Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

About the new hair sub-houses. What happened to Jack from Mass Effect? Too short profile?

Update: question answered. She's in my reworks section unless she's already elsewhere or anyone's interested.

I think i will hold of Baldi until Dr. Kawashima is up.

In the meantime i decided to create a draft for Kirishima. Here it is

As per the rules pointed out by @RJ-19-CLOVIS-93, I'll wait a month before officially suggesting this, but here is a SPOILER-FREE (all information comes from pre-release trailers, synopsis, and even the in-character twitter account made for Peter) profile for Peter from Deadpool 2 to be the God of Team Normals as a Quasideity. I can't decide whether he'd better fit in the House of Personality or the House of Characterization.

I propose this cause Team Normal trope does not have a deity attached yet (Sokka is the god of Boomerangs and Token Human is already taken by Christopher Robin). Plus he'd be a perfect humorous entry as he emphasizes the "Normal" in Team Normal and thus it can be added he somehow became an auxiliary member of teams such as The Avengers, Justice League, and even the Sailor Scouts.

Peter, God of Ordinary People on Super Teams

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/peter_7.jpg
  • Rank: Quasideity
  • Symbol: His mustache on the X-Force logo
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: The Team Normal, Unfazed Everyman, Sweet 'Staches
  • Domains: Ordinary, Beekeeping
  • Allies: Deadpool, Sherlock Holmes, Winnie the Pooh, Sokka
  • Fears: Princess Odette
  • An unassuming man with a dadbod showed up at the gates of the Pantheon one day. When he was asked by the Main House what he was doing there, Peter merely responded he saw an ad for the Pantheon and thought it sounded fun. After some convincing (aka pestering) by Deadpool, Peter was ascended on the grounds he emphasized the "Normal" in Team Normal.
  • Somehow managed to becoming an auxiliary member of the multiple teams of the Pantheon including the GUAG, GUAC, X-Men, Avengers, Justice League, and even the Sailor Scouts (even Peter is confused how he ended up there).
  • When not parachuting into battlefields with the teams, he works in his own temple as an Apiarist (beekeeper). This shared interest in bees allowed him to befriend fellow apiarist Sherlock Holmes and Winnie the Pooh is often seen getting honey from Peter.
  • He has a fear of swans which makes him very wary around Princess Odette.

I have question. Why do some of you feel the need to ascend some characters when they can either be put in as High Priest and Heralds, or be featured in a story?

[down]x2 We've included non-deities in stories before.

[up] Agreed. Peter's too new, doesn't have enough material for a full profile. High Priest to Sokka would work.

@ fasoman: You seem to be on a My Hero Academia kick. What other characters from there are you interested in?

What more should I add to Mule?

Mule, God of Being Organic All Along (Mosco, Universe 3's God of Destruction)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img01_1.png
Click here to see his true form
  • Votes: 1(Aerial Queen)
  • House: Cybernetics And Enhancements (House of Technology)
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: The Universe 3 emblem, a stylized targeting rectile
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Turns Out To Be An Imp Piloting A Humongous Mecha As A Big Twist, Intelligible Unintelligible, Well-Rounded And Disciplined Destroyer Deity, Boring, but Practical, Having A More Dangerous Team Than It Seems Because Of Being Well-Prepared, Eye Beams, Edible Theme Naming, Reference To Luud, The "Original" God of Destruction, Ambiguous Situation, Face Death with Dignity
  • Domains: Destruction, Technology, Spirituality, Mechs, Logic
  • Herald: His angel and attendant, Kampari
  • Interested in: Hana Song, the rest of his house
  • Superior: Present and Future Zen'o
  • Allies: Optimus Prime, Asura, Ganesha, Galactus, Yveltal, Android 17
  • Respects: Destruction of the Endless, the more responsible and competent deities like Izaya, Ra, Hestia
  • On speaking terms with: Team Universe 7 (except Frieza)
  • Enemies: Merged Zamasu (murderer of his future counterpart), Nekron, Apophis and the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, SKYNET, Sigma, Nurgle, Bandos
  • Disrespects: Easily distracted and Jerkass Gods like Zeus, The Flying Spaghetti Monster
  • A bit annoyed by: Lord Genome
  • Uncertain on: Beerus (Universe 7 equivalent)
  • Each universe has a God of Destruction as they do a Supreme Kai and angel attendant, Universe 3 being no different. Presiding over destruction there is Mosco, an intelligent and practical deity. He governs the Spiritual Universe, an intellectually advanced universe with emphasis on technology. Though he seems like a robot, which given what his universe it's easy to see him as such, he is in fact an imp called Mule who pilots a mech suit. He very rarely gets out of the suit.
  • Doesn't get out of his suit, and wants the pantheon to refer to him as Mosco instead of Mule. It is unclear if he's actually weak without it, has a height complex, or it serves another purpose. In the Mosco suit he only speaks in beeps, with his angel Kampari translating for him. It's kind of like the relationship between R2-D2 and C-3PO, except without the snark. Interestingly C-3PO can understand the Mosco suit perfectly, and Kampari can translate the astromech's beepings. The reason for this is because it's an old suit.
  • Sigma and SKYNET are very interested in the suit. Possessing it will either allow them to control the bulk of his power, or they could just force Mule to be a prisoner of his own suit and try to access his power. Sigma in particular still won't let go of his taste of godhood. Mosco was enraged and immediately began destroying any trace of them. However as they have a bad habit of not staying dead and being living viruses, he was only able to chase them off for now.
  • Beerus may be the more well-known Destroyer Deity, but Mosco is more competent than him. There are better destroyers since his universe is 7th in mortal rank, but Beerus' is second to bottom. This is because he doesn't get into squabbles, and is focused on achieving his goals. In the Tournament of Power, that's winning. His was second to last, but thanks to Android 17 wishing the erased universes back Universe 3 still lives. He is very grateful towards 17 for doing that. He didn't have anything against Universe 7, or Beerus...though in the manga he was still annoyed at him for missing Zeno's hide and seek tournament.
  • Naturally, he despises Zamasu for betraying the gods and slaughtering them all in another timeline, himself included. Though a destroyer, he has a purpose towards his destruction and seeks to maintain balance and good development in his universe. He does not like the Grand United Alliance of Destruction as their goal is to destroy until there's nothing left. Also considers Apophis an utterly monstrous example of the Destroyer Deity, and the embodiment of the negative stigma they get. Not that he likes too much creation and life either, as he feels Nurgle is a colossal disturbance of nature.
  • Planned the Universe 3 team with Ea, focusing more on Boring, but Practical tactics and preparations. Universe 3 has some of the poorest performances, unfortunately for him. They only knocked out one fighter, Android 18. The House of Combat was not impressed. Mosco was a little bit annoyed by Lord Genome as he's about beating mechs with his bare hands, which reminded him of his failures in the tournament. He hopes to improve his fighters' power so Universe 3 wins any potential future tournament the Zen'o might come up with. He is interested with Hana Song due to learning strength from technology and simulations.
    • To Universe 3's credit, they did last the second longest of the defeated teams because of their strategies, keeping half their team-mates until it was just them, Universe 7 and Universe 11. Their ace in the hole Aniraza is one of the strongest fighters in the entire tournament.
  • Interested in his house. He's been studying the different robotic gods so he can show them off to Ea, who's always a fan of technology and intellect. Him and Optimus Prime came to a mutual fondness of one another, due to being positive leaders and "robots". And while Mosco shares the Destroyer Deity title with Unicron, he uses it in a positive fashion and is not an Omnicidal Maniac. The different robotic, cybernetic and tech-savvy gods are studying his suit for its advanced technology, and to answer the question on how much of his power comes from Mosco instead of his true self, Mule.
  • Not a fan of the lazier, more irresponsible gods. He won't gossip or snark at them, but he won't care much for them either. Feels that Zeus is too childish, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster needs to be more careful with mistakes like causing the Great Flood while making pasta. For Bandos, however, this dispassion is outright contempt. Not surprising, given Bandos became a god by killing his predecessor and thus everyone on the planet. It reminds him too much of Zamasu.
  • Respectful towards the more responsible deities in the pantheon. Personally roots for Ra whenever he fights Apophis. He is somewhat fond of Hestia because she doesn't have the issues her family has. He gets along with other destroyers who aren't irresponsible and/or psychopaths, such as Galactus, Yveltal and Asura. Respectful towards Destruction of the Endless, though doesn't get him quitting his job.
  • Friendly towards Ganesha for being a deity involved with intelligence, which he thinks could help out Universe 3. He's interested in Ganesha due to his father being the Hindu Destroyer Deity. Also, he's glad he's not a musclehead like Rumsshi, the God of Destruction from Universe 3's twin Universe 10.

Héctor, god of Parental Love Songs (Chorizo)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8388a3cc_93f2_4c46_8a4b_4b36d8095119.jpeg
Héctor when he was alive
  • Theme song: Remember Me(The Lullaby version)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His skeleton guitar
  • Alighnment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Con Man, Deadpan Snarker, Lovable Rogue, Sad Clown, Skeletal Musician, The Trickster, Connected All Along, Cruel and Unusual Death, Disappeared Dad, Doting Parent, Long-Lost Relative, Mysterious Parent, Parental Love Song, Secretly Dying, Trauma Conga Line, Earn Your Happy Ending
  • Domains: Music, Fatherhood, Skeletons, Death
  • Followers:
  • Allies: Marlin, Brook, Don Diego de la Vega/El Zorro, Emily, Jack Skellington, Speedy Gonzales, Papyrus and Sans
  • Enemies: Scaramouche, Ember McLain, I-No, Courtney Gears, Balthazar Bratt, and Margaret Moonlight,
  • Additional Character Relationships:
  • Respected by/Respects:
  • Pitied by: The good members of the Houses of Friendship and Family
  • Opposed by/Opposes:
  • Conflicting Opinion:
  • High Priestess: Mrs. Jumbo
  • Herald: Miguel Rivera ( his great-great grandson)
  • Joined the pantheon when he was reunited with his daughter in the afterlife and was finally given credit to the songs he wrote, but were stolen from his then-best friend. Many deities were moved to tears by his story and his song to his daughter, and as such he became the best representative to the title.
  • The good members of the Houses of Friendship and Family have the utmost pity and sympathy for him. In while he did leave his family for a career in music, he had every intention of coming back to his family but was murdered by his best friend. His best friend then proceeded to steal the songs he wrote,(and if some more sources are to believed he left to find more inspiration for his music and it was his childhood best friend.) but never gave him credit for them . For 96 years his friend would soak up in the fame and glory of his songs, while he would spend those years hated by his family, mocked and ridiculed in the afterlife, being in danger of being forgotten by his daughter, would spend every Dia de los Muertos trying to cross the bridge to see his daughter, and never suspected/knowing his best friend of being his murderer. He's been through a lot, but he was finally able to reunite with his daughter, accepted by his family, and got credit for his songs.
  • He didn't have the highest opinion of musicians for a while (understandably), but his love for music was renewed by his great-great grandson and his relationship with music and musicians was patched.
  • Seems to get along well with Jack Skellington, another skeleton in the pantheon (even though Hector is more of a spirit). Considering the Day of the Dead falls around Halloween, this has got the attention of as it's not a holiday he knows about. It was later explained to him that the Day of the Dead is not really the Mexican equivalent for Halloween and was more a holiday about remembering family and friends who have passed away and helping them on their spiritual journey, however that didn't mean that holiday is about mourning but rather a celebration to honor the dead. This gave Jack the idea of collaborating with the good members of the houses of Life and Death, Undead, and Ghost. Hector seems to like the idea so long as it's the other good aligned Mexican deities who organizes it.
  • He also seems to get along well with the other skeletons in the pantheon (even though he is more of a ghost or spirit). Especially Brook considering he is also a music loving skeleton and the two are often seen playing and writing music for the other good-aligned skeletons in the pantheon.
  • Considering his movie became the highest grossing movie in Mexico, it's no surprise that he became allies with Speedy Gonzales, even though he died before any of his cartoons were released.
  • He against all the evil musicians in the pantheon, especially those who use their music to commit their evil deeds. Margaret Moonlight, being in an assassin, really rubs him the wrong way. While he can understand Ember McLain's and Margaret's wanting to be remembered (and can even sympathize with Ember considering her backstory), he doesn't approve of her using her music to control the entire world.

I'm also good with Hector, but can someone who knows more about overwatch help, because I feel like something about sombra needs to be said here. So please help

Looking for input/thumbs for Zelenin and Jimenez

Jimenez, God of Emergency Transformations (Awake Jimenez, Soil Jimenez)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_awake_jimenez_2.png
His human form
Soil Jimenez
  • Theme Song: Theme of Chaos, The Tyrannical Hero
  • Lesser God (Formerly Demigod, Intermediate God as Soil Jimenez)
  • Symbol: Bugaboo's mask breaking a Demonica's mask
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, though not as completely as he may like.
  • Portfolio: Eagleland, Mercenary, Was Once a Man, Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Forsaking his humanity, Merging with Bugaboo to save both their lives, The Social Darwinist, Power Born of Madness, Choosing to stay with the demons of the Schwarzwelt, Deadpan Snarker, Half-Human Hybrid, Absurdly Sharp Claws, Playing with Fire
  • Domains: Power, Demons, Madness, Shape
  • Allies: Mem Aleph, Lucifer and the rest of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos, Albert Wesker, Alipheese Fateburn, Luka, Apollyon
  • Enemies: YHVH and the rest of the Grand United Alliance of Law, Zelenin, Flynn, Nanashi, Mamori and Mirei
  • A soldier sent to investigate the Schwarzwelt and keep it from wiping out humanity, Jimenez ran across an abused demon named Bugaboo, who he adopted. During his journey through the parallel world, Jimenez's opinion of humanity was eroded away by the sight of their sins, and he gained new appreciation for the wildness and freedom of the demons. It came to a head when he and Bugaboo were forced by the cruel Captain Jack into a twisted experiment: to save both his and Bugaboo's life, Jimenez had a comrade fuse the two of them together, and the resulting new entity quickly lost himself to his new power and fell in with the demons. Jimenez continues work with Mem Aleph to awaken the Schwarzwelt, wipe the Pantheon clean of civilization and bring a new age of wildness and freedom.
  • While not liking to take orders more than he has to, Jimenez is a member of Lucifer's Morningstar Battalion. He's nursing ambitions to ascend to Lord of Chaos status, but that's still a little beyond his reach. He hasn't given up trying to make himself strong enough to go for it, though...
  • His alliance with Wesker has turned heads, particularly as he was the subject of the sort of mad science Wesker is known for. Honestly, Jimenez couldn't care less, so long as Wesker doesn't screw with any demons. Heck, trying to uplift humanity to survive in a wild, chaotic world is a noble cause in Jimenez's eyes. To this end, he's given Wesker a sample of the Delphinus Parasite.
  • Despite his inhumanity, there's a flicker of Jimenez's old self in him: he's perfectly capable of showing kindness and camaraderie to those he deems worthy. An example of this is Luka: he admires the kid for overthrowing Ilias for the sake of monsters. While the version of him in the Pantheon has surrendered himself to his demonic instincts, an alternate version of him was convinced to follow a different path. There are those who hope to sway this Jimenez in that direction.
  • Was involved in the Ragnarok incident, as the idea of starting a Forever War was too tempting to pass up: it was he who was responsible for abducting Mamori during Mirei's rampage, as well as trying to assassinate Mirei afterwards so as to destroy any hopes of curing the Arms Virus. He only made things worse when he taunted Mirei with the GUAC's plans to have Momoka Sagara forcefully wield Mamori in service of the GUAC once Mirei was gone, in order to enrage Mirei and have her fight at full power. Needless to say, between that and his alliance with Wesker the two really don't like him all that much.

Zelenin, Goddess of Brainwashing for the Greater Good (Judge Zelenin, Pillar Zelenin 'Lady Gaga')

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_judge_zelenin.png
Her human form
Pillar Zelenin
  • Theme Music: Theme Of Law, Holy Miracle
  • Lesser Goddess (Formerly Demigoddess, Intermediate Goddess as Pillar Zelenin)
  • Symbol: A white cross pierced through a Demonica helmet
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Madden Into Misanthropy, desiring a World of Silence, Creepy Cool Crosses, Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, Magic Music that causes brainwashing, Abandoning her humanity to become an angel, Angelic Beauty, Shock and Awe, Unwitting Pawn, Knight Templar, Well-Intentioned Extremist, Hot Scientist, Requiem
  • Domains: Light, Hatred, Music, Religion
  • Allies: YHVH and the rest of the Grand United Alliance of Law (except Frollo)
  • Enemies: Lucifer and the rest of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos, Jimenez, Merged Zamasu, Frollo, Nanashi, Flynn, Aleph
  • Opposed To: Lady Gaga
  • A scientist sent to investigate the Schwarzwelt and keep it from wiping out humanity, Zelenin was captured and tortured by demons, giving her an intense hatred of them. During her journey through the parallel world, Zelenin's opinion of humanity was eroded away by the sight of their sins, and she gained new appreciation for the order and nobility of the angels. It came to a head when she was offered divine power by the angel Mastema: becoming an angel, the resulting new entity quickly lost herself to the power of the heavens and fell in with the angels. Zelenin continues to work with YHVH to power herself up enough to spread her song through the pantheon, wipe it clean of free will and bring a new age of order.
  • Despite her desires for a World of Silence and her hatred of humanity, Zelenin and Zamasu don't get along: she used to be human, and that's bad enough in Zamasu's eyes (ignoring the fact he's part mortal himself), while Zelenin is opposed to the fact he wants to wipe out all gods but himself along with the mortals. 'All gods' includes YHVH and the angels after all.
  • Frollo tried to hit on her once, enraptured as he was by the sight of her angelic beauty. She nailed him with a Megido Storm for his trouble.
  • Opposed to Lady Gaga: not only is she disgusted by Gaga's perceived 'depravity' and rather miffed that her holy raiment is being compared to Gaga's outlandish costumes, she's even more furious that Gaga's songs are so damn catchy they can break through her brainwashing.
  • Zelenin's song has the power to erase all emotion from those hit by it, leaving them empty shells mindlessly babbling praises to The Lord. It's roundly considered by others to be a Fate Worse than Death.
  • Despises Flynn, Aleph and Nanashi for their defiance of God.

[up] Robocop could pity Jimenez because he was almost killed as well until he was rebuilt as a cyborg, while Zelenin could be at odds with Hal Jordan because of the ethics behind the use of her powers. To wit, the Star Sapphires will brainwash members of other Corps that they capture to turn them into servants of Love. While not exactly good-guys, the Sapphires are far from evil and this is easily the most questionable thing they've ever done. Also, the Indigo Tribe is made up of "born again" villains and evildoers whose exposure to coalesced compassion turns them into beings dedicated to helping others. Unfortunately, they all seem a'ok with brainwashing... and it turns out they aren't fun to be around when the brainwashing drops. Indigo-1 would oppose her for this, as well. Both Jimenez and Zelenin could be at odds with benevolent creator gods like Aslan and the Love that Moves the Stars.

@Jimenez and Zelenin: Lucifer would end up pitying both, as they lost most of their humanity rather than holding on by the end. Even Jimenez at his most extreme.

Also Zelenin should get along as well with Malthael, as at her most extreme she seeks to destoy the human soul completely for the sake of the Lord and make mankind into soulless dolls. A sentiment he'd share as a efficient means of culling them and making them into obedient tools that can be revived after death when they die in droves in the Lord's name.

Also something something the Lord she worships Being Female YHVH.

I looked at Mr. Scratch's profile, and it looks like there's a lot going on in and that he's involved with Alan Wake's disappearance. I'd like some help in writing Alan's comeback (I'm changing his trope from Badass Bookworm to Most Writers Are Writers). He's in the restructure thread.

I guess i'm finished with Baldi now. Any ideas you might want me to add or is Baldi ready to smack some fools?

Oh hi! Welcome to my profile!

Baldi, God of Corporal Punishment

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/baldi.jpg
That's me!
  • [tup]: 1 (Kingvideogames)
  • Potential House: Justice Bringers
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: 7 notebooks and a ruler.
  • Theme Song: Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning
  • Alignment: True Neutral. Becomes Lawful Evil if you fail one of his questions.
  • Portfolio: Bald of Evil, Black Speech, Death Glare, Evil Teacher, Idiot Hair, Suddenly Shouting, Surprise Creepy
  • Domains: School, Math, Punishment, Pursuing, Creepiness
  • Allies: Agatha Trunchbull, Denzel Crocker, The Slenderman
  • Rivals: Dr. Hax
  • Enemies: The Good Aligned deities from House of School, The Doki Doki Literature Club, The Mann Co. Mercenaries
  • Baldi is a teacher who initially would look like a Cool Teacher, teaching math to his students and watching over them to see if they behave. That is, until someone gets one of his answers wrong, which prompts him to chase after the one who made the mistake and "correct them". Baldi's a bit of an oddball among the pantheon but to some people, he is utterly terrifying.
  • He entered one day, nothing about him looked out of the ordinary other than his low polygon appearance. Then he started handing some notebooks to some kids and asking them question. Then one of them got to an answer that was all gibberish but because they were still forced to answer, he wrote a random number in it. That didn't go well since then Baldi started going after the kid who got the question wrong and what happened to him wasn't pretty once Baldi caught up with him.
  • Baldi is considered borderline omnicient, he can hear every door in the pantheon and perfectly knows who opened it, so he has an easy time navigating around the pantheon. Unfortunately for his victims, that has proven to be a very scary ability, as he won't stop until you collect all his 7 notebooks and escape the House you are currently in. There been instances where if the victim didn't collect all 7 notebooks and exit the temple anyway, Baldi would still go after them until the deity either finishes collecting all notebooks or is caught by baldi. And those who were caught by Baldi had stated that they had a horrible time with him.
  • One time he was in charge of giving a math class to the Mann Co. Mercs. It went smoothly until he asked the question that's impossible to answer, that's when the Soldier thought that answering it would be the correct choice but it only made Baldi angry at him and then proceed to smack the soldier with a ruler while everyone else fled. Baldi was later reported by Bowser Jr. (who had video proof) and sent to pantheon jail, last seen alongside Yoshi (who was serving time for commiting tax fraud).
  • Some people had to call out Baldi for basically forcing his students into getting a question wrong, as if he deliberately vandalized the notebooks so he would be able to chase after the poor sod who decides to take his questions. Even the best of the best students can seem to decipher the third question of each notebook and other teachers are appalled at how he seemingly kills students for making a small mistake.
  • The Houses of Craft and Technology decided to fix the broken questions in the "You Can Think Pad" but the code for each is completely broken, not helped by Baldi freaking out that someone stole his pads and tried to fix it because to him they are already perfect.
  • While he is looked down by other deities in the House of School, he is on better terms with both Denzel Crocker and Agatha Trunchbull, notable for being quite the nasty teachers themselves. Then there is also the fact that Baldi seems to respect Seymour Skinner for reminding him of the Principal of the Thing, even if Seymour doesn't return the sentiment.
  • Deities have compared Baldi's source game to that of the Doki Doki Literature Club! being both school settings that pretend to be something else and turning out to be another thing entirely. The girls have heard of Baldi and decided to avoid him but unfortunately they ran into him in a chance meeting in the house of school and Baldi greeted them as usual like he does other students. Then he handed them over his notebooks and they couldn't leave until they answered all the questions. At that point, Monika, feeling guilty for what she did in the past, decided to answer the broken questions and enable the other three to escape as a way to earn their forgiveness. What happened between her and Baldi is unknown but some say she managed to escape him and after that incident Sayori, Natsuki and Yuri have been much more tolerant and kind to Monika.
  • The strangest thing about Baldi is that he is allies with the Slenderman, possible for being an entity that stalks people who decide to go looking for seven elements scattered in a place just like Baldi does with his notebooks. This would imply that Baldi isn't even human at all, but he remains a mystery to everyone about what he truly is.
  • It is said that the one that can rival Baldi in persistance is Dr. Hax since they won't stop until punishing those who have angered them. Hax on his part doesn't like Baldi very much, while he is no cheater (Unless you are one of those who think he vandalized the notebooks on purpose) he isn't a saint either and the fact that he seemingly goes after anyone who makes a very simple mistake is something he doesn't tolerate.

Congratulations, you managed to read all flavour texts! Now all you need to do is GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!!!!

Final Queen Vanessa Draft! Anything else I need to add, edit or remove?

"Who's there?! Who dares enter my home?!"

Queen Vanessa, Goddess of Sinister Silhouettes.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vanessa_06.png
Queen Vanessa. Click here to see her previous form.
  • Potential House: Villainous Appearances
  • [tup]: 1 (Faso)
  • Rank: Intermediate Goddess. Quasideity as Princess Vanessa.
  • Symbol: The silhouette of her manor.
  • Theme Song: A Forsaken Place (when approaching her manor), and Vanessa Wants to Play.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil. Formerly Lawful Good as Princess Vanessa.
  • Portfolio: Ax-Crazy, Go Mad from the Revelation, The Dreaded, Knight of Cerebus, An Ice Person, Ice Queen, God Save Us from the Queen!, Evil Is Deathly Cold, Evil Old Folks, Love Makes You Evil, Yandere, Would Hurt a Child.
  • Domains: Ice, Fear, Hatred, Despair, Evil, Love, Obsession.
  • Enemies: Hat Kid, The Snatcher, Mario, Luigi, Queen Elsa, Cuphead & Mugman.
  • Respected by: Yuuki Terumi, Flowey, GUAC Yandere Squad (especially Yuno Gasai).
  • Feared by: Almost anyone in the Pantheon, Hat Kid, Mustache Girl.
  • Dislikes: The House of Fire And Electricity, the House of Love. Anyone who enters her manor.
  • Pitied by: Velvet Crowe
  • Opposed by: Any good royal deity. Any child deity.
  • Queen Vanessa is the most feared denizen of Subcon Forest. So much so that, even the spirits that reside in the forest fear her. She is absolutely dangerous, and she'll freeze anyone who enters her manor, including children.
  • Before she was Queen Vanessa, she was once Princess Vanessa, who formerly ruled the forest village alongside her lover; the Prince (aka The Snatcher). She seemed like a nice girl at first glance, but deep down, she had a very unhealthy obsession with the Prince to the point that she banned bacon in the house because he loved it more than her, and was even considering to lock him up in the basement just to keep him from leaving. As the Prince went away for his studies, she would receive letters from him detailing about his progress, but more importantly, the letters mentioned a female tutor, which made Vanessa increasingly jealous overtime as a result. At some point in her past, Vanessa was then crowned queen because her mother had an "accident". However, she didn't like becoming a queen because she thought she can no longer be a beautiful princess. Then, one day, Vanessa was strolling around town when she finds her Prince hanging out with another girl, and the girl in question was giving him flowers. Upon seeing this, Vanessa became heartbroken, and immediately assumed that the Prince cheated on her to see another girl. She storms away crying, unaware that the Prince was actually buying flowers from the girl to give to Vanessa. When the Prince tried to give the flowers to Vanessa, it was already to late. Her emotions corrupted her, and she then locked the Prince up in her basement. Vanessa then transformed into a hideous shadow monster, and since then, it has been presumed that she was responsible for the creation of Subcon Forest. As for the Prince, he would eventually transform into The Snatcher.
  • Queen Vanessa was ascended into the Pantheon for being the living embodiment of Sinister Silhouettes. Upon her ascension, she became feared by the rest of the Pantheon because of her really dangerous nature, but especially Hat Kid, who knows full well how terrifying she really is. Most gods and goddesses keep their distances away from Queen Vanessa, lest they want to end up as an ice sculpture in her manor.
    • Because of her dangerous nature and ability over ice, Queen Elsa opposes Vanessa for unnecessarily freezing anyone she comes across. Elsa tried to confront Vanessa for her actions, but was immediately attacked on sight and narrowly escapes. Elsa has since considered Vanessa a very dangerous enemy.
    • Naturally, most good royals in the Pantheon fear and oppose Queen Vanessa, and have issued a warning to any deity should she come across their temples.
  • Yuuki Terumi has expressed interest in Queen Vanessa because she's brimming with a lot of hatred and despair of which he could feed off of. However, since he was unsuccessful in "negotiating" with her, Terumi would troll Vanessa occasionally by entering her manor and interrupting her when she least expects it. Terumi is hoping to get Queen Vanessa on his side one day so that he can use her despair to his advantage.
  • Flowey also respects Queen Vanessa for mercilessly killing anyone, including children, she comes by. However, he chooses to keep his distance from her, and just observes her killing spree from afar.
  • Velvet Crowe pities Queen Vanessa because of her dark and tragic backstory, which almost reminds her of herself, and how she almost let all of her hatred and despair consume her for the sake of a loved one. Velvet still sees Vanessa as an enemy though, as she notes that Vanessa outputs a lot of Malevolence to the point that she could be considered a Lord of Calamity herself. She also reminds Velvet too much of Teresa Linares, and wonders if Vanessa is what Teresa would have been if she were to be consumed by Malevolence and become a Daemon.
  • Mustache Girl was also not happy to hear about her ascension, because she was the only "bad guy" she could not judge because of how terrifying she is.
  • Due to her tragic backstory, some speculate that Queen Vanessa still has remnants of her love for the Prince, aka The Snatcher, hidden within her. However, given how dangerous she is, no one wants to try and consult her about it.
  • The GUAC Yandere Squad was quite impressed at how far Queen Vanessa was willing to go just to keep her lover from leaving her, and is considering inviting her over to their house for discussion. Given her current state though, they fear that this could backfire and end up in them getting frozen into ice sculptures, but Yuno Gasai is confident enough to take Vanessa on should this happen.
  • Given how she is surrounded by a lot of ice, she loathes deities with fire-based powers, given how they could make quick work of all the ice sculptures she "created". Whenever this would free them or permanently kill them is unknown. It also doesn't help that her hair is very long, making that a fire hazard as well.
  • The Snatcher was both pissed off seeing her within the Pantheon, but at the same time relieved. He's angry at her ascension because he wants absolutely nothing to do with her after her actions caused him to get changed into the Snatcher by being locked in the cellar. He's happy at her ascension because her temple is now in the house of Villains, this meant that she was finally gone from Subcon Forest, at least within the Pantheon.
  • Professor E. Gadd sent Luigi out to Queen Vanessa's manor to try and place some radars within Queen Vanessa's manor in hidden locations to help keep track of her and any poor souls who wander in there. He reluctantly agreed if Mario would come and help him, considering just how unusual Queen Vanessa is from the usual ghouls and manors he is used to. With the two of them running around in the manor, Queen Vanessa found herself chasing one after the other as they keep evading her grasp. Doesn't help that they brought Ice Flowers with them so they were able to freeze her for brief periods of time, buying them precious seconds to finish their mission. Ever since then, Queen Vanessa is interested in making sure they stay out of her manor, or at the very least, turn them into new ice statues.
  • Given their experiences in dealing with devils, Cuphead and Mugman decided, after being dared by a couple other pranksters, to last a full hour within Queen Vanessa's home. Using a combination of their invincibility Super Art, quick and rapid smoke bomb dashes, and using the fact that they have a cup and a mug for a head to hide by crouching on table in poorly lit rooms, they were able to survive and left behind a message within the manor saying how they outsmarted Queen Vanessa. Not that would be able to find it now, as she ripped and tore it up after reading it.
  • The problem with anyone trying to either befriend or talk with Vanessa is that she is not really much for conversation, even in her regular queen form. She would not let her beloved prince try to explain to her that he was not cheating on her when he was buying her flowers, so the odds of her listening to a random stranger is incredibly low, if not, nonexistent.

Is there anything else I can add?

Arthur Dent, Divine Unfazed Everyman of the Pantheon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dent_0.jpg
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: The number 42 and a towel
  • Theme Song: The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy theme song
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Heroic Neutral Action Survivor, The Comically Serious, Fantastic Racism, The Watson, Pajama-Clad Hero for a while; still has a Limited Wardrobe, Deadpan Snarker
  • Domains: Void, Curse, Tea, Travel, Earth
  • Allies: Leslie Knope, Iroh, Star-lord, The Doctor, Jack Harkness, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, River Song, Rincewind, Peter Parker/Spider-Man
  • Enemies: The Vogons, The Daleks, The Cybermen
  • Annoyed by: The entire subhouse of Aliens
  • Annoys: Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind
  • A little-told part of the Pantheon is the culture shock that one partakes when one first enters the Pantheon. Most people there probably haven't thought that aliens, vampires and time travel even existed until they step foot in the grounds. Without others to guide them through the process, it can drive quite of few insane. Arthur Dent is not such a person. When he found out that his home planet was destroyed just to build a space highway, he hardly batted an eye. Likewise, the concept of ascending to meet other beings from multiple dimensions only elicited one reply: ""Is there tea available?" Thus his jubilant reaction when he found out that yes, there is tea in the Pantheon. That was all he needed to know, and he ascended shortly afterwards.
    • Sadly for him, some things remain the same. Shortly after he made it into the Pantheon, he was slapped with a series of documents that had to be signed at specific locations and at precise moments of time. Otherwise, he would have to start the process all over again. This was the workings of the Vogons who insisted on making every moment of his ascension process as possible. Thankfully, Leslie Knope was able to help him navigate through the red tape to get past them with some sabotaging from Ron Swanson.
  • The very first place that he visited was the House of Food in the search of his first cup of tea of ages. He expected that such a deity would be British. Instead, it was Uncle Iroh, a well respected patron on the arts. While disappointed, Dent agreed that it was the best tea he's ever had. Arthur Dent frequently buys tea to stock up a supply for himself.
  • Dent saw a chance for him to be treated as any other normal human would in the Pantheon. He entered the subhouse of Aliens in the hopes that he would have a better start with them. Unfortunately, the deities already know that the aliens in his world refer to him as "Earthman". It's a name many of them decided to call him to this day.
  • Star-lord was surprised to find someone who was abducted from Earth just like him, though his Earth is still around unlike Arthur's. There was more amusement when he found out Arthur was plucked ten years before him. It was Peter Quill who was there to fill in on what Arthur Dent had missed in the past ten years. Afterward, Arthur Dent is often dragged into adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy, often against his will.
  • When the Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind sees humanity depicted with aliens, he smiles at those who are able to overcome technological disadvantages in other to prove they are just as tenacious as their counterparts, if not more. Arthur Dent... is not that kind of person. His antics did not amuse the God-Emperor one bit, especially since Arthur has started to make the human race a laughing stock of space explorers. He even thinks the series is propaganda by aliens to make humanity look bad. Either way, he can't convince others that it's not funny.
  • For others such as the Doctor, he sees the man as a potential ally. Arthur likes the Time Lord as one of the few aliens that calls him by his real name as well as being one of the closet things to being like an Englishman. The Tenth incarnation even implied that he had met the man before they were in the Pantheon, calling him a "nice man".
    • Dent has made an even closer bond with the various ascended companions along the way, all of whom are from Britain. Amy and Rory were able to fill him in on the rest of the things that he may have missed. It took a while for him to understand the nature of River Song, though. And it took a while for him to convince Jack Harkness he's not interested.
    • Of course, that got him associated with many malicious aliens such as the Daleks and the Cybermen. They don't actively seek him out because they consider him harmless for now.
  • Arthur's case of misfortune was so bad, Rincewind felt pity, and he's the literally god of those who keep getting screwed over by the universe. While there is nothing the wizard can do to help, he has often been stranded with the man in many adventures. That's one combination no enemy wants to touch. They may get screwed over, but it at least keeps them alive.
  • At least Arthur has a representative in the superhero department. Spider-Man usually represents those in the audience who struggle to balance their lives. Peter proved to be the perfect person to talk to Arthur about his grievances. Parker deals with his own version of bad luck, named the “Parker Luck”.

Harry Burns and Sally Albright, Co-deities of the Romantic Comedy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/harry_and_sally.jpg
Left: Harry. Right: Sally
  • Demigods
  • Symbol: A photo frame with a picture of the two of them
  • Theme Song: It Had To Be You
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (Harry), Neutral Good (Sally)
  • Portfolios: A Second Love with plenty of gender comparisons and yet were attracted to each other, Deadpan Snarkers, Tried not get love in the way of their friendship, brokeup but made up later,Fate drew them together in the end.
  • Domains: Trickery, Repose, Good, Love (eventually)
  • Followers: Too many to count.
  • Allies: The House of Love in general, especially Sam Malone and Diane Chambers as well as Peter Warne and Ellie Andrews, Maeda Keiji Mike (Mike), Kasuga (Sally)
  • Opposes: Brynhild, Ato-ko Shirogane
  • Annoys: The entire subhouse of Chefs And Establishments (Sally)
  • Special Relationship: Rick Blaine
  • There are some couples who met for the first time, knowing that they will be together for the rest of their lives. And then there's these two. Harry and Sally met in their college years and it took ten years just for them to become friends and a couple more after that to become loves. Even then, that relationship didn't last long. All in all, it took a long-winding adventure for the two to stick in the end. Despite all of that, it is considered one of the most enduring love stories in The Multiverse. For that, the House of Love decided to officially recognize the two by helping them ascend into the Pantheon.
  • It's clear that the two have plenty of fans in the House of Love, but there are a couple of people of note. They were highly valued by Sam and Diane, who also had to go through a rough and tumble relationship that included love. While the later weren't able to stick together, they wish the newest couple the best.
    • It is noted that their first meetup happened in a road trip. To their surprise, there was a temple dedicated to romances that started with a road trip. Peter and Ellie hoped that their first road trip would get them together. While that wasn't the case, the couple took credit for eventually getting the two hooked.
  • Given that the Pantheon has many people some may have thought to be fiction, Harry and Sally had a unique opportunity to settle a Seinfeldian Conversation. They both went to see Rick Blaine in order to ask if he truly wanted his former lover to leave on that plane. Rick merely stated that he didn't want her involved in the war, especially after he decided to abandon his neutrality. Unfortunately, he doesn't know where Ilsa is at the moment, so he can't answer truthfully whether she wanted to stay or not. Nevertheless, the couple noticed how much his film influenced their own.
  • Few couples have had to suffer as much as those two. Much of the blame was set on Brynhild, though the Valkyrie is sympathetic with their complaints. The two groups have agreed to move on from the kerfuffle.
  • Unlike Brynhild, Ato-ko Shirogane has no such qualms when it comes to breaking up potential couples. She is one of the biggest reasons many of their rank are kicked out of their temple. Hell, she nearly succeeded in derailing their relationship until they fixed their communication problems and got honest with each other.
  • Maeda Keiji recognized them as pretty good matchmakers... just not to each other. When they tried to find someone the other would like, the two matches ended up dating each other. Surprisingly, the two married and has been together ever since.
  • Exclusive to Harry:
    • Is quite popular in the House of Philosophy, much to Sally's disbelief. Many of his theories and phrases are used to this day. Of course that doesn't mean that he is right all the time. He could not have predicted that the two would fall in love with each other in the end.
    • Mike from Monster's Inc saw the perfect joke to plan on the couple. He impersonated Harry to trick Sally into letting him. That was when he planned to scare her. Unfortunately, she reacted by spraying pepper spray on his eye, causing him to go in spasms. When Harry found out about that... he decided to help the monster out by buying him a drink. Turns out they have the same voice.
  • Exclusive to Sally
    • What most people remember from her is not her romance with Harry, but her uncanny ability to fake orgasms. Sally insisted it was only to prove a point, but she has been asked to repeat the process various times. Even Kasuga, Goddess of The Immodest Orgasm came by for a demonstration.
    • May well be one of the most hated customers in the House of Food. Sally is notoriously picky with how different foods touch each other. Harry jokingly called her the "Berlin Wall of gourmets". Even worse, when a waitress complains about it she denies ever being that picky. As Harry claims, she is high maintenance that claims to be low maintenance. As such, only the most patient of chefs are able to tolerate her.
