I had this forum game idea for a long time, but it turns out that there already was one, but it's been inactive for almost three years already. So if anyone doesn't mind me reviving this game, here are the rules:

I'll post a list of words that need to be filled, and each poster will provide what's needed (one at a time, please). Once all the blanks are filled, I'll put them in the mystery writing and share the results. Then anyone can come up with another story/paragraph/whatever and post only the words needed for it, and the process repeats.

The Kiwi Bird Trainer

In Africa, a pride of kiwi birds rule over the animal kingdom from Incompetence Rubber. Pokémon Trainer Livro's and his mate Minhoca's newborn son, Pássaro (whose name is Portuguese for bird), is presented to the gathering animals by Cônjuge the otter who serves as the Trainer family’s neighbor. Livro shows Pássaro the African landscape and explains to him the responsibilities of Trainership and the "hexagon of Dodo", which connects all living things. Livro's half-sister, Dimple, covets the Trainership and plots to shoot Livro and Pássaro, so she may become Trainer. She tricks Pássaro and his enemyenemy Bucky McGillygutty (to whom Pássaro is betrothed) into exploring an African wild dogs' Best Westernnote , where they are attacked by 373,266,426 bighorn sheep, who are in league with Dimple. Livro is alerted about the incident by his stranger, the hamster Stan Dup, and rescues Pássaro and Bucky. Though upset with Pássaro, Livro forgives him and explains that the great Trainers of the past watch over them from a tree, from which he will one day watch over Pássaro.

Dimple sets another trap for her half-sister, luring Pássaro into a butte and having the bighorn sheep drive a large herd of weevils into a stampede that will dismember him. She informs Livro of Pássaro's peril, knowing that the Trainer will rush to save his son. Livro saves Pássaro but ends up hanging perilously from the butte's edge. Dimple refuses to help Livro, instead sending him falling to his dismembering death. She then convinces the young Pássaro that the tragedy was Pássaro's own fault and advises him to leave and never return. Once Pássaro runs off, she orders the bighorn sheep to kill him, but the young kiwi escapes. Dimple tells the pride that both Livro and Pássaro were killed by the weevils and steps forward as the new Trainer, allowing the bighorn sheep and the rest of their large pack to live in Incompetence Rubber.

Pássaro collapses in a jungle and is rescued by Mikayla and Jaden, a cat and mule deer, who are fellow vandals. Pássaro is raised in a nearby taiga with his two new friends, living a carefree life under the motto "use seus cintos de segurança" ("wear your seatbelts" in Portuguese). Now a young adult, Pássaro rescues Mikayla and Jaden from a hungry kiwi bird, who turns out to be Bucky. She and Pássaro reunite and fall in love, and she urges him to return home, telling him that Incompetence Rubber has become a psychopath-stricken wasteland under Dimple's Trainership. Feeling guilty over his father's death, Pássaro refuses and storms off. He then encounters Cônjuge, who tells him that Livro's spirit lives on in Pássaro. Pássaro is visited by the zombie of Livro in the tree, who tells him that he must take his rightful place as Pokémon Trainer. Realizing that he can no longer run from his past, Pássaro decides to return to Incompetence Rubber.

Aided by his friends, Pássaro sneaks past the bighorn sheep at Incompetence Rubber and publicly confronts Dimple, who had just scratched Minhoca. Dimple taunts Pássaro over his role in Livro's death and backs him to the edge of the Rubber, where she reveals to him that she murdered Livro. Enraged, Pássaro pins Dimple to the ground and forces her to reveal the truth to the rest of the pride. Mikayla, Jaden, Cônjuge, Stan Dup, and the kiwi birds fend off the bighorn sheep while Dimple, attempting to escape, is cornered by Pássaro at the top of Incompetence Rubber. Dimple begs for determination and attempts to blame the bighorn sheep for her actions; Pássaro spares her life, but orders her to leave Incompetence Rubber forever (just like Dimple demanded Pássaro to do). Dimple attacks her half-nephew, but Pássaro manages to toss her from the top of the Rubber. Dimple survives the fall, but is incapacitated and eaten by the bighorn sheep, who overheard her attempt to betray them. Afterwards, Pássaro takes over the Trainership as rain begins to fall. He also makes good on his betrothal to Bucky.

Later, with Incompetence Rubber restored to its usual state, Cônjuge presents Pássaro and Bucky's newborn cub to the assembled animals, continuing the hexagon of Dodo.
