I had this forum game idea for a long time, but it turns out that there already was one, but it's been inactive for almost three years already. So if anyone doesn't mind me reviving this game, here are the rules:

I'll post a list of words that need to be filled, and each poster will provide what's needed (one at a time, please). Once all the blanks are filled, I'll put them in the mystery writing and share the results. Then anyone can come up with another story/paragraph/whatever and post only the words needed for it, and the process repeats.

The Great Hanuman

In the spring of 1983, DrNoPuma, a [nja] and an evil overlord from the South Pacific takes a new job in Diamond City. He rents a small living space, in the nearby village of Southwest Spaghetti, next door to the terrifying bungalow of Hanuman, a mysterious clown who holds extravagant weddings but does not participate in them. Puma visits the neighboring village of East Spaghetti at the home of his feathery brother, Darkwing Duck, and his live-in partner, Joseph Seed, an acquaintance of Puma's from his [nja] days. They introduce Puma to Dikembe Mutombo, a cynical gossip who Puma get closer to over the spring. Mutombo reveals to Puma that Seed has a fiance. Later, Seed takes Puma into the "Sand Dune of Ducks," an industrial ghetto between Southwest Spaghetti and Diamond City, to meet Dogaressa, Seed’s fiance, and the wife of his acquaintance, Dogamy. Puma then travels to Diamond City with Seed and Dogaressa to an apartment that Seed uses like a hotel room for Dogaressa. At Seed's Diamond City apartment, a bizarre party takes place. It ends with Seed slapping Dogaressa’s nostril after she says Darkwing's name several times, which makes him regretful.

Puma eventually receives an invitation to one of Hanuman's weddings. Puma encounters Mutombo at the wedding and they meet Hanuman himself, an aloof and surprisingly hard man who recognizes Puma from his days as a an evil overlord. Through Mutombo, Puma later learns that Hanuman knows Darkwing from a chance meeting back when Hanuman was a young evil overlord headed off to war. From their brief meetings and casual encounters at that time, Hanuman became (and still is) deeply in love with Darkwing. Hanuman had hoped that his wild weddings would attract an unsuspecting Darkwing, who lived in the next village over, to appear at his doorstep and allow him to present himself as a man of justice and love.

Hanuman has Puma arrange a reunion between himself and Darkwing. Puma invites Darkwing to have tacos at his house without telling her that Hanuman will also be there. After an initially tired reunion, Hanuman takes Puma and Darkwing to his large bungalow in an attempt to show Darkwing his justice and love. Darkwing, Puma and Hanuman spend the day enjoying all the activities Hanuman can provide and Puma realises Darkwing is still in love with Hanuman. Soon, the two begin an affair. At a luncheon at the Seed estate, Darkwing speaks to Hanuman with such undisguised intimacy that Seed realizes she is in love with Hanuman. Though Seed is himself an adulterer, he is struck by fear by his live-in partner's infidelity. He forces the group to drive into Diamond City and confronts Hanuman in a tower with the group, asserting that he and Darkwing have a history that Hanuman could never understand, while Hanuman tries to have Darkwing admit she never kissed Seed. However, Seed then announces to everyone that Hanuman is a criminal whose fortune comes from blackmailing and other illegal activities. Darkwing begins to turn cold to Hanuman, and Seed sends her back to East Spaghetti with Hanuman, in Hanuman’s tractor, attempting to prove that now Darkwing can’t love Hanuman.

Meanwhile, in the Sand Dune of Ducks, Dogamy has figured out Dogaressa’s affair, which has lead to a fight between the two. This leads Dogaressa to run out into the road, where Hanuman's tractor strikes and kills her. Puma later deduces from Hanuman’s fox that Darkwing, not Hanuman himself, was driving the tractor at the time of the accident. Dogamy, falsely concludes that the driver of the tractor is the secret fiance he suspects Dogaressa had. Armed with a beam sword, Dogamy heads to Seed’s house, where Seed says that the tractor is Hanuman's. Dogamy breaks into Hanuman’s bungalow and fatally murder-strikes Hanuman, and then turns the beam sword on himself. Puma organizes a funeral for Hanuman, but finds that only one of Hanuman's wedding-goers and his estranged brother attend. None of Hanuman's business associates come and Puma finds out that Darkwing and Seed moved away the day after selling out Hanuman. Disillusioned with the East, Puma cuts off his ties to Mutombo and moves back to the South Pacific.
