Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Now that I think about it, the original Lenore can have Foreign Remake if we're going through the Bürger version and not the Allan Poe version.

Also finally someone says that not every suggestion has to be from Japan. At least give other places like Europe a chance.

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

By the way, AzureLegacy has Aria Hale for The Lost Lenore.

What about African, South American and non East-Asian works? They seem pretty neglected and underrepresented...

The Starmen, Divine Ambiguous Robots (Blue Starman, Last Starman, Starman Jr., Starman Super, Starman Deluxe, Ghost of Starman, Final Starman)

The many types of Starmen (Art by Doctor-G)
  • Intermediate Deities as a whole. Individually range from Lesser Deities to Intermediate Deities.
  • Symbol: Their Chest Insignias
  • Theme Songs: Battle Against a Machine, Otherworldly Foe
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Ambiguous Robots, Psychic Powers, Mascot Mook
  • Domains: Robots, Aliens, Organics, Mystery, Evil, Psychic Powers
  • Heralds: The rest of Giygas’ army
  • Superior: Giygas
  • Allies: Porky Minch, Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, Lavos, the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, Giygas’ allies
  • Enemies: The Chosen Four, Lucas, The Silencerz
  • Odd Relationship: The Smash Fighters
  • Servants of the evil Giygas, this alien race are capable of PSI powers and are his elite troops, with other members composing of UFOs, Octobots, Mooks (not like a minion variety), Barbots, R7038, Atomic Power Robots, etc. This race of aliens is currently debated whether they are robots or organic. The former says that their robotic speech suggests this. On the other hand, the Rust Promoter appearing to have no effect on them and seems to be capable of taking Sudden Guts Pills as well as having a member of their ranks called the Ghost of Starman, makes them an enigmatic race. These two cases both have convincing evidence.
  • Arrived to the Pantheon thanks to the aid of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. They made themselves known by launching a full-scale invasion including not only themselves, but also their heralds, which happen to be the rest of Giygas’ army. Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, who happened to remember that there was previously only one Starman in the Pantheon, proceeded to thwart the invasion with some help from other deities, but thanks to Nekron, it’s unlikely that they will be going away for a while.
  • As they don’t really have a temple, the Starmen are really hard to keep track of. Sometimes they take over the temples of others to aid Giygas and even recreated Stonehenge Base in the Pantheon at one point. Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo put a stop to this, but still, it’s impressive that they can accomplish these things considering the amount of beings in the Pantheon that happen to be far stronger then they are.

I’m plotting my schemes wherever I go! They’re perfect in every way…

Cobra Bubbles, God of Embarrassing Last Names

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cobra_bubbles.jpg
  • House: Naming Convention (House of Naming)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His "Cobra" Knuckle Tattoos
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Baritone and Scary Black Man Still With The Surname Bubbles (And First Name Cobra), Bald Of Awesome, Brutal Honesty, Was An Antagonist, But Just Doing His Job, Sympathetic, If Not All That Friendly, The Men in Black, Reasonable Authority Figure
  • Domains: The CIA, Social Workers, Intimidation, Investigation, Extraterrestrials
  • Herald: Shush/Experiment 324note
  • Keeping tabs on: Jumba's Experiments, any extraterrestrial activity in Hawaii, Necrozma, The Ultra Beasts, the Extraterrestrials house (especially) Roger the Alien
  • Allies: Lilo and Sitch, Agent K and Agent J, Conrad S Hauser and Snake Eyes, Mary Poppins and the rest of the Heroic Protectors Of Family, The Blorg Community, The Silencerz, the Grand United Alliance of Good
  • Headbutting Heroes with: Stan Smith and Avery Bullock
  • Enemies: Hamsterviel, Boris the Animal, Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness, Zim, evil and invasive aliens in general, The Child Abuse Supporters
  • Opposes: Abusive Parents on principle
  • Uncertain on: The SCP Foundation
  • Cobra Bubbles is a stern social worker and supposedly former CIA agent concerned with Lilo and Nani's relationship. While gruff and not all that friendly, he means well for her. However it's not just family environments he has to worry about, what with the arrival of the alien Stitch. Having had experience with extraterrestrials in the past, and secretly a member of a Men In Black-type organization, he becomes an important player in the strange alien occurrences in Hawaii.
  • Yes, his surname is "Bubbles". He admits it's kind of embarrassing, which is why he prefers to only be referred by his first name of Cobra. This doesn't stop him from being badass. The dude was able to convince an invading alien force to spare Earth by lying and saying that insects were an endangered species. Cobra's skill in defending the Earth shows he's a brilliant operator, and a strong asset to the GUAG.
  • If you want to be more specific on the time he saved the world, it's because he convinced them mosquitos were endangered. The fact he made such a bold-faced lie and convinced them is all the more impressive. This happened in Roswell, though in 1973 rather than 1947. However he did end up finding Bender's head buried in the ground from the incident. Having been informed of the time traveling of that Roswell incident, he let Bender's head continue his rest in the ground to avoid a nasty time paradox.
  • It's not known if the organization he works for is literally the Men in Black, but in the pantheon they are for all intents and purposes. He's keeping tabs on the House of Extraterrestrials for them. Naturally this makes him an enemy of any hostile alien, and this also includes Zim. He's not an idiot and sees past his Paper-Thin Disguise, nor does he think that "because Zim's an idiot, he doesn't pose a threat to mankind" because he's seen evidence that he can be.
  • Due to his role in extraterrestrial phenomenon and First Contact scenarios, Cobra is also working alongside the Silencerz, who are another top-secret US government that's capable of combating hostile aliens. He is also working with the Blorg Community to expand humanity's reach and eye in case of alien threats.
  • Much of Cobra Bubbles' attention in matters of the extraterrestrial are on Hawaii. By extension, this includes Alola. As such, he is on full alert when it comes to the Ultra Beasts, and especially Necrozma after their invasion there. Fortunately Necrozma has found its one true place with Nebby and the unascended Gen VII protagonist, however it still posed a threat only comparable to Jumba's greatest experiments.
  • Though he didn't have enough connections to make Shush a god, he was able to make him his herald. For those in the know, Shush was one of Jumba's experiments meant for eavesdropping. Now he's an espionage agent for the CIA, which Cobra actually still works with. He wasn't exactly pleased to learn that Avery Bullock and Stan Smith have maintained their job, however when not goofing around or distracted by their own emotions they can be surprisingly effective. He's willing to work with them, but wishes they could be more competent and often plays the Straight Man to their wacky antics.
  • He is keeping watch out for Stan because he makes sure Roger doesn't misbehave too much. Of course, he can't let Stan know he knows about Roger being an alien. On Roger, he has made it clear to him he is watching and the moment he proves himself a significant enough threat to the safety of the human race, he will tell every CIA operative of his alien nature. Any attempts Roger made at intimidating Cobra failed and has made it a point that he has tangled with worse.
    • As part of his connections to the CIA, he is an enemy of Cobra and an ally of the G.I Joes.
  • Cobra still takes his job as a social worker seriously, and as such he makes frequent visits to the House of Family, especially the Family Dysfunctions wing. Immediately he was enraged by the Child Abuse Supporters and has sworn to bring them to justice, along with destroying their faction. To start with, he's buffed support for the Heroic Protectors of Family and made it clear he's watching any abusive parent in the pantheon. Among the Heroic Protectors of Family he works the closest with Mary Poppins.
  • Cobra Bubbles might have some connection to the SCP Foundation given their closeness to the Men in Black. He's not confirming or denying that, but he does admit he is researching the extraterrestrial SCPs. So far he's only really keeping checks on SCP-1171-1. Though racist, Beauremont is a non-issue.

Jacob Luke "Jake" Long, God of Were-Dragons (The American Dragon)

  • Portfolio: Weredragon through Dragon Ancestry, The Hero (Knight in Sour Armor and Pragmatic Hero type), Cocky, Shirks Responsibilities But Noble And Heroic, Heroic Red Dragons, Half-Caucasian, Half-Chinese, Big Eater, Beware the Nice Ones, Protagonist Title
  • Domains: Dragons, Heroism, Teenagers, Shapeshifters
  • Allies: Lilo and Stitch, Spyro the Dragon, Harry Potter, Io, Bahamut, Crossbreed Priscilla, Ryu(Breath of Fire), Peter Parker/Spider Man, Avatars Wan, Aang and Korra, Zuko, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Lloyd Garmadon
  • On good terms with: Benevolent members of the House of Otherness, most dragons really
  • Friendly Rival: Danny Phantom
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Daenerys Targaryen (enemies with TV incarnation), The Dovahkiin
  • Enemies: Acnologia, dragon hunters in general, Tiamat, Ripto, The Sorceress, Melkor, Smaug, Aerys II Targaryen, Voldemort, Kaido, The Shredder
  • Jake Long is an at first unassuming Chinese-American teenager living in New York. In truth, he's a fire-breathing dragon who's job is to protect a secret world of magical creatures. The first American Dragon, he is said to be The Chosen One, though as a slacker teen he has a lot to learn. He gets it from his mom and her father. Normally he's in human form, but can transfer into a dragon.
  • The Weredragon trope was considered for Acnologia, however Jake decried this choice since Acnologia is a depraved beast who despises dragon and human alike. The fact that he hunts dragons only increased the American Dragon's ire towards him. It was Lilo and Stitch who ultimately proposed he gets the trope, as they had teamed up to deal with Morpholomew/Experiment 316.
  • Jake's ascension was a boon to the Otherness house, due to his role in guarding and protecting the magical creatures of an unseen world, though it remains taxing on his school life. Harry Potter has helped fill in some of his time protecting the magical world so he doesn't exhaust himself. Jake's travels eventually led him to meet another New York superhero, Peter Parker, who can relate to the stress of his role as Dragon Guardian given his own bad luck and responsibilities being a superhero.
  • The American Dragon wasn't happy to learn there were a number of fantastic racists who would want to see him dead. Ripto hates dragons in general, even ones with a human form. Voldemort considers Jake Long both a muggleborn and a "filthy half-breed". None of them revolted Jake as much as the Sorceress, who's plan of becoming immortal involves ripping off the wings of baby dragons. He is also an enemy of Kaido, due to being a Weredragon who's desire to spark the biggest war the world has ever seen is insane.
  • Jake is against dragon hunters by principle, and hopes the wish to destroy them all will mean the Huntsclan won't enter the pantheon. However he makes an exception for the Dovahkiin, at least to a degree. Despite his memetic hatred of dragons, the Dovahkiin only goes after malicious dragons and not ones outside the The Elder Scrolls verse as he doesn't have the same dreaded factor. He does have bad experiences with dragons as a whole so he only works with Jake to counter-act evil dragons. He'll be there if and/or when the Dark Dragon arrives.
  • As nobody knows where said Dark Dragon comes from, Jake wondered if he was a pupil of Melkor. Melkor claimed he was behind his turn to darkness, which was believable, but eventually his vanity led him to boast he is the progenitor of all dragons and that he is Jake's rightful ruler. Io stepped in and informed that other than possibly having a role in the Dark Dragon he's full of it. Jake naturally opposes someone as malignant as the first Dark Lord, and came to recognize Io as the true progenitor of dragons. He and Bahamut were proud to see Jake managed to make it to the pantheon.
  • While usually not as bad as the head of the Huntsclan, Shredder is still a villain who corrupted a ninja clan for his evil ends and that gives Jake bad memories of the Huntsclan. Fortunately for Jake he has the TMMT for backup, who can even turn into dragons themselves in one universe. Jake can also count for back up in the Dragon Warrior Po, and the quarter dragon Lloyd Garmadon.
  • There were a number of evil dragons like Tiamat or Smaug that Jake considers a threat to the magical world, however there are more benevolent, neutral or less bad dragons who considered him a great addition to their sub-house. Even Bowser was pleased, and in spite of sometimes fighting Jake Long when he uses magic for evil purposes like kidnapping the Sprixies they sometimes work together, especially when someone proves Eviler than Thou. Jake's a more straight ally with Spyro the Dragon.
  • His Dragon Ancestry was a point of interest for the Targaryens. Jake theorizes that their association with dragons and unique royal abilities are because Valyrians have actual dragons in their family tree. He wasn't happy around the likes of the Mad King Aerys, who in his delusions believed that burning down King's Landing with wildfire would have him reborn as a dragon. His daughter Daenerys was more level-headed and impressed by Jake, however the American Dragon is careful with her as while she has good intentions she can be...ruthless. Her TV incarnation's Face–Heel Turn has made that version an enemy of Jake Long.
  • He and Danny Phantom are rivals, albeit friendly ones. Other gods have noticed the comparisons: they're half-otherworldly beings who can shapeshift to that form, teenage superheroes and they help deal with supernatural/otherworldly threats. A simulation was made to determine in a no holds-bar fight who'd win. The simulation concluded Danny would make the winning strategy of overshadowing Jake and blasting him into a ghost.
  • Jake would rather not mention the time his grandfather wanted to hook him up with a younger version of his mom when he time traveled back to 1986. Marty McFly and Philip J Fry said that "it could've gone worse". He got Marty, but when taking a look at Fry's trope he felt a bit queasy and reaffirmed not wanting to mention said incident.
  • As Jake is a protector of two worlds, he works closely with all versions of the Avatar. He is also friends with Zuko, given dragons are the symbol of the Fire Nation and he learned the true firebender style from dragons.
"He's cool he's hot like a frozen sun. He's young, he's fast, he's the chosen one."

Working on a Mera/Arthur (former as Apparently Human Merfolk; latter shifted to Lord of the Ocean) reworking. IIRC I got approval for it, but at any rate it's only in my sandbox.

What do you guys think about Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle) as God of Avant-Garde Metal?

[up][up]That was already discussed at length (basically it's fine because the mammoth character is the leader) and nobody objected to the whole herd taking the trope.

@azul - Abstaining on a merge between Aquaman and Mera, until I check and see others' thoughts about it.

I do know about Mike Patton to some extent as I'm a Metalhead, but rules are rules at the end of the day, so you'd have to explain why Mike fits Avant-Garde Metal.

[down] Seconded.

Put Aquaman and Mera together under Apparently Human Merfolk. They're only two people and married besides, so it doesn't seem like it would be a huge effort to make one profile out of them.

  • Her fire breath can incinerate ghosts, as Farquaad can attest to during his interim as one. As such, she's earned the enmity of all malevolent ghosts and the fear from some of them as well as the more ambivalent ones.
  • Dislikes the dragonslayers in the Pantheon, who are much more formidable than the knights of before. She just wants to life her life in peace with Donkey, who has asked for help in protecting his family from such people.

  • The fanbase can be an incredibly fickle thing. It doesn't matter what your alignment is, someone will find a way to somehow rationalize you to be the opposite, be you good or bad, and successfully convince others of this ideal.
    • During the early days of the Pantheon, due to being the Trope Namers, two of the most prominent classmates in Harry Potter's life, Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy, ascended to the Pantheon some time after Harry himself was secured a place there, and represented the two ways fans can warp their perception of a character's alignment.
  • As for who he is, Ron was Harry Potter's very first friend in the Wizarding World. having met during their first trip on the Hogwarts Express
  • Ron did not know what to expect when he first ascended, but he did not expect to be met with such… vehement polarization.
  • Given that the movies are the most common image of Ron, not many know his original book feat(ure)s, like how he actually has more insightful moments (plus some that got attributed to Hermione), he's more shrewd and competent than most think, and that in the book it was Hermione who panicked at the Devil's Snare while it was he who got her to focus on remembering its weakness.
  • His Arachnophobia stems from young Fred and George transfiguring Ron's teddy bear into a giant spider. While her fears extend to more than just arachnids, he gets along with Misty in regards to their phobias.
  • Is actually good at mimicking voices, including Wormtail, and even Parseltongue to open the Chamber of Secrets (though it also seems to help that the chamber entrance was detecting phonemes rather than language).
  • Established a "Disliked Heroes Anonymous" club for… well, heroes disliked by their audiences.
  • While he was just as dependent on Hermione on homework as Harry was, he still has a great tactical mind, and is well-versed in wizard folklore and culture even she doesn't know.
  • Speaking of Hermione, there are those who wonder just how they actually started getting together.
    • It began at first year during their adventures with Harry, starting at the battle against the Troll at the Girl's Bathroom when the two boys had to save her.
    • His affection for her were made manifest at second year, with jealousy towards Gilderoy Lockhart, him defending her against Draco for his insult, and his greater distress than Harry's upon discovering her petrified.
    • In third year, there was some tension due to her Crookshanks going after Scabbers (before he was eventually revealed to he Peter Pettigrew) but they made up thanks to Hagrid. He even had the cojones to stand up to Snape when he called Hermione an "insufferable know-it-all".
    • In fourth year, romantic feelings for one another began to grow and become more obvious, and harbored jealousies on each others' crushes at the time (Fleur Delacour and Viktor Krum).
    • His inability to realize and act on his feelings would frustrate Hermione all the way to fifth year, though she does kiss him before his first Quidditch game as Keeper.
    • Sixth year would be a trying time when he was the only one in the trio to be passed over by Professor Slughorn. His learning of Hermione snogging Krum back in fourth year, and her "lack of faith" in his ability after Harry pretended to spike his drink with Felix Felicis, worsened things. This resulted in a brief fling with Lavender Brown that thankfully did not last long, though he and Hermione made up after he was accidentally poisoned with mead on his birthday. He also comforted her as she wept during Dumbledore's funeral.
    • As for seventh year, they danced together at Bill Weasley and Fleur's wedding, he comforted her several times during the Horcrux hunt, he offered to vouch for Hermione as his cousin when they were told of the Ministry's crackdown on Muggleborns, and he tried in vain to get Bellatrix to torture him instead of Hermione when they were captured. And during the Battle of Hogwarts, his concern for the house-elves (of whom she had been fighting for their rights since fourth year) eventually culminated in her giving him the Big Damn Kiss.
  • Many prayers in his temple are death threats due to his relationship with Hermione, and the misguided females at Draco's temple built an annex in his temple to diss Ron.
    • Many of these threats eventually stopped coming, namely due to the wrath of Harry and Hermione, especially the latter.
  • The only thing he and Draco can agree on is their hatred of Ebony. And it's worse now that she's here, and their neighbor to boot (though more Draco than Ron due to the Slytherin sharing Halls with her).
  • Was joyed to see his twin brothers ascend, especially Fred, who had died during the Second Wizarding War. At times, whenever the hate to his temple becomes a bit much for him, he does part-time work at their joke shop, having taken Fred's place as co-manager in the mortal realm.
  • Encountered another Harry Potter one day who was being a bit too chummy with Draco (and having seen him before at the joke shop, plus having heard of him through Harry and Hermione). This Harry had nothing to say to Ron however given they never became friends in his timeline, and given how pretentious this Harry can get, Ron could see why. Rational Harry also has trouble comprehending what Hermione sees in Ron to eventually marry him.
    • Rational Harry has also expressed desire in seeing if Draco can learn to has enough happy thoughts of his parents that can render him able to summon a Patronus just like his world's Draco. Ron and the Slytherin were both skeptical of this working, but Rational Harry took it as a challenge.
  • Having been regarded as the most incompetent in his trio, he can relate to Akko Kagari in regards to being seen as inferior, even though most of that was just in a relative level and much of it being in his own mind. He and the rest of Hogwarts also harbor interest in Luna Nova Academy and its representatives.

  • Respected By: Algol
  • Sophitia Alexandra was once a woman who showed a strong devotion towards the Greek Pantheon. Initially, she was set for a normal, yet happy, life when she married Rothion. However, fate would intervene when the cursed blade, Soul Edge, was beginning to resurface, prompting several warriors from across the world to begin searching for the legendary blade for their own desires and goals. In Sophitia's case, she was contacted by Hephaestus, who warned her of the sword's malicious and destructive nature and personally blessed her with the divine will of the Greek Gods. Sophitia was also granted the Omega Sword and Elk Shield before choosing to go out and look for Soul Edge, battling countless foes and Malfested, beings who were corrupted by Soul Edge, before stumbling upon the current wielder of the blade, Cervantes de Leon, an undead pirate who sought to use the blade to assert control over the seas and the world. Sophitia and Cervantes duelled viciously, with the latter gaining the upper hand before the former received the unexpected aid of the ninja, Taki. However, Sophitia was struck with a serious blow from Cervantes, causing a shard of Soul Edge to be embedded into her body, though it wore the pirate off to the extent where Taki was able to kill him. Taki then took to treating Sophitia's wounds and removing the sharks in her body before dropping her to her own family while Taki took to departing to Japan.
    • This, however, was not the end of Soul Edge, and things would take a turn for the worse. A being known as Nightmare emerged and used Soul Edge to carve a way of carnage and destruction. Around the same time, Sophitia bore two children with Rothion; Pyrrha and Patroklos. She still took to reentering the battlefield to combat the Azure Knight, though her younger sister, Cassandra, also decided to enter the battle to reach Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, at one point, stealing the Omega Sword and Elk Shield to prevent Sophitia from taking another burden in protecting the world and doing it herself. Regardless, Sophitia would venture out regardless, but things took a turn for the worst when Tira kidnapped her daughter, Pyrrha and subjected her to Soul Edge's influence. Blackmailed and left with little choice, Sophitia was pressured into siding with Nightmare's forces to ensure Pyrrha's safety. Siegfried eventually managed to slay Nightmare, but destroying the source of Soul Edge also ended up killing Pyrrha, after which Sophitia decided to use up the remaining shards of Soul Edge in her body to resurrect her daughter at the cost of her own life.
  • However, in a new timeline, it seems as if fate is now playing with events more differently. Though Sophitia is destined to conceive a child at some point, it still not going to stop her from fulfilling her duty to serve her gods and to save the world from Nightmare and Soul Edge. That said, Cassandra had become far more aware of the events that are to happen in the old timeline and has become far more assertive in preventing her family's tragedy from happening again.
    • Incidentally, these events also attracted the attention of the Greek Gods and, by extension, the Trope Pantheons. They took heed to the destructive nature and conclusion of the old timeline and recognized that the warriors in the new timeline are determined to make different this time. With Sophitia being one of the most staunch and enduring of the cast, she was among the first to be properly recognized and given a place in the Pantheon. Though she was technically yet to become a mother, her actions in the old timeline were still displays of incredible valor and familial love and it was certain that her new timeline version will retain those traits. Hence, Sophitia was crowned to represent mothers who will enter the battlefield if it means protecting or proving herself worthy for her children, courtesy of Hephaestus. And such a position was one of the most honoured to be given, especially for someone like Sophitia.
  • As befitting of her position, Sophitia is one of the most respected and beloved residents of the House of Family, with many being eager to to talk and learn some combat techniques and wisdom from her. She is willing to give them the advice and practice necessary, though she's not willing to want too much praise from her fans and admirers, only stating that she did what she did because it was a divine duty.
    • Being a fierce warrior and a more devoted mother, Sophitia is not afraid to call out on those who indulge in abuse and neglect. Quickly enough, she came to directly oppose the Child Abuse Supporters, especially Lady Tremaine for her treatment towards Cinderella and for not really doing an adequate job on raising her two biological daughters either, a perspective that Tremaine herself scoffs. On a more serious note, Sophitia finds Sofia Lamb to be the most reprehensible out of the established evil mothers in the Pantheon. While Sophitia took it upon herself to destroy Soul Edge to keep the world safe and would do anything to keep her children safe, even if it meant working with those she opposed, Sofia abused and used her own daughter, Elenore, whilst fairing about creating an ideal Utopia when it was anything but when she is willing to sacrifice Elenore to reach her goals. Being I. The same Hall doesn't improve matters either, with Sophitia and Sofia being neck-and-neck towards one another. It's clear that they can't stand each other, which prompts a lot of other deities to break up any potential in-fighting that can happen between them.
  • A devout believer of the ancient Greek Pantheon, it's a common sight to see Sophitia take visitations to the House of Religion and Faith, where she would offer her prayers and make contact with the very gods that she worships. Unsurprisingly, Hephaestus expresses outright admiration and respect for her, seeing Sophitia as a being that represents the best of her kind and religion, both by personality and by her prowess and determination. Even Zeus expresses some respect for her and is one of the few women that the King of the Gods will not act like a jerk towards, let alone make incredibly questionable moves and actions towards. Still, she's not exactly happy with how Zeus has done some unforgiving deeds and that there's still a lot to do before he can properly earn her approval. Zeus is sure to remedy that at some point and does acknowledge that the gravitas of his actions means that his redemption is indeed a long road.
    • To her surprise, Hephaestus is yet to be ascended into the Pantheon, especially given how much of a notable pres nice the Greek Gods already possess. Sophitia had decided to put in some good faith that someday, Hephaestus will make it in and be officially recognized. To make up for this, she takes community service in her own fashion, attending Hephaestus's company in her home world while trying to honour his reputation in the Pantheon. It'll be a long road, but Sophitia will carry on.
  • While she naturally opposes Soul Edge for its evil nature and for corrupting and ruining so many innocent lives, an extra sense of tragedy is also thrown in when it turns out that Soul Calibur itself is not as virtuous nor wise as it made itself out to be. If anything, Sophitia began to detest the supposedly "holy sword" just as much for refusing to see anything possessed by Soul Edge as anything other than monsters to be slaughtered, Pyrrha included. The fact that it goaded her son, Patroklos, into killing his sister further sours that notion, alongside Soul Calibur using the physical appearance of Sophitia upon taking the guise of Elysium. Needless to say, Sophitia only sees Soul Calibur as an enemy, which is further highlighted by how Cassandra herself was able to see through the sword's deceptiveness and shrewd nature, which only prompted her to try destroying both it and Soul Edge.
    • During her final days, Sophitia would come to learn of the legendary Hero King, Algol, who was responsible for the creation of Soul Calibur. While he may have indirectly caused a catalyst of events that bought upon death, misery and despair towards many, Algol himself was driven by grief after accidentally killing his own son when the latter was corrupted by Soul Edge and used a shard of the Cursed Sword to forge Soul Calibur under the risk of his own soul. However, despite the two having fueled with one another, Algol has come to see Sophitia with great respect, due to her pure nature and her determination of wanting to protect and look after her children. Hearing of her sacrifice only furthers the Hero King's admiration towards her. Sophitia feels sympathetic for Algol and, as a result, the two are in amicable terms with one other for now.
  • Kratos was a controversial figure for Greek ethnic deities for a very long time. It's one thing that he suffered abuse, neglect and being disrespected by many, especially the Greek Gods, but then he ended up redirecting all of his rage I to killing most of the Pantheon, Hephaestus and Zeus included. Sophitia initially disliked the Ghost of Sparta for quite some time until further circumstances revealed that Kratos was unsatisfied and felt regretful and ashamed for his past sections. This prompted Sophitia to approach him, where the two actually managed to understand one another in taking in a lot of burden. Like Algol beforehand, Kratos came to respect Sophitia for her love towards her children, though he chose to keep himself distant. While Sophitia hasn't fully forgiven the former God of War for his actions, she decided that it was best if he took the time to reflect on his actions and prove himself capable of redemption. That said, Kratos isn't really on board with Sophitia still being devoted to the Greek Gods, most of whom are still not over Kratos killing them (though he does express some sympathy towards Hephaestus to an extent, given that his last actions of trying to kill Kratos was really only driven by the fact that he wanted to protect Pandora, whom he saw as a daughter).
    • Later on, Sophitia would learn of Kratos's son, Atreus, who ended up ascending into the Pantheon a little later. Sophitia heard about Calliope during the one time she spoke to Kratos, so Atreus's presence was surprising. In more shocking news, she was stunned to see that Kratos was doing the best he could to teach his son in becoming a morally better man than he was and with decent results. Sophitia was happy to see that Kratos was making progress in wanting to be a better man and a good father. In fact, when she met Atreus, the two got along pretty well and with enough convincing from Atreus's side, Kratos decided to trust Sophitia enough to allow her to look after his son for some time. Given that both were loving parents in their own way, this was the most he could have done to showing respect to Sophitia, which she reciprocated.
  • She's known for being one of the more notable Greek deities in the Pantheon who isn't an actual deity either. It helps her to stand out more among them, in more ways than one. Though she's not exactly the kind of woman who is all to interested in the concept of Fanservice, not to mention she's more fixated on family matters and trying to stop Soul Edge's influences. Many have noted that she doesn't get the irony of her not caring about her looks when everyone else seems to think she's really attractive.
  • Her and Wonder Woman have a great deal of respect and camaraderie towards one a other. It helps that both of them are warriors with Greek influences, with Wonder Woman once being a demigoddess that was descended from the old Greek Pantheon. Being good friends, Wonder Woman took Sophitia to Themyscira where she was scheduled to take up combat against several Amazonian warriors to prove her worth as a warrior blessed by the gods. She held her own pretty well and gave a good fight against Wonder Woman herself, despite losing the fight. Regardless, she earned the other Amazonians' respect and Wonder Woman took to seeing Sophitia as an honorary member of her kind.
    • From the same universe as Wonder Woman, there was a possible scenario where Darkseid, a New God who ruled the dystopic planet of Apokolips would kill the Greek Pantheon as a means to power himself up and with the help of his daughter, Grail. And with the Greek gods being representatives in the Pantheon, this also meant that they would be targets once again. Sophitia immediately took this as a sign to oppose the Lord of Tyranny for his actions and for being willing to target the other mythological god's beyond just the Greek versions. As for Darkseid himself, he couldn't care less about Sophitia, but in case she becomes too much of a threat and presence, he is more than willing to challenge her or to use her loved ones as leverage in exchange for humiliating Sophitia in the most terrible way possible.
  • While not familiar with Supeeheroics, Sophitia still came to become good allies with Statesman, thanks to the latter being imbued with the powers of Greek gods and using them to do good. That said, Statesman can be rather harsh and critical when it comes to the job and effectiveness of other heroes, but luckily, he sees Sophitia as a good example of a paragon and sincerely wishes her well. That, and he's not going to egg her on the fact that she worked with Nightmare at one point. Statesman became a father at one point as well, so it's possible that he would have been in a very hard position if his daughter, Miss Liberty, and his granddaughter, Ms. Liberty, were put in the same situation as Sophitia and Pyrrha were.
  • During her time in the House of Family, Sophitia came across Tyrion, himself a great paragon, in his case towards the High Elves of Ulthuan. Both have strong familial instincts and as a result, the two got along. However, what really got them talking was when Sophitia could out about the Widowmaker, a sword forges by the Elven War God, Khaine, whose possession is said to corrupt the mindset of any that wields it. Conversely, Tyrion was shocked to realize just how similar the Widowmaker and Soul Edge were, though in the case of the latter, Soul Edge was a truly evil being that needed to be stopped, whereas the Widowmaker can only be hidden away for the time being. Out of concern, Sophitia does try to look after Tyrion incase his younger twin brother, Teclis, isn't around. Though he may be haughty and brash like the other High Elves, Sophitia is one of the few hand that he can respect. That, and the two have united in opposing Morathi, who was a major influence in tempting Tyron to take up the Widowmaker and poison his mind during the End Times. That, and she's a wicked, shrewd witch whose manipulations and deceptions towards her son, Malekith does not score her points for good parenting. If anything, it only serves to further Sophitia exhibiting her enmity towards the Hag Sorceress as she is a threat who will not back down in reaching her goals.
My resolve... Will never falter!

Wanted to just bring forth some of older rework profiles

The Time Goddess, Goddess of Forced Level-Grinding and Level Reset (Sage, Professor Kenja, The Capricious Goddess, She Who Controls Time, She Who Guides Them)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/time_goddess_2.png
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A statue of herself holding an hourglass
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Level Grinding, Turning Back the Clock, The Love of Money Above All Things, Observation of RPG Tropes, Gold and White Are Divine, Money Fetish
  • Domains: Time, Money, Deities
  • Allies: Inconsequentia, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Flash, Red Mage, Chronos, Palutena, The Absolute Victory Unlosing Ranger, Bell Cranel, any hero with lots of money
  • Enemies: Evil Overlords (though there are exceptions), those who try to blow up everything (especially the Grand United Alliance of Destruction)
  • The Time Goddess has the power to control time. As in, she can basically do anything with time, albeit in close present. Her main purpose is to accelerate any given hero's levelling progress and rewind time, albeit she can only wind it back 30 seconds (even if 30 seconds can be almost an entire day).
  • None of her services are done for free. The mounting pile of gold in her chamber suggests that the Time Goddess has a lot of customers, most likely frustrated MMORPG players who just want to max out their levels so that they can play the endgame content and start exploring raid dungeons.
  • Another aspect of her powers is that after her magic ends, the person's level is reset to the level they started at. So even if someone can go from level 1 to a high level in no time, it is a temporal solution. She is willing to let the person keep their equipment they earned, but she will take away most of their money.
  • It's unknown if she's the very same Time Goddess who assisted Link during his "three-day" quest in Termina.
  • She seems to enjoy the company of Palutena, as both of them have a similar sense of fashion and do like to mess with their selected ones, but they will help out in extreme occasions.
  • After she ascended, she has been trying to place Goddess Statues as a way to get other god's money help them out in need. She is considering re-creating the portable Goddess Statues, this time having them actually work.
  • Her ability to control time is tied to a thing called Timestream, which is sort of life essence what flows through all living things and the world itself. Because of this, she can actually bring people back to life by manipulating the Timestream.
  • Red Mage has repeatedly tried to use her services to get the right stat spread he wants with minimal success. She has also stopped trying to give him advice how to progress with anything since she knows that he will just think of some crazy plan regardless of her advice.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
