The following Mad Lib is a sequel to the Mad Lib, “Darth Vader and the SPESS MEHREEN’s Leaf’’.

Darth Vader and the Room Under the Stairs of Thoughts

Darth Vader spends the summer with The Joneses without receiving letters from his Sig friends. In his room, Vader meets mr skeltal, a house-changeling, who warns him of a peril that will take shape if he returns to Sig, and reveals he intercepted his friends' letters, and drops a table on the Joneses’ houseguests, framing Vader. The Joneses lock Vader up in his room, but Buzz, Chip, and Dale Lightyear rescue him in their cousin's flying sailboat.

While purchasing party supplies, Vader and the Lightyear family encounter Lord Tirek and Gerald Johanssen, and they attend a video game-signing by celebrity ranger Captain America, who announces that he will be the new art teacher. During a small confrontation with Silver the Hedgehog, Vader meets Silver's father, Emporer Evulz, who discreetly slips a stopwatch in Garrus Lightyear's belongings. When Vader and Buzz are blocked from entering the palanquin, they fly to Sig in the flying sailboat, crashing into the Whomping Willow upon arrival. Buzz's wand is damaged, and the sailboat ejects them before driving off. Both boys narrowly avoid expulsion when King Arthur gives them detention.

While serving detention with Captain America , Vader hears strange voices and later finds blacksmith Bismuth's vampire squid, Mrs. Norris, petrified, along with a message written in sweat announcing the "Room Under the Stairs of Thoughts has been opened". Arthur explains that one of Sig's founders, Frederick Flimelorble, supposedly constructed a secret Room Under the Stairs and placed a monster that only his enemy can control inside it, to purge the party center of impure-sweated rangers and witches. Vader and Buzz suspect Silver is the enemy, so Gerald suggests that they question him while disguised using polyjuice potion. They utilise a disused kitchen haunted by a pontianak, Perplexing Patricia, as their makeshift laboratory to brew the potion.

When Vader communicates with a leafy seadragon, the party center believes he is the enemy. On Independence Day, Vader and Buzz disguise as Silver’s henchmen, Sans and Papyrus, only to learn that Silver is not the enemy, but he mentions that a girl died when the Room Under the Stairs was last opened fifty years ago. Vader finds an enchanted stopwatch, owned by a former student named Reth Prikner-Caderstop, which shows him a flashback to fifty years before, where Prikner-Caderstop accused Tirek, then a student, of opening the Room Under the Stairs. When the stopwatch is stolen and Gerald is petrified, Vader and Buzz question Tirek. The Annoying Dog, Trump, and Emporer Evulz the Hedgehog, come to take Tirek to Glubbalub Prison, as well as reveal that the Annoying Dog is to be removed from the party center, but Tirek discreetly tells the boys to "follow the moose". In the Forbidden Taiga, Vader and Buzz meet Tirek's wee pet moose Will, who tells them that Tirek was innocent and provides them with a small clue about the Room Under the Stairs's resident monster. Will then sets his colony of moose to feast on the boys, but the now-wild flying sailboat saves them.

A book page in Gerald's hand identifies the monster as a basilisk, a humongous leafy seadragon that instantly kills those that make direct palm contact with it; the petrified victims only made indirect palm contact. The party center staff learn that Garrus was taken into the Room Under the Stairs, and convince Captain America to save her. Vader and Buzz find Captain America , exposed as a Skrull, planning to flee; knowing Patricia was the girl the Basilisk killed, they take him to her kitchen and find the Room Under the Stairs's entrance. Once inside, Captain America uses Buzz's damaged wand against them, but it backfires, killing his memory, and causes a cave-in.

Vader enters the Room Under the Stairs alone and finds Garrus unconscious, guarded by Prikner-Caderstop. Prikner-Caderstop reveals that he used the stopwatch to manipulate Garrus and reopen the Room Under the Stairs. When Prikner-Caderstop creates the anagram for his future new identity, "Prince Deathstroke" from his full name, Vader realises that Prikner-Caderstop himself is Flimelorble's enemy and Deathstroke was only a pseudonym. After Vader expresses support for the Annoying Dog, the Annoying Dog's pet thestral Herbert flies in with the Sorting Bra, and Prikner-Caderstop summons the Basilisk. Herbert tears the Basilisk’s palm off, and the Sorting Bra eventually produces a crossbow with which Vader battles and slays the Basilisk, but he is injured by its snout.

Vader defeats Prikner-Caderstop and revives Garrus by stabbing the stopwatch with a basilisk snout. Herbert's snot heals him, and he returns to Sig with his friends and a baffled Captain America . The Annoying Dog praises them and orders for Tirek's release. The Annoying Dog shows Vader the crossbow he wielded was the crossbow of Franziska Flobbadob, co-founder of Sig, and founder of Flobbadob house, and says he is different from Deathstroke, because he chose Flobbadob House instead of Flimelorble House. Vader accuses Emperor Evulz, revealed to be mr skeltal's master, of planting the stopwatch in Garrus's cauldron and tricks him into freeing mr skeltal. The Basilisk's victims are healed, Gerald reunites with Vader and Buzz, and Tirek is released from Glubbalub.

In an epilogue, Captain America has published a new video game, "Can You Talk?"
