Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

First draft of G'Huun, The Blood God. So unlike the other established Old Gods, G'Huun was artificially created by the Titans and by accident, so he is technically another science abomination.

Deities related with blood, disease and corruption? And i guess being a huge leech/worm thing might also help narrow some ideas.

G'Huun, God of Sinister White/Red Color Scheme (The Blood God)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ghuun.png
  • Potential House: Color Combinations
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His blood
  • Theme Song: Nazmir
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Eldritch Abomination, Arc Villain for the Zandalari questline, Beware My Stinger Tail, Evil Is Bigger, Evil Sounds Raspy, Accidentally created by the Pantheon, Lamprey Mouth, Sealed Evil in a Can, Introduced much later
  • Domains: Blood, Abominations, Corruption, War, Conflict
  • Allies: The Old Gods, Deathwing, Madame Lazul, Anton Arcane
  • Rivals: Khorne
  • Enemies: Any of the deities from Azeroth that aren't on his side
  • The origins of G'Huun are tricky to explain considering that he is supposed to be an Old God but he was accidentally created by the Titans after trying to figure out how Old Gods actually "tick" and he was the result. Locked up in Uldir, his influence grew to the point that he entered conflict with the Loa of Death that ruled over the land he was sealed and the trolls near his prison started to worship G'Huun as the Blood God. Intending to spread pestilence and rot all over the world, adventurers of the lands of Azeroth banded together to slain the foul creature before he could break out and cause havoc.
  • G'Huun's essence coalesced into the Pantheon, summoned by rogue trolls from Nazmir that entered the Pantheon without permission and unleashed G'Huun in order to finally free the other imprisoned Old Gods. But unfortunately G'Huun was succesfully contained and given the potential threat he posed, was imprisoned in a temple. Given his rather striking and sinister color scheme representing his domain over blood and disease, the Eldritch Abomination officially became part of the Pantheon.

Toto
  • House: Extrovert Characterization
  • [tup]s:
  • Greater God. Borderline Overdeity when empowered by all of Earth's Mana. Intermediate God (as Toto)
  • Symbol: His shell or the Orichalcum Bead.
  • Theme Music: Gamera's Song, Myth (by Bakufu Slump). Eternal Love (for Toto).
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (sometimes Chaotic Good)
  • Portfolio: Turtle Power, Everything's Better with Spinning, Friend to All Children, Gamera can Breathe in Space, Took a Level in Badass, Took a Level in Kindness, Anti-Hero, Playing with Fire, Guardian Entity, Last of His Kind, Genius Bruiser, Good Is Not Nice.
  • Domains: Turtles, Power, Guardians, Mana, Kaiju
  • Heralds: Asagi Kusanagi (Gamera), Toru Aizawa (for Toto)
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Conflicting Opinion: Bowser
  • Disdain for: The Diamonds
  • Ignores: The Satellite of Love Crew, Elvira
  • Gamera was a special guardian monster made by the ancient Atlanteans, whose earlier creations, the Gyaos, went out of control and had to be stopped. Though this particular Gamera was only one of many, he was different in that he was able to bond with Earth and humans giving it strength surpassing that of the rest of his kind, which all perished fighting the Gyaos. Though the Atlanteans ultimately perished to the Gyaos' hunger, Gamera was able to destroy most of them save for a few clutches of eggs which were kept dormant by Earth's mana... Until humanity's activies such as pollution and deforestation weakened the Mana of Earth, reawakening the Gyaos and forcing Gamera to resume his duties to stop the Gyaos bonding telepathically with a human girl known as Asagi Kusanagi. Further threats arrived in the form of the alien Legion and the evolved Gyaos, Irys. Though humanity nearly turned on Gamera, the threat of the Gyaos eventually allowed humans to once again cooperate to combat the ever-growing swarms once Irys was stopped.
    • In another Earth in 1973, Gamera was combatting a swarm of Gyaos, but was eventually overwhelmed and forced to self-destruct to save Earth. 33 years later he reincarnated into a new form, known as Toto. Starting as a baby tortoise with the ability to float and shoot small bursts of fire, but the threat of the Gyaos mutant Kaiju Zedus forced Toto to grow in power and size to combat it. Thanks to being raised by a young boy named Toru Aizawa, Toto was able to stop Zedus without self-destructing like the previous Gamera and saved the day before flying away to keep defending Earth.
  • One night in the Pantheon, a mysterious object was flying across the starry skies. Some eyewitnesses assumed that a UFO had arrived, but it turned out not to be the case. Soon it was found out to be Gamera, who had been ascended thanks to his connection and bonds with children as well as his tendency to prioritize their safety above any other human's own. Ocasionally he'll be accompanied by his son/resurrection Toto.
  • A few were taken aback at how Gamera started off as a threat before later becoming a hero. Unlike Godzilla where the shifts between hero and villain happen quite a bit, Gamera being a hero became a consistent trait of his after his fight against Barugon, as Gamera was still quite villainous when he encountered the infamous icy monster. So far, the most evil that has come out of Gamera is his tendency to ignore the destruction and chaos of his fights when he focuses on his duties of fighting the Gyaos which stems from Gamera prioritizing Earth itself above humanity.
    • For Toto, many were interested to hear about the reincarnation cycle of Gamera, as Toto himself is still Gamera but in a new body. Likewise his bond with his now grown human, Toru was a subject of interest for many as it was probably deeper than any other Gamera's due to Toru caring for and raising Toto from birth. Toto himself was eager to follow his "father" into his Pantheon duties, Gamera hopes to train his young sucessor for the scenario that he might have to sacrifice himself for good, recalling how when Godzilla in one world died his energy was absorbed by his son, Godzilla Jr. allowing the latter to grow in strength and size.
  • Many Toku Deities have varying relations with Gamera:
    • In regards to Godzilla, Gamera shares most of the same enemies as him, especially the more alien adversaries or those seeking to harm Earth. When it comes to the Big G's allies, it's pretty much the same, though one ally that Gamera made but isn't Godzilla's was Battra, as Gamera also prioritized protecting the planet's ecosystem over humanity, to the point that he'll have no qualms about causing destruction to civilization if it's needed to stop the Gyaos or any threat to the planet, even if Gamera usually is more careful about collateral damage than Battra. While Godzilla and Gamera once had a showdown that ended in Godzilla's victory, Gamera does not hold it against him and instead has shifted focus to dealing with the various Pantheonic threats.
    • Gamera also befriended Mothra and Mothra Leo for being Earth's defenders and undergoing a similar cycle of death and rebirth, even if they both may object to Gamera's fiercer and more destructive tendencies when dealing with the Gyaos. Gamera himself respects their connection to Earth's ecosystem and how they've tried teaching humans coexistence with the ecosystem and to be more responsible with the planet's ecosystem. Toto himself befriended Leo the most, as both were successors to deceased parents and were much kinder than those who preceded them and their fondness for children which in Toto's case is far more pronounced than the other Gamera.
    • He also allied with other Earth defending Kaiju such as Anguirus, Baragon, and Zilla Junior. For the last one, Toto gets along the most with him due to their status as Kaiju's children who were raised by humans from birth and were changed in many ways due to this upbringing even listening to their human caretaker in many ocassions.
    • He has a somewhat uneasy alliance with Biollante, as while the hybrid Kaiju can be dangerous, her allegiance to Earth makes her far less dangerous of a threat and reasonable to the point that Gamera can talk her down rather than find himself in need of engaging her in battle to stop her.
    • Gamera has also an ally in King Kong, the King of Skull Island also having been in a similar situation to Gamera, as they both are the last of their kind in their respective universe and lost the rest of their species to their eternal Arch-Enemy Kaiju (with the Skullcrawlers being all too similar to the Gyaos serving as further bonding points). While some Pantheon residents and deities have wished for them to also fight, they have declined the offers as neither finds any good reason to fight.
    • As they protect the Universe from various threats and have also organized to fight the recently ascended Gyaos, Gamera found himself with allies in the Ultras of the Pantheon who also found a commonality in their capacity to bond with living beings (and in Gamera's case, even the whole planet Earth). Toto befriended Zero for being the son of a great hero and felt bad for Riku Asakura/Geed given his own complications towards his father, Belial who is an enemy of both Gamera and Toto.
    • As he creates evil Kaiju designed to wreck havok and capable of damaging reality and Earth, Yapool became a great enemy of both Gamera and Toto, especially with his recent interest in the Gyaos, who he sees as valuable assets for his conquests. Gamera has so far even been worried that Yapool's dimension energy which can be reworked to disastrous efects may end in the hands of the grand alliances of evil and destruction.
    • Since they're defenders of Earth, the heroic Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Power Rangers Deities befriended the giant turtle Kaiju. His bond with children was a major deciding factor, even if they can be rather uncomfortable when seeing Gamera's more destructive side that tends to result in civilian casualties, though the fact that this side rarely emerges mitigates any possibility of tensions arising due to it.
  • As his origins lie with the Atlanteans, Gamera was quick to befriend Arthur Curry/Aquaman, as the ruler of modern day Atlantis is a benevolent king that is also concerned with helping the planet. Aquaman was intrigued to hear about the bond that Gamera's kind may develop with a human, moreso due to the fact that only this particular Gamera (and descendants/reincarnations of it by extension) was able to successfully bond with humans which allowed it to become stronger than the rest of his kind.
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were curious to hear about Gamera and his many adventures and were willing to become allies with Gamera after hearing of his heroic exploits and seeing the similarities that allies of theirs, Tokka and Chompy Picasso had. They are still a bit concerned that Gamera's lack of concern for collateral damage when fighting the Gyaos might bring trouble in the future for them and the good-aligned deities Pantheon.
    • Another good-aligned turtle who allied with Gamera was Oogway as the old turtle Kung Fu master's control of Chi and connection to nature through it allowed him to communicate with Gamera. He was pleasantly surprised to hear of Gamera's deep connection to lifeforms on Earth and the planet itself.
  • Because Gamera has fought against a handful of malicious aliens in the past, it didn't come as much of a surprise that he'd get into conflict against the kinds of evil aliens that were in the Pantheon. Most of these antagonistic aliens are as threatening as what Gamera had to go up against in the past, if not more so due to some of the allies and abilities that these aliens have.
    • Alien Empera was one of them, as the Emperor of Darkness desires to erradicate all light in the Universe, which not only would kill off most living beings but would also allow the Gyaos to grow unchecked and unopposed until they have ravaged all that exists. Gamera has been one of Empera's main foes for this reason, even becoming more of an ally to the Ultras in the Pantheon so as to combat the imminent threat that Empera and his forces bring. For similar reasons, he also loathes Ultraman Belial, as his plans to use the Gyaos for his own ends of either conquest or destruction Gamera opposes. Likewise, Yapool, whose energy is inherently harmful to all living beings with a soul, is another of these enemies as well, especially given the possibilities of him working with the Gyaos.
    • Among other aliens stood out the likes of invading forces like the Shroobs, the Daleks, the Tyranids and the Aparoids. Especially in the case of the Tyranids, whose ability to multiply when not controlled is reminiscent of the Gyaos' own self-reproduction abilities. Other evil aliens who stood out were the evil Kryptonians such as Zod who tried conquering Earth.
    • Phazon which is a space infection that destroys entire civilizations is another natural enemy of Gamera as it can potentially destroy Earth if it gets unleashed on it. As he can be considered a Universal plague on the level of Gyaos, Gamera seeks to destroy it completely. For similar reasons, he also opposes the Aparoids as they can infect lifeforms and technology, potentially letting them overrun entire galaxies in the long run, as well as their similarities with the Hive Mind aliens, Legion.
    • As he's tried to turn humanity into cattle for himself, Black Doom became a fierce enemy of Gamera, with Gamera seeking to stop the alien from advancing his goals further in the Pantheon. Other aliens with equally destructive goals who became enemies with Gamera were Evolt and Kilbus althugh they seeked to destroy Earth altogether isntead of consuming the populace and wrecking civilizations, they'll simply consume the energy necessary to strengthen themselves and then destroy the planet which made them great enemies of Gamera, especially Killbus with his Omnicidal Maniac tendencies.
  • As the guardian of the House of Childhood and Adolescence, Gamera has taken it upon himself to protect the children in it from harm. Recently, however, he's made an exception of sorts for Rhoda Penmark, who is a legitimately evil little girl, as such Gamera will only ocasionally protect her out of principle, but will no doubt not make an effort to save her if given an opening for it, Rhoda herself was quite frustrated to hear this as it meant that she could not rely on Gamera for protection. As well as a little girl named Maisie Farange, who is an orphan that has a fascination with turtles, Maisie herself was awed by Gamera and has decided to remain under his care, especially with the wide array of terrifying beasts and evils that inhabit the Pantheon.
  • He really isn't certain what to make of Bowser. On one hand, not only does the Koopa King partake in recreational activities alongside his frenemy Mario, he is a caring father towards his son, who could find the idea of a giant superpowered turtle intriguing. On the other hand, Bowser's attempts at conquest make him a potentially formidable foe for Gamera to fight against if Mario or his friends aren't around to stop Bowser. That said, he's recently thought up of foregoing these complicated thoughts due to the Gyaos' presence increasing his ruthless
  • He befriended Rose Quartz and Steven for having saved their Earth from being destroyed by the Gem Empire and other threats several times. Particularly Rose, who grew a deep connection to Earth and its inhabitants, likewise their allies such as Connie and the other Crystal Gems befriended the friendly young Toto who took a liking to them much more than Gamera did. On the other hand, he has a very tense relation with the Diamond Authority, who he has disdain for due to their actions nearly killing off life on their Universe's Earth, while for now he's ceased any hostility due to Rose's and Steven's words, he's clarified that he will eliminate the Diamonds mercilessly if they go back to their old ways, regardless of whether he aleniates his allies or not.
  • As a protector of Earth and nature, other guardians (even those not as fond of humans) allied with Gamera over it, Gaea in particular was quick to provide Gamera with reserves of Mana drawn from Earth's power, for the sake of preventing an scenario where Gamera's energy runs out and he might need support in a fierce battle.
  • As he enjoys killing and eating children, Pennywise became another enemy of Gamera, in Pennywise's part the fact that Gamera reminds him of his old nemesis Maturin is another factor in their enmity. However Pennywise is rather afraid of facing the turtle Kaiju as he's found no fear which to exploit and his power means that he might be able to destroy him even if only temporarily, as such he's preferred to seek allies who can assist him against Gamera.
  • He also became allies with Ash Ketchum and his Pokemon, mainly due to Ash's many bonds with various legendary Pokemon and his heroic disposition. Likewise, that Ash respects the natural order of Earth and has fought many villains who wanted to upset it for their selfish goals made Gamera respect the Pokemon trainer. Toto himself found a lot of similarities between how Ash treats his Pokemon and how Toru treated him as a baby and as such befriended Ash as well.
  • It's possible for Gamera to get brainwashed and go on a rampage. Actually doing so is easier said than done, though a few evil aliens that are capable of brainwashing others were once willing to try and see if they could get Gamera under their control. Nowadays, few are willing to try given Gamera's role as one of the few beings keeping the Gyaos at bay and mind-controlling him would most likely end counterproductively unless the Gyaos are also somehow controlled.
  • Some of his early adventures were watched and ridiculed by Joel and the robots of the Satellite of Love. While Joel did admit that Gamera's first adventure wasn't that bad, a lot of the mocking came from Gamera's more ridiculous feats such as being a bit too acrobatic before attacking. Joel and the bots even made up a song set to the tune of Gamera's theme, though the giant turtle doesn't really care much about them to begin with as entertainment is irrelevant to his general goals and role as a guardian. Despite claims that the bots met Gamera in the flesh, it's more than likely it was just a random guy in space passing himself off as Gamera since the real thing was more than likely somewhere else.
    • To a much lesser extent, Elvira covered one of his later adventures during a hosting gig of hers. Weirdly enough, none of the Satellite of Love crew has stated that they watched it at any point, but if comments from others are any indication, they actually aren't sure if that particular adventure is worth the time to make fun of. Gamera himself doesn't really cares for this one instance as well and mostly ignores Elvira as much as he does to the Satellite of Love Crew

Lucina, Goddess of Future Children ("Marth", Foreseer, Warrior from a Doomed Future, Defiant of Destiny, Future Witness)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucinassbu.png
As "Masked Marth"
  • House: Child Archetypes
  • [tup]s:
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: The brand of the Exalt, or her Parallel Falchion
  • Theme Songs: You May Call Me "Marth", Rival when fighting
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: You Gotta Have Blue Hair, Samus Is a Girl, Adorkable, The Comically Serious, When She Smiles, being a Bifauxnen, Dead Person Impersonation, Time Travel, Set Right What Once Went Wrong, Broken Bird, Breakout Character, Daddy's Girl.
  • Domains: Disguise, Renown, Identity
  • Heralds: The other Future Children (Inigo, Brady, Kjelle, Cynthia, Severa, Gerome, Morgan, Yarne, Laurent, Noire)
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Grima, Galeem and Dharkon, Eobard Thwane/Reverse Flash, Randall Ross, The Dahaka, Acnologia, The Fatalis Line, Smaug, Sindragosa, Deathwing, King Ghidorah, Nightmare, Soul Edge, Dark Danny, Porky Minch, SHOCKER, Malekith, Master Xehanort, Skynet, The Gyaos, Ridley, Ganondorf, Aku, Dr. Zomboss, Biff Tannen
  • Opposes: Homura Akemi
  • Pities: Nox, Old Joseph Simmons
  • Friendly Rival: Captain Falcon
  • Baffled by: Crazy Dave
  • Lucina was the daughter of Chrom, born in to King Chrom of Ylisse and his wife in a world that was soon ravaged by the self-proclaimed Fell Dragon Grima. Chrom was killed by a close comrade and soon his wife followed suit dying in the war. Her parents' deaths prompted Lucina to eventually travel back in time to kill Grima before the Fell Dragon could rise to power, saving both her family and the world. Followed by Grima from the future, Lucina nearly fell along with her friends and father, but eventually the heroes of Ylisse won and Grima was vanquished forever.
  • When Lucina's entire identity was proven to be a massive change and a big twist in her father's and Robin's adventure it gave the Court of Gods the idea to eventually ascend her under Kid from the Future. Once done, she had a heartwarming reunion with him, the two glad to see each other again after so long.
  • Upon learning of Lucina's presence in the Pantheon, Robin reunited with Lucina, much to both of their joy. No one is completely sure which gender Robin is nor what the relationship between Robin and Lucina is. Friends? Lovers? Parent and time-displaced child? Different gods have asked Lucina, but there have been differing reports of her answers, some even rumor that there are multiple Lucinas each accounting for a different relationship to Robin but having the same personality.
  • Still remains in a small rivalry with Captain Falcon. He's apologized for attacking them and her father that time, so their rivalry is now more lighthearted, as he was impressed when they showed their "moves" in battle and she and Robin managed to give him a really hard time. Falcon himself was also as happy as she was to see Chrom entering the Smash Bros competition, with father and daughter as well as Robin ready to have a rematch with the Captain with a little more formality this time around.
  • She was very excited to learn that Hero King Marth himself is in the Pantheon. Since everything was cleared up, Marth's has not been quite sure how to take this given her impersonation of him, regardless, he is glad that his descendant ended up as good a person as she is, though. From time to time they'll spar to test how good each other is at fighting and for Marth to stealthily teach her any techniques he thinks she might lack.
  • Her belief that hope will never die has made her a friend of Madoka Kaname, as the Magical Girl is representative of Hope and is a strong fighter for her own dreams of a world filled with hope and stopping all suffering forever. Due to her alliance with Madoka, she's come to pity and oppose Homura Akemi, as the latter's goals of overriding Madoka's own wish for an admittedly selfish love did not sit well with Lucina.
  • Learned that she's Not So Different from Link, who also wore masks to impersonate people in one timeline. Outside of it, the two became close friends after learning of each other's adventures in time travel and their status as swordfighters who fought against evil entities who spread misery and chaos. Likewise, their encounters in the Smash Bros tournament also contributed to them becoming friends. Due to her similar experiences to Link, including disguising herself as Sheik to protect herself from Ganondorf, Zelda became allies with Lucina.
  • Was unbelievably horrified to learn that Grima is alive in the Pantheon, but is aware that he is thankfully not as capable as he once was. She knows that she, Chrom, Robin, and their allies can stop him again. Moreso thanks to having allied with the likes of Kirby, Bayonetta, Sonic and others who've fought deities as powerful or more than Grima and defeated them which has made her more confident to take a more direct approach against Grima.
  • Hates evil dragons of all kinds, especially those who desire to destroy it all or destroy nations to plunder them. Among these stood out Fatalis, as the misanthropic dragon wants all other lifeforms exterminated and as such has an evil will to match Grima's. As Smaug and Deathwing have devastated entire Kingdoms and enjoy every second of their work, they also became enemies with Lucina. Finally there's King Ghidorah as the sadistic space dragon has destroyed countless planets for the sake of entertaining himself. This last enmity also gained her an ally in Mothra Leo, who also time-travelled to ensure that the King Ghidorah of his time didn't come into existence, though Leo faile in this regard, he still got to incapacitate Ghidorah and eventually gain strength by staying in the past until he could match Ghidorah's own and destroy him for good.
  • For her actions in changing the Bad Future of her world through time travel, she has earned the ire of the The Dahaka, which has taken upon itself to hunt her down. In spite of its power, Lucina refuses to lose against it, and her allies will help out whenever it tries to single her out, with Lucina at the front standing her ground and fighting back with no fear of the time entity. Clockwork, who manages time, saw no problem in her actions and has let her be, with a simple warning not to go overboard with it for the sake of preventing fractures in time.
  • Due to her past, she's not one to understand levity, and Cannot Tell a Joke. Ocasionally she finds herself frustrated over others not taking her seriously or making fun of her tendencies to unintentionally be silly, an ally of hers, Meta Knight ended bonding with her over this as he also struggled with being taken seriously at times due to his cute appearance (much to his own chagrin).
  • Has befriended Artoria Pendragon over how they both pretended to be men at one point in their lives, watched their respective kingdoms fall into destruction and despair (albeit for different reasons), and how they traveled through time to prevent those futures from happening (though Lucina is glad that Arturia didn't follow through with her plan). They often spend time either sparring together or talking about their worlds or their respective friends (who may be more) Robin and Shirou.
    • Another ally made over the issue of disguising as a woman was Mulan as the warrior woman took the place of her father when war broke out in China to protect him from dying in the battlefield due to his old age making him unfit for battle. Lucina was glad to hear that Mulan successfully saved her father and became a hero to all of China as a whole after defeating Shan Yu, even saving the Emperor from death.
  • She befriended Barry/The Flash over both travelling through time to save their parents. Though in Barry's case he ultimately had to let fate run its course, he was moved to hear that Lucina succeeded in saving her father in a way. For this alliance she became enemies with Reverse Flash who is a deprived speedster also capable of changing time and that has haunted Barry for a long time.
    • Just like with Barry, she befriended Silver the Hedgehog and Future Trunks over their similar circumstances in regards to traveling through time to save their loved ones. She felt bad for Trunks once she knew that thanks to Zamasu he lost everything he had worked for and had to move to a different timeline to live in after Zamasu forced Zeno to destroy the entirety of his original timeline.
    • Since he had been unintentionally removed from his time period and had to fight a great evil like her, Lucina befriended Samurai Jack, with an added bonus being her swordfighting skill. Just like Lucina and her allies did with Grima, Jack was eventually able to vanquish his enemy, Aku. Lucina was glad to hear about it. Initially she felt bad hearing that Jack lost Ashi, but recently it seems she managed to persist and eventually married Jack with nothing separating them again.
    • Given that both Doc Brown and Marty McFly travelled to the past and future to make things that went wrong right, they befriended Lucina, with Brown curious about how her actions changed the future for the better. For being allies with them, she became enemies with Biff Tannen, as the cruel bully hijacked their time machine for the purpose of creating a future where he rules with an iron fist, ruining Marty's life in the process and trying to kill both him and Brown when they tried to reverse his changes.
    • As he and the Taros take care of fixing time anomalies, Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O initially had an odd approach to Lucina given her time-travel shenanigans, however given that she intended to do good with them, he forgave her for it and befriended her, even congratulating her for trying to fix a Bad Future and eventually succeeding at it.
    • For kickstarting a Bad Future and trying to preserve it, Dark Danny earned Lucina's ire, especially with his sadism and his cruelty towards all other living beings. Dark Danny was cruel enough to mock her inability to ultimately protect her parents in her own timeline and how she nearly screwed up her own attempts to fix things. Danny Phantom himself has allied with Lucina over this shared enemy.
    • Originally she was curious to hear of Crazy Dave's time travel adventure when she believed that he had gone back in time to stop the zombie invasion of various timelines by Dr. Zomboss alongside the Player and the Bloom and Doom Plants, however she was caught off-guard by the revelation that Dave's encounters with Zomboss were purely a coincidence and that he had originally gone back in time to eat a taco again. Needless to say, her view of him went from 100 to 0 really quickly, and was pretty baffled as to why anyone would use time travel and potentially endanger the space-time continuum for the sake of a taco.

@Clovis: Robocop has more reason to hunt down Nemesis besides the ability to keep up with him; he was killed the first time by a gang led by a Cop Killer named Clarence Boddicker. Someone just suggested adding him as a High Priest.

Eryi, Goddess of Meaningless Video Game Lives

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eryi_from_eryis_action.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her melon
  • Theme Song: Main Menu BGM
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Genki Girl, Green Hair, Our Fairies Are Different, Unfaltering Resolve, Screwed Over Many Times In-Game By Just About Everything, Dying Over And Over Again To Negative Life Counts, One-Hit-Point Wonder Even In RPG Mode, Goomba Stomp, Holds No Grudge Against Farta
  • Domain(s): Difficulty, Kazio, Defeat (Repeatedly), Persistence
  • Herald: Farta (her girlfriend and tormentor)
  • High Priest: "Cat Mario"
  • Allies: The Kid, Diogenes, the Human Child, Kirby
  • Opposed by: The GUAE Trollkaiger
  • When it comes to Video-Game Lives, they're meant to represent chances for the player to go through a stage of the game before being marked a Game Over or restarting the stage. And in the case of arcades, it's a way to siphon more money from its customers as they insert more coins to buy more lives). And then some games make it all meaningless, whether that's from giving too many of them, or because the counter doesn't matter. Either way, they're made pointless to count, unless perhaps as a form of "score".
    • Eryi's Action is a game where Eryi has to go through numerous stages filled with Kaizo Traps set up by the fairy-ish troll Farta to get back her melon she was about to eat. And unless the player knows where all the traps are beforehand and how to avoid them, her life count will go down all the way to negative numbers very quickly, not that it actually makes a difference.
  • As for how Eyri got here, it was as simple as an invitation sent by the Court, which she immediately accepted, and she made her way in. Getting there however was just as deadly as her regular adventures for some reason. Still, she eventually passed the gauntlet, was rewarded papers of some importance, reached the Janus Checkpoints, passed her papers to the Inspector,
  • Her temple takes the form of her house, and even there she's careful, since she risks getting conked by a washtub. It always kills her if it hits, while it's usually merely concussive/an inconvenience for anybody else her size or bigger.
  • Speaking of, due to her fragility, and her title, she shares the same revival privileges as Viridian, Born, and Zee Tee; coming back to life in a few moments at the entrance of the sub-House she dies in.
    • As for her interactions with those three, the first accidentally killed her when he landed on her head from the ceiling (which he still apologizes for), she saw the third explode in blood while at a violent portion of the Pantheon, and she once followed the second around as he courteously left his paint long enough for her to catch up with him, wherever he was going.
  • As someone who's endured a ridiculous Platform Hell, Eryi gets a lot of respect from the Kid who (once) wanted to be The Guy. That said, neither he nor anyone else can see what Eyri sees in Farta.
  • Because of what she goes through, whenever she travels, she always moves erratically as if expecting a trap around every corner (which it often was in her game), only treading safely by tailing someone else since they're almost guaranteed to walk a path that's safe. This especially applies to people who are Walking Disaster Areas if they're sure to survive it, such as Nathan Drake.
  • Has determination that reaches nigh-masochistic levels, that even when the Trollkaiger do what they can to reset her progress through an area, she always persists, and they tend to give up after a while, just like with their attempts on Diogenes.
    • Because of that, she managed to befriend not only that cauldron-wearing guy, but the Human Child as well for their similar never-give-up attitudes, even if Frisk has more things to live for.
    • Some who know Kirby also drew parallels between her adventure and the pink blob's quest to get back his stolen cake. As for when they met, it's usually spent eating together, and cooperating if someone has the "bright" idea of stealing food from them.
    • Also because of that, there are those who worry that she might even think of crossing the gauntlet through the Yamato Perpetual Reactor (and consider the timer to go through it before Flynn or the Demi-Fiend catches up to her as a challenge) if given a really, really, really, really good enough reason. Given she went through several brutal levels just to retrive a melon she was about to eat, people are concerned that the Trollkaiger or the GUAD might actually consider using her for this purpose, even if just to waste Flynn's and Naoki's time. Of course, she has to have a reason to bypass Maximum Security first, though, which has its own slew of traps.

William Benjamin "Bill" Brady, Celestial Victim of the Cape Snag (Dollar Bill)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dollar_bill.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The National Bank insignia, his sponsor
  • Alignment: Highly-Flawed Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Cape Snag and Undignified Death, All-American Face, Born Lucky Until That Fateful Day, Alliterative Name, Corporate-Sponsored Superhero, Captain Patriotic, Impractically Fancy Outfit, Posthumous Character, Deconstruction of Superheroes Wear Capes
  • Domain(s): Heroes, Bank, Mascot, Capes, Death
  • High Priest: Dr. Impossible
  • Allies: Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Captain America
  • Enemies: Syndrome, supervillains by default, Vought-American, The Seven (sans Queen Maeve and Starlight)
  • Respected by: Walter Kovacs/Rorschach
  • Opposed by: Many female, non-white, and homosexual superheroes
  • Opposes: The Comedian
  • William Benjamin Brady was an ordinary man from Nebraska born in 1917. In his highschool days, he was a sports prodigy, offset only by his struggles with studying. And then he suffered a Career-Ending Injury, and that was the end of his football career. However, thanks to help from his friends, he barely managed to graduate.
    • At Manhattan, he tried looking for a job, and first tried out theater thanks to his good looks, but that didn't pan out either. He was at the end of his rope until he found an ad from National Bank that required only his looks to apply. Turns out it was to be their mascot Dollar Bill. With literally no options, he signed up.
    • At first, all he was was an actor to promote the company, until they had him answer a different hero-recruiting ad. Bill had reservations for actually getting into the fray against real robbers, but his sponsors thought it was all just flash and mirrors.
    • Turns out it's for real, the Minutemen are fully aware of what he is, and they want him in anyway to help promote their own team. Despite being nothing but an actor, Bill stepped up to the plate when it counted, and became a hero in his own right. With his fame and fortune, he tried his hand at Hollywood, only to be turned down (also by Sunset Boulevard, low-budget studios, and even porn productions) due to having been typecast already as Dollar Bill.
    • On one fateful day, during a defense against robbers attacking a National Bank, after forcing them to flee, Bill gave chase, only for his cape—forcibly kept by the company despite his misgivings about it—to catch at the revolving door, giving them the perfect chance to kill him. His funeral was a highlight of the year, and there were many who attended.
  • When he found himself before the Court of the Gods, he also saw the other Minutemen present, and was glad to see Nite Owl and Silk Spectre (or at least their successors), though not the Comedian, and Rorschach was enigmatic as always. The trope he realized he was ascending for did leave him rather embarrassed, but with a second chance at life, he signed up.
  • Like all the Minutemen, he had his own share of glaring flaws that were fair-ish for the time he was in; he was sexist, a homophobe, and a hatemonger who cared more about his beliefs than the lives of others. Still, his clear commercial motivations (hired by a bank) were never commented on by his peers or the subsequent generation of vigilantes, who all seem to regard him as a worthy hero; even the cynical Rorschach lamented Dollar Bill's untimely death.
    • Of course, those flaws have gotten him in trouble with every non-white, female, and gay hero in the Pantheon, such as Lady Liberty, as well as those who don't share his views, particularly Captain America, whom Dollar Bill resembles. That said, Steve isn't that against him, given it's born from his time period and knows that Bill still means well.
  • Despite her scathing comments on his costume, given the trope he died for, Bill actually agrees with Edna Mode, and asked that she use his story as another cautionary tale against capes, if she already has. The Parr family were present to ensure the sexist Bill doesn't insult Edna during this deal.
    • While he would like her help with his costume, the mandate on his title demands he be seen with his cape (though he's permitted to remove it before a fight).
  • Having been a Corporate-Sponsored Superhero before his death (his current sponsor is the GUAG Superhero Division, though not as a mascot anymore), he's been given an invitation from Vought-American and a sponsorship offer. However, he's heard of their reputation from some members of the Seven (Queen Maeve and Starlight) and sees accepting the contract as a really bad idea, especially given the Homelander, A-Train, and Black Noir.
  • While he also met his demise via Cape Snag (though on a turbine), given his villainy (as well as having slain so many heroes with the Omnidroids), Syndrome is just another supervillain to Dollar Bill.
  • Thankfully for him, the House of Theater isn't as concerned about typecast as the ones in the mortal realm are, and sometimes takes time off there.

@ Faso: The Crimson Court became vampires after unknowing being served The Countess' blood by The Ancestor. While a sip "enlightened" him of the horrors beneath their feet, the nobles immediately descended into a blood frenzy. As a bonus, instead of a bat-motif, the nobles lean toward a parasite-themed one instead. The most prominent of them all is mosquitos. As for other pests, there's James Marcus/The Queen Leech.

Nurgle and Peryite for the whole diseases aspect. And while many Princes engage in the corruption of mortals one way or another Molag Bal has it as one of his domains and many titles.

@ RJ: While not the scale of The Joker, Lucas Baker still qualifies and is still a stand-out example of an awful person within his universe. Wonder what he would think of Chief Brion Irons. And on the topic of Resident Evil, he shouldn't get confused with the B.O.W. Nemesis.

@ nightelf: I guess if we're talking about Syndrome and his death then Von Twirlenkiller. As Jack Cayman demonstrated on him, getting mangled by his turbines is not a pleasant way to go.

@ Bale: [tup] for both.

@Bale - You forgot to mention Barry in Lucina's allies, but otherwise, [tup] for both her and Gamera. Lucina could also be in Time Placement whereas Gamera can be in Friendship Dynamics too.

P.S - Keep in mind that Lucina being in Child Archetypes would put that page into the "Too Long" warning. For an alternative, there is Offsprings to consider, but that doesn't take away the fact that the former Sub-House could use a split.

@Clovis: Wonder how he would interact with Manny Pardo? There's also the C.R.A.S.H Cops in the same house. Both are Dirty Cops, the former being a Serial Killer who wants attention and the latter essentially double as kingpins in Los Santos.

@Bale:[tup] to both.

Hey, would anyone mind if I put the three other anime Godzilla theme songs into different character files?

the Sky Falls for Mecha Godzilla, Live and Die for King Ghidorah, and Evergreen for Mothra.

[up] You know, nothing is stopping you from adding them to their profiles. The only thing to check is if they're actually used in their works, and it seems they are.

[up] Right. Already did it, just checking to see if each theme is okay with each monster.

I want to ascend Shigiraki from My Hero Academia into the pantheon. Can someone tell me where’s the sandbox for making profiles? And if anyone already is god of the straw nihilist trope? Cause I find him to be a good fit for that trope.
