    open/close all folders
    In General
A race of warrior aliens that Mandie is from.
  • Aliens Speaking English: Despite being from another planet, Boudacians speak the same language as humans.
  • Amazon Chaser: Boudacian males tend to go after strong women like princess Mandie, who is a better fighter than any of them.
  • Animal Motifs: They have a strong connection with canines, with Mandie revealing that Boudacians evolved from them.
    • Like dogs, they are very affectionate towards those they care for, growl when agitated, and enjoy belly-rubs. According to Mandie, the latter is seen as an indication of sexual desire, hence why she discourages Danny from doing that to her before they get married.
    • Like wolves, they have fangs and claws, a tendency to refer to offspring as "pups", and possess a firm belief in marital fidelity*.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: The royal family are considered the strongest fighters on Boudacia. Boudacians can also rise up in the ranks by getting stronger.
  • Blood Knight: With exceptions like Dieana, all Boudacians love fighting and have a strong bloodlust.
  • Bigotry Exception: Boudacians generally look down on weaker and less advanced races but make an exception for ones that are either powerful or come from influential families, to the point they're willing to mate with them to produce strong offspring. Mandie's father Maurus is such an exception as he's a fierce warrior from his world's royal family.
  • Challenge Seeker: Boudacians love fighting and being pushed to their limits. This is one of the main reasons Mandie prefers Danny over Brutis since he can actually beat her in a fight.
  • Child Soldier: Even as kid, Mandie was conquering planets.
  • Combat Pragmatist: They're willing to use cheap shots and fight in groups to overwhelm opponents.
  • Close-Range Combatant: Boudacians prefer fighting up close to show off their combat prowess. That being said, they have no objection to using gadgetry.
  • The Dreaded: They were considered so dangerous in their own universe that Jorgen Von Strangle felt the only way to stop them from waging war on the entire galaxy was to banish them to Danny's universe.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Boudacians highly value the institute of marriage.
  • Fantastic Racism: They have no respect for species that aren't strong or at least useful in some way.
  • Four-Fingered Hands: They only have four fingers.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Despite their loutish demeanors, they possess highly advanced technology, all of which they built themselves. And if they come across something their existing tech can't beat, they are quite capable of inventing something new to fix that problem—and quickly.
  • Has a Type: According to Mandie, the vast majority of Boudacian males are Amazon Chasers. Presumably, most Boudacian women are a case of All Amazons Want Hercules.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Although they may look human, they have fangs and occasionally insect antennae.
  • Master Race: They full see themselves as the strongest race in universe bar none. They're not too far off the mark in their native universe given all the worlds they conquered.
  • No Challenge Equals No Satisfaction: As a race of Challenge Seekers, they like fighting strong foes who can test their skills. At the same time, however, they don't like fighting opponents who can beat them. They prefer to fight people who can give them a reasonable challenge before they stomp them. If faced with a superior opponent, they can have a Villainous Breakdown like Brutis. Not all Boudacians are Sore Losers though, as Milee fell in love with Maurus for beating her in their first spar while Mandie wants to battle someone who can defeat and even overpower her; the greater the odds, the more excited she gets.
  • Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: Played With. Boudacians have advanced technology and are skilled warriors, but aren't in the same weight class as ghosts from the DP universe as Danny has been shown to beat two of their strongest warriors, Mandie and Brutis, and is far from the most powerful ghost in the Ghost Zone. Though Boudacians have proven themselves capable of adapting to combat with ghosts, with Mandie curb-stomping Danny at least twice after managing to nullify his intangibility, so this might change soon.
  • Punny Name: Their names is a play on "bodacious," meaning "attractive", which is quite fitting as they're a race of yellow-skinned hotties.
  • Pointy Ears: Something they have in common with the Vulcans.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: The hat of the entire Boudacian race. They pride themselves on being warriors and don't put much value on mercy or compassion.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something: The royal family fights on the front lines with other Boudacians.
  • Rubber-Forehead Aliens: Would pass as humans if it weren't for their yellow skin and pointy ears.
  • Smug Super: A common trait among the Boudacians. They are the strongest warrior race in the universe and they're fully aware of it.
  • The Social Darwinist: Mixed with Fantastic Racism, Boudacians look down on other species and see it as their right to subjugate them since they're weaker.
  • The Spartan Way: As a warrior race that believes in constant training and one's strength as the ultimate virtue, they fit this mindset perfectly. Mandie has been trained since birth to fight and conquer planets.
  • Superpowerful Genetics: According to Mandie, Boudacians have been breeding with the strongest warriors in the galaxy to create powerful offspring.
  • Women Prefer Strong Men: Boudacian women tend to marry men who are powerful enough to beat them in combat.

The Boudacian Royal Family

    In General
The ruling family of Planet Boudacia. It consists of King Maurus, Queen Milee and Princess Mandie.
  • Aliens Love Human Food: After Mandie develops a taste for Earth food, she uses it as one of her arguments not to have her parents invade Earth and even makes them try it out. Milee is delighted by the taste of the hamburger and fries and while Maurus refuses to admit it at first, he quickly wolfs down the burger upon tasting it for the first time.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: Maurus became king of Boudacia because his skills as a warrior earned him Milee's hand in marriage.
  • Best Her to Bed Her: A warrior can marry into the royal family if they beat the crown princess in single combat. Mandie seeks to marry Danny for this reason as he's the only male who's ever managed to beat her in a fight.
  • Blood Knight: They conquer planets for Boudacia's benefit and for the sake of fighting.
  • Nice, Mean, and In-Between: Milee is the Nice since she's most mature, reasonable, and levelheaded member of the family (though even she has a vicious side), Maurus is the Mean given his nature as a prideful, hotheaded Blood Knight, and Mandie is the In-Between as she's genuinely friendly as long as you don't provoke her.
  • Perfectly Arranged Marriage: Maurus was the prince of an allied planet and the fiercest of Boudacia's allies so he was betrothed to Milee. They fell in love when he beat her in combat during their honeymoon.
  • Rank Scales with Asskicking: They're the leaders of Boudacia and their most badass fighters. Even elite warriors like Brutis don't hold a candle to Mandie. In fact, strength is a requirement as one needs to defeat a member of the royal family to become part of it, unless there are special circumstances such as Mandie's short-lived Arranged Marriage to Mark Chang.
  • Super Breeding Program: The royal family has been breeding with the strongest warriors in their original universe for generations to produce powerful offspring. Milee became engaged to Maurus for his fierce warrior nature, and their daughter Mandie is considered one of the best fighters on their planet. Maurus hopes to arrange her marriage to someone like Brutis to continue the family line.

    King Maurus Destroyall
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/king_and_queen_of_boudacia.jpg
Mandie's stubborn, short-tempered father, the king of Boudacia and Queen Milee's husband.
  • Abusive Parents: The emotional variety. While he truly loves his daughter, Maurus is rather harsh, demanding, critical, controlling, and insensitive toward her as he's fine with trying to set her up with her most despised suitor Brutis against her wishes despite Mandie's clear disdain for him, her already being in a loving relationship with Danny, or Brutis being an obvious jerkass. It takes Brutis launching a coup to steal the throne and Maurus teaming up with Danny to save his family for him to finally wise up.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: While still a loving husband and father, Maurus is much more stubborn, prideful, argumentative, and temperamental than in canon and Flower princess11's previous fanfic. This strains his relationship with his family due to his strong opposition to Mandie's relationship with Danny and Milee's acceptance of it.
  • All for Nothing: When Brutis betrays and imprisons the Boudacian royal family, Maurus laments that he was just wasting his time trying to make an arrogant fool like Brutis worthy of being king or even stand by his daughter’s side in any shape or form.
  • Ambitious, but Lazy: He wants Mandie to have a strong, worthy mate but is too impatient to search for one powerful enough to beat—or is at least compatible with—her, so he’d rather marry her off to her most irritating Abhorrent Admirer Brutis because he’s from a prestigious family and has a good reputation as a warrior, regardless of how incapable he is at beating Mandie in a fight or how much of an obviously sexist Jerkass he is.
  • Amazon Chaser: He greatly admires his wife Milee for her combat prowess.
  • Badass in Distress: He’s betrayed by Brutis, who tasers and imprisons him in the dungeon so he can take over Boudacia. He escapes with Danny’s help and goes to rescue his wife Milee.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: He always wanted Mandie to marry Brutis and sees it happen... when Brutis forces her into an Arranged Marriage by taking over Boudacia and holding Mandie's loved ones prisoner, including Maurus.
  • The Berserker: Danny admits he's just as temperamental as Mandie but fights even wilder than her when Maurus goes on a violent rampage while battling the treacherous guards and droids that work for Brutis.
  • Blood Knight: Enjoys fighting for conquest and just for the sake of it.
  • Boomerang Bigot: He disapproves of Mandie's relationship with Danny because he's an Earthling and not a Boudacian. Mandie calls him out on this.
  • Boyfriend-Blocking Dad: To say he doesn't approve of Mandie's relationship with Danny is a giant understatement. He'd rather set her up with a boy of his own choosing like Brutis, much to Mandie's revulsion.
  • Brains and Brawn: He’s stronger than his wife Milee who prefers to come up with the plans.
  • Break the Haughty: Brutis’ betrayal makes him realize Mandie and Milee were right about the former all along, and that Maurus was a fool for trying to make an arrogant pup like Brutis into someone worthy to be king or even enough to stand by his daughter’s side in any shape or form.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Whenever he's not yelling, he's this when irritated, mainly toward his family.
  • Defrosting Ice King: He develops a newfound respect for Team Phantom after they help him get his planet back from Brutis and Vlad.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: His response to learning about Mandie's romance with Danny is to order the latter's execution and intend to invade Earth because he doesn't want to hand over his daughter or planet to an Earthling.
  • Enemy Mine: He teams up with Danny so they can escape from their prison cell and rescue the royal family, then exact vengeance on Brutis for his betrayal.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: To say he didn't see Brutis' betrayal coming would be an understatement.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He does NOT take it well when Brutis reveals he’s sending Boudacian soldiers to capture Maurus' wife after his betrayal of the royal family. He later refuses to escape from the palace with Danny until they save Milee.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • He might endlessly nag Mandie into marry Brutis, but he won't force her to.
    • As much as he favors Brutis, even Maurus has limits with the nobleman's arrogance as he reminds Brutis that he can't presume to be Mandie's betrothed since he's never beaten her in battle. He also refuses to let Brutis deploy warriors against Danny in a mission to eliminate the ghost boy as only the king and queen can command Boudacia's armies.
    • Regardless of how angry he gets, he never takes it out on his family and just settles for smashing furniture.
    • While he's mad at Mandie for her recent behavior, he still listens to her counsel regarding how powerful Danny is since she has experience dealing with dangerous Earthlings like Timmy, who wielded magic that stopped Boudacia from conquering Yugopotamia.
    • While partly out of pragmatism, he's outraged that Brutis would destroy Earth just because of his petty grudge with Danny and Mandie.
    • Him and his wife are disgusted that Vlad would endanger his own planet Earth just to claim Maddie.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: He can't wrap his head around why Mandie vastly prefers the heroic Danny Phantom over her arrogant and Abhorrent Admirer, Brutis, since as far as he's concerned, the nobleman would be the ideal husband because of his combat record, pedigree, and family's wealth.
  • Evil Is Petty: He wants to invade Earth just to get rid of Danny so he can't marry Mandie and become king of Boudacia. Mandie even calls him out on hating Danny just for being an earthling despite never meeting him in person.
  • Exact Words: During an argument with Mandie where he threatens to invade Earth, he points out that she gave Danny her word not to invade Earth but he never gave his word.
  • Fantastic Racism: He rejects Danny as a potential husband for Mandie because he's not of Boudacian heritage.
  • The Farmer and the Viper: Brutis was his favorite soldier and chosen suitor for marrying his daughter Mandie, but he betrays Maurus so he can use him and Milee as bargaining chips to make Mandie marry him so he can become ruler of Boudacia.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: It takes a while but during their alliance, he does warm up to Danny after being impressed by his strength when he beats up the treacherous Boudacian guards and droids, along with witnessing his strong sense of honor in returning Maurus his kingdom which he won by beating Brutis in a fight. He also grows to admire Team Phantom for their bravery and resourcefulness when they come to Boudacia to help save Danny from Vlad and Brutis.
  • Galactic Conqueror: He and his wife's main goal is to take over both the DP universe, as well as the FOP one.
  • Genius Bruiser: He's a strong warrior and capable tactician with medical training.
  • Happily Married: To Milee, despite their differences.
  • Heel Realization: He FINALLY realizes Mandie was right to hate Brutis after being betrayed by him.
  • Heir Club for Men: He is desperate for his daughter to settle down (preferably with Brutis) and start producing heirs.
  • Henpecked Husband: Downplayed as he's willing to argue with his wife, but knows to back down when she threatens to break out the shock dog collar.
  • Hidden Depths: While saving Milee, he's revealed to have some medical training and is quite knowledgeable about Sentori heart root poison, which he expertly removes from his wife's system.
  • Horrible Judge of Character:
    • He ignores Brutis' flaws because he believes his good qualities outweigh them. Maurus fails to see that Brutis is only kissing up to him so he can marry Mandie to become king, until Brutis betrays and imprisons him.
    • He doesn’t realize how genuinely loyal Sam is to Danny since he expects her to take up Brutis’ offer to destroy the ghost boy on his behalf as revenge for loving Mandie instead of her and for a position of honor in his empire, only to be surprised when Sam chooses to shoot Brutis instead in Danny’s defense.
    • He underestimates Danny’s sense of honor until the ghost boy hands Maurus back his kingdom after winning it from Brutis in their fight.
  • Hot-Blooded: He's the most temperamental member of the royal family. It's clear where Mandie gets her own short temper from.
  • Hypocrite:
    • Maurus disapproves of Mandie's decision to marry Danny because he's not Boudacian. Mandie is quick to call her father out on this by pointing out neither is he.
    • Despite his desperation for Mandie to marry someone, he instantly disapproves of Danny just because he doesn't feel the ghost boy meets his standards and would prefer she marry someone of his own choosing like Brutis.
    • He preaches about the importance of strength but would prefer Mandie marry the much weaker Brutis over the powerful Danny Phantom just because Danny is an Earthling from a common background.
  • I Reject Your Reality: He completely refuses to accept that Mandie will never marry Brutis even if Danny wasn't in the picture and stubbornly thinks she can be persuaded into changing her mind.
  • Irrational Hatred: He hates Danny for being a non-Boudacian from an enemy world and his daughter's chosen mate. Mandie calls him out on this by pointing out he's never even met Danny.
  • It's All About Me: Maurus cares more about what HE wants for Mandie rather than what makes his daughter happy.
  • It's All My Fault: During their escape, he admits to Milee that they wouldn’t be dealing with the coup if he hadn't blindly trusted Brutis.
  • I Want Grandkids: Both he and his wife want their daughter to marry and have children.
  • Knight Templar Parent: What else do you call a guy who wants to invade a planet just to get rid of his daughter's boyfriend?
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Despite his pride and stubbornness, he draws the line at doing anything that would make his family hate him or breaking Boudacian law. He decides to just stand down and wait for Brutis to challenge Danny after his wedding with Mandie, not that Maurus has high hopes for the ghost boy accepting the challenge. Unfortunately for him, Brutis isn't keen on following that plan.
  • Lack of Empathy: He doesn’t care if Mandie loves Danny and hates Brutis since all that matters to him is maintaining the honor of the royal family. He pays dearly for this when Brutis imprisons them to force Mandie's hand in marriage so he can acquire the throne.
  • Large and in Charge: He is a huge dog-like alien warrior and the king of Boudacia.
  • Large Ham: Whenever he gets riled up, he has No Indoor Voice.
  • Late to the Realization: It’s not until Brutis betrays him by knocking out and locking him up in the dungeon that Maurus realizes his family was right to hate him and Mandie was correct all along that Brutis would make a horrible husband and king.
  • A Lighter Shade of Black: Compared to Brutis; Maurus is a vicious warlord but has redeeming qualities like his sense of honor and sincere love for his family and Boudacia.
  • Love-Obstructing Parents: He doesn't care if Mandie loves Danny and as far as he's concerned, marriage is out of the question since he's an Earthling from an enemy world.
  • Meet the In-Laws: He ends up meeting Danny when Brutis throws him into the same cell as Maurus. Despite their rough start, they’re able to form an alliance to escape in order to save the royal family and defeat Brutis.
  • Might Makes Right: He thinks Boudacia should conquer the universe because of their strength.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Maurus didn’t have a last name in canon or Flower princess11's previous fanfic but here, he married into the house of Destroyall.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: “Hero” being a bit generous but he admits to his family after Brutis betrays them that he should’ve listened to them about Brutis not being worthy of Mandie and he only made things worse by enabling the arrogant Boudacian general's sense of entitlement and lust for power.
  • Noble Demon: He's a violent warlord but will do anything to protect his family and planet.
  • Noble Wolf: Noble enough to protect his family and Boudacia with his life.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Him and his wife consider Vlad to be just as much of an egotistical scumbag as Brutis for putting his home planet Earth at risk just for the sake of power and making Maddie his.
  • Our Werewolves Are Different: He's a wolf-like alien who can ignite his fur when angry.
  • Papa Wolf: Jokes aside, he dearly loves his daughter Mandie and will tear apart anyone who hurts her.
  • Parents as People: He truly loves his daughter but doesn't respect her wishes and tries to marry her off to Brutis since he views the latter as the best male Boudacia has to offer. He also refuses to accept her relationship with Danny since, in his eyes, he is technically their enemy.
  • Parental Marriage Veto: He stubbornly opposes Mandie’s decision to make Danny her mate because he doesn’t consider a human peasant good enough for his daughter and would prefer she marry a renowned noble with a military background like Brutis, much to her revulsion and outrage.
  • Parent-Preferred Suitor: He sees Danny Phantom as an enemy, and would rather Mandie settle down with Brutis.
  • Perfectly Arranged Marriage: He was arranged to marry Milee when they were teenagers since they were both royalty of their respective worlds and he was the fiercest of her allies. They fell in love after he beat her in their first sparring match during their honeymoon.
  • Personality Powers: He's a Hot-Blooded warrior with pyrokinetic abilities.
  • Picky Eater: Played With. He claims that he not a fan of Earth food, but all it takes is one bite of a Nasty Burger before he voraciously scarfs it down.
  • Playing with Fire: His fur ignites when he seriously loses his temper. Mandie inherited her pyrokinetic abilities from him.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He's pretty classist and racist since he looks down on Danny for being a human and commoner.
  • Post-Support Regret: After Brutis’s betrayal, he’s come to regret ever favoring the arrogant noble because Maurus enabling Brutis’ worst qualities only led to his treason and created a narcissistic monster that would threaten all of Boudacia.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: He finds it extremely wasteful that Brutis would rather destroy Earth out of petty spite than conquer it.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: Even more so than his wife and daughter.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Is a dog-like alien with red eyes and a fierce conqueror.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni:
    • He's the Red to his wife's Blue, being the more passionate and quick to anger of the two. He even has red eyes.
    • Has this dynamic with Danny when they team up in an Enemy Mine, being the impulsive and violent Red Oni who prefers to recklessly charge in to Danny's calm and thoughtful Blue Oni, who goes for the subtle approach.
  • Selective Obliviousness: He ignores Brutis' flaws and Mandie's utter loathing of him because he views Brutis as Boudacia's finest male and far more befitting of royalty than Danny, in his eyes anyway.
  • Shallow Cannot Comprehend True Love: He can’t fathom why Mandie would rather marry the heroic Danny Phantom instead of her Abhorrent Admirer Brutis since Maurus regards Brutis as more suitable husband due to his strength and noble house. He changes his mind after realizing that Mandie was right about Brutis not being worth her time when he betrays the royal family and reveals his selfish ambition.
  • Shipping Torpedo: He’s completely against Mandie’s relationship with Danny because Maurus views him as an enemy that’s unworthy of his daughter and would prefer Mandie pursue a more “realistic” relationship like with Brutis instead of marrying for love.
  • Shipper with an Agenda: He wants his daughter to marry Brutis and have his kids, not because he cares for their happiness, but because Brutis is considered the best male of their world, and his and Mandie's children would benefit from their union.
  • Silly Rabbit, Romance Is for Kids!: He finds it foolish that Mandie wants to marry Danny out of love and would prefer she settle for what he deems more sensible and realistic, like a political marriage with Brutis.
  • Smarter Than You Look: He may not be quite the Genius Bruiser that his wife and daughter are, but he has a good understanding of poisons.
  • The Social Darwinist: He believes Boudacia is destined to conquer the universe because of their military might and wants Mandie to have a strong mate who can provide powerful children.
  • Sore Loser: Mandie lists this as a serious problem her father has.
    • In one instance, he destroyed their old game room in a violent rampage after Milee defeated him a dozen times in a row in 12th dimensional chess.
    • He throws a very loud and destructive tamper tantrum when Milee decides to give Danny a chance as Mandie’s suitor and honor her request not to invade Earth.
  • Strong and Skilled: He’s a veteran soldier that can mop the floor with elite Boudacian soldiers thanks to his people’s beastly strength.
  • Super-Toughness: Brutis hurts his hand when punching him.
  • Tantrum Throwing: Frequently does this, much to his wife's exasperation as it means she has to order more furniture to replace the ones Maurus destroyed during his rampages.
  • They Just Dont Get It: Milee frequently tries to explain to him why pairing Mandie with Brutis is a terrible idea since their daughter hates Brutis to the point she'd rather kill him than associate with him. However, Maurus still stubbornly believes he can convince Mandie to change her mind and give Brutis a chance, no matter how impossible it seems to accomplish. It infuriates her to no end that Maurus is too stubborn to grasp that her Brutis isn’t worth her time in the slightest and she only has eyes for her boyfriend Danny, who is a vastly superior candidate.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: He is not happy about teaming up with Danny to escape from their prison but realizes it's necessary to save his family and stop Brutis.
  • Too Desperate to Be Picky: Maurus admits he'd find Mandie a warrior from his own world to marry if he still had access to it but goes with Brutis because he's the finest male warrior they have to offer.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Like Brutis, Maurus underestimates Danny's power so he doesn't see the ghost boy as a threat and just views him as a weakling because of his lanky appearance.
  • Undying Loyalty: He may have a strained relationship with his family but he is devoted to them.
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: His wife is a gorgeous alien woman while Maurus comes from a dog-like race.
  • Unknown Rival: He sees Danny as a threat to Boudacia's goal of universal domination but they haven't met in person. Subverted when they're captured and imprisoned together by Brutis on his ship. By that point, both Maurus and Danny have bigger priorities, leading to a team-up.
  • Unstoppable Rage: He viciously rips through the treacherous guards and droids that sided with Brutis when he goes to rescue his wife Milee. This makes Danny realize where Mandie gets her strength and temper from.
  • Villain Has a Point:
    • He points out how delusional Brutis is for thinking he can force Mandie into obeying him by reminding him that she's always hated Brutis ever since they were both pups.
    • He makes it clear to Brutis he can't beat Milee in a fight since he's never even managed to beat their daughter. Even Brutis himself doesn't argue his point.
    • He is right to call Brutis out on his Stupid Evil tendencies for plotting to annihilate a useful planet like Earth out of sheer spite toward Danny and Mandie because of some petty grudge, especially since it’s so far the only world with sentient life in Danny’s universe that they’ve found.
    • He mocks Brutis by pointing out Timmy Turner is a better warrior than him by doing the one thing Brutis never could: defeat Mandie.
  • Villain Respect:
    • After Brutis' betrayal, Maurus remarks that Timmy Turner is a better warrior than him despite being half Brutis' age, since he actually managed to beat Mandie and has honor.
    • He is impressed with Danny's power after witnessing him freeze the traitorous guards and droids.
  • Villainous Valor: Even when chained, he refuses to submit or beg to Brutis. He also refuses to leave his family behind.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: He is a valuable warrior and respected king on Boudacia.
  • Virtue Is Weakness: He accuses Mandie of going soft because of Danny's influence since she's lost interest in conquering Earth and seeks to marry the ghost boy out of love instead of power.
  • Worthy Opponent: After realizing that Mandie was right all along about Brutis being a treacherous snake, Maurus considers Timmy Turner a more honorable and superior warrior since he actually managed to beat Mandie despite being only a child, something Brutis has never accomplished.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He has no problem ordering Danny's execution for being engaged to Mandie.
  • You Are What You Hate: He disapproves of Danny because he's not Boudacian, and he doesn't take it well whenever Mandie reminds him neither is he.

    Queen Milee Destroyall
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/king_and_queen_of_boudacia_4.jpg
Mandie's mother, the queen of Boudacia and the wife of King Maurus. She is more levelheaded compared to her husband.
  • Affably Evil: Despite being a warmongering queen, she's very loving toward her family as well as the most rational and levelheaded member of the royal family.
  • Aliens Steal Cable: She loves watching Earth sitcoms.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parent: She has no problem teasing Mandie about her interest in Danny, much to her daughter's embarrassment.
  • Assassin Outclassin': She's able to spot and fend off the Boudacian commando squad that Brutis sends to capture her. She's only knocked out when she drinks from the goblet that Dieana poisoned.
  • Badass in Distress: She’s ambushed by Brutis’ soldiers and poisoned by Dieana so they can imprison her. She’s rescued by Maurus and Danny.
  • The Beautiful Elite: She's Queen of Boudacia and her daughter clearly got her good looks from her.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Hurting her family is this to her as she makes it clear to Danny it won't end well for him if he betrays Mandie's trust or breaks her heart.
    • She doesn't tolerate anyone disrespecting her or her status as queen regardless of who they are, as she demonstrated to Brutis and Maurus.
    • She also seemed extra angry with Brutis's followers for not only the betrayal, but also ruining the dinner party she planned.
  • Best Her to Bed Her: She was already in an Arranged Marriage to Maurus but didn't fall in love with him until after he beat her in their first sparring match during their honeymoon as newlyweds.
  • Brains and Brawn: She’s nearly as powerful as her husband Maurus but she specializes in strategy.
  • Brutal Honesty:
    • She makes it clear she doesn't believe Brutis will ever beat Mandie in a fight, in addition to being very open about her opinion that Danny would make a much better mate for Mandie than someone as weak as Brutis.
    • She has no problem calling her husband out on his stubbornness and temper.
  • Dark Action Girl: Comes with being a Boudacian warrior and conqueror.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: She's stunned when Dieana reveals that she poisoned her goblet to capture her for Brutis' plans.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • She tries to keep her husband's destructive behavior under control.
    • She finds Brutis too much of an idiot to be a good husband to Mandie and vastly prefers Danny over him.
    • She strongly believes in upholding Boudacian law and tradition to the point she refuses to let her husband meddle in Mandie's relationship with Danny without following proper procedure.
      • Even if Milee didn't wholeheartedly support Mandie and Danny's relationship, she wouldn't let her husband use his royalty authority to veto the couple's legal engagement over a reason as petty as merely disliking Mandie's chosen mate since she's a staunch follower of Boudacian law.
    • She and her husband are disgusted that Vlad would endanger his own planet Earth just to claim Maddie.
    • She would prefer if Sam didn’t interfere with Mandie and Danny’s relationship out of petty jealousy.
  • Excellent Judge of Character: She approves of Danny as Mandie’s mate because she recognizes him as a better choice than the Jerkass Dumb Muscle Brutis.
  • Galactic Conqueror: She and her husband's main goal is to take over both the DP universe, as well as the FOP one.
  • Genius Bruiser: Is the brains of her family, and a deadly combatant in her own right.
  • Good Parents: For a warlord, anyway. She genuinely supports her daughter’s relationship with Danny since he makes Mandie happy and is a better choice for her than the narcissistic Psychopathic Manchild Brutis.
  • Happily Married: To Maurus, despite their differences.
  • Hidden Disdain Reveal: Her thoughts reveal she has a low opinion of Brutis, particularly his intelligence, and thinks Mandie can do better than him, which is why she's fine with her daughter marrying someone else like Danny. Although Milee has no problem making it clear that Mandie is a much more capable warrior than Brutis by reminding everyone he's never beaten her in a fight and she doesn't believe he ever will, plus Milee trusts Mandie more with a mission to scout Earth than Brutis. She's much less patient with Brutis' ego than Maurus and has no problem putting him in his place when he steps out of line.
  • Humble Parent, Spoiled Kids: She's more mature and level-headed than her temperamental and demanding daughter, Mandie. Downplayed as Mandie undergoes Character Development.
  • If You Ever Do Anything to Hurt Her...: She coldly threatens to have Danny’s ashes scattered across the solar system and whatever is left of his remains will decorate Mandie’s bed chambers if he betrays her daughter’s trust or breaks her heart.
  • Iron Lady: She's a stoic (unless dealing with her family) and serious leader.
  • I Want Grandkids: Both she and her husband want their daughter to marry and have children.
  • I Warned You: After Brutis’ betrayal has been dealt with, she plans to tell her husband “I told you so” for not listening to her when she warned him that trusting Brutis was mistake on Maurus’ part.
  • Join or Die: She’s willing to let Danny marry Mandie as long as he becomes an asset to Boudacia since his great power could make him a decent addition, otherwise he’ll be deemed a threat that needs to be eliminated.
  • Lady of War: She has a professional and composed demeanor.
  • Let Her Grow Up, Dear: Since she's much more understanding of Mandie's romance with Danny and is losing her patience with her husband's stubbornness, Milee gives Mandie her blessing to marry Danny regardless of Maurus' issues with their union.
  • Like Mother, Like Daughter: As Milee has pointed out to Maurus, Mandie is a fierce fighter like her who will only settle for a husband who is strong enough to beat her in battle. She's also where Mandie got her craftiness from.
  • Mama Bear:
    • While she likes Danny, she makes it clear to him he will pay dearly if he hurts Mandie.
    • She doesn’t appreciate Sam wanting to shoot her daughter.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name is a play on the word "melee", meaning "fight", fitting for her warrior nature.
  • Meet the In-Laws: She ends up meeting Danny when he and Maurus rescue her from Brutis’ goons. While she acts cordial to Danny and approves of him being Mandie’s future husband, she makes it clear she won’t tolerate any treachery from him nor would she like it if he hurts Mandie.
  • Mistaken Identity: Upon arriving at Boudacia, Sam tries to shoot Milee because she believes she’s Mandie, who Sam thinks is responsible for Brutis sending a squad to capture Danny.
  • Mood-Swinger: Has shades of this since one minute, she goes from coldly threatening Danny to cheerfully acting like nothing’s wrong. Danny definitely figures out that Mandie inherited this quality from her mom.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Milee didn’t have a last name in canon or Flower princess11's previous fanfic but here, she’s from the house of Destroyall.
  • Noble Demon: Downplayed on the “noble” part but while an ambitious ruler, she does have a strong sense of honor and is genuinely very loving towards her family.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: Due to lacking the arrogance and hotheadedness of Maurus and Brutis, Milee is the only one (besides Mandie) who takes Danny seriously as a threat and recognizes him as a very capable warrior, instead of dismissing him as weak because of his thin appearance.
  • Not So Above It All: While a proud Boudacian, she loves food and TV from Earth.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Her and her husband consider Vlad to be just as much of an egotistical scumbag as Brutis for putting his homeplanet Earth at risk just for the sake of power and making Maddie his.
  • Older Than They Look: She’s a grown woman but looks only a little older than Mandie.
  • Only Sane Woman: She and her daughter are the most rational and realistic people on their planet because they’re the only ones who see Brutis for what he really is and prefer Danny to become Mandie’s mate.
  • Open-Minded Parent: She accepts Mandie's engagement to Danny and her idea to form an alliance with Earth since she views these as beneficial to Boudacia.
  • Parent-Preferred Suitor: She doesn't hide that she would prefer Mandie marry Danny Phantom instead of Brutis since she's interested in having her grandchildren inherit Danny's ghost powers and sees him as a major trade-up over Brutis.
  • Perfectly Arranged Marriage: She was arranged to marry Maurus when they were teenagers since they were both royalty of their respective worlds and he was the fiercest of her allies. They fell in love after he beat her in their first sparring match during their honeymoon as newlyweds.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Unlike Maurus, she fully approves of Mandie's romance with Danny and agrees with her decision not to invade Earth to avoid causing any problems with her potential future son-in-law.
    • She invites Danny over to a peaceful dinner on Boudacia to get to know him better as her potential future son-in-law.
    • Unlike her husband, she's very friendly to Danny upon meeting him for the first time and is fine with him calling her "Mom" after he marries Mandie.
  • Pragmatic Villainy:
    • She doesn't appreciate her husband destroying their stuff during his rampages, especially since it was imported off-world so they can't replace it.
    • She's fine with making an alliance with Earth instead of conquering it if it's more beneficial.
    • She's more than happy to have Danny become Mandie's mate because he's a better choice than an idiot like Brutis and can provide strong offspring that'll inherit his ghost powers.
    • Milee only set up an Arranged Marriage between Mandie and Mark Chang to secure the trust and cooperation of the Yugopotamia.
    • Milee would've been fine with Maurus and Mandie overthrowing the Yugopotamian royal family if they had waited until they gained more control over the inner structure of their military.
    • She won't push Mandie into an Arranged Marriage with Brutis because the royal family already has the trust and cooperation of his family so they don't need to secure it, especially since Brutis has nothing new to offer them that his family hasn't already done so for generation.
    • As annoying and foolish as Brutis is, she would prefer if Mandie didn’t kill him out of hatred because his family is very useful and it would create tension with the other noble houses in a political disaster. Milee changes her mind when Brutis reveals himself to be a traitor by overthrowing the royal family so she seeks to punish him and his supporters for their treason.
  • Purple Is Powerful: She's a strong warrior and has long purple hair, which Mandie inherited from her.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: She's much more patient and understanding with Mandie than Maurus. She also fully supports her daughter's romance with Danny because she views him as a much better choice than Brutis.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni:
    • She's the Blue to her husband's Red, being the more calm and logical of the pair.
    • She’s the Blue to her daughter Mandie’s Red as she usually keeps her daughter’s temper in check and reminds her to focus on the big picture.
  • Rules Lawyer: She's very knowledgeable about Boudacian tradition and frequently reminds her husband they can't marry their daughter off to Brutis unless she consents or he beats her in battle.
  • Sane Boss, Psycho Henchmen: She's much more reasonable and pragmatic than her Ax-Crazy Dumb Muscle subordinate, Brutis. This is one of the reasons why she supports Mandie's relationship with Danny as she views him as a major improvement over Brutis.
  • Shipped On Deck: She's very pleased that Mandie has started dated Danny since considers him an improvement over Brutis.
  • Shipper with an Agenda: She supports Mandie's relationship with Danny partly because she wants grandkids who inherit his ghost powers.
  • Simple Solution Won't Work: When Maurus suggests marrying Mandie off to Brutis, Milee shoots it down by pointing out 1) Mandie utterly loathes him to the point she'd likely end up killing him and 2) Brutis hasn't legally earned her hand in marriage since he's always failed to beat her in combat so they can't force Mandie to wed him.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Like her daughter, she is a tall and gorgeous woman. It's clear where Mandie got her looks from.
  • Strong and Skilled: She’s a seasoned warrior who's tough enough to beat up a squad of elite Boudacian commandos single-handedly.
  • Super Breeding Program: She encourages Mandie to pursue a romantic relationship with Danny in the hopes of getting adorable grandchildren that inherit his ghost powers.
  • Tranquil Fury: When she gets angry, it's much more subdued than her bombastic husband as she merely settles for berating whoever annoys her.
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: She's a beautiful Green-Skinned Space Babe while her husband is a werewolf-like alien.
  • Unholy Matrimony: She sincerely fell in love with her husband after losing to him in their first fight. She is the only one capable of calming Maurus down whenever he loses his temper.
  • Villain Has a Point:
    • She loves reminding her husband that Brutis has never beaten Mandie so they can't press the two to get married.
    • She's right that Mandie will never agree to marry Brutis because she hates him for being too obnoxious and weak to meet her standards, and will only go for someone who's her equal.
    • She knows Brutis is too stupid to make a good husband to Mandie and doesn’t want her offspring to inherit his idiocy.
  • Villain Over for Dinner: Inverted. She invites the superhero Danny Phantom over for dinner at her castle on Boudacia to get to know her future son-in-law better.
  • Villains Out Shopping: She's a fearsome warlord who enjoys Earthern TV shows, fine dining, and going to Planet Spa.
  • Villain Respect:
    • Unlike Maurus and Brutis, she is genuinely impressed by Danny's power and thinks he'll make a good mate for Mandie.
    • She’s slightly impressed that Tucker can hack into Boudacia’s security system with just his PDA.
  • Villain Takes an Interest: She's more than fine with Mandie marrying Danny since she believes the ghostly hero can be a useful ally in Boudacia's mission to conquer the universe or at the very least provide the royal family with powerful offspring that have inherited his powers.
  • Villainous Valor: Being imprisoned doesn’t stop her from fighting for the sake of her family and kingdom.
  • Women Are Wiser: She is calmer and more pragmatic compared to her violent, war-hungry husband. She agrees with Mandie that Brutis is not a good match for her.
  • Women Prefer Strong Men: She fell in love with Maurus in their Arranged Marriage after he defeated her in their first sparring match during their honeymoon as newlyweds.
  • Worthy Opponent: Aside from Mandie, she’s the only Boudacian who recognizes Danny as a dangerous adversary but greatly respects him for his power and skills as a warrior, to the point she completely supports his relationship with her daughter.
  • Xanatos Gambit: If Mandie marries Danny Phantom then Milee either gets a powerful ally or at least her daughter will provide strong offspring that inherit their father's ghost powers
  • Younger Than They Look: She looks like she could pass for Mandie’s older sister instead of her mother. In fact, Sam even briefly mistook her for Mandie at their first meeting.

Royal Court

    General Brutis
An arrogant Boudacian general and a suitor for Princess Mandie.
  • 0% Approval Rating: After his coup against the royal family fails, he becomes a wanted fugitive who's even been deserted by Vlad, and what few supporters he has left refuse to associate with him any further out of fear of punishment.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: He's a haughty, chauvinistic Boudacian warrior who wishes to marry Mandie, who'd rather remarry Mark Chang than him.
  • Accidental Misnaming: When reminding Mandie of her defeat from Timmy, he calls him "Turnbaum", only for Mandie to punch him and remind him his name is "Turner".
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: He shamelessly tries to persuade Vlad and Sam to fight Danny on his behalf when the ghost boy challenges him during the rebellion against Brutis’ coup. They refuse since it’s Brutis' fight and they don’t do his bidding.
  • Aliens Are Bastards: He’s the most vile Boudacian shown in the series.
  • Alternate Species Counterpart:
    • Brutis is a Boudacian who acts exactly like Dash to the point Team Phantom calls him “Space Dash.”
    • Danny calls him an “Aragon Knockoff” because they’re both sexist pricks obsessed with marrying a girl by force just for the sake of power.
  • Always Second Best: It infuriates him to no end that Mandie is much more interested in Danny, despite just meeting him, than she ever was in Brutis despite him knowing her since childhood.
  • Always Someone Better: Mandie and Danny are this to him when it comes to fighting, a fact that enrages him to no end.
  • Amazon Chaser: He has his eye on Mandie, who frequently beats the stuffing out of him.
  • Ambition Is Evil: While already a pompous buffoon and first-rate misogynistic creep, Brutis' villainy is mainly driven by his obsession with becoming king and he doesn't care what means he has to use to achieve it.
  • Ambitious, but Lazy:
    • He wants to be king of Boudacia, but would rather force Mandie into marriage by using her loved ones as leverage and kill her boyfriend Danny rather than take Maurus’ advice to improve himself and train harder so he can become strong enough to beat Mandie in combat for her hand.
    • He wants to prove he’s a better warrior than Danny, but would rather cheat by trying to use Vlad’s nanites or get Sam to fight the ghost boy herself on his behalf than take on Danny in a fair fight because he's too scared of losing.
  • Amusing Injuries: Regularly suffers brutal thrashes from Mandie and Danny as a consequence of his awful personality.
  • And Now You Must Marry Me: He settles for forcing Mandie into marrying him by capturing her parents to use as leverage.
  • Attempted Homewrecker: He still tries to marry Mandie even when she becomes Danny's girlfriend because all that matters to him is becoming king.
  • Arch-Enemy:
    • He is this to Mandie since she hates him far more than anyone else in her life, including Mark Chang and Timmy Turner. She even has a training dummy that looks like Brutis.
    • He sees Danny as this because the latter caught Mandie's interest and is obsessed with destroying him so Brutis can claim Mandie for himself. It's one-sided because Danny only sees him as an annoying jerk at worst and mainly hates him for harassing Mandie.
  • Aristocrats Are Evil: Comes from a wealthy noble family and is a total jerk.
  • Armor Is Useless: His armor does nothing to stop Mandie and Danny from beating the snot out of him.
  • Armored Villains, Unarmored Heroes: He wears battle armor while Danny wears a jumpsuit. Not that it protects him.
  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: He considers himself superior to Danny because he's an elite Boudacian soldier, but in reality is just a violent punk with delusions of grandeur.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Along with kidnapping Mandie’s loved ones to force her into marriage and plotting to destroy Earth out of some petty grudge towards Danny, Brutis admits he used Boudacian taxes collected from the citizens to pay for the wedding dress he chose for Mandie personally. Danny, Milee, and Maurus are not amused by this, with the former outright admitting all Brutis is really good at is being a scumbag and he's already acting like a tyrant despite not even being crowned yet.
  • Asshole Victim: Neither Danny nor Mandie have a problem beating him to a pulp since he brings it on himself for being a thoroughly unlikable prick who antagonizes them every chance he gets. Mandie even makes it clear she would've killed him a long time ago if her parents didn't forbid her from doing so.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: A general in the Boudacian army and capable of giving Mandie some trouble in a fight.
  • Assumed Win: Whenever he's up against anyone, he presumes the fight's already won. Reality always gives him a brutal wake-up call but constantly getting stomped never registers.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: His only battle strategy is charging in and swinging his sword. When angered, he resorts to lashing out wildly, which makes him more predictable and is taken advantage of by clever opponents like Danny.
  • Attention Whore:
    • He's obsessed with showing off and obtaining glory to improve his standing with the royal family. He does not take being humiliated well, not that it stops from Mandie and Danny from doing it frequently when they beat him up in a fight.
    • He craves glory and is obsessed with getting rid of Danny so Mandie will stop focusing all her attention on the ghost boy.
  • Ax-Crazy: Not exactly stable to begin, but if his ego is even slightly dented, like in his fights with Danny, he losses all composure and flies into a homicidal rage. He gets even worse when he decides to destroy Earth just to get revenge on Danny and Mandie for crossing him.
  • Backhanded Compliment: The nicest thing he says about Danny is that he’s tricky and slippery for an inferior creature.
  • Badass Cape: He likes to wear a red cape whenever he goes to conquer worlds or just wants to show off to Mandie and his fan girls.
  • Beauty Is Bad: Considered very handsome by Boudacian standards, and he's a narcissistic asshole.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Brutis wants nothing more than to fight Danny. He got his wish and a massive beating.
  • The Berserker: This is Brutis' main fighting style, especially when he loses his temper (which is always). He fights with a reckless abandon, employing pure brute force with no thought to defense or strategy. Intelligent fighters like Danny have taken advantage of this to humiliate him by taunting Brutis to make his fighting sloppier and more predictable.
  • Berserk Button: Being insulted in any way is this for him, as his fragile ego can't handle any criticism or losing at anything.
  • Boss Banter: He loves to run his mouth while fighting Mandie or Danny by constantly boasting about his supposed superiority and being condescending to his opponents while they just shut him up with a punch to the face.
  • The Bully: Brutis gets a kick out of throwing his weight around and intimidating anyone he sees as beneath him.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Vastly overestimates his own abilities constantly, which results in him making a complete fool of himself when facing Mandie and Danny in battle.
  • Big Jerk on Campus: As Danny notes, Brutis is basically the Boudacian version of this. He's incredibly handsome, good at fighting (which is basically the Boudacian equivalent of football), and everybody in Boudacia except Mandie and Milee pretty much worships the ground he walks on. But underneath those muscles and that chiseled face, he's a selfish and entitled Psychopathic Manchild who is willing to manipulate and murder anyone to get what what he wants.
  • Blatant Lies: Due to his overinflated ego, he refuses to admit that he lost to Danny because the ghost boy is a better warrior and always comes up with some ridiculous excuse to explain his loss as a pathetic attempt to save his wounded pride. Mandie either ignores this or calls him out on being too stupid to accept his defeats.
  • Blinded by Rage: He completely loses his shit while fighting Danny and is practically foaming at the mouth with rage. Deconstructed as Danny takes advantage of this by purposely riling him up with insults and humiliating him in battle to make him an even sloppier fighter.
  • Blood Knight: He's just as, if not more, violent and temperamental as Mandie. He really loves fighting and causing destruction. Then again, it's a requirement for any good Boudacian soldier's résumé.
  • Blue Blood: Is from a noble family.
  • Brainless Beauty: Rare male example. Mandie describes him as "a handsome face and an empty head".
  • Break the Haughty: Brutis is so concerned with projecting an image of himself as being "the best" and is so used to having everything go his way that every time Mandie rejects him and humiliates him in a fight, Brutis becomes absolutely livid, to the point he absolutely refuses to give up until he wins Mandie's hand in marriage. He only gets worse from there.
  • Broken Pedestal:
    • Becomes this to Maurus when he betrays the royal family, making him finally realize why Mandie justifiably hated Brutis all these years.
    • He also becomes this to Dieana upon revealing he always planned to marry Mandie instead of her.
    • Most of his followers turn on him in the final battle at his forced wedding with Mandie after getting sick of his hypocritical, underhanded Dirty Coward nature.
  • Boisterous Weakling: He is all talk and a Large Ham but he's even more pathetic in fight than even the Box Ghost.
  • Broken Ace: He's handsome, strong, a skilled fighter, has women falling at his feet, and is adored by everyone... except the only girl he actually wants. He just can't get over the fact that Mandie isn't interested in him, and due to his pride and obsession, he gradually becomes more psychotic over the course of the story, especially in his battles with Danny. It never ends well for him.
  • The Brute: Is bigger and bulkier than Dash, as well as stupider given his preference to swing his blade wildly and relying more on strength than skill.
  • Bullying a Dragon: He never passes up the chance to antagonize Mandie or Danny, only stopping when they retaliate physically or occasionally when he's sufficiently threatened.
  • Bullfight Boss: A non-video game example. His preferred method of fighting is charging at his opponent, which Danny has taken advantage of by tricking him into charging into objects like trees.
  • Canon Foreigner: Created for this fanfic.
  • Can't Catch Up: He's aware that strength and skill are nowhere near Mandie or Danny's level despite all his training and it infuriates him to end. Not that he'd ever admit it, of course.
  • Can't Kill You, Still Need You: This is the only reason why Mandie hasn't chopped his head off already because he comes from a noble family and her parents wish to avoid causing tension with the other noble houses by executing one of their members without just cause.
  • Can't Take Criticism: He responds to insults by throwing a tantrum at best and flying into a murderous rage at worst.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: After blowing up his ship that Vlad Plasmius stole to escape from Boudacia when they lost to the heroes in their coup, Brutis says, “Caped buffoon should think twice…before double crossing a double-crosser…”
  • The Casanova: He is considered popular with females, with the exception of Mandie.
  • Casanova Wannabe: Is this to Mandie as his attempts to marry her basically amount to harassing her and refusing to take no for an answer until she sends him to the infirmary.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: At his forced wedding to Mandie, Danny challenges Brutis to a fight for the Boudacian threat where he can’t use Vlad’s nanites. When Brutis tries to use them anyway, it fails because Tucker already shut the nanites down; when he tries to persuade Sam into fighting Danny on his behalf, she just blasts him; finally, when Brutis' followers turn on him for being a shameless, hypocritical Dirty Coward, he runs away. Brutis is disqualified for breaking the rules and forfeits the battle by fleeing before it's is over, so Danny wins and hands the kingdom back over to Mandie’s family.
  • The Chew Toy: Any unfortunate or humiliating thing that happens to him happens not only because he deserves it, but also for the amusement of the readers. Mandie's pet Fufu uses him as an actual chew toy every time Mandie orders her to attack him.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Brutis' only true loyalty is to himself as he's fine with using others to serve his own agenda and throwing them away once they've served their purpose, as is the case with King Maurus, Dieana, and Vlad. Mandie is aware of this as she knows better than anyone how manipulative Brutis is and outright calls him the most untrustworthy excuse of a male in any universe.
  • Classic Villain: He represents Pride and Lust, with elements of Wrath and Envy mixed in along with a heavy dose of Ambition.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Mandie admits that Brutis fights dirtier than most Boudacians.
    • He captures Maurus by stunning him when his back is turned.
    • He knows he's no match for Milee in a fight so he sends Dieana and a Boudacian commando unit to poison and apprehend her.
    • He sends Boudacian soldiers and droids to capture Danny by using some strange alien knockout gas to render him unconscious.
  • Cock Fight: He likes to think that he has this with Danny over Mandie. Only two problems: he's a condescending asshole she wouldn't be interested in anyway, and she already has Danny as a boyfriend. He only considers the latter to be an actual problem, one he can solve via challenging Danny to a duel. Danny fights only because Brutis is too stubborn to take "no" for an answer and beating him to a pulp is the only way to get him to leave them alone. Mandie wants to settle this by marrying Danny as soon as possible so Brutis will be forced to give up on winning her hand.
  • Control Freak: He treats Mandie like property since he blatantly doesn't care about her feelings or wishes and acts like a jealous, overbearing stalker by constantly interfering in her relationship with Danny since as far as he's concerned, she belongs to him and him alone.
  • Corrupted Character Copy: Of Grish the Beautiful from Planet Sheen. Both are brightly colored alien warriors famous for their good looks and combat prowess, have a crush on their planet’s princess and are jealous of the main character for being the object of her affections despite his insistence on not liking her, and battle the hero for the princess’ honor. But while Grish was vain, stubborn, and temperamental, he was ultimately a decent guy who genuinely loved Princess Oom and an honorable fighter who was a Graceful Loser when Sheen defeated him in combat by conceding that he is the better man; he also made peace with Sheen by putting aside his jealousy to work with him to get back together with Oom. Brutis has NONE of Grish’s redeeming qualities and is just an entitled Psychopathic Manchild who treats Mandie as a trophy since he only cares about becoming king. He is willing to get rid of Danny by any means to make it easier to claim Mandie and is such a Sore Loser he goes into a murderous frenzy whenever Danny defeats him, making him even more determined to kill the ghost boy.
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: When he learns that Mandie is in love with Danny Phantom and not Brutis, he becomes so blind with jealousy that he recklessly challenges Danny to a fight, only to get his butt handed to him.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: He's never managed to beat Mandie for her hand in marriage and his fights with Danny are even more laughably one-sided as his strength pales in comparison to the ghost boy's.
  • Curtains Match the Window: He has red hair and eyes.
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype:
    • Of the Proud Warrior Race Guy, showing how obnoxious and entitled someone with a "might makes right" mentality can be due to believing that strength lets them take whatever they want.
    • Also for the Hopeless Suitor. Even without meeting Danny, Brutis still wouldn't have had a chance with Mandie because of his horrible personality. Even after she makes it very clear she doesn't like him, he refuses to respect her wishes and attempts any other means to get her to marry him.
    • Of the A Hero to His Hometown. Brutis is shown to be beloved and admired by the people of his planet but for purely superficial reasons like his looks, noble status, fighting prowess, strength, and similar views (i.e. obsessing over power and conquest). As such, he's able to manipulate them into siding with him into committing heinous actions, such as King Maurus or Dieana.
  • Dark Is Evil: Wears black armor and is a vicious, conceited bastard obsessed with conquering worlds.
  • Death Glare: Likes to give these out whenever he blows his top, which is always.
  • Defiant to the End: He never knows when to quit because of his temper and ego, so Danny and Mandie either have to knock him out or beat him so badly he can’t fight anymore.
  • Desecrating the Dead: He plans to have Danny's body studied after killing him. Not that Mandie would let him live long enough to do either.
  • Detrimental Determination: His massive ego makes him incapable of knowing when to give up no matter how obviously outclassed he is in a fight, which only leaves him suffering further pain and humiliation when facing Mandie and Danny.
  • Didn't Think This Through: His specialty as Brutis' arrogance causes him to act without thinking of the consequences.
    • Challenging Mandie and Danny to battle only results in him being left beaten and broken on the ground.
    • Maurus points out to him that his plan to forcefully marry Mandie won't work because she hates Brutis too much to ever obey him. It's unlikely him using her parents as leverage will change that since Mandie knows better than anyone how untrustworthy Brutis is so she'd never believe he'd ever let them go or keep them alive.
  • Did Not Get the Girl: Mandie was never into him.
  • Did You Actually Believe...?: After trying to rebel against their forced wedding, Mandie makes it clear even her old self would never marry a weakling like Brutis. When she asks if he really thought she’d ever marry him, he responds with “Kinda”.
  • Dirty Coward:
    • He has no problem hitting Maurus while he's chained.
    • He's accused of this by Mandie for suggesting sending an entire army just to fight Danny since there's no glory to gain in such a disgraceful style of battle.
    • Mandie also calls him out on his lack of honor for allying with a villain like Vlad Plasmius to force her into marriage by holding her loved ones hostage.
    • Everyone, even his own followers, call Brutis out on this during his forced wedding to Mandie for resorting to cheating, underhanded tactics to try to beat Danny, like trying to convince Sam to destroy him on Brutis’ behalf or use Vlad’s nanites to kill the ghost boy. Brutis’ followers end up turning on him for being a dishonorable coward unfit to be the next king of Boudacia.
  • Disappeared Dad: Maurus says his father died in battle fighting for their world's glory.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Upon becoming king of Boudacia, he plans to destroy the Earth just to get back at Danny and Mandie for humiliating him there.
  • Domestic Abuser: He would clearly be this to Mandie since he only regards her as a trophy that he gets mad at for defying him and doesn't care at all about her feelings since he's fine with plotting to usurp and eventually kill her family and Danny, the guy she loves, just to take over Boudacia.
  • Dragon with an Agenda: Although he, like the rest of the Boudacian Council, ostensibly answers to the royal family, Brutis is clearly following his own agenda to become king as he has no problem going behind their back to spy on Mandie and follow her to Earth.
  • Driven by Envy: He wants to kill Danny because he can’t stand anyone but him marrying Mandie and becoming king, especially not an outsider who just met her while he’s known Mandie for years yet she won’t give him the time of day. The fact that Danny can easily beat him in a fight even more than Mandie only fuels his envy.
  • Dumb Muscle: He's basically an alien version of Dash, but is an even bigger and more obnoxious brainless meathead.
  • Elite Mook: He's considered the finest warrior on Boudacia, with only the royal family surpassing him in power.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Danny likes to insult Brutis by giving him these. His favorites are "Bruty", "Dorkus", and "Doofus".
  • Entitled Bastard:
    • Believes being a nobleman and one of Boudacia's top soldiers make him the only one worthy of the throne and Mandie's hand in marriage, regardless of the number of losses he has against her when they fight or the fact that Mandie hates his guts.
    • He’s actually surprised that Sam would attack him instead of Danny when he offers her the chance to get rid of Danny as revenge for picking Mandie over her and for a position of honor in his empire, since he doesn’t comprehend that Sam is genuinely loyal to Danny regardless of how upset she is at him.
    • ** As far as he’s concerned, he’s meant to be the next king of Boudacia, his own weaknesses, Boudacia’s traditions, and Mandie’s feelings be damned.
  • Entitled to Have You: He sees Mandie as the only girl worthy of him and thinks she should be with him, not caring how she feels on the matter. He views her as a prize to win and nothing more.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good:
    • Brutis seems genuinely incapable of understanding that not everyone is as power-hungry and self-serving as he is. Not only can he never get it through his head why Danny rejects Mandie, but also he doesn't even see Mandie as a person and only thinks of her as a tool for acquiring power and royalty. When Danny does decide to date Mandie, Brutis assumes he's come around to the idea of conquest, which only enrages Danny since he can't stomach the thought of being compared to Brutis.
    • When Danny uses his intangibility to free Maurus from his prison cell, he speculates that Brutis didn’t make the werewolf alien’s cuffs ghost-proof like he did with Danny’s because he never expected the ghost boy to team up with Mandie’s dad.
    • He’s incapable of understanding what genuine loyalty is, as he’s actually surprised that Sam refuses to attack Danny on his orders for the chance at revenge over him choosing Mandie instead of her or a position of honor in his empire. Brutis doesn't grasp that Sam still cares about Danny as a friend and would never betray him, no matter how she may feel about him dating Mandie.
    • He knows Mandie hates him but can’t figure out that it’s because he’s a rude, possessive, annoying, entitled, sexist, and spoiled Psychopathic Manchild with delusions of grandeur who only sees her as a tool to make him king. After she reveals she still won’t marry him after he forces her into a wedding by threatening her loved loves, Brutis outright asks her why despite his good looks, wealth, pedigree, prestigious noble family name, and military background, to which Mandie points out she doesn’t love him and never will, especially since the old her would never marry a weakling and the new her would never marry a madman. Brutis just gets angry.
  • Evil Counterpart: Brutis serves as this to both Danny and Mandie:
    • Mandie: Both start off as shallow, scheming, power-hungry, hotheaded, arrogant, immature, unpleasant, entitled, ruthless, stubborn, and obsessed with someone who can't stand them for their awful personalities, as well as willing to use unethical means in order to make said person theirs at any cost. However, Mandie slowly outgrows these traits thanks to Danny's positive influence, and becomes a kinder person who develops a much healthier relationship with him in the process, while Brutis never seems to change. Brutis is what Mandie could or still be if she never met Danny.
    • Danny: Both Danny and Brutis are suitors to Mandie, but they couldn't be more different.
      • While Danny's appearance could be considered cute at best and plain at worst, he proves to be a truly kind and selfless boy who falls in love with Mandie when she shows the softer side of her personality and begins to change for the better. As for Brutis, he has the looks and princely air that wins the hearts of females, but he's really a self-entitled jerk who only cares about Mandie's beauty and her connection to the throne.
      • Also, Danny didn't like Mandie at first but warmed up to her after she started changing for the better, treats her as a person, and couldn't care less about power, whereas Brutis has always wanted Mandie's hand in marriage but due to his arrogance and Entitled to Have You mentality, he just sees Mandie as a broodmare and doesn't actually care about her as anything more than a path to the crown since he wants to be king. That, and he also sees Mandie as great eye candy, so in his mind that means he's got to have her, whether he actually loves her or not.
  • Evil Gloating: He can never resist indulging in this given his pompous attitude. Deconstructed as Danny has no problem taking advantage of this to hit Brutis when his guard is down while talking during a fight.
  • Evil Is Bigger: Inverted in one sense - he is much larger and more imposing than Danny, but is far weaker.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Brutis loves talking about how great he is and is always loud enough for everyone to hear it.
  • Evil Is Petty:
    • His main grudge with Danny is for catching Mandie's interest and humiliating him in all the challenges that Brutis himself issues.
    • He visits King Maurus in the dungeon just to gloat to him about his plans to force Mandie and take over Boudacia.
    • Doesn't get any pettier than wanting to destroy a planet like Earth just to get payback on Danny and Mandie for crossing him.
    • He makes it clear he'll only keep Mandie's parents alive long enough for them to see him and Mandie get married but he'll dispose of them afterwards.
    • He's so enraged by Maurus' insults that he punches him, which also hurts his hand.
    • He's mad at Maurus for making Mandie marry Mark Chang instead of himself.
  • He reveals to Maurus that his betrayal is partly motivated by the fact his fragile ego can't stand the fact that Mandie prefers Danny over him.
    • He doesn’t waste any time taunting Danny when he has him imprisoned about his plans to rule over Boudacia by marrying Mandie by force, then destroying the Earth.
    • He throws Danny into the same prison cell he’s keeping Maurus which has a few viewing screens so they both can watch him marry Mandie, blow up Earth, and ascend to power.
    • He plans to go back to his original universe to destroy Timmy Turner just so he can prove Maurus wrong about the human boy being a better warrior than him for defeating Mandie.
    • Brutis forces all the nobles and elites of Boudacia to attend his Arranged Marriage with Mandie or else face capital punishment of the future king’s choosing.
    • Brutis goes out of his way to humiliate Mandie during their Arranged Marriage by making her wear the gaudy wedding dress he bought her, forcing all the Boudacian elites to attend the wedding, and broadcasting the whole wedding to all of Boudacia.
    • He’d rather kill Mandie than let anyone else marry her.
    • He’d sooner destroy Boudacia than let Danny rule it.
  • Evil Plan: Acquire the crown and army of the Boudacian Kingdom by marrying Mandie, first by seducing or beating her in battle. Even when that fails, he plans to use any means to accomplish it such as getting rid of her betrothed, Danny, and forcing her to marry him.
  • Eviler than Thou:
    • Danny finds him much more vile and unbearable than Mandie to the point he pities her for having to deal with Brutis all the time.
    • Even Vlad realizes what a rotten person Brutis is.
    • Mandie’s parents finally realize he’s nothing but a dishonorable coward when he takes them and Danny hostage to blackmail their daughter into marrying him.
  • Evil Wears Black: He wears dark battle armor to show off his muscles.
  • Expy: He is based on Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast" and De'Cine from "Superman: The Animated Series".
  • Face–Heel Turn: He goes from an overly ambitious soldier and Abhorrent Admirer of the crown princess to a coup-staging backstabber willing to get rid of the royal family and marry Mandie by force in order to take over Boudacia and destroy Earth over a petty grudge.
  • Failure Is the Only Option: Mandie lampshades that Brutis has no chance of defeating Danny at all. Sure enough, the ghost boy only considers the arrogant Boudacian nobleman a nuisance and swiftly kicks his butt without breaking a sweat every time they fight.
  • Fake Ultimate Hero: He genuinely believes he's Boudacia's best soldier, but he's really an over-glorified chump.
  • Fake Ultimate Mook: Despite looking intimidating, he's not very strong in a fight against Danny or Mandie.
  • Fangs Are Evil: He has sharp canines that show how much of a vicious bastard he is.
  • Fantastic Racism: He looks down on anyone who's not Boudacian.
  • The Farmer and the Viper: Brutis repays Maurus for all his years of favoritism by betraying the royal family and using the king and queen as leverage to force their daughter Mandie into marrying him so he can become king of Boudacia.
  • Fatal Flaw: He has four:
    • Hubris. Brutis believes he's way better than he really is and better than anybody else, which makes him think nothing about fighting people way above his weight class. In his arrogance, he is reckless, deaf to counsel or warnings, and unable to evaluate himself or learn from his mistakes.
    • Temper. He has a really fragile ego and is easily offended, which causes him to lash out foolishly against opponents he doesn't stand a chance against such as Mandie and Danny, who easily beat him into submission.
    • Entitlement. He thinks Mandie belongs only to him and his obsession with marrying her only results in him constantly losing his battles agains Danny and Mandie in increasingly humiliating ways.
    • His big mouth. Brutis is incapable of knowing when to shut up, which gets him into trouble since Mandie has no problem hitting him whenever he annoys her.
  • Faux Action Guy: For a supposed elite Boudacian warrior, his track record is FAR from impressive on account of him losing every battle he's in. Danny and Mandie only regard as a nuisance that they have to beat up just to make him leave them alone and even Mandie's pet Fufu can easily handle Brutis without transforming.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He can pretend to behave himself around the king, queen, and royal court. Only Mandie and Danny fully see him for the shallow, manipulative creep he really is.
  • Feeling Oppressed by Their Existence: Another factor that's driving his animosity towards Danny, other than his jealousy for the latter being Mandie's chosen mate and a much stronger fighter than himself. He's bothered by Danny's presence altogether and wants to get rid of him so he can have Mandie and the throne.
  • Feet of Clay: Although Brutis is said to be an elite Boudacian soldier with an impressive military background and has a very muscular build, he turns out to be completely useless in a fight as Mandie, Danny, and Fufu can testify to.
  • Fiery Redhead: Has red hair and is a hotheaded idiot.
  • The Fool: He always arrogantly rushes into every situation he finds himself in without thinking and just presumes he'll win. He never does, and it always turns around to bite him.
  • General Failure: Mandie makes it very clear she has a really low opinion of his abilities as a soldier. Milee feels the same way as she would rather send Mandie to scout Earth since she views her daughter as infinitely more capable than Brutis.
  • Generation Xerox: Brutis' father was also a famous soldier that had King Maurus' respect.
  • Glass Cannon: He's strong enough to destroy training droids and slash a tree in half with one sword strike but can't handle attacks from stronger opponents like Mandie and Danny. Figuratively, it also applies to his character; regardless of how insufferably arrogant he acts, Brutis' ego is so fragile that whenever he feels that it's being threatened, he lashes out in the manner of a violent tantrum. Basically, he can endure a hit but goes down when you deal him too many blows.
  • Glory Hound: Anything that promises to bring him fame or prestige will cause him to immediately rush to it, regardless of the costs or risks.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He wants to marry Mandie specifically because she is the crown princess, and won't stop at anything to do it. But what really snaps him is when he discovers that she actually likes a middle-class Earthling over him.
  • Gold Digger: The main reason why he wants to marry Mandie because she's the heir to the throne and he wants to become king.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Is very ill-tempered, with Danny easily capable of pushing his buttons by insulting him and beating him in battle.
  • Ham-to-Ham Combat: Put him in a room with Mandie and have some popcorn handy.
  • Harmless Villain: Downplayed because he's an incredibly nasty piece of work; however, for as bad as he can be, Brutis tends to be more of a nuisance than an actual threat to Danny and Mandie since he's too weak to be a challenge to them. Subverted when he teams up with Vlad, launches a coup against the Boudacian royal family, kidnaps Danny, and blackmails Mandie to marry him in exchange for her loved ones' (temporary) safety.
  • Hate at First Sight: Even before Brutis met Danny, he hated the ghost boy with a burning passion for being the object of Mandie's desire, which only worsened after seeing Mandie act so affectionate with him. This hatred quickly evolved into murderous rage as he became obsessed with destroying Danny to make it easier to marry Mandie. The hatred is completely mutual as Danny has nothing but contempt and disdain for Brutis after seeing that he's every bit the obnoxious, sexist jerk Mandie described him as.
  • Hated by All: After betraying the royal family, casting Dieana aside, losing to the royalists, and disgracing himself by cheating in his battle with Danny at his forced wedding to Mandie, nobody can stand Brutis as even most of his followers turn on him after getting fed up with his nature as a Dirty Coward Opportunistic Bastard while Vlad abandons him to his fate.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Inverted. He prefers a sword but is only a hero in his own mind.
  • Heroic Build: Is even buffer than Dash, as Danny notices, but it's subverted as there's nothing heroic about his attitude or actions.
  • Heroic Wannabe: He wants to be hailed as Boudacia's greatest soldier but is nothing compared to Mandie's skills.
  • He-Man Woman Hater: He’s a power-hungry, sexist warrior who gets on Mandie’s nerves to no end since he makes it clear he only regards her as a prize he’s entitled to and an incubator for his future offspring. He’s also fine with forcing Mandie into an Arranged Marriage despite knowing she utterly hates him solely so he can ascend the throne and start a powerful lineage to rule Boudacia. He also treats his fangirls as annoyances at best.
  • Hidden Disdain Reveal: He first shows hints of his dislike of Maurus when he mentally calls him a "foolish hairball", but he fully reveals his hatred when he imprisons the king in the Boudacian dungeons and admits he always hated kissing up to Maurus just to stay on the royal family's good side.
  • High Hopes, Zero Talent: He wants to be a great warrior but vastly overestimates his own abilities and is no match for powerhouses like Mandie and Danny.
  • His Own Worst Enemy: Brutis brings all his suffering on himself thanks to his stupidity, ego, pigheadedness, and inability to know when to quit.
  • Honor Before Reason: Well, replace "honor" with "pride and stupidity" but Mandie points out to her dad that Brutis won't give up on harassing her and Danny because he's too much of a moron to figure out that the only reason he's still alive is because of Danny's mercy and Mandie's parents not letting her kill him.
  • Hopeless Suitor: Deconstructed. Even with Danny out of the picture, Brutis still wouldn't have had a chance with Mandie because she plain doesn't like him.
  • Hot-Blooded: When he gets angry, and it's very easy to see.
  • How the Mighty Have Fallen: He goes from a respected noble and decorated general to a disgraced coward and wanted fugitive after his coup against the royal family fails and all his followers abandon him.
  • Hypocrite:
    • He accuses Danny of being a weakling who only acts powerful. The hypocrisy completely flies over Brutis' empty head despite losing every single challenge he issues to Danny and Mandie.
    • He becomes furious when Danny admits he has no interest in marrying Mandie and thinks the ghost boy is disrespecting them, even though Brutis has far less respect for Mandie than Danny ever did as he only views her as a trophy to win and a meal ticket for the throne.
    • For someone who looks down on Earthlings, he has no problem teaming up with one like Vlad as long as it suits his purposes, even if they are just using each other.
    • He's mad at Danny for "stealing" Mandie from him even though it's pointed out she was never his because Brutis never beat her in battle, so he has no claim to the title of her suitor, and he's actually trying to steal Mandie from Danny since they're technically engaged according to Boudacian law.
    • He insults that Mandie has inherited her father's infamous temper and stubbornness, even though Brutis is just as guilty of possessing both qualities.
    • He preaches about the importance of upholding Boudacia's values but stubbornly refuses to accept Mandie and Danny's engagement despite it being according to tradition, along with the fact Brutis has no legal claim to the title of Mandie's fiancé since he's never beaten her in a fight.
    • He preaches about Boudacian might but relies on cowardly and underhanded tactics like ambushes and double-crosses to succeed.
      • Preaches about wanting to restore tradition and strength to Boudacia, yet as noted above, resorts to cowardly and underhanded tactics to win like trying to get someone to fight Danny for him and using nanobots to incapacitate Danny, Milee, and Maurus, breaking the rules of his and Danny's fight. Even his followers are disgusted by his blatant cowardice and turn against him.
    • He’s too much of an egomaniac and Sore Loser to admit that Danny is stronger than him so he stubbornly insists that the ghost boy only defeated him by cheating. However, Brutis himself is a cheater who shamelessly resorts to underhanded and cowardly methods to win like trying to kill Danny with the nanites blood put in his bloodstream or fruitlessly trying to convince Sam to fight on his behalf instead of facing Danny himself when he’s challenged to single combat by the ghost boy.
      • He calls Danny a cowardly hypocrite for having Tucker interfere in their battle at Brutis' forced wedding to Mandie by hacking Vlad’s system when he had the spare remote and remotely shutting down the nanites, but ignores that he already broke the rules himself by trying to use the nanites to beat Danny. Even Brutis’ followers turn against him for his blatant cheating.
    • He finds Dieana irritating for not taking the hint that he won’t marry her but he refuses to leave Mandie alone no matter how much she makes it clear she utterly despises him.
    • He claims he wants to restore Boudacia’s glory but is fine with destroying it if it’s people refuse to bow to him, showing he never cared about his home planet as anything but a tool for his obsession with conquering the universe.
  • Hypocrite Has a Point: Hypocrisy aside, he is right that Mandie has a temper.
  • I Can Still Fight!: A negative example. His giant ego refuses to let him admit defeat in battle no matter how badly he's injured so Danny and Mandie have to either knock him out or leave him too hurt to move.
  • Idiot Ball: Danny lampshades that it was stupid of Brutis not to make Maurus’ cuffs ghost-proof like he did with Danny’s cuffs when he threw them both in the same prison cell, which made it easy for the ghost boy to free Maurus. Danny just figures Brutis never counted on him teaming up with Maurus to escape.
  • If I Can't Have You…: He’s willing to get rid of Mandie if he can’t have her as his bride.
  • Inadequate Inheritor: Mandie and Milee will never let Brutis near the throne since they know he'd be a lousy king.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: He has an absolutely massive ego but is also completely frustrated by his own inability to beat Danny or Mandie in battle.
  • Informed Ability: Is repeatedly said to be a great warrior and elite soldier but loses every fight he's in; he's lost to Danny, Mandie, and even Fufu repeatedly without scoring a single victory.
  • In Love with Looks: While he primarily wants to marry Mandie to become king, he admits that it's for her beauty too.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Deludes himself into believing he'll have a chance at marrying Mandie if he gets rid of Danny, ignoring the fact that Danny's MUCH stronger than him and Mandie would have his head if he did since she completely hates Brutis and would never marry him anyway.
  • Insecure Protagonist, Arrogant Antagonist: Danny is a noble, kind-hearted superhero that can be a bit socially awkward while Brutis is a narcissistic jerkass with an ego the size of a planet.
  • Insufferable Imbecile: Mandie describes Brutis as being "the most chauvinistic, pigheaded, vain and untrustworthy excuse of a male in any universe...", and she's quite on the money. Danny quickly comes to agree with her about Brutis being delusional, air-headed, conceited, sexist, rude, and a total weakling.
  • I Reject Your Reality: He absolutely refuses to accept that he has no chance of marrying Mandie or beating Danny and makes up moronic excuses for his failures to accomplish either.
  • It's All About Me:
    • At the end of the day, he's a selfish bastard who only cares about himself and constantly demands respect no matter what.
    • Power is all that matters to him since he’d rather destroy his own planet than let someone else rule it.
  • It's Personal: He is humiliated at constantly losing to Mandie and Danny, so he must "avenge" himself by beating them.
  • It Must Be Mine!: He refuses to let anyone else marry Mandie, especially Danny.
  • Jerkass: Danny and Mandie can't stand him for being a cruel, obnoxious idiot.
  • Jerkass at Your Discretion: He pretends to be a loyal soldier around Mandie’s parents and other Boudacians but when around Mandie or anyone he sees as beneath him, he reveals his true colors as a sexist, xenophobic asshole that’s obsessed with Mandie because he desperately wants to become king of Boudacia.
  • Jerk Jock: Is seen and described as this by Danny, and while Brutis isn't a football player, he fits this description to a T.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: He acts like a sycophant to the royal Boudacian family in hopes of becoming king and pretends to love Dieana just to manipulate her into helping him with his goals. Only Mandie can see him for the scheming, power-hungry asshole he truly is. His coup against the royal family, callous betrayal of Dieana, and blatant cheating in his duel with Danny expose his true nature for all to see.
  • Karmic Butt-Monkey: He's constantly rejected and beaten up by Mandie, makes a complete fool of himself every time he challenges Danny to a fight, and even loses to Mandie's pet Fufu. Given what a power-hungry, misogynistic creep he is, he deserves every ounce of it.
  • Kick the Dog: After Dieana is subdued when she crashes his forced wedding with Mandie, he tells her that on a scale of 1 to 10, she’s a 5 while Mandie is a 100.
  • Knight of Cerebus: While a pompous buffoon, he eventually establishes himself as a MUCH worse enemy than any of the Boudacians or Danny’s rogues gallery by staging a coup and threatening the lives of Mandie’s loved ones to force her into marriage, then having his droids destroy Boudacia just so he can rule over what’s left of it.
  • Lack of Empathy: He doesn't care about anyone but himself.
  • Lantern Jaw of Justice: Subverted. He has a manly chin but is a total jerkass and a villain.
  • Large Ham: He can never resist acting like a pompous windbag by talking about how great he is and his voice only gets louder when enraged.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: His obsession with fighting Mandie and Danny earns him nothing but a brutal beatdown from both.
  • Laughably Evil: Due to his incompetence and buffoonery, he serves as comedic relief.
  • Life's Work Ruined: This is how he’s felt concerning his mission to become Boudacia’s king ever since Danny came into the picture; Brutis has spent years serving the royal family and fighting wars on their behalf in the military, only for Danny to show up out of nowhere and instantly win Mandie’s affections as she’s been nicer to him in the span of one minute than she has ever been to Brutis their whole lives, since Brutis has never once gotten so much as a smile from Mandie that wasn’t sardonic or mocking.
  • Like Father, Unlike Son: If Maurus is to be believed, his father was a brave and loyal Boudacian soldier while his son turned out to be a backstabbing Dirty Coward.
  • Love Makes You Evil: It’s more of a sense of entitlement and craving for power than love or lust, but Mandie’s constant rejections and his own inability to defeat her in combat for her hand make Brutis increasingly desperate to marry her so he can have the throne, to the point he’s willing to betray the royal family and become king by force by taking Mandie's parents hostage so he can blackmail her to marry him.
  • Lust Makes You Dumb: Well, dumber in this case but Brutis refuses to go after any other girl because he's obsessed with Mandie for her beauty and status.
  • Lust Object: Is this to his fangirls because of his handsomeness and charisma.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Danny rarely uses Brutis' actual name but likes to insult him by calling him "Bruty", "Dorkus", and "Bonehead the Barbarian" just to annoy him.
  • Manly Men Can Hunt: Fancies himself a hunter and sees Mandie as prey. She loves proving him wrong by beating him up.
  • Mask of Sanity: He’s FAR more unhinged than his smug behavior would indicate as he flies into a murderous rage when someone dents his fragile ego. He’s quick to fly off the handle when finding out about Mandie’s interest in Danny and responds by plotting to kill the ghost boy so he can have her for himself.
  • Meaningful Name: His name is "Brutis", which perfectly describes his violent personality and lack of intelligence.
  • Miles Gloriosus: Likes to play himself up as being a great warrior, but is easily beaten up by Mandie and especially Danny.
  • Military Brat: Maurus claims that Brutis' father was his best general before dying in combat.
  • Mirror Character: Danny notes that Brutis has all the worst traits of Dash and Vlad, even describing him as an alien combination of them.
  • Moral Myopia:
    • He believes strength and victory are all that matters, but in practice, it's only if he's the one winning since he turns into a massive Sore Loser when Danny beats him.
    • As far as Brutis is concerned, it’s okay for him to cheat in a fight but when Danny is beating him, he accuses the ghost boy of cheating and deems it unforgivable.
  • More Despicable Minion: He serves the king and queen of Boudacia but lacks anything resembling a redeeming quality while the royal family, for all their faults, genuinely love each other and have their kingdom's best interests in mind, whereas Brutis couldn't care less about anyone but himself.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Deludes himself into thinking that he can kill Danny and that it'll give him a better chance of marrying Mandie to become king.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: He always tries to kill the Danny for being the object of Mandie's affections.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: Zigzagged. He's big and easily slices a tree in half but at the same time, Danny and Mandie, both of whom are considerably smaller than Brutis, beat him effortlessly.
  • Muscles Are Meaningless: Zigzagged. Despite being bigger and far more muscular than Mandie and Danny, he is much weaker than both of them and they have beaten him effortlessly many times.
  • Nausea Fuel: Serves as this to Mandie as the mere thought of Brutis makes her want to vomit and she'd only touch him when it's to hit him for being an idiot. She also can't stomach Brutis' fangirls fawning over him.
  • A Nazi by Any Other Name: He's incredibly xenophobic since he looks down on outsiders, including his own king, and any Boudacians who don't meet his standards.
  • Never My Fault: Brutis tends to try and blame someone or something else for his failures and misfortunes.
    • He absolutely refuses to believe Mandie's rejection of him is justified by his boorish attitude and chooses not to recognize how to properly earn her interest or better himself. Instead, he takes the underhanded routes of sucking up to her parents so they can arrange for her to marry him and later by trying to kill Danny for having her interest. He never stops or tries to change no matter how many times Mandie tells him to his face that she hates him and will never marry him.
    • He blames Mandie's temper and strength from her father's side for his inability to claim her as his bride rather than his own horrible attitude, weakness, and incompetence at being a warrior.
    • He blames Maurus for the fact he's not already king because he didn't force Mandie into an Arranged Marriage with Brutis like he did with Mark Change, not caring that Boudacia needed an alliance with Yugopotamia or that Maurus didn't have the legal power to make Mandie marry him since Brutis has always failed to beat her in combat.
    • He blames Maurus for bruising his hand with his face after Brutis punched him for mocking his plans to take over Boudacia.
    • He refuses to accept that it was his fault in any way that his plan to take over Boudacia failed and believes that someone must’ve sabotaged him.
  • Noble Male, Roguish Male: Inverted. He masks his true despicable self behind a noble persona but Mandie doesn't fall for it in the slightest, while Danny's snarky exterior hides his inner kindness and goodness.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Constantly suffers these from Mandie every time they battle or when he annoys her. Danny later gets in on this.
  • Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: While an elite soldier by Boudacian standards, by ghost standards he's not as powerful or dangerous as Danny's rogues gallery and proves to be no threat to him in battle.
  • No Sympathy: Mandie and Danny never pity him no matter all badly he gets beaten up. Given he's an evil power-hungry alien warrior and a total scumbag who harasses a girl that clearly hates him, along with trying to kill her boyfriend out of petty jealousy, it's completely understandable.
  • Not Good with Rejection: He refuses to accept that he has absolutely no chance with Mandie and constantly harasses her for her hand in marriage until she makes him leave her alone by beating him to a pulp. When he learns Mandie has set her sights on Danny, Brutis' response is to try to murder Danny, along with all of Earth.
  • No Honor Among Thieves: He was planning to betray Vlad from the start and set his ship to self-destruct when Vlad steals it.
  • Not Me This Time: Mandie thought he was the one who put an experimental wormhole generator bomb in her ship as an act of betrayal but in reality, it was Dieana, who did so without Brutis’ knowledge because she wanted to eliminate Mandie as competition for his heart by sending her back to their original universe. Mandie eventually deduces that Brutis isn’t the culprit since she knows he’s too stubborn to just give up on her after chasing her for so long.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: While a pompous buffoon, he does have access to dangerous alien weaponry, as well as a massive ego and temper to match. He's able to rally his followers to overthrow Boudacia's royalty so he will be seated on the throne, which Maurus and Milee don't see coming.
  • Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist:
    • Once he finds out about Danny and Mandie's feelings for each other, he immediately tries to rally the rest of the noble Boudacian court during Mandie's video presentation of Danny's achievements to take an elite squad to Earth and kill the ghost hero, painting him as a threat who needs to be taken down. Of course, it's very clear that his true motives are just to Murder the Hypotenuse.
    • He sees his betrayal of the royal family as a righteous revolution to bring the Boudacians back to their proper roots and restore the natural order, but Maurus correctly sees it as Brutis actually making a power grab for himself. The fact that he's willing to destroy a potentially valuable planet like Earth out of sheer spite only proves his point that Brutis greatly values his own ego over Boudacia.
  • Obviously Evil: If his nasty smirk wasn't enough of a clue, his awful attitude is clear proof that he is NOT a nice guy at all.
  • Offended by an Enemy's Indifference: It infuriates him to no end that Danny and Maddie not only see him as a total joke, but the ghost boy initially has no interest in Mandie since Brutis too self-centered and power-hungry to grasp why anyone would refuse to become royalty.
  • Offended by an Inferior's Success: He has a murderous hatred for Danny because the ghost boy has had much better success at winning Mandie's heart in weeks than Brutis has all his life, compounded by the fact that Danny is much more powerful.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: He’d rather destroy the universe if it won’t bow to him and he starts with Boudacia after his coup fails by ordering his droids to destroy the planet and everyone on it except himself, his loyalists, and Mandie just so he can rule what’s left.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: Mandie never let's him forget how Danny humiliated him in their first match.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: He’s obsessed with killing Danny himself to claim Mandie and because his wounded ego won’t be satisfied until he proves he’s a better warrior than the ghost boy, and he’s not above cheating, like using nanites provided by Vlad Plasmius.
  • Open Mouth, Insert Foot: Because of his stupidity and arrogance he can't even complete a sentence without being a condescending, sexist prick to Mandie. This only earns him a beating and fuels her hatred toward him.
  • Overranked Soldier: Given his incompetence and stupidity, it's surprising that he became a general.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: While an elite Boudacian soldier, he is absolutely next-to-nothing in terms of strength or skill compared to Mandie or Danny.
  • Pathetically Weak: For an elite Boudacian warrior, he loses way more battles than he wins since Mandie can beat him in 3 minutes tops without breaking a sweat while Danny and Fufu have an easier time beating him even when seriously holding back.
  • Paper Tiger: He's a smug, sadistic bully with warrior pretensions who isn't as good a fighter as he thinks he is and enjoys terrorizing those he views as weaker than himself. But when he is on the receiving end of violence himself, he proves himself to be an inept blowhard and sore loser.
  • Pet the Dog: After betraying Dieana, he just knocks her out and leaves her in her room in the servants quarters instead of killing her or throwing her in prison.
  • Privileged Rival: A deconstructed, one-sided example. He’s a handsome and renowned elite warrior hailing from one of Boudacia’s oldest noble families and is competing with Danny for Mandie’s affections. However, Brutis is an insufferable, narcissistic jackass because of his privilege since he only regards Mandie as a trophy he’s entitled to and she hates him for his pigheaded, sexist attitude since day one to the point she refuses to associate with him even before meeting Danny. Danny doesn’t even regard him as a rival because Brutis is too weak and annoying to be anything more than a massive nuisance that won’t leave him alone unless forced to.
  • Proud Beauty: A Rare Male Example. He’s the most desired man on Boudacia and is way more vain than Vlad and Mandie combined, especially since he loves admiring his own reflection.
  • Psychological Projection: He views Danny as a weakling who's not worthy of Mandie's hand in marriage, a description that fits Brutis much better.
  • Polite Villains, Rude Heroes: Inverted. He's a misogynistic, Ax-Crazy Blood Knight space conqueror in contrast to the Nice Guy Martial Pacifist superhero Danny Phantom.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He's shamelessly misogynistic, classist, and racist as he only views Mandie as a trophy and looks down on Danny for his common background and being from Earth.
  • Pride: Motivated entirely by his ego and sense of self-importance.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: He captures Mandie's parents and keeps them alive so he can use them as leverage to force her into marrying him…but he plans to get rid of them as soon as he takes the throne.
  • Prince Charming Wannabe: Brutis thinks he's the only one worthy of Mandie, but Mandie wants nothing to do with him since she can see he's actually a power-hungry and manipulative sleazeball.
  • Prince Charmless: He's an oafish moron who gets on Mandie's nerves all the time with his obnoxious flirting and immature sense of entitlement toward her.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: When it comes to the royal family, he acts like a faithful general to stay on Maurus' good side for his own ends. Mandie naturally sees through him and recognizes him for the power-hungry Manipulative Bastard he is.
  • Properly Paranoid: He sets his ship to self-destruct when Vlad steals it because he figured the evil halfa would betray him.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: He's a Boudacian and proud of it.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Mandie describes him as one and he does nothing to prove her wrong as his entire feud with Danny is just one giant temper tantrum over the fact that Mandie prefers Danny over Brutis, and he can't accept that he has no chance of beating Mandie or Danny in a fight.
  • Psychotic Smirk: He loves giving these, before and during battles, to showcase his bloodthirsty nature.
  • Punny Name: His name is pretty fitting for a brutish thug with little brains or manners.
  • Older Hero vs. Younger Villain: Inverted as Brutis is 17 while Danny is 16. Subverted in a sense as Danny is far more mature than the moronic, manchild Brutis.
  • Opportunistic Bastard: He can never resist the chance to make himself look better by showing off, acquiring power by challenging Mandie for her hand in marriage, or sabotaging Mandie's relationship with Danny by trying to kill him or ratting out their relationship to Mandie's parents.
  • Rabble Rouser: After Mandie shows footage of all the times Brutis lost to Danny to the Boudacian royal court, he flies into a jealous rage and tries to whip the nobles into killing Danny and dissecting his corpse by painting the ghost boy as a threat that needs to be eliminated, until Mandie shuts him up by threatening to behead him when she presses her flame sword to his neck.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Has red eyes and is an absolute bastard.
  • Red Hot Masculinity: He’s an overly macho warrior that has red hair and wears a red cape.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The impulsive, fiery, emotional Red to Dieana's calm, quiet, meek Blue.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: While crashing his wedding that he’s forcing Mandie into, Danny calls him a moronic opportunist who cheated his way to the throne just to be king because he resorted to cowardly and underhanded tactics like sneak attacks and Vlad’s nanomachines to win.
  • The Resenter: He hates Danny for being Mandie's chosen mate and humiliating him in battle several times. Mandie knows this and loves rubbing it in his face just to embarrass him further.
  • Revenge Before Reason: He's too stupid and full of himself to let go of his grudge against Danny, regardless of how outclassed he is by the ghost boy.
  • Rich Bastard: Comes from one of the richest families on Boudacia and is a major asshole.
  • Rich Suitor, Poor Suitor: The snobby, boring, wealthy, noble rich suitor to Danny's humble, exciting, working, middle-class poor suitor.
  • The Rival: He sees himself as this to Danny because they're both seeking a romantic relationship with Mandie, but to Danny, he's nothing more than a nuisance.
  • Sadist: He's a sociopathic thug who enjoys hurting people.
  • Sanity Slippage: His constant losses to Danny and Mandie make him increasingly desperate to get rid of the ghost boy and become king, to the point he turns on the royal family and forms an alliance with Vlad to stage a coup so he can force Mandie into marrying him by holding her parents and boyfriend hostage to use as leverage. The royal family and Team Phantom accurately describe him as a madman for resorting to such extreme lengths to fulfill his own selfish ambitions.
  • Scarpia Ultimatum: He forces Mandie to marry him by threatening to painfully execute her parents and Danny with Vlad's nanites. While she has no intention of ever marrying a weakling or madman like Brutis, Mandie only agrees to keep her loved ones alive long enough to save them. Once they’re safe, she wastes no time in hitting Brutis at their wedding.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: He flees during his battle with Danny at his forced wedding with Mandie when most of his followers turn against him for being a dishonorable coward.
  • Self-Proclaimed Love Interest: He loves to call Mandie his bride and himself her future husband no matter how much she makes it clear she completely hates his guts or how many times he's reminded that they're not engaged since he's always failed to defeat her in combat.
  • Selective Obliviousness: He ignores Mandie's deep hatred of him because of his ambition to become king.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: Brutis has committed all seven of them:
    • Pride: His skills, looks, accomplishments, and noble status give him a massive superiority complex, leading him to think he's better than others and that he's the only one who deserves to be Mandie's mate and king.
    • Lust: He's only interested in Mandie for her looks and crown, and he's very power-hungry since he's set his sights on becoming the next king of Boudacia.
    • Wrath: He's quick to anger when slighted or denied what he wants.
    • Gluttony: He's obsessed with winning Mandie's heart and obtaining power by trying to take control of Planet Boudacia.
    • Greed: He desires power and dominance by ruling Boudacia and sees Mandie as nothing more than an object of his own desires and a path toward the throne.
    • Envy: He's jealous of Danny because of Mandie's obvious romantic interest in him and schemes to claim her for himself.
    • Sloth: Brutis seems to spend more time pestering Mandie for her hand in marriage than improving his own skills as a warrior.
  • Shadow Archetype: He is one to Mandie. They're both from noble Boudacian families, but Brutis is how Mandie could've or still would've been like if she never met Danny and began her Character Development.
  • Shallow Cannot Comprehend True Love: Looks and status are all that matter to him so he fails to understand why Mandie vastly prefers the middle-class Earth superhero Danny Phantom over a privileged Boudacian asshole like himself.
  • Silver Spoon Troublemaker: He's a violent, power-hungry thug and entitled misogynistic creep from a noble family.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: He could have (almost) any woman he wants but Mandie is the only one he seeks.
  • Slasher Smile: Frequently sports these to show off his bloodthirsty and smug nature.
  • Slobs Versus Snobs: He’s the arrogant and narcissistic snob to Danny’s humble and down-to-earth slob. Downplayed as Danny is far more mature, intelligent, and well-mannered than the obnoxious, stuck up, brutish, violent, and moronic Psychopathic Manchild Brutis
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He sees himself as better than everyone because he's a nobleman and the second best warrior on Boudacia. Danny and Mandie only view him as the pathetic jerk he is.
  • Smarter Than You Look: Brutis had his spies steal some ghost-proof cuffs from Mandie’s arsenal to use them to restrain Danny.
  • Smug Snake: He's awfully confident that he'll easily beat Danny. Danny always proves him wrong, showing Brutis is nowhere near as strong or skilled as he thinks he is.
  • Social Climber: Wants to raise his status by becoming king. Mandie of course is having none of that.
  • The Sociopath: Brutis shows all the signs of a low-functioning sociopath:
    • Superficial Charm: He acts respectful around the king and queen of Boudacia but around everyone else, he's an obnoxious blowhard.
    • Lack of Impulse Control: His fragile ego leaves him easy to anger and he flies into a blind rage when slighted.
    • Narcissism/Massive Ego: He sees himself as the best warrior ever despite numerous evidence to the contrary and can't resist admiring his own reflection.
    • Inability to Accept Responsibility: He's too immature and full of himself to admit his shortcomings like his inferiority to Danny when it comes to fighting.
    • Shallowness: He values Mandie purely for her looks and connection to the throne, so he only sees her as only a prize that belongs to him.
    • Lack of Empathy: The only person that matters to Brutis is Brutis.
    • Lack of Foresight: His fight with Danny shows he rushes in without any concern for strategy or the potential consequences of his actions, which earns him a severe beating from Danny.
  • Sociopathic Soldier: He’s a renowned soldier with all the signs of a low-functioning sociopath, given that he has a grandiose sense of purpose, cunning, manipulates all of Boudacia to join him in a crusade to make him king, and ultimately cannot see things from other people's point of view.
  • Soldier vs. Warrior: The Warrior to Danny's Soldier. Brutis lives for fighting and trains himself to be the strongest fighter he can be. He likes fighting because it lets him show off and boost his ego by winning, doesn't take a fight seriously unless his opponent can stand up to him or has done something to seriously tick him off (which is easy to do given his easily dented fragile ego), and lets his temper and passion for battle cloud his better judgment.
  • Sore Loser: Absolutely refuses to accept that Danny is a vastly better fighter than him and always makes excuses for his losses.
  • Spoiled Brat: His role in the story basically amounts to him throwing a very violent temper tantrum when he doesn't get his way.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Averted. He's obsessed with marrying Mandie and is stalking her to the point he spies on her and even follows her to Earth, but only because he's fixated on becoming king of Boudacia and doesn't care about her as anything but a tool for power and royalty.
  • Stalker with a Test Tube: Being the sexist pig he is, he just considers Mandie an attractive incubator that's the only one worthy of him and only good for providing him strong and beautiful children to use for taking over the universe.
  • Stealth Insult: Danny only considers him slightly more difficult to deal with than the Box Ghost. The insult doesn't fly over anyone's head, even Brutis'.
  • Straw Misogynist: He only sees Mandie as a prize and has no respect for any girl that doesn't meet his standards.
  • Strong and Skilled: He's a trained elite warrior but due to his flaws (like ego, stupidity, and temper), he makes some seriously poor choices in battle and actually comes off as Unskilled, but Strong in his preference of brute strength and unwavering aggression over strategy or finesse.
  • Stupid Evil:
    • Maurus calls him out for being this for wanting to destroy the Earth out of petty spite toward Danny and Mandie rather than conquer it, especially since it's the only world with sentient life that they've found in Danny's universe.
    • He could’ve just settled for one of his fangirls like Dieana as Mandie suggested, but his giant ego and lust for power will only let him be satisfied with marrying the crown princess who can make him king of Boudacia and is considered the most beautiful girl on their planet. End result, trying to force Mandie into marriage by threatening her loved ones turns even his own followers against him and makes him a wanted fugitive on Boudacia.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: His over-inflated ego makes him believe he can overcome any fight. He's always wrong. He thinks he can get rid of Danny and claim Mandie's hand in marriage but his schemes never have a chance of actually succeeding against the ghost boy because he's clearly nowhere near as smart or dangerous as he believes himself to be.
  • Super-Toughness: Downplayed compared to Mandie and Danny, but he can take far more punishment than humans and not even having all his bones broken can knock him out.
  • Talking Is a Free Action: Averted and deconstructed; Danny has no problem hitting him while he's too distracted giving his long-winded rantings.
  • Tantrum Throwing: Trashes his own ship in a jealous rage while spying on Danny and Mandie working together for the first time.
  • Technician Versus Performer: The Performer to Mandie and Danny's Technicians. Brutis has a more aggressive and flashier fighting style but skill-wise, he is quite mediocre, relying on fear and berserker rage to win battles for him, along with dirty tricks. Meanwhile, Mandie is Boudacia's top warrior and Danny is Earth's greatest protector who don't need any tricks to win fights as they're much more skilled than Brutis.
  • Teens Are Monsters: He's 17 years old and definitely the most vile character in the story.
  • Testosterone Poisoning: He's ridiculously buff, loves to exercise, prefers to settle his problems with violence, has women constantly fawning over him, and displays comical levels of misogyny.
  • They Just Dont Get It: Brutis is too narcissistic to get it through his empty head that Mandie despises him for being an obnoxious Boisterous Weakling that only regards her as a trophy, no matter how many times she spells it out to him.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: He was already a complete idiot but his vendetta with Danny causes his IQ to drop even further since he refuses to leave Danny alone no matter how badly the ghost boy beats him.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: He was already Mandie's Abhorrent Admirer and a Big Jerk on Campus but upon finding out about Danny, he becomes a murderous yandere and The Starscream to the royal family.
  • A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: Most, if not all, of Brutis' misfortunes are due to his ego and inability to think things through, causing him to not understand how the potential consequences of his actions affect him.
  • Tyrant Takes the Helm: Him and his followers betray the royal family and capture their allies so Brutis can take over Boudacia by imprisoning Mandie’s parents to force her to marry him.
  • Underestimating Badassery: His gigantic ego causes him to delude himself into believing he can beat Danny and Mandie easily, regardless of how impossible it is or how many times he loses.
  • Ungrateful Bastard:
    • Maurus certainly thinks since he betrays the royal family despite all the years of favoritism he got from the king.
    • Dieana calls Brutis out for not appreciating all of her hard work and the sacrifices she made for the sake of his ambition on becoming king when he admits that he always intended on marrying Mandie instead of her.
  • The Unfettered: There’s nothing he won’t do to get what he wants including murder, regicide, treachery, and cheating. Deconstructed as his dishonorable nature turns everyone, even the royal family and his own loyal followers, against him when they finally get tired of how much of an arrogant and pathetic backstabbing coward he is.
  • Unknown Rival: Brutis considers Danny his mortal arch-enemy and is dedicated to destroying him. Danny, however, sees Brutis as a pest at best and at worst an annoying creep no more threatening than Dash.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Heavily downplayed on the "Strong" part. While he's able to destroy training droids and cut a tree in half with one swing of his sword, he's much weaker than more cunning fighters like Danny and Mandie. Also, despite being a well-trained, dangerous, and brutal opponent, he's far from smart and relies only on sheer brute strength to win fights so he lacks real strategy and fighting techniques.
  • Unwanted Harem: While he does enjoy his admirers fawning over him, he's indifferent to his female fans at best because he only has eyes for Mandie.
  • Unwanted Rescue: Mandie makes it crystal clear to Brutis she doesn't want or need any rescuing, especially not from him, after she escapes from Vlad's trap in the Ghost Zone.
  • Unwanted Spouse: Seeks to become this to Mandie because he wants the throne and doesn't care that she hates him.
  • Upper-Class Twit: He is a nobleman and a complete moron.
  • Very Punchable Man: Whenever he gets beat up, it's a result of his own enormous ego and we cheer for it.
  • Viler New Villain: Danny finds him much, MUCH worse than Mandie ever was and feels sorry for her for having to put up with him even when she was Danny's enemy.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He NEVER takes it well when things don't go his way, as Danny usually has to punch his lights out just to shut him up.
  • Villainous Crush: Averted as he doesn't actually care about Mandie as anything more than a path to a crown, even if he is physically attracted to her.
  • Villain Has a Point:
    • He is right that Mandie has responsibilities and obligations as future ruler of Boudacia, such as marrying and providing royal heirs for the next generation.
    • He is proven right that Danny and Mandie formed a relationship behind her parents' backs.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Whenever he's not scheming or harassing our favorite couple, he's busy sparring with his training droids.
  • Villain Team-Up: He sends Vlad a message proposing an alliance to get rid of their mutual enemy, Danny Phantom.
  • Villainous Underdog: His only advantage is his planet's advanced technology but even with it, he goes down like a total chump against Danny.
  • Villain Has a Point: When turning his back on Dieana, he points out that he never promised to marry her.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Everyone in Boudacia worships the ground Brutis walks on and views him as their hero, despite his selfishness and arrogance; Dieana even states in that everyone in town admires him and wants to be him. Even Maurus likes him. Mandie and Milee are the only ones on Boudacia who don't worship him, seeing him for who and what he really is.
  • Virtue Is Weakness: As far as he’s concerned, honor and fairness are just the traditions that have kept him from claiming Mandie’s hand in marriage.
  • Wasted Beauty: He is this to Mandie because even while she admits he's handsome, she's far too repulsed by his irritating and entitled personality to feel anything but deep loathing toward him.
  • The Worf Effect: A rare villainous example. He is considered one of the best warriors on Boudacia but is always beaten by Danny, Mandie, and even Fufu to show just how weak he is in comparison to them and nowhere near as great a fighter as he believes himself to be.
  • Worthy Opponent: Not that Brutis would ever admit it because of his gigantic ego, but he does find Danny to be a tricky and slippery foe because of his skills in battle. The feeling is NOT mutual as Danny only considers the obnoxious Boudacian nobleman a huge nuisance no more threatening than the Box Ghost at best
  • Would Hit a Girl: He has no problem punching Mandie whenever they fight, although she returns the favor tenfold.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He wants to capture Timmy Turner so he can torture then kill him in order to prove he’s a better warrior than the human boy because Maurus pointed out that the earthling managed to beat Mandie, unlike Brutis who always lost to her.
  • Yandere: He gets even worse when he stages a revolt and captures the royal family to force Mandie into marrying him then plans to destroy the Earth just to get revenge on Danny and Mandie.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: After his coup, he reveals to Dieana that he never planned on marrying her and was always going to wed Mandie. He casts Dieana aside by knocking her out and leaving her in her room in the servants quarters.
  • Younger Than They Look: He is 17 but looks like a mature human man (at least by human standards).
  • Zero-Effort Boss: All his fights with Danny end with Brutis failing to land even a single blow and requiring a trip to the infirmary.

    Dieana
Mandie's handmaiden. She has a crush on Brutis.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: She's this to Brutis as he doesn't find her pretty or influential enough for him and ignores her at best unless she's useful to him.
  • Ambition Is Evil: She helps Brutis betray the royal family and take over Boudacia because she wants to be his wife and the new queen of the planet. She also wants to help Brutis conquer Danny’s universe and their original universe.
  • All for Nothing: She realizes that betraying the royal family and all her efforts to make Brutis king were pointless since he made it clear she was never going to be his queen due to his obsession with marrying only Mandie.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Possibly one of the reasons she has a crush on Brutis.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: She is in love with Brutis, who wants to marry Mandie.
  • Beauty Is Bad: She is a rather pretty alien girl, and she is one of the bad guys.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Mandie finds out that Dieana's passive servant girl attitude is just an act when she betrays the royal Boudacian family for Brutis.
  • Bullying a Dragon: She thinks it’s a good idea to betray and antagonize Mandie, their planet’s mightiest female warrior.
  • Canon Foreigner: Created for this fanfic.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She resents Mandie for constantly rejecting Brutis and being the one he wants to marry, while ignoring that it's only for shallow reasons like her looks and throne.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Like Brutis, she doesn’t mind fighting dirty as Mandie laments. For example, she takes down Milee by poisoning her goblet.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: She appears as a harmless handmaiden but is revealed to be a skilled enough fighter to give Mandie trouble in a fight, especially since she doesn’t play fair. Mandie realizes she’s been keeping up with her training all these years.
  • The Dragon: Becomes this to Brutis as a way to earn his love by helping him become king of Boudacia.
  • Entitled Bitch: She believes she’s the only one worthy of being Brutis’ wife and queen, as well as the mother of his heirs.
  • Entitled to Have You: Essentially sums up Dieana’s attitude towards Brutis, as she believes only she should marry him and have his children, as well as be his queen. She’s fine with getting rid of Mandie so Brutis won’t pick her to be his bride when he takes over Boudacia.
  • Everyone Can See It: Danny quickly picks up on her obvious crush on Brutis.
  • Evil Counterpart: She's this to Danny of all people. They both come from common backgrounds and pursue a romantic relationship with a Boudacian noble, but they couldn't be more different. Danny didn't like Mandie until she started showing redeeming qualities, doesn't take any crap from her and is willing to stand up to her, and has a much healthier relationship with his partner since he helps bring out her better nature. Dieana however, has always been attracted to Brutis for his looks and bad boy attitude but lets him walk all over her and is unaware he's only using her. She willingly helps him with his schemes to get rid of Danny in order to win Brutis' affections and get back at Mandie for being the object of his interest.
  • Evil Is Petty: She sends Mandie back to their original universe with a wormhole generator bomb because she thinks it’ll help her chances of becoming Brutis’ queen by removing the competition for his heart.
  • Expy: She's based on Queen Maxima's handmaiden/secretary/royal advisor Sazu from Superman: The Animated Series.
  • Evil Is Petty: Dieana's main grudge with Mandie is that she's the one Brutis wants to marry.
  • Fantastic Racism: She secretly looks down on Mandie for being the half-breed offspring of her Boudacian mother and alien outsider father. Her opinion gets even lower when Mandie starts dating Danny because she’d rather date an Earth "mutant" than Brutis.
  • Fate Worse than Death: She forcefully sends Mandie back to their old universe with a worm hole generator bomb because the worst punishment for a Boudacian traitor is banishment.
  • Foil: To Mandie. She's a meek servant girl who's completely infatuated with Brutis despite his nasty attitude while Mandie is a headstrong princess who never takes any of Brutis' behavior lying down and utterly hates his guts.
  • Hidden Disdain Reveal: Dieana shows she hates Mandie for being the object of Brutis' desire and for constantly rejecting him.
  • Fangirl: She is one of Brutis's many admirers.
  • Hopeless Suitor: To Brutis, who only wants Mandie so he can be king.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: She is in love with Brutis of all people.
  • Jerkass: She’s pretty rude and arrogant underneath her meek servant girl demeanor.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: She successfully poisons and captures Queen Milee for Brutis. She’s also a good enough fighter to hold her own against Mandie in battle, partly thanks to employing a few Combat Pragmatist tactics.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: She is right that Mandie can be a brat.
  • Love Makes You Dumb: How else would you explain her crush on Brutis?
  • Love Martyr: She is very devoted to Brutis regardless of how much of a douche he is to her.
  • Mad Love: She’s obsessed with marrying Brutis no matter what it takes, including getting rid of the royal Boudacian family.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Downplayed. She's willing to get rid of Mandie to have Brutis for herself by putting a wormhole generator in her ship that takes her back to their original universe.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: She crashes Brutis’ forced wedding to Mandie, providing a distraction that lets Mandie pull out a knife she was hiding in her bouquet.
  • Non-Action Guy: Gender-Inverted. Despite being a Boudacian, she is never shown fighting or training. Justified given her role as a servant rather than a warrior.
  • Offended by an Enemy's Indifference: Dieana is in love with Brutis and envious of Mandie for being the object of his affections. When Mandie rejects him, rather than being relieved that her crush is still up for grabs, Dieana feels offended that Mandie thinks she's too good for Brutis.
  • Shallow Cannot Comprehend True Love: She only likes Brutis for his looks and reputation, and can’t understand why Mandie hates him for his obnoxious attitude.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: She seems like a demure servant but is clever enough to poison Milee and can give Mandie a hard time in combat.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: She’s always had eyes for Brutis only.
  • Smitten Teenage Girl: Just the thought of Brutis makes her swoon and she never passes up the chance to flirt with him (unless he’s busy trying to court Mandie).
  • Sycophantic Servant: She's this to Brutis as she takes his abuse without complaint and does whatever he tells her to.
  • Underestimating Badassery: She’s unimpressed with Danny upon meeting him for the first time when Brutis is keeping him prisoner in the dungeon as she wonders why Mandie would choose "a gloarksmen pup" like the ghost boy over a man like Brutis.
  • Undying Loyalty: She always sticks by Brutis' side regardless of how he treats her. Deconstructed as it's clearly not a good thing since her infatuation blinds her to Brutis' negative qualities, along with the fact that her constant praise and enabling of Brutis' ego only reinforces all of his flaws.
  • Unholy Matrimony: What she wants with Brutis, but he’s not interested since he only desires Mandie.
  • Unwitting Pawn: She doesn't know that Brutis is planning on marrying Mandie instead of her during their coup against the royal family. When she finally finds out, she doesn't take it well, only to be unceremoniously knocked out and taken away to her room for her trouble.
  • Villainous Valor: She’s willing to fight Mandie of all people, and actually puts up a good effort partly thanks to her underhanded tactics.
  • What Does She See in Him?: Danny wonders why she's so in love with Brutis since he made it clear he only has eyes for Mandie. Mandie especially wonders how Dieana’s standards in men can be so low that she’d be interested in a blatant Jerkass and Boisterous Weakling like Brutis, who clearly only cares about marrying the princess so he can become king.
  • Woman Scorned: She wears revenge on Brutis for using her as a pawn and still going through his plans to marry Mandie instead of her. She ambushes him during the wedding he is forcing Mandie into, but Brutis easily deals with her and knocks her out, then has the guards take her away again.
  • Yes-Man: She'll do anything for Brutis, including betraying the royal family.
