Villains

    Vlad Masters/Plasmius
Danny's arch-enemy.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: Became this to Maddie when she found out how much of a creep he is when he hit on her.
  • Abusive Parents: He doesn’t care about any of the clones that fail to meet his standards and wants his perfect son to only obey him and continue his work after he’s gone.
  • Attempted Homewrecker: He's been obsessed with stealing Maddie from Jack since college, but she's only ever seen him as a friend and now not even that after realizing how much of a self-absorbed jerkass he is
  • Batman Gambit: Vlad's preferred MO, although he's not always as good at predicting responses as he thinks he is.
  • Big Bad: He is Danny's arch-enemy for a reason.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: He steals Brutis’ ship to escape after the rotten Boudacian noble is defeated by Danny, and reveals he secretly implanted nanobots in him as insurance.
  • Consummate Liar: Lies to everybody.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He’s just as sarcastic as Danny.
  • Enemy Mine: Forms one with Brutis in exchange for getting rid of or enslaving Danny and acquiring alien technology, along with a place in Brutis’ new galactic empire.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • Downplayed but he does eventually understand why Mandie doesn’t like Brutis.
    • While's he's not above working with Brutis for his own ends, even Vlad can see what a rotten person he is.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: He thinks Danny started dating Mandie because he couldn’t resist the chance to rule over a planet like Vlad would. Danny even calls him out on comparing the former to himself by pointing out that Vlad is the only one of them who obsesses over power.
  • Evil Genius: He’s able to make nanobots that adapt to half-ghost and alien biology, which lets them spread through their target's circulatory system and release an electromagnetic pulse on a cellular level, thus painfully ripping their host apart molecule by molecule.
  • Evil Is Petty:
    • He visits Danny, Milee, and Maurus in the Boudacian dungeon just to gloat to them.
    • He’s fine with Brutis destroying Amity Park as long as he gets Maddie.
  • Eviler than Thou: Mandie is disgusted by his cruel treatment of Dani’s brothers since Boudacians believe in protecting offspring.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He puts on a mockingly polite facade but doesn’t really bother hiding how much of a selfish, petty jerk he really is.
  • For the Evulz: After he steals Brutis’ ship to escape when Danny defeats the arrogant Boudacian noble, Vlad activates the nanites he secretly implanted into Brutis’ bloodstream to torture him for laughs.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Slightly downplayed. He knows Brutis is a backstabbing idiot but underestimates just how untrustworthy he is when Brutis activates the self-destruct of his ship that Vlad stole to flee from the battle they were losing at Brutis’ forced wedding with Mandie. Vlad manages to survive by turning intangible at the last minute to escape from the exploding ship.
  • Hypocritical Humor: He considers Brutis to be just as much of a pompous windbag as Technus, not that Vlad has much room to judge given his own penchant for indulging in Evil Gloating and his Large Ham tendencies.
  • In Love with Looks: Despite his claims of wanting love, it’s clear he only cares about Maddie for her beauty.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Vlad mocks Brutis by pointing out that it was obvious the latter's coup against the Boudacian royal family was always destined to fail because of his incompetence and stupidity.
  • Lack of Empathy: He doesn’t even consider the failed clones of Danny to be children since their only purpose was to serve as prototypes towards creating his perfect son.
  • Love Makes You Evil: It’s more of a sense of entitlement and lust than love, but his obsession with Maddie and idea of having a perfect family of his own is one of the main reasons for Vlad's villainous career and feud with Jack since he’s obsessed with stealing them from him.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: His interference in Mandie’s hunt provides an unconscious Danny plenty of time to wake up and fight her off.
  • No Honor Among Thieves: He was only going to use Brutis as a puppet king to rule in secret. Vlad abandons him when Brutis' followers turn against him and steals his ship to escape, then uses the nanites he secretly implanted into Brutis’ bloodstream to torture him for fun.
  • Nothing Personal: Vlad says this to Brutis when he abandons him by stealing his ship to flee after Brutis loses and runs away from his fight with Danny during his forced wedding to Mandie, claiming that it was clear for all to see that Brutis’ plan was destined to fail.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Maurus and Milee consider Vlad to be just as much of an egotistical scumbag as Brutis for putting his entire home planet Earth at risk for the sake of power and making Maddie his.
  • Obviously Evil: Enough for Mandie to refuse to team up with him.
  • Offended by an Inferior's Success: He can't stand that a goofball screwup like Jack has a beautiful wife and family.
  • Out-Gambitted: He steals Brutis’ ship to escape when their plans are foiled but learns too late that he set it to self-destruct. Vlad still has enough time to phase out of the ship, although he leaves behind the remote to control Brutis’ nanites so it’s destroyed.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: He abandons Brutis after he’s overthrown and steals his ship to escape to Earth. Vlad then activates the nanites he secretly inserted into Brutis’ bloodstream to torture him just for fun.
  • Pragmatic Villainy:
    • He admits to Danny that he doesn’t trust Brutis and is only working with him to use him as a figurehead until Vlad doesn’t need him anymore.
    • He won’t let Brutis destroy Earth so instead, he’ll talk him into just blowing up Amity Park but sparing Maddie.
  • Properly Paranoid: He secretly inserted nanites into Brutis’ bloodstream because he knew the smug Boudacian nobleman couldn't be trusted. Though he didn't account for Brutis having a failsafe in his own ship to get rid of Vlad.
  • Sadist: He takes joy in watching Danny and Mandie’s parents suffer from the pain his nanobots are inflicting on them.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: He flees Boudacia, leaving Brutis behind, when they lose the final battle at Brutis' forced wedding to Mandie and steals his ship.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: He’s only ever been interested in Maddie.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Vlad fits this trope to a t with Maddie. It doesn't matter that she is Happily Married to Jack with two children as he'll still try to pursue her.
  • Stalker without a Crush: He also has the trappings of a stalker with Danny, though it's more platonic since he sees Danny as the son he's always wanted... which makes it creepier.
  • Stupid Evil: He could’ve just been fine with Dani since she was his most successful and loyal clone but refuses to settle for anything less than a son, which only made him another enemy and gained Danny a powerful new ally.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: He’s become fine with Brutis destroying Amity Park if it means finally claiming Maddie for himself.
  • Underestimating Badassery: He underestimates Brutis’ intelligence and the depths of his treachery since Vlad is caught by surprise when Brutis self-destructs his ship that Vlad stole to escape from the losing battle at the forced wedding. Vlad barely survives by turning intangible to escape from the exploding ship.
  • Villain Respect: He mocks Brutis for kneeling over in pain after Vlad activates the nanites he secretly put in his bloodstream as insurance in case of betrayal, since Vlad had them on the lowest setting and only slightly raised the level while Danny’s tolerance for pain is miles above Brutis'.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He’s this given his callous treatment of Dani and her brothers, willing to melt the clones he creates if they fail him.
  • Yandere: He’s okay with Brutis destroying Amity Park as long as he keeps Maddie.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: He confesses to Danny that he knows Brutis isn’t trustworthy so Vlad's just manipulating him into being a puppet king until he stops being useful.

    Ember McLain
A ghost musician who can control people with her singing.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: Despite her good looks and combat skills, Danny has no interest in Ember because she refuses to stop her villainous ways.
  • Beauty Is Bad: Danny acknowledges her good looks but doesn’t want anything to do with her for being an evil supervillain bent on destroying him and conquering the world.
  • Blood Knight: Not as obvious as Mandie but she does enjoy a good fight.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: She’s too proud and stubborn to admit her attraction for Danny.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: She admits to Danny that she has no interest in changing her villainous ways because she enjoys being that way.
  • Catfight: Gets into one with Mandie because she’s jealous that the alien princess is dating Danny but refuses to admit or even acknowledge it.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She won't admit it but she's jealous of Danny and Mandie's relationship.
  • The Gadfly: She likes to make passes at Danny partly to enrage Mandie for fun.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She’ll never admit it but she is jealous of Mandie for her beauty and romantic relationship with Danny.
  • Hopeless Suitor: Doesn’t have a chance with Danny because of her villainous ways and his relationship with Mandie.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: She’s just as in denial about her feelings for Danny as Sam is.
  • Not So Similar: Danny points out that one major difference between her and Mandie is Ember refuses to change her evil ways.
  • Older Than They Look: She’s far older than she looks despite having the appearance of a teenager.
  • Rejection Affection: Being turned down by Danny doesn’t make her less interested in him.
  • Shadow Archetype: Is this to Mandie as Ember shares the same negative traits as the space princess pre-Character Development.
  • Tsundere: She hides her attraction to Danny by being her usual antagonistic self.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Ember is a powerful ghost but lacks formal training so she finds herself outmatched by the much more skilled and highly trained Mandie, who has anti-ghost gloves to counter the ghostly rocker’s intangibility.
  • Villain Has a Point: While she’s snide about it, Ember is right that Mandie doesn’t seem like Danny’s type given that he’s a goody two-shoes superhero while she’s a vicious Blood Knight.
  • Villainesses Want Heroes: She is interested in Danny but hides by being her usual villainous self.
  • Villainous Crush: She’s attracted to Danny but refuses to be honest about it because of her ego.
  • Wasted Beauty: Danny does think she's hot but wants nothing to do with her because of her obsession with ruling the world and her constant fighting with him.

    Johnny 13
A biker ghost with a knack for causing bad luck. His shadow, which has a mind of its own, spreads this bad luck to others. He's Kitty's boyfriend.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: He tries to hit on Mandie but she finds him too weak and cowardly for her tastes.
  • Butt-Monkey: He’s rejected and beaten up by Mandie, who traps his bad luck shadow in carbonite, then gets his tires frozen by Danny, who sucks him up into the Fenton Thermos.
  • Boisterous Weakling: He talks tough but mainly relies on his shadow for fighting and tries to run away from Mandie and Danny after they defeat it, only to be captured by Danny’s Fenton Thermos.
  • Casanova Wannabe: He tries to flirt with Mandie upon meeting her but she just kicks him in the face.
  • Cool Bike: That can drive along walls and fly.
  • Dirty Coward: He tries to flee after Mandie beats his bad luck shadow but Danny puts a stop to that by trapping him in the Fenton Thermos. Mandie is thoroughly unimpressed by Johnny’s cowardice.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In spite of his Casanova Wannabe tendencies, he loves his girlfriend Kitty.
  • Hopeless Suitor: Doesn’t have a shot with Mandie because he’s too pathetic and cowardly for her standards.
  • A Lighter Of Shade Of Black: Danny just considers him a thug and a nuisance rather than a real villain.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: Danny doesn’t even consider him a villain but knows Johnny is dangerous after what he almost did to his sister Jazz during their first encounter.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: He tries to escape when Mandie imprisons his shadow in carbonite but Danny freezes his bike’s tires and sucks him into the Fenton Thermos.
  • Slimeball: He’s a sleazy, trouble-making punk who hits on any attractive girl he meets despite already dating Kitty.

     Skulker
One of Danny's most recurring villains, Skulker is a ghost obsessed with hunting to such an extent that he's considered the Ghost Zone's greatest predator. Growing bored, he looked to the real world for a challenge and fixated on Danny, whose hybrid nature made for an endlessly exciting hunt.
  • Boisterous Weakling: Even without his armor, he’s still spouting threats and boasting about being greatest hunter of all the ghost zone, not that it stops Mandie from stepping on him for several minutes.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: On the receiving end of one courtesy of Mandie after she beheads his robot body and stomps on the real Skulker for a couple of minutes.
  • Expy: Of Kraven the Hunter, being a supervillainous big-game hunter who wants to make the main character his quarry.
  • Humiliation Conga: In his first fight with Mandie, she kicks his suit's head off, then stomps on him for several minutes.
  • Hunting the Most Dangerous Game: Targets other ghosts, and takes a particular interest in Danny Phantom. He soon adds Mandie to his list.
  • Worthy Opponent:
    • He hates Danny but respects his abilities to the extent of considering him his greatest challenge and greatly looks forward to handing his pelt on his wall.
    • He also views Mandie as this given her alien heritage, flame abilities, and royalty status, which make her a unique target.

     The Box Ghost
A lame ghost obsessed with boxes and Danny's most frequent nuisance.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Talks a big game, but no one pays much attention to him.
  • Boisterous Weakling: He loves to run his mouth about how scary and dangerous he supposedly is, but Danny only considers him a nuisance too annoying to ignore while Mandie uses him as a punching bag.
  • Butt-Monkey: Frequently.
  • Character Catchphrase: "I am the Box Ghost!" "BEWARE!"
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: On the receiving end of a particularly brutal one when Mandie uses him as a punching bag for 5 minutes until he begs Danny to imprison him in the Fenton Thermos.
  • Failed Attempt at Scaring: He's the one ghost that can't scare any of the easily spooked humans of Amity Park.
  • Harmless Villain: Danny considers him as unthreatening as Brutis but slightly less difficult to deal with.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Mostly boxes, but him being one of the few ghosts with telekinesis means he can also attack with the items packed inside the boxes, as Danny can testify.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: So much so that nobody really cares whether he's on the loose or not.
  • Silly Spook: Everyone just regards him as a loser who can’t scare anyone since he’s only good for haunting boxes and Team Phantom only captures him so he’ll stop pestering them.
  • Unknown Rival: To Danny, who couldn't care less about him.
  • Villains Want Mercy: After being pummeled by Mandie for 5 minutes straight, he pleads for Danny to trap him in the Fenton Thermos.

     Sidney Poindexter
A nerdy ghost that was bullied so much as a human he died.
  • Anti-Villain: Not really evil, just overzealous in his crusade against bullying.
  • Bully Hunter: Deconstructed as this is what makes him enemies with Danny as he's under the mistaken assumption the ghost boy is a bully.
  • The Cameo: He only appears in chapter 17, where he swiftly loses to Danny.

     Klemper
A huge, annoying ghost who constantly whines about wanting friends.
