The lead duo of the story, Daniel "Danny" Fenton of Amity Park and Princess Mandie Destroyall of Boudacia come across one another when the latter's home planet is teleported away from its original dimension in order to keep the bloodthirsty princess and her planet-conquering race from causing anymore trouble there. After a memorable first encounter, things get stranger for the both of them, for better or worse.

For the uninitiated, Danny is a halfa (half-human/half-ghost) whose powers are the result of a freak lab accident that occurred when he was 14 while Mandie is the princess of an alien race that seeks to conquer the universe.

    open/close all folders
    In General

  • Battle Couple: They regularly team up to battle Danny's enemies, as well as against Brutis and his forces.
  • Blood Knight: They both enjoy a good fight but with Mandie, it’s MUCH more obvious.
  • Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Gender-Inverted. Danny is a mellow Nice Guy while Mandie is a temperamental Blood Knight.
  • Combat Pragmatist: They're not above using dirty tactics against their enemies, or even each other. Tellingly, whenever Mandie relies more on her gadgets while facing Danny, she quickly gets the upper hand.
  • Commonality Connection: One thing they bond over is their mutual hatred over Mandie’s Abhorrent Admirer Brutis.
  • Deadpan Snarker: They both have a rather dry sense of humor.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Once Danny and Mandie get together, they make out a lot, but they always stop short of sex since they're not married yet.
  • Fire/Ice Duo: Danny's powers are somewhat ice-based whereas Mandie's powers and weaponry tend to utilize fire.
  • First Love: Danny and Mandie are both this towards each other, as she admits Danny is the first person she ever truly loved while Danny's feelings for her are stronger than any he ever felt for a girl.
  • Good Is Not Soft: They’re both willing to use physical force on people who antagonize them, especially Mandie when it comes to her two most annoying wannabe suitors, Brutis and Dash.
  • Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Inverted as Danny likes to fight from a distance with ecto-beams while Mandie prefers to rely on her fists and flame sword.
  • Interspecies Romance: Danny is a human/ghost hybris while Mandie is an alien princess.
  • Lady and Knight: They form this dynamic after becoming a couple, though Mandie will defend Danny just as often as he defends her.
  • Lazy Alias: Neither of them are particularly creative when it comes to cover names, with Danny using "Danny Phantom" while Mandie uses "Mandy Hurtz".
  • Make-Out Kids: After they become a couple, they start making out a lot, but they avoid going too far since they are not married yet.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Mandie is loud, ruthless, aggressive, ambitious, and prone to hitting people who annoy her while Danny is more soft-spoken, friendly, passive, humble, and prefers to settle problems in a peaceful manner (unless it involves ghosts or Brutis).
  • Opposites Attract: Danny is the laid-back, humble Nice Guy who is courting the aggressive and ambitious warrior princess Mandie.
  • Personality Powers: Mandie has fire abilities along with flame-based weaponry and is significantly more aggressive than her levelheaded boyfriend Danny, who is An Ice Person with cryokinetic powers.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Mandie is the (literally) fiery, passionate Red to Danny's more level-headed Blue.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Danny is more careful and logical than his violent and battle-hungry girlfriend, Mandie.
  • Seduction-Proof Marriage: A dating variety but the couple only love each other and show no interest in anyone else, ignoring attention from would-be suitors.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: They only have eyes for each other and are usually indifferent to other people who are interested in them (in Brutis’ case, Mandie has to be violent just to get him to leave her alone).
  • Strong Girl, Smart Guy: Danny prefers to think things through while Mandie usually jumps right into battle. Though that doesn't mean she can't plan and scheme, something Danny learns the hard way.
  • Talk to the Fist: They both like to punch their enemies in the face to finally make them shut up, especially when it comes to fighting Brutis, who’s too much of a moronic windbag to leave them alone.
  • Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: Mandie towers over Danny even though she is only technically a year older than him.
  • Undying Loyalty: They have this to each other as they’re quick to defend one another and will fight anyone who messes with them.

    Danny Fenton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/render__danny_fenton_1.png
Ghost/Superhero form
The title character of Danny Phantom who becomes the target of Mandie's affection after he defeats her in battle. Initially, he spurns her, but upon discovering that there's more to her than he initially thought, he slowly begins to lower his defenses...
  • Affectionate Nickname: Mandie likes to call him “darling” and “my love”.
  • Age Lift: He’s 15 here instead of 14 like in canon.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Gender-Inverted, as he finds himself growing close to Mandie despite her violent behavior. Lampshaded by Sam, who incredulously points out that Danny seems drawn to women who threaten his safety.
  • All-Loving Hero: He eventually finds it in himself to give his Stalker with a Crush Mandie a second chance.
  • A Man Is Always Eager: Downplayed. Danny enjoys his deeply passionate, romantic moment with Mandie but he draws the line at going any further than first base.
  • Amazon Chaser: Danny finds himself attracted to Mandie's strength and aggression. One example is when she manages to scare off Paulina and Star with a mere glare.
  • Arch-Enemy:
    • To Brutis, though it's one-sided on his part as Danny just finds him extremely annoying and would rather not deal with him at all.
    • On a much more serious note, he's this to Vlad as the latter is out to kill his dad and steal his mom, not to mention tries to ruin Danny's life every chance he gets out of petty revenge. The feeling of animosity between these two grows stronger as Danny keeps foiling Vlad's plans to gain power and his idea of the perfect family.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Danny is disgusted by Brutis’ sexist and possessive attitude towards Mandie and following the below example below, asks him, “While I don’t like her, I know she’s a person…why don’t you try treating her like one?…” before knocking him out with a punch to the face.
  • Armor-Piercing Response: After Danny makes it clear he has no interest in Mandie during his first fight with Brutis, the furious Boudacian general angrily asks him, “You would reject the prize of royalty!?…”, to which Danny responds that Mandie isn’t a prize. This leaves both Brutis and Mandie speechless because the former doesn’t even consider the latter a person, just a tool for power and royalty, while the latter has never heard anyone defend her like that or acknowledge her as a person rather than just a princess.
  • Badass in Distress: He’s captured by a squad sent by Brutis and imprisoned along with Maurus in the dungeon. They have to team up to escape.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Danny starts to fall for Mandie because she develops sincere feelings for both sides of him, unlike his past crushes, Paulina and Valerie.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Danny is always quick to help Dani, especially when Vlad is involved.
  • Blood Knight: Nowhere near the level of Boudacians or Mandie's family but he does enjoy a good fight.
  • Brutal Honesty:
    • He makes his utter lack of interest in Ember McLain very clear because her beauty does not make up for her inability to give up her evil ways.
    • After his temporary Enemy Mine with Mandie against Vlad Plasmius is over, Danny makes it crystal clear to her he still wants her to get out of his life after all the harassment and there isn’t anything she can do to get him to change his mind. Although, he does decide to give her a second chance as thanks for defending Dani from Vlad’s Ghost Vultures.
    • He bluntly informs Johnny 13 that Kitty should dump him and trade up for a better boyfriend.
  • Childish Villain, Mature Hero: Danny is this compared to his three major enemies in the story, Vlad Plasmius, Princess Mandie Destroyall, and Brutis Forcivul:
    • Danny and Vlad both received powers accidentally thanks to Jack and can be petty, immature jerks, but what separates them is how they treat others. Danny genuinely cares about his loved ones and uses his powers to protect people while Vlad only sees others as potential pawns to throw away when he doesn't need them anymore and prefers to use his powers for personal gain.
    • Danny and Mandie are complete opposites: Danny is a mostly laidback boy from a middle-class family who received powers by accident and can accept rejection while Mandie is a Royal Brat and the top warrior of Boudacia who can't accept it when things don't go her way. This is eventually subverted as Mandie matures by learning to accept Danny's feelings, and his positive influence causes her to rethink her violent, entitled mindset.
    • While Danny is a teenager who often acts just as immature as for his age, he's ultimately a good person who can grow from his mistakes and move on from his misfortunes, and learns to love Mandie for her positive qualities. Brutis, despite being a year older than Danny, is a Psychopathic Manchild who throws a violent tantrum when things don't go his way, puts more energy into trying to kill Danny over an extremely petty grudge, and only sees Mandie as a Meal Ticket instead of a person. When it comes to getting respect, Brutis prefers to throw his weight around and put other people down, whereas Danny prefers to let his deeds speak for him. Finally, when it comes to how they treat each other, Brutis is always the one who instigates conflicts while Danny prefers to just ignore him whenever possible.
  • Commonality Connection: Danny and Mandie bond over their mutual hatred of Brutis for what a mysoginistic jerk he is and like to spend their time coming up with insults for him. They also quickly connect over their love of Earthern food and games after Danny introduces them to Mandie.
  • The Confidant: Danny becomes this to Mandie after befriending her. She likes to tell him about all her problems, especially with her parents and Brutis.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He wears a black jumpsuit in his ghost form and is a superhero.
  • Dating Catwoman: He starts going out with the violent Boudacian warrior Princess Mandie, though she eventually stops being a foe.
  • David Versus Goliath: Danny is smaller than most of his opponents, such as Mandie, Brutis, Skulker (in his robot suit), and Vlad, though is capable of not only holding his own, but also beating them.
  • Declaration of Protection: He becomes very protective of Mandie after befriending her and even offers to help her deal with Brutis whenever he harasses her (unless it involves marriage).
  • Defiant Captive: Being held prisoner doesn't stop him from mouthing off to Mandie, Vlad, or Brutis.
  • Defrosting Ice King: He warms up to Mandie after she saves Dani and begins to fall in love with her after she starts treating him like a person instead of a trophy.
  • Defusing the Tyke-Bomb: It takes some time but Danny manages to convince Mandie not to invade Earth, at least for his sake.
  • Disqualification-Induced Victory: He beats Brutis in their battle at the latter's forced wedding with Mandie when Brutis tries to cheat by using Vlad’s nanites, only to fail when Tucker gets rid of them. Thus, Brutis is disqualified for breaking the rules and forfeits by leaving before finishing the fight. Danny wins and it technically means he has a right to the Boudacian throne if he wants it, but he hands the kingdom back over to Mandie’s folks.
  • Enemy Mine:
    • He temporarily works together with Mandie against Vlad.
    • Danny later forms one with Maurus while they’re locked up in the same prison cell in the Boudacian dungeon in order to escape and save Maurus’ family, then get revenge on Brutis.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • Even when Danny disliked Mandie and wanted her out of his life for good, he admitted she was too good for a sexist jerk like Brutis after seeing the latter is a pathetic creep and pompous moron who only views Mandie as an object.
    • As much as he loves Mandie and wants Brutis to leave them alone, he still refuses to marry her since he’s underage.
    • While Danny finds Ember attractive, he refuses to date her because she's a villain who refuses to change her ways.
    • Mandie herself points out that even when Danny hated her, he still treated her with far more respect than Brutis ever did since he actually acknowledged her as a person and defended her from the obnoxious Boudacian general when he referred to her solely as a prize to be won.
  • Excellent Judge of Character: He knows that Sam would never turn on Team Phantom no matter how mad she is at him and realizes Brutis is even stupider than he thought if the latter believed he could bribe or manipulate Sam into destroying Danny on his behalf during their duel at Brutis and Mandie's forced wedding.
  • Fantastically Indifferent: After meeting Mandie, Danny isn't at all fazed by meeting another alien like Brutis. Possibly justified, as he already dealt with many ghosts by that point.
  • First Love: He is this to Mandie since Danny is the only guy she’s ever loved.
  • Ghostly Chill: One of Danny's ghost powers is the ability to manipulate ice and cold.
  • Glowing Eyesof Doom: His eyes glow a brighter shade of green when pushed too far.
  • Good Is Not Soft:
    • He generally avoids using his powers on jerks but makes a serious exception for Brutis as Danny's fine with beating the tar out of him because Brutis an evil alien conqueror that harasses Mandie and refuses to leave Danny alone since he's obsessed with dueling him for Mandie's hand in marriage.
    • He was also VERY harsh with Mandie when she was stalking him, willing to use Brutal Honesty, insults and even violence against her whenever she attacked him.
  • Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Inverted with Mandie who fights up-close and personal given her warrior training while Danny prefers to use ghost rays for long-range.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Danny is a half-human, half-ghost.
  • Hand Blast: He can fire ecto-energy beams from his hands.
  • Has a Type: Sam wonders if Danny just has a thing for dangerous women who are a threat to his safety since he's dated Dark Action Girls Valerie Gray and Mandie.
  • Hate at First Sight: Danny has hated Brutis ever since they first met when Brutis acted like a complete asshole by insulting and attacking him out of petty jealousy for catching Mandie's interest. The fact that Brutis is an evil alien invader who's a carbon copy of Dash and harasses Mandie doesn't help. Their animosity towards each other only gets worse from there as Brutis becomes increasingly desperate to become king.
  • Hey, You!: He always calls Brutis some insulting nickname, especially to his face to show how much Danny can't stand him for being an antagonistic jerkass since the moment they met.
  • Hopeless Boss Fight: A rare hero example. He's this to Brutis since the snobby Boudacian warrior can never land a single hit before Danny beats him senseless.
  • Humble Hero: He has no interest in power or ruling, much to the confusion of Brutis and Vlad.
  • An Ice Person: Has cryokinesis lets him freeze enemies or make ice weapons.
  • I Can Change My Beloved: He's working on fixing Mandie's negative traits, mainly her temper and desire to conquer planets.
  • Insecure Protagonist, Arrogant Antagonist: He’s a good-natured Nice Guy who is often stressed out by his superhero duties while Brutis is an even bigger hothead and self-absorbed creep than Vlad and Dash put together.
  • Intangibility: Thanks to his ghost powers, Danny can do this to avoid attacks of earthly origin, though similar ghost powers can still affect him.
  • Interspecies Romance: He starts dating the Boudacian princess Mandie Destroyall.
  • Jerkass Has a Point:
    • He quickly picks up on Dieana’s obvious interest in Brutis but knows she doesn’t have a chance with him because the shallow creep only has eyes for Mandie.
    • Even Vlad agrees with him that Brutis can’t be trusted.
    • Vlad also doesn’t deny Danny's accusation that the coup on Boudacia was all his idea and Brutis didn’t contribute anything to the plan.
    • He has every reason to reject Mandie’s marriage proposal, not just because he barely knows her, but also because he’s only a teenager so he doesn’t want to move so fast in a relationship and would prefer to enjoy life before being ready to be tied down.
    • He claims Kitty can do better than Johnny 13, and he isn’t wrong considering Johnny isn’t exactly a faithful boyfriend due to his habit of flirting with any attractive girl he sees.
  • Jerkass to One: He's generally snarky to people he doesn't like but is openly disdainful of Brutis, who Danny genuinely despises, as he's fine with insulting him at every opportunity and beating him. Justified by Brutis being a total creep constantly harassing Mandie, as well as his inability to leave Danny alone because his fragile ego can't accept that Danny is Mandie's chosen mate or that Danny is a better fighter than him.
  • Just Toying with Them: Danny doesn't take Brutis seriously in the slightest as he's no more threatening than the Box Ghost due to being greatly outclassed and prefers to humiliate him by drawing out their fights to make him suffer. Danny only ends the battle by knocking him unconscious when he gets bored of Brutis' stupidity and stubborn refusal to give up because of his pride.
  • Kamehame Hadoken: Danny can unleash a super ecto blast that disintegrated a skeleton ghost and part of a mini-golf course. He uses this on Mandie in their second battle.
  • Kid Hero: He’s a 15-year-old superhero.
  • Light 'em Up: His hand blasts are very bright beams of energy.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He’s strong, tough, and fast enough to beat ghosts and even elite Boudacian warriors like Mandie and Brutis.
  • Lust Object: Is this to Mandie because of his good looks and ghost powers.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: He’s a kindhearted superhero while his girlfriend Mandie is an aggressive warlord-in-training.
  • Make-Out Kids: Mandie is very fond of smothering him with kisses when they're alone.
  • Marry for Love: He’ll only marry a girl he sincerely loves so Mandie works hard to become the kind of girl worthy of his love.
  • Meet the In-Laws: He ends up meeting Mandie’s parents when he’s imprisoned alongside them after being captured by Brutis and they have to team up to escape. It’s tense with Maurus but he hits it off instantly with Milee.
  • Morality Pet: Danny starts to function as one to Mandie since he can keep her temper in check. Since they started dating, Danny has positively influenced her, getting her to consider nonviolent ways to deal with her problems and take other people's feelings and points of view into account. While Mandie is still prideful and willing to defend herself with violence, she always gives reasonable reasons for doing so, and Danny has softened her to the point where she wants to give up on conquest and be a regular teenager with him.
  • Muscles Are Meaningless: Danny has been noted to be a scrawny teenager but possesses remarkable Super-Strength in his ghost form that lets him beat up ghosts and fighters more than twice his size.
  • Nice Guy: He's a genuinely friendly and heroic guy who'd do anything to protect his loved ones.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Concerning the original Team Phantom, Danny is the Nice to Sam’s Mean and Tucker’s In-Between since he’s the friendliest and most easygoing of the group.
  • No Guy Wants to Be Chased: Mandie’s aggressive advances make Danny want to avoid her. He does take an interest when she tones down her pursuit of him.
  • No-Sell: He is completely unimpressed by Brutis' attempts to intimidate him during their first battle since Danny can quickly see him for the annoying Boisterous Weakling he is, then swiftly kicks his butt to get him out of the way.
  • Not So Similar: Danny refutes Vlad and Brutis' claims about only dating Mandie to rule Boudacia by pointing out that they're the ones obsessed with power and he isn't greedy or ambitious like them.
  • Oblivious to Love: Deconstructed as Danny’s inability to recognize Sam’s romantic interest in him leaves him unable to understand why she’s completely against his relationship with Mandie and further strains their friendship.
  • Old Shame: Danny deeply regrets ever having a crush on Paulina after realizing how much of a shallow Spoiled Brat she is.
  • Only Friend: He's this to Mandie as he's the only one outside of her family and Fufu that she's close to.
  • Opposites Attract: He's a superhero Nice Guy in love with the Blood Knight Noble Demon Mandie.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: This applies to practically all of Danny's enemies whenever he defeats them but none more so than Brutis, as all their battles end with the latter needing a full-body cast, quite fitting for a vicious punk and rotten-to-the-core sexist jerk. Also counts as In-Universe Catharsis as Mandie enjoys watching Brutis get the beating he deserves and Danny loves punching him for his awful personality.
  • Personality Powers: He has ice abilities and a cooler head than his short-tempered girlfriend Mandie.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Not really pint-sized but Danny is noticeably shorter and leaner than opponents like Mandie, Brutis, Vlad, and Skulker (in his mech suit) but is capable of beating them without breaking a sweat.
  • Power is Sexy: He does find Mandie’s combat prowess very alluring, especially when she’s beating up his ghostly enemies or Brutis.
  • Pretender Diss: Danny finds Brutis just as obnoxiously loud and incompetent at fighting as the Box Ghost.
  • Real Name as an Alias: He keeps "Danny" as his first name in his heroic alias.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: While ruining the wedding he’s forcing Mandie into, Danny points out to everyone that Brutis is nothing but a moronic opportunist who cheated his way to the throne just to be king because he resorted to cowardly and underhanded tactics like sneak attacks, having minions capture Danny and the royal family, and using Vlad’s nanomachines to win. This plays a role in causing Brutis’ followers to turn on him after he proves unworthy of being king of Boudacia for being a dishonorable Dirty Coward by trying to kill Danny with Vlad’s nanites during their fight and even convince Sam to fight him on Brutis' behalf.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni:
    • Is the calm and cautious Blue Oni to Mandie's short-tempered and brash Red Oni.
    • Interestingly enough, he also has this dynamic with her father during their Enemy Mine by being the subtle and logical Blue Oni to Maurus' reckless and brutal Red Oni.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Danny is more cautious and logical than his hot-blooded girlfriend Mandie.
  • Seduction-Proof Marriage: A dating variety but while Danny has several female admirers who try to pursue him, he only has eyes for Mandie.
  • Seen It All: Fighting ghosts and violent Boudacians on a regular basis has left him unperturbed by threats so he isn't the least bit afraid of Brutis or Mandie's dad Maurus.
  • Shipper on Deck: Danny actually thinks Dieana is more Brutis’ type than Mandie.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: After they start dating, Mandie becomes the only girl that Danny has eyes for and he’s developing feelings for her that are stronger than anything he’s ever felt for any girl before, including Paulina, Valerie, and Sam, as Team Phantom has noticed.
  • Smarter Than You Look: Despite his lackluster grades, Danny is cunning, imaginative, surprisingly perceptive, and has an excellent memory. He's good at coming up with plans on the fly in the heat of battle.
  • The Snark Knight: Danny deals with aggression this way.
  • Strength Equals Worthiness: Mandie chooses Danny as her mate because he’s the first boy she’s ever fought who was strong enough to overpower and beat her in a fight, plus she’s impressed by his fearlessness and determination since he’s willing to stand up to her.
  • Strong and Skilled: While not really formally trained, Danny has plenty of combat experience from his weekly ghost battles and his powers make him strong enough to easily beat most ghosts and elite Boudacian warriors like Mandie and Brutis.
  • Taking the Bullet: When Sam shoots at Milee after mistaking her for Mandie, Danny jumps in and takes the blast, which hits his shoulder.
  • Taught by Experience: Danny is mostly self-taught when it comes to fighting but he has plenty of combat experience thanks to his weekly ghost battles.
  • This Is Reality: Danny points out to Mandie how crazy it is for her to expect him to marry her since they barely know each other and he's only a teenager.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Mandie points out to her dad Maurus that the only reason Brutis survives his fights with Danny is because of the ghost boy's mercy.
  • Turned Off By The Jerkass:
    • Despite Mandie’s beauty, he rejects her for being a vicious Blood Knight out to conquer the universe and marry him by force so she can have him father powerful children that she’ll raise into tyrants. However, he does warm up to her when she saves Dani and their growing friendship causes Mandie to soften up enough for them to start a relationship.
    • He admits to Mandie that he only liked Paulina for her beauty but lost interest after finally noticing her flaws and doesn’t want anything to do with someone who’s too shallow to like him for anything but his ghost powers.
    • He has no interest in Ember McLain because of her unpleasant attitude and goals for world domination.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Danny lacks formal training but compensates with his creativity and year worth of experience battling ghosts.
  • Underestimating Badassery: While he can handle Mandie in a straight-up fight, he doesn't consider her ability to adapt and bring new gadgets to handicap him. This leads to her outright defeating him in Chapter 18, and had Vlad not intervened for his own reasons, she'd have successfully dragged Danny back to Boudacia and married him right there and then.
  • Undying Loyalty: He has this to his hometown Amity Park, friends, family, and girlfriend Mandie.
  • Uptight Loves Wild: While not really uptight, he finds himself drawn to the impulsive, battle-hungry Mandie.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Gender-Inverted. Danny is more than happy to beat up Brutis for Mandie, though he knows she can easily fend him off herself.
  • Warts and All: He’s grown to love Mandie despite her temper, obsession with fighting, and Blood Knight tendencies (although they’re working on fixing her flaws).

    Princess Mandie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/princess_mandie_2.png
A violent alien princess from the warrior planet Boudacia whom, after she and her homeworld are sent to the DP Universe, discovers Danny and plots to make him her next husband after he beats her in battle and take over both her new universe and her old one. At least initially.
  • Abduction Is Love: She sees nothing wrong with abducting Danny to make him her husband.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: Despite her good looks and status as a princess, Danny rejects her advances due to her desire to conquer worlds, as well as her demands of marriage and children after only recently meeting each other. Subverted when he warms up to the idea of being at least friends with Mandie after she saves Dani's life, and eventually reciprocates her feelings.
  • Act of True Love: Mandie agrees to marry Brutis as long as he spares her parents and Danny.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Mandie is a much kinder person here and eventually drops her possessive attitude toward Danny in favor of earning his love the right way and pulls a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Adaptational Sympathy: While still a would-be Galactic Conqueror and Stalker with a Crush to Danny, she's portrayed in a more tragic light here than in canon and Flower princess11's previous fanfic. She is under constant pressure from her parents (especially her father) to get married and provide an heir to the throne, and is harassed by her Abhorrent Admirer Brutis, who seeks to wed her just to become king. It's heavily implied she doesn't truly have anyone she is close to on Boudacia besides her parents and her beloved pet, Fufu. While her desire to marry Danny is due to selfish reasons, she comes off as a Jerkass Woobie due to the insane amount of expectations that she is facing. It's even worse since her divorce from Mark is considered a source of great shame on her planet. Mandie's father is really not cutting her any slack and she truly seems to believe that the only way to regain her honor is to remarry a powerful warrior and produce strong offspring.
  • Affably Evil: Despite being a villain who lusts for him, she seems capable of being civil with Danny during awkward or otherwise comical moments.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Her mother calls her "Little Monster".
  • Aggressive Submissive: Despite being actively flirtatious and very forward with her advances, she enjoys Danny taking charge during their make-out sessions.
  • Aliens Love Human Food: Mandie quickly grows to adore human food after Danny introduces it to her. She has a particular fondness for ice cream and other sweets. She also likes hamburgers from the Nasty Burger.
  • Alien Princess: She is the crown princess of her homeworld.
  • Aliens Speaking English: Same as the Yugopotamians and the Gigglepies, the Bodacians speak perfect human English.
  • All Amazons Want Hercules: She is in love with Danny due to his powers and skills as a fighter.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Subverted with Mandie. While she's impressed by Danny's powers and fighting skills, she ultimately falls in love with him for being a kind, considerate Humble Hero, and rejects the loudmouthed, arrogant, and obnoxious jerk Brutis (who has a slew of fangirls that swoon when he's around).
  • All Women Are Lustful: She originally just wanted to marry Danny because he bested her in combat (and to avoid an arranged marriage with Brutis). However, her desire soon turns into genuine lust as she becomes very fond of smothering Danny in hugs and kisses, and is quite eager to marry him and have kids as soon as possible. She tones this attitude down after they actually start dating and her feelings for Danny become more sincere, though Mandie is still very affectionate with him when they're alone.
  • Amazonian Beauty: Mandie's an alien warrior princess and she's considered gorgeous by Earth Standards.
  • And Now You Must Marry Me: She tries to marry Danny by force in the beginning but abandons the idea in favor of earning his love so he'll propose to her by his own choice.
  • Arranged Marriage: Mandie is desperately trying to AVOID having one with Brutis.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: She is the crown princess of her home planet, and is stated more than once to be their most powerful female warrior.
  • At Least I Admit It: Mandie points out to Sam that the former is brave enough to admit her interest in Danny while Sam Cannot Spit It Out that she's in love with him.
  • Ax-Crazy: She is just as aggressive and violent here as she was in her canon appearances. She begins toning down these impulses to an extent thanks to Danny's influence.
  • Badass Boast: "I am the universe's mightiest female warrior!"
  • Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: She makes it clear that the only reason she hasn't killed Brutis already is because her parents won't let her.
  • Badass in Distress: She’s banished to her original universe by Dieana and needs Timmy’s help to get back to Boudacia, only to be captured by Vlad upon returning to her home planet. She’s later forced to marry Brutis after him and Vlad threaten to kill Danny and her parents with nanobots.
  • The Beautiful Elite: The Princess of Boudacia and very gorgeous.
  • Beauty, Brains, and Brawn: She is the Beauty to Sam’s Brawn and Jazz's Brains.
  • Beauty Is Bad: She is beautiful on the outside, but evil on the inside. Subverted when she softens up over time thanks to her growing friendship (and later romance) with Danny, and eventually redeems herself.
  • Beauty Equals Goodness: She later becomes a much kinder and more thoughtful person thanks to her romance with Danny as his positive influence is rubbing off her.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: She eventually develops sincere feelings for Danny after he saves her and for treating her like a person instead of a Meal Ticket like Brutis does.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: She wanted an excuse to get rid of Brutis for good and she gets it... when he betrays the royal family and takes over Boudacia.
  • Berserk Button: She's pretty temperamental but here are the things that really tick her off:
    • Brutis, just Brutis. Even the thought of the person she hates the most makes her set her hair ablaze.
    • She won't stand for anyone hurting or even threatening Danny once they grow closer.
  • Best Her to Bed Her: Gender-Inverted. She wishes to make Danny her mate because he beat her in a fight.
  • Betty and Veronica: She is the Veronica to Sam's Betty for Danny's Archie.
  • Blunt "No": She never wastes any time when it comes to rejecting her most annoying Abhorrent Admirers Brutis and Dash.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Loves to fight and will let you know it.
  • Break the Haughty: It takes Danny not only constantly rejecting her, but saving her life despite his feelings towards her being closer to hatred than love, for Mandie to start feeling her previous ways of thinking breaking apart.
  • Bright Is Not Good: Wears a white dress and is a vicious galactic conqueror. Subverted once she undergoes a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Brutal Honesty: She's very upfront about her hatred for her suitors, especially Brutis, as she makes it clear she'll never marry any of them.
  • Bully Hunter:
    • She beats up Dash Baxter for harassing her and Danny.
    • She pummels Vickey in their rematch after the latter starts bullying Timmy.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: She's tall, well-endowed, and has an hourglass-like figure. No wonder guys find her hot.
  • The Cassandra: Her father Maurus doesn’t listen to her or her mother Milee’s complaints about Brutis being a pathetic scumbag that’s unworthy of being Mandie's mate or king because while he’s aware of Brutis’ flaws, he ignores them under the belief that Brutis' good qualities make up for them and he thinks Mandie is just being a stubborn rebellious teenager. It’s not until Brutis betrays and captures the royal family that Maurus admits his family was right about trusting Brutis being a mistake.
  • Changing Yourself for Love: After bribes, threats, and violence fail to win Danny over, she decides to earn his love the natural way by getting to know him better and becoming a more moral person so he’ll reciprocate.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She becomes very attached to Danny to intrusive levels.
  • Close-Range Combatant: While her advanced alien weaponry gives her plenty of options for long-range like her flame sword that can fire lasers and freeze enemies in carbonite, she prefers to fight up-close with her fists and flame sword.
  • Combat Stilettos: She wears high heels all the time, even when she's hunting Danny.
  • The Complainer Is Always Wrong: Inverted as Maurus dismisses her complaints of Brutis being unworthy of being her mate and king because he thinks she’s just being a rebellious, stubborn teenager. He learns the hard way that Mandie was right when Brutis betrays the royal family in a coup to take over Boudacia.
  • Conquering Alien Prince: Or Princess, in this case. The whole reason she's even pursuing Mark is because she wants to use their marriage to rule the galaxy. Now she has her sights set on taking over Danny’s universe and her old one.
  • Crime of Self-Defense: Sam blows up on Mandie for using violence on Dash, no matter how much he had it coming. Downplayed in Danny's case as he's fine with Mandie getting back at the bully, but only as long as she doesn't go too far.
  • Daddy's Girl: Despite her clashes with her father, Maurus dotes on her and lavishes her with anything she wants.
  • Daddy's Little Villain: While her relationship with her father is strained, they genuinely love each other and Mandie seeks his approval.
  • Dark Action Girl: She's called the mightiest female warrior in the universe for a good reason as she's capable of giving Danny a hard time in a fight. She somewhat resembles a science-fiction variation of Xena.
  • Dartboard of Hate: More like "Punching Dummy of Hate" but whenever Mandie is feeling particularly angry, she likes to blow off steam by training in her room, such as using a punching dummy that looks like Brutis.
  • Dating What Daddy Hates: Mandie is infatuated with Danny and eventually starts dating him, while her father believes Danny is beneath her.
  • Deadlier Than The Male: She's a far more capable warrior than any of the male soldiers on Boudacia and is more vicious (and devious) than Danny.
  • Death Glare: She loves giving these, mainly to Brutis since he's the object of her hatred. She does this every time he bugs her for her hand in marriage, especially when he threatens her and her boyfriend, not that either Mandie or Danny find him intimidating and just send him packing with a good kick to the butt. She also glares at Paulina and Star when they try to bully her, which quickly makes them back down.
  • Declaration of Protection: After starting to date Danny, she vows to protect him and his planet from Brutis and her own family.
  • Determinator: Resists Brutis at every opportunity he gets and refuses to go along with her father's attempts to pair them together. It gets to the point where Brutis tries to sabotage her relationship with Danny and Maurus would sooner execute Danny than let him date Mandie, not that the couple would ever let them succeed.
  • The Dissenter Is Always Right: Her family realizes she was right all along to hate Brutis when he takes over Boudacia and captures Mandie’s loved ones in an insane attempt to force her into marriage.
  • Dominant Species Genes: Her mother is a pure Boudacian while her father is an unnamed alien who married into the royal family. Mandie takes after her mother in looks.
  • Dude Magnet: She is considered gorgeous, which Brutis, Tucker, and Dash notice. Even Danny admits she is beautiful despite his initial dislike of her.
  • Enemy Mine:
    • She teams up with Danny to escape the Ghost Zone and fight off Vlad Plasmius.
    • After being banished to her original universe by Dieana, she forms one with Timmy and his fairies to return to Danny’s universe.
  • Entitled to Have You: She believes Danny belongs to her due to him being strong enough to beat her in a fight. She slowly drops this attitude overtime and settles for getting to know Danny better in hopes of them forming a real relationship one day, and eventually succeeds in gaining his affection.
  • Enraged by Idiocy: She has little patience for anyone who wastes her time, especially fools like Dash and Brutis who can never take a hint that she wants nothing to do with them. She likes to reward their stupidity with bruises.
  • Entitled Bitch: She expects Danny to marry her regardless of his feelings on the matter and even is willing to kidnap him to make him her husband by force. She eventually drops this attitude by deciding to earn Danny's love by getting to know him better.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: One of Mandie's redeeming qualities is her genuine love for her family and pet Fufu.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • She can't stand Brutis because he's too much of a conceited, sexist idiot.
    • She refuses to engage in sex before marriage.
    • She is disgusted by Vlad’s creepy 20-year long obsession with Danny’s mom Maddie.
    • She’s also disgusted by Vlad’s callous treatment of the clones of Danny that he created, especially since they were practically children due to Boudacians valuing protecting their offspring. She’s also repulsed that Brutis would willingly team up with someone like Vlad.
    • She may have been willing to kidnap Danny to force him to marry her, but only reserved her actions towards him. Thus, she's outraged that Brutis would force her into marriage by holding Danny and her parents hostage.
    • She finds Johnny 13 too much of a sleazy weakling and pathetic Dirty Coward for her tastes even she wasn’t dating Danny.
    • She considers Dash just as much of a moronic creep as Brutis but even easier to beat up.
    • She doesn’t want her moronic wannabe-suitor Brutis anywhere near her chosen mate Danny because that idiot will definitely challenge him to a fight just to satisfy his pathetically fragile ego and she doesn’t want him to ruin the progress she’s making in her relationship with Danny.
    • She finds it completely pathetic that Brutis is too much of a petty Sore Loser to give up his vendetta on Danny because his fragile ego can’t accept that the ghost boy is a vastly superior warrior than himself. She has no problem voicing this opinion to her father, Maurus.
    • While she usually obeys her parents, Mandie draws the line when it comes to Brutis since nothing they say or do will ever make her get engaged to an oafish moron like him.
    • After her Heel–Face Turn, she makes it clear to Brutis that even her old self would never marry a weakling like him and the new her would never marry a madman like him either.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good:
    • She’s surprised that Danny refuses to marry her despite her beauty and powers, unable to grasp that he wouldn’t want to be with a girl he doesn’t love, especially one as temperamental and obsessed with conquering planets like her. She eventually accepts that she can’t force Danny into a relationship and decides to earn his love the right way.
    • Mandie can't understand why Danny would save her from an exploding ship despite everything she did to him and his severe dislike of her.
    • Downplayed as while she has had allies, the concept of friendship is alien to her since Boudacians don't really associate with others unless it's for personal benefit.
  • Evil Is Bigger: She towers over Danny and most humans, although she’s considered short by Boudacian standards.
  • Eviler than Thou: Sam considers her worse than Paulina since she’s a violent alien conqueror instead of just a shallow Spoiled Brat.
  • Evil Virtues:
    • Bravery: She always looks forward to battling an opponent, especially if they're stronger than her.
    • Determination: She does not quit, especially when she really wants something.
    • Honesty: She always keeps her promises.
    • Loyalty: She treasures her family, pet Fufu, and boyfriend Danny.
    • Honor: She does honor her word and believes in fighting fair.
  • Excellent Judge of Character:
    • Besides maybe her mom, Mandie is the only one on Boudacia who can see Brutis for what he is underneath his charming facade: a brainless, power-hungry, and sexist jerk who only cares about himself. Unfortunately, she ends up underestimating just how far he will go to become king.
    • She instantly distrusts Vlad and refuses to enter an alliance with him because she can see he’s a greedy schemer that loves to schmooze people.
  • Expy:
    • She has a number of similarities with Starfire, being an alien princess with Blood Knight tendencies whose powers are fueled by her emotions and forms a romance with a human superhero. Her hair even turns into fire when she's enraged.
    • Like the previous fanfic, she shares common traits with Esdeath, being a sadistic barbarian who wants to corrupt her younger love interest into becoming a bloodthirsty conqueror completely under her thumb. Two of her interactions with Danny even mirror Esdeath's interactions with Tatsumi: she chains Danny up, knocks him out with a chop to the back of his neck, and then hoists him over her shoulder; and she steals a kiss from him after they are teleported somewhere and he asks her to hit him in order to see if they're in an illusion. However, whereas Esdeath proved to be a complete sociopath who refused to abandon her evil ways and only truly cared about herself, Mandie proved capable of actually developing as a person, and even at her worst, she still cared about her parents, whereas Esdeath simply dismissed her father as "weak" when he died.
    • She’s a warrior princess from space who wants to marry an Earth superhero because he defeated her in combat. Are we talking about Mandie or Queen Maxima?
  • Fate Worse than Death: She views marriage to Brutis as this to the point she'd rather, in the best case scenario, either kill him or send him into deep space with no chance of returning, and in the worst case scenario, either die or spend eternity in prison.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Downplayed but she and Sam develop some respect for each other when they join forces to fight Vlad and Brutis at the wedding that latter forced Mandie into, especially since Mandie was impressed with Sam for standing up to and shooting Brutis.
  • First Love: She is this to Danny since his feelings for Mandie are stronger than any girl he’s ever liked before, including Sam, Paulina, and Valerie.
  • Flaming Hair: Her hair turns to fire when she's angered enough.
  • Flaming Sword: This is her primary weapon and she can use it to freeze enemies in carbonite. But she needs to charge it.
  • Foil: To Sam. They’re both Action Girls from wealthy families that can be very stubborn, have feelings for Danny that border on possessiveness, and a strained relationship with their fathers who disapprove of their interest in Danny. But Mandie is open about her feelings for Danny and is growing closer to him despite their rough start while Sam Cannot Spit It Out and her jealousy of Mandie is straining her friendship with Danny.
  • Freudian Excuse: Her initially villainous, bloodthirsty attitude was heavily implied to be due to being raised by warlords as part of a warrior race that valued strength and power above all.
  • Friendless Background: Besides her parents and Fufu, there isn't anyone on Boudacia Mandie is close to, so she considers Danny her first friend.
  • Galactic Conqueror: She schemes to conquer the galaxy. She lessens this desire due to Danny's influence.
  • Generation Xerox: She and her father are a lot alike in terms of personality and abilities, being prideful warriors with some control over fire.
  • Genius Bruiser: You wouldn't think so at first due to her temper and bloodlust, but Mandie is quite intelligent. She's knowledgeable in the usage of poisons as well as creating and utilizing extremely high-tech gadgetry for specific situations, the latter allowing her to outright defeat and capture Danny whenever she uses them.
  • The Gentleman or the Scoundrel: Even before meeting him, Mandie quickly took a huge liking to the kind and chivalrous Nice Guy Danny Phantom (the Gentleman) over the sexist, narcissistic jerkass Brutis (the Scoundrel).
  • Girly Bruiser: She likes to wear dresses and dotes on her pet Fufu, but also has super strength and a violent temper.
  • Gold Digger: Mandie admits she only agreed to marry Mark Chang to get his planet, but also mainly to avoid an Arranged Marriage to Brutis.
  • Good Feels Good: She learns to genuinely enjoy heroism even when fighting isn’t involved thanks to Danny’s love and encouragement.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She doesn't like the thought of any girl expressing interest in Danny, especially Sam and Ember McLain.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: She has yellow-green skin, antennae, and fangs—and she is gorgeous.
  • Guile Heroine: She only played along with Brutis' forced marriage ultimatum to keep her loved ones alive and get close enough to snatch his remote that he was using to control the nanites implanted in her parents and Danny.
  • Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Inverted with Danny who tends to rely on Hand Blasts while Mandie prefers close-combat by either punching her opponents or slashing them with her flame sword.
  • Ham-to-Ham Combat: This is the logical conclusion whenever she gets into a shouting match with either Brutis or Maurus.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: It doesn't take much to anger her considering that she's got quite a fiery temper for a space princess.
  • Has a Type: At first, she only liked Danny for his power, but genuinely fell in love with his Nice Guy nature.
  • Hate at First Sight:
    • Mandie has hated Brutis ever since the day they first met since she could see him for the two-faced creep he is.
    • Mandie and Sam have hated each since they first met as the space princess regards the goth girl as a pest and potential love rival when it comes to Danny, while Sam is jealous of Mandie for being interested in Danny and hates the would-be conqueror for her violent, war-like ways.
    • She dislikes Vlad immediately upon meeting him for being an obvious power-hungry snake that’s trying to brown nose her. The fact he ruined her hunt for Danny by distracting her long enough for him to regain consciousness was certainly a factor.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After being saved by Danny and receiving a second chance from him, Mandie has stopped antagonizing him in favor of earning his love the normal way and gives up on wanting to conquer Earth.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • While Mandie hates Timmy Turner for ruining her plans to rule Yugopotamia, she at least respects him as a Worthy Opponent and fellow warrior since he has powerful allies and is far less annoying than Brutis.
    • Mandie does value more than looks and wealth in a guy since she utterly despises Brutis for being too much of a moronic Jerk Jock and obnoxious Boisterous Weakling for her liking despite his handsomeness and hailing from a very prominent noble family.
  • Hormone-Addled Teenager: Her reaction to seeing Danny is to smother him with suffocating hugs and kisses at any chance, regardless of his consent. After genuinely falling in love with him, she becomes more considerate of his feelings and asks for permission before getting all handsy.
  • Hot-Blooded: She has a really fiery temper.
  • Hot Consort: Mandie was originally going to make Danny this because she was drawn to his handsomeness and powers, but drops the idea after sincerely falling in love with him.
  • Hypocrite:
    • She constantly rejects suitors but can't handle being rejected herself.
    • Danny calls her out on this for hating Brutis due to his inability to accept she doesn't like him when she has no problem being an Abhorrent Admirer to Danny.
    • She can't understand why Danny would ever date Valerie Gray after the latter hunted him, but he points out he's dating Mandie and she hunted him. Mandie concedes this and drops the issue.
  • I Gave My Word: One of her more noble qualities is that she always keeps her promises.
  • Ignored Expert: Downplayed. While Milee and the royal court take her claims of Danny's combat prowess seriously, Maurus and Brutis still arrogantly dismiss Danny as a weakling.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: She’s secretly lonely because her pet Fufu is her only friend and she’s harassed by jerks like Brutis who only care about marrying her to become king. She develops a strong attachment to Danny for showing her genuine kindness even when they were enemies. She even admits to Danny that she genuinely seeks companionship.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: Unlike the shallow and power-hungry Brutis, she does genuinely seek companionship and eventually considers Danny a true friend after he befriends her.
  • I Love You Because I Can't Control You: Part of Mandie’s interest in Danny stems from the fact she rarely encounters someone who not only stands up to her but has the power to back it up.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Part of what makes her attractive by human standards.
  • Interspecies Romance: Mandie pursues a relationship with the human/ghost hybrid superhero Danny Phantom.
  • In the Blood: She is as beautiful as her mother but gets her temper from her father.
  • It's All About Me: She is very selfish and arrogant. She starts to grow out of this in later chapters.
  • It Amused Me: She likes to humiliate Brutis for her own amusement. Then again, he brings it on himself since he won't leave her alone.
  • It Must Be Mine!: She refuses to go after any guy aside from Danny, mostly to avoid marriage to Brutis and restore her honor from the humiliation of being divorced by Mark.
  • I Warned You: After defeating Brutis at the wedding he forced her into, Mandie doesn’t waste any time yelling, “I told you so” at her dad Maurus about how she was right about Brutis being an untrustworthy snake all these years and that Danny is a much better choice for her mate than the cowardly Boisterous Weakling warrior.
  • Jerkass Has a Point:
    • After seeing how much of an annoying, misogynistic creep Brutis is upon meeting him, Danny completely understands why Mandie wants nothing to do with him and admits she's too good for that alien bonehead.
    • She calls Sam out on being a Clingy Jealous Girl to Danny despite not having the guts to be honest about her feelings for him to anyone, even herself, unlike Mandie who openly desires Danny. She also thinks Danny can do better than Sam, with the latter’s possessive and jealous attitude towards him doing nothing to disprove Mandie’s claim.
    • She makes it clear to everyone that a glory-seeking idiot like Brutis would make a terrible king for Boudacia and her parents (especially her father) are finally forced to agree with her after Brutis’ coup makes them realize Brutis is indeed unworthy of her hand in marriage.
    • Maurus is also forced to admit that Mandie was right that all along he was just wasting his time trying to marry her off to Brutis after realizing what a self-serving bastard the latter is when he betrays the Boudacian royal family.
    • She doesn’t waste any time commenting on Dieana’s poor taste in men for being enamored with an asshole like Brutis, especially since Dieana fails to realize he only has eyes for Mandie.
    • During her forced wedding with Brutis, Mandie points out that it was obvious she’d never marry him because she doesn’t love him and never will. Even her old self wouldn’t marry a weakling or mad man like Brutis, especially after he imprisoned her loved ones and took over her planet.
  • Jerkass to One: Mandie isn't a pleasant person in general but she always reserves her full fury for Brutis.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While still a temperamental Blood Knight, she has a soft spot for her parents, her pet Fufu, and eventually her boyfriend Danny.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: She never gave a crap about Mark and only wanted to marry him so she could gain more power (and avoid marrying Brutis). She softens up after dating Danny.
  • Karmic Jackpot: Mandie's decision to spare Dani convinces Danny to give the Boudacian princess a second chance. She eventually becomes his girlfriend.
  • Lady of War: She's a beautiful princess who's very passionate about fighting.
  • Large Ham: Her voice goes up when she loses her temper.
  • Lesser of Two Evils: Mandie only agreed to marry Mark Chang for his planet and because she didn't want to risk her father pushing her into marrying Brutis, which made her prefer to have offspring with the space squid.
  • A Lighter Shade of Black:
    • Compared to Brutis; Mandie is a vicious Blood Knight but possesses redeeming qualities like her sincere love for her family and Fufu. Eventually, she makes a Heel–Face Turn. Even Danny admits she's too good for a misogynistic jerk like Brutis.
    • Tucker points out to Sam that Mandie isn't the worst girl to ever pursue Danny as all she wanted to do was force him to marry her instead of try to kill him like Valerie.
    • She comes off as far less vile than Vicky, especially after her Heel–Face Turn.
  • Lonely Rich Kid: Aside from Fufu, Danny is the first real friend she’s ever made since on her planet the males just want to marry her for her beauty and throne while the females are scared of her for her temper or are jealous that she’s the object of Brutis’ interest.
  • Love at First Punch: She fell for Danny after he beat her in a fight.
  • Love Hungry: Deconstructed and reconstructed. She does genuinely want love but is bad at accepting rejection and her selfishness causes her to put her own needs above others so she comes off as a clingy, overbearing stalker. Thankfully, her friendship with Danny is helping her realize that true love is about putting others before yourself.
  • Love Redeems: Her growing romantic relationship with Danny softens her up into a more considerate person and she drops her villainous goals.
  • Lust: Despite originally going after Danny just to avoid an Arranged Marriage with Brutis and to redeem herself to her people, she seems to fall really hard for Danny and becomes very lustful towards him. She truly seems to enjoy hugging and kissing him at any chance.
  • Lust Makes You Dumb: Danny is able to use her feelings for him to manipulate her into helping him escape from her ship.
  • Lust Object:
    • Brutis sees her as this, much to her disgust.
    • She sees Danny as this as her first instinct upon seeing him is to make out with the ghost boy.
  • Make-Out Kids: She does this frequently with Danny with or without his permission, but she does ask for his consent when they start dating.
  • Marry for Love: After falling for Danny’s noble qualities, this becomes Mandie’s reason for wanting to marry him. This is also one of the MANY reasons why Mandie refuses to marry Brutis as she makes it clear to him that she doesn’t love him and never will.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: She’s a violent Blood Knight while her boyfriend Danny is a friendly Martial Pacifist.
  • Military Brat: Both her parents are feared warlords.
  • Moral Myopia: She's disgusted by the thought of being forced to marry Brutis when he treats her like a trophy but has no problem doing the same to Danny for her own benefit, which he calls her out on. After Mandie realizes the errors of her ways, she seeks to make amends with Danny.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Leaving aside the Yugopotamians, all the male characters find her very attractive (especially Cosmo and Tucker). She's very proud of being this as she considers herself the most beautiful female in Boudacia.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Mandie didn’t have a last name in canon or Flower princess11's previous fanfic but here she comes from the house of Destroyall.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Her name's pronounced "Man-die" and her family name is “Destroyall”.
  • Never My Fault: She refuses to accept that it was her own fault she got arrested when she went to Earth and lost a fight to Vicky instead of waiting for the Boudacian Armada to come as planned. She blames the whole thing on Mark for tricking her and Vicky for beating her up.
  • No Challenge Equals No Satisfaction: She takes no pleasure in continuously hurting Brutus despite how much she hates him, as it's too easy.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown:
    • Mandie inflicts a rather brutal one on Skulker's true tiny form by crushing him for several minutes.
    • She also delivers a very vicious one to the Box Ghost for five minutes that leaves him begging Danny to suck him into the Fenton Thermos.
  • No Indoor Voice: She screams and yells so often, this might as well be one of her primary traits.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: Mandie prefers to end her fights with Brutis as quickly as possible to get away from him. She also likes to aim for her opponent's head in battle.
  • No-Sell: She proves immune to Vlad’s attempts at overshadowing her.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: She's very handsy with Danny.
  • No Social Skills: She has a hard time getting along with others because of her temper and Spoiled Brat attitude. Danny is helping her work on this.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Just like in canon, as Danny finds out.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Danny calls Mandie out on acting no better than Brutis since she despises the latter for being an Abhorrent Admirer that treats her only as a prize, but fails to realize she acts the same way towards Danny by ignoring his feelings and trying to force him to marry her.
  • Not So Similar: To Brutis. Both are proud and temperamental Bodacian warriors from noble families that act like Abhorrent Admirers to someone who loathes them for their possessive and entitled attitudes (Mandie to Danny and Brutis to Mandie herself), but the difference is Mandie actually possesses redeeming qualities. Mandie is Affably Evil and genuinely caring toward her loved ones while Brutis is Faux Affably Evil at best and only cares about himself. Both have shallow reasons for trying to marry the object of their affections (Mandie wants Danny to give her powerful children and to desperately avoiding marrying Brutis while Brutis just wants Mandie for her good looks and crown) but Mandie genuinely desires companionship so she eventually develops real feelings for Danny and fives up on forcing him to be with her in favor of earning his love. Meanwhile, Brutis only grows more and more possessive of Mandie to the point of becoming obsessed with killing her boyfriend and marrying her by force.
  • Oblivious to Hatred: Mandie doesn't notice Dieana's contempt for her until the latter spitefully tells the entire royal court about Mandie's relationship with Danny and her visits to Earth just to meet him. She also didn't realize that Dieana was intensely jealous of her for being the object of Brutis’ affections.
  • Of Corsets Sexy: She wears an emerald-colored corset.
  • Offing the Annoyance: She has wanted to do this to Brutis for years because he cannot take a hint to leave her alone, but is stopped by her parents because of the consequences of killing a nobleman without justification.
  • Old Shame: Her divorce from Mark is considered a great shame in her culture.
  • One Head Taller: Danny comes up to her bosom. Naturally, this gives her plenty of opportunities to subject him to Marshmallow Hell.
  • Only Friend: Her pet Gloarksman Fufu was this to her before she befriended Danny.
  • Only One Name: Subverted. It’s unknown if she even had a last name in The Fairly OddParents but here, it’s Destroyall.
  • Opposites Attract: She's a proud warrior princess dating Nice Guy Danny Fenton.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Whenever she beats up Brutis. She also subjects Vicky to this during their rematch after the latter starts bullying Timmy.
  • Personality Powers: She has fire powers and a short fuse.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • She's very affectionate and caring toward her pet Gloarksman Fufu.
    • She keeps her promise to release Danny's friends in exchange for his cooperation after capturing him.
    • Even before forming a truce with Danny, Mandie was very protective of him as she didn’t want Brutis anywhere near the ghost boy, even though she already knew that the arrogant Boudacian general was too much of an incompetent Boisterous Weakling to actually pose a threat to Danny in battle.
    • As angry as she gets at Sam for insulting her, Mandie never fights her and just resorts to snarking back at her (mainly because she doesn’t want to make Danny upset with her for hurting his best friend).
    • After starting to date Danny, she makes a genuine effort to befriend Jazz and Tucker (partly because they don’t antagonize her like Sam does).
  • Pointy Ears: Much like a Vulcan's.
  • Polite Villains, Rude Heroes: She had this dynamic with Danny before her Heel–Face Turn as Mandie was capable of being genuinely courteous with him when she wasn't busy fighting him or smothering him with kisses while Danny didn't bother hiding his dislike of her and made it clear he wanted her out of his life.
  • Playing Hard to Get: She thinks Danny is being this at first but eventually realizes he doesn’t like her and she can’t force him to so Mandie sets out to learn his love.
  • Playing with Fire: She can light her hair on fire when enraged and wields a flame sword.
  • Politically-Active Princess: She’s been helping her parents in their conquest of planets since childhood.
  • Power is Sexy: She became infatuated with Danny after witnessing his raw power firsthand in their fight.
  • Pragmatic Villainy:
    • She doesn’t want her repulsive Abhorrent Admirer Brutis attacking Danny since it could threaten her relationship with the ghost boy.
    • She avoids attacking Sam no matter how irritating the latter is because Mandie knows Danny won't approve of her hurting his friends.
  • Pretender Diss: Mandie is very disdainful of Brutis because he’s nowhere near as good a warrior as he claims to be.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: She’s a beautiful princess who’s a fierce warrior that can beat up Danny’s rogues gallery.
  • Proud Beauty: She's very proud of her good looks to the point she calls herself the most beautiful girl on Boudacia. Sam considers her to be on par with Paulina in this regard.
  • The Proud Elite: She makes it very clear that she enjoys and takes great pride in being the heir to the Boudacian throne.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: Mandie's less of a supervillain and more of an entitled Spoiled Brat with violent tendencies. Thankfully, she does mellow out after befriending Danny.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Has long purple hair like her mother, and is the best warrior on Boudacia.
  • Rebellious Princess: While she respects her parents, she's not above going behind their backs to visit Danny on Earth.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She’s the Red Oni to her mother Milee’s Blue Oni because Milee frequently reminds her to keep a cooler head and not act rashly when she blows her top.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: While she's given up on conquering Earth and forcing Danny into marriage, she's still an aggressive Blood Knight though Danny is helping her work on it.
  • Rejection Affection: Mandie continues to pursue Danny, despite the fact that he dislikes her. He slowly lets down his defenses as she undergoes Character Development and ultimately returns her affections.
  • Relationship Upgrade: She and Danny eventually go from awkward friends to a couple.
  • Rogues' Gallery Transplant: She goes from an enemy of Timmy Turner in The Fairly OddParents! to Danny Phantom after being sent to his universe.
  • Royal Blood: She is the princess and heir to the throne of her home planet.
  • Royal Brat: She's from the royal Boudacian family and not a nice person. She does mellow out after hanging out with Danny.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: She tends to be more impulsive and quick to rush into action than her calmer and more careful boyfriend Danny.

    • She also points out to Danny that it's not right for Dash to pick on him and it's foolish not to stand up for himself, even if it means fighting back. She gets into argument with Sam over the subject, with Mandie coming across as the more rational person.
    • Mandie is right that Brutis' fangirls are pathetic for being too blinded by his looks to notice or care how much of a bastard he is, especially since he clearly isn't interested in any of them due to obsessing over Mandie.

  • Willfully Weak: Danny encourages Mandie to be this when dealing with Dash since he doesn't want the Jerk Jock to get seriously hurt regardless of his hatred for the bully. Mandie only agrees because she doesn't want to get on Danny's bad side and makes it clear she doesn't care about Dash's wellbeing.
