Profiles I Like to Serve as Inspiration (for me)

  • Moguro Fukuzou - A Profile from show I haven't watched but still enjoy reading.
  • Soviet Womble - A Profile where even if it doesn't show much of the trope they represent, it still manage to be in-character for the Person
  • Bolt - I really like the interactions with this one and it's short and to the point.
  • Walter White - It has dense text but rich in character.
  • Doramon - Flavor Text illustrating who to demonstrate the trope they are representing is so good!

    Deity Template (Reference, Don't Change Anything.)
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Potential House:
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity. This doesn't always have to be a representation of power, but it can also represent influence in the Pantheon.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Song that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D.
  • Gender: For Pokémon deities only. Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
  • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
  • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies.
  • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals.
  • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes.
  • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
  • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Pokémon.
  • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
  • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or find pitiable.
  • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by, regardless of alignment.
  • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.

  • A nameless driver works a stuntman/mechanic by day but moonlights as a getaway driver for robberies by night. He lives in a Los Angeles apartment alone and has no family or past to speak off. One day, he helps out his neighbor Irene and her son Benicio out of kindness. He eventually develops a friendly bond with Benicio and a mutual attraction for Irene. However, when Irene's husband Standard was released from prison and tries to reconnect with his family, it puts a halt into Irene's and the Driver's budding romance. Still, the Driver remains friendly with the family. All of these came ahead as Standard's criminal past caught up with him, and he was forced to do a day-time robbery by his old boss to pay for his protection money and threatens to hurt his wife and child if he refuses. The Driver offers to help Standard with the heist for the safety of Irene and Benicio. Tragically, Standard was killed in the robbery and the Driver and a cohort managed to escape the scene with the money. After a few violent confrontations, he later found out the robbery was set up to steal about a million dollars that belonged to the East Coast mob. Nino, a pizzeria owner and mobster who masterminded the plan to steal the money from the rival mob, wants the money returned to him and plans to kill all the people who may have connections with the robbery, including Standard, the Driver and Irene, in order to clean his tracks.
    • The Driver tells the truth about his involvement in Standard's death, offers Irene the money, and advises that she and her son leave town for their safety. However, she slaps him and refuses his offer. As the two later went into the elevator with another man with them, the Driver notices his gun, assumed he's a hitman and needed to act fast. The Driver turns to Irene and gave one last kiss to her before he brutally beats the hitman to death, revealing his violent side to her as she leaves. After he learns that his boss and friend Shannon was killed by Nino's partner-in-crime, Bernie Rose, he decides to take revenge on both of them. After drowning Nino in the ocean, The Driver calls Bernie to let him know that his partner is dead. Bernie would propose a meeting for The Driver to give back the money in exchange for Irene and Benicio's safety. The Driver agreed to the meeting, even as he knows his life is still in danger. He makes one last phone call to Irene, telling her he is leaving and that meeting her and Benicio was the best thing that ever happened to him. Bernie and the Driver then arrived at the parking lot, where he hands over the cash. As he did so, Bernie stabs him in the abdomen, and the Driver stabs him in the neck in retaliation. Still wounded, the Driver leaves Bernie for dead next to his open bag of cash as he drives away into the night.
  • After several hours of the Driver driving aimlessly into the night, he eventually parks his car at the side of the road and gradually lose consciousness due to blood loss from his injuries. He woke up at daytime to find that the stab wound on his abdomen was gone, and found himself in a part of town he didn't recognize. He also found a strange letter in his windshield, a cryptic letter saying some nonsense about being a God and telling him of directions where he needed to go. With nothing to lose, he followed the directions to an auto shop just from the outskirts of the one of the main Pantheon Houses. He was surprised to see his old boss Shannon there, alive and well, and the cut in his arm that claimed his life was gone as well. Although, he is just as clueless as the Driver on how he turned up alive or where he currently is. With him coming close to dead, his injuries completely gone and his strange circumstances, the Driver assumes he is in some sort of afterlife and accepts it rather calmly (with his boss coming into a similar conclusion). He and Shannon decided to set up shop in the auto shop they have found (which acts as a temple), and resume as car mechanics again, hoping to lie low and try to maintain a normal life once more.
  • According to the original source, as his story takes place in another version of this world, the Driver didn't have a stable home-life growing up. As a kid, his thieving father used him to break into homes due to his small size. His mother later killed his father and he was sent to foster parents until he moved out. Whatever happened between when he left his foster parents' home and the events of his story is not really explained. Back into our Driver, we don't really know if he has the same past as his original counterpart. Considering his involvement in crime and reluctance to disclose his past, it's safe to assume he didn't have a good home-life either. What we do know is that around 5-6 years ago before the events of his story, the Driver arrived to Shannon's auto shop asking for a job and was hired based on his car-related skills. Shannon, jokingly but in his own words, has been "exploiting" him ever since, employing him as a skilled mechanic and later to assist in arranging the cars the Driver would use for his various assignments.
  • The Driver always had an interest with cars. In the original source, before he moved out of his foster home, he hanged out around the desert racetrack and drive around the cars his mechanic friend had modded to test them out. He had a fondness of driving ever since. As most of his related skills are based around cars, it's safe to assume our Driver has a similar fondness for them too. He also resumed applying for stunt driving jobs in the House of Theatre and Spectacle and their car business resumed supplying and repairing the stunt cars for said House. One would assume that there wasn't a need for stunt drivers due to the Pantheon's resurrection polices. But as not all actors are skilled at driving, are willing to do their own stunts, and that there is still the risk of getting hurt during production (which would slow down production time), stunt drivers like him are still needed in that House. The Driver doesn't have much opinion on this job other than it is additional income for their business, and it's a good way to apply his driving skills legally.
  • Ever since the city of Los Angeles was declared a divine domain, there was an increase in robberies due to being one of the wealthier cities in the US. A would-be criminal not native to the City of Angels may have a harder time planning an escape route. If for whatever reason their usual gateway driver is unavailable, the various deified criminals would need to search for a replacement (especially one who knows the layout of the city so well). Some of them have heard of a very skilled gateway driver from LA and their criminal contacts were able to locate and contact him for a future assignment. When offered to do the job from them, he had agreed to do those heists for pragmatic reasons: because he needed the money to sustain his business.
    • The Driver is very impersonal when he comes to his clients, not wanting to know them personally or why they are doing their respective heists. All he needed to learn is the time and place, and he'll meticulously plan the rest. He'll give the thieves five minutes to do their thing before driving off, no questions asked. The only caveat on all this is that he usually only take that client once and never again (as asking him again would really piss him off). It's unknown why, but it's assumed it's to prevent him from being further implicated in his clients' heist. For these reasons, the thieves would only hire him if they are in desperate need of a driver. But once he's able to do his job, he's able to evade most non-superpowered law enforcement with relative ease.
  • Given their accidental involvement with The Mafia lead to each other's deaths, the Driver and Shannon try to avoid dealing with any mafia related deities. The Driver doesn't even take assignments from them, not trusting if he's going to be alive by the end of it. Various mobsters, like the Corleones and the DiMeo Crime Family, have heard of a gateway driver who have managed to kill two mob members and have been on their guard more than usual, to the point of considering trying to screen potential getaway drivers, should they ever had a need for one. Other crime bosses like The Kingpin and The Penguin don't seem to fear the Driver given that they are capable fighters in their own right, and compared to the superheroes they have to deal with, the Driver seems like a joke compared to them. Still, given that he can still hurt their henchmen and fellow mafia associates, they also try to be cautious should they ever cross paths with him.
  • Claude, a criminal of unknown background, is a frequent customer in Driver's auto shop. They don't talk to each other much, but they were able to form some sort of mutual understanding with each other. It's because of him did the Driver started to encounter the other gods from his world. Through Claude's allies, he learns that they had a lot more in common than they thought: both had relations with a criminal's lover, both were betrayed during a robbery that was meant to kill them, and both are willing to get their hands dirty to seek revenge on those who wronged them.
    • For the most part, he gets along with other criminals from Claude's world. It helps that each of them had experiences with crime and betrayals during their respective stories (with all of them succeeding on getting their revenge). Plus, they were frequent customers of his auto shop due to their frequent handling of various cars. He doesn't trust everyone from their world, though. The Driver has worked with the corrupt millionaire Donald Love, upon Claude's recommendation, once to deliver a mysterious package to him. While Donald Love has not attempted to betray the Driver yet, his previous association with Dimitri Rascalov and Tommy Vercetti (both of whom he distrusted more due to their current mafia affiliations), he's not willing to fully trust him either.
  • The Driver has come to learn of other people who have been betrayed by the Mafia. One of them was Tommy Angelo, a taxi-driver-turned-mafia-member-turned-police-informant after he was betrayed by his mob associates. Given that Tommy is no longer on the side of crime unlike the Driver, they are hesitant fully trust each other. But given their mutual distrust for the Mafia as well as their respect for each other's driving skills, they are not opposed to working with each other should they be unfortunate enough to cross paths with the Mafia again. Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro were also have been in a similar situation as Tommy Angelo, who have also experienced various betrayals by the Mafia. But given the two having resumed their criminal activities in the Pantheon, with Vito possibly being a crime boss himself, the Driver isn't willing to trust them. He had a much easier time befriending Lincoln Clay, who retired from the mafia and became a drifter after he had got his revenge over the crime family he worked for. He also gets along with hitman Jimmy and former CIA agent John Donovan, although he isn't interested in just solely taking out Mafia members unless they had personally crossed him.
  • One day, the Driver received a mysterious package in his temple, which contained a frog mask and an invitation to a sketchy location. The Driver ignored the packages until he suddenly received several calls, saying they are planning to hurt Shannon should they not comply with their demands. Wanting to get to the bottom of this, he did some research and found out about a group known as 50 Blessings, who recruited people into committing murders against the Russian mafia to drum up anti-Russian sentiments. The Driver was under the assumption they have heard of his killings of a few hitmen and mafia members and took an interest in enacting murders on their behalf. He asked his allies and contacts about the group and their underling in order to confront them. Through these, he found and befriended Richter Berg, a masked assassin who formerly worked under them, although he only does his work for his mother's safety. Being forced into committing crimes for the sake of their loved one reminded him of Standard and himself. He also got acquainted with The Masked Maniac, only known as Jacket, a former target for Richter and who also worked under 50 Blessings (although he doesn't know he too was also being manipulated by them). As someone who has had bad experiences with the Russian mob, he pities the Driver due to his encounters with mobsters and his subsequent demise by one of them.
    • Through them, the Driver managed to track down an associate of 50 Blessings. After making the associate sing due to threats of hitting him with The Driver's hammer, they told him they have long abandoned the Masked Killings since their ascension, as the Pantheonic Police were already aware of their modus operandi. The Driver, undeterred, went back to square one and managed to track down the packages to their senders, The Fans, a group of Loony Fans of Jacket. He called them and only asked one of them to meet up with him without bringing any weapons, to which their leader Tony decided to take the offer. Speaking on their behalf, they were interested in recruiting the Driver into their group, seeing as his own jacket and hearing about his feats of violence reminded them of their idol (which is fitting as Jacket is often considered an Expy of the Driver himself). They also assume he shares their love for violence as well (he does not). When he started to ignore their package, they started to threaten to hurt his boss to get his attention. His fellow gang members later found Tony laying in a pool of blood and a shoe-shaped dent in his head, well aware of the Driver's answer to their invitation.
  • In a lot of ways, the Driver and taxi driver Travis Bickle have a lot in common. Both are mentally unwell loners with violent tendencies but can still hold a normal job. Both have wanted to become the "hero", even risking their lives for someone that they haven't known for very long, and violently killing people who become a threat to them. The main difference is that the Driver can be quiet and sociable, is no stranger to crime, and mostly draws blood out of revenge for his loved ones; while Travis is someone with No Social Skills, has a dim view of society in general, and is willing to kill anyone he perceived as "wicked". He has first heard of Travis after hearing his infamous reputation in the Pantheon. Travis first heard of the Driver as he was travelling to LA for a brief while, first seeing him during one of his heists he was driving for. Travis thought about enacting violence on the Driver, even driving to the Driver's temple to stalk him, to which the Driver noticed his glares. Travis then reconsidered attacking him and started seeing him more favorably, after he heard about his situation with the Mafia, their commonalities, and how he protected his lover and her child at the cost of his life. After confronting and chatting with each other, they have agreed to stay out of each other's way, should they avoid a violent confrontation in the future.
  • The NASCAR driver Richard Petty was one of the first car-related clients of their auto shop, and one of the few customers they had that wasn't involved in crime at all. After some small talk with Shannon, he discovered that the Driver was going to participate in a race, but the plans fell through (but didn't tell Petty that it didn't work out because Bernie Rose, who was at first interested in investing a racecar from Shannon and have the Driver drive it, betrayed and killed both of them). Petty offered the Driver to demonstrate his racing skills and when the Driver got going behind the wheel, Petty was really impressed in what he saw. He then offered the Driver if he can participate in official races one day. While Shannon was ecstatic for the offer, the Driver was hesitant on taking it, not wanting the attention drawn on himself if he ever gained fame as a racer. Still, Petty remains a good auto shop client to their business as long as he remains unaware about the Driver's criminal past.
  • Dominic Toretto, a former illegal street racer and fugitive, has heard of the Driver from the grapevine due to the recent criminal activity in the LA area. As a fellow LA resident, Dom took interest in recruiting him in his band of government-sanctioned karmic car-jackers, which lead him to going to the auto shop that he runs. After learning about his recent racing demonstration with Petty, Dom decided to asked the Driver to compete in a friendly street race with him (to which he agreed). Dom won that race, but he was really impressed on the maneuvers the Driver took (although he never mentioned if he ever competed in illegal street racing at any point). Dom also respected the Driver after leaning about how he was willing to help out and protect his neighbor's family, reminding Dom on how dedicated he was in protecting his own crew. After much thinking however, the Driver declined his offer to join him on the account of wanting to lie low (and his crew's missions are not the sort of thing he would do), although they remain allies. The Driver also got acquainted with Dominic's best friend Brian O'Conner, who is currently retired from criminal life. He gained similar respect for him after learning about the Driver from Dom, being someone with a family of his own.
  • It should be noted that the Driver has never being involved in any drug related crimes. That all changed when he met the chemistry-teacher-turned-drug-kingpin, Walter White. Walt first went to the Driver's auto shop to have his Pontiac Aztek be looked at. The Driver and Shannon looked at Walt, curious about his similar looks to Shannon, although they quickly got over it. Their initial interaction with Walt appeared to be friendly at first. Due to his prior connections to the criminal underworld, Walt then recognized the Driver as the skilled getaway driver from LA he's been hearing about. He then offers the Driver to do some deliveries to the City of Angels; some new associates of his have duffle bags with them, and they were to be dropped off somewhere in the city. Thinking it was just an ordinary robbery job, the Driver agreed to do this one favor for him and letting him know of his strict guidelines. Sometime after he did his delivery, he watched some news about an increase of addicts and crimes related to blue crystal meth in the LA area that was unheard off before. The Driver was smart enough to put two and two together, and when Walt tried to meet up with the Driver to possibly do a second run, he snapped at Walt, angry at being deceived yet again. The Driver threaten him to hurt him if he's unwittingly involved in the drug trade again, and that was the end of their brief partnership.
    • Jesse Pinkman also had his car looked at the same auto shop a few weeks after the incident. It startled him when he first saw Shannon, thinking this is another identify Walt has changed into. The Driver saw Jesse's nervous look and clarifies the situation that Shannon was not Walt, correctly assuming he's reacting that way due to meeting Walter White before. The Driver then asked Jesse about the blue meth (and told him about his involvement with Mr. White). Jesse, a bit hesitantly, told about his prior animosities with his former teacher and partner Mr. White, as well as his own past as a meth cook. Jesse wanting to leave the criminal life due to his many misfortunes and wanting to protect his girlfriend and her child, reminded the Driver of both himself and Standard. He befriended Jesse after that, and Jesse learned about the Driver's recent past and how he died protecting his lover and her child, with Jesse noting that he himself failed to save both of his girlfriends and envies the Driver in that regard.
  • The Driver met the widow Sarah Collins as she was a friend of Jesse. As the Driver was a kind-looking guy, they initially formed a friendship and hang out with each other more often. Sarah was even comfortable enough to tell about her past to him and even have him look after her kids when Jesse is away. Over time, the Driver had fallen for Sarah, although he himself wasn't sure if his feelings for the widow was due to her similarities with Irene (being a hard-working single mom who was once married to a criminal) and/or a genuine respect for her. One unfortunate day however, as the Driver and Sarah was on their way to the Driver's car at a parking lot near a bar they went to, they were ambushed by two random thugs with guns (presumably sent by Mr. White after The Driver turned down their partnership). The Driver was able to disarm and quickly stab one of the thugs and then stabbed him repeatedly out of pure rage. Sarah was also able to disarm and shot the second thug dead right in the head twice. When the deed was done, they looked into each other and was at a lost for words, having seen their violent side for the first time. Although they don't really arbor any hard feelings after that since they are only protecting each other, the Driver and Sarah mutually decided to stop seeing each other soon after, both for her and her kids' safety. The Driver did called her after that to tell her that she reminded him of a kind mother he used to know and that he enjoyed her company as much as when he was with her.
  • Based on the Driver's violent outburst, his lack of reaction to blood, and his willingness to kill, it's safe to assume he's already a harden criminal by the time we meet him. As mentioned before, his violence is mostly done out of self-defense or revenge. Although as implied when he gets verbally aggressive at returning clients, he can barely keep his anger in control. He has heard of the legendary hitman John Wick, who retired after marrying his wife and came back after someone killed his dog (which was a gift from his late wife) and murdered the people responsible for it. The Driver mused about it for a moment; whether he was to give up his criminal life should he even had a chance with Irene. Well, it's too late to think about that now. He's not interested in getting into the hitman business either. They haven't met each other yet; but if they had, he wonders if they might get along with each other.
  • That night as he mused about his thoughts and drive around LA by himself, he had a "daydream" (or more accurately, a vision from another world). In it, he survived being stabbed, gave up his life of crime, took a new name, founded a business and lived peacefully with his fiancée. All of it came crashing down however and he was back to his old ways once again to seek revenge on what he lost. His mind then returned to reality, pondering if he could ever escape his past or if it is destined to follow him. He sometimes wonder if his whole experience in the Pantheon was just all in his unconscious mind and he would awake up one day to have his story continue where it left off or be involved in someone else's tale. Only time would tell and for now, he would just rather live in the moment.
"Can I talk to you? I won't keep you long. I have to go somewhere and I don't think I can come back. But I just wanted you to know getting to be around you and Benicio was the best thing that ever happened to me."

    The Host of Trivia Murder Party
In October of 20XX, eight people have hiked in the woods around Trope Pantheon on their way to shoot a documentary film on a mysterious serial killer who had recently ascended. Only one of them had managed to escape with their lives.

The sole survivor provided several pages of notes and some pictures claiming to be from the killer himself, although the identity of the suspect was never revealed. The notes contains details as to what had happen to the film makers that led up to their disappearance, as well as what happened before that.

The following is a transcription of the notes in profile form.

[REDACTED], God of Fair-Play Villainy (The Host or TMP Host, The Trivia Murder Party Killer or TMP Killer)

  • "Wake up. Wake uuup! — Welcome to Trivia Murder Party!" That's what I would have said if I was currently speaking to my victims and not currently writing my eventual memoir. But what's Trivia Murder Party you may ask? Well, it's a fun wholesome trivia game with a murderous twist. Up to 8 players can play by entering a room code and connect to an in-game lobby from a device (like a phone, tablet or computer with an internet connection). You can also play the game by yourself, if you're a weirdo with no friends. Now, imagine this scenario, you just woken up to a long dark hall with no recollection of how you got there and all you have in your hand is a device that transmits answer choices and your soul is in one of these cute little dolls. You're also hearing a guy using a voice changer to make his voice sound really deep and sinister. Well, all I can tell you is that a killer just put you in a trap and to escape, you have to play along.
    • I normally ask a bunch of trivia questions and the answer choices would be displayed on your device. If you answer a question right, you'll earn free money and be safe until the next question. If you answer a question wrong, you'll be sent to The Killing Floor (or The Killing Room if you're playing my second game) where you have to fight for your life as you get to play one of my awesome minigames. Lose any of my minigames and I'll kill you. Refusing to play any of my minigames and I'll also kill you. If you get killed, you'll turned into a ghost (but still get to answer more questions or make other players suffer in my next minigame). If you win a minigame, you'll get to live other round and may earn extra cash. If one of you is still alive when we reach a certain number of questions, you'll all go to the final round and get a chance to escape. You'll have to race each other and advance a few spaces to the exit by selecting or unselecting 2-3 answer choices in the correct category. But since there's only one life force left and you have to be not a ghost to escape, you'll either have to stay first place in the race and not get your life force stolen, or steal first place and gain your body back before you can reach the exit. The Winner (and the first to reach the exit) gets to escape and take home the money as their final score. The Losers (and those who can't advance enough in the race) are caught and consumed by an advancing wall of darkness.
    • So, you want to know my name? Well, tough luck because I'm not going to give that to you. But, and I would also tell this to my previous victims, I'm perfectly fine in telling you something about myself: I grew up in a murder hotel where my family used to own and run the place. They always had a fondest for murder and would kill some of our hotel guests. I didn't want to be apart of that at first (not the whole murder thing, I meant running a hotel). I was more interested in all things trivia and pop culture. After the place closed down, I run away from home to follow my dreams of becoming a famous game show host. When that didn't pan out, I decided to kidnap to people and make them play my own party game show called Trivia Murder Party, a blend of my passions for Trivia and Murder. You should have heard of me by now, I'm all over the news you know. Years later, I got a will from my father that the old family hotel belongs to me now, so I decided to return home and reopened the place. With my family now gone, I decided to continue the family legacy of running a legitimate hotel and luring hotel guests to their deaths on the side, this time by making them do several rounds of trivia questions and minigames.
  • After my last victim blew up my freaking hotel, I became homeless for while. One day when I was reading the newspaper (you know, to find some articles about me), I came across this classified ad looking for a voice-over host for their next trivia show. I was so stoked about getting that job that I went to this sketchy-looking address listed on the ad for the interview. Next thing you know, I found myself surrounded by several shadowy figures, kinda scary even for myself. Then a guy in a suit and top hat appeared to greet me. He introduced himself as Dr. Facilier and he already heard about me from his "friends from the other side" due to my connections with the Darkness. He figured because my victims' souls would get trapped in the darkness when they lose (and me dabbling with voodoo due to the dolls), it would make us ideal partners in collecting souls for him. In exchange for that deal, he's going to help me ascended into a godhood like himself, give me a temple to live in and help in showing me the ropes in the so called "Trope Pantheon".
    • He said that he heard from somewhere that I was chosen as a God, more specifically of being a Fair-Play Villain because although I put my victims in my deadly minigames, they always have a chance to survive as long as they play along and win. Hmm, now that I think about it, even in minigames where it's more likely to kill them and it's pure chance (like my Loser Wheel), my victims can also survive that somehow too. Even thought I'm very annoyed when that happens (and sometimes I wished I should have rigged it if no one dies), I do admit to sticking to my rules most of the time. It's in the sprit of a game show after all, even if it involves murder. Then I told him that if he is who he says he is and since I've watched Princess and The Frog before, how would I know he's not tricking me? Responded by saying he's already in hot water with his "friends from the other side" after they agreed to free him and he needed all the help he can get collecting souls for them to pay his debt. Plus, he respected me for dreaming big and wanting to become a famous game show host. With that, we agreed to the deal, provided I let him know that should he double-cross me, there will be deadly consequences.
    • After I ascended and first moved in to my new temple, I met this guy platinum-blond hair with a black robe named Luxord, who used to has this trope that I now have. I asked him why he decided to move out; something about him turning good and his place looking outdated, I can't really remember. I do feel bad for that guy though, so I made him stay in my temple and moved out when he relocate to somewhere else.
  • At first, I wasn't sure about this whole god thing. Being a god is all great and all but I'm also worried it might attach some unwanted attention onto me and I would be too busy hosting my trivia game. Nowadays, it feels just the old times, just kidnapping and having people play my trivia game. I even renovated my temple to look like an abandoned temple to lure in any near-by tourists or explorers. I've got a nice work-life-murder balance going on. When I go out and around, I try to appear like a normal average joe you see in public, just living in the moment. It helps it seems like I'm beneath notice that not even the police would even think to suspect me when they come and investigate my home and check the crime scene I made.
  • I know there's a lot of Houses in the Pantheon and it can be confusing sometimes. Personally, I like going to the Houses of Knowledge, Media and Connectivity and Gaming if I needed more trivia or minigame ideas. I also like to go to the House of Craft to get supplies for my minigames as well as the Houses of Slaughter or Weapons for obvious reasons. Ironically, one of the Halls I tend to avoid is the Hall of Ghosts. Like, I'm not creeped out by the ghosts of my victims. But, when it comes to the ghosts that live my hotel back when I still run the place, they really creep me out.
  • To be honest, I would never thought I would be on a higher realm where all fictional characters are real. It's almost hard not to geek out but I try to keep my composure whenever I see a character I recognized. I also find that my knowledge of trivia and pop culture is a huge advantage for me, since I likely know who these deities are, what can they do, what I should say to not make them suspicious of me, and which of them is less likely fight back when I subject them to my party game. I'm kinda like The Genie except my knowledge doesn't come from magic. I would like to make him my friend but I know his near omnipotent, "semi-phenomenal, nearly cosmic power" would already make him aware of my true intentions. I'm more like the serial killer version of The Nerd from Robot Chicken. Actually, I remember he has killed a few people before. But, you get what I meant.
  • As a serial killer who hasn't been caught yet, I always make sure to keep it that way by hiding my face and voice from being seen or heard. It makes it hard for me to find allies face to face at first. Luckily, as an avid social media user, I can private message potential allies provided they have a social media in the Pantheon or have other means of online communication. If they needed a phone and video call from me, I can always obscure my face by pointing my camera at my shoes and obscure my voice in my voice changer. That's how I got to befriend The Riddler after we met at a puzzle forum, as we bonded over our mutual interest of trapping people and making them answer our hard questions. We once collaborate on an amazing idea to trapping Batman into my trivia game. He was able to answer most of my questions, survive all my minigames, and escape the final round, which was honestly kind of a let down.
  • Speaking of serial killers that have never been caught, I've met other serial killers (well, not physically met them as most of them also prefer to conceal their identify like I do). Instead, I dictate my letters and have my players type them (as part of one of my minigames) and then sending those letters to their temples or their person. For example, me and Jack the Ripper somehow became pen pals, and write each other letters either about our crimes or our normal lives in our respective time periods. While he notably killed 5 prostitutes (that we know of), he's got the notoriety that I wanted, since he's currently the God of Serial Killers and his crimes are still being talked about centuries later. I think it was a good move for him that we never met. Otherwise, I probably would have trapped him in my game and steal his title for myself.
    • I also wrote letters to Yoshikage Kira because his powers interest me and we have quite a bit in common. I can make my dolls explode, killing my victims and turning them into ghosts. He turns things into bombs when his Stand touches something. I make my victims chop off their fingers and sell them in the black market. He collects woman's hands but prefers to keep them to himself (which I don't judge). Although he prefers people to leave him alone and live a "quiet life" while I wanted all the attention of being a famous host/killer. Kind of an weird friendship if you think about it.
  • One day, I wrote a letter to the original Jigsaw Killer, John Kramer, writing how much I really like his work in making his cool looking death traps. He then wrote back, saying that he's heard of my killings in the news recently and has some feedback about them. While he respects my work and the fact what unlike most killers and even his own apprentices, I actually give my victims a chance to survive in most cases, he wishes that I would rework my trivia game as a learning experience for my victims rather than just a sick game for my own enjoyment. After all, he made those traps in the first place to make his victims test their will to live and make them appreciate life. He's reminded of his former understudy, Mark Hoffman, who strayed from his beliefs and enjoying the suffering of the people he placed in those traps. Well, they learn some trivia don't they? Also, funny he mentioned that because I'm actually in contact with Hoffman. What can I say? His need to blend in as a normal person in public (before he was outed in the Pantheon), his traps where they sometimes pit his victims against each other, his need for revenge for people who crossed him. We're kinda in a similar boat. But since he doesn't prefer to work with most killers and we don't have a similar background to relate to, we're amicable rivals at best. Oh, and before I forget, Hoffman told me that Amanda Young doesn't like me very much. As someone who makes inescapable traps as a form of mercy killing, she doesn't see the point of letting even one person survive my games. Well, every game has got to have a winner somehow.
  • Like Eloise, I remember growing up in a hotel causing all sorts of mischief. But instead mischief, it's murder. I once tried to go to the House of Childhood and Adolescence to befriend the kid because she reminds me of myself. But there's increase of guards in that House due to my recent killings, so that was a no-go. Anyway, I never really expected to run the family murder hotel when I was a kid, but funny how things would turn out. I tried to look for other hotel owners, hoping I can get some tips about running a successful hotel, should I change my mind in setting up a hotel again. I met Dracula once (well, one of the Draculas anyway) and asked for his advice. He apologized and said he only has experience with running a hotel that caterers to monster-kind. I joking asked if by monsters, does that also included actual serial killers too, to which he said in a straight face that any murderous humans are not welcome in his hotel. Shesh, I get it, your first wife was killed by humans, but I was only joking.
  • {Minigame deities, party game deities, mentions that party god's high priest is cookie and he used to shadow for him, Mona (Shovel Knight), Tomomo, The WarioWare Inc. Employees, Mettaton, Dr. Alphys}
  • I tried to pitch a TV adaptation of my game to several game show hosts, who were fine with their contestants getting hurt. They were interested in doing a collaboration with me at first, but we later split due to "Creative Differences". Killian not only wanted to rigged the trivia part to make all the choices wrong but also make my mini-games unwinnable! I mean, I like to see my players get the questions wrong or fail at a minigame, but only due to their own stupidity or bad luck. So, this rubs me the wrong way. Vox wanted to axed the trivia aspects of my game as he thinks the viewers would find it boring (and he didn't like to give away any prize money). Chris, the Total Drama guy, was fine with my game, but only requested to remove the murder-y aspects (not because he cared about his contestants but because his network said they won't allow it). I did managed to make pitch to Professor Genki, who liked my idea and said that he's interested in working with me. He has this idea for a potential spin-off that includes trivia to his "Ethical" trap course. I think adding a course where you get money by shooting people would be a fun idea and I'm starting to warm up to idea of dressing up my victims in animal suits.
  • {Those who oppose The Host, making letters to the haters (those who are against deadly games)}
    • {Other people who oppose him}
  • {People The Host doesn't want to kidnap, like mind readers who can cheat and read his thoughts. Is fine with kidnapping higher deities.} {Kidnapping in general, loving quiplash, made own quiplash on the first game and then actually added quiplash in the second game, annie walkes, Meeting Tarrant } {killing descendance}
  • {His filter can occasional fail. He is 'totally' not other Jackbox game hosts, Bad Liar} {Fellow voice-only people, Howard and Kreese, The Narrator}
    • {he also has an encounter with Stanley. On one loop, [redacted] made stanley play his game until he died. On other loop, Stanley and the Narrator found the killing rooms and stanley decided to wonder around the place. [redacted] stepped in to remove the narrator in his booth}.
  • {giving gifts} {daddy issues, he hates is dad so much what even someone wearing his hat would cause him to target him specifically, breaking his fair-villanyness, he went to thepay for this}
  • {other game conpotents, all players die comeback and can bring back a player if he dies, if there are more than 1 players left, they give lock and key to save time, answering the game 2 or three times in a row with send them to the killing floor, ties breaker}
  • {Aftermath, maybe a new article about what happened?}
