Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@The Raven Hmm, is there a possibility of ascending the narrator of the story himself along with the Raven? Since it's hinted that it may be only his dwindling sanity over his lost love that make it so creepy to begin with.

Edit: Forget it, other people are already volunteering.

Alright.

Since this particular rework suggestion went ignored last page...

Death of the Endless, Goddess of Friendy Grim Reapers

Reasoning: Death is an All-Loving Hero, who appears at the end of every existence which applies to humans, gods, stars, etc. She offers a sympathetic face to remove some of the shock and terror of the moment. She isn't even bothered by the constant deaths and resurrections of the superhero set. She wasn’t always this way.

She needs the rework because most of her texts are fairly short and the profile really hasn’t aged well. Could do with more interactions.

I’m plotting my schemes wherever I go! They’re perfect in every way…

I need a list of deities who possess "engine" ships (i.e. ships that don't need sails to catch the wind), preferably non-military. Or if there are none of that, list the military.

Naturally, most pirates and sailors are off the list, though if any of their crew have means of sail-less sailing or making artificial winds, though. I'd like to know too.

Which of them would be willing to explore the Unterzee? It's in my Sandbox 1 as a potential Dominion.

@Hamana: in regards to Lee and Clementine, I think The Wikia Editor wanted them (plus Alvin) for Choice-and-Consequence System. Maybe that's a better choice.

@M1gami: I'm currently playing SRW:OGs for Ryusei's rework. I might as well take Kyouske too. I'll also take back Tucker unless someone else wants to rework him. I'm kinda outdated on RVB lore after it went sideways in going up against gods.

I'll focus on finishing Dr. Claw first, but for now here's the first draft of The Deadly Sins. Basically, they're a Quirky Miniboss Squad that can randomly show up in any room and attack you, locking you into said room until defeated. They also have "Super" variations that can rarely replace any of them. And, of course, They're heavily implied to be the personification of the sins of Issac himself.

Other notable characteristics include Greed usually spawning in shop areas, Wrath being a Bomberman Expy, Gluttony shooting out his own guts, and Sloth being the only Sin with a proper name (Bob, presumably being the owner of the various "Bob" items).

The Seven Deadly Sins, Gods of Inescapable Ambushes (Pride, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Bob Sloth)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unknown_590.jpeg
The Sins, as listed
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/supersins.png
Their "Super" forms, again as listed
  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: The Miniboss Icon
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portifolio: Inescapable Ambush, Anthropomorphic Personification (Three Guesses of What), Quirky Miniboss Squad, Ambiguously Human
  • Domains: Sins, Bosses, Rooms, Ambushes
  • Superior: Ultra Greed
  • Allies: Father, Azmodan
  • Enemies: Issac, Bomberman (Wrath)
  • Throughout Issac's troubling adventure through his basement, he had faced many grotesque and disgusting creatures scattered around, ready to try and kill the child. One notable group of bosses were the Seven Deadly Sins themselves, who hide in seemingly innocuous rooms and attack Issac when he enters, locking the exits in the process. The only way out is for Issac to defeat them in combat, after which the doors would be unlocked and he could leave. On rare occasions, the Sins could manifest as "Super" variations, making them more tougher and trickier, with Pride and Greed even having "Ultra" forms as well (Ultra Greed and Ultra Pride).
  • One day, the Pantheon experienced a series of incidents where gods would randomly be attacked by strange humanoid creatures upon entering a room, with the doors locking on them as to prevent escape. While the group usually isn't too hard to deal with, the sheer amount of incidents involving them was still quite the problem. Eventually, The Court of the Gods decided to deal with them themselves, locating and capturing the creatures using the one thing that can escape from them, teleportation. Seeing as they somewhat resembled him, they contacted Issac about just who they were, and Issac explained that they were yet another Anthropomorphic Personification of the Seven Deadly Sins. Unfortunately for Issac, thanks to their unique attack methods, they gained the title of Inescapable Ambushes, ascending to the pantheon proper. Nobody quite knows how the Sins got to the realm in the first place, but a few are suspecting that fellow Sin Ultra Greed, who's been in the Pantheon before them, had a hand in it.

Are these good to go?

  • Greater God, Overdeity under a powerful host like Vegeta (Baby), Intermediate God (Dr. Myuu)
  • Symbol: The red lines that can manifest on his hosts (Baby)
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (Dr Myuu), Chaotic Evil (Baby, though he considers himself Chaotic Good with neutral methods)
  • Heralds: General Rilldo (Myuu's Dragon), the Luud Cult and his machine armies
  • Portfolio: Explanations That Raise More Questions Than They Answer, Mechanical Lifeforms
  • Domains: Mutants, Control, Villainy (both), Possession, Mutants, Revenge, Hatred, Control (Baby), Genius, Metal, Machines (Dr Myuu)

  • Enemies: Every Saiyan, especially Goku and Vegeta (and by extension the rest of the Z-Fighters)
  • Opposes: Deities related to the sun (Baby)
  • During the Saiyan-Tuffle War, the Tuffles had an inkling they were doomed. To preserve their genetic code and get revenge against the Saiyans, a project would be made to create a bio-mechanical parasite that could possess people through wounds and even alter them to become stronger. The parasite proceeded to mastermind the Machine Mutants' creation and get revenge against what's left of the Saiyans. Even if he'd become worse than the Saiyans to do it. The living machine Dr Myuu believed he had created Baby as his masterpiece for universal domination, but in reality Baby made Dr Myuu.
  • Applies to them both
    • The duo come from a separate continuity from the current Dragonball Super one, however they did notice a number of similar entities to Baby; the Comme-san and Watagishi parasite have similar abilities to the bio-mechanical being. Some have snarked that their Canon Discontinuity fate was because the explanation of Baby making Dr Myuu makes no sense; he was still developing as a bio-fetus. Some believe that the Tuffles made both and Dr Myuu would ensure the parasite's creation. One thing's for sure; the two do not like working together given Baby disposed of Dr Myuu. However it's in their best interest to work together and ensure their goals come together.
    • Initially only Baby had ascended, and then re-ascended later on(long story). However rather than being deterred by the stigma of the Voodoo Shark, Dr Myuu embraced it as a justification to join and watch over his creation. Despite being killed by him, he does have some fondness as he is "his" masterpiece. Strings were pulled for this to happen, and it was eventually revealed the mastermind behind this was Gorilla Grodd. He felt Baby's abilities to possess people and Dr Myuu's genius would aid him in "solving the human question" and played on their rage at their precursors' race being destroyed by savages. While they were indebted to the Killer Gorilla and Grodd considers Saiyans not much better than humans in his eyes, he is still a simian and they have difficulty working with that. Grodd feels they're letting their racism blind them from the bigger picture.
Grodd: "The Saiyans are monkeys, not gorillas or apes like myself; they have tails after all.
    • The two of them were able to make a more agreeable alliance with the rogue Galvanic Mechamorph; in his huge yet fragile ego, Malware found himself relating to Baby's plight against the Saiyans and ability to spread and infect other beings. Baby can't seem to do so with fully mechanical life, so the two of them working together helps a lot. Dr Myuu was able to make some headway working with Malware as his genius could help improve Malware's capabilities and aid in their mutual domination schemes. Within their own universe they were able a proper alliance with Cooler. Cooler was almost killed by being thrown into the sun like how Baby was completely killed, and both have a score to settle with Goku and Vegeta. Dr Myuu offered his services to improve his Meta-Cooler army with Machine Mutant technology, and the oldest son of Cold was all for it so long as it aids his empire and proving he's better than Frieza.
    • Baby hates his nickname, and since no-one knows his real namenote  prefers to go by "Tuffle", "King Tuffle" or just "Neo Machine Mutant". Mentioning the song "Baby" is a Berserk Button for him. Dr Myuu meanwhile is perfectly fine being called Dr Myuu, just as long as people don't mistake him for the Mythical Pokemon. He has cited some interested in his namesakenote  and would love to experiment on both the New Species Pokemon and its Modified Clone for his own takeover schemes. Naturally they both oppose this, but Dr Myuu thinks he and his Machine Mutants have the upper hand as they should count as Steel type, which resists Psychic types. Key word being "think".
  • Applies to Baby
    • Initially held the role of Puppeteer Parasite, then Revenge Before Reason before fading into obscurity. Though bitter about being kicked out, he is not so petty as to resent the Headcrabs or Ren Hakuryuu over this. He spends a lot of time in the House of Vengeance plotting how to get back at the Saiyans despite being as bloodthirsty and power-hungry as them and the culprits being long dead.
    • He shares hypocrisy, deep hatred for the Saiyans and clouded good intentions with Zamasu, being close to his Goku Black aspect thanks to the Grand Theft Me element. So far, he is one of Zamasu's few genuine allies. He works well with Shinobu Sensui too; both want to get back at races they see as deeply evil. The alliance with Zamasu involves an interaction with a Goku Black who killed a version of Trunks, and went on to another timeline where he helped Baby kill Goku. After that, however, both Baby and Black had to fight Broly, who due to the high Zenkai boost during his fight against Gohan and Goten, managed to achieve a Super Saiyan 4 transformation. Baby and Black decided to fuse into a distorted version of Vegito and killed Broly once and for all. This also awakened the Beerus from that timeline, but time will tell what happened after that day...
    • Alters his hosts to be more like Tuffles, and isn't limited to just one person. All he needs is a scrape, and at his height possessed everyone on Earth. The ability to exploit even small wounds makes him a threat to the House of Health and Diseases, which led to his banishment. His assimilation prowess also led to him catching the attention to the Thing, however it regards Baby as a rival more than anything; given he can make his host bodies stronger, definitely a major threat. The two attempted to infect each other, but this failed as they found each other too similar to infect.
    • While it's a physical instead of spiritual possession, he has decided not to risk possessing Marona. He knows what she does to people to try and hijack her. He will however try to hijack Garfield Logan, as he considers his ability to transform into different animals combined with his own abilities extremely useful. Same with Ben Tennyson and his alien transformations, but there's a question of how it might work given Zs'skayr couldn't hijack his alien forms. There was also the time he managed to find a lone VUX Intruder and possessed the VUX captain piloting it, but it didn't take long for the possessed VUX to find a mirror. The VUX was so disgusted at their new appearance that they suddenly fought back against their possession and took out a ray gun, [[Driven to Suicide in order to shoot themselves to death, killing that VUX and Baby in the process, with the ship self-destructing.
    • Holds disdain for solar deities as the only way he was eventually put down for good was by being thrown into the Sun. As he is usually able to regenerate from almost nothing, it's believed that extreme temperature and force could replicate this...or at least seriously wound him. Ellen Ripley certainly believes in being thorough. Baby doesn't consider her a threat, but he did consider her mortal arch-nemesis the Xenomorphs as potential hosts. Ultimately he's decided against it as its refusal to obey anyone and incredibly acidic blood might make it incompatible.
    • He was interested by the superficial similarities he shares with Agent Smith; both of them have assimilated populations en masse, though Smith required the virtual nature of the Matrix to do it. However they differ in motives; Baby believes he's restoring the Tuffles and getting revenge on the Saiyans, while Smith is a Straw Nihilist wanting to tear the Matrix and the Real World apart out of resentment for everyone and everything. Smith isn't sure what might happen if someone he possesses in the Matrix is infected by Baby in the real world and how the two may mix, but he has his own goals. He was quick to point out despite claiming he's doing the right thing, Baby doesn't really show it and has failed to truly resurrect the Tuffles. This actually led Baby to realize he needed some better methods if he's truly to revive the Tuffles. His new goal is to try and infect the Life Entity and turn it into his host; if he succeeds he can not only truly revive the Tuffle race but potentially infect the entire DC universe.
    • Dr Myuu muses on what might happen if Baby managed to infect certain characters. The Z Fighters hope that this never happens. Baby is hesitant for most because it might backfire. In hindsight Baby wishes he took more advantage of the time he spent infecting the Android twins as they have unlimited stamina.
  • Applies to Dr Myuu
    • Dr Myuu isn't passionate about revenge against the Saiyans like Baby, though he certainly doesn't like them. He simply wants to take over the universe through machine mutants like himself. As such, he feels right at home with the GUAM, though as he's not that ideological it's more a matter of convenience due to his skill at creating machines. He was fascinated at Sigma's skill in recruiting and converting machines to his cause, along with his virus-based nature spreading his will. The Maverick eventually decided to recruit him as one of the GUAM's mechanics; a decision most think was done to distract him from getting too many ideas on who should run the GUAM.
    • Sigma's concern about Dr Myuu's scheming is well-founded; after he broke out of Hell with Dr Gero and worked to turn Android 17 into Super Android 17, he broke their alliance and got 17 to kill Dr Gero again so he would have sole control of the project. 17 soon gave him the same treatment; the "reunion" with Android 20 wasn't pleasant. Having somewhat learned his lesson Dr Myuu has tried to conceal any ambitions about trying to take over the GUAM, and to some extent has accepted that's beyond his capabilities. However he still wants to rise top and has been aiding arch-traitor Starscream in his schemes.
    • The only reasons why he didn't break out of Hell again are because Piccolo is there to actually keep some order there, and he needed to work with Dr Gero to do so the first time. One of the reasons why Baby tolerates him is that when Dr Gero got his revenge and offed him in the pantheon, he ended up in the South Park Hell, where he exploited that Satan's ineffective-ness and took over Hell, pressuring them tokick him out. He then informed Baby that he's here to stay and he better not kill him again or he's going to bring some friends. In Satan's defense he was absent at the time, having died and gone to Heaven.
    • Would absolutely love to take the Star Dream for himself to empower his creations and allow his Machine Mutants to dominate the cosmos. Dr Myuu also wants to take control of D-Reaper for its mass-assmilative and consumptive capacities. Most think this is wishful thinking at best, and in the case of the D-Reaper even Dr Myuu admits it probably is. Its omnicidal desire to eliminate all chaos, aka life is an upset for the doctor as he thinks its power should be used to make people obey, not wipe them out.

  • Among the ten fighters chosen by Champa for Universe 6 in the Tournament of Power were three Saiyans from the Planet Sadala. Unlike in Universe 7, these Saiyans' original homeworld did not get destroyed, and rather than a galactic force of conquest, their warrior instinct would instead be channeled into acting as a sword of protection throughout the universe. The three who were chosen include Caulifla, a rebellious punk gang boss whose brother was once a captain in the Sadala Defense Force; Kale, the right-hand protégé and "sister" of Caulifla; and Cabba, the ace of the SDF Elite who was taught by Caulifla's brother.
  • Applies to the lot
    • Initially the group were enemies with Universe 7, however, this was only because one universe alone would walk away surviving the Tournament of Power. Now that the tournament is over, there are no hard feelings... well, except for Frieza. Each of them is friendly toward one of the Universe 7 Saiyans that was present at the Tournament.
      • Kale got along with Gohan since she noticed a lot of herself in him. Both suffered from self-confidence issues, both had enormous power despite seeing themselves as weak and both got into a rage when utilizing this power. Since meeting again in the Pantheon, Gohan has encouraged her growth, though taking on a much less direct role in this than Caulifla.
      • Caulifla related much more to Goku, as they are both non-galactic-affiliated Saiyans who are very direct to the point of rudeness due to lacking social grace, and whose enjoyment of taking on stronger challenges stands out from even most other Saiyans in that they get even more pumped up when outmatched rather than lose their nerve. Naturally, Goku and Caulifla took on an unofficial Master-Student relationship while they were fighting each other in the anime version of the tournament. After fusing into Kefla and still losing to Goku via Ultra Instinct, she and Kale are eagerly training for a rematch against him in the future.
      • Cabba, meanwhile, was the first U6 Saiyan that his Universe 7 counterparts would meet, taking part in Beerus and Champa's Tournament of Destroyers. He would gravitate towards Prince Vegeta. Seeing how upset he was at learning the Universe 7 Saiyans' space pirating history and the fact that he couldn't even turn into a Super Saiyan, Vegeta triggered Cabba's first transformation by pretending to revert to his old evil self and then taught the boy from Sadala the value of Saiyan strength and pride.
    • Thanks to the case of Vegeta, the three of them are actually part of a team that was initially called the Honorary Forces of Sadala, coined by the U7 Prince himself initially to honor non-Saiyans who exemplify traits that would belong to a reborn positive Saiyan race. Cabba was brought on as Vegeta's Herald so the two of them could be the only actual Saiyans on the team; however, shortly after Kale ascended, a challenge from Vegeta's still-amoral contemporaries required they enlist her, and she bargained for Caulifla to have a seat reserved as well. While seeking to get Caulifla entered, Bulma and Touta Konoe noted that the three warriors from Universe 6 had fast-learned skills and powers that it took their Universe 7 counterparts no end of suffering and long hours of training to master. Cabba had figured out how to dial the sensation in the back that triggers the Super Saiyan transformation, successfully teaching Caulifla how to do it without needing to be angered despite how completely new it was to them. Caulifla showed incredible "learn as you go" in her fight with Goku to the point she went from a base-level Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan 2 mid-fight and only kept improving beyond that. Kale, meanwhile, went from being completely unable to control her Super Saiyan power and going berserk all over the field to mastering that power and learning to double-team foes in perfect sync with Caulifla, and Cabba too transformed to Super Saiyan 2 in defense of his comrades, all within the period they lasted in the Tournament. This gained the trio joint entry as the holders of the Instant Expert title, allowing Caulifla to finally be brought in and her and Cabba both to be counted as deities.
      • With the three of them and Vegeta rendering the Saiyan-to-non-Saiyan count nearly even at 4:5, the team was officially renamed The Super Warriors' Guild. As "Super Warriors" is a title often but not exclusively used to refer to Saiyans, it fits for a team combining virtuous Saiyans with similar-minded ambassadors who mostly come from Earth.
    • As Kale ascended first on her own, some of her self-confidence issues briefly re-appeared due to being in the presence of so many powerful figures in the Trope Pantheon; however Superman managed to comfort her by reminding Kale You Are Better Than You Think You Are. She's glad someone like Superman exists in the Pantheon, for those who suffer insecurity like she did. Not only did Cabba and Caulifla wholly back up Kale's gratitude for Superman once they were able to join her, they each look up to him for their own reasons. Cabba sees Superman as the type of hero he strives to be with the Sadala Defense Force, while Caulifla wants to be as strong as he is so no one can mess with her friends.
    • The Saiyans of Sadala have a distinct problem with the Saiyan Army remnants from Universe 7, namely because of their evil marauding ways. Caulifla and Kale's gang stole from those that could do without and did it so they and others struggling around them could survive, while Cabba is part of a heroic defense force, the exact opposite of the Saiyan Army that was part of the Frieza Force. However most are becoming less evil, or at least more agreeable due to having a greater perspective of what their heroic counterparts achieved, and a shared enmity for Frieza. They noticed that their dynamic could be compared to the Mirror Universe concept, which has led them to butt heads with the Crime Syndicate who have noticed and want to take Universe 6 for themselves.
    • It goes without saying that Zamasu is their enemy, but Frost is more complicated. Despite the disgrace of his true nature being revealed he was willing to team up in the Tournament of Power and didn't show any signs of betraying them. He will team up for them when it comes to defeating shared enemies, but that's about it. That is the anime incarnation of Frost, however. The manga incarnation is a better person, if very underhanded and when this personality shines through their dynamic goes from Enemy Mine to Teeth-Clenched Teamwork.
  • Applies to Caulifla and Kale
    • Wonder Woman was interested in a female Saiyan, and wanted to help train Kale to be stronger and master her power. While she would rather train with Caulifla, she was OK seeing what the Amazonians could do. When Caulifla ascended Diana suggested one of her unascended friends, Artemisnote , can get a permit to work with her so they and the Saiyan girls can train as two sparring teams.
    • Their close interactions have everyone thinking they're a couple. Haruka and Yuu certainly think so, but it's yet to be confirmed.
  • Exclusive to Cabba
    • Cabba on the surface holds a similar role to Nappa, as they are both Saiyan Elites with a dynamic with Vegeta, and very similar naming themes. However Nappa was The Brute working for Vegeta at his worst and suffered a You Have Failed Me, while Cabba is an honorable fighter who Vegeta at his best sees as his pupil. While Nappa would've once scoffed at his softer nature and be frustrated by Vegeta's interest in him, his time in the pantheon and influence by his "film producer" personality has drifted him into more neutral-aligned territory. Cabba dislikes his villainy but respects his dedication and his image of Vegeta was somewhat hurt learning what he did to Nappa. Nappa doesn't get why he's "such a softie" and is kind of jealous of the relationship he has with Vegeta, but respects his power.
    • Due to his experience with Frost' duplicitynote , Cabba is working to clean up nefarious space pirates who have been causing trouble in the pantheon. This includes a surprising team-up with Rayman, due to his history with one Admiral Razorbeard. Cabba also made a team-up with both the Green Lantern Corps and Team Lightyear, due to being space police and superheroes.
    • The "distant mentor" relationship between All-Might and Deku reminds him of his dynamic with Vegeta. In addition to wanting to prove himself, Cabba is a hero through and through and that's something the two respect from the Saiyan. The fact he was able to prove himself to his mentor leads him and Rey to get along. Cabba also has respect for Rango due to living up to his boast.
    • Of his other Guild mates, Cabba will most often be seen alongside Touta Konoe and Ippo Makunouchi. Ippo's drive to get stronger in spite of his meek demeanor is something Cabba can relate to, and he often tries to encourage Ippo to strive to become the strongest non-powered human in the Pantheon, so he can challenge for Mr. Satan's World Martial Arts Championship while still reigning as the Japanese Boxing Champion. As for Touta, the two often spar together to improve their own powers and skills.
  • Exclusive to Caulifla
    • Much like Daigo Kazama, Caulifla is a punk and delinquent. While she is fundamentally decent and very capable of being nice, she will sometimes exhibit Jerkass tendencies when annoyed. This comes as a surprise to those who don't know about her characterization in the manga version of her story, to which she has this retort.
Caulifla: I lead a gang of bandits. It should be obvious I'm not all kittens and rainbows. Jeez.
    • Speaking of the manga, aside from the reveal that they are Robin Hood-style bandits, it portrays her gang as an all-female band of street urchins who she personally took in. This seems to contrast how she was first seen in the anime flanked by a sea of punk-clothed male enforcers, however some have figured that if entertainment clubs can operate on a structure consisting of female workers and male bodyguards, so can a gang of Saiyan punk thieves.
    • One of such people who figured this out would be Greed. Being benevolent gang bosses who the manga reveals rescued their subordinates from harsh conditions, she made fast friends with the homunculus. While a bit disappointed that he's not that strong since he doesn't come from a particularly powerful universe, she does find his Ultimate Shield defense fascinating. Caulifla is also chummy with Tatsumi Oga, as he's heroic yet still a delinquent.
  • Exclusive to Kale
    • She comes off as meek, introverted and suffers from an inferiority complex. When sufficiently enraged, however, she bulks up in power and size into the Super Saiyan Berserk form. Initially a berserker, during the tournament she learned to retain her mind and actually control that power through her bond with Caulifla.
    • Shares a lot in common with Broly, practically being a Distaff Counterpart. Both have meek base forms and bulk up to green-haired berserkers. Unlike Broly, though, Kale isn't evil, and learned to control her power rather than letting it drive her mad. She opposes him because he's her Evil Counterpart, however, Broly shows fondness towards his Universe 6 equivalent and is quick to defend her. It's joked that she's U6 Broly and he has feelings for her, or maybe he just sees himself as a protective big brother. And like Broly, there are comparisons to the Hulk. The Banner side she is more fond of. After the canon-timeline version of Broly finally appeared, the two got along far easier than the Legendary one. She feels bad about how Broly:BR has been abused and manipulated by his father, though she hopes his new friends as well as Goku (or Kakarot as he calls him) can help him gain a better sense of normalcy and control.
    • Gets jealous when Caulifla shows a lot of fondness towards other people, which once resulted in her Berserk state trying to kill said people. Having learned to control her power, she's developed a dislike of yanderes since it reminds her of her own failings. This has only further fueled the belief that she is in love with Caulifla. Out of those on her team, she gets along best with Superman's Earth-2 cousin Power Girl, and doesn't like Tatsumaki very much; the Tornado's dismissive attitude reminds her of how she was afraid Caulifla would treat her.

The SearchersMembers , Divine Protectors of Mons (Courageous Seven; Tiger: Rygar, Tornado of Death; Hare: Ham)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/monsterranchertvtp.jpg
Clockwise from upper left: Holly, Tiger, Golem, Genki, Suezo, Mochi, Hare
  • Lesser Gods (the monsters), Demideities (the humans)
  • Symbol: A Disc Stone
  • Theme Song: "Kaze ga Soyogu Basho"
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Tiger and Hare used to be True Neutral)
  • Portfolio: True Companions
  • Domains: Mons, Parallel Worlds, Heroism, Adventure, Friendship
  • Allies: Many Pokémon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! deities, The Bladebreakers, Nate Adams, Rei, Musashi and Ultraman Cosmos, Kirito and Asuna, Seven Samurai
  • Enemies: Fatalis, Nobuyuki Sugou, Death Gun, Quinella
  • Complicated Relations: Akihiko Kayaba
  • After winning a tournament, Monster Rancher fan Genki Sakura was rewarded with a beta version of "Monster 200X". The game played normally at first, but he shortly found himself summoned inside it, where he met Holly, a girl slightly older than him, and her companion Suezo. The two were the only survivors of a village razed by the evil Moo, who was turning all the monsters in the world into his minions and killing those who stood against him. Holly and Suezo were on a quest to find the Phoenix to defeat him and his army and Genki decided to join them. Soon they awakened a cute penguin-like monster called Mochi and found other companions in the pacifistic Golem, the proud Tiger of the Wind and cunning Hare. They became known as the Searchers because of their quest to find the Phoenix. In the end they discovered that Suezo, Mochi, Golem, Tiger and Hare harbored the Phoenix's soul inside them and so the five sacrificed themselves to form the legendary bird and defeat Moo, immediately after which Genki was thrown back into his world.
    • Having not even been allowed to say goodbye, Genki refused to accept his adventure's abrupt end. There wasn't much he could do about it until he found a Monster Rancher game he'd never seen before and what do you know, this one also transported Genki into the game world. He reunited with Holly and they set out to revive all their monster friends, and also save Holly's father, who had been used as the host for Moo's soul before. The gang competed in a tournament to obtain mystery Disc Stones that could possibly contain what they were looking for, while fighting against Durahan, a remnant of Moo's army. Everything turned out for the best as they managed to save Holly's father, revived every monster that was Moo's pawn, started rebuilding Holly's village, and Genki became able to travel between the two worlds as much as he wanted.
  • With peace restored to Pangaea (that's the world's name), the Searchers were finally allowed to settle down. Then one day, Genki and Mochi were playing some ways away from Holly's village when they found a mysterious Disc Stone that was all white and didn't have the usual monster figure on it. The Searchers had a meeting to decide what to do with it and they agreed they should see what it was about. They walked to the nearest shrine to unseal the Disc Stone and upon doing so, found themselves sucked into a vortex. Shortly they landed in a place that they thought somewhat resembled their world but at the same time not. Genki, having gone through this before, suggested that they explore the new place and see if they can make new friends while they're at it. Some time into it they met Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu; Ash and Genki were both fascinated with the monsters they had never seen before and quickly hit it off. At length Genki explained their situation to Ash, who decided to take them to the Main House. There, the Searchers were surprised to hear the explanation about the Pantheon and that the group was under consideration for deification. After being assured that they could go back to their world whenever they pleased, the Searchers accepted being deified.
  • One of the reasons they decided to have a presence in the Pantheon was because they heard of some Baddies in the same vein as Moo that could pose a threat to their world. Yeah, they tend to refer to villains as Baddies, which is very cringeworthy to most of the rest of the Pantheon, although at least Genki, Mochi and Golem get a pass for saying it. Anyway, the Elder Dragon Fatalis is probably the one they keep a watch on most, as not only is it a seemingly naturally malevolent monster much like Moo, it has also caused something called the Black Blight, which turns monsters who otherwise live happily with humans against them. As Pangaea is a world where humans and monsters are totally integrated with one another, the Black Blight reaching it could spell dire consequences, something the Searchers are determined to avert.
  • Being a huge fan of a mon game franchise, Genki was excited to learn about all the similar creatures present in the Pantheon and how they compared to his favorites. The rest of the gang was pretty interested as well to meet creatures that are like themselves yet different. While Genki became very good friends with Ash because of their similar personalities, Genki saw more parallels in the Digidestined's adventures to his own, since many of them also got transported into a different world. The Digidestined were rather more grim and less enthusiastic about it than Genki, though, not that they didn't have their share of happy times and they did come to see their Digimon as best friends and care for the Digital World. Among the Digidestined, the Searchers are probably closest to Takuto and Shiki, as their intensive Digimon training is most similar to how things work in Pangaea.
    • Genki's gregarious personality ensures that the Searchers have at least some connection with most other mon-wielders in the Pantheon, such as Nate Adams, whose yo-kai who dwell hidden in the human world are a source of curiosity to Mochi and the others. The Ultramen Rei, Musashi and Cosmos count the Searchers as their allies, much to Genki's fanboying and admiration for how they can control kaiju. Even more tangentially-related deities like the Duel Monsters duelists or the Bladebreakers are also included in the Searchers' list of friendships, as are demon-wielders Kazuya and Hibiki, even though the Searchers were rather shocked at the brutality of their particular "mons".
  • Kirito and Asuna are pretty impressed that a kid like Genki fearlessly faced so much danger, fought monsters with his bare hands and and came out psychologically unscathed. Genki was understandably freaked out to learn about Kirito and Asuna getting trapped in a game under threat of getting their brains fried if they lost, plus dealing with various abusive and evil humans who used game worlds to carry out their monstrous actions; a lot of those are ascended and the Searchers are determined never to let them use Pangaea for their ends. Sugou is especially offensive to Suezo, who may be a sex maniac but would never ever go as far as what Sugou tried doing to Asuna; knowing that Sugou remains perverse in the Pantheon, Suezo can't help but worry for Holly. Tiger takes special issue with Death Gun, seeing as how two of them are brothers, with the lousy older one drawing the younger into his activities. Quinella's megalomania likens her to Moo, so she is equally detestable to all the Searchers. They don't trust game master Kayaba much either given he trapped thousands of people in a deadly game against their will, although Kayaba doesn't antagonize them at all and shows interest in them and their game world where the stakes are real.
    • On a lighter note, Mochi's cuteness has made him pretty popular with all of Kirito's female friends; their fondness also extends to Tiger, Hare and Golem (in decreasing order), and definitely does not extend to Suezo, much to his dismay and jealousy of his teammates, as he was hoping Kirito, being taken by Asuna, could spare one or two of his lady acquaintances (you can see why they don't like him much). Mochi, having the most childish disposition among the Searchers, has also became a regular playmate for Kirito and Asuna's "daughter" Yui.
  • More than being an unusually malicious monster, Moo was actually created by scientists long ago, when Pangaea was engulfed in war. Moo was engineered to be the ultimate weapon of mass destruction that would win the war, but after realizing how powerful he was, he decided to strike out on his own and create his own army. This led to the creation of the Phoenix to counter Moo, which proved to be only a temporary solution until the Searchers destroyed Moo for good centuries later. This all being the consequence of war, the Searchers tend to be on the pacifist side of things and not get along too well with the various deified warhawks, especially those with a predilection for nukes and other such weapons. That doesn't mean they'll back down in a fight, but they worry lest the neverending war between the Pantheon's factions leads to another Moo and near-total annihilation.
  • They have forged an unusual yet rather strong bond with the similarly-numbered Seven Samurai. This probably comes from how these ragtag teams were thrown together at short notice to fight a much larger enemy and put an end to the injustices they put defenseless people through. They even lost most members of their team in the climactic battle, though at least the Seachers had ways to revive their fallen ones, while among the Seven Samurai, the deaths were final and a reunion wasn't possible until they ascended. At any rate, both heroic groups are more than willing to help each other root out evil in the Pantheon and Kambei thinks the variety of skills that the monsters bring to the table would be very interesting to strategize with. In terms of individual relations, Kambei seems to view Holly as the leader of the group on account of her maturity, so she is the one he talks the most with; Holly views him as a reassuring grandfatherly figure. The groups' best warriors, Kyuzo and Tiger, can often be seen discussing combat strategy. Heihachi, Gorobei and Kikuchiyo all enjoy the company of the monsters and all together they make things pretty lively; Heihachi gets along particularly with Suezo and Hare, seeing as how they all bring humor into the proceedings and take a pragmatic approach to battle.
  • One can guess that Holly experienced a lot of emotional turmoil upon learning that Moo was her father, which is somewhat misleading as it was more that her father was possessed by Moo until he found his true body, but Moo certainly tried to take advantage of the hold this gave him on Holly. All this caused Holly a lot of pain, so Luke Skywalker has a lot of sympathy for her, as he's well-aware of what it's like to find out one's father is evil. Fortunately, both Holly and Luke managed to bring their parents back to the side of good, with Holly feeling sorry that for Luke, that came at the cost of his father's death, meaning they could never truly spend time as family in life. At least, Luke has a group of good, if colorful, friends for comfort, much like Holly has in the rest of the Searchers.
  • For a rock giant, Golem's heart is very soft. Out of the group he is the one who hates fighting most, which doesn't mean he won't protect his friends under any circumstances. But he would much rather smell flowers and hear birds singing, which has led to other deities such as the Iron Giant and the BFG to welcome him into their "ranks" of nice giants. The Iron Giant definitely sympathizes with his hatred of war, as he himself does not like being used as a weapon even though he was created for that. Golem is somewhat simple-minded, but he understands the Iron Giant's feelings very well. Additionally, while lying in a flowered meadow, he met the bull Ferdinand, which while not quite the size of the other giants, is still considered one of them, and shares Golem's love for flowers. He is thus quite happy to show Golem other beautiful places with flowers, which Golem highly appreciates.
    • Later in the journeys, Golem decided he'd become a chef when things settled down. He's trying to reach that goal at the moment, spending a lot of time at the House of Food learning. Since he eats rocks, he often makes the mistake of making food out of that that he's supposed to serve to others, earning him no end of scoldings from Gordon Ramsey, a man who truly frightens the gentle Golem. Fortunately, Kirby can eat his rocky dishes, which is some comfort to Golem. Sometimes he does remember that others do not eat like he does and he comes out with some truly amazing pizzas, which have garnered a lot of popularity.

The many types of Starmen (Art by Doctor-G)
  • Intermediate Deities as a whole. Individually range from Lesser Deities to Intermediate Deities.
  • Symbol: Their Chest Insignias
  • Theme Songs: Battle Against a Machine, Otherworldly Foe
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Ambiguous Robots, Psychic Powers, Mascot Mook
  • Domains: Robots, Aliens, Organics, Mystery, Evil, Psychic Powers
  • Heralds: The rest of Giygas’ army
  • Superior: Giygas
  • Allies: Porky Minch, Junko, Lavos, The Grand United Alliance of Destruction, Giygas’ allies
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The Daleks
  • Enemies: The Chosen Four, Lucas, The Silencerz, Galeem and Dharkon, Sans and Papyrus, Future Trunks, Madoka Kaname, The Sailor Senshi, Homura Akemi
  • Odd Relationship: The Smash Fighters
  • Confuses: The Grand United Alliance of Machines
  • Servants of the evil Giygas, this alien race is capable of PSI powers and are his elite troops, with other members composing of UFOs, Octobots, Mooks (not like a minion variety), Barbots, R7038, Atomic Power Robots, etc. This race of aliens is currently debated whether they are robots or organic. The former says that their robotic speech suggests this. On the other hand, the Rust Promoter has no effect on them and them being capable of taking Sudden Guts Pills as well as having a member of their ranks called the Ghost of Starman, makes them an enigmatic race. These two cases both have convincing evidence.
  • Arrived to the Pantheon thanks to the aid of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. They made themselves known by launching a full-scale invasion including not only themselves, but also their heralds, which happen to be the rest of Giygas’ army. Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, who happened to remember that there was previously only one Starman in the Pantheon, proceeded to thwart the invasion with some help from other deities, but thanks to Nekron, it’s unlikely that they will be going away for a while.
  • As they don’t really have a temple, the Starmen are really hard to keep track of. Sometimes they take over the temples of others to aid Giygas and even recreated Stonehenge Base in the Pantheon at one point. Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo put a stop to this, but still, it’s impressive that they can accomplish these things considering the amount of beings in the Pantheon that happen to be far stronger then they are.
  • The Grand United Alliance of Machines have been having trouble figuring out just what exactly these aliens are. Like the rest of the Pantheon, they actually cannot tell if they are robotic or organic. Much to their frustration, the Starmen aren’t telling. Porky has no clue what they are and obviously they aren’t getting an answer from Giygas, the only being other than the Starmen that might know the answer.
  • They have been working with Junko as of late to restore Giygas’ sanity once they learned that she wanted to purify him into a state similar to her own. They have earned enemies in some of the Touhou Project deities because of this.

A slight update on the profile so far.

I'm not sure if Tahei and Matashichi would actually tolerate C-3PO and R2-D2 given the bickering attitude shared between the two duos. Probably unlikely, but what do you think?

General Rokurōta Makabe, Princess Yuki, Tahei and Matashichi, Deified Representatives of MacGuffin Escort Missions

  • In feudal Japan, two greedy peasants, Tahei and Matashichi, were returning home from a failed attempt to profit from a war between neighboring clans. En route, they cross paths with the remnants of the defeated Akizuki tribe that notably consists of General Rokurōta Makabe and Princess Yuki, who needed to escape into allied territory with their large supply of gold to rebuild their shattered clan (although the two peasants were unaware of their status when they first encounter them). To do this the Peasants are tricked into helping them, with the promise that they will receive a large share of the gold when the destination is reached. Along the way, the General's prowess is put to the test as he must guide the four, and later five with the inclusion of a freed slave, through close encounters with the pursuing enemy, and out of difficult situations the bumbling peasants manage to get them into. In the end, the two peasants were rewarded with one piece of ryō while the rest of the gold would be used for Yuki’s territory.
  • A while after those events occurred, Tahei and Matashichi were still wandering down the road, though still with the piece of gold, when they came across a ronin named Sanjuro, who was walkin the opposite path. The two peasants were initially confused, thinking that the ronin was Rokurōta, asking why he is here for them. The ronin doesn’t care for their questions, dragging them with him. When they reached their destination, which is the Pantheon’s Main House, they ended up seeing Rokurōta and Yuki, who were also brought into the House. It turns out that they were brought because of their escort mission back in their world.
  • (other samurai)
  • (Interactions with Princess Mononoke deities)
  • Given that their film ended up serving as one of the inspirations for a certain story from a galaxy far, far away, it would be a matter of time before the four would meet up with several deities from the Star Wars universe. In particular, Yuki seems to get along well with Leia Organa given their Rebellious Princess attitude as well as both of them having their respective home territories destroyed. Meanwhile, the two peasants were surprised with a few similarities between them and C-3PO and R2-D2. (more on that later)

[up][up]If these four are to be friends with the original SW crew, then I would guess Tahei and Matashichi and C-3 and Artoo would tolerate each other out of necessity. C-3 would probably be easily offended by their crude attitude. I can actually see them attempt to dismantle the robots to get at the metal inside, only to get caught and scolded by the others.

Can I please get a full consensus on this

I have proposed Perpetua for Not Quite the Almighty; she is the creator of the DC Multiverse however is herself a lesser Demiurge to the Source, and is motivated by large in fear of its judgement. Sailor Venus 372, Whirl RX and The Wikia Editor approved, Vengeful Bale and Hamana Hamana Hamana disapproved. How many more approvals to disapprovals do I need to have the clearance to do this?

@Donnietu, I know it's not what your asking for, but I think you can mention a Commonality Connection with The Seven Samurai. As they were directed by Akira Kurosawa.

@Sailor Venus 372, Since the Starmen are evil invaders from space, you can add The Doctor, The Space Sheriffs, Team Lightyear, Agent K and Agent J (The Men in Black), The Guardians of the Galaxy, The Green Lanterns, The Mega Men and the Autobots to name a few as enemies. You could probably have the Decepticons as allies.

@Migami, I'll reserve Freya, Anubis, Odin (Final Fantasy), The Fiends and Jason Brody.

@RJ, I think a major problem with Perpetua, is that you were building her profile both before her story ended and without approval. I think you have the needed approvals to be allowed to work on her, but with what I just mentioned, there's a lack of faith in it.
