Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Anyway, with 2 [tup] and a few additions, i think i'm done with Whitemane

Sally Whitemane, Goddess of Hats That Represent Authority (High Inquisitor Whitemane, Initiate)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/whitemane_0.jpg
  • [tup]: 2 (N3xus, Muundeis)
  • Potential House: Hats
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Her Chapeau
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (True Neutral as a Death Knight)
  • Portfolio: Ruthless Crusader named Sally, Healing Hands, A very nice looking Chapeau, Staff of Authority, White Hair, Black Heart, Combat Medic, Noblewoman's Laugh, Facial Markings, Fantastic Racism, The Fundamentalist, Light Is Not Good
  • Domains: Religion, Light, Healing, Hats, Fanatism, Crusade
  • Allies: William Stryker, Judge Claude Frollo, YHVH, Father Elijah
  • Enemies:
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Alexander Anderson
  • Sally Whitemane was one of the many victims of the onslaught that befell Lordaeron, where the Undead Scourge ravaged the land, murdering any living being on their way. While she survived the conflict, the young Sally swore that she would destroy every single undead and became an adept priest of the Light. She eventually became one of the Heads of the Scarlet Crusade, who like Whitemane seeked to purify Azeroth of all creature that would taint it and the Light and Whitemane eventually attained the title of High Inquisitor. Her rule and methods where ruthless and violent, eventually growing mad with power and fanatism but unknown to her she and her peers were being manipulated by the Dreadlord Balnazaar and eventually the Scarlet Crusade where taken down by the Alliance and Horde who believed their methods were getting out of hand. Whitemane herself was killed much later by a former member of the Scarlet Crusade turned undead and her power of resurrection was nullified. However, her services were required once more after the Ebon Blade revived her and turned her into one of their Horsemen. However, her ascension to the pantheon brought a much different Whitemane.
  • While flattered over being chosen as a deity, Whitemane was brought back as a human to the Pantheon and that caused her to become a light devotee again and so her dedication towards the Light and The Scarlet Crusade also returned. It's implied that the behavior is due to her counterpart in the Nexus still being the High Inquisitor instead of the Death Knight and so her goals of purging the world of all that would oppose the Light returned.
    • However, she was utterly baffled that the only reason she ended up ascending is because of her chapeau given the significance of her position in the Scarlet Crusade. That hat made her a big target to adventurers looking to take it for themselves and she is very tired of their constant meddling just for a hat.
  • Her organization opposses the undead and seek to purge every single one of them. The High Inquisitor has the same idea for the pantheon and has embarked in a quest to do that but was met by a lot of opposition in certain cases, since she cares little for the morality of the undead deities and sometimes she goes after those who are actually heroic. Whitemane scoffs at the idea that the mindless undead can actually be morally correct and she only cares about their destruction, ironic considering that in Azeroth she is eventually risen as a Death Knight by the Ebon Blade and she is a lot more reasonable as an undead.
    • Her biggest enemies are by far the Scourge, who are responsible for ravaging her home and turning her into what she is today. She holds Arthas with nothing but contempt and has sworn to punish him with the power the light has given her.
  • Many of the deities associated with the Light have wondered why a force that is considered benevolent as the Light would consider lending its power to someone so ruthless as Whitemane, not to mention that she is considerably powerful for a priestess and her resurrection spell is infamous among adventurers. It's been theorized that the Light isn't too picky when it comes to giving power to those that would carry their will but aren't morally right while other believe that the entity that lends power to Whitemane is none other than YHVH himself.
    • This in turn made her be in conflict with the draenei Paladin Yrel and fellow user of the light, who can't believe that Whitemane uses its power for the atrocities the Scarlet Crusade has commited, prompting the High Inquisitor to scoff at the beliefs of the young draenei and that the Light is more vengeful that the Draenei would like to admit.
  • As a religious figure, Whitemane is quite involved in the House of Faith, even trying to bring her fellow comrade Renault Mograine and the rest of the Scarlet Crusade. She even got involved with other less than savoury fellows like Frollo or William Stryker who like her are The Fundamentalist. Stryker even shares the same racism against any creature that isn't human.
    • She hates that most deities brush off the Scarlet Crusade as nothing but a Corrupt Church, claiming that they can't see the true purpose of the organization and that they will pay for looking down on them. Oyashiro felt pity for such a misguided soul believing the lies she was told by her superiors but Whitemane completely ignored her, refusing to listed to someone whose blood is tainted by demonic energy.
  • She hates demons too, moreso after finding out that a Dreadlord secretly manipulated her order for his own gain. However, she has retained her faith in the Scarlet Crusade and so she also is very adamant in exterminating demons, Sargeras being her top priority.
  • Whitemane has a reputation of being a very effective healer, even if some people think she is a bit aggressive sometimes. Her Healing Hands have reminded people of Asia Argento, who besides holding the title also used to be an important church figure with healing power that also fell victim of a demon manipulating her and making her life worse. Whitemane finds said comparison laughable, since she stated that she will never steep as low as Asia and become a demon like she did, even though the latter had no choice. Asia, while not really fond of the High Inquisitor herself, only felt pity for her because in her eyes she was as much of a puppet as she used to be and finds it ironic she would criticize Asia's transformation into a demon considering that Whitemane would eventually be revived as an undead, making the both of them Not So Different.
  • She considers the world of Sanctuary to be a place of sin and would undoubtably purge the demonic entities that plague the land. She had the displeasure of meeting a few of its demonic denizens during the conflicts in the Nexus, with the Lord of Hatred Mephisto being the one she found the most repulsive, unaware that the demonic overlord feasts on her hatred for everything. Meanwhile, she looks down on the crusader of the Nephalem because she refused to work under the Scarlet Crusade and Johanna herself considers Whitemane an insane fanatic whose beliefs could bring more harm than good.
  • Noticed that a few deities sound a lot like her, but she paid no mind to most of them except for a couple few. She was intrigued by Farnese de Vardimion given her past as a member of the Holy Iron Chain Knights and was dissapointed when she eventually foregone her beliefs after her experiences in the battlefield, but Whitemane has been careful with provoking her too much since Farnese's tools are similar to those that ultimately caused her death. Then there was Sophitia Alexandra, whose dedication to the Greek Gods could match that of the High Inquisitor efforts in the Scarlet Crusade, but Sophitia doesn't want to be associated with such an evil person such as Whitemane.
  • A bit of a Dominatrix in both clothing and attitude, preferring to punish heretics over aiding her allies. One would say that she would easily get along with the likes of Bayonetta and Ivy Valentine but she refuses to be associated with a witch and a criminal.
  • Surprisingly enough, Whitemane managed to make a good impression on Father Elijah and vice versa. While the High Inquisitor could care less about technology, she did find Elijah's dedication to make a "quieter" world to be an useful asset in the Scarlet's Crusade purge against anyone that dare oppose them and so decided to strike a deal with him. Elijah at first didn't really want to bother with her but he also saw some use in her even if she can be a bit overbearing with her devotion to the light, nevertheless they agreed to work together.
  • For someone with a reputation of being ruthless and unforgiving like Whitemane, some people find it hilarious that her first name is Sally, which paints a huge contrast with her usual demeanor and attitude. She isn't bothered by her name but is so more annoyed at the people that poke fun of it.
  • "Let the inquisition commence!"

Any child murderers? I doubt even the Highwayman would appreciate it, since killing a child was a reason he is on hell's road.

Ancestor: "Elusive, evasive, persistent... Righteous traits for a rogue."

  • Superior: The Ancestor
  • Allies: Flaggelant, The Hunter
  • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals.
  • Enemies: The Crimson Court, The Hag
  • Once a bandit that robs from wagon on the old road until a reflex on one pillage killed a woman and child, he went a quest for redemption in the Darkest Dungeon.
    • He is, once again, hired by the Ancestor in taking jobs from the dangers such as the Crimson Court and the Hag.
  • He care little about Robin Hood's famed accomplishments, despite both of them being known for robbing people in the old road (even if Robin Hood is too old for the Highwayman fad). That said,
  • He meets the Hunter in an expedition once. Given that they tend to favor a similar choices in weaponry and are pretty used to fighting off monsters and walking away with adverse effects on the mind, they'd make a good ally.
  • It is believed that he is carrying around Dismas's severed head around the Pantheon, much to the discomfort of the other gods.
  • Despite being a ruthless killer, he would never harm a woman or child as it was his accidental murder that send him on a quest for redemption. Even worse is that it is believed that said woman and child were his own wife and child.

I'd like to nominate the following for ascension:

Also, pretty much done with Altaïr's profile. Unless there's something left to add, I think I'm done with this one.

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, God of Badass Long Robes (Son of Umar, Mentor)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/altair_ac_render_2877.png
Click here to see Altaïr in his old age
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Assassin Insignia, specifically the Levantine Brotherhood Insignia
  • Theme Song: Access the Animus, Altaïr and Darim
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Assassination, Death, Killing, Stealth, Big Good, Greater-Scope Paragon, Determinator, Secular Hero, Seeker of Knowledge, Warrior Poet
  • Domain(s): Death, Illusion, Mind, Time, Love, Stealth, Combat, Knowledge, Freedom
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: The Templar Order, Shay Patrick Cormac, YHVH, anyone who opposes free will.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Night Raid
  • Conflicting Opinion on: Hassan-I-Sabbah
  • Born into the Assassin Brotherhood, Altaïr became Mentor after assassinating the Brotherhood's treacherous leader, Al Mualim. Through knowledge gained from an Apple of Eden, Altaïr made several discoveries and inventions that aided in the Brotherhood's improvement, as well as removing rules and rituals that he considered to be either unnecessary or outright detrimental to the Brotherhood. During his tenure as Mentor, Altaïr took the Assassins in a new, more secretive direction by dispersing them, intending for them to be spread across the world and live among the people. After evacuating Masyaf's castle when it was sieged by Mongols, Altaïr passed away shortly after sealing himself and the Apple away inside his hidden library in order to prevent anyone from finding it and abusing its power.
  • Altaïr originally ascended into the pantheon as the God of Assassins. However, he decided to give the position to Ezio, as he considered him to be a better representative of the title. Altaïr would remain within the pantheon as a source of guidance to his successor.
  • Having a great amount of respect for Altaïr, Ezio sought for a position for him as a deity within the Pantheon. Eventually, Altaïr was granted the title of God of Badass Long Robes, as he had almost never been seen wearing anything other than his distinctive robes during his lifetime (and was seen on only one occasion with his hood down).
  • In tribute of Altaïr, many of his successors have worn his robes on occasion. Even non-Assassin deities like Solid Snake and Noctis have been seen donning his robes, which he finds very flattering.
  • Altaïr is rather conflicted about his opinion regarding Hassan-I-Sabbah, particularly since his world's Hassan had been responsible for reorganizing the Assassin Brotherhood into a public organization in order to give people hope. He disapproves of Hassan's more brutal methods and willingness to go to extremes to achieve his goals, whereas Hassan is not particularly fond of Altaïr's atheism and secular worldview. However, the two ultimately respect each other's respective achievements and are both opposed to YHVH and his tyrannical approach to imposing his Law upon everyone.
  • Having dealt with treacherous Assassins on previous occasions, Altaïr strongly dislikes Shay Cormac, although he is willing to admit that Shay's defection can partially be blamed on the Colonial Brotherhood's poor communication skills. His view on Haytham is a bit more mixed, as he believes that Haytham could very well have been an Assassin if he hadn't been indoctrinated into the Templar Order at a young age. Haytham, in turn, considers Altaïr to be far more sensible compared to the Colonial Assassins of his own era, as Altaïr fights to bring peace in contrast to what Haytham regards as the Colonial Brotherhood's "nonsense talk" of fighting for freedom.
  • Being incapable of swimming, he tends to avoid the land of water in the House of Nature as much as possible, although his fellow Assassins have offered to teach him how to swim.
  • Altaïr tends to frequently visit the Houses of Knowledge and Craft, wishing to study and learn as much as possible, as well as inventing more tools and weapons for the Brotherhood.
  • Many were surprised to discover that Altaïr was quite talented at playing football, even having a super move called the "Eagle Strike". He's been known to play matches with Rayman and Sam Fisher.
  • He once had a somewhat awkward run-in with Alex Mason, who initially mistook him for Mullah Rahman because their voices sound the same. Similarly, Master Chief once confused him with Robert Dalton for the same reason.
  • Upon learning that there was another Altair in the pantheon, he started making an effort to not get confused with her.

  • Leitmotif: Slave Knight Gael, or alternatively, Uncle Gael
  • Demigod, borderline Greater God after consuming the Dark Soul.
  • Symbol: The Slave Knight set or the Dark Soul of Man.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good in objectives, Chaotic Neutral/Evil after consuming the Dark Soul.
  • Portfolio: Placed as a Slave Knight, Cool Old Guy, The Cavalry, Ascended Extra, the Knight to the Painter, Walking Spoiler due to consuming the Dark Soul and becoming its incarnate self, No longer a regular human, Power of the Dark Soul, Consuming the Dark Soul for the Painter's painting, Wrecked BFS, The Final Boss of the entire series.
  • Domains: Slavery, Determination, Perseverance, Dark Powers, Empowerment.
  • Herald: The Painter
  • Allies: The Ashen One, The Vortigaunts, The Human Child (though he does envy him), The Sinner
  • Not So Different from: Artorias the Abysswalker, Ludwig the Accursed, Guts
  • Avoids: Manus, Father of the Abyss
  • Pitied by: Sora, Finn the Human
  • Under watch by: The SCP Foundation, The Light And Darkness subhouse.
  • Source of Interest: Master Xehanlort, The Ancestor
  • Enemies: Lord Gwyn, Sister Friede, Noob Saibot,
  • An old decript man from a long age, Gael was a Slave Knight, a knight that would be put into the battlefields expected to do his duty by his masters. Few generations of constant fighting, other slave knighs fell, but not for Gael, as his newfound home (the Painted World of Ariandel), gave him further courage to live and support a lady, the Painter. When the Painter finally asked for the Dark Soul of Man, he didn't hesitate and sacrifice his life to consume the Dark Soul, in the hopes he can make the entity into a usable manifestation for the Painter. This act gave him a spot in the Pantheons, but not before many deities had to give restrictions on him and the Dark Soul.
  • Just as he ascended, majority of the deities immediately separated him from his transformed self since he got out of control. To Gael’s credit though, his herald, the Painter asked for the Dark Soul, which she will use for her painting. He doesn’t mind though, as he is able to wander around the Pantheons without harm. He also says the Pantheon is a much better place than the world he has gone through.
  • Has a habit of wondering around the House of Craft, possibly looking for a young, long-haired woman. He was dissappointed upon hearing that she was nowhere to be found, though he remarks that some deities are able to make worlds via painting them.
  • Upon his ascension, the SCP Foundation immediately set their eyes on Gael, seeing that he became a catalyst to the Dark Soul. Worried that he may be a massive threat, the O-5 Council placed him as one of the very few non SCP deities to prioritize on, especially on two things: preventing him from consuming the Dark Soul, and making sure he never encounters Manus.
    • The House of Light & Darkness has also made sure not to let him even one step of the house due to his potential, as they know darkness was the source of his corruption. The Light based ones are willing to help combat his situation should he ever get out of hand.
  • He sees alot with Ludwig, Artorias and Guts, seeing them as massive swordsmen who have gone through their harsh upbringings and eventual corruptions. Artorias however stays away from him, due to fear of the Abyss that corrupted him for a long time.
  • He is also glad upon hearing that the Ashen One has ascended, since he helped him clear Sister Friede from the clutches of the Painted World of Ariandel, something he has problems doing by himself. Unfortunately, upon hearing that even she ascended alongside, he is willing to fight her again to make sure she stays dead, even if it means dying a hundred times over.
  • Sora pities him to a good extent. He has seen so many corrupted Heartless, but nothing can compare than to a person who got corrupted willingly to what is essentially Humanity’s missing aspect, all while having a good purpose in his ultimatum goals. He sees a good heart in him, since he is willing to sacrifice alot for the Painter, but is worried by the fact that he become corrupted by eating the Dark Soul.
    • On the other hand, Master Xehanort is willing to use him to extract the Dark Soul for his intentions, since he can use said soul to create a new batch of Heartless. He has avoided him to make sure this never happens.
  • As a slave, he enjoys the company of the Vortiguants, seeing them as former slaves who gained independence, just like him. The Vortiguants also see uniqueness in him, especially for a human.
  • Out of all the deities who are interested in him, the Ancestor is the most notable. He sees Gael as a proof that humans are not different from abominations as a whole. On the other hand, he knows the Ancestor’s cruel intentions, which is why he avoids him (emphasis on try).
The Ancestor: And here I show you all, that we are all one in the same. The undeniable truth of “humanity”, at our fingertips.
Gael: I know your kind, and I’ve seen enough of your kind. Now leave me be.
The Ancestor: You cannot escape madness! I have seen countless people try, and you won’t be exempted from it.
    • Noob Saibot also sees interest in him, seeing to himself that he can be a much worthy wielder of the Dark Soul, which however means killing the old man. He will not allow that to happen anytime soon.
  • Gwyn went on a rampage hearing that another Dark Soul incarnate has ascended. He attempted to kill him in the first few days of his ascension, but the conflict has lessened. Still, Gwyn’s fury is high enough to send more guards to dispose of him. The Slave Knight has nothing but utter loss for the Lord of Cinder, hearing that had Gwyn not removed Humanity’s original Dark Soul using the Darksign, the entire world would have not engulfed itself into a massive cycle between Flame and Dark.
  • The Human Child is someone Gael is rather envious about, seeing that his Determination helped alot with his friends, as well as being an actual power in of itself. He wishes that such a power would exist in his world, then maybe the fates of most humans wouldn’t so bad overall.
    • On his first day of his ascension, Finn the Human immediately wanted to slay him, seeing him as a dangerous person for possessing the Dark Soul. However, upon realizing his ultimate goal, and his real attitude, he grew to pity him, seeing that even an old, decreipt man has a heart at the worst times. He is even willing to help him gain what the Painter needs even though Gael mentions that he must do it himself. Even moreso with the Dark Soul, which he has dedicated himself to be the sacrificial host for it so that the essence can be used for the Painting. While sad hearing that he cannot help him in anyway, he has made an oath with the hero of Ooo: should he go corrupted once more, he and the Ashen One shall slay him and deliver the Dark Soul to his herald, to which he accepted.
Finn: Look, I know your goals but I know there has to be another way.
Gael: I know, but it has to be this way.
Finn: No, but there is always another way, a third option right?
Gael: There is none. You cannot grasp it fully with your just bare hands. A sacrifice must be needed, for the Dark Soul has to be delivered.
Finn: Then fine! I will find a way, not everyone has to go through such suffering.
  • What? Still here, hand it over, that thing, your Dark Soul. For my Lady’s Painting.

@MVS: To answer your question, I guess Pennywise and Freddy Krueger are on his shitlist; they may be more powerful than him but that doesn't stop The Highwayman from trying. Basco to Jolokia hurts children on a regular basis and his depraved exchange methods are also enough to be opposed by the Highwayman. Handsome Jack finds him another worthless bandit which offends the Highwayman as he stopped being a bandit long ago, not to mention Jack's pettiness earn him scorn from said former bandit.

@TheWikiaEditor: Despite being on the chaotic side, Altair strongly disagrees with Lucifer's ideals as they have the potential to cause humanity's downfall, which Altair does not want and feels he is no better than YHVH. Add this in and this [tup] will prepare Altair's ascension.

Also, I approve of your Prince of Persia ideas. [tup]

Feeling more happy with this Mona draft! Anything else I could add?

Mona, Goddess Of Constantly Changing Jobs

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/monawwg0.png
  • Potential House: Outlooks on Job
  • [tup]s:
  • Ascension: ???
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: The Mona Pizza
  • Theme Song: Mona's Pizza
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: MANY odd jobs, Drives Like Crazy, Wanting Wario of all people, a Fiery Redhead Genki Girl, having a fashion idol mother and a artist father whom she rarely sees, many a fancy dresses and hats, Foil to Wario
  • Domains: Pizza, various jobs, microgames, romance
  • Allies: Wario, Ashley, 9-volt and 18-volt, Grimm, Barbie, Karen Minazuki, Super Sonico, Ibuki Mioda, Miku Hatsune, Rise Kujikawa and her bandmates
  • Friendly Rivalry: Speedy Gonzales
  • Enemies: Courtney Gears and her bandmates
  • During one of Wario's more famous attempts to make money, he has enlisted the help of several people to aid him in creating microgames. Mona is one of these people. Sure, she is a video game designer, but over the years of working for Wario, she has also been a waitress, a cheerleader, a Pizza Delivery Girl, a rock 'n' roll guitarist, an explorer of ancient temples and a Magazine Reporter. You can expect that within a year she'll probably add another job to the resume. It was for this surprisingly long resume that the redhead was allowed to ascend.
  • Mona once used to be a goddess for this position, but, fittingly, she dropped it to focus on doing other odd jobs. 9-volt and 18-volt petitioned Wario to help them get her ascended once more. Wario refused on grounds that it would interfere with her working on her microgames and told them to stop worrying about her. However, he actually went behind their backs and help Mona get brought back in all by himself, saying it was just for business reasons. 9-volt and 18-volt don't know what to think of this, especially after finding out by that Wario may reciprocate his feelings for Mona. For now, the two nerds have that tidbit locked away in their brains and just warmly welcomed her back.
  • She also seems interested in befriending Ashley as well, giving her sympathies to her for how she is so lonely without her parents, just like how Mona rarely sees her parents. Ashley tried to brush it off saying she hates the pity, but she does find it hard to keep denying Mona's offer of visiting her whenever she's lonely.
    • She also extends this same offer and sorrow to Karen Minazuki, who is another Lonely Rich Kid who doesn't see her parents that often.
  • Surprisingly, Mona has a crush on Wario of all people. Yes, THAT Wario. According to Mona, this is because of his sense of style, even citing him as her fashion icon as well as complimenting his mustache. There is also the fact that she may have gained a love for adventuring from him as well. Wario was stunned to find out how much Mona was inspired from him, before laughing it off and saying that he is the perfect role model. A couple keen gods the next day spotted Wario in a blissful, happy to pay back his employees for once with a bright smile and even brighter cheeks. He tried to get the money back the next day after realizing what happened, only to find out that his employees already spent it all. Considering that Wario’s latest attempt to get rich ended with him spending his employees’ money on food before they could claim it, it’s hard to feel sympathy for that.
  • Just as she found Wario attractive and fashionable, she also confessed that she finds Grimm to be just as fabulous. His response was chuckling and commenting on how that was a first for him and that Mona was either missing some parts or that they were all made of brass.
  • Has quickly set up her pizzeria shop within the House Of Food, aptly titled the “Mona Pizza”. Plenty of deities quickly fell in love with her pizza as well as her song, although question why she has allowed her rivals at “Pizza Dinosaur” to be a part of the song. Mona has her lips kept shut on the reason why. Currently, she enjoys a healthy sense of competition with Speedy Gonzales, who owns his own pizza place in the same house. Just expect them to get really into their contests.
  • Due to both of them working multiple jobs and being guitarists, Mona has become fast friends with Super Sonico. She has also pointed her towards 9-volt, a fellow gamer who she thinks could get along swimmingly with.
    • She has also befriended other musicians, like Ibuki Mioda and Miku Hatsune. She does have a personal preference for fellow guitarist Ibuki however. She views Rise's band as a nice group to compete with on stage with her own band, "Mona And The Hot Slices". Meanwhile, she sees Courtney Gear's band as a bunch of jealous people who want to steal her fame, like how Vanessa did to try and sabotage Mona's band.
  • Not to be confused with Plague Knight's assistant/girlfriend.

@ Muundeis: .GIFfany could be enemies with Omegamon, who would see her as no better than Diaboromon. .GIFfany wouldn't be too fond of Diaboromon either because the latter wants to destroy the world and .GIFfany can't have that because no world equals no boyfriend. She would also try to corrupt Cortana and get her to return to her Halo 5: Guardians personalities, and the Master Chief wouldn't like that.

@ Rmpdc: Tamie could be friends with reporters Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Also, Zussman could feel sorry for Soldier #25954 for his traumatic experiences.
@ The Wikia Editor: I don't think the new Prince should have What the Hell, Hero?, a trope which involves the hero getting called out for acting in a morally questionable manner, not the hero acting rashly or like a jerk.
@ Nightelf: Maybe Nier could find some common ground with Geralt in the way they treat their daughters. One of the ways Geralt can have the best in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is by letting Ciri make her own decisions, instead of overprotecting her all the time.

[up]But there's also the fact that Nier refuses to see monsters as anything but, whereas Geralt isn't nearly as discriminatory. Also, Nier goes out of his way to help the common folk, while Geralt knows there's no real point in bending over backwards to every problem in sight. Thirdly... I got nothing.

@fasoman1996 The Bottomless Pit Rescue Service Trope refers specifically to the one who is saving someone from the fall, not to the one being rescued. I could perhaps nominate The Prince for God of Surviving Falls Into Bottomless Pits instead.

@wootzits The 2008 reboot Prince is very different from one from the Sands of Time Trilogy. He's not even a prince and is never even directly called such in-game.

@Master Hero I don't wish to spoil the game in case anyone in this thread wishes to play it at some point, but let's just say that the Prince does indeed get called out for acting in a morally questionable manner at the end of the game and the DLC continuation.

And unknown to Ren, it is just about to get worse as he get's dragged into a massive plot involving a group of supernatural Nazi's called the Longinus Dreizehn Orden that plans to summon their leader, Reinhard Tristan Eugen Heydrich, into our world. All while he finds out he is supposed to be someone called Zarathustra that is going to help bring it about.
  • He is soon driven into an encounter with a mysterious cursed girl named Marguerite Breuilh (Marie) and the guillotine that claimed her life, becoming its wielder and Marie's partner. Despite his reluctance, Ren is left with little choice but to go along with the Orden's plan lest whatever is left of his treasured life is lost forever, since at the very least it means he will be able to face the one behind all of this.
  • The guillotine he wields, Bois de Justice, appears as a large curved blade protruding from his arm that is able to harness Marie's curse and is thus able to kill anyone whose neck makes contact with its blade, regardless of regeneration or immortality.
    • His main ability, his Beri'ah, Eine Faust Ouvertüre, stemming from his desire for time to stop and preserve the days he so value, allows him to accelerate his own time effectively slowing down everything around him from his perspective.
    • Under the right circumstances he can gain an alternate Beri'ah called Eine Faust Scherzo which allows him to permanently kill the living dead, stemming from a desire of the fact that the dead should stay dead.
    • Additionally, should Ren ever crave power from Mercurius or be lost to rage and despair, his craving will distort becoming a twisted and unrestrained version of his wish, Eine Faust Finale. In this state his body will distort into a hellish mockery of his past self and will start to slow down time around him in addition to speeding up his own, all while gravity increases to unprecedented levels in the field of effect.
    • He eventually also gains the ability known as Time Armor which freezes his own state in time to a single moment, effectively rendering him immune to all damage.
  • Eventually he comes to understand that he was effectively created for this entire plan and never had any real free will, only meant as a vessel for Marie and to offer Reinhard the fight he so desires, and as such have little choice but to see the plan to it's conclusion. It all culminates with him emanating his law of the ephemeral moment to counter Reinhard's law of eternal strife, in turn allowing Marie to emanate hers just as Mercurius had planned. Eventually, Reinhard meets his defeat satisfied while Marie becomes the 5th Heaven, succeeding Mercurius, while Ren continues with his life now as a time locked existence.
    • Unfortunately this would come to an end as a being known as Hajun would rise to power thanks to Marie's law, killing her and becoming the 6th Heaven. Being the sole survivor of the 5th Heavens multiverse, Ren was able to prevent to absolute destruction of everything by forcefully invoking his law, locking Hajun in his tracks and becoming a being known as Tenma Yato in the process. Ren would hold this lock for more than 8000 years, an act that would wear on his sanity until he was killed by the Eastern Expedition.
  • After his ascension to the Pantheon, he can often be found in the House of Schools almost more often than he can be found in his own. This seems to largely stem from his desire to just have his regular routine.
    • Perhaps a big reason for that is due to him feeling like he is the sole normal person in a gathering of absurdly powerful nutjobs. These are feeling that perhaps have been brought forth even more so as he was summoned by the Throne forcing him to meet his former enemies, people he has had enough of for several lifetimes.
"I swear, what kind of fucked up karma brought this on... Not only do I have to meet these guys I never wanted to see again, I have to be acquainted with people who are just as annoying. And cooperate with all of them, on top of everything? This is some kind of bullying, I tell you".
  • His relationship with Mercurius is a complicated and strained one. While technically Ren's real father, his constantly scheming and controlling habits as well as being the leading cause of the whole mess that turned his life upside down has made Ren despise him, perhaps to an extent more so than even his hatred for Reinhard.
  • He is a close ally of The Living Tribunal, since unlike other Gods of the Throne, he never ascended the Throne despite having the right to do so. Additionally, his desire for stability and permanence alongside his Law and past history with Hajun has lead to him being put in a favorable position as a warden and peacekeeper.
  • Despite their apparent similarities at first glance, Ren can't stand Shirou Emiya, finding him a hopeless case stuck in the past with unrealistic ideals whose stubbornly refusing to accept and grow. To Ren, at the end of the day, the only ones you are likely to save are those close to you that you care about, all to preserve the life you live right now. That, and he just can't seem to bring himself to like the guy, for some reason.
  • After his stint of being overwhelmed by his rage and emotions under Eine Faust Finale, Ren found an unlikely mentor figure in Asura. Given that both had shared similar experiences of losing control, it should perhaps no be a surprise. To Ren, Asura ends up being a great help for helping him control himself as well as turning the rage to something constructive.
  • One guy Ren cannot stand is Lucifer, specifically the fact that he seeks to uproot the status quo, something that Ren is very defensive about. Lucifer meanwhile argues that it is a necessary evil to bring about positive change for everyone. What infuriates Ren even more is that inside, he knows that Lucifer is at least partially right given who he is up against, yet he feels he cannot allow Lucifer to have his way.
  • Has really conflicted opinions on Yoshikage Kira. On one hand he finds Kira's nature as a serial killer hard to tolerate given that it was a string of murders that ruined his once peaceful life, to say nothing of the slaughters carried out by his nemesis, the L.D.O. But on the other hand he can also sympathize with him for wanting to just live a peaceful and predicable life. Further complicating his emotions regarding Kira, it was his own obsession with the peaceful life that birthed his law of eternal stagnation, something he realized could not be allowed to exist. In some ways, he kinda sees himself similar to Kira, being a pair of fools desperate to retain their comfort at the expense of the world and everyone in it.
  • Ren have quite a bit of sympathy for Hyde Kido, largely stemming from their shared goal of keeping their every day life. If anything, Ren can't help but view him with a bit of envy over the fact that he doesn't let that desire consume him and be his sole driving motivation.
  • Being a Cosmic Plaything like few, Ren has found some support in Ragna. And while Ren haven't had to deal with as much bad luck as Ragna, they are still able to share sentiments of not being in control of their own fates. This is further strengthened by both achieving godhood in order to save what they cared about.
