- Vivian Wong and Leon Von Schroeder in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series:
Recycled Tropes SUCK! Why do you always hafta get us all worried like that?!
- Action Girl: Many of her characters fits into this bill: Mordred, Black Cat, Cassie Cage, Captain Marvel, Psylocke, Menat, Jessie, Loona and Momoko are a few examples.
- Casting Gag: Like Cherami Leigh, Erica voices a lot of blond girls. She goes from a school idol, a sickly musician, Knight of the Round, Special Forces Agent, baker's daughter, and more.
- Contralto of Strength: Her normal voice is quite sultry and deep which fits well with her strong Action Girl roles. As evidenced by Felicia Hardy/Black Cat.
- Cool Big Sis: Some of her roles qualify. Celica serves as both a big sister type figure for many of the characters and being an Action Girl at the same time.
- Deadpan Snarker: She has quite a few notable roles that fit the bill.
- Ms. Fanservice: Played many characters who embody this.
- The Other Darrin: She, along with Diana Kaarina, Darrined the role of Barbie from Kelly Sheridan. The three all passed the role around until 2020, when America Young landed the role.
- Promoted Fangirl: She has mentioned a few times that she was a fan of Naruto, and she was more than happy to get the role of Sumire in its Sequel Series, Boruto.
- She also mentioned about being a huge fan of My Hero Academia and wanted to appear in the dub someday. Her wish was fulfilled in Season 6 when she played Lady Nagant.
- Playing Against Type: Futaba is a quirky, shy Hikikomori with very low self-esteem.
- Queer Character, Queer Actor:
- While her sexuality doesn't come up in Psylocke is canonically, like Erica, bisexual.
- While Black Cat's sexuality didn't come up in Spider-Man (PS4), Marvel's Spider-Man 2 does confirm that, like Erica and Felicia herself in the comics, the version of Felicia in the Spider-Man (Insomniac) universe is bi, too.
- Persona 5 also implies that Futaba is bisexual.
- Lucy in Rune Factory 5 can be romanced by a protagonist of either gender as of the game's Western release.
- Star-Making Role: If Futaba wasn't big enough, then it's definitely her role as Jessie that put her on the map. For the anime side of things, her roles as Ibara and Kaori puts her in the spotlight.
- Typecasting: At the start of her career, a large majority of her roles tend to be Action Girl or Cool Big Sis. She has, however, recently branched out into more variety of roles, especially after her Playing Against Type role as Futaba.
- Woman of a Thousand Voices: Futaba, Jessie, Black Cat, Menat, Sophitia, and Cassie demonstrate her vocal range.
- Word of Saint Paul: She supports the theory that Futaba is autistic and assumed such when voicing her.
- If you cannot summon a trope, then act like one! Act. Like. A. Trope!
Oh dear gods, please listen to me...
Ew! Seriously?
