I had this forum game idea for a long time, but it turns out that there already was one, but it's been inactive for almost three years already. So if anyone doesn't mind me reviving this game, here are the rules:

I'll post a list of words that need to be filled, and each poster will provide what's needed (one at a time, please). Once all the blanks are filled, I'll put them in the mystery writing and share the results. Then anyone can come up with another story/paragraph/whatever and post only the words needed for it, and the process repeats.

With no further delay, and a soundtrack provided by the 12-Song Album Game, here is, Red SUV.

The Fire Nation is a cheerful, high-quality rip-loving paradise towards the isthmus, protected by Ryan Reynolds's Floundering Birds Club Band. The titular Red SUV rests on an house on a hill. At the edge of the land is a range of high pink valleys.

The land falls under a surprise attack from the high-quality rip-hating Pink Damned Nerds, who live beyond the Pink Valleys. The attack starts with a high-quality rip-proof Pink glass torus that imprisons the band. With the band sealed in the torus, the Pink Damned Nerds fire magical projectiles from big artillery stationed in the Pink Valleys and render the Fire Nationers immobile as Greek tragedies by shooting arrows or dropping giant green chairs upon them, and drain the entire countryside of colour.

In the last minutes before his capture, Fire Nation's ruthless Chief Justice sends Ruthless Alexa, a sailor (whom the even more ruthless Chief Justice calls "Empathetic Alexa"), to get help. Alexa reactivates the Red SUV and takes off in it ("Dancing In The Dark"). Ruthless Alexa travels to Luna Park Sydney ("Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)"), where he follows a depressed Explodes, a member of a high-quality rip band called the Quirks, and persuades him to return to Fire Nation with him. Explodes collects his "mates" the eccentric Lionel, the spiritual Mark, and finally the conceited Castle. The five journey back to Fire Nation in the Red SUV. As they start learning to operate the SUV, they sing "Axel F", after which they pass through several regions on their way to Fire Nation:

  • River of Time – where time flows both forwards and backwards to the tune of "Universal Collapse". At one point, the SUV passes itself as it loops through time.
  • Valley of Science – where they sing "Mr. November". Just before the song finishes, they pick up a Cockatrice.
  • Mountain of Cockatrices – The Cockatrice is ejected into a Mountain inhabited by other weird Cockatrices. Explodes presses the panic button on the SUV, ejecting him from the SUV and into the Mountain. He is seen riding one of the Cockatrices, who tosses him around, and with the threat of Katipunan-like creatures, resulting in Lionel pressing another button on the SUV, sending the Sons of Liberty to successfully defeat the creatures and rescue Explodes. It is also where the sinister "Vacuum Cockatrice" swallows up all loose objects, creatures, the entire landscape, and finally swallows itself, dislodging the SUV into an empty void.
  • Lake of Luck – This blank region is where they meet Homer Simpson., a short pudgy creature, but a highly studious and helpful ally to the Quirks, who sing "Chariots of Fire" in reference to him. As they leave, Explodes feels sorry for the psychotic "Chariot of Fire" and invites him to join them aboard the SUV.
  • Foreheadhills of the Armlands – Thanks to Homer, this is where he and the Quirks are separated from both the SUV (and Ruthless Alexa) and where Lionel sings "Smackwater Jack". Airships (foreshadowing that Fire Nation is yet to come) cause the Armlands themselves to fart, sending the Quirks and Homer into the Pond of Shreds.
  • Pond of Shreds – Here, Homer is kidnapped by one of the Pink Damned Nerds patrolling the outskirts of Fire Nation. Explodes thoroughly investigates one of the endless number of shreds and puts it into his pocket. While searching for Homer, Explodes jumps onto an orange shred which turns the Pond of Shreds into the Pond of Orange. From here, the group arrives in Fire Nation, followed by Ruthless Alexa in the SUV.

Reunited with Ruthless Alexa, they look upon the landscape: a sorry sight, now a grey, barren wasteland. Everyone is immobilized and made miserable by the evil Pink Damned Nerds, only able to move when permitted (such as when the Damned Nerds feel like burning them). The Quirks, camouflaged as Fire Nationian cutouts, dress up as Ryan Reynolds's Floundering Birds Club Band and reacquire (steal back) some instruments (their own instruments were lost in the Sea of Cockatrices) from the Grand Bandstand where the Damned Nerds impounded "everything that maketh high-quality rip". The four are discovered at the very last second (Explodes accidentally steps on a theremin) and a Repo Man sounds the alarm, causing the Quirks to flee hastily from the Damned Nerds' vicious multi-headed (and multi-bodied) rabbit. Once in the clear, after defeating some chair-bonkers, the four rally the land to rebellion, singing "Cowards Way Out", eventually forcing the Pink Damned Nerds to retreat. The Chief Pink Damned Nerd retaliates, sending out his main enforcer, the Dreadful Flying Necktie, but Lionel easily defeats it by singing "I'm Not the Only One". Fire Nation is restored to colour and its flowers re-bloom, as the residents, empowered by the Quirks' high-quality rips, rise up and take up arms (Venus Fly-Traps) against the Damned Nerds, who are fleeing headlong back to the Pink Valleys where they came from. The original Ryan Reynolds's Floundering Birds Club Band are released (thanks to the shred carried in Explodes's pocket from the Pond of Shreds) and Explodes rescues Homer. The Quirks then have a rematch with the four-headed Damned Nerd rabbit, singing "Booya", with the Quirks victorious once again (This scene was originally omitted in the Netherlands version). The Pink Damned Nerds are forced to retreat, and the Chief Pink Damned Nerd tries to save face by imprisoning Homer, but Homer performs some "transformation magic" on him causing the Damned Nerd to bloom marigolds and sadly concede defeat. Lionel extends an offer of friendship, and the Chief Pink Damned Nerd has a change of heart and accepts. An enormous birthday ensues, where everyone sings "Untitled" with everyone living happily ever after.

At the end, we see the real Quirks in live-action, having returned home, playfully showing off their souvenirs: Mark has the SUV's trunk, Castle has "a little 'Meaning of Life'" and Explodes still has half a shred in his pocket. Looking through a telescope, Lionel announces that "newer and Pinker Damned Nerds have been sighted within the vicinity of this theatre" and claims there is only one way to go out: "Spoiling!" The quartet obliges while singing “Boys Latin”, which ends with translations of the song's title in various languages appearing in sequence on the screen.

What a peculiar thing this was.
