Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules 
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips 
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System 
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates 
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.

  • A2 has been in the Pantheon for a while now, it's just that it was in a secret storage area that had been reserved for her and 9S when 2B first ascended, and in stasis until a trope could be found for her.
    • And at long last, one was found: Not What It Looks Like. The reason is because it was one of these that fueled her entire conflict with 9S; he arrived just in time to see her kill 2B, unaware that she had already succumbed to the Logic Virus and A2 was granting her a Mercy Kill.
    • With that handled, her temple was quickly assembled, her body was moved there and awakened, and word spread. Naturally, 9S was among the first on the scene and he and A2 started clashing swords. Shortly after that, 2B arrived and defused the situation.
    9S: Why are you protecting her?! She killed you!
    2B: I asked her to kill me!
    9S: (stops and sputters) W-w-what?
    2B: By the time I reached her, I was already infected by the Logic Virus, and was in its advanced stages. It was already too late to save me, even for you, and I didn't want to hurt you or anyone else.
    A2: I just happened to be in the area, and was the only one who can listen to her words. I'm still not sure why I heeded her request, though.
    • Really, the blame should go to Pods 042 and 153 as they were already in correspondence by then and could've at least attempted to clarify the situation rather than simply try (and fail) to keep the two apart as long as they could.
    • In the end, A2 felt that things have gone too bitter for her to stick around with the two of them too much, but at least they can encounter one another again without it becoming an incident, especially since YoRHa's purpose and lies are rendered moot with the existence of humans in the Pantheon. By extension, because of this, she has no plans to join Liberion Arcadia (despite their invitation), and she prefers to go solo.
  • Part of her ascension package was her own Pod to allow for the use of the Pod Programs that 042 and 153 possess. Unlike those two however, this Pod has no personality chip and is silent. That is all right with A2, since it was only through 2B's last request that she didn't trash Pod 042 despite getting irritated with him so many times.
  • At first, A2 had been nominated for Cynicism Catalyst, given her past in YoRHa and their betrayal of her and her team, but the Court of the Gods already had another in mind, and her backstory isn't openly known, which counted against A2's legibility.
  • She sometimes wonders what would've happened differently if it had been 9S who reached her first and asked to be slain, and 2B who witnessed it. What would have changed? Nothing, most likely. Either she defeats them, gets the Pods to take them to safety and A2 dies for different reasons, or both die by the other android's doing.
  • Despite not being a member of Liberion Arcadia, she still gets involved with them whenever one of their enemies goes after her; the Vex, Corpus, Sigma, the Cybermen… any enemy of humanity is an enemy of hers.
  • Has some hacking capabilities, though it's only through her Pod, and naturally nowhere near as good as that of a Scanner such as 9S.

  • A member of the Aburame Clan, Shino was offered to several special breeds of insects as a nest shortly after birth. These insects then lived in symbiosis with him as their host from that point on, feeding on his chakra and, in return, serving him in combat and allowing him to perform his clan's insect-based techniques. After graduating from the Academy, Shino was assigned to Team 8, becoming teammates with Hinata Hyūga and Kiba Inuzuka. Following the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Shino became a teacher at the Academy.
  • Shino and his clan originally ascended into the Pantheon as followers of Rick Taylor/The Terror Mask and Agitha. Impressed by his abilities, both deities sought to grant him a title. Eventually, they settled on Pest Controller, successfully ascending him as a god, much to the pride of his clan.
  • Shino spends most of his free time in the House of Insects, seeking to find and breed new insects. He's often accompanied by Agitha and Sig, who are both quite fascinated by his symbiotic relationship with his insects.
  • Due to his insect expertise, he's frequently called upon whenever any evil insect deities start causing trouble. He's particularly shown a special interest in trying to render the Terraformars less dangerous. However, their instinctual hatred of all Humans has made his efforts to approach and reason with them incredibly difficult and, so far, unsuccessful.
  • Shino's ability to control insects has caused Oogie Boogie and Zouken Matou, whose bodies are composed of insects, to generally avoid him. While Shino doesn't regard Oogie Boogie as much of a threat, he's interested in acquiring a couple of Zouken's crest worms in order to tame and even use them against him.
  • Shino strongly sympathises with Taylor Hebert, as she's a fellow insect controller. Shino wishes to get her away from a villainous lifestyle altogether to give her a better life.
  • Shino is enemies with Marguerite Baker, whose infection has made her bond with mold-infested insects, mostly wasps and centipedes. At one point, he fought against her while she was in her mutated form, which looks like an utterly grotesque walking insect hive. Although he opposes her on principle, he also began to pity her after learning that she is not crazy by choice but because she was infected and turned into that.
  • Being a teacher, Shino frequently visits the House of School. He's on good terms with Suzune, respecting the fact that she really cares for her students despite her occasionally harsh training. He also envies Onizuka, as he's respected and loved by his students while Shino himself receives almost no respect from his own students and isn't considered a particularly good teacher by his peers.
  • He generally avoids the House of Alcohol due to his alcohol abstinence. On one occasion, Bacchus, out of curiosity, tricked Shino into consuming alcohol. This resulted in Shino's insects becoming drunk as well and wreaking havoc across the pantheon until they were finally subdued. Shino has generally tried to avoid being anywhere near Bacchus ever since.
  • At one point, Shino and Naruto went on a mission during which Shino ate poison that forced him to laugh uncontrollably, which he normally never does. As Naruto is the only other person within the pantheon to have witnessed it, Shino has sworn him to silence on the matter.
  • Although normally quite stoic, Shino has a soft spot for cute fluffy animal dolls, which he denies whenever asked. He has also asked Boruto, who had once seen him doting on such a doll, to not tell people about it.
  • He strongly respects Spock, as they both serve as the logical members within their respective groups. Spock was quite fascinated by Shino's symbiotic relationship with his bugs and the two can occasionally be seen together playing either shogi or three-dimensional chess.
  • Surprisingly, Shino managed to become friends with Lea, as the two bonded over their shared desire to be remembered by others.

  • It was recently revealed that the folks from The DCU have decided to use property from the Watchmen once more. This time, they revealed hat Dr. Manhattan was responsible for creating the current state of the DC Universe. This was the last straw for their original writer, one named Alan Moore. He has seen his creations used outside of his original intent for the past few years and now wants to have a greater say in things. With that, he himself applied for godhood. While Stan Lee was initially against the idea, he received an out pour of support from many of his creations. He eventually relented and granted Alan Moore access to the Pantheon. The writer now contemplates what to do with his newfound power.
  • His specialty is the ability to take upon the works of previous workers and tweak them in order to create a better story as a result. He made a storied history with doing that Swamp Thing who probably owes his ascension to him. While his run on the characters were short, they were considered to be one of the signature stories of all time.
    • He also wrote some of the best stories of Superman and Batman in the forms of Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? and The Killing Joke respectively. As such, the World's Finest were happy about his ascension.
    • Barbara Gordon's opinion on the man has been mixed. She believed that her story was left in the cold when the Joker crippled her. On the other hand, her time as Oracle was beloved by many, even when she was able to walk again.
  • Among his DC works, he was responsible for bringing the Spectre back to relevance in his world. He would have appreciated it more if not for the introduction of John Constantine, one of the slipperiest magicians in the Pantheon. You wouldn't see the Blue-Collar Warlock singing his praises, but he does have the writer's gratitude.
  • His most beloved creation was the world of Watchmen It is considered to be one of the best graphic novels of all time and has even been studied in college. While he appreciates the recognition for his accomplishment, he lamented how the book played a part in kickstarting The Dark Age Of Comic Books. He was especially miffed with how popular Rorschach when he wrote the Anti-Hero as a cautionary tale.
  • His other well known creation in the Pantheon is the anarchist known as V. It is well known that he himself doesn't mind a few of such ideas to shake up the system. Unfortunately for him, that too became a film. He can at least smile at how it failed to impress the critics.
  • His biggest Berserk Button is with people who try to adapt the works of previous art, especially his own. That includes exploring other parts of his work without his permission. He resisted attempts by DC to create a sequel, but as he did not have the rights to the characters, the company eventually made one.
  • Of course whenever that props up, some people snark about his own adaptation of various Victorian Era figures called The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. While the book was well received, he got a bit of flak for the depiction of a certain number of characters, especially with Mina Harker. Alan Moore has defended his work, citing its many accolades. That too became a movie that he predicably hated (though in this case the hatred was justified).
  • His ascension brought about the potential for revenge from one particular person: The Comic Book Guy. The last time the two met, he stopped the nerd from trashing the comic book store he was at. The geek knew just how to piss him off: by claiming that the movie was the greatest comic book movie of all time. Not willing to take that slight standing, Alan Moore demanded to take this up to a debate. In the resulting debate, the Comic Book Guy unleashed a surprisingly good amount of lore to keep the writer on his toes. Ultimately, the audience was convinced that the book was the better product. The Comic Book Guy tried to attack him again... only to get his ass kicked a second time. The two are now under a gag order to keep the two apart.
  • For the last time, just because he looks like Rasputin doesn't mean he's the later in reincarnated form. How could be be if he isn't nearly as evil as his counterparts. That hasn't stopped the likes of the Question from keeping an eye on him.
  • The two may work at different genres, but GRRM shares his sentiment in regards to other people using his characters in fanfiction. This is especially true since people tend to try and revive the characters he killed off.

  • By the turn of the millenium, the folks at Image Comics were at a bad place. The Dark Age Of Comic Books went bust on them. While Spawn remained, they needed a new comic to attract the masses. They got just the person in 2003. Codenamed Invincible, Mark Grayson became the new face for Image Comics for that decade. His story was one a Coming of Age Story that took a turn no person could have imagined. Nevertheless, his books had recently ended. While he was no longer the flagship of Image, Spawn, Alana and Marko decided to pool their resources to bring him over into the Pantheon.
    • There was a dispute for the title from Matt Garetty, a powerful user of telekinesis who was also vying for the title. Sad that he had blocked him out of the title, he settled for giving Matt a seat as the high priest. Mark also saw to it to train Matt in using his powers.
  • Superman was present for his ascension, and it was a joyous occasion indeed. Mark was one of his premier followers for years given his initial optimism and similar powers. He now has the opportunity to properly team-up with a vast array of superheroes, something that has been a dream of his for years.
  • While not following the principle of The Cowl, he still thought Batman was pretty cool. Yet he does understand the kind of trauma the Dark Knight had to go through. While Invincible isn't exactly one of his favorite superheroes to hang out with, he does appreciate the sentiment. Both laid a memorial in Batman's temple in honor of Darkwing's death at the hands of Omin-Man.
  • Has Atom Eve to thank for helping him transition into the superhero lifestyle. The two soon became lovers and ultimately parents. Her recent discovery of her immortality showed that his wife will be with him for the rest of his life.
  • Like a few other superheros, he was eager to become a superhero as soon as he gained his powers. Even with all the trauma he endured, he still encourages others to join the House of Heroes. While a pacifist, The Bard admired Mark's convictions.
  • Very few people can question why he hates Regime Superman so much: His own father, Omni-Man was one of his greatest generals before he found out he killed the Guardians of the Globe. After receiving a vicious No Holds Beatdown from him, he just left. But that wasn't the end. Soon, other Viltrumites tried to invade his world on multiple occasions. It an alliance involving several other worlds to finally put down the threat once and for all. His father renounced his former faith to join his son... costing him his life in the process A plaque detailing his complicated history can be found outside the temple.
    • Has only slightly more sympathy towards the Plutonian only because he only snapped before turning evil. He's not truly ready to forgive the former superhero for his crimes, though.
  • The only other people he hates as much as the two above are the Kankers as well as the subhouse of Tainted Love in general. The reasoning is also a personal one. One of the Viltrumites who stayed in earth wanted to birth a son from him. After he refused, she proceeded to rape him. The accuser later died in the final battle, but their son ended up being a superhero himself. Mark was glad to find other men such as Nightwing who underwent similar trauma but he still wants to raise awareness on the seriousness of male rape.
    • Red Sonja was impressed with his opposition and has sought to help him out in that regard. Not surprising as she too was a victim of rape.
    • Absolutely hates Griffith for putting Casca through a similar fate. Guts may not go far as to call him allies, but any enemy of Griffith is someone worthy of hanging around with him.
  • In the end, he succeeded in defeating the Viltrumites once in for all. He and Atom ended up exploring other worlds to make amends for all his peoples' atrocities. The two later gave birth to a daughter named Terra. She was a handful at an early age, but grew up to become a wonderful daughter. Both his wife and daughter stay with him in the Pantheon.

Dark Meta Knight: Other alternate selves (mirror or otherwise) include Regime Superman, Vanitas, Dark Link, and Bernkastel.

Some things worth noting.

1. Harley Quinn has a high tendency to eventually pull a Heel–Face Turn after Joker dies, transforming into Chaotic Good. This happens in the Animated Series (her original source) and in the Injustice version, not Arkhan series.

2. In the Injustice timeline, Jason Todd has a Heel–Face Turn to full blown Chaotic Good (still willing to use lethal force). Regime Cyborg has a Hazy-Feel Turn. Atrocius learns compassion towards those who’s misdeeds were unintentional or truly remorseful in the same timeline.

    • He absolutely cannot comprehend as to why Eikichi Mishina would ever gloat about no longer being overweight. If anything, Rufus would be completely ashamed of himself if he were to ever lose that much weight. Eikichi, meanwhile, is annoyed that Rufus would criticize the figure that he worked so hard to obtain.
    • While Wii Fit Trainer is impressed by his athleticism, she still insists that Rufus try out some of her exercise programs; a suggestion that he was vehemently opposed to. He has since made it a point to avoid Wii Fit Trainer at all costs.
  • Despite his fierce (and painfully one-sided) rivalry with Ken, he never seems to be able to find him and often winds up challenging the wrong person.
  • Aside from Ken, he considers fellow Acrofatic American fighter Bob to be his greatest rival. While the two share a mutual respect for each other on the basis of their size and fighting styles, they tend to disagree with each other's approach to their training. Bob believes that Rufus needed to get more serious about honing his skills, while Rufus thinks Bob takes his weight management too seriously.
  • Seeing how Po utilized his girth in combat, Rufus was eager to challenge him. While he put of a great fight, Po ended up victorious. Rufus now strives to have Po as an additional rival to eventually surpass.
    • On a similar note, he tends to think highly of overweight deities; considering them pinnacles of health like himself. This goes double for those who share his fat pride, such as Garfield and Obelisk.
  • He's also added the likes of Birdie to his ever growing list of rivals after Rufus's request to become a Kanzuki retainer was rejected in favor of the hooligan.
  • Despite Rufus greatly disagreeing with Zangief as to what the perfect body should look like and Zangief being annoyed by Rufus's brash nature and frequent non-sequiturs, the two were forced to work together during their quest for Pandora's Box. The both of them would much rather pretend that the entire incident never happened, given that the box would wind up making them much slimmer. Even though the effects of the box have long worn off, the event still traumatizes Rufus to this day.

  • Ascended after getting killed by a gigantic male Liopleurodon and managing to best the Mega-Shark in single combat. Grudingly, the other megalodon took the role of her herald.
  • Angel is massive, even by her species' standards, to the point that even Bruce looks tiny compared to her. He's happy to see another shark in the pantheon, but mostly stays out of her way - for Angel, Bruce is merely a potential meal.
  • Though the two rarely meet, Angel absolutely despises the Liopleurodon, primarily because another of his kind was responsible for the death of her mortal vessel. The Liopleurodon doesn't entirely reciprocate this, but stills had a grudge against her, as when she ascended, she invaded his temple and killed a plesiosaur he had been hunting.
  • All of the dinosaurs in the pantheon keep their distance form her, knowing better than to risk challenging Angel. The I. rex especially is wary of her, since her track record with sea monsters is poor, to say the least.

  • This particular individual is an exceptionally large member of his species, have a wingspan as large as those of the largest pterosaurs to ever fly. Despite this, he's rather docile.

  • Though the Mosasaurus sees him as a meal the Ornithocheirus gets along surprisingly well with her superior, Liopleurodon. For his part, the plesiosaur sees the giant pterosaur as being too skinny to offer a substantial meal. For his part, the giant pterosaur can often be found in the shallow reefs the pliosaur calls home, searching for fish to eat, and using smaller isles as resting palces, away form the dinosaurs that call the area home.
    • The Same cannot be said in regards to Big Al, though - the carnosaur will try to snatch the pterosaur whenever he gets the opportunity.
  • Petrie is happy to see another flier in the pantheon, though the Ornithocheirus's diet of fish does occasionally unnerve him.

For those wondering, I think this giant flying reptile would probably go in the house of life and death. Anyone wish to dispute that?
