Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those charactersโ€™ importance to the Pantheonโ€™s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their seriesโ€™ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that charactersโ€™ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a characterโ€™s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the websiteโ€™s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokรฉmon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokรฉmon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokรฉmon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokรฉmon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I think Sayaka can be reworked with Dying Clue. Unless there is a trope concerning her "betrayal" or something like that.

Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, Goddesses of Tertiary Sexual Characteristics (Minnie: Minerva Mouse, Min, Daisy: Dazzles, Daisy O'Dare, Secret Spy Daisy, Paperinika)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/minnie_daisy_friends2.gif
Left: Daisy, Right: Minnie
  • Exclusive to Daisy:
    • Not many know this, but before Daisy was Donald's love interest, there was another prior: Donna Duck. Not much is known as to what happened to her since then, but it is known that she already has a new boyfriend in Donald's distant cousin Whitewater.
    • Unlike Donald, to everyone's puzzlement and relief, Daisy voice isn't unintelligible.
    • She enjoys fashion and shopping above all else and, although well-bred and sophisticated when she wants to be, can be a bit eccentric and overbearing at times. As such, one can often find her shopping for clothes or exploring the House of Costumes.
    • While she gets along with all of the Disney Princesses, Daisy has particular fondness for Ariel, at least while working at the House of Mouse.
    • There are those who wonder how healthy exactly her and Donald's relationship are, given that when he once lost his memory of her and became an excellent singer, when given the choice of getting him back or letting him keep his fame, she picked the selfish choice. Oh, and there's her brief humorous suicidal moments during Donald's amnesiac fame as a singer. Daisy's only reply is that they've moved on from that phase since then.
    • In the House Of Mouse, she serves as the club's reservation clerk. Like Donald, she craves the spotlight and constantly asks Mickey to perform, which he usually denies. On emergencies when she does perform, it's often hated by the audience, but only to the Disney cast. While there, it can be seen that she's a big fan of Ariel.
      • Don't mention the time where she practiced sorcery once and accidentally made the House of Mouse and all its guests disappear. Apparently, it also involved Jafar and Iago putting things back to normal, which explains why she's tight-beaked on the details.
    • Seems to be currently unaware of her boyfriend's escapades as Paperinik, and nobody who knows of it has thought to tell her.
      • Turns out she actually has a vigilante identity just like him called Paperinika and while she lacks powers, she has some martial arts and is a gadgeteer.

Anton definitely looks like Regenerator now that i take a closer look to him.

There's bound to be a comparison to Zouken Matou, both Immortality Seekers that prolong their life by using bodies. There is an irony that Anton seems to be more content with being a rotten flesh monster than Zouken as that frivolous old man he is.

Too bad we don't have anyone from The Eric Andre Show because those are the kind of guys who would be friends with Pipimi and Popuko.

I guess Filthy Frank comes close to their style of humour, but he is kinda of a dickbag so i don't know if they would be friends or not.

3 [tup]s (Faso, RJ, Aerial) Day 1 Ascension Date: April 21

The Ancestor: "In those younger years my home was a hive of unbridled hedonism, a roiling apiary where instinct and impulse were indulged with wild abandon."

The Crimson Court, Profaned Villainous Aristocracy

  • Potential Houses: Villainous Archetypes and Royal Personalities
  • Lesser Deities
  • Symbol: The Crimson Curse Symbol
  • Theme Song: Bloodletting of the Crimson Court
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: I'm a Humanitarian, The Thirst transforms them, Feigned class and humanity, Weak to bleeding, Vampires based around parasites, Body Horror, Roaming Enemies, Acquired Poison Immunity, Drips of their blood "enlightens" others
  • Monster Types: Gatekeepers, Supplicants, Sycophants, Manservants, Esquires, Courtesans, Chevaliers
  • Domains: Debauchery, Vampirism, Nobility, Blood
  • Allies: Dracula, Carmilla, Mira Fallegeros, Vanilla Ice, Dio Brando, Lionel Starkweather, Leatherface, Pudge, the Butcher, the Bakers, the Flesh Eaters
  • Enemies: The Ancestor, the Hunter, Maya Fallegeros, Buffy Summers, the Dragonborn, The Joestars and the Zeppelis, Rudol von Stroheim, Blade, the Belmonts, Alexander Anderson, virtuous vampires, the rest of the House of Food, Vampire Hunters in general, Carmine, Eliza, Skarlet, Jedah Dohma, Batman, Jak and Daxter, good-aligned House of Royalty members, the Nature Preservers, Emperor Calus, Geralt of Rivia, Ms. Fortune, Dorothea, Night Raid, Akame
  • Avoid: Holy sites like those in the House of Faith, Esidisi and Pillar Men in general
  • Opposed by: Most of the other members within the House of Slaughter
  • Before the Darkest Dungeon, before the utterly careless acts, the Ancestor was another hedonist among the high self-indulgent society. In those days, he was not above murdering his fellow noblemen for sport but it says something when he was disturbed and disgusted by their collective depravity. The feelings weren't enough to call them out on such actions, such a thing would be hypocritical given his unsaintly nature and he wasn't willing to stop his own indulgence either. One night, a woman caught his attention amidst the other guests. Under the moon, he would kill her for sport but she would attempt to kill him first revealing her hideous form. The Ancestor survived, and in that moment he decided to serve her blood to the guests of the party, a literal Bloody Mary if you will. When the parasites masked by nobility downed it their description took a more literal turn and devoured eachother in newfound bloodlust. The Ancestor meanwhile, only took a sip but it was all it took to enlighten him of something hidden under his Estate. Abandoning the Courtyard, things soon spiraled down from there...
  • It would be a lie to say that their ascension was their first time in the Pantheon itself. Having been a side-effect of the Ancestor's ascension, many bloodsuckers slipped under his and other adventurers noses to the House of Slaughter. Seeing all the blood and flesh, it was a dream made manifest, and they swarmed the place in just a short amount of time. Such an experience can only be described as an extravagant rapture. In time, they were cast out but they came back to the Pantheon in the House of Villains and Royalty when old gates marked by a couple of blood drained bodies appeared one day. Both serve as extensions to the Courtyard in the Ancestor's Estate, greatly enlarging the place as a result of their godhood. Entering it still requires one to have an invitation of your own from a willing Gatekeeper.
    • The Courtyard became a mire after the noblemen were afflicted, the skies wreathed in a red Bloodlight that drowns out all other light. Other sources do work, but their sanctuary is fleeting in the oppressive atmosphere. The whole garden is infested and corrupted by the Crimson Curse exemplified by the architecture now decaying into the murky Earth, red boils clustering, and the place is in perpetual fog. If one is not being stung, cut, or bitch slapped by vampiric aristocrats you could easily as well be mauled by the Crocodilian or be smitten under the hateful watch of the Garden Guardian. The residents seem to be keen on spreading such a curse to other places, something the Nature Preservers are vehemently against.
The Ancestor: "Soaked and sinking, these stone terraces and sprawling gardens are the site of long forgotten revelry...and well remembered regret."
  • In their echelons, there are three bloodsuckers that stand out. Defeating them is one way of ridding oneself of the Crimson Curse, although not an immunity.
    • First is the Baron, a sadistic torturer who serves as an entertainer to the Court in both lives. For that reason he always fights in front of his fellow noblemen and hides in various eggs that nullify and sort of healing. Despite not being as large as the Viscount, he can surprisingly take a lot more damage in addition to utilizing his whip-like appendages. Though at the end of the day, he's not that much of a fighter as he relies on his durability and trickery to face his potential victims. He among other Bloodsuckers, thanks to the help of Lionel Starkweather, broke into the House of Theater were he broadcasted his special festivities to those he captured beforehand and those who are trying to stop them. Lucas Baker took notice and decided it would be best to partner up.
The Ancestor: "It would seem his tasteful frivolity remains unabated, even now."
    • Then there's the Viscount. Defined by his gluttony, he'll eat just about anything. And we do mean anything, even his fellow noblemen. In fact, eating serves as a way for him to heal up if he's not setting up counters. Even before his tastes took a turn for the worse, he would devour any and all food even if they spoiled long since then. Probably why he's one of the few deities able to stomach Margarite Baker's cooking. His taste in food also garnered allies with Leatherface, Pudge, the Butcher, and the Flesh Eaters. They're planning on making one grand feast for the Pantheon, the planned site being in the House of Royalty. The House is trying to prevent the plan from taking place.
The Ancestor: "The glutton's taste for morbidity is made more pronounced by his mutation."
    • Lastly is the Countess. It was her blood that produced the rest of the Court and her actions that caused the Ancestor to ruin, well, everything. Undoubtedly, her affliction has reached a later stage as she's much larger and more dangerous than when the Ancestor retaliated against her. The Countess is gargantuan, and the horror from her more grotesque form is enough to snap minds like twigs. Though, the Countess is vulnerable when trying to transform it, giving others the opportunity to wail on her. At some point, her blood was found in a couple dishes in the House of Food. Who laced it is unknown, but it caused a lot of havoc before the victims were soon restrained and cured.
The Ancestor: "A bewitching predator slipped in amidst the swarm of tittering sycophants. Though outwardly urbane, I could sense in her a mocking thirst."
  • They quickly found out they aren't the only vampires around here and their fold quickly went to the House of Vampires. They all greatly revere Dracula, and are eager to assist him in his schemes and are quick to ally with Dio, Vanilla Ice, Mira, and Carmilla as well. They're welcome to indulge in their festivities any time. They were surprised that Carmilla did try to interact with them prior to their ascension but couldn't because of all the difficulties of trying to get to them, namely the adventurers and the non-discriminant horrors that also lurk in the Estate. Some deities theorize she may have something to do with their ascension, although no evidence backs up that claim.
  • Because they are quite capable of spreading their contagion, the Ancestor wasted no time in notifying his clients and others of their threat. The Hunter and Stroheim wasted no time in combating them, slaughtering them or turning them into swiss cheese respectively. The Joestars and Zeppelis were also quick to oppose the Court given their own experiences with the Stone Masks. While it's true they are different from the vampires of their world such as (probably) not being weak to sunlight, that hasn't really stopped them from facing the nobles. Buffy, Blade, Geralt, the Dragonborn, Maya, Alexander Anderson, and the Belmonts caught wind of their existence during their visits in the Vampires house and are also willing to bring down the vile blue bloods.
    • Of course, those who've had experiences with the dark sides of the upper class have a bone to pick with them as well. Batman is a persistent threat, having fought against the Court of Owls before, and his plans are valuable in stopping one of their more restless activity. The Court are annoyed at first, but soon laugh it off as they are interested in turning him into one of them after hearing of that time he became a vampire himself. Jak and Daxter are also thorns in their side due to their experiences with Baron Praxis, Count Veger and Duke Skyheed. Unlike the Caped Crusader, the Court only views them as but common riff raff though Jak's royal blood did improve their opinion if only a tiny bit.
    • Emperor Calus was swift in that he was quick to showing his utter distaste of their existence after their ascension. Not only arr they can utter corruption of his philosophy and lifestyle, but the fact they disgusted the Ancestor even back then is another ballpark in of itself. He made sure his Loyalists would make short work of any Bloodsucker that so much as be nearby.
The Ancestor: "These nightmarish creatures CAN be felled. They CAN be beaten!"
  • The House of Health and Diseases have attempted to create an immunity for the Crimson Curse, although the Ancestor bluntly stated that the curse cannot be prevented by normal medicines, only cured. There are two ways in trying to cure it: Either you go ahead and slay the more monstrous entities among the Court's ranks or you procure a mysterious cure from killing the Fanatic. You don't go around finding the mad Vampire Hunter, though. If you're afflicted or are with those who are he'll come finding you. Speaking of, ever since the Crimson Court's ascension, encounters with him have drastically increased.
The Ancestor: "A world view buttressed by dogmatic desperation invariably leads to single-minded fanaticism, and a need to do terrible things in the name of righteousness."
  • Users of blood in their combat are quick to dislike them as well, the Court only seeing glorified blood fountains. They are known to assault them whenever they can such as Carmine, Eliza, Skarlet, and Jedah Dohma. Granted, none of them are in the spectrum of good so the Court gets a pass here save for Carmine who's more of a Wild Card than anything. And speaking of blood fountains, their attention caught wind of Nadia Fortune after hearing of Eliza's plans to turn her into one too.
  • Though hallowed items like holy water could do some damage, the best results come from things that really make the parasites bleed. They hold a special enmity to those who are capable of either. Likely why they stay away from the more holier parts of the House of Faith and outright any contact with Akujiki. Or why they outright despise Dorothea of the Wild Hunt. She shares the same sentiments after the Countess herself was gracious enough to give the alchemist a "Love Letter".
    • Taking advantage of their Blood Lust is also something to take note of. If they have no problems lacing food or sources of water with their own blood, it would be wise to return the favor. Such as when Esidisi was attacked by the Coourt but he easily goaded them into accepting his blood, of which he ignited and promptly burned them all from the inside out. The rest of their kind avoid the Pillar Men whenever they can while they in turn find the aristocrats too wild to be any of use to them.
    • Inversely, their resistance to poisons and venom is strong and you're better off using that on other horrors you encounter in the Courtyard. They don't mind the conditions in the House of Toxicity. One exception to this rule is with Akame's Murasame after she along with the rest of Night Raid decided to incapacitate the Baron. Though they still die from its curse, they somehow manage to live slightly longer than others.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

At last, The Sensational Six are all together once again. note

I'm doing a rework on the FE Fates siblings, and I'd like some feedback on same-voice interactions. I know that not all of them can be viable, but I'd at least like some feedback. So here's a list of voices and characters I'm thinking of.

Up next is Camilla.

Cyrus, God of "Block Kuzushi" Games

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyrus01.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His wand
  • Theme Song: Cyrus's Theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, but can fall to Neutral Evil in a different ending
  • Portfolio: Breaking Out, Becoming A Hyper-Destructive Bouncing Ball, Mana Pool For Casting Spells, Fireball Spell, Alter Spell, Control Spell, Can Speak to Dogs
  • Domain(s): Magic, Wands, Blocks
  • "High Priests": The Breakout paddle, the Vaus
  • Followers: the Shatter bat, the prince and princess in Bad Omen as well as their blue sphere, Mr. Chin and Marcus
  • Allies: Sackboy, all other benevolent wizards in the Pantheon
  • Enemies: All evil possessors, demons, skeletal beings, and other kinds of monsters
  • Avoided by: The Kid
  • Pities: Ice King
  • Finding a representative for Breaking Out was a hard task, given that there's barely a plot that can be feasibly made with such a game type. The Trope Maker and Trope Codifier were a simple paddle and an Escape Pod/scout ship respectively, so choosing them won't be feasible. Then came Cyrus, a wizard who has mastered a secret magic art called Wizorb. After demonstrating his abilities to the Court of the Gods after they called for him, they decided to ascend him.
    • His "temple" is a bit of a mishmash given his followers and the trope he represents. Paddles and balls unaffected by gravity are abundant, there're services that provide him with his power-ups and magic, and aside from himself, there are only four humans who "follow" him.
  • Cyrus is often traveling, looking for places that need aid, and going adventuring to earn cash to pay for repair jobs to get them back on their feet. For inexplicable reasons, due to his title, any area he goes to that has monsters or is otherwise a place for adventurers to go becomes a rectangular area with destructible square shapes (crates, hedges, stones), indestructible blocks, and a few treasure chests. These (save the indestructible blocks) all need to be cleared before he can proceed. Also, he turns (or encases?) himself into the titular Wizorb to break them (and beat up monsters), relying on his wand to bounce him back and forth.
    • While he certainly has the skills to handle these on his own, he's come to appreciate other adventurers he comes across in the Pantheon whenever they join him, who allow him to clear the "stages" faster by destroying blocks, conjuring barriers or using their shields/weapons for his Wizorb to bounce off of, or even manipulate the Wizorb itself (its properties don't allow for physical contact) directly or indirectly (like winds, water, the ground, etc.). There's also a certain charm in having an aged wizard like him in their party.
      • One exception is the Kid, who's had bad experiences in his kind of environment. Even if the fields Cyrus is involved in are of a different two dimensions, being a One-Hit-Point Wonder with a peashooter doesn't do him any favors.
    • As such, a lot of his earnings go to helping the House of Craft, since the House itself is constantly being rebuilt.
      • One such repair job he's accepted to pay for is for the Think Tank after recent experiments or after said facilities moved on their own. The first time they requested help which he provided funding for was in the aftermath of Null Sector's siege on the Big MT after Dr. 0 dismantled a couple of their members.
      • Among friends he's made in the House of Craft is Sackboy, who sometimes has levels that fit perfectly for Cyrus to practice his art.
  • His art of Wizorb is a point of interest for other spellcasters in the Pantheon, though only as a novelty since many find it somewhat impractical. That said, Cyrus does have other spells in his arsenal, so it's not like Wizorb is all he can do.
  • Having fought the skeletal Demon King in his adventure, Cyrus has a dim opinion on demons, skeletal beings, and those who practice possession magic. The fact that there're houses dedicated to the first two ticks him off quite a bit.
  • Is averse to crowns or any other kinds of treasure for sale ever since the House of Prophecy showed a path he could've taken had he bought it; he would've turned to the dark side out of greed. In fact, he may collect all the money he wants, but he'll never purchase any personal treasures; most of his money goes to building repairs (and maybe renovations, too).
    • Having befallen a crown-related problem, he pities the Ice King's own situation given what it's done to the identity known as Simon Petrikov.
  • Wants nothing to do with the other Cyrus in the Pantheon. His plot makes him far worse than the Demon King. Though Hareta redeeming him is starting to color his opinion of the Team Galactic leader a bit differently.
  • Has a soft spot for children, given he's had to rescue the Four Sacred Children of Tarot Village.

I hadn't thought of Bob Team Epic / Bobunemimimi, but then, I don't really like those segments. Maybe I'm an art snob? : < As for Filthy Frank, I don't know much about him, but what little I saw and heard of him made me not wanna watch his stuff... Probably why I didn't think of him either.

All that being said, lemme see...

Popuko and Pipimi, Goddesses of Japanese 4-Panel Comics

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/14579_eyecatch.jpg
Pipimi on the left, Popuko on the right
  • Potential House: Forms of Media (Craft)
  • Ranks vary (usually influenced by whatever would be funniest)
  • Symbol: A very detailed hand Flipping the Bird; alternatively, their deceptively cute faces
  • Theme Song: Pop Team Epic's opening theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, with shades of Evil
  • Portfolio: Big Girl, Little Girl; Perpetual Cat Smile; Curtains Match the Window (downplayed); Hair Decorations; Red Oni, Blue Oni; Vocal Dissonance (sometimes)
  • Domains: Parody, 4koma, Wrath, Video Games, Manga, Anime
  • Allies: Deadpool
  • Enemies: "Subculture bitches"
  • Feared by: Deities that often terrify others (Popuko, mostly)
  • Admires: Godzilla, Jaws (Popuko)
  • Unknown Relationship with: Mike Haggar
  • The Court of the Gods were a bit reluctant to ascend Popuko and Pipimi, but as they couldn't find any better representatives for the 4koma format, they decided to ascend the two, for better or worse.
  • To the confusion of many deities, Popuko and Pipimi never have the same voice. One day they'll sound like men, and others they'll sound like girls or even full-grown women. No one's bothered to find out why, and some are even afraid to know.
  • So vicious is Popuko's temper that even many of the most terrifying deities — like Freddy Kreuger and Bruce — are scared of her! Exceptions are few and far between...
  • Popuko has been banned from performing on stage in the Houses of Music and Theater due to her stint as a pop star in one timeline that ended in herself and Pipimi taking over the world. Popuko angrily flipped both houses the bird when she was told this and walked away in a huff.
  • If you buy merchandise for a series, game, etc. that you don't watch or play, stay far away from these two, especially Popuko! That's the behavior of what they call a "subculture bitch".
  • When Popuko is put next to the most evil or vile of demonic entities in the pantheon — like the Chaos Gods, Nyarlathatotep, or Melkor — most (if not all) holy figures view her as the greater evil and seek to exorcise her.
  • In at least one timeline, the girls apparently unknowingly influenced Mike Haggar, giving him the strength to run for mayor. No one knows if the Haggar in the Pantheon is from that timeline; neither Popuko nor Pipimi would know, and if Haggar does know anything, he's tight-lipped about it.
  • Popuko has expressed a fondness for Godzilla, calling him "Daddy". Unlike the Godzilla-like Kaiju the girls once ran into, the King of the Monsters expressed mild confusion. Nonetheless, he doesn't seem bothered by Popuko, and even lets her ride on his tail or his head. Some deities commented that it's...strangely cute.
    • Similarly, Popuko isn't even slightly scared of Bruce the shark, and even wants to play with him. Bruce, however, is terrified of her (as previously mentioned), and retreats into the deeper water whenever she approaches the shore, to her disappointment and annoyance.
  • In Deadpool, they found a kindred spirit. They hadn't expected to meet someone as insane and aware of the fourth wall as them, well, anywhere, but his antics match their own fairly well. True, there are notable differences between them (including visual style), but at the core of it, he's not so different from them. Don't be surprised to see the three of them hanging out and causing trouble.
  • There are some moments when they are REALLY weirdly drawneven POORLY drawn. These are referred to as "Bob Team Epic" or "Bobunemimimi" moments by those who can see the fourth wall.

Can't think of any interactions with Filthy Frank. Is there anything else I should add to this?

Almost all of the the The King of Fighters members of the Pantheon reference Orochi from the House of Reptiles due to having the same name and mythological identity of KOF's own Orochi, yet the profile of Orochi itself contains absolutely no references to KOF!Orochi or any other incarnation of the mythical eight-headed serpent (such as the semi-comically-designed yet still very dangerous monster from Ranma ยฝ's Ryugenzawa arc). Is that deliberate, or just an oversight?

@Team Metal Slug:

  • Fio: Allies with the Cage family, as both come from wealthy military families; for Cassie, the former due to who her dad is, and the latter is in regards to her mom. As she's also Italian, she's friends with fellow SNK deity Robert Garcia and Rose.
  • Eri: Rumored to be a former student of Jill Valentine, as she is an expert in lockpicking. Jill neither confirms nor denies this. As she has a fondness for explosives (mainly grenades) Rolex to is seeking to recruit her into his army. Also friends with Maki Genryusai, Eikichi Onizuka and Kazuma Kiryu due to her past as a gang leader. Also has the 'Looks Caucasian, But Is Japanese' look going for her, which means she is at odds with Karin Kanzuki.
  • Marco: Allied with fellow Italian-American Rocky Balboa.
  • Tarma: Makes customized motorcycles in his spare time. So any deity who deals in bikes sometimes gets their bikes done by him in his off-time.

Should an example of Historical Hilarity be for someone who's often joked of in fiction? And if so, should they be sort of a Composite Character of the many times this trope was used on them? Which figure would be a good example of this trope?

Also, anyone interested in Dies Irae

And another post of VAs for the FE Fates siblings. This time, it's Elise. And it's actually very small this time.

Marco is actually based on Rambo. He isn't in yet but i will add an interaction between the two.

A month has gone by and i presented ideas for Brigitte a while back. There is The Squire (Her role in the story as Reinhardt's companion) or Shield Bash (A core mechanic of her kit that allows her to stun enemies. Also pretty OP ability)
