Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up][up] Honestly, I am not feeling neither of those tropes. Heck, in the case of the former, there IS a proper version of Zero in BN timeline.

I want to know if anyone has their own ideas for these tropes I have examples for already. They are Gravity Is Purple, Anthropomorphic Transformation, The Cobbler's Children Have No Shoes, Dirty Old Monk, Abandoned Pet in a Box

Dora Márquez, Goddess of Fake Interactivity

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dora_in_2018.png
Click here to see her in her adventures at Playa Verde
  • Allies: Spongebob Squarepants (being his former high priestess), other animal lovers and some deities in the Bestiary, Jack and Annie, Cream the Rabbit, Hilda (Hildafolk), Zack Morris, most non-evil child deities in general
  • Rivals:
  • Friendly Enemy: Swiper
  • One day, an anonymous request came to the Court of the Gods in the form of a video where an anonymous person was nominating someone. And for some reason, the person behaved as if the viewer was supposed to answer. Still, the Court saw the point and later brought the recommended character, Dora the Explorer, to the Pantheon.
  • Often addresses an unseen subject at times. Those with special visions usually see a floating video camera, presumably the entity she's "interacting" with.
    • Among those who can see this camera are Deadpool, Gwenpool, and Zack Morris. She's often overwhelmed when the latter two mess around, Wade making a lot of derisive (but still kid-friendly) comments about her show, and Gwen... not being nearly as insulting as him, while Zack is amicable enough around her and even eventually befriended her somehow.
  • She is never seen without her Backpack and Map. The former often has whatever item is needed (even ladders), the latter has some questionable credibility (depsite its frightening tracking competence), and both need to be called at by someone other than Dora (and Boots) twice.
    • Part of her ascension package is that her backpack's star pocket can summon whatever Explorer Stars she's caught and released throughout her adventures to help her out.
  • Would eventually have adventures at Playa Verde, but she usually assumes her current appearance.
  • Tries her best to let slide the derisive comments she sometimes gets, but doesn't know how to stop them; they're not slurs to her culture or anything, but to her intelligence simply because she talks to something that's not there and expects a response from it. There's probably also how she regards Swiper, as that can easily send the wrong lesson.
  • Despite how her show usually goes, she's no stranger to truly vile scum (at least as much as a kids show would allow). Even then, she doesn't show much anger.
  • Occasionally visits the House of Sports to practice her baseball and soccer, the latter of which she excels at. She's taken the time to search for a representative deity for it.
  • She's also proficient in the guitar and flute.
  • As someone who's made a lot of animal friends, Dora has also become friends with those who made similar kinds of friendships as well. Examples include Fluttershy and Eliza Thornberry.
  • Isn't pleased with the notion that she's an illegal immigrant.
  • There happens to be a live-action movie featuring her in the works. Despite initial rumors, Michael Bay has denied being directly involved in its production.
  • Is advised not to try her usual tactic with Swiper on the Sniper for...reasons. He's professional enough not to do that on a whim, but anybody else who makes that joke will get a Jarate and a headshot.
  • She's had her fair share of inside-a-magic-book adventures, and was curious to hear of a pair of kids whose books had the same effects.
  • -something about witches like The Wicked Witch of the West and Atsuko Kagari -
  • -something about Santa-
  • She and Boots apparently went on an adventure to Antarctica, beating an expedition team to it, and even asking what took them so long. She can't remember doing such a thing, knows that some things said there were condescending, and is aware that they were underdressed for the South Pole.
  • During one of her travels, Dora crossed paths with Hilda, who was on one of her own travels, too, accompanied by Cream. They hit it off well and added her in their circle of friends (with animal companions).

  • Allies: Dr. Drakken, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Mr. Fox, Robbie Rotten, Isaac Dian and Miria Harvent
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies:
  • Friendly Enemy: Dora
  • Notes about your chosen deity
  • Swiper has already been in the Pantheon for a while now under Dr. Drakken. He hasn't done much swiping since most of his "victims" were too willing to retaliate with violence (a bat whack from Ness, a Death Glare from Mandy, a preemptive Thunderbolt from Ash's Pikachu, toy weapon attacks from the CMC after they were returning home from a LARP, a blast of magic from Star). When he heard Dora was in the Pantheon, he immediately decided to go and try to swipe from her again for old time's sake.
    • After being "thwarted" by Dora yet again, someone in the Court witnessed this and the next day, Swiper found himself ascended now.
  • His new temple takes the form of Blueberry Hill and his burrow at the top. Given he's at the House of Crime, this means the bushels are sometimes emptied, much to his ire, despite blueberries not even being that high up in terms of worth compared to everything else. He's been considering looking for security measures.
  • Due to his harmlessness, he's an absolute laughingstock for the House of Thieves. And most of his other neighbors wonder why he's even in their House in the first place.
    • There are a few who appreciate him though, such as Isaac and Maria, who—aside from being idiotic thieves—are actually good people with actual friends and are really nice people even to those they haven't met and they don't have the heart to intentionally kill people.
    • Another is Mr. Fox, who invited him over for a nice dinner. They even later established trade, a few of Fox's share for Swiper's blueberries and favors here and there to ensure there are always blueberries for him to trade with.
  • Gods can tell if Swiper’s coming when they hear that distinctive maracas-like (or spray bottle-like) sound. Since most folks in the Pantheon are smarter, this means he might get outed much faster or, in the case of more ruthless ones, get preemptively counterattacked, resulting in him needing to flee, or risk getting himself shot, blasted or getting the jump on.
  • He does have standards, though. If the thing he's swiped is meant to be a gift for someone (especially if it's from Santa), he'll give it back, no strings attached.
  • Even if he does steal something, he normally just tosses it somewhere nearby, often at bushes. Annoying for those in a time-sensitive mission, but then they should already be running, giving no time for Swiper to grab their stuff.
    • No one quite knows why he steals if he's only going to do that when he succeeds. His answer is that he just likes doing it.
    • And he doesn't like it if anyone else tries stealing from Dora; he feels that only he's allowed to do that.
  • Besides his natural stalking abilities (sometimes with the aid of a costume), he also has a great deal of technical knowledge, as he's built a variety of vehicles and gadgets (including a remote-controlled robot butterfly) to help him swipe things.
    • Occasionally tails Tails to observe his gadgetry and get some ideas for his own machines, not once swiping from him; he can show restraint, and it's not like he has to swipe all the time.
  • There's more to Swiper than just swiping, though. He has a soft spot for puppies, he's above swiping from delivery services addressed to him, and he's even once helped Dora on her quest to help a baby fox find its mommy, carrying the infant almost all through the adventure. He also doesn't speak Spanish, and wishes that he did.
  • Admits he's amused with the idea that some people see him as a customs officer. For this reason, some pranksters somehow harangued him one day to get to work at the Pantheon's barriers alongside the Inspector. He refuses to talk about what happened there.
  • Despite his alignment, he's on Santa's nice list ever since a certain time travel adventure with Dora. As such, his swipings have lessened, and he ceases doing so altogether on Christmas; makes sense as there are gifts and he draws the line in stealing those.

[down]Yes, please. I would like some help.

[up]I haven't seen anyone in the Pantheon having the Love Interest trope so it's okay I guess.

I know the BN series because of the anime so she is good for me

Also, do you want some help for Dora's interactions that are obviously not added yet

It's just that I wanted to tup both Dora and Swiper together after Dora's interactions are completed

[down]I know Roll.EXE is not in Love Interest and that he's referring to Sheryl and the other two characters

If nobody wants Roll.EXE's proposal (and technically robots are created and are not related at all biologically). There is one example I could think of. Is it a good example for The Powerpuff Girls anime to have this trope (I mean, they are also created, but I don't know)? The girls are not sisters, have Japanese names and their well-known names in the cartoon are their superhero names, their personalities and hobbies are expanded, they have their own family members (such as Blossom having a younger sister) and they are also not related to Professor Utonium whatsoever, who has a son named Ken

I'll probably do this since I have memories for this show and even if I don't remember a lot about this anime, I can search the info of the series here and besides, the episodes and the plot are basic at best

The question is whether Roll is appropriate for Unrelated in the Adaptation, not Love Interest.

I guess the question to ask regarding that is: is Unrelated in the Adaptation really appropriate for robots?

Hmm, for Teenage Mutant Samurai Wombats, who can take the role? In case Friend to All Children doesn't work out for Gamera, maybe he can take Turtle Power while the TMNT take Teenage Mutant Samurai Wombats.

As for Unrelated in the Adaptation, perhaps I can propose the Powerpuff Girls Z instead? *gets ready for a lot of flame comments*

[up]Why are there flame comments? Is it because a lot of people hate this anime? Yes, it's basic or probably mediorce, but it's not that bad from what I remember. Or I just suffer from a lot of nostalgia

Or probably because the girls are created in the cartoon, making them probably not biologically related, but I think the anime has more reasons. Because the creators of the anime made a lot of changes to them as I stated above and besides, the original creator is not involved in this anime at all

So the question is: Do any of you will accept the PPGZ proposal?

@Faso: Asia Argento finds a lot of common ground in SCP-166, right down to being devils who have converted to Catholicism. 166 is saddened that the church that Asia once joined betrayed her and called her a witch while 166's convent was very kind to her; Asia tells her that it's all in the past and not worry about it. She then introduced 166 to her friends, Xenovia Quarta and Irina Shidou who are more than happy to accept her, but once they realized her ability to instantly charm any male, they decide to keep her away from Issei lest he get unnecessarily smitten. 166 had a horrible incident when she accidentally smelled Luka's scent and cornered him to a wall, causing HIM to be attracted to HER. Were it not for some female SCP operatives and Luka's wife Alice being around the corner, the two would have done worse to themselves. 166 and Luka personally have no hard feelings towards each other, but they agree to maintain a distance due to both of their attraction abilities being a disaster for both of them. It's also a no-brainer that she too doesn't like YHVH, finding him not the God she worshipped so dearly; she got the warning from Asia, by the way. Judge Frollo finds her to be even worse than Esmerelda, because he knows he can fall into temptation of lust very quickly than the latter; 166 mutually hates him for committing a great sin, that is letting his lust consume him and not coping with it healthily. Speaking of Esmeralda, she and 166 sympathized with each other since a lot of men throw themselves to them causing them distress and 166 felt bad that Esmeralda and her people were having poverty problems, though Esmeralda told her that they're luckily getting better.

@Nightelf: Roll.EXE is fine to me, but I was thinking Takuto Tsunashi, Wako Agemaki and Sugata Shindo for Love Triangle instead cause their mutual relationship with each other is pretty healthy unlike other examples where it's all a competition. I bet they (the SD trio) could take One True Threesome as an alternative.

@Louisent: Why not have the Powerpuff Girls Z in? I'm down for that!

  • Rivals: The Spy, Lust the Lascivicious
  • Enemies: Mata Nui and The Toa, Amanda Waller, Vincent Brooks, Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Lelouch vi Britannia, Sheogorath, Izaya Orihara
  • Interested in: The FEV
  • Source of Interest for: The GUAE Mutation Lair
  • Evil Counterpart to: Brightwing
  • Roodaka is the dangerously alluring Queen of the Visorak who seeks to revive Makuta from his sealing by the Toa Metru. Later, the Visorak betrayed her after being persuaded by Toa Vakama and after her defeat, she was later captured by the Order of Mata Nui to do their dirty work. It is unknown if she was seen in Spherus Magna afterwards.
  • Makuta needed more of his influence in the Trope Pantheons and he knows who to ascend. He makes his case to the Court of the Gods that Roodaka fit Planet of Copyhats due to possessing traits that her fellow brethren also share. Not wanting to be needlessly blasted, the Judges reluctantly approve his request and Roodaka had officially ascended. Roodaka herself is glad and humbled that Makuta got her a position and now, they seek to bring Mata Nui down once and for all.
  • The Toa are not happy that Roodaka returned in their presences and are readying themselves to face her threat once more. Mata Nui is now worried that Teridax is currently increasing his influence in order to take him down.
    • She's pretty neutral on the Vahki as long as they're being useful to Makuta and unfazed that Toa Nuparu stole back some Vahki to serve him. At least they won't leave her behind like the Visorak did before...
  • Due to her really uncertain loyalty (besides Makuta of course), Roodaka is often compared to the Spy, who also betrays anyone if it suits him. They're rivals more often than not, and you won't be seeing them getting along anytime soon.
    • She got captured by the Order of Mata Nui soon after her troubles in Metru Nui and was forced to serve them to do their dirty work. This made Roodaka distrustful of Amanda Waller, who also captures villains and made them go on suicide missions to do unfathomable objectives. Waller finds some value in Roodaka's abilities and is devising a plan to "coerce" her to cooperate, which is never happening in everyone's eyes.
  • Since she's also a vamp and Femme Fatale double package, Vincent Brooks stay very far away from her due to being reminded of Catherine; Roodaka thinks he's not worth her time. She did struck up a rivalry with Lust, since they have a lot in common but ultimately serve different superiors. They're not gonna be playing nice should their paths cross...
  • Since she turned the Toa Hagah into Rahaga for evil reasons, Roodaka gained enemies in Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen and Brightwing. Tiana and Naveen have been frogs for one adventure, and they REALLY don't a repeat of that anymore while Brightwing is insulted that Roodaka turned good people into forms they don't even want or deserve and hopes to give her a taste of her own medicine soon.
    • The GUAE Mutation Lair is interested in her Baleful Polymorph powers and are considering inviting her in their group. Roodaka is flattered, but is not interested in their business since she's helping Teridax right now.
    • What she is interested in right now is Sheogorath's Daedric Artifact, the Wabbajack, as it's powers are similar to the effects of her Spinner for good or for ill to the user. The problem lies in snagging it right under the Prince's nose without being on the wrong end of said staff, which is a trait easier said than done. While she is no slouch in the art of manipulation, the Mad God is perfectly capable of hatching plots to make those who oppose him look like total fools sometimes without even lifting a finger.
    • Teridax has told her about the Forced Evolutionary Virus. Its common use is turning others into hulking mutants (or simply killing them depending on the strain), though that hasn't stopped any truly horrific transformations from occurring; hearing this, Roodaka is now on board with that prospect. Though guarded in the Treasures, it hasn't stopped Evilutionary Biologists and other vagabonds from sneaking in anyways and Roodaka can simply track down specific strains from deities who have direct access to them such as the Think Tank and the Enclave.
  • Lelouch vi Britannia sees Roodaka as serious competition since she plans a lot and manipulates everyone around her like he did except Lelouch can justify it's all for reforming Britannia and protecting its people. Roodaka herself finds him a challenge since unlike Sidorak, he's dangerously competent to the max.
  • Currently, Roodaka is short on other allies... until she has met Queen Chrysalis, who has a lot in common with her; the race that serve them betrays them at their final battles, they've used men in their own ways and having the same voice actress. Nowadays, their remaining loyalties now lie with each other since they don't have much allies and Teridax's okay with her too.
  • "Soon, Makuta..."

First draft of the Wisps

The Wisps, Deified Living Batteries

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wisps.png
  • House: Sources of Power (House of Power)
  • Lesser Deities in general
  • Symbol: A mix of colors from the various Wisps
  • Theme Song: The Planet Wisp Acts for the Wisps as a whole
  • Alignment: Neutral Good or Chaotic Good (normal Wisps), Chaotic Neutral (Nega-Wisps)
  • Portfolio: Friendly Starfish Aliens, having Elemental Powers Fusing With Sonic, Sentient Power Sources, All Your Powers Combined
  • Domains: Aliens, Hyper-Go-On Energy, Transformations, Friendliness
  • High Priest: Charjabug
  • Allies: Sonic, Tails and their friends, The Doctor, E.T, The Blorg Community, Kirby, Lilo and Stitch, Pokémon in general, Cael Cynder, Nibbler, Philip J Fry, Samus Aran, Mario
  • Enemies: Dr Eggman, Black Doom, Zavok, Infinite, evil aliens, Dr Wily, Dr Weil, Ghetsis Harmonia, Hunter J, Miles Quaritch, The Tyranids, Wat Tambor
  • Avoids: The House of Mind Control, Roger the Alien
  • The Wisps are a friendly type of alien found on Planet Wisp. Colorful creatures, they are capable of giving people various powers depending on the Wisp. Composed of Hyper-Go-On energy, they are an attractive source of power. Dr Eggman captured their homeworld in hopes of using their power for a mind control ray, so he may finally rule the world. Fortunately, Sonic and Tails stopped his plans. While most returned to Planet Wisp, some wisps remain on Earth to help out Sonic and friends.
  • The complete antithesis to the Black Arms. While they are dark, malevolent invaders, the Wisps are colorful and friendly. They don't care for evil aliens, and would rather be playful and cute. The Doctor thinks they're adorable, as do many non-evil beings in the House of Extraterrestrials. Though they can come in some rather strange varieties. Fry got along with them, reflecting how good he is to animals and interest in aliens.
  • Got along with E.T, as he is a friendly alien like themselves. The Men in Black and SCP Foundation have stated that while they are alien, they aren't of any concern and don't need to be contained or removed. The Blorg Community believes that they could be good friends and want to spread the happiness of the Wisps to other alien races, hoping everyone can get along.
  • Some have compared them to Pokemon, as they're playful creatures that come in a variety of forms, and have a variety of powers. Most of these fall under Elemental Powers, furthering the similarity. Lilo and Stitch draw more of a comparison to Jumba's various experiments, being alien beings with various powers, though only the Nega-Wisps ever act that naughty. They like the Wisps a lot. Mario seems to like them as well, as they remind him of Lumas.
  • Capable of merging with people so for a time they can use their powers. One of the most well-known examples is the Cyan Wisps' Reflecting Laser powers. Their appearance in the pantheon was a boon to some members of the Grand United Alliance of Good as they can be equipped. Kirby was most used to this and their playful personalities meshed well. Samus Aran found them great help in her adventures.
  • The Venom Symbiote of all beings compared himself to the Wisps, as he is a symbiotic alien entity who can bond and empower other lifeforms. Though unlike the Wisps, this has a much more mixed result. With the vastly different tones in the two races, the Wisps were simply confused by this comparison.
  • One of the Wisps attempted to bond with Roger the Alien. The alien's own bitchiness and intoxication of God knows what had a severely negative result, and that Wisp ejected itself, promptly vomited, and continued to act like a surly Jerkass. Roger isn't allowed close to them again. The Tyranids have been kept much farther away from the Wisps as they will surely assimilate their power and it'll be a disaster for everyone.
  • Dr Wily wants to take the Wisps in order to control their power and enhance his Robot Masters, and model better models after them. Dr Weil's interest is far more dangerous, as after losing the Dark Elf believes that their power and potential for mind control if the power is utilized. He is searching for the Mother Elf to turn into his slave to make Omega more dangerous than ever.
  • Hunter J has been kidnapping some of the Wisps to sell them to the highest bidder. Ghetsis recognizes the similarity to Pokemon, and wants to use that for his domination schemes. Wat Tambor wants to weaponize their power in the Separatist agenda. And Miles Quaritch believes the power they obtain might hope his financiers and humanity in breaking out of the current resource deficit.
  • Knowing they are targeted for the power, Cael Cynder and Nibbler have come to the Wisps' protection. They can relate. The Wisps also avoid the House of Mind Control, in fear the more nefarious members will extract their Hyper-Go-On energy and enhance their mind control with it.

Gowther, God of Energy Bows (Goat's Sin of Lust, Armor Giant, Armando, Lord Gowther, Alan, Gowther the Selflessness, Alan Walker)

  • Domain(s): Memory, Emotions, Dolls
  • Allies: Meliodas, Diane, Ban, King, Pinocchio, Astro Boy, Rei Ayanami, Astolfo, The Plain Doll, Shino Asada/Sinon, Link, Zelda, Chevalier d'Eon, Chihiro Fujisaki, Shirou Emiya, Illyasviel von Einzbern, Touko Aozaki, Lelouch vi Britannia, Iroque
  • Enemies: Ten Commandments, Oryx, The Grineer, all evil deities in the House of Mind Control
  • Conflicting Opinion: Izaya Orihara, Arael
  • Gowther is a doll who was created by a great Demon mage of the same name. He was originally designed to be an avatar for his creator to interact with the outside world and served as the Selflessness of the Demon Clan's Ten Commandments, the group of elite warriors that served directly under the Demon King. After freeing his creator from Demon Prison, Gowther was granted a will of his own and subsequently disappeared. Thousands of years later, Gowther reappeared in the dungeons of Liones Castle, where he was found by Princess Nadja Liones. Eventually, the two fell in love and, knowing that Nadja's weak heart would inevitably result in her death, they fulfilled her dream by spending her last moments of life in a moment of passion. When Nadja died in his arms, Gowther desperately tried to save her by implanting his artificial heart into her, but it did not work. When the guards found him, he was accused of forcing Nadja into vile sexual acts that ended with her death, sentencing him to death for the sin of lust. Gowther decided to discard his magical heart and used his power to erase his own memories in order to never have to feel that pain again. Later on, Gowther joined the Seven Deadly Sins.
  • Upon his ascension, Gowther was happy to be reunited with his fellow Sins. However, he was also alarmed to discover that the Ten Commandments had ascended as well. His interactions with Estarossa are particularly awkward, since Gowther and his creator were responsible for turning Mael into Estarossa in the first place.
  • Gowther quickly struck up a friendship with Pinocchio and Astro Boy due to having a similar nature as a doll. He occasionally serves as something of a mediator whenever the three start discussing whether or not having human emotions is worth the pain that they can cause. Having previously gotten rid of his emotions in order to avoid feeling pain and sadness, Gowther was understanding of Astro Boy's position, but ultimately agreed with Pinocchio that it is indeed better to have them.
  • Gowther gets along quite well with Rei Ayanami, as he had similarly dealt with trying to understand emotions. He's very supportive of her efforts to figure out her suppressed emotions and is happy to provide her with advice on the matter.
  • After regaining his emotions, Gowther's more emotional and playful personality resulted in him quickly befriending Astolfo, who is not only similarly a Keet, but also shares Gowther's fondness for crossdressing. The two can often be seen hanging out together.
  • Gowther also became allies with the Plain Doll, having been pleasantly surprised to encounter someone else like him. Their similar origins caused them to become fast friends and the two occasionally spend time talking about whether or not it would be better for the Doll to develop a will of her own and be able to make her own choices, rather than being limited to the way humans had made her.
  • He's on good terms with Shino Asada/Sinon, who is also an archer. However, Gowther had difficulty understanding the concept of an MMORPG and initially believed that it was a children's game of pretend similar to what he used to play with Pelliot and his gang. However, Sinon has made efforts to explain it to him and, although he still struggles with comprehending the concept, Gowther has shown an interest in trying to play ALO someday, much to her enjoyment.
  • Gowther also became friends with Link and Zelda, the former being a master archer and the latter having famously wielded Light Arrows, which had been granted to her by the four Light Spirits, during her and Link's battle against Ganondorf. Gowther made note of the fact that Zelda being the mortal reincarnation of the goddess Hylia strongly reminds him of Elizabeth, who is also the mortal reincarnation of a Goddess.
  • Gowther is also good friends with Chevalier d'Eon, who was delighted to meet yet another androgynous individual in the pantheon. Gowther was somewhat curious about d'Eon's true gender, but ultimately decided that it didn't really matter, as he enjoyed being in their company regardless.
  • Gowther also quickly became allies with Chihiro Fujisaki and is rather protective of him, sympathising with Chihiro's decision to crossdress due to the constant bullying he received. Which contrasts with Gowther, who crossdresses for fun. Saddened, Gowther decided to support Chihiro, lending him a sympathetic ear and defending him from dangerous enemies.
  • He's on friendly terms with Shirou Emiya and Illyasviel von Einzbern, although they initially had trouble trusting him because one of their enemies-turned-friends is a former human who was turned into a doll with no emotions. Gowther was particularly interested in Shirou's ability to spontaniously replicate the weapons of various historical figures and potentially other people, which resembles Gowther's ability to summon the Twin Bow Herritt. Gowther was quite impressed by the fact that Shirou uses his own mana to create the weapons, but has also remarked that Shirou seems to needlessly limit himself to mostly using swords and has suggested that he should try to expand his use of weaponry.
  • He generally gets along with Touko Aozaki and is fascinated by her use of puppet bodies as a means of survival. It strongly reminds him of how his creator had originally used him as an avatar to interact with the outside world from Demon Prison.
  • Gowther is rather weary well-known manipulators such as Lelouch and Izaya, particularly the latter because he can manipulate people without having any brainwashing powers. Lelouch regards Gowther as a potential ally, since his abilities would not only be very useful but could also minimise harm due to being relatively more benign than using the geass. Upon learning more about Lelouch, Gowther remarked that he's not particularly averse to working with him, but only if he deems it necessary. On the other hand, Gowther disapproves of Izaya's desire to cause random mayhem purely for his own amusement. However, the fact that Izaya also has a love of humanity has given Gowther some hope that Izaya might have some redeemable qualities.
  • His ability to temporarily brainwash enemies into becoming allies drew the attention of Iroque, who was surprised to hear of a power similar to that of the Indigo Light. However, Gowther explained that permanently changing someone's personality would require him to perform a forbidden spell that required more magical power than he possessed. He also made it clear that he has no intention of ever permanently changing someone's personality due to feeling guilty over what he and his creator had previously done to Mael. Although disappointed by Gowther's inability and unwillingness to resort to brainwashing enemies for the greater good, she respects his wishes and the two remain on good terms.
  • Gowther quickly became enemies with Oryx, the Taken King, whose power to Take others is more than just Mind Control. Rather than just permanently changing the victim's mind, being Taken involves them having their very being twisted and shaped into a shadowy slave to the Taken Kind. And the worst of it is that those Taken under his rule are in pure ecstasy while serving him thanks to the sheer Mind Rape. Gowther frequently tries to undo the damage done to the Taken King's victims, but has thus far only had limited success.
  • He is also enemies with the Grineer and particularly their Twin Queens, whom he find abhorrent for their practice of immortality involving driving "the young and exotic" into the Despair Event Horizon through eating away at their psyche to make room for their own consciousness.
  • Gowther frequently visits the House of Mentalism, often trying to help those who had been victims of evil aligned deities in that house. He particularly dislikes the evil deities in the House of Mind Control due to how much they have hurt people as well as the fact that they remind him of how he had previously re-written Guila's memories, even to the point of making her forget about her little brother, in order to further his understanding love. However, he also sympathises with Arael, whose habit of mentally torturing people is due to its interest in understanding human psychology, a desire that had similarly motivated Gowther's actions when he was emotionless.
  • Out of all the Sins, Gowther's occasional change in behaviour is the most disliked, as he not only reverts back to being emotionless, but also becomes an incredibly mean spirited Deadpan Snarker who insults everyone with personal information that he gains by reading their thoughts seemingly for his own amusement. Ironically, Izaya is the only person that likes having Gowther around when he's acting like this.

@Muundeis For the record, 166 is not a demon, a half-ling at most. She is called a Succubus for her effect but she doesn't act like one. Her heritage is a nature goddess mother and whatever Dr. Clef is.

Edit: Nah it's ok. 166 and Luka might end up in a mutual attraction situation they might not want to repeat

@ Faso: Rolf could be able to resist her charms. During the Valentines Day Special he was the only one completely unaffected by the cupids along with undoing their affects on the other kids though the use of mop water. I'd think he'd come by to try and undo the affects the same why, and that may include dousing her with mop water as well to probably nullify the effect. He'd be on the opposing side of things.

Rolf: "You make Rolf sick."

@ Gowther: [tup]

@ Jester: Speaking of Fallen London, care to take a look at Mr Eaten right here? Quite a dated profile.

@ The Wisps: In order to counter the Corpus' projects involving their interest in Pokemon as a whole, the Grineer wants to utilize the Wisps for their own benefit and own benefit alone. And they're willing to bulldoze anyone else trying to get their hands on the Wisps. Primarily, their ideal outcome would be to significantly decrease the speed at which they degrade though they aren't saying no to significantly enhancing the main bulk of their forces. The Grineer most interested in researching the Wisps is Tyl Regor.

Tyl Regor: "Don't worry, the experiments won't hurt and not even a little bit. Cross my heart: It's going to hurt a looot."
