Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up] Honestly iffy on SMG3 getting his own profile. Dunno if being a villain is enough. Also, the typos make it hard to understand what you're saying; are you saying he could fit either trope or just listing his character traits? Because I think people would rather have Iago take Green-Eyed Monster, and I don't know how well he fits From Nobody to Nightmare.

Another repost of the "third Hatred guardian" proposal. The Anti-Spiral has 3 [tup]'s, Dr. Weil has 2 [tup]. Who do you want as the new guardian?

[up] [tup] to the Anti-Spiral if I haven't done so already, they seem like the better choice IMO

  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Arriving in 2006, Ultraman Mebius was the latest Ultra at the time to arrive on Earth, as his superiors wanted him to learn and grow as a warrior as they had done themselves in their own adventures on Earth. Mebius teamed up with GUYS, Earth's latest defense team who had inherited weaponry and intel from all previous teams that cooperated with Ultras, though most of the original staff died against the Kaiju, Dinozaur, forcing civilians to become the new GUYS after Mebius defeated Dinozaur. Alongside GUYS, Mebius would not only fight the usual Monster of the Week, but also clashing with the anti-heroic Ultraman Hikari who would eventually redeem himself and become his ally, finally he found himself entrusted in a massive conspiracy and plots of the malevolent Alien Empera and his forces, the Land of Light's greatest enemy who returned to conquer Earth and continue his goals of exterminating all light. However, Mebius' strength and the bonds he had with GUYS and Hikari he was able to achieve his most powerful form, Phoenix Brave. With the help of the Ultra Brothers and GUYS themselves, Mebius was able to destroy Empera once and for all, saving the Universe finally becoming a worthy Ultra Brother himself before leaving Earth to return back to M78.
  • Mebius ascended after his defeat of Alien Empera which he became legendary for, as Empera was once the greatest enemy of the Ultras and defeating him is no minor feat. Mebius went into his temple without expecting much praise and denied being treated as a veteran, claiming that he still had a lot to learn in spite of his already big accomplishments. When he joined the Grand United Alliance of Good in the GUAG Ultramen, he also declined being made a leading Ultra Brother, preferring his predecessors and mentors to take up the role, though he (and Zero) will take over the leading roles if either of the two current field leaders are unavailable.
  • Upon ascending he was glad to see the many Ultra Heroes ascended into the Pantheon, especially Rei and Ultraman Zero, as Mebius had his adventures with both during the crisis of Ultraman Belial and came to respect their power and strength, even if he started a small rivalry with Zero over their differing approaches to their status as famous Ultras and power; as with Rei he was glad to see the humanoid alien in the Pantheon still keeping up the fight for good.
  • He wasn't glad to see many of the Ultras' worst enemies in the Pantheon: the Zettons, Alien Empera, Yapool, Ultraman Belial and more. Mebius still remembers their respective attacks on the Land of Light, Alien Empera and Belial who were vanquished for good in his home Universe so their return here in one piece was quite a shock for him, especially inthe latter's caseafter learning that Yapool had involvement in resurrecting and ascending Empera into the Pantheon to a degree, Mebius has made sure to personally assist other heroes in making sure the villains cause as little harm as possible to the Pantheon and beyond.
  • Due to being an anniversary Ultra he made allies with fellow anniversary heroes, especially those who met their predecessors and learned from them as he did, one of the more notable were the Gokaigers, a group of space pirates serving as the 35th Sentai team and inherited the power of the previous teams, they also had to fight an evil dark emperor who proved to be one of the toughest foes ever faced by any Sentai team and also confront many old adversaries of their predecessors in the process like Mebius did, their initial aloof attitude towards Earth before warming up to it also earned them his respect as he too was once not as caring about Earth as his predecessor Ultras before Character Development from his bond with GUYS and fights gave him a better outlook to Earth.
    • Another hero who grew by meeting his predecessors was Sougo Tokiwa/Kamen Rider Zi-O, who even got involved in many unfinished business regarding them and their loved ones, even solving some problems left hanging from the past. Mebius respects that Sougo ended up changing his fate of becoming an evil king without necessarily abandoning his own dream of becoming a king himself, even making sure his enemies would be happy in the new world he made.
  • While Mebius will no doubt destroy rogue Kaiju that threaten peace or attack cities, he's more than capable of teaming up with more benevolent ones or those who outright participate in the protection of Earth and peace. Among these was Godzilla, as the King of the Monsters while occasionally evil or destructive, has recently taken a more authoritative and peace-making role between humans and Kaiju, usually keeping other giants in the Pantheon and his world in check, though this mostly applies to the composite version of the Big G, as its other selves aren't as benevolent (especially the likes of GMK and and Earth Godzilla who are legitimately evil) and therefore are enemies of Mebius. Other Kaiju allies that he got were Mothra and Mothra Leo, both guardians of Earth
    • Gamera was another Kaiju ally he made, as the giant turtle is a sworn Guardian of Earth, who also grows in power with his bond with both Earth itself and its inhabitants, that Gamera prioritizes children's safety also helps the turtle's reputation with Mebius. Toto, Gamera's "son" and reincarnation, also made quick allies with Mebius for similar reasons. That said, Mebius does feel uneasy about Gamera's higher rulethness and callous behavior towards collateral damage at times when he focuses on his duties.
    • King Kong also had the honor of becoming another of Mebius' allies, given the great ape king's tendency to help humans and avoid conflict whenever possible, as well as fighting any evil Kaiju that appear around the world. Kong's conflicts with humanity did little to hinder his alliance with Mebius, as the Ultra understood how it wasn't really his fault that the conflicts came to be.
    • As they're vile and evil Kaiju with no real redeeming qualities he has put on his enemies list the likes of King Ghidorah, Gigan, Hedorah, SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah and the Gyaos. The Gyaos in particular stood out for their ability to reproduce in large numbers and ravage entire civilizations; this latter point also made Ghidorah a bigger enemy, as the three-headed monster has been responsible for the destruction of entire planets in addition to civilizations
  • Mebius eventually faced a bit of a emotional struggle in his home universe when he figured out that his nature as an Ultra means that one day he'll outlive all of GUYS and any human friends he makes, though it took him time to come to terms with it he eventually was able to accept it and be ready to move on; he made allies with Rose Quartz over this, as Rose had initially a bit of a dismissal of humans before her tendency to outlive them weighed down on her when she grew more empathic with regards to others' lives after meeting and romancing Greg Universe. Her growing to care about Earth on her own in spite of her upbringing as a conqueror also helped Mebius' views on her.
  • With his status as a rookie trained to become an Ultra Brother (a highly respected position for any Ultra) he got an ally in Hot Rod and Bumblebee, who in certain universes both had to grow into the role of leaders and respected figures in the steed of their predecessor, Optimus Prime, when he died (temporarily in both cases). Mebius was impressed by Hot Rod becoming a Prime, similarly to how Mebius was granted the Ultra Brother title and also by Bumblebee growing into a mature and skillfull leader even leading his own squadron of heroes to deal with rogue Decepticons and the corrupt Autobot government of his world; Hot Rod and Bumblebee in turn respect that Mebius has not let his status as a famous hero get into his head and that he continues to humbly seek to grow more as a leader and justice-keeper.
  • During his adventures, Mebius met the Space Swordsman, Zamusha, a honorable yet ruthless warrior who sought out the mightiest opponent to face in a sword duel; though initially an enemy, Zamusha soon became an ally of Mebius and went as far as giving his life to protect GUYS from dying at the hands of Alien Empera's attack. Similarly he later on found another similar opponent in Mecha-Zam, another honorable Blood Knight who he bonded with and was sadly killed when he was used as a vessel to bring about the return of Alien Empera and had to get a Mercy Kill so he could be free of the Emperor's spirit. This let him get allies in honorable swordfighters, among these stood out Meta Knight, who also seeks the strongest opponent like Zamusha and isn't evil nor cruel despite his ruthlessness in combat; the wandering Samurai Jack also found himself among these allies, in no small part thanks to his fight against evil and a better future than the one he was stuck in.
  • Because of Mebius' fight against an evil alien emperor who wished to drown the world in darkness, all who have the same goal became enemies as a result. One of these enemies is Dharkon, as the Lord of Darkness' ultimate goal is to cover all that exists in an eternal darkness to kill off all light in existance. Similarly, the Dark Star, Chernabog and Nightmare Moon also became enemies due to their desire to bring about an age of eternal darkness for their own sakes, which while less extreme than Empera's own goals are still bad for everyone; particularly he also worries about the possibility of them all teaming up with Empera in a possible all-out attack that could lead to the end of all life in existence.
  • Mebius' true power comes from The Power of Friendship, especially in his Phoenix Brave form where the bonds of Hikari and GUYS are key to achieve it; for this reason he became allies with Gentaro Kisaragi, a fellow Tokusatsu hero whose power is friendship-based and whose general amicability has helped him in earning the friendship of even his enemies, a feat Mebius considered impressive as he himself befriended two of his enemies himself. Other users of the magic of friendship include the heroic MLP deities, whose true power of magic comes from the bonds between themselves and their loved ones; Mebius also appreciates their efforts to spread tolerance and good emotions, which reminds him of how one of his predecessors, Ultraman 80, also worked hard to remove negative emotions and spread positivity.
  • Deities that seek out negative emotions for their use earned Mebius' hatred as they reminded him of how the Yapool and the Black Silhouette operated. The main stand-out was Pitch Black, who uses the emotions of fear and despair to power himself up and become stronger so as to eventually be known and feared by everyone, while he has a bit of a Freudian Excuse for his actions, Mebius nonetheless condemns them, seeing his goals as ultimately harmful for the good future of Earth and beyond. In this position were also the Heartless, not too dissimilar in nature to the Choju and Minus Energy Kaiju which he's tangled with in several occasions.
  • Like all other Ultras, Mebius wants to help humanity evolve and thrive so one day they can become as advanced as the Ultras, seeing in them the past of his species; as such those who wish to exterminate them all or hinder progress are seen as enemies, such a deity was found in the Anti-Spiral, who seek to impose order on living beings and destroy any who begin evolving in ways unfit for them; Mebius has stated that while he can respect trying to keep the Universe in check, he won't condone subjugating life under strict rules for it and has declared open intent to help take down the Anti-Spirals.
    • Another tyrant who wishes to control life was Darkseid, the Dark Lord of Apokolips has made it his goal to obtain the Anti-Life Equation through which he will obtain the means to take control of all life in existence and remake it to fit his will. His cruelty and lording over a planet where captured enemies are forcefully made into his servants via mechanization didn't help matters either. Mebius has also been concerned to hear that there are many worlds where Darkseid either succeeded or lost with the heroes paying a great cost for his defeat in turn as well as the recent amicable rivalry with Belial.
  • Those who have destroyed planets also became enemies of Mebius, two stand-outs were Zarkon and Lord Dominator, who in their quests for control and destruction ravaged many worlds, sometimes with their populations included; Zarkon's son, Lotor, didn't earn himself any favors with Mebius either due to his extreme actions against Atleans involving draining them of their lifeforce and how nowadays he's been reduced to a power-hungry tyrant not unlike his father.
  • Mirai respects veteran and elder heroes, especially those who seek to make others happy purely because it's the right thing to do, for this reason he was pleased to meet Inuyashiki, an (not-that old) old man who was modified by an entity from outer space into a powerful cyborg hero who went on to oppose Shishigami, a monstrous teenager who was similarly empowered but preferred to spread misery and destruction for his amusement. Inuyashiki's Heroic Sacrifice only further deepened Mebius' respect for the elderly hero and his exploits; Inuyashiki in return was curious to hear of Mebius' extraterrestrial origins, as well as how Ultras "merged" with humans or other living beings either to save their lives or have a body to move around on Earth when they don't create a human form of their own, given that it reminded him of the origins of his powers.

No, SMG 3 definitely could get his own trope since he is more of a recurrent antagonist than a recurrent side character but i'm not interested in him at all for now

  • Allies: House of Sports, The Diver, Ariel, Melody, Ecco, Mumble, Madagascar Penguins, Polar Bear Cafe, Houkago Tea Time, Aqours, Akari, Aika and Alice, Adventure DigiDestined, Alex Louis Armstrong
  • In the coastal town of Iwatobi lives Haruka Nanase, noted for his love of water and rare talent for swimming. He has been friends since childhood with Makoto, Nagisa and Rin, who share his love for the pool and practiced since an early age. Rin left to train in Australia when they were in middle school and certain events led to a rift in their friendship. Rin came back during high school and was distant from his friends, who decided to revive their school's swimming club so they could meet Rin in competitions. His sister Gou was enlisted as manager and they got track and field athlete Rei to join to round out the number of members. Rin became close with his friends again after sorting out his issues with Haruka, who he considered his biggest rival, and they went on to pave their way to competing at the world level.
  • They were formally invited to join the Pantheon with sponsorship from the House of Sports, who were eager to have talented swimmers (of which Haruka and Rin are likely to go to the Olympics) representing the sport in the Pantheon. At first it was only really Nagisa who was excited about it, regardless of the inherent weirdness of a place where people like them can be made gods, which Rei pointed out only to fall on deaf ears. Haruka however was enticed when he was told about the House of Water and Moisture and demanded to see it immediately. Easygoing Makoto just smiled and went with the flow. Eventually they decided there was no harm in being gods of the Pantheon and decided to stay, upon which they were given the trope Gender-Blender Name, as their names are feminine or popular to give to girls. At length, they contacted Rin so he could join them, and, largely at Nagisa's behest, also got their club manager Gou in, with Nagisa reasoning they should have a female representative with a manly name. Gou is not the least bit amused, but stays with her friends anyhow.
  • Their temple consists of a homely clubroom. What is considered the greatest swimming pool complex in the Pantheon was also built in their honor, though that's located in the House of Sports. Deities of all stripes are allowed to come swim in it, provided they don't cause any havoc. It is where most indoor aquatic sports competitions in the Pantheon occur. The gang also occasionally gets it into their heads to fill the pools with fun things like cherry blossoms or balloons for some extra fun.
  • Being that they spend a lot of time in water due to their sport of election, they have made their fair share of water-dwelling friends, especially as far as Haruka is concerned; he'd spend his whole life submerged if only he could get away with it. He and his friends have hit it off with mermaids like Ariel and her daughter Melody, who are fond of humans and thus glad to show these boys who love water so much all that there is to see underwater. To make things easier, the mermaids taught them to make use of Oxygenated Underwater Bubbles, making Haruka in particular indescribably happy at how he is not so limited by his lung capacity anymore.
    • Hanging out with the mermaids also led them to eventually meet The Diver, an underwater robot who preserves the aquatic environment. The Diver is not much of a talker and doesn't tend to seek out the company of humans like the mermaids, but she thinks that Haruka and his friends could be a sort of key to the harmony between the human world and the underwater one and is thus willing to guide them in their explorations.
    • Eventually Nagisa (of course) got the idea to get The Diver to help them make friends with their respective symbolic animals. For Haruka this was an easy endeavor, seeing that Ecco is an heroic and pleasant dolphin. The same can be said for Nagisa with penguins; he has loads of fun attempting to tap-dance alongside Mumble or witnessing the Madagascar penguins' crazy schemes. There was also a time when he dragged everybody to the Polar Bear Cafe when he heard a penguin hung out there, and sure enough, he glomped Penguin when he saw him, much to the bird's bewilderment. The whole gang have developed a habit to hang out there after practice. Makoto's animal is the orca and... well... even though The Orca is best friends with The Diver, there wasn't much she could do to convince the human-hating creature that these five boys in particular were fine. Makoto didn't take it to heart and smiled and waved at him from afar. At least, The Orca, usually very violent, leaves them alone. As for Rin, he contented himself with swimming alongside The Diver's Great White companion; sharks are generally unadvisable to try to make friends with. Rei refused to bother with this nonsense, probably because his animal is the non-aquatic butterfly.
  • On the other hand, the Pantheon's oceans also feature a lot of dangerous monsters (such as Lagiacrus and some variations on the Kraken) that wouldn't hesitate to gobble up the boys should they run into them, so they are a bit more conscientious about going in the sea than they would be in their world. Though, the fact that they've made friends out of so many good-hearted aquatic dwellers does mitigate the danger a little, since they are able to warn and protect the boys to a certain extent, and sometimes even dissuade the monsters from acting out.
  • Became friends with Houkago Tea Time after meeting at a club presentation and briefly competing (Nagisa and Ritsu's idea) to see who could put on the better show. After that, the swim club hung out with the Houkago Tea Time girls in the latter's club room, having cake and tea and talking about nothing among themselves. Nagisa started comparing everybody and arrived at the conclusion that he is like Ritsu (as they're both very energetic), Haruka is like Yui (very talented in their respective areas but have their heads in the clouds), Rei is like Mio (always trying to put a stop to their club mates' antics to no effect) and Makoto is like Mugi (both are cheerfully relaxed). Rin is Azusa, because they've run out of members to compare; Rin called out Nagisa for his laziness upon hearing that. Yui in turn proposed that Gou was her sister Ui... because they're both little sisters. Everybody thought that was groanworthy, but good times were had by all as they goofed around.
  • Another group of singers they've made friends with is the idol group Aqours, who coincidentally also hail from a seaside town (the group's water-themed name is no accident, after all). Given the two groups' shared affinity for water, they have agreed to team up on occasion for a show or to promote their relatively sleepy towns. Aqours have noticed that female attendance tends to spike when the Iwatobi boys feature as guests. By the same token, they've been personally invited by Akari, Aika and Alice to visit their homeworld of Neo-Venezia. It was quite difficult to keep Haruka from diving into the canals, but either way, they've become good friends with the Undines in the course of that visit.
  • At one point they were practicing their swimming when Rei suddenly let out a scream; he had come face to face with a little white and purple seal-like creature like he'd never seen before. That was the Gomamon belonging to Joe Kido of the eight Digidestined, who were also in the area and Joe was quick to scold Gomamon for his mischief. Despite the abrupt meeting, the Iwatobi group showed interest in the creatures known as Digimon and talked to the Digidestined at length. The Digidestined do have rather more in common with the swimmers than one might think, because despite their past heroic adventures in another world, they eventually started having to give serious thought to their adult lives in their own world, something the swimmers can relate to. Haruka and Taichi in particular struggled to really take that first step into the adult world, being a little reluctant to let go of their carefree childhoods. Other interactions went as follows:
    • It's not a coincidence that Gomamon decided to pick on Rei, as he looks rather like Joe with his glasses and blue hair. The resemblance also extends to their personalities, as Rei and Joe are both rather nervous and fastidious. Rin finds Matt's aloof behavior obnoxious for someone who has the crest of Friendship, despite Nagisa commenting that Rin was just like him when he was estranged from the group. Matt also distanced himself from the Digidestined in the past, though this doesn't seem to impel Rin and Matt to talk to each other about these similarities, perhaps owing to a sense of shame. Nagisa was mainly interested in cuddling with the Digimon, although he seems to get along with the similarly unfiltered Mimi. Gou hit it off with TK and Kari as they remarked on their older siblings' sometimes foolish behavior. Makoto and Sora quietly bonded, owing to their calm and collected maturity compared to the rest of their groups.
  • The Iwatobi boys are well-known for bringing the beefcake, of which Gou is a true connoisseur (distressingly, she doesn't mind fawning over her own brother in such a way, either). So enthusiastiac is Gou for a well-defined six-pack that she is known to prowl the Halls of the House of Personal Appearance in search of more (some of the deities there consequently think she's kind of a creep). Luckily for her, she quickly found one in the form of Alex Louis Armstrong, who is so proud of his physique that he doesn't mind showing off his muscles for Gou at her request, much to her glee. They make an odd pair for sure, but it's such a symbiotic relationship that nobody minds. That said, the boys aren't really sure what to make of it when Armstrong challenges them to a "flex-off".

We've got a sauropod leading a group around the Pantheon. Also, he often stumbles across his son a couple of times.

Dammit, we're really extending the number of sequels for the Gang of Seven aren't we...?

So, I just wanted to wait until wootzits was done with her work before I made my move, because I'm a Nice Guy (or am I really? Who knows?). That out of the way, I've added a substantial amount for Mavis and here is she as it stands.

Anymore stuff to add onto or is she good to go?

  • The story and myth of the legendary Count Dracula is one of absolute terror, malice and bloodthirst, which paved the way to establish vampires as one of the most fearsome and deadliest of the undead. And then there's a certain story where Dracula himself... is actually a sheltered and overprotective father who ran a hotel for monsters and the undead. Enter his daughter, Mavis, whose mother, Martha, was killed by humans when she was a child and was turned into a vampire by her father at age 18, ensuring that she forever remains on her father's side. However, the fact that she was kept from visiting the outside world and the lack of being able to learn much outside her hotel home, let alone leaving it meant that Mavis led a sheltered life, which clearly showed when her personality remained that of an excitable and immature child, despite being more than a century old. All that changed when she met Jonathan Loughran, who happened to stumble across Hotel Transylvania at one point and the two ended up having a "zing" with one another. Initially, Dracula himself wanted to keep Mavis away from Johnny due to his disdain for humanity, but soon began to grow out of that mindset when Johnny's willingness to provide and be there for Mavis proves to Dracula that not all humans are bad. Eventually, Mavis and Johnny get married and have a son named Denisovich, who takes more upon Mavis via being a vampire himself.
  • When Dracula ascended into the Pantheon, the very first thing he desired was to find a way to bring Mavis alongside. After all, he would do anything for his daughter and he's a really dedicated father once he sets his sights on a goal. With the help of a few new vampire friends, Dracula was able to get Mavis ascended, with the added bonus of also bringing along Johnny and Dennis as heralds. He celebrates the victory by... having a live rap performance in the House of Music, much to his daughter's amusement, though there was a bit of scene when Dracula wanted to bring Mavis up on stage, much to her embarrassment.
  • In spite of their zany and awkward moments and conversations with one another, both, father and daughter love each other immensely and the impetus behind it is not really bought up much due to its tragedy. The House of Family are in full support of Dracula and Mavis and they are more than welcome to come by and visit, with Dracula himself being a staunch supporter of the Heroic Protectors of Family. Mavis loves to bring her son along to play with the other attending kids there and, unlike most vampires, her excitable and fun-loving demeanour meant that she could integrate really easily with the House's environment. That said, father and daughter still have their fair share of zany moments. The fact that the House of Family is actually rather dysfunctional isn't helping many matters either.
  • Inevitably, Mavis would be shocked to discover that Dracula wasn't just the name of her father, but also of several individuals who just so happened to be vampire rulers themselves. She further discovered that this particular name has been passed down in literary legend, hence there came to be several different iterations of the character. Mavis loves her father dearly and vice-versa but the other Draculas elicited different feelings and perspectives from her.
    • The original Dracula was actually a repulsive and bloodhungry madman who desired nothing more than to take over London and the world and led his domain through tyranny, fear and being a predator towards unwary travellers and fauna. This made him the least popular of the Draculas in the Pantheon and Mavis was among them, wanting nothing to do with him and calling him out for being a perverted maniac. He simply baulked at the idea of Mavis and her father being well-acquainted with one another and for accepting humanity and while he was quick to state that he ends to his brides, Mavis figured that there's not really any sense of affection or respect for one another; all it was for the original Dracula was control and dominance.
    • The Lord of Castlevania, Mathias Cronqvist, is the most powerful and feared of the Draculas, alongside Alucard, but while he was firmly evil, there was a sense of sympathy to be had upon him. Like the Dracula Mavis knew, the Lord of Castlevania was once a normal royal and who had two wives from a separate point in time and both of their deaths were what led him to snap become an enemy of humanity. Elisabeth's death made him bitter about God and Lisa's execution for supposed witchcraft was what drove him off the deep end and declare war on Mankind. In fact, The owner of Hotel Transylvania is on amicable terms with him due to some of the similarities they share, but Mavis prefers to keep her distance due to how he's like her father, except a bit more crazy. The Lord of Castlevania, however, bears no ill will on Mavis, and neither does the fact that she has a son with a human; he himself has one with Lisa, named Alucard.
    • Alucard and Soma Cruz don't present a stronger feeling than the previous two, but Mavis still acknowledges them as an extension to the Dracula legacy regardless. The former (not to be confused with Mathias's son who shares the name) doesn't really have to talk about, though he does intend to trollMavis at some points, whereas Soma is actually a decent person despite being a reincarnation of Mathias himself and, as a result, gets along with Mavis pretty well. That said, a lot of the residents of Hotel Transylvania dread the idea of Alucard attending as a guest occupant, given just how destructive and brutal he can get whenever he's feeling motivated for battle. He's surprisingly not banned from visiting, but Dracula and Mavis do have to assert Alucard to rein in his bloodthirsty impulses if he ever does come over.
  • Vampire Hunters normally tend to find it difficult to find non-malicious vampires for the most part, but there are exceptions, which Martha happens to be a part of. They were curious as to how did she and her father took care of Hotel Transylvania and were surprised to see that not only was it a haven for monsters of all kinds beyond just the Undead, but Mavis and Dracula weren't even evil by any means. The Belmont Family took this with grace and acknowledged Mavis's right to live out as she wanted. Similarly, Buffy Summers herself has made a notable vampire ally in Spike so her learning about Mavis and her father didn't really really faze so much as it endeared her in a sense. They are allowed to visit Mavis's domain as well as Dracula's... so long as they don't threaten them and their friends, which they're thankfully not going to do.
  • She and Dracula attend the House of Profession, given the latter's occupation as a hotel owner and are taking some time to learn a thing or two about advertising and promoting Hotel Transylvania. So far, it seems to be working out, though their weakness to sunlight renders it that Mavis's friends and husband, Johnny, sometimes take it upon themselves to take day shifts. They've attracted the most popularity in the Houses of Otherness and Life And Death.
    • While one would expect that the House of Undead would be among those that would hold a strong approval for Dracula and Mavis's attempts to promote their hotel business, the two were surprised to see that it wasn't really the case. Only the Hall of Vampires actually showed good interest, the rest were more concerned with tending to their own matters or working on dominating the Pantheon in darkness, which Mavis found boring. It also didn't help that the representing guardians of the House were, for the most part, total jerks, especially Nagash, who, while responsible for the creating of Vampires and the Undead in his home universe, actively couldn't care less about them either and would rather see them as mere extensions of his will.
    • Another way of getting to promote their hotel reputation is by attending the House of Music. And why is that? Because Dracula happens to be a pretty good rapper. The idea of Dracula rapping sounded ludicrous, but Mavis's father is somehow able to make it work. Sometimes, she'll join in with singing a few songs, though she prefers it with Johnny. It helps out in a lot of ways in that they've become pretty popular there plus a few monsters who happen to be Dracula's acquaintances have developed some interest in attending the House of Music with them, which Dracula and Mavis are proud of.
  • While she does stand out in that regard, the idea of a human having a romantic relationship and starting a family with someone not of their kind is not as rare as it sounds, though it wouldn't be common either. Mavis, nevertheless, was thrilled to see that sort of thing be accepted in the Pantheon (for the most part) and made friends with Luka and Alice XVI, who were able to prove their love for one another, though interactions with Luka can get... awkward, though not by Luka's fault. Alice, however, doesn't take any offense to it, given that Mavis herself would be worried about Johnny and would just prefer to see Luka as a friend.
  • She does acknowledge the fact that there are just as many good vampires as there are more malicious ones and would drop her usual quirky personality the moment she hears or comes into contact with the worst of them, Count Orlok, a sinister knockoff to Dracula himself, once tried to attend Hotel Transylvania as a guest in an effort to prove his dominance, but Dracula himself caught notice and wrestled him out. To make matters worse (in Orlok's case), Mavis and Dennis were just as capable of delivering a beatdown to him whenever needed. Orlok himself swears revenge, plus the fact that Dracula and his family are accepting towards humans frustrates him a lot as he believes that vampires should inherently be evil.
    • Vlad von Carstein has a complicated family history. He sincerely loved his wife, whom he only turned into a vampire because she was dying from a plague. Despite his war against Humanity, he was willing to employ them under his services, provided they defeated loyalty to him and since then, he's become a lot more at ease in helping Mankind against Chaos. His "sons", Mannfred and Konrad... are not any good, to say the least. Not surprisingly, Mavis hates them just as much as anyone else, both are contemptuous and condescending madmen who feel entitled to being their "father's" succession (despite both disliking Vlad) and only care about themselves (more so for Mannfred whose selfishness doomed his world). Vlad, while a ruthless warlord, is nonetheless respectful and noble enough to get along with Mavis's father and see her as a good successor in a sense. She doesn't bear any ill will on Vlad, though his reputation does make her rather nervous whenever they meet. Vlad himself seems more interested in how Mavis was able to conceive a child with Johnny as vampires in Vlad's world are literally unable to reproduce and conceive a child.
    • The Alucard who is Mathias Cronqvist actually bears a certain similarity to Mavis, namely in that their mother was killed by disproportionate prejudice when they were very little and both were impacted heavily by the ordeal; Mavis was sheltered in Hotel Transylvania by her father which stunted her emotional growth and maturity and Alucard grew distant from his father until they became enemies when he realized Mathias was willing to destroy humankind either to conquer the world or drag vampirekind to extinction as well. The idea of the two bonding over losing their mothers felt really awkward, but it did help them to understand their pain and grief. Alucard is glad to see that Mavis's father was able to patch up his problems and acknowledge his daughter's needs whereas Mavis was saddened to learn that Mathias has no hope for redemption, even if he comes to admit regret for his actions. Though she is afraid of him, Mavis does want to see Mathias change for the better, but like Alucard, she knows it's not happening at all.
  • Like all of vampirekind, she is opposes by Meridia for simply being an undead, meaning that Mavis, just like any other vampire, is a perversion to life, according to Meridia. Mavis finds this perspective too mean-spirited and unwanted and wanted to find out about what's the big deal with Meridia being so worked up about the Undead. Turns out, her Arch-Enemy, Molag Baal is responsible for the creation of vampirekind through a very questionable sort of action and takes pride out of it. Mavis herself got the point of where the enmity comes from, but she still finds it annoying that Meridia wants to take her frustration out on all undead, which she saw as stupid. Meridia simply thinks Mavis is being an immature idiot about how she herself sees the undead, though to her dismay, not only does Mavis make a good point, but Meridia seems to be making herself up as a fool by having a ridiculously petty view on the undead in general.
  • She sometimes takes visitations in the Hall of Mothers to take some sessions on how better herself as a mother while she drops Dennis at the House of Childhood and Adolescence where he could have fun with other kids around his age whilst Johnny looks after him and makes sure he doesn't stray far. Due to her inexperience in maturity, she ends up being more of a child there than a mother, much a lot of residents' amusement. Sure, she learns something about parenting and dotes and provides for son very nicely, but she's still just as much of a child as she was a century ago. Still, she's eager to want to act like a mature woman at some point.
  • The trope that she used to represent was formerly held by one of the Scarlet Sisters, Remilia, though in her case, Remilia had to spend centuries enduring her stunted emotional growth and the same thing could be applied to her sister, Flandre. That said, Flandre has little control over her destructive powers and thus, has to be sealed in the Scarlet Devil Mansion and be checked upon by her older sister for support. Mavis finds the case to be sad, but given her similar circumstances, despite being bought upon by overprotection and worry, decided to try to help them out in some way. She and Remilia quickly connected and became friends, but Flandre was harder to deal with. Remilia has tried to get her sister to get acquainted with the former's friends, though the effort does get difficult as Flandre can lapse into an uncontrollably destructive if left unchecked. Despite this, Mavis has assured that she'll help Remilia in getting Flandre to be more cooperative.

[tup] for Mavis.

1 day since Sgt. Franklin Paddock received 2 [tup]s. Made some last minute additions and changes, and I think this version is more or less the final one. Anything else needed?

Baker: "Paddock! Can you get me and Holden up there?"

Paddock: "I could get a piano up there!"

Sgt. Franklin Paddock, Patron Saint of Soldiers Hailing From The Countryside (Paddock, Kansas Boy, Mr. Deathwish)

Paddock as part of the 101st Airborne's recon teams during Operation Market-Garden, September 1944
Paddock as part of the 502nd PIR during the Normandy landings in June 1944
Paddock: "Hehehe...You should see the look on ya'll's faces!"
Doyle: "Did you forget the password?"
Paddock: "Naw, I remembered...Flash answered by thunder and all that. I could see plain as day it was Red from 3rd squad."
Doyle: "We could have shot you."
Paddock: "Well, damn good thing you didn't, right? Shit, I'd have been mighty ticked off."
Doyle: "We should keep moving."
  • From then on he would be working alongside Hartsock and occasionally Baker during their missions in Normandy. Among these would include ambushing a German artillery convoy in a French hamlet, relieving the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment near Hell's Corners, and helping Hartsock and Corrion stall a German offensive outside of Carentan.
  • Following Hartsock's own promotion to Sergeant the day after the Battle of Bloody Gulch, Paddock was assigned as his squad's Assault Team Leader. It was in this position that he helped Hartsock and the rest of 2nd squad clear Carentan, fight their way into Baupte, and help clear St. Sauveur le Vicomte.
    • Paddock would continue leading Hartsock's assault team in this position well into Operation Market-Garden. At one point, he assists SSgt. Matthew Baker in clearing a German-occupied church. In the process, he ends up saving the Sergeant from a German sniper, by pushing the German out of a window. As it turns out, said sniper was responsible for the death of Lt. Col. Robert Cole, an officer that both Baker and Hartsock had been under command of during the Normandy battles.
Paddock:"Hey, I'll be sending the rest of your friends your way real soon!" *Pushes German to his death*
  • During the fight for control of Veghel, however, things would change, arguably for the worse. While Veghel was successfully captured and held by the 101st and XXX corps, a mortar shell ended up badly wounding Hartsock, killing "Friar" Winchell, and wounding several others including Baker.
  • This event would ultimately lead to Paddock being recommended for promotion by Baker. As a Sergeant, Paddock would take over command of 2nd squad and take orders from Baker, helping the Staff Sergeant take the Dutch town of Koevering. Here, he served as a Target Spotter for Allied artillery, and ended up accidentally causing more than a few friendly fire incidents...
    • It was also revealed following this promotion that Paddock also was able to correctly deduce who in 2nd squad was most likely to get killed in Holland, namely Marsh and Friar, who were indeed killed mere days after he predicted this and told it to the rest of his squad. It's also revealed that that he even regretted saying this, and genuinely felt like he had sent his own friends to their deaths because of it.
Paddock: "I was just tryin' to point out a hole in our unit. I didn't mean to sound so cruel..."
  • Paddock would be last seen alongside the rest of 2nd and 3rd squad during Baker's Rousing Speech at the end of their story. His whereabouts and fate following this are thus far unknown, no thanks to his and Baker's story being unfinished.
  • Having already been in the Pantheon for a while as one of Hartsock's and Baker's Heralds, Paddock, having already been promoted to Sergeant even before being dropped into the Pantheon, is given his own Temple by none other than Major Winters, having witnessed Paddock's skill and bravery in combat firsthand. Unlike the two Sergeants as well as Jasper and Connor, however, he has no Herald of his own, due to his previous subordinates having been killed in Holland, and having parted with them on very bad terms no thanks to his own words.
  • Like Pfc. Jasper and Pfc. Connor, however, Paddock, on occasion, still assists both Baker and Hartsock on their missions behind German lines. With his own Temple now, however, he also frequently accompanies other US and sometimes British soldiers on other missions, usually against various Nazi soldiers and officers.
    • He's one of the few American soldiers who actually approves of The Basterd's methods due to being a Blood Knight himself, though he still thinks that carving swastikas onto their heads is a bit too far.
    • He's also pretty close with B.J. Blaskowicz, no thanks to also being good at killing Nazis and being enthusiastic about it. The "Kansas Boy" frequently accompanies the Nazi Hunter on more than a few dangerous missions, just so he can get a piece of the action.
    • Surprisingly, he's been recommended by Lt. Mike Powell to be part of the attacking force on the planned raid on Fort Schmerzen, thanks in part to Paddock's surprisingly good deduction for where the Germans would likely place defenses.
    • Paddock has also been working closely with both Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes as an honorary Howling Commando. It helps that the Sergeant from Kansas was able to help them locate an apparently hidden HYDRA facility in a seemingly uninhabited forest.
    • Of all the ascended American paratroopers, Paddock is most often seen working alongside Cpl. Boyd Travers. And thanks to Paddock's past experience with destroying German artillery pieces, sometimes singlehandedly, Travers has asked the Sergeant to help him in the planned assault and destruction of Der Flakturm, alongside several other paratroopers including Hartosck and Baker.
    • The only Allied soldiers who don't welcome his help are the OSS agents Lt. Karl Fairburne and Lt. Mike Powell, given that their missions are mostly of the stealthy kind, and someone loud like Paddock could jeopardize their missions and end in either their capture or death.
  • During one mission while serving under Baker, he ends up saving the Staff Sergeant once again from a Waffen Senior Trooper, a sniper variant of the Waffen Infantry. And once again, he ends up shoving the German soldier to his death. In fact, every time he comes up against these German snipers, he now begins doing this on a regular basis.
  • During his first encounter with the Valkyrie Jager, an elite German paratrooper unit, he was astonished at their arsenal, which were so much more effective than the Grease Gun he was using. Despite this, however, he was still able to outwit them and survive, even capturing a few of their nice weapons and handing them over to other Allied soldiers for their use.
  • While accustomed to dealing with Waffen-SS and Falschirmjager units (having already fought both kinds of soldiers in Normandy and the Netherlands), even this couldn't prepare him against the far more competent and deadly Waffen Storm Leaders and Nazi Storm Elites. To Paddock, the Waffen Storm Leaders were essentially the Panzergrenadiers but on steroids, given that they have arsenal as the former but are far more competent. The Nazis Storm Elites were a different story for him, however, as he was immediately startled at how durable each of them were, not to mention their Improbable Aiming Skills with a light machine gun. Had it not been for Cpl. Boyd Travers accompanying him during this particular encounter, Paddock most certainly would have been killed in action.
    • To say that Paddock was surprised when he later found out that there were worse, and far more powerful Nazis in the Pantheon, would be an understatement. And not just bulletproof Nazis like what he had just encountered, but also vampire Nazis, Nazis with mechs, etc.
  • Pvt. Robert Zussman gets along rather well with Paddock, thanks in huge part to the Sergeant reminding him of Cpl. Ronald Daniels, another Southern-Fried Private. Like Paddock, Daniels is known for being brash, insubordinate, but also a very competent frontline soldier.
  • Like Jasper, he gets along well with the 501st JFW, though for a while he genuinely thought the Karlslandians were affiliated with the Krauts, which initially led to a Mexican Standoff that was ultimately ended when the aformentioned Jasper vouched for them. Thankfully, his trust in the Military Mage unit is earned when the latter save himself and a few other of his fellow paratroopers from a Neuroi attack.
  • At one point, he almost ends up throwing a grenade into the Oarai Anglerfish Team's Panzer IV, before realizing that the Panzer IV he was attacking wasn't in German markings, much less knowing that the crew members weren't hostile German tankers. A similar incident happens with Maho Nishizumi and her Tiger I tank. While the outcome of his realization and subsequent apology isn't known, what is known is that Paddock must be kept away from them in order to avoid a repeat and any potential innocent casualties.
