Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I guess you can say I'm doing both but moreso on the animated version since there's no way to make a profile out of a children's book that used 50 words. The problem with the adaptation one is that this one has huge twists and turns (as much as a Dr. Seuss adaptation can get) that I can't spoil and I can only go so far since we have to wait till Season 2 drops before I can continue.

Aside from being Trope Namer for I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham, the way they handled it in the series is actually much better. The book had Sam just pressure Guy to no end, but how Guy does it in the animated series is 1) by his own volition and 2) it actually is a meaningful gesture due to something that is a HUGE spoiler.

So yeah, sorry about my attitude. Again, I kinda find it hard to feel like I "fit" in the Pantheon any more because of how I can't easily find profiles to write/trying to get back to studying online.

Thanks Bazzard, I needed it.

In the meantime, another duo that's gotten my attention is Wirt and Greg from Over the Garden Wall. I want to see if I can make them gods of the Subverted Trope since the show loves pulling the wool over our eyes on various horror-based tropes before revealing the twist (and it ties into the theme of not to fear the unknown). Would this work out or perhaps Don't Go Into the Woods due to the Unknown in a location of a spooky forest and all?

Zubat and Golbat, Unholy Colony of Perpetually Annoying Encounters (The Bat Pokémon)

Zubat
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/golbat042.png
Golbat
  • Demideities (Zubat) and Lesser Deities (Golbat)
  • Returning To: Enemies
  • [tup]s:
  • Theme Song: Mt. Moon (Pokémon Red and Blue)
  • Symbol: Their faces and open mouths
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Gender: Mixed
  • Ability: Inner Focus
  • Moves: Leech Life, Supersonic, Absorb, Bite, Wing Attack, and Confuse Ray, though trained variants have, Mean Look, Poison Fang and Acrobatics
    • Z-Moves: Varies between Acid Downpour, Supersonic Skystrike, and Black Hole Eclipse depending on the Zubat/Golbat
  • Portfolio: Deceptively Hard-to-Defeat Enemies, Cave-Dwelling Pokémon, Bats, Found In All Sorts of Locales, Flying-type, Poison-type, Draining HP With Leech Life And Absorb, Sound-Based Moves
  • Domains (Types): Bats, Annoyance, Poison
  • Heralds: Tentacool, Wingull, Yungoos
  • Followers: Fleamen, Future predators, and... bats. Lots and lots of other species of cave bats.
  • Allies: Naka, Brock, Riku, Chuggaaconroy, the Bat Family, Gladion
  • Conflicting Opinions: Team Rocket, and all other villainous teams in the Pokémon World (lesser extent for Maxie, Archie, and Cyrus)
  • Enemy: All Electric-type, Rock-type, and Psychic-type users
  • Not to Be Confused With: Kaiketsu Zubat
  • When it comes to aggravating Random Encounters that players hate facing (not for their difficulty, but for their annoyance to take down), none are more infamous than the Zubat evolutionary line. Absurdly high encounter rates, ludicrous speed, HP draining attacks, and Confusion-inducing moves make for a huge nuisance. And when Zubat become small fry, their evolutions Golbat pick up the slack with potent poisoning, escape prevention, and forced turn skipping by way of flinching. The only reason their final stage Crobat is not counted is because they're only encountered under trainers since Happiness is required to evolve them to that stage.
  • Despite having their own temple/cave in the House of Gaming, they can be found in caves all over the Pantheon, often getting into competition with other cave-dwelling bats and expies of such.
  • Through capture, training and The Power of Friendship, Zubat can one day gain great power to aid in the battle against evil. It was stuck in the Villains house before the opening of the Gaming house just because how it annoys many Pokémon trainers in their quest to attain heroism. Doesn't help that Zubat is the most common Pokémon among the grunts of the Pokémon world's villainous teams.
  • Of all gods to make friends with Zubat was Chuggaaconroy, who captured Zubat and evolved it into a Crobat that he calls…Acrobat.
    • Brock has also shown that he has captured a Zubat (which also evolved into Crobat) in the past, so at least they have trusted company now.
    • Riku has given a hint that whenever his Komory Bat is in the Pokémon world, it takes on the form of a Crobat.
  • While not having any particulars, the Zubat and Golbat are occasional aid for the Bat family whenever they call up for bats to harass the enemy. And boy are they good at it.
  • While a popular Pokémon used by the villainous teams, they have no real opinions on some of the leaders (or the Rocket trio), as they have none of their own in their parties. Actually, their is disdain for Ghetsis because he's that despicable. There's a bit more respect for Maxie, Archie, and Cyrus given they own Golbats that eventually evolved into Crobats.

Vincent Brooks, God of Climbing to Survive (Man Drinking Alone, The Man of Legends)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Vincent_Brooks_1731.png
  • Quasideity (Demigod in his Nightmares, Greater God in the True Cheater Ending)
  • [tup]s: 2 (The Wikia Editor, kingvideogames)
  • Symbol: Pillow and pink polka-dot boxer
  • Theme Song: Also Sprach Brooks
  • Alignment: True Neutral (remains so or shifts to Neutral Good in the Neutral/Freedom/Rin's Ending, shifts to Lawful Good at the Commitment Ending, and shifts to Chaotic Neutral at the Cheater Ending)
  • Portfolio: The Everyman, Wears Underwear in His Nightmare, Jaw Drops Much of His Life, Determined to Survive in his Nightmare, Choice of Commitment or Freedom or Something Else, Terrible Liar, Nice Guy, Grew a Spine, Large Ham, Helping Others With The Same Struggle As He, Happily Married (potentially)
  • Domains: Climbing, Survival, Relationship
  • Heralds: Katherine McBride, Catherine, and Qatherine/"Rin"/Ydoblluf Enirehtaq (his Love Interest options)
  • Allies: Homer Simpson, Moe, Harth Stonebrew, Ysera, NiGHTS
  • Enemies: Bane, Junko Enoshima, The High Sparrow
  • Cautious Around: All succubi in general, Darkrai, Lucifer
  • Opposed by: Poland
  • Vincent Brooks is a thirty-two year old in a relationship with his girlfriend, Katherine McBride, but was too indecisive in regards to marriage. When the enigmatic beauty named Catherine appeared in his life, everything is dragged into a nightmare. Literally, he is trapped in a nightmare where he must climb to the top in order to survive or else he will die in the real world.
  • Due to the nature of Multiple Endings, this Vincent is one of nine potential versions of his future, selected by an unidentified deity. In four of them, he doesn't get either the succubus Catherine or his old girlfriend Katherine McBride, two where it's by his own choice, two in where the girl he chose turns him down but at least he is now free to get his life back on track. In two, he lives in the Netherworld with Catherine, and in one of those, he took it over from her bumbling father. In two others, he makes it up to Katherine, and in one of them they shortly marry. The Vincent that came is the one where he doesn't pick either girl and pursues his dreams of space tourism, after which he was invited to the Pantheon.
    • However, things became murkier with the reveal of the Full Body story, which showed a new Love Interest (Qathe)Rin(e), and more endings, like one where he goes back in time with Catherine and they start over from there until they eventually marry (with Catherine living the human life), one where Katherine breaks up with him but is able to get a better life (as a model) and convinces Vincent to do the same, and two where he goes for the new love interest Rin instead and either he leaves to find himself and help others with his powers before he and Vincent eventually come back together or they swiftly marry in a few months and hold a space tour (with Vincent becoming a producer and Rin soaring in his pianist career).
    • This question was sort-of answered when his heralds arrived, and it proved to be a brief nightmare; the three (K/C/Q)atherines he had to choose between were all picked, resulting in a brief Cat Fight started by the succubus on the crossdressing angel/alien that Brooks and McBride had to break up. As it turns out, each of the girls came from the extra Full Body endings, which is why Katherine didn't partake in the Cat Fight; she has since moved on from Vincent in her ending. As a result of the Cat Fight however, it is now known that Rin is a boy as well as an extraterrestrial and that Catherine was the one tempting Vincent when he thought he was cheating. A representative from the Court of the Gods eventually stepped in and made arrangements.
  • After clearing things up and seeing what can be done to avoid another fight, he was approached by Issei Hyodo, who has experience with handling a harem, and he and his companions helped with finding a good compromise that even Catherine can agree to. -what to be done here?-
  • He recognized Makoto Yuki as that kid he met in Club Escapade at Paulownia Mall. When they first met, he told him that his story will probably have nothing to do with Makoto's problems. And then he heard of the Dark Hour S.E.E.S. operated in.
    • Having confronted his Shadow back in his nightmares before, Vincent decided doing so again in the TV World wouldn't be a bad idea. Makoto volunteered to escort him (along with a few of his S.E.E.S. friends) Getting a Persona out of the deal seems to be pretty sweet, and thanks to his encounter with Makoto, he's able to use it outside, too.
  • Even though she sees potential in him, Kyu decided to respectfully back off from taking him in as a client. With what he's been through, he's probably not ready. It doesn't help that in some of his endings, he's already happily married, and it's in her rules not to go after such people, no matter the gender of the couple.
  • Due to his experience with Catherine, who is revealed to be a succubus, he doesn't like to be near others like Morrigan and Lilith Aensland. Catherine is enough, thank you very much.
  • Hideri Kanzaki, Bridget, and Astolfo do remind him of Rin's situation, all being cute crossdressing boys.
  • Princess Cadance pities him for the hell he had to endure, and plans to tear Thomas Mutton a new one for putting him and many others through such a trying ordeal, even if it's to continue population growth by weeding out cheaters.
  • Because he endured in The Great Trials in his Nightmares for a week, he doesn't like those who bring nightmares which could force him back in if they had the power. He seeks the help of some dream deities that could help him sleep well just in case these Nightmares could be recreated in the Pantheon.
    • He doesn't enjoy being in Darkrai's company, since he can cause bad dreams. This guy needs a supply of Lunar Wings. Though, Bane enjoyed making an illusion of his Nightmares when he is put to sleep by him.
    • Though Luna would help with his dreams, if she sees that he is going to start another relationship problem, especially with Rin and Catherine, she might restore the Nightmare again just to teach him a lesson.
  • He is usually seen drinking at the House of Food. He befriended Homer as his drinking buddy, and thinks Moe is alright considering how his old bartender, The Boss, essentially started his Nightmares and was his final obstacle.
  • He once played an arcade game based on Rapunzel in which is similar to his Nightmares. He told both Rapunzel and Flynn Rider that he hoped that their marriage lasts forever.
  • He meets with those experienced with tarot cards who tells him about how his trials were similar to the story of the Lovers Arcana. He was put on a crossroad where he choose either a young romantic woman who represents Catherine or an older wise woman who represents Katherine. Of course, he could take another path if he wanted to and he took it.
  • He doesn't usually speak to high school students, but he feels very uncomfortable when speaking with the Yukari Takeba and Rise Kujikawa since the two sound too much like K/Catherine, it's both confusing and disturbing. Ironically, both of these girls represent the Lovers Arcana.
    • Another he avoids is Ann Takamaki, mainly since she's reminiscent of Catherine appearance-wise (and has even dressed as her on occasion). Incidentally, just like the above two, she's also of the Lovers Arcana.
  • Despite K/Catherine being a common name, whenever ladies with that name ascend he's never sure if it's either McBride or the succubus. With the women named Catherine Kyoubashi and Katherine Anne Pryde, he realized that he was gladly mistaken.
  • Despite his complicated situation, he openly respects those that got married since they made a choice on commitment. Though he is in no position to oppose cheating, since he either was trapped in it or embraced it, he hoped that they don't suffer through the Nightmare he faced, depending on how bad they are.
    • He doesn't appreciate Makoto Itou for actively cheating on people. In fact, he was very nervous and even frightened of the love triangle the kid got himself into. Though he isn't old enough, he hoped that he doesn't have to suffer through the same thing he faced in his nightmares.
    • He doesn't know how he feels about the love goddess Aphrodite, who is known to have multiple lovers.
    • Ironically, he doesn't know how he feels about harems since it's not technically cheating when there are multiple partners holding interest in one person. Though Issei Hyodo is shown to have the most stable harem as in the future, all the girls have a child with him and are in a happy family.
      • It is worth noting that Lucifer "respects" him for that one timeline where he became the new Lord of the Underworld and got himself a harem of demonesses, spending million of maccas (currency) for his honeymoon with said demon harem to compensate for what his friend Ishtar (or rather her human guise Trisha) put him through. Vincent isn't sure what to say about this.
    • He pitied both Korra and Asami when they dated Mako as he cheated on both with each other, although he's surprised that they became a couple with each other instead.
  • Whether or not he's actually chose Rin, the fact that he's not a strict homosexual has earned him the enmity of heterosexists such as Junko Enoshima, The High Sparrow, and Poland.

AUG again. The bit about her outfit referencing 2B has been adjusted and moved up to the third bullet. If that still gets missed I don't know what to tell ya.

Anyways, with Continuum Turbulence running G&K is now in conflict with two recently introduced enemies: The White Faction (who's motives later in future events in older servers make them out to be a Cult with a pechant for using Human Resources in their rank and file) and the ELID infectees. Anything for that?

There's also her inability to express sorrow through tears and dislike for white clothing if it means anything.

  • By the 2060s the battlefield is practically dominated by the use of T-Dolls. Manpower is limited and there are machines that are not only faster than their masters but also stronger and overall much more suited to the task. Despite being intended as simple manpower many T-Dolls are as human-like as they come, including even the emotional capabilities to match their masters. But what's the point in such additions? Why allow them to mirror us so? What separates the way we feel as real compared to how dolls feel? Are we not also "programmed" to express emotions as well? And would that not be such a burden to them as well, especially as enlisted weapons of war? Whatever is the case, it is here we meet AUG: A white-haired doll who dresses in all black as though she's tending to the recently departed. Ever so serene, the aura she gives off is nothing short of melancholic and it only adds to this bud's allure as does her distinct floral fragrance.
  • This time around G36 and Contender pushed for AUG's ascension to the Pantheon when opportunity arose in the form of them overhearing some discourse being thrown around of a vacant spot and that AUG was among the list of candidates. The next day they asked the situation to the Court of Gods but they reported that AUG, to their complete surprise, had already ascended and made her way to the Pantheon. And so the two T-Dolls went and asked all around to regroup with their comrade though eventually it was narrowed down to a place in the House of Plants. Here in a remote area in the forestry AUG sat on a bench with a roof over her head enchanted by the scenery even in its current heavy downpour.
    • It had turned out AUG ascended under the title of Whole Costume References which refers to the fact that her clothing bears an almost unmistakable appearance to 2B. The YoRHa android herself as well as her partner 9S can attest to that after having been prompted to meet up and ally with the T-Doll like with the others in the past. The two found, however, that it didn't stop at just appearances. Ask AUG to put on the visors the YoRHa androids use and have 2B wear a lunar tear then compare the two: You will start to see double. 9S himself summed up that the resemblance is uncanny, and in some ways it would be unsettling had she instead been an enemy. The similarities go further with two being on the receiving end of a Mercy Kill from a virus. For information on that see below.
  • She is the Number Two to IWS-2000, a clumsy and gentle T-Doll dressed in white who strives to be relied on. She is also apart of the playable dolls who packs a mean anti-material rifle as large as she is with the respective firepower to boot. AUG serves as her adviser and the way she responses to her IWS can seem cold and distant her intentions are in a good place.
    • They alongside their team take center stage in the Chapter 8 Night Battle Storyline Eagle and Jackdaw where they deal with the threat of Sangvis Ferri employing an WMD against Griffin and Kryueger. With repeated failures in their mission lately IWS has been having actual dreams during her repairs. Dreams that seem oddly reminiscent of things to come. Events would reveal that the WMD they were going after wasn't so much as a dirty bomb but something more subtle: Neurotoxin. And both them and another squadron were tricked by SF Ringleader Dreamer into unknowingly coating themselves with it during their investigation only to bring about their Commander's demise when they return. Though able to warn the other squad in time, AUG was forced to afflict herself with the Parapluie Virus in order to communicate with them, forcing IWS to execute her subordinate. While AUG would recover through a Body Backup Drive IWS would have to live with the memory of her comrade dying, coming full circle from not only IWS's dream but also what AUG had also gone through during these events after having lived through her teammate's repeated failures and subsequent deaths with them being none the wiser.
  • You would be mistaken but also forgiven to think she is a completely Emotionless Girl. Underneath that serene expression she is capable of emotion just as any other doll, but she has particular difficulty expressing sorrow. Save for the yellow Tears of Blood AUG is Unable to Cry by command. Though she is able to give off a smile once in a while but these only come around during rainfall. In the Pantheon where many of its environments are by comparison much more lush and vibrant compared to the Collapse Fluid infected and worn-torn world where she comes from she can't help but find the rain here nothing short from breathtaking.
AUG: I like rainy days. The rain lets my expression look... more natural.
  • Since the events of Eagle and Jackdaw, AUG is in many ways cautious of Sigma due to his nature as the Sigma Virus after having merged with the Maverick Virus. Though she may not show it, AUG does dread the damage it could cause should it get a hold of her or her friends. Similarly, she feels the same about the Technocyte Infestation as despite being a physical plague it is perfectly capable of assimilating both flesh and metal on the molecular level. Thus, it perfectly capable of turning anything into a Technically Living Zombie, somewhat akin to what Collapse Fluid exposure does to the unfortunate people that survive, but on a whole different level. Luckily for her, X and Zero don't take the threat of Sigma lying down and are willing to help the T-Dolls with him as well as the Infested.
  • She, much akin to her T-Doll companions have felt before her, is not all too fond of evil militaries. The above situation involving the neurotoxin came from the New Soviet Union's military developing it and abandoning it in the first place. And then there's the situation in which KCCO, a faction within the Soviet Military, decided to betray the entire PMC for their own interests alone and are perfectly willing to wipe out both G&K and Sangvis Ferri. In that regard AUG finds the likes of the Helghast, the Rebel Army, and the Grineer no different in that regard. Especially so since KCCO was a very formidable opponent back in her world and the armies the three show off in the Pantheon are no slouches either, perhaps in some aspects even surpassing them in power as well.
  • "We are tools used to replace humans on the battlefield. Therefore, a human life is saved every time we die in their place."

@Camilla

Subverted Trope sounds too broad for me. Don't Go in the Woods is taken by Helheim Forest, but that's a dominion and I''m not sure if a deity and dominion can share the same trope if they come from a different work.

[up] Yes, actually. It was decided that a deity and dominion can possess trope independent of their work of origin.

After some deliberation, I've decided to change Blofeld's first trope to Nebulous Criminal Conspiracy. For the same reasons as Covert Group, but since N.C.C. has more blatant and exclusive connections to Blofeld I have done as such.

  • Enemies: Scott Shelby, Hannibal Lecter, YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law, The Illuminati, AM, Skynet, Master Control Program, HAL 9000, SHODAN
  • On a cold night in New York City in January 2009, a man was stabbed to death in the restroom of an East Side diner, with the killer, Lucas Kane, fleeing the scene shortly after. Detectives Carla Valenti and Tyler Miles were put in charge of solving the murder. However, what began as a murder mystery eventually escalated into a fantastical story involving Mayan cults, evil A.I. and supernatural powers.
  • Lucas Kane suddenly appeared within the Pantheon one day, with no idea of how he had gotten there. Initially suspecting the Oracle and the Orange Clan had tried to kidnap him in order to acquire the secret of the universe, Lucas was brought to the Main House and informed that the Orange Clan weren't present in the Pantheon. Simultaneously confused and relieved, Lucas proceeded to tell his story to the gods. When he concluded his story, the gods were quite impressed with how it got gradually stranger as it went along and offered to ascend him. He accepted, but requested that his wife Carla Valenti and her partner Tyler Miles ascend alongside him, which was granted.
  • They quickly managed to befriend Norman Jayden, Jodie Holmes and Aiden, whom they suspect might originate from the same world. While Norman occasionally teams up with Carla and Tyler, Jodie tends to hang out more with Lucas, whom she bonded with due to him also having powers and his ability to perceive Aiden.
  • They're also on good terms with law enforcers such as the Virtua Cops, Lucia Morgan, Caitlyn and Vi. While not a police officer himself, Lucas' powers allow him to work more efficiently and keep up better with Caitlyn and Vi.
  • They strongly oppose serial killers like Scott Shelby and Hannibal Lecter. Lucas dislikes Shelby due to the ordeal that he had put Ethan through, which reminds Lucas of how he himself had been possessed by the Oracle in order to kill someone. On the other hand, Carla is greatly unnerved by Hannibal Lecter due to how much he reminds her of what she experienced with Anton Janos at Bellevue Asylum.
  • Due to their experiences with the Orange Clan, they strongly dislike any conspiracy groups who seek to control other people. As a result, they oppose YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law as well as the Illuminati. Lucas suspects that members of those groups might have been responsible for his presence in the Pantheon in order to acquire the secret of the universe, which makes him especially wary of them.
  • Similarly, their encounters with the Purple Clan have resulted in them strongly opposing evil A.I. As such, they quickly became enemies with AM, Skynet, Master Control Program, HAL 9000 and SHODAN.
  • Lucas only:
    • Born and raised on a remote Wishita military base by his scientist parents, Lucas had periodic clairvoyant visions since his early childhood for reasons he did not understand. The disturbing nature of those visions had a severe emotional impact on him as a child, driving him to isolate himself from others. As an adult, Lucas worked as an IT manager and head of computer maintenance for the Naser & Jones Bank in Manhattan. However, his simple life was turned upside down when he was suddenly possessed by an unearthly force that drove him to murder a random man in the bathroom of a local diner. His visions, which had long been dormant, suddenly resurfaced with an increased frequency and potency following the events at the diner. He also discovered that since that night, he possessed enhanced speed, strength and reflexes, as well as the emergence of telekinetic abilities and temporary flight.
    • Lucas became good friends with Neo after noticing how much he their powers resembled each other. He's also on good terms with Gandalf and Phoenix Ikki, as he's also returned from death stronger than he was before.
  • Carla only:
    • Carla was born in Brooklyn, New York to Giuseppe Valenti and Anne Irpino as an only child, she is of Italian-American descent. Carla was known among the other members of the NYPD for her intense work ethic and commitment to the job, to the point that it appeared excessive. However, in reality, her devotion to her work was, in part, her own way of compensating for her lack of any personal life and few friends. Carla is naturally inquisitive and completionist, tending to brood over cases which appear to go nowhere, and is prepared to spend long hours poring over evidence in the hopes of finding one vital clue which may have been missed.
    • Her experience with interrogating serial killers resulted in her befriending Will Graham and Clarice Starling, whom she regularly teams up with in pursuit of apprehending Hannibal Lecter. Her claustrophobia also caused her to bond with Captain Hawkeye Pierce and Storm of the X-Men, both of whom share her phobia.
  • Tyler only:
    • Tyler Miles grew up in the Bronx and has three brothers and two sisters. He lead a rough life and this gave him passion for his police work in the hopes of making a difference, to the dismay of his fiance Samantha Malone due to her terror of him being hurt in the line of duty. Tyler, contrary to Carla's serious bearing, has a much more lackadaisical and upbeat attitude towards life, but his devotion to the job and to his fiance is unquestionable.
    • He's on very good terms with Luke Cage, who respects him for his similar desire to make New York a safer place. He also managed to bond with Ichiro Sato and Ryoko Sato, whose break up and subsequent getting back together again reminds him of his own ordeals with his fiance Sam. He also managed to befriend the Autobot Jazz due to their shared taste in music.

Guys, is anyone gonna answer my question?! For Wirt and Greg, it's either...

Subverted Trope: many horror or fairytale tropes that are played throughout the story get twisted. Each of them are played to emphasize the aesop of not to fear the unknown.

Or...

Don't Go Into the Woods: as the story begins with Wirt and Greg entering the unknown which is a dark forest.

Fine I can wait. I'm kinda busy as it is.

Oh and remember what I said about waiting for Green Eggs and Ham Season 2? Well, that's coming in April so I should I put the profile on hold or upload it and then edit once Season 2 comes out?

Reposting this suggestion of an obscure manga since everybody got sidetracked.

  • Ash Lynx & Eiji Okumura, Gods of Updated Era Settings Reasoning: The anime adaptation updates the time period from the 80's to the 2010s and the differences are very notable, such as changing from 'Nam into the Iraqian War in the story's prelude.
    • Alternatively, there's also Tragic Bromance since they got along really close during their dangerous adventure and their friendship has a lot of ups and downs with them arguing, and then it later ends with one of them dying and the other vowing to never marry again.

Turns out, Melkor had been seeing events through the perspective of Elliot; there was never an "Evil Corp", the company was always simply known as E Corp. Price, not realizing what was going on and finding himself near a skyscraper, walked into a busy city street. Melkor... was not amused by what had happened.
  • It didn't take long for Price to realize that he was in a new world and that somehow, in some way, E Corp also exists alongside it. To his surprise, he saw that the company was running pretty smoothly and that this new world wasn't plagued by worldwide debt and authoritarian control. Not noticing Whiterose's presence and the fact that E Corp was doing fine with a new CEO, Price decided to settle down and retreat to a new household to manage himself and savor up some money. That said, he does get some earnings from E Corp due to his close ties as former CEO.
  • Although Price lives in peace in the Pantheon, its become no surprise to him that the Pantheon, now the new world that he lives in, is locked into a perpetual state of battle between different factions. Price couldn't really do much and stated that he's done his job and that to save the world from fantastical threats is something that he cannot contribute to, even if he wanted to.
    • Near E Corp's main entrance during a quiet midnight, Price was approached by Nagato. The former CEO initially had no idea what was going on, until Nagato told him about how he's secretly getting paid by E Corp as royalty fee. Price stated that he's retired and has since, got nothing to do before attempting to walk away. He was stopped when Nagato told him that Tyrell was also in the Pantheon and is currently unaware of Elliot's success in defeating the Dark Army, in addition to a growing presence of malicious businessmen who seek to use their companies to assert dominance. Nagato politely demanded Price to fund his money to him for the intent of developing tech to use against the many evil forces in the Pantheon. Price however rebuffed, stating that if his money is to be used, than it should be to benefit those in need. Taken aback, Nagato agreed with the terms.
    • Since his admission into Nagato's company, Price currently serves as the financial service, often being the one who provides money and budget to help out with development and planning. He's since made quick friends with Captain Cold as he adheres to standards and understands what Price wants to aim for. Additionally, the more he learned from Nagato, Price has since come to becoming more civil and agreeable with him, considering he also wanted to save the world, just like Elliot wanted to. That said, while he is available for help, Price will not have his money spent on weaponry, partly because a casualty will force him out of his reclusive life and partly because it would damage his reputation and force him into hiding.
  • His true identity as Angela's father and her subsequent death was what finally drove Price to fight for the greater good, although it was more out of a desire to avenge Angela. Because of this, he is in amicable graces with the Fathers Sub-House and he genuinely respects and fears those who are immensely dedicated to their children's protection. That said, not everyone is fond of him, case in point, Asura, who is disappointed in that Price could have been a far better father than in his mortal life. Angela not being in the Pantheon doesn't help matters.
    • Mithra does however send her condolences and is willing to help out his grievances and issues in settling and dealing with Pantheonic affairs. Knowing what Asura is truly capable of, Price usually acts his best towards Mithra. It helps in that his jovial and sophisticated demeanor isn't an act.
  • While he was corrupt and amoral throughout much of his mortal life, Price does have moral standards that he won't cross and maintains a sense of honor and civility in his business approach. Though E Corp is guilty of pollution to some extent, Price is willing to try correcting his mistake and thinks Mr. Burns is utterly reprehensible. Although E Corp is one of the biggest, most successful companies in the Pantheon, Price is taking measures to be pragmatic and careful about his connections.
    • He also utterly loathes Eliza and Neil Reagan, mainly because their snobbish and petty attitude completely clashes against Price's demeanor and unlike him, never grow and learn morally nor attempt to be something meaningful in their lives. That, and he thinks their treatment and bullying towards Candace White amounts to nothing. That said, while Price has more respect towards Candace, she doesn't really have much thoughts on him in return, though Price is willing to try helping her out with financial issues if need be.
  • As a redeeming villain, Price is seen with suspicion and doubt by many heroes in the Pantheon. Batman is among the most concerned as he has more than enough evidence to incriminate Price for his company's wrongdoings. Price on the other hand is very cautious about him, especially knowing what he is capable of. They have worked together in order to bring down Patrick Bateman at one point, but even then, their collaboration was incredibly uneasy at best. That said, at least the two aren't enemies.
    • Speaking of Bateman, he initially wanted to work under E Corp as a means to bolster his reputation and look cooler by working in one of the Pantheon's biggest conglomerates. Initially, Price allowed him in... until reports of murdered E Corp employees began to surface in distressing numbers. An investigation was ordered where after a long time, Bateman was finally ousted as the culprit. Ever since then, Bateman has retreated to the GUAE, seeking revenge.
  • He has Chester V nominated as his High Priest, which earned him disapproval from some residents of the Hose of Food. That said however, Price is able to keep Chester V in check thanks to the influence of E Corp and the threat of consolidating Live Corp into E Corp if Chester V ever tries to step away from Price's expectations deliberately. Chester V himself was initially confident in thinking he'll be able to weasel out of Price's control, but after learning of Price's allegiance with Nagato, that seems to be really unlikely.
    • Even then, it's actually made pretty clear that Price isn't exactly fond of Chester V himself. The reason the latter is the former's High Priest is mainly because of pragmatism and to further support the GUAG from the shadows. That, and E Corp still remains relatively unchallenged in the Pantheon given it's scope and general reputation.
  • He was able to eventually track down Tyrell and come into terms with Elliot's success in defeating the Dark Army. Tyrell however felt empty, knowing that his wife and son are not in the Pantheon with him. Price reciprocates with the absence of Angela, but as of now, the two are now thrust into a new world with new opportunities, which both Price and Tyrell are unsure of how to pursue it. Price has accepted to work as a financial benefactor for Nagato, but Tyrell is reserving to lead out a quiet life for now.
  • Despite his murky actions in his mortal life, Price has managed to endure his good reputation thanks to his personality. Despite this, he's not exactly on good terms with other successful businessmen like Lex Luthor, given that he's far too fixated on Superman above most things and that working with him would mean opposing the Justice League and several other heroes, a chance that Price knows won't work out for him. On the contrary, he's quite chummy with Speedwagon and Price has even offered a collaborating relation between E Corp and the Speedwagon Foundation. Despite being genuine with help, Speedwagon has declined mainly due to E Corp's shady reputation, though he doesn't hesitate to personally help Price at times.
  • As amoral as he was back then, even Price couldn't stand Tenjuro Banno. If anything, he ended up making a difficult truce with Go Shijima to make any set of plans to take him on. It helps that with E Corp's power and influence, Price can invest in projects designed to counter Banno's science to some extent, even being open to the idea of upgrading and developing new Kamen Rider suits, but for now, he's keeping himself reserved, so as not to catch too much of Banno's attention.
  • As a way to make up for his actions, Price has tried to be charitable and donate some of the profits he gets from E Corp to orphans and the poor in the Pantheon. It seems like a nice gesture, but another meeting with Nagato eventually led Price to realize that his actions might be seen as a try-hard by residents with the rate he's spending money on. He's since being more careful.
  • After some time, he was able to meet up with Elliot again at some point. Impressed with how they were able to defeat Whiterose, but still grieving over the loss of Angela, the two sometimes try to console with each other, now that their primary enemies are gone. That said, they also have to deal with new threats in the Pantheon, though for the time being, Price and Elliot are currently trying to adjust.
A con doesn’t work without the confidence.

  • For one to pursue great ambition, one may also be ready to partake and indulge in morally questionable acts to get ahead of the game. Enter Tyrell Wellick, a dedicated and focused employee for E Corp who's made it his life's work to become the company's CTO. However, going along with the grand ambition is a raving beast and childish impulse that would often get the best of him. Such was the case when Tyrell murdered the wife of his competitor when he won the position of CTO. However, Tyrell also took an interest in hacker Elliot Alderson, even wanting to give him a promotion. This came to a head as Elliot initiated the 5/9 Hack, rendering many of the world's top conglomerates nearly defunct. Tyrell was caught in the crossfire and was accused of being responsible. He was later reported missing... until he suddenly resurfaced towards Elliot again to show that he was in service with the Dark Army and had developed a God-Complex thinking he and Mr. Robot could work together. It turns out however that his allegiance with the Dark Army wasn't on his own accord as Tyrell was abducted on the day of the hack. He would later play a hand in the initiation of Stage 2, which resulted in the destruction of 71 buildings and the deaths of thousands. Unfortunately, Tyrell would run into really back luck; his wife Joanna was killed by a jilted lover and his son was taken away from him by child services. He would achieve his goal of CTO... only to be told by Price that the position is meaningless. His faith in the Dark Army crumbling, Tyrell enlists to join Elliot in taking on the Dark Army... only to be shot and bleeding out. Tyrell placed his faith into Elliot to take down the Dark Army before wandering off into a cold, snowy forest in Christmas. Before he expired, Tyrell found and collapsed besides what appeared to be a a bright blue glow....
  • Tyrell found himself groggy and dizzy as he woke up laid in ice. He stood up in the morning forest and twirled around, looking for directions. He took to crossing a road and followed signs to a nearby town. He discovered a convenience store and panicked upon encountering a passerby, who looked at him more out of confusion before walking away. From a distance, Tyrell saw a news broadcast about someone called Montgomery Burns and the efforts of environmental control by a Orc known as Rexxar. Bewildered, Tyrell entered the store the news was being broadcast in and asked a counter where was he. This gave him the confirmation that he was in the Pantheon, which made him further baffled and curious about what was going on.
  • One of the first things Tyrell did was drive to a nearby city to enlist himself on a high paying job. He did so by seducing a work employer he figured out was abusing his employees into sleeping with him, followed by exploiting his abuse of ethics, allowing him to get a good-paying job. In a short time, Tyrell was able to build up his financial status again and begin a new life in the Pantheon.
  • Since arriving in the Pantheon, one of Tyrell's primary objective is to see if Elliot was somewhere around. Initially, he was having trouble locating him... until he came back into contact with Phillip Price, who told him about what had transpired since his death. Upon hearing that Elliot defeated Whiterose and the Dark Army and dismantled the Deus Group, he sighed in relief and satisfaction. Eventually, Tyrell came into contact with Elliot again. Although their relationship is still in rocky terms, they've since began to slowly get better with working with one another.
  • Although his villainy has been toned down since, there is still some spark of Tyrell's unpredictable brutality and irrational nature surfacing every once in a while. Unfortunately for him, some heroic deities are actually aware of this and actually want him thrown into trial. Tyrell has since been trying to keep his composure and blend into the Pantheonic society since. Before anyone asks, it's actually a very daunting task.
  • Some residents tend to describe him as a tech-savvy Patrick Bateman. In actuality, Tyrell loathes any comparison with him. As psychotic and deranged as he may be, Tyrell at least loved his wife and son and admired Mr. Robot. Not only is Bateman far worse than Tyrell ever could be, but the guy is actively abrasive and dismissive against any sexual orientation besides heterosexuality. When the two met with one another near an office, Tyrell resorted to beating the ever-loving hell out of Bateman (though not without a fight). Once word broke out, literally everyone cheered for Tyrell for trying to beat up Bateman.
    • Of course Bateman hasn't forgot his beatdown. The next time, he's going to be making sure he gives Tyrell the most painful and gruesome death imaginable. For now, he's under retreat in a GUAE territory, but hey, at least he's given enough time to prepare.
  • Because of his connection with Price, Nagato met up with Tyrell, promising him protection and a chance to provide for something in the Pantheon. Tyrell agreed, mainly because if Elliot was going to do something, it he might as well give himself the adrenaline. Nagato offered Tyrell to be a part of his new organization's tech expert/hacker as he feels like the other organizations are hesitant to allow Tyrell into company. That said, Tyrell has made it clear that he would like to prioritize his personal life more.
  • To his surprise, he is odd friends with the Pantheon's representing Roidmudes, Heart, Brain and Medic. Although the three are wary of Tyrell's unpredictable nature, they sometimes give him company, mainly because Tyrell can come off as pitiable. That, and at least Tyrell tried to be a good father and treats the Roidmudes pretty affably, unlike their creator Tenjuro Banno.
  • Tyrell outright abhors Eliza and Neil Reagan. Not because they're just repulsive and aggressive even as children, but because their bratty and obnoxious personality irritates him so much Tyrell was nearly tempted to lash out against them. He also thinks Eliza and Neil are exactly the kind of people who would suck up to Whiterose unwillingly plus unlike the other upper-class denizens like Price, they have nothing interesting or redeeming to go along with. Eliza and Neil on the other hand are outright terrified of Tyrell upon learning of his temper and aggression. The two have since made a point to distance themselves as much as they could from him.
  • His working relations with other hackers is tenuous at best. While Tyrell is a skilled hacker and manipulator, his ego and temper have caused him to butt heads against Lisbeth Salander, the San Francisco DedSec and Aiden Pearce on a number of occasions. The three of them have admitted to calling Tyrell talented and reliable, but are also worried and cautious of his unpredictable anger and have asserted him not to get too ahead of himself.
    • Because of Elliot's concern about the Grand United Alliance of Machines, Tyrell has also worked with the GUAG White Hats, if only because he desires to work with Elliot and nothing else. The alliance is temporary, though Tyrell has managed to keep his word about keeping control of himself.
  • He has a peculiar way of greeting others, starting with "Bonsoir". Some residents have caught on with this tic and reply to Tyrell with his own gesture. He appreciates it.
    • During the time he was missing, some decried his absence and a few would even proclaim "Dicks out for Tyrell!". Tyrell actually feels rather embarrassed about this approach for notice.
  • He is rather sullen about the fact that his wife and son aren't in the Pantheon with him. Even if given another chance in life, Tyrell is unable to spend his life having a family of 3. The House of Family have since taken to pity him about it. Then again, Tyrell himself broods with Price on a similar subject matter as well, given the latter lost Angela the moment he told her about her paternal parentage.
Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank, but give a man a bank, and he can rob the world.

[down][down] I'll see to it. That said, I also need to see how his assassination plays a part in his personality in the Pantheon.

Also, I kinda realized for your earlier entry Frank Underwood. Did you actually take into account that he was assassinated before his final season? Anything on that you could add to his profile?

Now to round out the James Bond trifecta of allies:

  • Q, God of Inventions Disguised as Ordinary Objects
    • Reasoning: Q has mastered this trope. He personally invented, created or oversaw every single one of Bond's trademark gadgets, including the shoe phone, a couch that swallows up the man sitting on it and all of Bond's modified cars. Given this, he's so dangerous with this trope that anything in his hand could be considered a hidden weapon. Bond even mistook his lunch for one.

And another from Phineas and Ferb

  • Candace Gertrude Flynn, Goddess of (It Was Here, I Swear!)
    • Reasoning: She is the absolute Butt-Monkey and Cosmic Plaything of this trope. For some reason, the universe seems to be labouring to make sure that every attempt to convince her mom that her two brothers are making large and dangerous inventions in the backyard (i.e. busting them). Every time she drags her back to see, the inventions disappear due to radically bonkers circumstances like Doofenshmirtz.

@AUG: Princess Sapphire is unable to cry. In fact, the reason why she first noticed Almaz was that he was the only person to notice that she was mourning her mother's death when everyone saw her as a heartless monster. Though she comes to realize that she can cry, just not out of sadness.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
