Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I'm fine with changing Scarecrow's trope, although certain parts may need to be rewritten to accommodate the change.

EDIT: Actually, looking it over again, I suppose rewrites aren't necessary after all.

The Addams Family also fits Nightmare Fetishist since they are very well-known to like creepy stuff and it's one of their defining and unifying traits.

I know Gomez and Morticia Addams is in Couples Archetypes, but even Happily Married is also broad as it fits with a lot of happy fictional couples and maybe if we merge them with the rest of the family we can free it up. Just a suggestion.

[up]The actual Addams Family are in the pantheon. But you are right they might fit the trooe best on the overall scale.

It's Christmas 🌲 in my timezone! And I got some questions:

  1. After I was updated on Queen Chrysalis's true intentions and her mistreatment of her hive before being usurped, it reminds me for some reason of Ghetsis Harmonia's agenda. Why is that?
  2. Do you know anyone who's had... strained relationships with their children due to being buried in their work? This includes people who no longer have this apply to them, such as Ryotaro Dojima. It's for the AMS Agents profile, specifically Thomas Rogan.

And [tup] for the Addams Family rework.

[up][up] 1. You probably got that impression of "cold-hearted rulers who actually don't have what's best for their people in mind duped them with righteous missions" from those two.

2. There's Sonya Blade who strained her relationship with her daughter Cassie by devoting herself to her job as a Major General and treating Cassie as another soldier and rarely her own daughter. She is trying to move on from this since Johnny Cage became too concerned of this attitude.

3. I wasn't planning to rework the Addams Family immediately but thanks for the approval.

@Faso: They did have Nightmare Fetishist when I recovered them. And yeah, Creepy Family is also good for them.

Okay, catching up with the forum posts:

I can behind Namira getting Nightmare Fetishist if Scarecrow now gets Supernatural Fear Inducer. Both I feel are fitting tropes for them. And the Addams Family getting Creepy Family gets my support too.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

Anything else for Mumble?

Mumble, God of Possessing a Distinct Appearance (Happy Feet)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mumble.jpg
Mumble as a chick
  • Potential House: Physical Appearance
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: The shape of his feet.
  • Theme Song: I Wish and Boogie Wonderland
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Has fluffy down and blue eyes unlike the other penguins, Adorkable, Outcast for being unable to sing, In love with Gloria since childhood, Momma's Boy, Nice Guy, "Well Done, Dad!" Guy, Happily married to Gloria, Risks his life to protect his son
  • Domains: Dancing, Penguins, Feathers, Love, Happiness
  • Heralds: Gloria (His mate), Memphis and Norma Jean (His Parents), Erik (His son), Lovelace and the Adelie Amigos
  • Allies: The Madagascar Penguins, Hubie and Rocko, Sgt. Byrd, Penta Penguin, Chuu, Misato Katsuragi, The Nature Preservers, Steve Irwin, David Attenborough
  • Amazed by: Yuna, Azura
  • Enemies: Monstro, Captain Ahab, Napoleon, Koba, Bruce, Liopleurodon
  • Conflicting Opinion: Erik, Moby Dick, The Orca. Kyogre, Archie
  • Mumble is an emperor penguin note  who was ostracized by most of his peers due to his inability to sing, due in part to his father accidentally dropping him as an egg in the harsh Antarctic winter. But he more than made up for it, as Mumble became an exceptionally gifted dancer. This though was frowned upon by the other penguins, leading to the elders of his colony to banish him. Mumble then embarked on a quest to find out why the fish were disappearing and he ended up being discovered by humans and brought to a zoo before being returned to his home land. With the humans witnessing Mumble and his kin dancing and singing, leading to them banning fishing in the South Pole, he was accepted back into the colony and managed to settle down with the love of his life, Gloria.
  • His ascension happened after Mumble went to the ocean to go search for fish, washing up in a place similar to the time he was taken by the "aliens" (AKA the Humans). This time, he was in front of the Court of Gods who could understand his speech and also chose him because of his distinctive appearance from the other emperor penguins of his home, as he hasn't quite shed the fluffy down feathers around his head and upper body yet.
  • First thing Mumble did after ascending was try to meet other penguins that resided in the Pantheon but he wasn't prepared for the quirky folks he would meet on the way. He first came across Hubie and Rocko, confusing the latter for Lovelace given that both are rockhopper penguins but Rocko angrily corrected him while Hubie was glad to meet another penguin friend and was amused at Mumble's dancing skills. Rocko then showed him his ability to fly and Mumble was completely amazed by Rocko's flying skills, reminding him a little of the Puffin.
    • Then Hubie introduced him to the Madagascar Penguins, a group of penguins that often partake in dangerous missions and their leader, Skipper, was interested in drafting Mumble to their little circle. Sgt. Byrd on the other hand was another penguin who could inexplicably fly and commended Mumble for his dancing skills.
    • Far away from the other penguins there was another penguin. Penta Penguin just greeted Mumble and then chatted a little about the pantheon. Although Mumble found him a bit weird given his tendency to make evil smirks.
  • While human beings are a bit alien to Mumble and the rest of his colony, he is open to forming a bond with humans like he did back in his home universe and other human deities find him adorable, especially considering he hasn't shed his chick-feathers yet and is considered to be an overgrown chick. This has made him butt heads with other animal deities that despise humans, most notably Napoleon and Koba who think Mumble is too naive to think humans are worth anything.
  • Even if Mumble is in constant contact with other human beings, they can't actually understand his speech as they only hear him. Other animals can talk to him just fine but when it comes to humans, he has to rely on translator or people that Speaks Fluent Animal to get his message across.
  • When it comes to dancing, Mumble is amazed that there are people that can use that skill as a power. Most notably, one day when he was strolling around he witnessed Yuna and Azura use their powers and Mumble was left in awe at what he witnessed. The former two find him adorable, even if they can hardly understand what he is trying to say when he approaches them to talk.
  • Mumble's dancing quickly caught the attention of several humans who just so happen to adore penguins. In particular, the NERV Tactical Commander, Misato Katsuragi, and Chuu, member of the K-Pop girl group LOOΠΔ. At first, Mumble wasn't too sure what to interact with the pair, considering he can't understand human and they were almost overwhelming when they first met. Later on, he discovered the reasoning for their behaviour; for Chuu, the penguin is her token animal, while Misato has her own penguin named Pen-Pen. They cleared things up and Mumble sometimes stops by Misato's temple to hang out with Pen-Pen, sharing a few fish between them and enjoying each other's company. That said, he's been hesitant to try the beer Pen-Pen keeps drinking.
    • As for Chuu, she quickly took note of Mumble's happy feet and brought him to her temple to test his skills out, being a dancer herself. The other LOOΠΔ member were confused at first, but after a few practices, they all began to warm up to the flightless bird. He's now on their speed dial in case they need backup for their productions.
  • Life for a penguin can be difficult, what with all the predators lurking in the fathoms below. Leopard seals are a constant threat but in the Pantheon, the real danger comes from orca. Killer whales. Mumble had a close shave with orcas in the past but now he has to contend with two particular individuals. One, a rather large and aggressive bull, he generally keeps away from but on occasion they strike up short conversations. Turns out their opinions on humans do form an interesting contrast. The Orca hates them and wants nothing to do with them at best, while Mumble wants to peacefully communicate to them that they're harming the environment. The other orca, the Legendary Pokémon Kyogre, is one Mumble stays clear of at all costs, not because it eats penguins - it doesn't - it's more because of the power it can unleash upon the world should it enter its Primal form. As a result, Mumble isn't a big fan of Team Aqua's leader Archie, for awakening Kyogre in his attempts to protect the environment.
    • Other predators in the Pantheon Mumble avoids includes the giant shark Bruce, the marine reptile Liopleurodon, and the much larger sperm whales, Monstro and Moby-Dick. The last of these though Mumble is conflicted about, as Moby-Dick is only ever aggressive because of humans hunting his kind to near extinction. As such, he actually opposes Captain Ahab, and secretly hopes the whaler meets a fitting end in the white whale's jaws.
  • When Mumble first met with conservationist Steve Irwin, the penguin had a brief moment of deja-vu. Turns out while searching for the aliens, Mumble met an Albatross who shared the Crocodile Hunter's distinctive voice and warned him about going across the Antarctic Convergence in his quest. The pair are on good terms, and Irwin introduced the penguin to Sir David Attenborough, another vocal advocate for wildlife conservation and admirer of penguins.
  • Mumble was confused when he heard about a certain human named Erik who had a beautiful singing voice. He went to visit said human but was startled when he saw that he was quite the sinister individual and ran away in fear. Considering the fact that he shares the same name with his son and it made Mumble be concerned for his son if he ever went a similar path like this Erik.
  • There was actually a version of Mumble that eventually shed his fluffy feathers but that version never came to be and Mumble kept his appearance way into adulthood.

And considering his status as the leader of an organization and modified skills in military combat, along with the fact that his two deputies are higher up on the scale, should he be returned to Intermediate God status? Or is a rework necessary?

[up] That’s a case of I Am Not Shazam. G. I. Joe refers to the whole group, not just a single person. I think Duke, their leader, is in the Pantheon. Snake Eyes, another major member, is also in the Pantheon.

Kenji Oja, God of the Big First Choice (The Serpent's Son, Little Dragon, Lord Serpent or Lord Dragon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bf43ccc7a8ecc303f3d6e869ab5995ff_removebg.png
  • Lesser God, Dragon!Kenji might reach Intermediate levels
  • Symbol: The Serpent Orb
  • Theme Song: Serpent Attack as Serpent!Kenji, Dragon Warrior as Dragon!Kenji
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (if he takes the Serpent Path) or Neutral Good (if he takes the Dragon path)
  • Portfolio: Wutai Culture, Critical Hit, Campaign-Exclusive, Lightning Bruiser, Sword and Gun, Took a Level in Badass, Unexpected Successor, Training the Peaceful Villagers, Dragons Up the Yin Yang
  • Domain(s): Clans, Choices, Good or Evil
  • Heralds:
  • Followers: Agent Craig Willmore, Kazuki Takemura, Denam Pavel, Trestkon, Michael Tapp, Zheng, Jack Mower
  • Allies: The Commander (depending on their current allegiance)
  • Enemies: Each other and each other's allies, Heartless-summoners such as Master Xehanort
  • Sometimes, at some point in a game, you're required to make an important choice. This choice can affect a lot of things, from as little as available upgrades for the entire game, or even what storyline you'll take (requiring a replay to see it all). Kenji Oja, former exile from the Serpent Clan after being assumed to have killed his father, upon returning to the lands from where he was born, was faced with an important choice; in the midst of bandits raiding a village, who should he side with?
    • The Kenji who helps the bandits would rebuild the Serpent Clan under a tyrannical fist. The Kenji who helps the villagers would start anew as the benevolent Dragon Clan. Since both paths are irreconcilable with one another to ascend as a single person, two Kenjis were ascended as separate entities instead, and both immediately came to blows, disgusted at the other's choice (and disbelief from Serpent!Kenji after the revelation that the Serpent Orb's power and the Dragon are real after all). They were shortly separated by the Court, who had ascended them in the first place.
  • Applies to both Kenjis:
    • Their temples take the form of Serpentholm, remade in their respective images, and facing in opposite directions so as to minimize immediate clashes, mostly instigated by Serpent!Kenji.
    • And supporting the Kenjis as their Heralds are their Zen Masters, essentially hero units. While both Shinja and Otomo served both Kenjis, their ultimate allegiances brought the former to Serpent!Kenji and the latter to Dragon!Kenji. The latter Kenji was glad, given that Otomo dies in both paths, and now they're reunited.
    • Naturally, given their dispositions, Serpent!Kenji joined the GUAE while Dragon!Kenji joined the GUAG. Both Melkor and Cosmos were pleased with their latest additions to their ranks.
    • The Dragon Clan generally disdain firearms (though still use rockets) while the Serpent Clan appreciate and perfect their use. That said, even Dragon!Kenji is not above using them, and can learn to appreciate allies who use such weapons.
    • If there's one thing the two Kenjis have a common opinion on, it's despisal for creatures born from darkness thanks to their (separate) experiences with the Nightvol.
  • Exclusive to Serpent!Kenji:
    • Having a necromancer among his Zen Masters thanks to Shinja, he has no issues working with those who can raise the dead, such as Kel'Thuzad, to achieve his goals. Of course, that just means he won't oppose them on principle; their attitudes can still determine allegiances, such as him merely being on good terms with Arthas (if only because his Scourge are numerous enough to count as a threat).
    • When working alongside the Commander, even if it's proven really effective, he's annoyed whenever the Commander employs him as a damage sponge for the Ronin's Blood Bond (it transfers half the damage a Ronin takes to those they bond with) and keep Fan Geisha around to keep him healthy. It's a very effective strategy, sure, but that means sitting out of the fight. Now if it was some other Zen Master...
    • He's also come to like having Berkut and Charles zi Britannia on his side, even if only to help further his goals. This also goes for Kazuya Mishima and Bowser Jr., fellow evil sons to evil fathers, though he's bewildered by the... dynamic the latter's father has with the Mushroom Kingdom, given he hangs out with them half the time when he's not invading them.
  • Exclusive to Dragon!Kenji:
    • Corrin gets along with him, having had to make a similar big choice, except it was between families who both love them and are good people to certain degrees (even if one family was under an evil king who might've been all but a puppet by this point), and they also had the chance for a third option. Of course, Corrin also shows contempt for Serpent!Kenji due to his cruelty.
    • His potential after unlocking his Ki holds so much light that he poses a great threat to dark entities with weakness to light has marked him as a threat to such deities or those who employ such creatures like Xehanort and Mr. Scratch.
    • As someone who goes against the intentions of their evil father( figure)s (even if posthumously in Kenji's case, as he wasn't actually responsible for his father's death), in addition to Corrin, Dragon!Kenji has become allies with Rock Howard, Zuko, Jin Kazama, and Alucard.

I AM NOT PUTTING THIS UP FOR FEEDBACK. THIS IS FOR TROPERS WHO WISH TO CLAIM THIS PROFILE SINCE I'M NOT TRUSTED WITH THIS. I'M "SHOUTING" JUST IN CASE IT ISN'T CLEAR.

And for the record, besides a few additions, I have yet to change much of the profile, so don't accuse me of somehow making it worse. If anything, it was probably already somewhat bad.

And I still think changing his trope is a good idea. We can make way for his soon-to-be-former High Priest Apollo Justice to claim Names to Trust Immediately.

Shining Armor, God of 'Shine' Names Pertaining to Benevolence (Twilight's B.B.B.F.F. (Big Brother Best Friend Forever), Captain of the Royal Guard, Prince/Emperor Shining Armor)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shining_armor_vector_6724.png
  • Speaking of youth, it is said that the two meet and fell in love with each other during high-school (?). Since it was years ago and Canterlot was all 80's at the time, those who fell in love during those time who touched by them.
  • The dorkiness in him despite being a knight found him a companion in Spiderman who is also a hero that is a massive dork.
  • As a knight and the Captain of the Guard, he was practically the leader of what is considered the entire military force in Equestria, protecting his kingdom and family. Even after becoming regent ruler of the Crystal Empire, the only thing that changed was who he was training.
Joined alongside several good knights, he has considered joining the GUAG Sacred Knights to find good allies.
  • He would not stand evil brothers who act cruel toward their own siblings, especially those that would dare try to harm Twilight Sparkle.
    • Though Shining Armor sometimes make fun of Axel because of his Butt-Monkey status, he admits that he like his protective of children and his siblings and willing to protect them at all cost, like what he would do with his sister.
  • Has a terrible case of motion sickness, and constantly has to fight it when on an airborne vessel. Thankfully for him, there are ways to curb it in the Pantheon.
  • Apparently, his rock performance to woo Cadance was what got Vinyl Scratch her cutie mark when she was fascinated by the music.
  • The House of Sports joked about making "wife-tossing" an official sport when Shining Armor threw Cadance like a javelin in the Crystal Empire to swipe Spike and the Crystal Heart from King Sombra's reach. Jokingly, Bob Parr agrees with the assessment.
  • Domon is impressed in how he and Princess Cadance defeated Chrysalis and the that it resembled that Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken. Both he and Cadance actually tried to imitate this act once or twice.
  • There are rumors of Shining Armor having a child not through Cadance but through Queen Chrysalis, during his Mind Control. Not only were the rumors false and demonizing (especially since that would make him victim of rape by deceit), but also aggravates him whenever this is brought up. Even more frustrating since he and Cadance now have a foal by the name Flurry Heart.
  • Humorously, some suggest that Shining Armor was used for the voice tester for Megaman.EXE. The latter is confused of why the House of Technology wanted to use him as the basis of his voice.
    • On top of similar-voice related reasons, their shared tenures as Captain of the Guard before moving on to greater duties is what got him on amicable terms with Jaller. He sometimes even gets into joint missions with the rest of the Toa Mahri.
  • When asked where he was during the Storm King's attack on Canterlot, he doesn't have a ready reply save that he was handling duties in the Crystal Empire and caring for Flurry Heart. After he heard what happened, he berated himself for not being there (where he at least could've barred the Storm King's troops long enough for the guards to get in formation ("Why weren't they present at all during that?" he also asked) and for the populace to evacuate), and Cadance assured him that it's not his fault and that he probably wouldn't have made a difference given the Storm King's forces and Tempest Shadow's Obsidian Orbs. And given that the Storm King was after four alicorn princesses, it was a good thing Flurry Heart wasn't at Canterlot.

@ Faso: [tup] for Mumble

I couldn't quite add an interaction with A2, mainly because there is another strong potential interaction between a GF character and her that I could go towards... assuming I ever make the decision to suggest them one day.

In any case, Imoko's daughter again. Technically speaking, this is a Christmas profile because she has a costume for the holiday... Hmm, I wonder if I should bother to add all the costumes she has. Not counting her upgrade, she has a grand total of six skins, though such a number is an outlier all things considered. A character is lucky to even have one or two like with Contender and Thunder.

That aside, I believe she is ready for [tup]s.

G36, Goddess of Close Call Haircuts (Gr G36)

  • Allies: 2B, 9S, Maika Sakuranomiya, Sakuya Izayoi, Fiona Mayfield, Felicia and Jakob, Hayate Ayasaki, Alfred Pennyworth, The Master of Chaldea/Ritsuka Fujimaru
  • Enemies: The Vex, T-800, T-1000, SKYNET, The Rebel Army, The Enclave, The Black Ops, The Fabrication Machine, XANA
  • Opposes: Bender Rodriguez, Gudako
  • Additional Relationship: Copen
  • Herald: G36C, her little sister
  • In a world recovering from both global wide contamination of Collapse Radiation and the fallout of World War III, to put it bluntly manpower is scarce. To fill the many roles left open are the Autonomous Dolls and they come in all different appearances and personalities. Whether they are cool and collected or impish and immature their use as a labor force is valuable no matter if they're acting as simple bartenders or, as many Private Military Contractors and governments have found out themselves, soldiers on the frontline. Enter G36, one such Tactical Doll herself working under the PMC Griffon And Kryuger and assumes the role of a hardworking and diligent maid.
  • Arrived to the Pantheon after suddenly blacking out just as she walked out her dorm door and awoke in the presence to the Court of Gods. The reason for her ascension would relate to the time where she had one of her squadmates lives from returning fire due to choosing to stay behind a bit longer to pick off some more enemies. In doing so, G36 suffered a Close-Call Haircut and was badly damaged but both managed to retreat in time. The maid has since made a full recovery alongside a Digimind Upgrade and new look to boot and it was by her request that she kept the braided ponytail off as a mementos of said event, a significant point in which she has grown as a person.
    • After some slight urging by some members of said Court, alongside some knowledge of some other dolls' experience with these sorts of things, G36 came to accept their offer of "ascension" though she made it clear that before she was going to set things up she was going to at least complete whatever work she was going to do to which they allowed her to do. After easing the worries of her comrades regarding her brief disappearance (most of it being her easing G36C's worries) and finishing her day to day schedule G36 then properly came to the Pantheon with her little sister G36C in tow as a Herald.
  • The most notable trait about her would be her stern and angry gaze she seems to have at all times. Don't get the wrong idea though, this doll is a kind and caring soul. G36 is just unfortunate to have hyperopoia, also known as far-sightedness. Thus, the Death Glare is just her squinting very hard. Now, you may ask yourself what kind of maniac would willingly give a combat robot such a detrimental and quirky flaw in the first place, but just roll with the punches. If one were to ask that question every time it comes up when looking at many of the dolls it would be a very bad case of ad nauseum. Now, to make things clear this trait of hers doesn't seem to slow her down one bit as in each in every battle she keeps pace with the rest of her comrades.
  • While roaming the Pantheon she happened to cross paths with a blindfolded android named 2B. The two quickly hit it off through the shared experiences of being combat androids sent by mankind to do their work of mainly fighting Killer Robots in a post-apocalyptic world. There was one hiccup where in trying to offer her something to eat the moment G36 mentioned mackerel 2B gave an adverse reaction before properly declining and explaining that, while she is capable of eating, it is unnecessary and mackerel in particular is pretty much lethal to androids like herself. Other than that it was pretty smooth sailing.
    G36: I see.
    • This friendship would eventually extend to 9S one day whom G36 finds quite nice. When not busy with his own missions he sometimes tries to assist her with her problems however he can, either through logistics runs or actual combat. While appreciative, there are times when the T-Doll did have to make it clear to 2B that she wasn't interested in him, nor does she have any desire to get in between the two of them.
  • Considering she is a maid, G36 being a Chef of Iron perhaps should come as no surprise. She's courteous enough to send her friends their favorite foods, even during operations like night battles. Her illustrator notes that her specialty is geared moreso towards western cuisine than that of oriental cuisine. It was through this that she was able to become good friends with Maika Sakuranomiya due to her interests in cultures abroad. Despite getting on a wrong foot due to G36 apparently glaring at Maika, the issue was quickly rectified when it turns she shares the exact same problem. The fact that both of them are maids certainly helped smooth things over between the two for G36 even at takes time out of her day to help her out in the House of Food.
    • As far as other maids are concerned she has also bonded with the likes of Sakuya Izayoi, Fiona Mayfield, and Felicia. Butlers such as Jakob, Hayate Ayasaki, and Alfred Pennyworth are not left out, though, given that she has dressed up as one before during a trip to an opera. She pulls it off the look and presence of one just as well to the point where she can just as easily be mistaken as a guy.
  • For some reason on certain days, in particular on Children's Day and Christmas, she will assume the form of a little girl who is barely taller than the very gun she carries. Despite this, G36 is not fazed by it all and will continue to due her duties as if it were any other day. Notably, this is one of few times she is seen wearing glasses contributing to not-as-fierce gazes and conversely amplifies her cuteness. In this form the doll is commonly seen hanging around the House of Children.
  • Though her absolute determination to serve her allies is admirable it can and will prove to be a detriment should she push herself too hard. G36 isn't comfortable with people serving her and prefers to rely solely on herself. Some examples include when in a vacation to a beach in continuously serving her fellow dolls she ended up overheating her body and during a photoshoot she almost fell in trying to climb up a stage prop had she not been caught in the nick of time. Perhaps the biggest one out of them well would be the time during the recovery from the aforementioned incident with her saving her comrade as even a few days before then she was quite lost in thought when it came to her personal limits and desire to further help people. She has learned from said experiences, however, and this can be mainly attributed to the guiding words of her Commander.
  • Not a fan of Bender having been on the receiving ends of his advances of which is flatly declined. When she caught him trying to do the same to G36C, however, let's just say she wasn't happy and leave the picture of what happened next to your imagination.
  • As a Griffin Doll her main enemy back home are Sangvis Ferri, renegade T-Dolls who were apart of a PMC like her's before their AI took control of their units and killed their human masters prompting Griffin to step in and deal with them. It is because of this that G36 has come to blows with the likes of the original T-800 and the T-1000 and by extension SKYNET itself. Following the events of KCCO's betrayal with their arrest of Berezovich Kryuger, the co-founder of the G&K PMC and decision to directly enter the conflict between G&K and Sangvis Ferri, G36 does not hold the likes of the Rebel Army, the Enclave, or the Black Ops in high regard either.
    • As far as the Fabrication Machine is concerned, she exercises great amount of caution given and having been on the receiving end of its attacks done by its creations while wandering the House of Plants and admiring its views one time. G36 sees the Vex and XANA in a similar light given their capabilities though 2B and 9S along with their allies in Organizations have assured her that she won't be alone when forced to confront them.
  • Of the few times Copen has met her on his downtime he could not help but be reminded of Nori, a maid who worked closely with him as the Kamizono family's maid. The reminders are both full of nostalgia and downcast given the memories spent and the circumstances regarding him having to disown the name and take off on his own to continue his personal wars.
  • Being the deity of Mobile Phone Games as a whole it was perhaps only a matter of time until G36 got to meet the Master of Chaldea himself, Ritsuka Fujimaru. It was the latter who initiated conversation when he managed to meet the T-Doll in the House of Food when she was finished with work there. Though it was meant to be a friendly greeting it ultimately lead to her talking about her experiences in Griffin and the situation it was in by Singularity, of which Ritsuka expressed their sadness and condolences towards. The two eventually said their goodbyes as the former ran for her next task but not before expressing an interest in talking again. Sure enough, meetings over tea between the two are not uncommon.
    • During one talk over lunch they found out they were within earshot of the antics of a strange person who looked not unlike the Master of Chaldea's female form, if not a lot more crazed looking. When G36 bit the bullet and asked who that person was Ritsuka sighed and explained who Gudako was... and proceeded to express a desire to not talk about her any further.
  • In an Alternate Timeline where Griffon and Kryuger were contracted to act as Glitch City's private police force G36 came to the bar of Valhalla while accompanying a gorgeous woman by the name of Alma. Due to her... "debugging" G36's neural cloud was accidentally swapped out and two of her bodies ended up being inhabited by the minds of Alma's vacuum cleaner and toaster. After some drinking both of said appliances found out the truth the hard way. Then the two decided being maids was tiring and opted to become Dinergates instead and went shopping with the real G36 to find themselves new bodies. Yep.
  • "It is my duty to answer to my Master's needs."

Changed the picture. Not gonna do Baldr/Baldur. Are the Blades Ready?

The Blades Of Chaos

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0szrkoe.jpg
One of the Blades, fully upgraded.
  • Class 5
  • Description: A pair of chained short chopping swords
  • Alignment: Depends On Kratos' mood
  • Domains: Enchanted Weapons
  • Portfolio: Chained To Kratos' Arms To Be Used For Short And Long-Ranged Attacks, Became More Deadlier With Experience
  • Creator: Ares, the God of War
  • Notable User/Owner: Kratos
  • Alternatives Include: Athena's Blades , The Blades of Exile
  • Gaia: The Blades of Chaos, forged in the foulest depths of Hades. Once attached the blades remained so, chained and seared to the flesh, a part of the bearer's body.
  • In Ares' scheme to overthrow Olympus, he gifted the Spartan demigod Kratos with the Blades of Chaos, a pair of chained blades crafted by the God of War himself, imbued with the power of fire. Had Ares lived, he would've been pleased to know that Kratos had succeeded.
  • Thought to have disappeared following Kratos' war against Ares, it was later revealed that Kratos took the Blades of Chaos with him following his decimation of both the Olympians and Titans and relocated to Midgard. Only when the life of his son, Atreus, was in danger and one of the key ingredients was located in Helheim, a place where the Leviathan Axe would be ineffective, Kratos retrieved the Blades of Chaos, and in effect, the Ghost of Sparta was reborn.
    • For those who have been following the Ghost of Sparta from his days as the servant of Ares to bringing about the destruction of Olympus, the irony is not lost on them. Kratos butchered his family by means of the Blades, now he brings them back in order to save his son.
  • In one strange scenario, Spider-Man would come across the Blades. Cornered by Iron Man and his team of Avengers, Spidey armed himself with the Blades and proceeded to amputate both of Stark's arms. Then, he attacked the rest of Stark's Avengers, Ares included, leaving them with numerous injuries.
Doctor Strange: I know those weapons Peter has...and I'm surprised.
    Luke Cage: Surprised he's winning?
Doctor Strange: Surprised everyone's still alive.
  • The Blades are effective against anyone who is undead. Even more so if they use the cold as a weapon. So much so that they avoid pissing Kratos off (and by that extension, Atreus) even more, lest they find out the hard way. Both Bi-Han and Kuai Liang can attest that those Blades hurt like crap.
  • The more experience Kratos gets, the stronger the Blades become. There is an ongoing debate that it is strong enough to withstand an onslaught from Dragonslayer. And both Soul Edge and Soul Calibur gets a tad bit antsy when the Blades are in the area...
Athena: But there is one unavoidable truth you will never escape: You cannot change. You will always be... a monster.
Kratos: I know... but I am your monster no longer.

I have a suggestion, this is for people to adopt.

The New Founding Fathers of America, Divine Party of Slaughtering The Poor

  • Reasoning: While their institution of the Purge, a night each year where any and all crime, including murder, is legal to reduce crime rates, this is terribly false. This is actually an excuse to eliminate poverty, reduce wealth inequality and overpopulation in America by allowing legalized murder. When the poor don't die as fast as expected, they send in death squads. The poor would suffer by virtue of being unable to afford security systems or defend themselves. The Party, for their part, treats it as a game for them to also enforce their rule and continue the Purge For the Evulz, as evidenced by how religious Christian rites are incorporated into their killings, and attempting to assassinate an anti-Purge presidential candidate on Purge night.

  • Takumi Aldini is a Hot-Blooded Japanese-Italian chef who has managed to master both Italian cuisine and its fusion with Japanese cooking techniques by the age of 15. Takumi, along with his twin brother Isami, was raised in Florence, Italy and worked at his uncle's restaurant, Trattoria Aldini. When Takumi and his brother reached middle school level, their uncle recommended that the twins attend Totsuki Culinary Academy, a famous cooking school in Japan that trains its students to become high quality chefs. Eager for the challenge, Takumi and Isami departed for Totsuki to become the academy's top students. Having enrolled as a part of the 92nd generation of Totsuki students, Takumi was seemingly ready for whatever the academy threw his way... only for a certain student known as Soma Yukihira to not only declare to the rest of the students that he would stand at the top of Totsuki Academy, but also taunt the students for not having any kitchen experience. Gravely insulted by Soma's speech, Takumi developed a fiery rivalry with Soma that burns to this very day... not that Soma knows that there's even a rivalry between the two.
  • Under the mistaken belief that he was the first character from his universe to ascend to the pantheon, Takumi was elated that he had seemingly became a god before Soma ever did. Hoping to take advantage of this supposed opportunity, Takumi immediately began to create a feast that exemplified his mastery of Cuisine Fusion for the denizens of the pantheon. Right when he was about to showcase his food for the pantheon, Takumi discovered that Soma Yukihira had not only beaten him to the pantheon, but that he too created a feast for pantheon's inhabitants to enjoy. Takumi's screams of anguish echoed throughout the pantheon on that day.
  • In spite of his rivalry with Soma, Takumi has been able to maintain a cordial relationship with Soma's friend, Megumi Tadakoro, due to how she shared Takumi's desire to defeat the student organization of Central at the Regiment de Cuisine. Takumi and Megumi have even collaborated on a few occasions to serve whatever deities that wander into the House of Food, often creating either the Hachis Parmentier that the duo made during the Regiment de Cuisine or the Special Gousetsu Udon that the two along with Soma made for the Promotion Exams.
    • His relationship with Erina Nakiri is much more colder. Beforehand, the two chefs were able to get along nicely before and during the Regiment de Cuisine, to the point that Erina trained him, Soma, and Megumi for the Promotion Exams. However, after their match-up against each other in a culinary tournament known only as BLUE, where Erina called Takumi's cooking "garbage" and promptly threw it in the trash after she defeated him, relations between the two have notably soured. Resultantly, most if not all of the interactions between Takumi and Erina nowadays have devolved into incessant bickering.
  • Has caught the eye of Giorno Giovanna, a gangster who also happens to be an Italian man of Japanese descent. Giorno's curiosity has only piqued when he learned about how Takumi could cook Italian cuisine with Japanese cooking techniques. In order to demonstrate his skill to the gangster, Takumi decided to make Giorno and his allies Bruno Bucciarati and Pannacotta Fugo a couple plates of Naporitan Curry Fettuccine, a Naporitan dish that uses curry sauce instead of the traditional pasta sauce. Impressed with the young chef's abilties in more ways than one, Giorno, Bruno, and Pannacotta ended up becoming regular customers of Takumi's restaurant at his temple.
    • Another regular customer of his is Okuyasu Nijimura, who also happpened to frequent an Italian chef back in Morioh known as Antonio Trussardi. While Takumi was disheartened when Okuyasu told him that he didn't consider Takumi's foods to be as delicious as Antonio's, Takumi immediately got over it when he learned the effects of Trussardi's cooking, such as causing Okuyasu's eyes to water to the point that they deflated or making a dog puke up its intestines.
    • Unfortunately for Takumi, Team Bucciarati's interest in him has only made him a target for the ascended members of Passione, such as Diavolo and Cioccolata. While being targeted by Diavolo and Cioccolata is troublesome enough, Takumi himself is more afraid of Polpo, a particularly obese capo who, after learning about his cooking skills, once had Takumi kidnapped in order to make him into Polpo's personal chef. Luckily, Giorno managed to catch wind of Takumi's kidnapping and rescued him by once again transforming one of Polpo's guns into a banana, which the capo cluelessly ate.
  • Ever since his arrival within the pantheon, Takumi has regularly contested Vito and Michael Corleone's positions as the only people in the pantheon willing to provide authentic Italian cuisine, often citing his own skills as a chef and his experience from working in Trattoria Aldini for why he is more worthy of the position than the two mafiosi. Michael himself is annoyed with Takumi, and has more than once considered sending the young chef on a boat trip in order to get Takumi out of his hair. Vito, on the other hand, is more amused than annoyed with Takumi, and would have eagerly offered his protection to the chef and Trattoria Aldini were it not for Takumi's constant attempts to take Corleones' position.
  • Takumi had once encountered Papyrus while the skeleton was wandering around in the House of Food trying to get people to taste-test a plate of his spaghetti. Realizing that Takumi actually specialized in creating meals such as spaghetti, Papyrus asked the chef to try some of Papyrus' food. After trying only one bite of the spaghetti, Takumi almost instantly spat out the pasta and declared that Papyrus' meal was completely inedible, much to Papyrus' dismay. Having taken note of Papyrus' passion for cooking while simultaneously not wanting to upset the skeleton, Takumi offered to teach Papyrus how to cook properly, which Papyrus gladly accepted. Sans was actually pleased to hear that his brother taking up cooking lessons with Takumi, whose relationship with his twin brother Isami has reminded Sans of his relationship with Papyrus.
  • Has inadvertently reminded both Maika Sakuranomiya and Hideri Kanzaki of their boss Dino, another blonde, rambunctious Italian man. Takumi was pleased that he there was someone like him in Maika and Hideri's universe, causing him to befriend both Maika and Hideri. He was less than pleased when he heard about Dino's tendency of getting arrested on a daily basis, which he had discovered the hard way when the House of Justice, under the false assumption that Takumi was actually Dino, arrested Takumi one time when he was departing from Maika's temple.
  • Constantly incurs the wrath of Poland due to how one of Poland's countryball heralds, Italy, often pulls an Italy and decides to become Takumi's high priest. There has yet to be a confrontation between Takumi and Poland, however, since whenever Poland shows up to Takumi's temple, he ends up eating some of Takumi's food, causing Poland to immediately forget that he was miffed at Takumi for unknowingly stealing one of his countryball heralds. It helps that Italy usually switches back to being Poland's herald literally the very next day.
