Cacofonix uploaded on the 6th of April 2023.

    Cacofonix
Cacofonix, God of Dreadful Musicians (Assurancetourix, Malacoustix, Stopthemusix)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cacofonixprofile300px.png
  • Rank: Demigod (Quasideity most of the time, Lesser God after taking the Magic Potion, but also has the ability to generate rain when he sings).
  • Symbol: His Lyre.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good.
  • Portfolio: The Bard, Brown Note, Dreadful Musician, Rain Dance, Schoolmarm, Nice Guy, Butt-Monkey
  • Domains: Musicality, Weather, Teachers, Fantastical Jobs
  • Heralds: Justforkix
  • Allies: Asterix, Obelix, Chief Vitalstatistix (his village's Chief), Leliana, Edward Chris von Muir, Elan, The Smurfs (as long as he doesn't sing), Most good-aligned teachers.
  • Enemies: Julius Caesar, Emperor Nero, Red Saber, Vulcan, Roman Gods, Zinyak, Prime Minister Honest, Jafar, Ember McLain, Music Meister.
  • Good Terms With: Elvis Presley, Any good or neutral-aligned rock musicians.
  • Opposes: All deities that hate music, Any deity that uses music for evil, All evil teachers, All deities that think his music is dreadful such as Tintin and Captain Haddock.
  • Banned from: Hall of Fire and Heat.

  • Cacofonix is a local bard from Asterix's village, a schoolteacher and a member of the Village's Council along with Getafix and Chief Vitalstatistix. He likes to sing, thinks he's a genius singer, and tries to sing a song of courage to inspire his fellow villagers. However, the other villagers know he doesn't sing very well and only like him when he doesn't try to sing. When he sings, he drives away all the local animals and any patrolling Romans. His singing can also cause storms and thunderbolts to randomly appear. The villagers sometimes shut him up with a hammer or a "fresh" fish; he only complains if they did it when he didn't intend to sing.
  • One day, after a meeting of the Village Council in Vitalstatistax's temple, Cacofonix came across a tree with a temple at the top. It reminded him of his own house on top of a tree, and he decided to take a look and move in. Afterward, he got an invite to perform in front of the musicians of the Pantheon. Cacofonix was told that it was for the position of the God of Bards; however, the truth was that it was to see if Cacofonix's singing was bad enough to qualify for the position of Dreadful Musician. Cacofonix started to sing a song, and by the time he had finished singing, there was a thunderstorm inside the House of Musicality, causing everyone had ran away from the house (except for the rock musicians, who seemed to like it). All the musician gods agreed to make him the God of Dreadful Musicians and soundproof his temple.
  • Upon learning that their old friend had ascended, Asterix and Obelix went to congratulate him on joining the Pantheon. However, Obelix accidentally pushed down his tree, destroying his temple. Cacofonix was angry because he wasn't even singing this time. While his temple was being replaced, he went out to the Hall of Trees and Flowers for some inspiration for his next song.
  • While Cacofonix is peeved he didn't get the title of the God of Bards, he admits its current holder Leliana is a worthy candidate. His meeting with Leliane led him to meet fellow bards like Elan and Edward. Elan and Cacofonix can relate to each other for being understated bards with hidden depths. While Cacofonix is initially surprised to learn Edward is a crown prince who disguised himself as a bard, much like Elan, he too has come to be impressed by Edward's accomplishments. The bards view each other respectfully; their enemies would fear the day all four of them would team up to fight a common enemy.
  • As he's a respected schoolteacher, he's also been seen in the House of School teaching lessons — except for music, for obvious reasons. After Cacofonix made several requests to hold music lessons for eager students, the House of School decided to let him teach music classes in his temple. The students are made up of other dreadful singers and musicians like him. This arrangement allows them to play their dreadful music without disturbing the other deities in the Pantheon due to the previously mentioned soundproofing around Cacofonix's temple.
    • Whenever a music teacher cannot save a deified student's awful singing, deities who want to take music lessons are referred to Cacofonix's class. His students don't mind his singing (except for Conan, who has perfect pitch despite his lack of singing ability). Despite being from different backgrounds, they like being in his class because he and their classmates don't judge their singing ability like their respective friends do. They also feel sorry for Cacofonix sometimes when he gets beaten or tied up for his singing.
    • Even the bard was surprised by some of his music students' lack of musical ability. Ed's attempt at playing the violin caused the paint to peel off the temple and destroy Ed's bike. Cacofonix suggested to the tall Ed that he stick with the flute. He pities Squidward for the trouble he had trying to teach the residents of Bikini Bottom with the squid's clarinet playing. On the other end of the spectrum, Coop, Tucker and Team Chaotix were among his star students, as they all used their terrible singing to defeat their foes. They, along with Cacofonix, give speeches to the other students on how not to be discouraged if someone doesn't like their singing and how to use their "gift" to their advantage.
  • Since awful singing can break her musical mind control, Ember McLain doesn't like the Bard all too well. She hopes her enemy Danny Phantom doesn't team up with him whenever his perky friend is unavailable to foil her schemes. The Music Meister, another evil musician who uses his singing to control people, is also wary around the bard. Since loud sonic noises can cancel his mind control, the bard's awful singing can theoretically might do the same effects to his controls. While there is no evidence yet if Cacofonix can break any mind control with his singing, his general resistance to being mind controlled (especially when he drinks a potion) makes him an ideal candidate for entering the Hall of Mind Control.
  • Barring his musical abilities, Cacofonix is generally viewed as a nice guy. With that said, he hates Roman tyrants for trying to conquer his village and other villages. Despite this, he has a bit of respect with Julius Caesar as a worthy opponent, just like the rest of his village. He also hates tyrants like Emperor Nero and Red Saber for attacking their own people, causing fires in their ruling city and worse of all, playing music badly. He dislikes the Roman Gods because they are the gods of his enemies: the Romans.
    • Cacofonix also hates evil chancellors like Prime Minister Honest and Jafar because of the time he was called to save a princess by ending a drought, or she would have been sacrificed to her gods. This was planned by her Kingdom's Vizer to make him the ruler of India. Thankfully, neither Honest nor Jafar have plans for Cacofonix. They both think he's too much of a nuisance to get any use out of him.
  • Cacofonix's ability to create rain when he sings has caused him to be banned from the Hall of Fire and Heat to prevent any fire gods from being extinguished. Occasionally, he has been called to sing to put out wildfires or cure droughts in temples. These incidents had led to a friendship with other good-allied weather deities — as long as he didn't sing. This also causes the X-Men deities to think that their friend Storm, who is a mutant that controls the weather, has finally ascended.
  • He has been mistaken for Elvis, and Elvis has been mistaken for him. It's likely because Cacofonix's red cape and hairstyle bares similarities to the King of Rock and Roll. This mixup led him to sing at one of Elvis' concerts, which caused some concerts to get washed out. Eventually, Cacofonix and Elvis met and sorted out the mistake. Cacofonix then said this will be the last time people would be mistaken for other people, only for Cacofonix to mistake Sean Connery and James Bond for a Roman spy from his world, the Druid Dubbelosix.
  • Cacofonix has been seen making friends with the Smurfs. He has discussed teaching methods with Papa Smurf. He is trying to teach Brainy about some subjects like history and maths, but it always ends with Brainy being thrown out of the temple for being rude and annoying. He likes the rest of Smurfs, and they like having Cacofonix around as long as he doesn't sing. The storms he creates are a threat to the Smurfs due to their small size; that and his singing is just as bad as Harmony Smurf's singing.

  • Unsatisfied Fish shop Customers: Beerus, Fat Buu, Waylon Jones,
  • Good Terms With: Any good-aligned or neutral-aligned deities that like his fish.
  • Opposes: All deities that say his fish isn't fresh.
  • Banned from: Hall of Aquatic Life.
  • Pities: The Cabbage Merchant

  • Unhygienix is the fishmonger of Asterix's village, he sells fish from the town of Lutetia (now call the City of Paris) that have taken up to a week to arrive at best rather than get fresh fish from the sea. The length of the time it takes for the fish arrive means that they have often gone stale which leads to his fish having a habit of giving people food poisoning. When people say that the fish he is selling isn't fresh Unhygienix throws a fish at them, the person who got a fish thrown at them either throws the fish back at Unhygienix or uses the fish to hit Unhygienix. Afterwards a fight breaks out in Unhygienix's over if the fish are fresh. Regardless of arguments about "fresh" fish the Gauls remain friends.
  • Unhygienix was getting sick of his fish shop in the village getting destroyed in some the fish fights. Unhygienix learned about the Pantheon after Impedimenta mentioned about it to her friend and Unhygienix's wife Bacteria, Unhygienix decided to open a shop in the Pantheon to provide everyone with fresh fish from Lutetia/Paris. Some of the deities that don't have much knowledge about fish as well as the deities that are Extreme Omnivores were convinced to buy his fish despite the fish looking and smelling rotten. A few deities were driven away from going to Unhygienix's shop by Cacofonix's horrible singing as Cacofonix was trying to prevent them getting food poisoning. Unfortunately many of the deities that had brought fish from Unhygienix's shop were found to have been poisoned after eating the fish. There was a large panic about the source of the many increasments in Food Poisoning cases while the doctors from the House of Health and Diseases helped to heal the patients, the Hall of Detectives traced the source of the Food Poisoning back to Unhygienix's fish shop. The members of the Hall of Chefs and Establishments wanted him to be thrown out but when they tried to throw Unhygienix, Unhygienix responded by throwing his stock of fish at them and they threw the fish straight back at him. The fight got worse when Obelix decided to join in the fight because it seemed fun, Obelix defeated Unhygienix, some of the Chefs deities, some of the Establishments deities and destroyed a nearby Cabbage stall, until Mr. Champloo used his martial arts skills to send Obelix into Unhygienix's stall destroying it. The chefs asked the Court of Gods to make him the god of The Food Poisoning Incident, to prevent any more cases of food poisoning. This way deities will know that most of Unhygienix's fish are either stale or rotten. Unhygienix yelled at the court that his fish are fresh fish from Lutetia/Paris not stale or rotten fish.
  • Unhygienix's temple looks triangular wooden house with his stall out front. There is a road that has a portal at the end that let's the Ox Carts from Lutetia/Paris deliver his fish stocks after a two week journey by road. There is a nearby sea with lots of fish in, Unhygienix has his fishing boat moored to a dock nearby his temple. However Unhygienix usually only fishes in the sea for fun, he only really sells fish from the sea if he is completely out of stock of fish from Lutetia/Paris.
  • Asterix, Obelix, Cacofonix and Vitalstatistix all recognized that Unhygienix was in the Pantheon after they could smell a rotten fish smell. They were happy to see Unhygienix in the pantheon but they could all see a fight coming after Unhygienix had told them that he was selling his fresh fish. Cacofonix decided to use his bad singing to stop some deities from buying Unhygienix's stale fish. Asterix went to the House of Health and Diseases to let them know about Unhygienix's fish and Vitalstatistix tried to stop Unhygienix from poisoning deities by giving him a tour of the Pantheon. Obelix didn't care about Unhygienix selling his fish until the fight broke out then Obelix joined in the fight for fun.
  • Unhygienix hates Brutus for ordering the burning down of Unhygienix's village which threatened the lives of his family, friends and his livelihood. Caesar as thanks for Asterix and Obelix protecting his son had Unhygienix's village rebuild by his troops. Unhygienix respects Caesar as a worthy opponent like the rest of his village but dislikes him for saying that Unhygienix's fish aren't fresh. However Caesar did order a rotten fish from Unhygenix to punish Brutus by making him eat the fish as part of a meal.
  • Unhygienix dislikes the suggestions of some of the members of the House of Travel, since they have suggested that he has his fish transported to his temple by cars, planes, boats, trains or magic because he doesn't trusts any method other than Ox carts or his own boat to transport his fish. He is sometimes seen in the House of Travel discussing ways to improve the quality of his boat, the Cids suggested turning Unhygienix's boat into an airship. Unhygienix and Moana have been seen discussing ways of looking after their wooden boats and sailing techniques.
  • Unhygienix favourite clients are the house of Weapons who buy his fishes by the crate. He was somewhat shocked to see that rather than eating his fish they were using the fish as weapons. Unhygienix decided that if deities in the house wanted to use his fish as a weapon then he could just hire out his fish to them for a time, then have them return it when they had finished using it as a weapon. Unhygenix then washed the returned fish and put them back out on his stall to sell again, saying that they were fresh.
  • Beerus was one of the first deities to hear about the new fish shop in the Pantheon he decided to eat a fish that looked healthy but the fish Beerus ate gave him indigestion, furious at Unhygienix Beerus destroyed Unhygienix's stall, he was even more furious after Unhygienix threw a fish in Beerus'face in response, luckily for Unhygienix Beerus decided to leave to deal with his indigestion. After Unhygienix had rebuild his stall Fat Buu had heard from Beerus that a fishmongers had opened, so Fat Buu went to check it out when Fat Buu arrived Unhygienix offered Fat Buu a free sample of fish but because of the quality of the fish he tasted was so disgusting, Fat Buu opened his eyes and destroyed Unhygienix's stall so no one would have to taste Unhygienix's horrible tasting fish again. Unhygienix thinks that Beerus told Fat Buu about his fish shop because Beerus knew Buu would destroy it too. King Cold and Frieza were surprised that a mere fishmonger had made enemies with two of the people they knew never to challenge from there universe, King Cold decided to try and recruit Unhygienix, when he arrived at Unhygienix's he understood how Unhygienix had made enemies of Beerus and Buu and decided that it wasn't worthwhile recruiting Unhygienix the fish he sells would make King Cold's army sick.
  • Big Boss is one of the few deities who could eat his stale fish because he had an antidote ready just incase. Afterwards Big Boss asked if Unhygienix's fish could be used against enemies, Unhygienix explained that he has used fish to hit people with. Big Boss decided to test that and equipped some fish he bought from Unhygienix on a mission, he found it a double-edged sword the smell drove his enemies and allies away, any guards that could stand the smell knew that all they needed to do was shoot where the smell was coming from. Big Boss after that failure decided to see if Unhygienix's fish could be used to hide items in and if the research and development section could turn the fish into stink bombs.
  • Unhygienix runs a side business of hiring out his fishing rods and hiring out his fishing boat to any deities that would like to fish in the sea. One of his most recurring customers is Big the Cat who is trying to either find big fish or his friend Froggy. Other customers have included the Mario series deities that rent out his fishing rods to play mini-games that cause them to fish up red fish that Unhygienix has never seen before, Unhygienix has had a similar experience with Pokemon trainers deities fishing up unusual fish. Link asked Unhygienix if it was alright to use fire arrows to light up the sea when it gets dark, Unhygienix reply was to hit Link with a fish for suggesting it and Unhygienix saying "I have already had arrows on fire that destroyed my village! If you think that I am going to let anyone on boat with them you have another thing coming!", a week later Link and Unhygienix came to any agreement, as long as Link left his fire arrows at his temple he could hire Unhygienix's fishing boat.
  • Gordon Ramsey got a lot of letters from deities asking Gordon to improve Unhygienix's fish shop. Gordon realised how bad Unhygienix's fish were when he got a letter from Waylon Jones/Killer Croc calling Unhygienix's disgusting. Gordon visited Unhygienix's shop to try to teach Unhygienix the right way to store fish so it wouldn't go bad as quickly such as using a fridge and freezer. However Unhygienix was unwilling to use technology like a fridge as freezer, saying that he hasn't needed these magicial cupboards before and he won't start now. By the end of Gordon's visit, he was seen leaving saying that it is impossible to get Unhygienix to change the way he sells fish.
  • "Fresh fish, it is lovely."

  • Deep in the hills to the east of Sodor lies the narrow-gauge Skarloey Railway. Originally built in the 19th century to mine slate, it's since expanded and is now a popular tourist destination. Though its engines may be small — they're barely taller than their drivers — they have big histories.
    • Built in 1864, Skarloey (named after the railway, which is named after a lake) has been on Sodor longer than any other engine. In his first few years of life, Skarloey acted like a moody teenager, demanding respect from his superiors and refusing to do what he was told. Over many decades, he matured into a much more sensible engine... and became worn out, so he was retired to an open shed while Rheneas ran the railway. Eventually, he was let out when there were no other engines available to pull a passenger train; he broke a spring in the process, and was sent away to be repaired. Since then, he's been back in service. He still has a bit of a temper, as demonstrated when he snapped at Thomas for seemingly putting their friend in danger.
    • Rheneas (named after a waterfall) is a few months younger than Skarloey. He's always been the more level-headed of the two, but when they were young, they hated each other so much that they had to be parked facing away from each other in the shed so they wouldn't argue. After Skarloey wore out, Rheneas was the only engine in service on the railway. One stormy night, when it was facing closure, he successfully brought a crowed passenger train home with a jammed valve gear.
    • When Rheneas was sent away for a years-long overhaul, the Skarloey Railway purchased two engines from an aluminium works, who originally came from the closed-down Mid-Sodor Railway. The first was Sir Handel (named after the Skarloey Railway's original owner; originally named Falcon), who complained about the shed and insulted Skarloey as soon as he arrived. He's derailed himself and pretended to be ill to avoid pulling trucks. Because he kept slipping between the tracks, he was fitted with an extra pair of wheels called "broad tyres", and bragged about them for a while. After disappearing from the show for years, he returned as a more mature engine. (Nobody knows where he was during that time; he's kept silent on the rumour that he was banished to the Shadow Realm.)
    • The second was Peter Sam (formerly known as Stuart). While Sir Handel was rude and stuck-up, Peter Sam has always been cheerful and hard-working. However, he's also impatient, as seen when he left a passenger behind because he was in a hurry. When Sir Handel pretended to be ill, Peter Sam didn't mind doing his work at the slate quarry. Unfortunately, the troublesome trucks played a trick and crashed into him, damaging his funnel. Later, it was completely knocked off by an icicle, so it was replaced with a strange-looking flat one known as a Giesel Ejector. Peter Sam got the last laugh: it made him perform better than the other engines.
    • While Skarloey was away being repaired, Rusty was brought in to maintain the tracks. Unlike most of the early diesels on the Island of Sodor, he's kind, sensible, and has no interest in overthrowing the steam engines. In fact, in one timeline, he went all the way to the mainland (somehow) to rescue Stepney from scrap. However, he's not above pettiness; he once refused to rescue Duncan, who had insulted him, until Skarloey told him to think of the passengers. While he was always male in the books, Rusty had an Ambiguous Gender in his first few seasons of Thomas & Friends, allegedly as Britt Allcroft's way of addressing the criticism that the show had too many male characters.
    • Duncan is a Scottish steam engine who originally worked in a factory. His favourite thing to do is complain, whether it's about diesels, not being polished, or a passenger who's just as grumpy as he is. He used to "rock and roll" on the tracks, causing him to get stuck in tunnels. He's not without a softer side, though: he warms up to Rusty after being rescued.
    • They all have twins on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales, though this is only addressed in The Railway Series. By sheer cosmic coincidence, a lot of things that happened to these engines also happened to their twins — Skarloey and Talyllyn were both retired to open sheds while Rheneas and Dolgoch ran their lines alone, Edward Thomas and Peter Sam both had Giesel Ejector funnels at some point, et cetera. (Of course, the real reason is that the Reverend Wilbert Awdry was so impressed by the world's first heritage railway that he made an expy of it in his series of books about talking trains.)
  • In the books, the steam engines were all red with blue stripes, while Rusty was black. When it came time to finally adapt the Skarloey Railway books in season 4 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, the creators decided to make them different colours to make them easier to tell apart. Skarloey's stripes became white; Rheneas and Rusty became different shades of orange; Sir Handel and Peter Sam kept their blue and green liveries, respectively, from their Mid-Sodor days; and Duncan became yellow. More engines have arrived on their railway since then, but none of them had Adaptation Dye Jobs, so the gods of the Pantheon only chose the original six to represent this trope. They are known to change their colour schemes from their colour schemes in the books to their colour schemes from the cartoon and back again.

  • When the Skarloey Railway Engines joined the Pantheon they were happy to see seven trains welcoming them to Pantheon. The Steam Team welcomed them by blowing their whistles loudly which led the Skarloey Railway Engines to respond with their own loud whistles, which ended up deafening everyone nearby. While they'd never heard of P.T. Boomer, he did try to destroy the entire Island of Sodor. They told the Steam Team that if he ever comes back the Skarloey Railway Engines will try to stop him.
  • The Pteranodon family were happy to hear that another Railway had open. When they arrived at the station Tiny asked the engines if they could travel through time like the dinosaur train. The Skarloey Railway Engines though that she was a joking about a train travelling through time. The engines had thought that the Pteranodon family were people dressed up as Dinosaurs for fun, but the Pteranodon family explained that they really were Dinosaurs despite this being a shock at first, the Skarloey Railway Engines and the Pteranodon family soon became fast friends.
  • Engines can live for as long as they're taken care of, and while they can mature mentally, they're essentially Born as an Adult and don't age. As Skarloey is one of the oldest engines in his world, he's of interest to those interested in immortality. One of them is Ling Yao, who once imagined binding his soul to a train that looks suspiciously similar to Gordon the Big Engine in a yonkoma. Skarloey had Duke one of the Skarloey Railway Engines heralds tell Ling Yao the story of the train called Stanley/Smudger who was turned into a stationery boiler unable to ever move again, after the story was finished they asked Ling Yao did he want that sort of immortality?
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines mostly love listening to Wishbone's stories and imaging themselves as characters in the story except for the really scary ones. Walt Disney being a Rail Enthusiast enjoy going on rides on the trains. They offered to take teacher Adrian Seidelman's class on a train ride or take Adrian and his friend Cybersix on a train ride. They hate Grimm Von Krauk for ruining stories and fear what would happen if ever got a hold of The Railway Series books that they are from.
  • Among the things they hate the most is putting passengers, the railway staff or people near the track in danger. This has led to them hating any deity that willing puts other people in danger such Snidely Whiplash and Kuvira who have left people tied to a track for a train to run the people over. Kuvira is especially feared by the Skarloey Railway Engines because of her powers to control metal which she could use on the engines, the railway coaches or the rails. The Cooper gang has earned the Railway Engines dislike for committed heists on trains that included them damaging trains to get the loot that they intend to steal, one of which involved fighting Neyla over a train that she attacked while trying to get Sly Cooper.
  • When they heard about Dr. Doofenshmirtz being a Rail Enthusiast they were angry with him for giving Rail Enthusiasts a bad name. It has since been explained to them that Doofenshmirtz has turned over a new leaf and is working for the side of good. Nowadays they all like him except for Peter Sam who is gets annoyed at Doofenshmirtz's habit of mistaking Peter Sam for a green Platypus called Perry the Platypus. When Peter has Doofenshmirtz as a passenger on his train, a fedora will be blown off a passenger's head on to Peter Sam's head by the wind. This will lead to Doofenshmirtz first saying "A green train?" when he first sees Peter Sam, then after the fedora lands on Peter Sam's head, "PERRY THE GREEN TRAIN?!" this is followed by both Peter Sam and a nearby green platypus passenger called Perry roiling their eyes at Doofenshmirtz's inability to recognise Perry without his hat.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines had heard about an one wheel locomotive deity in the Pantheon. They were amazed that a locomotive was able to move along the rails with just one wheel. They ask to meet Claptrap so they could see the one wheel train but rather than a train they were surprised to find a small box shaped robot. Claptrap explained that his title is "The Deity with One Wheel Locomotion" not "The Deity with One Wheel Locomotive" which cleared up the misunderstanding.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines remind the Star Fleet of their friend Puffa, a steam train that delivers cargo to the port. So they arranged for part of the Skarloey Railway line to end at the Star Tugs' temple where cargo can be swapped from one mode of transportation to another. While the cargo is unloaded the engines and tugs use the time to talk and become friends with each other. Duncan and Top Hat dislike each other for their habit of complaining all the time, each thinking that "I don't complain that much!" O.J. and Rheneas thinks that it is because they are so alike in personality.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines are hated by Simon Laurent for reminding him of the Infinity Train another sentience train controlled by a little robot called One-One. The Skarloey Railway Engines also hate Simon as well for using the train to killing people. Tulip has been riding on the Skarloey Railway with Lake, they are finding it a lot more pleasant ride than the Infinity train. Skarloey was wondering why Lake decided to name herself after a lake, Lake pointed out that Skarloey is named for a railway that was named for a lake.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines hate any one deity that destroyed their fellow trains on purpose, they will understand if it was an accident that destroyed a train. Despite the fact that Gomez is a Rail Enthusiast the Skarloey Railway Engines dislike Gomez for his habit of destroying and damaging his model trains. When they asked Gomez what he thought it would be like if he was the one being damaged or destroyed. Gomez thought that it was a great idea for fun and went to find a magic caster so he could have a go as a train. After that they decided that the best thing to do would to just leave Gomez along.
  • Many deities have used the Skarloey Railway to take themselves places such as the Saving Grace Animal Sanctuary, Gigatron Mall, Elysium Academy and many more places, the Engines are happy to take them wherever they want to go. Cacofonix took some of the Elysium Academy students deities on a field trip, the Skarloey Railway Engines agreed to take them as long as Cacofonix doesn't sing because they don't want the track washing away. They also have asked deities that control elements to be careful around the trains and their tracks to avoid damaging the tracks and derailing trains. However the deities that control the elements have been asked to help to fix the railway if they can, such as clearing a landslide from the tracks.
  • The fact that Skarloey Railway Engines were originally designed for carry slate allows them to carry any debris from Obelix's menhir quarry that isn't suitable to carve into menhirs, but other deities might want. Anna was one deity who received some of Obelix's debris that was transported by the railway, she was pleased to find some gems inside the debris the trains deliver. She asked if the Skarloey Railway Engines just transport rocks or do they transport other goods, they told her that they can transport other things. This gave Anna the idea to transport some of her products by rail and as an even further thanks she put the Skarloey Railway Engines in touch with other deities (such as Apu Nahasapeemapetilon) that would like them to transport cargo.
  • All members of the Skarloey Railway Engines are scared of The Rock of Ages. They are worried about it deciding to try and run them over just like a boulder with a face tried to do in Sodor. They feel sorry for Indiana Jones who has also had to run from boulders chasing him. The Skarloey Railway Engines keep referring to Indiana as Mr. Henry Jones Jr. since they usually refer to people by their formal name but Indiana is hoping to change that.
  • Exclusive to specific characters:
    • Skarloey doesn't like any gods that their pranks end up causing trouble for his passengers or worse they put them in danger. While the Skarloey Railway Engines dislike most of the Jokes and Pranks Pantheon, Skarloey hates Laetitia specifically for a prank she did which involving her putting spiders everywhere on a train he was taking which lead to a lot of scared passengers and the train staff.
    • When Rheneas had an accident on the line, the Straw Hat Pirate Franky was called to repair him. Rheneas was unsure about having a shipwright repairing him until Franky explained that he was taught by his mentor Tom how to repair trains and has repaired trains before. Rheneas thanked Franky by offering Franky a free ride anytime he wanted. Franky took him up on the offer and brought the rest of the Straw Hats Pirates to enjoy the train ride too, but Zoro somehow got so lost that he ended up riding on another train, much to the confusion of Peter Sam who was pulling the train.
    • Peter Sam suffered an accident with an icicle that caused his funnel to broken afterwards he had to used a drainpipe as a replacement till a new funnel was made. This has led him to empathize with other deities that have lost limbs as well such as Cherry Darling, Ash Williams, Adam Jensen and Victor Stone. This has also led him to strike up a friendship with Winry Rockbell, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, there was a few problems at the start of the friendship like Peter Sam mistaking Alphonse Elric as the Fullmetal Alchemist and Alphonse thinking that Peter Sam is a train with a human soul transmutated into it. Peter Sam prefers to avoid going through the hall of Ice and Cold but he will go through if necessary.
    • Sir Handel and Lightning McQueen bonded over being mentored by old geezers, and their hatred of road-pavers. Falcon and Stuart were kept in line by the Old Master Duke on the Mid-Sodor Railway; Lightning happened to end up in the town where the retired racecar Doc Hudson lived. Lightning was forced to repair Radiator Springs' road and tried to escape multiple times; Sir Handel got into an argument with George the Steamroller at a level crossing. Lightning's best friend, Mater, has an honorary knighthood, so he assumed that Sir Handel was also of high status. Skarloey later clarified that he's not actually a "sir"; that's just his name.
    • Rusty is fond of telling the story about a ghost train that fell off a bridge into a swamp after getting halfway across the bridge, Rusty says that the ghost of the train appears at midnight still trying to get across the bridge. He has been asked to stop telling the story to members of the pantheon that are easily scared or afraid of ghosts. He had frightened his friends Duncan, Ten Cents and Sunshine as well as Franky's Chopper, Usopp, Nami and Brook who were visiting Franky while he was giving Rusty a coat of paint and Rusty told the ghost story to pass the time. Rusty still tells people stories but he no longer tells scary stories to people that are easily scared. Rusty love of stories did make him a new friend called Wishbone who likes to tell stories too.
    • Duncan dislikes scary things so he stays away from halls of the Pantheon that are scary. Hercules of the Star Tugs told him about the time the rest of the Star Fleet were scared of ghost tugs but there was a reasonable explanation for all the stuff they saw and it is probably the same for most of the supernatural stuff he has seen. Duncan did believe Hercules' explanation until he saw a white tug without lights on, the sight of which caused him to flee back to his temple grumbling all the way. Sunshine was surprised to see Duncan flee at the sight of him, he was coming to tell Hercules that the hall of Jokes and Pranks had covered Sunshine in flour and was going to wash the flour off and he didn't have his lights on because it was daytime.

  • Worthy opponents: Grand Admiral Thrawn, Zhuge Liang, Robin, Lord Recluse, Tywin Lannister,
  • Rivals: Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish.
  • Employed: Agent 47, Professional Assassins.
  • Respects: Discworld's Death, The Hall of Planning,
  • Vetinari is a master strategist and manipulator with an eye for details, an expert politician and assassin. Knows the nature of anyone he observes for more than a few minutes. He is the tyrannical ruler of the City of Ankh-Morpork. He is hated by the people of Ankh-Morpork but the people of Ankh-Morpork prefer him over any other options because any replacements turn out to be worse that him at the job. So even when he isn't in charge, he soon asked to become the ruler again because his replacement couldn't handle the job of ruling Ankh-Morpork.
  • The story of Vetinari's ascension began when the various corporations and factions in the pantheon could not work with each other. Each of factions and the corporations were sabotaging each other even when it wasn't in their best interests. Eventually it was decided to bring in someone who could handle the task of getting the factions and the corporations to work together and Vetinari was the person chosen to do so. He was able to get the sides working together when it would be better for them to do so, however after he had solve the problem the corporations and factions decided that they didn't need him anymore and kicked him out of power. After that they started working against each other again until they realised that things were better with Vetinari in charge so they gave him back his job and are now reluctant to have him leave it again.
  • He was interested in Grand Admiral Thrawn however they never in the same area at the same time. They recently met in the house of craft at a painting exhibition of Yusuke Kitagawa's works, Vetinari knowing of Thrawn's interest of art knew that such an event would be the best chance of meeting Thrawn so he arranged for the exhibition of Yusuke Kitagawa's works. They respect each others skills as strategists despite the fact that work in different fields. Vetinari has taught Thrawn about the game of Thud! in order to get an opponent that could challenge him in the game.
  • He hates Mimes, any that he sees get chain up in his temple's dungeon with a sign saying "Learn The Words." Upon meeting Mime from Happy Tree Friends, Vetinari immediately had Mime chained up in the dungeon in his temple for being a mime. This led to the rest of Happy Tree Friends disliking Vetinari for what he had done. Vetinari has banned Mime from his temple so that he doesn't have to have Mime thrown in the dungeon again.
  • Vetinari has been known to take his heralds and dogs Wuffles and Mr Fusspot on walks around the Pantheon's gardens. During one walk he met Hachiko and his herald/owner Hidesaburō Ueno. Hachiko made friends with Vetinari's dogs Wuffles and Mr Fusspot and had lots of fun with his new friends in the Pantheon's Park. Vetinari and Ueno were also enjoying talking about the great things about Dogs.
  • Vetinari's love of dogs has made him an enemy of all gods that abuse and bully dogs including Cruella de Vil and Garfield. He wants to lock up Cruella de Vil for trying to make coats of dogs. Cruella didn't help her case by trying to buy his dogs to make into coats. Garfield was furious to hear that because he just bullies some dogs who bully him back, he is nowhere as bad as Cruella.
  • Vetinari respects the members of the Hall of Planning with the exceptions of Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, Light Yagami and Benny. Vetinari did respect Ozymandias originally until Vetinari learned of Ozymandias failure to plan for the long term and was disappointed by Ozymandias's shortsightedness. He dislikes Light for his obsession with killing all criminals since Vetinari finds some have their uses. He dislikes Benny the most because the other two were at least competent enough to achieve some of their goals, Benny couldn't even kill someone correctly.
  • He thinks that it was stupid that nobles of the Arcadia Empire to betray Yoruka Kirihime. Since since she was a loyal assassin to the Arcadia Empire and she would have been more useful to Arcadia Empire as a servant of the empire rather than an enemy. He has since sent an offer to her to do some paid work for him. He understands if she wouldn't accept and plans to just leave her alone if she refuses.
  • Vetinari as a former assassin respects the skills of 47. He has noted that they have both used camouflage and disguised themselves as other people. Vetinari does think that 47 should either buy some wigs to improve his disguises or at least get his tattoo removed so he is harder for people to notice. 47 professionalise has made him one of Vetinari's main choices when he needs an assassin in the pantheon.
  • Vetinari believes that a tyrant should be feared, indispensable and respected by his people. This has led him to view tyrants that rule through hate like Prime minister Honest as foolish and incompetent people that give tyrants a bad name. Honest thinks that Vetinari is a fool for not doing whatever he wants. Jafar is viewed by Vetinari as a foolish for going after more power since he already had the Sultan under his control so he was basically the ruler in all but name.
  • While Vetinari can manipulate most people using their mindsets and goals to make them do things that he wants to do. However there are some people that he can't manipulate those that have a mindset and goals that he can't understand. This has prevented him from being able to manipulate the Joker who has caused him trouble by dressing up as Charlie the Clown in order to infiltrate Vetinari's temple in order to plant a whoopee cushion on the his seat. Unfortunately for the Joker Vetinari is observant enough to notice the whoopee cushion and Vetinari couldn't manipulate the Joker but he could manipulate Batman to go after the Joker.
  • He has a new rival in the form of Littlefinger, who is very impressed with Vetinari's trickery and cunning. Vetinari however, is suspicious of him. As of right now, the two are civil to each other when they met, however each is trying to manipulate the other behind their back. Vetinari is willing to work with him if it is in his best interests but he always has plans ready for when Littlefinger tries to betrayed him.
  • Vetinari views The Evil Geniuses as fools that will never be happy with the power they have. He thinks that they could rule the planet and still want to rule more things. He told them that they should stick to the power they can handle and try to rule a country legally so the law can't come after them. He said that if they are trying to take over the world, they could try to make it so that the lives of the people are better with them in charge which would give them more loyal followers.
  • Lord Recluse and Vetinari respect each other for their skills in leadership, manipulation and managing to keep various factions under control. People have tried to depose them both only to want them back after their replacements do a worse job at running things. Vetinari agrees with Lord Recluse policy on not allowing racial and sexual intolerance, both of them realising that it would be better to have their people's knowledge and work being used to help them rather than helping their enemies. Vetinari also agrees with Lord Recluse on the fact that they have a responsibility to their people.
  • Vetinari has a respectful relationship with Tywin Lannister. They both have been played by actor Charles Dance. Vetinari has suggested to Tywin Lannister that he shouldn't of mistreated his children, but instead raised them to be competent politicians and rulers so when Tywin died his kingdom wouldn't collapse. Tywin has pointed out that Vetinari hasn't got children so he wouldn't know what is was like to raise heirs.

  • Feared by: Napoleon (Animal Farm)Piglet, Hawk, Babe, Pumbaa,
  • Pities: Hephaestus/Vulcan,
  • Have visited: Londinium/London,
  • While the trio of Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix are known for having adventures together it wasn't always the case. Obelix only started joining Asterix on his adventures after Asterix had already had one. During one such adventure they came across a butcher shop in Lutetia/modern day Paris and a dog outside decided to follow them, it wasn't till they were back in the Village that the dog decided to make it's presence known to Obelix who adopted the little dog and named him Dogmatix.
    • Asterix: Is the best warrior of his village, using both his cunning and the super strength that he gets from Getafix's magic potion. In his earliest adventure he went to save the druid Getafix from the nearby Roman Camp.
    • Obelix: Obelix is the village's menhir deliver man and strongest warrior in village, due to having fallen into a cauldron of Getafix's Magic potion when he was a kid which gave him permanent super strength. He uses his super strength to help him beat up his foes and to carry menhirs on his back. He loves eating wild boars and fighting.
    • Dogmatix: Dogmatix is Obelix's constant canine companion, he goes on some of the adventures with Asterix and Obelix. He loves trees and howls whenever one is knocked down. He likes to bite any of the trio's enemies on the butt, however if Obelix is being very foolish Dogmatix is not above bitting his master on the butt to teach him a lesson.
  • After having halted constant attacks and other threats from the Romans against his unnamed village, the court of gods had decided to award Asterix with the role of God of Indomitable Villages. The Romans soldiers now fear the village more than ever now that the they have a god on their side. Obelix was sick of being the god of Big Fun since the role kept him away from his best friend Asterix. So he made an appeal to the court of gods so he could join Asterix as another God of Indomitable Villages. The court approved his appeal and let his herald Dogmatix ascend to role of god of Indomitable Villages with him.
  • The trio's temple looks like their Village with surround with the sea on one side and a forest on the others and on the other side of the forest are four Roman camps (Aquarium, Compendium, Laudanum and Totorum). Inside the village it is an near exact copy of the trio's village, the main difference is that there are portals for each of Asterix's friends to travel to their own temples in the pantheon. Asterix and Obelix just use their own houses in the Village as their homes in the pantheon. If any deity was to visit it they would find rest of villagers living their normal days such as Fulliautomatix the village blacksmith hitting Cacofonix to stop him from singing, the various Gauls arguments and fights over Unhygienix's fish, Chief Vitalstatistix falling of his shield. The Gauls are friendly to most people with the exception of any soldiers attacking the village. The village is magical protected from fire attacks while in Pantheon in order to ensure that Brutus or any other deity doesn't burn it to ashes.
  • The first thing that the duo did after being given the same role in the pantheon was to go to Julius Caesar's temple in order to celebrate the fact that the duo was back together by battling some Roman Soldiers. Afterwards they decided to said hello to Julius Caesar while they were there. They found Caesar trying to hide his Laurel Wreath from the duo just incase were trying to take his Laurel Wreath again to flavour a stew. Caesar told them that Brutus is in the Pantheon and suggested that they destroy Brutus' temple as payback for Brutus ordering his soldiers to burn Asterix's Village to the ground with fire arrows. They agreed and thanked Caesar for using his soldiers to have the Village reconstructed.
  • Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix usually get along with their fellow Villagers who are in the pantheon. However Obelix has been seen fighting Unhygienix about which food is better fish or boars. They like Cacofonix as long as he doesn't sing, Asterix isn't above using Cacofonix's singing skills against their foes but the minute the bard is in danger the trio is willing to go and rescue him. They respect their Chief Vitalstatistix most of time unless he is doing something very foolish, Vitalstatistix respects them in turn but has decided not to let them carry him on his shield because of their heights would make them carry the shield at such a steep angle that it would be impossible for Vitalstatistix to stay on.
  • Cleopatra thinks very highly of the trio after they helped win her bet with Caesar and they prevented her from being poisoned. So much so that she later left them her's and Caesar's son Caesarion to protect from Brutus who was trying to kill him in order to make himself the sole heir. She is sorry that Brutus had their Village reduced to ashes and has asked magicians to cast spells to insure that the can't be burnt down again. She is willing to hold a feast in her temple as a thank you for all that they have done.
  • Ever since the duo was reunited, Asterix and Obelix decided to start one of their favorite habits: travelling around the Pantheon, more often than meeting fellow Franco-Belgian deities Tintin and Lucky Luke on the way. Both are thus honorary members of the house of Travel. Tintin told Obelix that if Dogmatix was Obelix's herald he could enter the Pantheon as well. Which led to Obelix going to the Court of Gods and asking them to let Dogmatix ascended as his herald, the court approved Dogmatix as Obelix's herald. Later during Obelix's appeal to join his friend Asterix as the god of Indomitable Villages Tintin gave Obelix's appeal support and when Dogmatix gave the court the puppy dog eyes Tintin suggested that they change the verdict to let Dogmatix in as a god of Indomitable Villages. The court said that Dogmatix was allowed to join his master in the Pantheon as a God instead of a herald.
  • Asterix and Obelix have spent some of their adventures travelling around world usually by foot or by boat. During their travels they keep coming across the same group of pirates led by Redbeard, which is followed by a battle that ends with the pirates beaten up and the pirates ship sunk. This has led the hall of pirates declaring that Asterix and Obelix are not to be let anywhere near the hall of Piracy. It also led them to go after Shanks, because Obelix heard Red-headed pirate and thought that it was the pirates that they keep coming across and decided to battle them to say hello, Asterix went after Shanks to warn him about Obelix's attack, it was too late Shanks had already defeated Obelix. Shanks said not to worry about it since it was a bit of fun and gave him an excuse to have a feast and party with his new friends.
  • Despite all the trouble the Romans have given them the trio, they don't hate all Romans just the bad ones. One such Roman they hate is Augustus for how he treated Cleopatra and the fact that he had Caesarion killed, the very baby that the trio protected from Brutus. While Gaulish culture prevents the trio from attacking the female version of Nero, they have no such compulsions against attacking the male version for all his terrible actions. Caligula is another Roman that the trio hate for his crimes and the fact that he is giving Romans like their worthy opponent Juilius Caesar a bad name.
  • The trio have no problem with most of the Roman deities in the pantheon, they do dislike a few Roman deities for the crimes they have committed. They despises the Roman god Saturn for eating his children. Zeus (who they know as the Roman God Jupiter) for giving the Thunder deities such a bad name and his various crimes. They dislike Vulcan for being the god of the Romans weapons but they pity him for what he has gone through.
  • Asterix
    • Despite owning a sword, he hardly ever uses the weapon. Surprisingly, Asterix prefers to outwit his opponents. As such, he isn't one to cause fights unless challenged or provoked into doing so. He still trains with his sword and he has had sparring matches with Zorro, Zoro and Samurai Jack.
    • Much of his superhuman strength comes from a magic potion from the druid Getafix. Many gods of strength sought him out for feats of strength. Hercules enjoyed his company and is often challenging him in arm wrestling contests. Popeye was less than impressed, claiming spinach is a much better formula to grant super strength.
    • Asterix has caught the attention of the God of Thunder Thor as the two share main traits: particularly their blonde hair and wing helmets. Asterix did mistake him for Taranis (the Gaul's own God of Thunder) at first. Still, that didn't stop them from becoming fast friends. His sharp wit has also come in handy when confronting Loki's Trickery.
    • While the Gauls like hitting Roman Soldiers, Gaulish customs prevent them from hitting any woman even in battle. This proved a problem when the female Nero attacked. Asterix would have to find a way to defeat her that didn't involve battle, his first idea was to scare her off with Cacofonix's horrible singing but instead of being scared off like most people would be, she instead started her horrible singing as well to prove that she was the better at singing, unfortunately for everyone in the temple, the Hall and the House who heard their singing. His second idea was try to feed her a meal with Unhygienix's stale fish however at the time Unhygienix had just got an order of fresh fish so there was no stale fish for the meal. His third plan was to tell her that there was a competition in the House of Music for to find the greatest singer in the pantheon, Asterix knew that her ego would cause her to join the competition to prove that she is the best singer.
    • One of Asterix's new friends is Caesar who Asterix first met when Asterix went to visit him thinking that his ally César had joined the pantheon. Asterix and Caesar surprisingly quickly became friends, both respecting the other Guile Hero status. Caesar has started teaching Asterix chess so they have more board games that can play together. Obelix thinks that it is funny that Asterix that has made a friend with the same name as Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar himself doesn't know what to think about it
    • While most of the Roman Gods dislike the trio for all the times that they have defeated Roman plots against their Village. Hermes dislikes Asterix for his habit of wearing a winged helmet. Asterix for his part doesn't really care about Hermes grudge although he has wondered who would be quicker Asterix with the magic potion or Hermes and has suggested that they have a friendly race. This annoys Hermes, who gets mad at the fact that Asterix doesn't seem to be taking him seriously.
  • Obelix
    • Obelix hates people deities who cut down or knock down trees because his pet Dogmatix cries whenever he sees a tree is cut down or knocked down. This has led him to attacking the Eco-Villains for their part in destroying trees and especially Looten Plunder, who is usually Obelix's main target of the group. This has led Obelix to get along with Asura who also punchs things that make his loved ones cry.
    • He is feared by all the swines members of the Pantheon especially by Napoleon (Animal Farm), Piglet, Hawk, Babe and Pumbaa - who have been warned to avoid him, lest Obelix thinks he can feed on them. It was decided to ban Obelix from the Hall of Ungulates in order to protect them from him. Obelix's love of wild boars did get him in trouble when he went after Ganon thinking that he was just a big wild boar, Ganon used his powers and skills to defeat Obelix. Before Ganon could kill him Ganon was distracted by the arrival of Link. Which led Obelix to get out of there because he had decided it wasn't worth it. Obelix decided to go after Okkoto-nushi the God of Boars instead.
    • Ever since he's visited the House of Beast to compensate for him missing Dogmatix who hadn't been granted the role of Obelix's herald at the time, Obelix has made friends with two big-eating animals deities. Po, who likes fighting and food as well with the two occasionally brawling for fun. As well as Garfield, even if the cat likes abusing dogs, fortunately Garfield is smart enough not to bully any dogs and especially not Dogmatix in Obelix present.
    • His heightened appetite made the House of Food not allow Obelix entry more than once a day in their House. He was also banned from Mount Volbono but to compensate, a wild boar rotisserie that never runs out was installed in his and Asterix's temple. Obelix did try to sneak in to the House of Food by disguising himself as chef by putting a chef's hat on, however he was recognised by the members of the House of Food and was kicked out of the House. Obelix decided to give the House of Food a menhir as a peace offering, after a talk with Obelix the House of Food decided to give him any bones that were leftover from meals so Obelix could give them to Dogmatix. Obelix thanked them and left.
    • Obelix is frequently invited to competitions on strength, rock carving and eating. However, he is banned from the Olympics organized from the House of Sports because the magic potion makes him a permanent case of doping. During one such eating competition he came across a rival with an appetite to rival his own Straw Hat Luffy, the competition ended in a win for Luffy. Obelix wasn't impressed by all the boiled meat he was served because he prefers roast meat. Luffy has decided to introduce Obelix to Sanji who has made dishes that Obelix has never had, such as roast turkey sandwiches since turkeys hadn't reached France yet because the Asterix comics take place around 50 BC/BCE.
    • When Obelix isn't travelling or hunting boars for food, he is usually found either in his quarry carving menhirs or out delivering menhirs to people. He has the Skarloey Railway Engines delivering rocks he finds in his quarry that are no good for turning into menhirs. Anna gets the valuable rocks that have gems in, in return Anna provides Obelix with picks that he uses to carve the menhirs and big bones for Dogmatix. Maud Pie sometimes visits Obelix's quarry to see if there are any rocks that would interest her, if there are Obelix has the Skarloey Railway Engines take any rocks that she wants to her temple, in return Maud Pie and Obelix discuss methods of carving rock and Obelix has someone with rock carving skills that can give him a bit of friendly competition.
    • "These tropers are crazy!"
  • Dogmatix
    • Dogmatix is usually found by Obelix's side, however he has since made a new friend in a fellow Silent Snarker dog called Gromit. Who knows what it is like to have a master that is foolish. Other dogs that Dogmatix has made friends with are Hachiko, Balto and Odie. Odie reminds Dogmatix of his master Obelix, both being kind and simple. Obelix is worried that Balto might be a bad influence on Dogmatix, just like the wolves Dogmatix met on an adventure. However Balto has since proven himself to Obelix as a loyal and kind dog-wolf so Obelix has begun to trust him with Dogmatix.

  • Getafix is the Indomitable Village's druid, former teacher, a wise old man who's gives advice to the villagers. He is capable of creating many potions using both science and magic with various effects such as healing wounds and erasing memories. He is well known for using his Golden Sickle to gather any ingredients he needs such as Mistletoe for his potions. He is the only person who knows what the recipe is for the magic potion that gives the Gauls their powers.
  • The houses of Science and Magic have been trying to reverse-engineer Getafix's Magic potion from Obelix's fluids, to no success. So they decided to have the Magic Potion's creator ascended in order for them to get the formula from him. In order to do so they poisoned Vitalstatistix with some of Unhygienix's fish. Counting on the fact that Vitalstatistix would call for Getafix to cure him. Getafix arrived at the Pantheon and used his Golden Sickle to collect the ingredients needed to cure Vitalstatistix. Now that Getafix was in Pantheon, the houses of Science and Magic immediately made sure that Getafix god the role of God of Druidic Sickles in order to ensure that Getafix stayed in the pantheon as a permanent member.
  • While Getafix has not stated what the full recipe for the magic potion is, he has let slip what some of the ingredients are. Some members of the halls of Fields of Science and Scientists and Geniuses are trying to recreate the magic potion. This has led them to ordering Mistletoe cut by a golden sickle, a few roots, four leaf clovers, fresh fish, rock oil, beetroot juice, carrots, salt, and lobster. Getafix has suggested not using rock oil because beetroot juice works better and is better for the environment.
  • The recipe for the magic potion is only found in Getafix's brain. The knowledge of the recipe has been passed from druid to druid through word of mouth. Therefore the only people in the Pantheon that Getafix could pass it to are the Druids Malfurion Stormrage and Leshy. However Getafix only intends to tell his successor as the Village's druid the recipe, so he will not tell either of them what it is.
  • One problem that Getafix still has to deal with despite ascending into the Pantheon is Obelix trying to get a taste of the magic potion. Getafix keeps reminding Obelix that he can't have any since he fell into a cauldron of magic potion as a child and when he drank a cauldron of magic potion he turned to stone and it took all of Getafix's skills to get him back to normal. Despite that fact Obelix still keeps trying to have a taste of magic potion, when Getafix refuses to give him he tries to disguise himself as someone else with a different hat called Xilebo. Getafix always sees through Obelix's disguise so he doesn't give him any magic potion, this does lead to Obelix wondering how Getafix managed to see through his disguise.
  • The other Indomitable Gauls in are grateful for the magic potion, they are well aware that they wouldn't stand a chance against the Romans without it. Getafix in turn is grateful that Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix are willing to go on adventures to rescue him, get some ingredients or get him a new Golden Sickle. He likes that the Gauls can release some stress by having a fish fight as long as there is still some fresh fish left for the magic potion. Getafix has been seen having meetings together with fellow members of the Village Council Cacofonix and Chief Vitalstatistix in order to ensure that any major problems are dealt with.
  • Among Getafix's various creations is a potion that makes acorns grow trees quickly once they are planted in the ground. This immediately interested the Once-ler who hoped that Getafix could do the same for the Truffula seed. He was planning on using the seed to grow a new Truffula wood to try to repair some of the damage the Once-ler has done. Unfortunately for the Once-ler the potion doesn't work outside of the Pantheon or Getafix's home world, so he can't use it to fix the damage the Once-ler has done to his world.
  • The tree growing potion is of interest to the members of the House of Plants who are using it to grow lots of trees. There were a few mistakes in using the potion, several deities just poured it in a hole with nothing happening with Getafix explaining that they needed to treat the seeds with the potion. Others had put multiple treated seeds in same hole creating hybrid plants. The Smurfs were asked to be careful with the potion, incase they accidentally end up at the top of a newly grown tree.
  • Many members of the Pantheon were worried when it came to light that Getafix was Cacofonix's predecessor. Thankfully Getafix explained to them that he was Cacofonix's predecessor as a teacher not as a bard. After hearing that the House of School suggested that Getafix could teach some lessons just like Cacofonix does. Getafix agreed as long as he didn’t have to give lessons on what ingredients are in his Magic potion.
  • Among Getafix's new friends in the hall of Religious Practice his closest friend is Friar Tuck. Both are kindly priests of a religion who are willing to stand up to tyrants and are willing to fight if need be. They have shared various bits of knowledge with each other and discuss various topics. This did leave to an attempted kidnapping of Friar Tuck under the false belief that one of the bits of knowledge that Getafix had shared was the recipe for the magic potion, however the kidnappers were unsuccessful because Getafix had given Friar Tuck some Magic potion. Much to Prince John's annoyance since he was the one that sent the kidnappers.
  • Getafix is glad that Elsa understands that just because some demons are evil doesn't mean that all are. Getafix pointed out the fact that he doesn't hate all the Romans just the evil ones he understands that most of the Roman soldiers as just regular people doing their jobs. They have both been seen going together to the House of Nature to find some plants with each offering their knowledge of plants to the other. Getafix did get into a bit of trouble with her when he guessed her age at being twenty years old, rather than her actual age of being always fifteen years old.
  • Getafix dislike people like Judge, the Mad Doctor, who use their knowledge for evil means. He points out that they should use their knowledge to help people rather than hurt them. They did try to trick Getafix into sharing with them the recipe of the magic potion, however Getafix was wise enough to see through their trick. So Getafix decided to play a trick on them, he gave them a recipe for a real magic potion but this magic potion doesn't give people super strength instead it cause rapid hair growth for a day. This led to Judge and the Mad Doctor having hair longer than Rapunzel.
  • Getafix has earned the dislike of Rodin, Hephaestus and Dyntos for not using their impressive forging skills and instead choosing to go with the sickle maker Metallurgix. Getafix says that he would prefer someone who specialises in making sickles rather than someone who doesn't even if they are gods. He also doesn't want Rodin to turn a demon into a golden sickle because the demon's powers might interfere with the powers of the golden sickle, which might cause side effects in the ingredients he harvests with it. He is willing to have Dyntos or Hephaestus forge a cauldron for him to use, but after saying that their skills are not good enough for Getafix to have them forge a golden sickle they refused to help Getafix, so Getafix decided to just have Asterix's follower the Indomitable Village's Blacksmith Fulliautomatix make one.
  • Cleopatra is expressed with the skills he used to help the Egyptian architect build a palace for Caesar as part of a bet between Cleopatra and Juilius Caesar. Juilius respects him for creating a magic potion that lets the Gauls defeat his troops but he dislikes the fact that this potion means he has never been able rule all of Gaul. Getafix's wisdom has allowed him to see through all of the schemes that Caesar and his minions have tried to defeat the village, unfortunately Getafix is one of the few villagers that can see through the scheme straight away.
  • Since ascending Getafix has picked up a few rivals in the art of potion making. Plague Knight is impressed with Getafix's potion making skills but he thinks that his potion bombs are superior to Getafix's magic potion. Dr N. Brio wants to use Getafix's knowledge to make his potions more lethal but Getafix has refused. Dr N. Brio also wants to find out which is better his mutagen or Getafix's magic potion.

  • Of Interest to: Hody Jones due to his ability to sink ships.
  • Jonah is an unlucky sailor who goes onto ships only for his luck or clumsiness to cause something to happen that makes the ship sink. He has been on one hundred and thirty-eight ships that have sunk soon afterwards. He causes fear in any sailor who recognised him because they know that the ship he is on will sink. Sometimes the very sight of him will cause the crew of ships to flee, sometimes they flee so fast that they can't stop from crashing into something in front of them.
  • The Pantheon first heard about the ship sinking incidents when Unhygienix had hired out his fishing boat to a group of sailors. One of the sailors was called Jonah and he was able to hook a fish, but the fish pulled him off the boat. Jonah held tightly onto his fishing rod even when the fish turned around then went under the boat while Jonah went right through the boat, leaving a Jonah shaped hole in the boat that caused it to sink. This caused Jonah to let go of the fishing rod and crash into the boats at the docks sinking all of them. Afterwards, the shipwright Franky was called to repair the boats, and Franky suggested that Jonah try to sail a metal boat that Franky had made, but Jonah's clumsiness and bad luck caused that boat to sink too. It was decided that Jonah would be sent to the House of Craft to keep him busy doing something that would make it impossible for him to sink any boats while the Court of Gods made a decision about him. The Court of Gods decided to make Jonah the God of Sinking Ship Scenarios and made sure that his temple was kept well away from any boats in his hall. Jonah was told of his ascension after being thrown out of the House of Craft for causing boats in paintings, statues of boats and ships in bottles to all sink.
  • Jonah is kept away from any living boats because of his clumsiness and bad luck would cause them to sink. The Star Fleet dare not go anywhere near where Jonah is because of his reputation of causing ships to sink. They fear that the moment they will meet him, they will suffer an accident that will send them down into a watery grave. The Shipgirls fear him because their ship forms getting sunk will turn them into their Abyssal counterparts. Thankfully, if the Abyssal counterpart are sunk, they turn back into regular ship girls.
  • One day when Jonah was sailing his newest homemade ship, he was surprised when a seaplane made a crash landing in front of him. The plane crash distracted him from steering his ship, which caused him to crash it into a nearby dock which caused enough damage to the ship that it sank below the waves. The pilot of the seaplane, Launchpad McQuack, helped Jonah get out of the water and on to dry lane. Launchpad was happy to find someone that had gone through similar mishaps to him because they could relate to each other. This led to them becoming firm friends. They even sailed in a ship that they had built together which then crashed and sank. Undeterred, they decided to built another ship, they named Pantheon 32 after the previous thirty-one ships called Pantheon. They are both known around the pantheon as walking disaster areas to vehicles, but the people on the vehicles always survive.
  • Due to Jonah's clumsiness and bad luck, it is decided to ban him from the vehicle depot just in case his clumsiness and bad luck that causes ships to sink works on the ships and spaceships in the pantheon. Jonah has been asked if he had anything to do with the original Titanic's sinking, but Jonah just pointed out that he couldn't have anything to do with it because he was born many years after the original Titanic sank. He has had something to do with his homemade boats sinking, some of which he named after the Titanic. However he has been forced to stop calling his homemade boats that name while in the pantheon after people who were on the Titanic like Scrooge McDuck made an appeal to the Court of Gods, who made a ruling making Jonah stop calling his boats Titanic.
  • Most One Piece Deities fear Jonah for his ability to cause ships to sink because the effects of their Devil Fruits cause them to lose the ability to swim. Having Jonah around means that one mistake by him could cause the ship that they are on to sink, which could take out any of the Devil Fruit Eaters on board. One of the few One Piece deities who doesn't fear Jonah is Hordy Jones, who instead seeks to enslave Jonah. Hordy wants to use Jonah as a slave who he can control. Hordy wants to use him as a means to sink humanity's ships. As bad as Jonah is towards ships in the pantheon, most people realise that it would be better for everyone if he was kept well away from Hordy Jones.
  • When Jonah was first seen in the pantheon, he was on a fishing boat with some other sailors when he caused it to sink. This caused Haddock and Popeye to have a dislike of Jonah, since they were on the fishing boat as well when it sank. Unhygienix was especially angry since it was his boat that Jonah had sunk, so Jonah was forced to run away from Unhygienix, who was trying to throw fish at him. Jonah got lucky when his clumsiness caused him to trip and the fish ended up hitting Obelix, who decided to return the fish by hitting Unhygienix on the head with it. This caused Unhygienix to fight Obelix over his fish, allowing Jonah to escape.
  • Rear Admiral Tamon Yamaguchi hates Jonah for not not going down with the ships he sinks. Jonah says he goes down with the ships but since he is usually working on the deck, he ends up in the water and just swims either to land or a nearby ship. The reason he is usually found on deck is because the ship's captains figure that it is the place where he could do the least amount damage to the ship. Tamon Yamaguchi's temple is his ship, so he tries to keep Jonah well away from it, to prevent Jonah from making it sink again.
  • After Jonah caused a pirate ship to sink, the crew in the life boats decides to throw him out of the boat. Jonah decides to swim for land, however he was soon rescued by a crocodile that makes a ticking sound like a clock. The crocodile transports him to the pirate ship Jolly Roger and then uses his tail to hit Jonah on to the ship. Captain Hook is afraid to see Jonah, Hook yelling out 'Agh! It's 'im!' Hook's crew panics after hearing that and they accidentally created holes in Hook's ship, causing it to sink. Unfortunately for Hook, he was left in the water with Tick-Tock the Croc, who decides to try and eat him. Hook was last seen swimming for his life with the Croc chasing him.
  • Jonah is known for causing boats to sink in the sea, rivers, lakes, and ponds, but could he sink a boat that was already underwater? That was the question that led to Jonah being introduced to Spongebob Squarepants and Jonah being given a diving suit so he could go through a portal into Spongebob's universe. There, Spongebob suggested that he could have a try driving a boat at Mrs. Puff's boating school. During the drive, Jonah accidentally presses the accelerator pedal instead of the brake pedal, causing the boat to go so fast up a nearby ramp that it breaks the sea level and goes into the sky before sinking below sea level again. After that incident, it was decided that the best thing to do would be to return Jonah back through the portal into the Pantheon before he could cause any more damage.
  • One day, Jonah heard about some sailors with magic powers, he went to introduce himself to them while hoping that he didn't sink their boats. He was surprised to find ten magical girls who Jonah thought that they were ten superheroes. They explained that their outfits are called sailor uniforms and that they weren't the type of sailor that Jonah was looking for. They are unsure if Jonah totally understood their explanation since Jonah now seems to think that Magical Girl is the name of their team.
  • Like most sailors Jonah respects any Gods that can control the elements that can effect a sailor's voyage. He tries to stay on their good side so they don't cause any ship he is on to sink. The Gods have pointed out that Jonah doesn't need any help with sinking ships, his clumsiness and bad luck sink them before they could even do anything. Poseidon once took Jonah to Charon's temple to see if Jonah would cause Charon's ferry to sink so he could win his bet with Hades. Hades bet that Charon's ferry is the one boat that Jonah couldn't sink, while Poseidon bet that Jonah could make it sink. The winner of the bet was Poseidon, and Jonah was seen being chased by an angry Charon shouting "How dare you sink my ferry, Jonah!"
