Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

What should be added to Shank?

Shank, Goddess of Nice People Who Act Ruthless

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shank_2.png
  • Potential House: Nice and Nasty
  • [tup]s 1 (The Wikia Editor)
  • Rank: Demigoddess
  • Symbol: The Slaughter Race logo
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Acts Chaotic Evil in-game)
  • Portfolio: Action Girl, Ambiguously Brown, Badass in Charge, Badass Driver, Benevolent Boss, Boss Subtitles, Cool Big Sis, Dark Is Not Evil, Expy of Gal Gadot's Gisele Yashar, Looks Almost Exactly Like Her Voice Actress, Gal Gadot, Reasonable Authority Figure
  • Domains: Racing, MMOs, Scripted Dialogue, NPCs
  • Herald: Her teammates in Slaughter Race
  • High Priest:
  • Followers:
  • Allies: Vanellope Von Schweetz (her fellow NPC and teammate in Slaughter Race), Ralph, Fix-It Felix Jr., Sergeant Calhoun, Lightning McQueen, Dominic Toretto, Wonder Woman, Max Rockatansky, Franklin Clinton
  • Enemies: Turbo/King Candy, Calypso
  • Additional Character Relationships:
  • Respected by/Respects:
  • Pities: Jensen Ames
  • Good Counterpart to: Carol/Mom
  • Shank is one of the main bosses of an apocalyptic racing MMO called Slaughter Race. She is a ruthless woman who won't let any of the players stole one of her valuable cars and if they want to steal it, they have to get through her. Outside of the game, she's actually a genuinely caring person who cares about her teammates and considers them her family. It makes sense that she has to act like a mean person because of the game's script telling her about her actions and personality.
  • One of her teammates, Vanellope vouched for her ascencion, as she wanted to race with her in the different parts of the Pantheon and so they could hang out more often, with their other teammates as her heralds. The ascencion became successful as Vanellope is excited to see her friend and showibg the different racing sections of the Pantheon.
  • Thanks to being friends with Vanellope, she ended up hating King Candy. She thinks what King Candy did is horrible, as he stole Vanellope's position as the ruler of Sugar Rush and doesn't want him to hijack Slaughter Race anytime soon. King Candy is interested to hear that Vanellope ended up quitting her home game and joining Slaughter Race, which means that he might have a chance of ruling Sugar Rush again, however, he was banned from entering it again. He thinks that invading Slaughter Race is something worthwhile to do as it basically means he could meet real people in online identities and that there could be multiple people playing it, and wants to manipulate the game to change the rules, and could make himself popular for it. It also helps that it's actually the one of the most popular MMO in the Internet.
  • As a racer, she is of course fascinated meeting up with a sentinent car like Lightning McQueen. McQueen likes how she is a friendly person and how it differentiates her from the role she plays in-game. When she offered him a race in Slaughter Race in the Internet, he refuses, upon learning that it's an apocalyptic wasteland and how often he gets involved in accidents resulting himself in major injuries, he doesn't think he's prepared for any of that.
  • Dominic is confused what to think of her not because she looks and sounds similar to his friend, Gisele but also because she could be describe as extremely similar to her, albeit a much more friendly one. Shank is at first, skeptical of him upon hearing that he did betrayed his team, but is relieved that to see that he was actually blackmailed and he did it to protect his son. She finds a lot in common with him because they care a lot about they're friends that they consider as family and can be protective of them, and while they can be jerks (well, Shank is acting like one because of her game's script, but she still counts) and can be considered criminals, if only Shank has government officials chasing her in her game, they are genuinely nice people who care about friendship a lot.
    • Speaking of similarities, she is suprised to hear that someone sounds and looks like her, who is Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is suprised to see just how utterly kind and honest she is to people and how much she values friendship as she first saw her putting on a tough girl persona. The former proposes to her if she could become an Amazonian Woman as she believes that if she abandones her tough exterior and uses her talent for good deeds, she is worthy of being one. Shank has to decline the offer, stating that she has friends to look after, which Wonder Woman understood. Despite the circumstances, the two still decded that they could be friends.
  • Even though she lives in a MMO where people are supposed to steal each other's cars and kill each other for ir, she doesn't support the competition that Jensen Ames was forced into. She's aware of how much he was traumatized of being forced to participate into an event that he has no free-will of quitting. That said, she doesn't want him to enter Slaughter Race as she fears that stepping into that place would have haunted him, and was relieved upon hearing that he doesn't want to participate in any races that are extremely violent.
    • Is infruriated to learn that Calypso forced Jensen and his friends to join the Twisted Metal tournament just to fill up the roster. When he heard what kind of world Shank lived in, he considers using her as a future candidate in his tournaments, considering that she is an actual gang member in-game, stole cars, actually killed online players and not to mention she is a skilled driver. Hearing this fueled the animosity even more and hopes that he may not consider turning the tournament to look like her own video game considering that he is a Reality Warper.
  • She feels bad of how much Max Rockatandsky has been though. Even though she might never had family, she knew that she will be heartbroken if the friends she consider as family die as well. What makes it worse is that he lives in an apocalyptic dessert wasteland. Because of her experience living there, she decided that she should at least teach him how to survive in a place like that in case he might go on an new adventure. Although he doesn't listen, he actually appreciates the gesture and with them living in similar apocalyptic places, he eventually bonded with her, with Shank trying to get him to become more sociable more often.
  • Meets Franklin upon hearing he's part of a gang like her. She feels bad of him having a crappy job of taking cars as a repo man, she will admit she's proud he got out of the job. Although she's wary of his ambition becoming a successful criminal, she doesn't seem to mind it at least. They appreciate each other of their value on friendship, loyalty on their friends, and how they try to balance out the differences of their friends even if Franklin is not the leader. Upon hearing their skills as drivers, the two promised of having a one-on-one race very soon.
  • Can be considered the good counterpart to Carol/Mom. Shank is a nice person who has to act mean thanks to her video game, while Carol is a person with no kindness who has to act nice due to being a president of a company. Carol is disgusted to see what kind of world Shank is living in and considers taking it over to clean it up, something Shank doesn't take for granted. She also hates how Carol/Mom treats her kids, but of course she never listens.

[up]You could say that as a priest, he wouldn't respect Kiara's beliefs on....questionable things that I don't wanna mention.

Since he is Catholic, Solomon and Moses is here.

There are also the Catholic saints, Saint Martha and Saint George.

I'm sure he'll feel bad for Brian Cohen because he is perceived as the Messiah, something that he doesn't want.

@Shank: Brian O'Connor was the other Fast & Furious character I found.

One profile for Treasures and an overhaul of Gigan. Anything more to suggest for them or do they look ready?

The Plague Inc. Kit

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/plagueinc.png
Packaging/logo for the kit
  • Plagues Included: Bacterias, Viruses, Fungi, Parasites, Prion, Nano-Viruses, The Black Death, Smallpox, Swine Flu, Nipah Virus, Frozen Virus, Neurax Worms, Necroa Viruses, Shadow Plague
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Can Unleash Many Different Deadly Diseases Around the World, Can Kill Anyone and Possibly Everyone
  • Domains: Plagues, Eradication
  • Compatible With: Simian Flu
  • Deities Interested: Albert Wesker, Nurgle, Typhus, Thrax, The Enclave
  • Cause of Concern for: Osmosis Jones
  • The world is functioning normally until someone dubbed "Patient Zero" gets infected by some sort of plague. That particular plague can come in many forms, be it something as ordinary as bacteria or virus, or something much more fantastical, including Neurax Worms and Necroa Viruses. Whatever the specific name and form of that plague, "Patient Zero" will pass it on to someone else and the plague will continue to spread, changing its abilities along the way. It will get to a point where the entire world will fight back against that plague and try to get a cure made before that plague can bring about total planetary extinction or some other dire event that will irrevocably bring about society's collapse. As for who created this plague, it could be anyone, especially if they're smart enough to have the plague's attributes changed on a whim to combat the world's efforts for a cure.
    • Neurax Worms, Necroa Viruses, and the Shadow Plague are the three unusual viruses featured in the kit. The Neurax Worm can be implanted inside someone's brain to impose mind control onto its victims, the Necroa Virus can cause a zombie apocalypse under the right conditions, and the Shadow Plague is a disease that can turn its victims into vampires.
  • It didn't take long for word of the kit to reach the various doctors and medics throughout the Pantheon. Not only have they spent plenty of time studying the individual viruses, they have also studied the kit's capabilities overall to get a better idea of what it's capable of and how to bypass its adaptive abilities of it in order to create more effective cures for the viruses it causes. On the other hand, this meant that deities wanting to spread plagues such as Nurgle have also taken note of the kit and have studied it extensively to see how useful it is in their schemes.
  • Besides the aforementioned regular and fantastical viruses included in this kit, Simian Flu is also compatible with this kit. With the correct set-up, that virus could give rise to a society full of intelligent apes whilst human society crumbles. Most of the deified primates don't want anything to do with this, though Koba is more than curious about a modified Simian Flu that can cause humanity's collapse and is willing to steal it to try and spread it. Some of the other viruses have also got Koba's attention, though the Simian Flu strain is something that's mainly on his mind when it comes to the kit.
  • Osmosis Jones was frightened after learning about this kit and what it's capable of. It's one thing to fight threats such as Thrax, but the fact that the kit is capable of viruses that can change its capabilities on a whim has concerned Ozzy and many other healers since it meant that even if a cure is developed to combat the viruses from that kit, then it can adapt to render that cure useless. Ozzy is also worried about fighting what can be borne from that kit, imagining the threat to be something even worse than Thrax.
    • Thrax himself has taken interest in the kit and the adaptability of these viruses. While he can kill anything with a single touch of his left index finger, he's taking notes about how the virus can adapt to render it immune to potential cures and is hoping that he can get some of these adaptive abilities if it means getting closer to fame. He's also wondering if sentient versions of these viruses appear inside the body so that he can potentially talk to them.
  • Various villains specializing in mind control have taken notes on the properties of the Neurax Worms. They've even expressed interest in having some samples to better understand them and how to improve mind control functions, both for the worms and for their own plans. Unsurprisingly, this didn't sit well with mind control victims and they are willing to work with others and offer advice in erradicating this particular virus.
  • Albert Wesker immediately wanted to get his hands on his kit so that he can get closer to his goals. Given that it's locked away tightly in the Pantheonic vaults, he's more than content to make plans that will end with him getting the kit for the time being. He's more than wondering if he can use the kit's adaptive capabilities and apply to other viruses such as the T-Virus. He is highly intrigued about the Necroa virus and has wondered if he can use it to create more undead monstrosities.
  • The Enclave heard about the kit from others and consider it as a potential asset in fighting for their America, especially if it means exterminating anything they deem inhuman. While The FEV already has a couple of lethal variant that can kill its victims, there's already some discussion amongst scientists on how more dangerous the FEV will be should it gain the abilities that the kit's viruses have.
  • Arguably the only instance of the kit being used for something that doesn't involve causing the collapse of society was using some Neurax Worms (specifically dubbed "Santa's Little Helper" during that time) during a tyrannical regime that outlawed happiness and anything that's constitued as "fun". Many deified tyrants have taken umbridge with how those worms could disrupt their rule and inspire a potential rebellion against their regime. In fairness, given the Neurax Worm's mind control properties, it's possible to use the Neurax Worms to force someone to accept a tyrant's reign.
  • Setting aside the fact that it's possible to give a deadly world-ending virus a stupid name, it's more than possible to recreate several infamous events such as The Black Death as a result of the kit's versatility. With enough custom tinkering, it's even possible to create something similar to The Sleeper's effects or even replicate The Thing's capabilities. The Thing somehow gaining access to the kit and obtaining it's adaptive capabilities is a nightmare-inducing scenario for many.

Gigan, God of Arm-Blades (Borodan, Savini, Geigan, Galien, Monster Zero)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/godzillajp___gigan_2004.jpg
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A sihoullete of himself
  • Theme Music: Godzilla vs. Gigan Main Title; Gigan Awakens (Final Wars); His theme from Godzilla: Unleashed
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Cyber Cyclops, Smugness, Dirty Coward, Ax-Crazy, Spikes of Villainy, Retreating if Necessary, Sadist, Aliens Are Bastards, Psycho for Hire, Hook Hands (can be upgraded with Chainsaws)
  • Domains: Cyclops, Spikes, Cowardice, Villainy, Weaponry
  • Allies: King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla (Showa), Hedorah, SpaceGodzilla, Black Doom, Ragyo Kiryuin, Infinite
  • Enemies: Godzilla, Mothra Leo, Rodan, Tyranitar, Anguirus, Baragon, Aang, Korra, Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori, The Monsters (Monsters vs. Aliens), The Ascended Ultramen
  • Aliens are among Godzilla's most frequent and vile foes and Gigan is just one of those abhorrent alien adversaries the King of Monsters has fought against multiple times. Gigan has worked with a multitude of aliens such as King Ghidorah and Megalon and while he is very vicious and insane, he tends to bail out of battle whenever things aren't going on his favor. Gigan's arms are metal hooks or scythe blades, befitting how much of a psycho he is and these arms can potentially be upgraded to a chainsaw-like weapon.
  • The Pantheon would go through yet another alien invasion, though whereas many other invasions of that kind involved large numbers, this one had much fewer aliens involved, but it did feature a larger threat, both figuratively and literally. One of these aliens is a cyborg alien cyclops, identified as Gigan and that alien threat went out of his way to cause as much mayhem and damage as possible, even compared to the threat that brought him to Pantheon grounds. Many deities, including Raleigh Beckett & Mako Mori in the Gypsy Danger, were brought in to stop Gigan and the other aliens from damaging the Pantheon further, with Godzilla intervening later on and destroying Gigan. It wasn't the last of this alien cyborg menace as he was rebuilt by some villainous scientists following the attack. Gigan has continued his multitude of attacks on the Pantheon, be it be himself or with other malicious aliens.
  • Gigan is already familiar with working with Ghidorah when it comes to fighting Godzilla and anything else in their path, but the alien cyborg found out about a few other foes the King of the Monsters has fought. Although Gigan doesn't work with these other kaiju menaces to the same extent as that of Ghidorah, he's sometimes joined them in order to fulfill his desire for murder. Of them, he's taken a liking to Spacegodzilla and the Showa Mechagodzilla due to them sharing a similar sense of brutality.
    • He would also end up getting into numerous fights with other kaiju that have allied themselves with Godzilla. Of them, Gigan has a bit of a stronger animosity towards Mothra Leo as even if he never fought against this particular Mothra. It doesn't help that two-on-two battles where Godzilla and Mothra Leo team up to fight Ghidorah and Gigan almost always never end well for Gigan despite Ghidorah putting up a good fight against the pair.
  • While there are two different appearances that Gigan takes on, it doesn't change his dangerous and sadistic demeanor. His Showa form is simply two metal hooks for arms, but his Millennium variant has two scythe blades for arms that later got upgraded chainsaw-like arms. The latter form is also capable of firing lasers from his eyes, something that the Showa form can't do despite some thinking that this version can also do such a thing. Making things more complicated was that there was one instance where Gigan was upgraded from his Showa appearance to his Millennium form, causing some speculation that his appearance changes depending on the scenario and what Gigan wants from whoever he's working for.
    • This has led to a bit of discussion as to whether or not Gigan is capable of having additional upgrades beyond what has already been applied to him. What Gigan has by default is troubling enough, though given the various other kinds of blades in the Pantheon, there's a possibility that Gigan could be modified to use those blades in his arsenal. Much of the work in determining whether or not it can be doable has been done by evil scientists and technicians.
  • More than a handful of malicious aliens have made it their goal to conquer the Pantheon and have looked at other aliens to see if they would be of any use to them. Black Doom was among those who admired Gigan's behavior and offered to let the kaiju work for him part-time, similar to how he was able to get Ghidorah to work for him as well. Gigan was more than happy to oblige and while Gigan's tendencies to bail out whenever things aren't going well for him annoyed Black Doom, the leader of the Black Arms is otherwise pleased with how well Gigan's performance.
    • It's not just Black Doom that Gigan has decided to work with; Gigan has also lent his power to other dangerous aliens looking to conquer the Pantheon by any means necessary. It's even extended to humans such as Ragyo Kiryuin who have sided with alien invaders as a means to their end. That said, there are a few evil aliens (mainly the ones that aren't as quite as threatening in comparison) that aren't too keen on working with a sadistic cyborg alien monster.
  • Gigan decided to go along with Ghidorah in wreaking havoc throughout the Spirit World. The attempt was thwarted by Aang and Korra before the damage got too severe, but it turned out the GUAE was using the two kaiju as a distraction in order for other members of the GUAE to get Spirit Vines from there. Gigan and Ghidorah have also done additional work for the organization, mainly to cause rampages as a distraction for other heroes whilst villains working for GUAE get their hands on something essential.
    • While Ghidorah is involved with a number of the GUAD's schemes, Gigan isn't but he's far from opposed to the idea of destroying everything in his path. Gigan has joined Ghidorah sometimes whenever the latter is on assignment from the GUAD, though Gigan is more inclined to get involved with other evil aliens whenever they want someone to cause as much damage as possible to further a goal of theirs.
  • Infinite, already a psychotic freelance murderer who was willing to work with Ghidorah if it meant destroying other worlds, encountered Gigan while going out with Ghidorah on an assignment. Infinite had already set aside his arrogance to work with Ghidorah and the same actually held true after he witnessed Gigan's cruelty and disregard for anything in his way. The only problem Infinite has with Gigan is not the presumed power gap between them, but how Gigan sometimes leaves battle if things aren't going well for him, prompting the jackal to try and finish whatever damage Gigan has caused until Infinite himself ends up on the cusp of defeat.
  • Susan Murphy and her monster friends have been used to fighting alien threats before, but after witnessing Godzilla in action, they've learned about aliens bigger and nastier than what they've encountered. Gigan is among those dangerous aliens that Susan learned about and she and her team had the misfortune to encounter him during a mission. Luckily, they were saved by Godzilla, who engaged Gigan in a brutal duel and defeated him. After that mission, Susan and co. learned that Gigan was willing to work with a whole plethora of other evil aliens if it means satiating his demented bloodlust. Susan and her team were told to be careful of him and that they would receive help if Gigan were to confront them again.
  • The ascended Ultramen would learn about Gigan while Shin Hayata was on duty looking for giant threats that SHOCKER might be sending out. The original Ultraman encountered Gigan and originally thought that it was involved with the organization, but it wasn't the case as he later found out. The two engaged in a hard-fought battle that had Ultraman barely win as a result of Gigan retreating towards the end. Shin told the other ascended Ultramen about what happened and that there are many more dangerous aliens like Gigan to watch out for.
  • A few deities were surprised when they found records of Gigan actually helping Godzilla with confronting a specific threat after antagonizing him for a while. Of course, those who are aware of this (and to be fair, the ones that have gone through the notes and know about Gigan's true nature are confused by it more than others) know better than to bring it up directly to Gigan, as they would rather not get decimated by a deranged alien monster.

90's Dude, God of Drop-In Characters (formerly 90's kid. Real name: Evelyn)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/90s_kid.jpg
  • Votes: 3(louisent31, The Wikia Editor, fasoman1996)
  • Date of ascension: 24 April
  • House: Character Actions (House of Characterization)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His t-shirt acronym of wysiwygnote
  • Theme Song: Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Fanboy of the The Dark Age Of Comic Books and The '90s, Totally Radical, Extremely Excitable, Loves The 90s Because They Were Fun, Hidden Depths, Drop-In Character, Actually A Technical Savant, Idolizes Rob Liefeld, No Indoor Voice, Disco Dan, Embarassing First Name
  • Domains: The 90s, Slang, Excitement, Guns and Blood, Extroverted Personalities, Pop-Ups
  • Fanboy of: Again, The 90s, most characters that showed up in the Sega Genesis and comic book characters from the 1990s, the House of Firearms
  • Allies: Linkara, Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Spawn, Philip J Fry, Ash Ketchum, Blue Oak, The Venom Symbiote, Eddie Brock, Wander(Wander Over Yonder)
  • On speaking terms with: Ash Crimson and Lance Bishop
  • Enemies: MISSINGNO/THE ENTITY, Lord Vyce, Griffith, Emperor Ganishka, Ayana Sakanagi
  • Annoys: Guts (despite/because he's a fanboy of them), Alan Moore
  • Linkara is wont to riff on the 90s in comic books. The edginess, the attempts at being "extreme" and general ridiculousness. And when something ridiculous like that shows up, expect 90's Dude(originally 90's Kid) to pop up and explain in his own way about it. Though a gag, he has evolved into a more well-rounded character than you'd expect.
  • Obsesses over the 90s, he was upset to learn that Rob Liefeld, who he practically worships, wasn't in the pantheon. The House of Time And Space has questioned his credentials as an actual 90's kid, given if he really is a teengar he shouldn't have grown up in the 90's. Some think he was sent through a time vortex, others think he's just a Manchild.
  • Meeting Deadpool, he initially wanted a means of contacting Rob Liefeld as he was the one who created Deadpool. Linkara scoffed at this, believing Liefeld's Deadpool was an Early-Installment Weirdness In Name Only and that Liefeld didn't make him the merc with a mouth. Deadpool didn't know or care for contacting Liefeld, but his humor is still something 90's Dude enjoyed.
  • Was overjoyed to learn so many characters from The Dark Age Of Comic Books and characters that showed up in the Sega Genesis were in the pantheon. 90's Dude loves him some Darker and Edgier stories, being that he's a knock on the Dork Age of comics that Linkara sees a lot of the 90's as. Immediately fanboyed over Venom and Spawn, due to their iconic role.
  • It wasn't long until he annoyed Guts and Shadow the Hedgehog. While Guts did pioneer many '90s Anti-Hero tropes(in 1989), he's a much more subtle one and more complicated than 90's Dude gives him credit. He also annoys Alan Moore because he completely misses the point in his darker stories and Moore doesn't like him thinking he should take "credit" for the Darker and Edgier state of comics afterwards.
  • Though he loves edginess, he drew the line at Superboy-Prime killing a pregnant woman. He didn't care for Emperor Ganishka feeding pregnant women to crocodiles and mutating their fetuses to make monsters, or Griffith raping Casca and corrupting the fetus. And he was definitely in the "fuck Swim Swim" camp because she killed a pregnant woman.
  • Was impersonated by the Entity, aka Missingno. 90's Dude has had a recurring issue with being mistaken for turning traitor, since he was later working with Lord Vyce in an Enemy Mine situation since the Entity was Not Quite Dead. While Vyce would die a villain and turn on him, he is sad that it turned out that way. Due to being mistaken for treachery and impersonated by villains, he can relate to Ash Crimson and Lance Bishop.
  • Perhaps it's because of Missingno/the Entity, or perhaps it's because of his fandom towards the 90's, but he has sided with Ash along with Blue. He considers Blue's Jerkass days as what made him an effective rival in the games, and tends to refer to him as Gary more often. He gets along with Philip J Fry since he was like him, a slacker from the 1990s.
  • Is attempting to get his Bloodgun fan comics published, and make "the Bloodgun of Bloodgun" an object in Treasures. It hasn't gone anywhere. 90's Dude is content idolizing the various weapons and their holders in the House of Firearms.
  • He's actually pretty good at maintenance, and isn't as stupid as he seems. He likes the 90's because he felt it was fun, and the good parts specifically. Some part of him is well aware of the "so bad it's good" nature of the edginess he enjoys, but doesn't care as he's a For Happiness kind of guy. Which is probably why he supports Wander and his goals.

Margaret, Goddess of Dark Retcons (The Magic Gun)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/magic_gun_6.jpg
The Magic Gun held by Linkara
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/margaret1.png
Margaret
  • Votes: 3(louisent31, The Wikia Editor, fasoman1996)
  • Date of ascension: 24 April
  • House: Reveals and Twists (House of Narrative)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her current form, the Magic Gun
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Dark And Surprising Walking Spoiler (used to parody A Wizard Did It), Human Sacrifice By Her Own Parents Who Destroyed Them With Her Newfound Power, Spirit Advisor, Powered By A Girl's Soul, Not-So-Imaginary Friend
  • Domains: Magic, Guns, Sacrifice, Dark Rituals, Compassion
  • Allies: Linkara, The Heroic Protectors of Family, Leah, N, Satsuki Kiryuin, Sweet P, the Silent Hill protagonists, The Elric brothers, Casper, Seras Victoria
  • On speaking terms with: The Marionette, Altera
  • Enemies: Missingno/The Entity , Lord Vyce, The Child Abuse Supporters, Ragyo Kiryuin, Adrian, Diablo, Ghetsis Harmonia, Shou Tucker, Lord Tirek, The Incubators
  • Sympathy for the Devil for: Alma Wade
  • Wary of: The House of Otherness Abominations, The SCP Foundation
  • One of Linkara's most valued commodities is the Magic Gun. When asked how it works, he says "it's magic, I don't have to explain it" as a slight against Joe Quesada handwaving issues. In truth, it(or rather, she) was a child of cultists of the Entity, who tortured and killed her to forge her into a weapon. She used this newfound power to get back at her tormentors. Her name is Margaret.
  • Popped up missing from Linkara, in the House of Weapons. There she met Seras Victoria, who had her own tragic background(though involving her parents' suffering rather than them causing it) and love of guns, and who figured there was some intelligence within the gun. Margret found herself relating to Altera, being a Living Weapon.
  • Can manifest as a ghost, however only Linkara can see her. Despite the bloody ritual that made her the Magic Gun she has an optimistic outlook. The hate and pain of the experience manifested as Dolorem, who Mechkara used to gaslight Linkara into thinking he was the monster of her father, almost killing himself over it. Very much unlike Alma Wade, who remains consumed in her rage. She doesn't agree with her, but she can easily sympathize.
  • She is friendly with Casper as they are essentially ghosts of kids, but nice ones. She also likes to play with Sweet P. Sweet P is the reborn version of an entity arguably worse than the Entity, but wants to be a good boy. The Marionette, being a murdered child reborn, also relates to her. While Margaret appreciates this, she feels her methods are too much.
  • Her origin was something out of Silent Hill, with the cult leader Whately being involved. The protagonists of the Silent Hill series pity her condition. The SCP Foundation was more cold, as they initially wanted her to be contained as an SCP, however decided that it's best with Linkara. She doesn't like them, though. She also doesn't like the Abominations sub-house, mainly because of what the Entity is like and while they may not be interested in her, she fears their cultists are.
  • Because of how she became the Magic Gun, Margaret has nothing but contempt for the Child Abuse Supporters and those who would weaponize their offspring. She was horrified to learn of Shou Tucker due to how he turned his daughter into a chimeric abomination for a research grant. Linkara is all too happy to honor her wishes to blast him. The Elric brothers are working to make her current existence more comfortable.
  • Ghetsis is also on her hit list as much like how she was born only for her parents to later sacrifice, Ghetsis only adopted N to later use for his ambitions of power and planned to dispose of later. Or Ragyo Kiryuin for her atrocious treatment of her daughter/s. But Adrian is particularly high on her hit list since she raised her daughter as a host for ultimate evil, which hits home.
  • To prevent further abuse, she has sided with the Heroic Protectors of Family. Because of the situation with her own monstrous parents, she can easily relate to Leah, N and Satsuki Kiryuin. Margaret can be found in the House of Magic studying, and conversing on the different fields of magic. Naturally, she stays away from Lord Tirek. It's been discovered that she's holding back a lot of power, but mainly to make sure Linkara remains on the good side and stopped working at the time where he was about to turn evil. Now that he's more heroic, she can be expected to do more.

I have 3[tup] thus far!

Leonardo Watch, Divine Wielder of True Sight (Leo, Tortoise Knight)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leonardo_9.png
note
  • Rank: Demigod (though with the vision of at least a Greater God)
  • Symbol: His All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods
  • Theme Song: Tortoise Knight, though Hello,World! also works. Alternately, most well-known for Haikyuu!!
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Determinator, The Everyman, True Sight, I Know Your True Name, Cowardly Lion, Camera Fiend, Big Brother Instinct, Eyes Always Shut, Non-Action Guy, Living MacGuffin, Distressed Dude
  • Domains: Divine Sight, Photography, Siblings
  • Herald: His pet Mach Monkey, Sonic
  • Allies: Peter Parker/Spider Man, Dipper and Mabel Pines, Agents Scully and Mulder, Shawn Spencer, Scott Pilgrim, Kamina and Simon, Madoka Kaname, all good older siblings, really most Good-aligned heroes, The SCP Foundation, The Men In Black
  • Enemies: Bill Cipher, Dimentio, The Anti-Spiral, Mard Geer, really just evil individuals in general
  • Odd Friendship: Uatu The Watcher, Shinji Ikari, Lanaya
  • Opposes: The Global Occult Coalition
  • Wary of: Hermaeus Mora
  • The relative quiet of the Pantheon was interrupted with the sounds of several far-off explosions and out into the Main House arrived a slighly singed but unharmed young man. Initially unremarkable, he gathered everyone's attentions when he opened his eyes, reveal strange electric blue orbs, and he was able to point out several massive things about the place. After calming down, he would introduce himself as Leonardo Watch and it would be revealed his eyes are actually the All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods, capable of being able to see the true nature of things. Given how his series is defined by him observing everything and seeing the truth of things, Leonardo Watch became the Divine Wielder of True Sight.
  • He has a complicated view of his eyes. He got them during a visit to the city with his family. Time stopped and a powerful entity offered these Eyes of the Gods to either of them, with the stiupulation the other would be blind. Micheala, his wheelchair bound sister, offered her eyes. Thus, she was blinded and Leo was left with his godly eyes, an incredible amount of guilt, and a determination to try and find someone to heal his sister.
  • After getting over the shock of the Pantheon, he grew quite used to it. However, what intrigued everyone was on the how and why. Three years prior to the start of his story, New York City became fused with that of an alternate reality, resulting in the merging of human and alien lifeforms. Combine this with the presence of werewolf and vampire-like entities drawn like moths to a bonfire to the massive chaos and the result was Hellsalem's Lot, a massive city of weird phenomenon that people have gotten used to, on the inside.
  • His Temple is pretty modest, resembling his apartment room though he is grateful that he does not have to worry about damages, at least not as much.
  • His miraculous eyes being able to see anything quickly made him the target for alot of malevolent or amoral parties, especially given how normal he is otherwise. However, he would qickly come to befriend Spider-Man, who helped save him. Given how Spidey is also a misfortunate young man given great powers that come with great responsability and haunted by regrets alongside with viewing New York as home, they bonded quickly. Peter's also one of the few Leo openly trusts to examine his eyes.
  • He would come to befriend others, such as the Pines Twins, who are able to empathize with him over living in a wonderful town of weird. Mabel thinks his eyes are amazing while Dipper also thinks his gift to see is nifty. They also respect the heck out of him for his devotion to his younger sister as well as both wondering what could've happened had the entity offered something like that to them, especially with the rammification of being blind.
    • Unsurprisingly, this led to Leo once protecting them from Bill Cipher, who was stalking them. This quickly earned an enmity between the two. Bill dismisses Leo for the most part, but finds his eyes pretty interesting, though he finds him boring. Leo meanwhile sees him much like the Femt back at his homeworld as a hackeyed nut who kicks people around for jokes. Leo's experiences means he cannot be tricked by Bill and he can see him whenever he possesses someone or even when just in the Dreamscape.
  • Having gotten close to the Grand United Alliance of Good, he was able to befriend more good people. Investigators with interests in the supernatural like Agents Mulder and Scully have been helping him and relying on his eyes. Shawn Spencer in particular is impressed by Leo and has been helping him in better using his eyes to analyze things. They also tend to have lunch together alot.
  • Looking to find something to replace his X-Station, he would go into the House of Gaming and he would end up befriending Scott Pilgrim of all people. Both of them are seemingly unimpressive people with remarkable capabiltiies, a shared interest in gaming, living in modest conditions, confronting feelings of cowardice and of course, living in pretty messed up worlds. Scott helps serve to protect Leo while asking questions about his eyes.
  • Leonardo earned the respect of Kamina and Simon when they saw him save the world in the final episode of the first season of his show. Leonardo quoted his boss, Klaus, regarding on unbreakability of the human spirit as long as you try and move toward the light. The fact he screamed this out in the open in a display of hot-bloodedness moved them and became fast friends. Leo is meanwhile in awe of Simon and Kamina and hopes they could somehow help heal his sister. Kamina welcomes the challenge in defying fate, which extended to divine contracts and considers bringing Shiron into this.
    • Through Simon, Leo has also befriended Shinji. Leo sees much of himself in Shinji in terms of lack of confidence and having repressed rage, though he also has plenty of concern over just what the kid went through. Shinji meanwhile is awed by how Leo can keep moving forward even if frozen in place. This combined with how relatable he found Leo began giving Shinji more courage.
    • Aditionally, he also met Madoka through Simon and both bonded over being Hope bringers while he came to see her as another little sistet of sorts. As such, he promises to help her however he could. Even if she were to ascend beyond existence, he would still see her through his eyes.
  • Given how valuable his eyes would be in law enforcement and investigation, it would be little surprise that various agencies approached Leo to have him ally with them and to serve as correspondent to Libra should they ever ascend. Leo is pretty wary around the Men in Black and especially the SCP, but he still helps them out. He prefers the SCP over the Global Occult Coalition, who he finds would be the same sort of untrustworthy people who would attack Hellsalem's Lot without consideration for the non-humans there.
    • This has led to Leo to getting a confrontation with a certain individual, Dr. Alto Clef. After Clef nearly broke Leo's camera (it was saved at the last minute by Sonic's quickness), he tried to antagonize the kid a little regarding his eyes. However, both were surprised as Leo's eyes were in fact, capable of looking past Clef's head trick and actually get a glimpse of him. However, the intensity began hurting Leo's eyes. Clef meanwhile was stymied someone was able to actually see his true form and has been wary of the kid whenever he aids the SPC.
  • Besides Bill Cipher, Leo has butted heads (often literally, given how it's a reoccuring tactic of his) with Dimentio (who he sees as a worse version of someone like Bill Cipher or Femt), the Anti-Spiral (they remind him too much of the King of Despair with their nihilism and willingness to use peoples' loved ones) and Mard Geer (who cannot believe a normal human got a godlike gift and that his eyes allow Leo to see his weakness and even more or less counter Memento Mori since Leo can act as a tether of sorts because Mard Geer's Curse could not overcome the divine craftsmanship of the Eyes.)
  • Hermaeus Mora has expressed interest in Leo'e eyes, but Leo is just reminded of the crazy doctor who kidnapped him and threatened his sister for his eyes. As such, he stays as far as he can from him, using his eyes to do so. Mora just finds it interesting and has tried to tempt Leo with knowledge that could help his sister. Leo has not listened, but Mora thinks it's fated that the young man will come to him.
  • With the revelation that his eyes were bestowed on him because the God in question, Liga El Metahiut, chose him to see and record the events of humanity's interaction with the extradimentional. It turns out Leo is the latest in a long line of people offered the Eyes of the Gods to examine world-changing evenets, such as the rise and fall of Hitler or humanity arriving on the moon. to Metahiut, humanity's interaction with the extradimensional was the pinnacle of Earth history and Leo was the one chosen. As such, Uatu the Watcher feels a kinship regarding their shared roles and talks to him on occasion. Uatu does wish he could affect things, even in small things, the way Leo does.
  • Despite being friends with pretty powerful people, it's still pretty stressful on how Leo has been the target of attacks. As such, he ended up hiring a bodyguard of sorts... Lanaya of all people. Her unbridled thirst for mysteries and truths meant she was giddy at the thought of Leo's All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods As such, he was willing to accompany her on her searches while she acts as a bodyguard to him. They ended up striking up an Odd Friendship.
  • Beyond his job as being an agent of Libra, his other job is that of a photographer so he often spends time taking pictures of the various people of the Pantheon. As such, he spents alot of time in the House of Crafts working on his photos and interracting with his fellow artists. Some of the folk there do admire his eyes, especially given how the eyes are literally divine craftsmanship.
  • The end credits of his show's first season is very popular to say the least. So much that inspired a lot of members of the Pantheon decided to give it a try.

@ louisent, r-lock: [tup]

@ faso: Noob straight up admits Sub-Zero would be a better Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei than her in one of their banter intros. But outside of that perhaps an interaction with Tenjian? Cassie calling her Elsa reminded me that he is based off the fairytale of the Ice Queen which by extension makes him based off of Elsa, though he stays true to the source material by being cold-hearted and evil. Tenjian is arrogant, though at least is capable of showing his respect to his fellow Adepts and those whom he deems strong.

And speaking of abilities I wonder what Frost has to think about Tenjian's powers since he has some serious range behind them if he's able to freeze over an entire city.

@ WikiaEditor: The Flagellant may be a subject of mixed feelings. The man is part of a extremist branch of his faith if his unnerving obsession with martyrdom and pain wasn't that much of a dead giveaway already, even if he isn't actually evil while the monsters he slays definitely are. The Flagellant, however, sees James in a more positive light for his mission to retrieve the forbidden documents and his sacrifice to stop the resurrected Elaine.

@ mvs: Madagascar applies to Plague Inc's predecessor. Even then, the special viruses (and potentially the fungus) tend to have ways to circumvent the trip to Greenland.

@Crownless Are any of those two that you mentioned the hacker of the group? Because Frost is a bit susceptible to those.

Man i did not expect that many suggestion for Elsa. Guess i'll have to polish Frosty some more.
