Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Due to recent Youtube drama, Faso brought up we should drop h3 from the Pantheon since they dont due the trope they have any longer. Plus, Ethan has especially gotten very political through his social media, so I think it would be safer to drop them.

Like, I get Youtubers get into drama eventually. You can say that for every real-life figure here but Ethan really doesnt know when to stop getting on some people’s back without really being aware of it. Poor Hila though, she never deserved this (still happy for their marriage btw)

Also, speaking of Youtubers, why does this site feel like everyone from That Guy with the Glasses were the progenitors of internet content? It’s a weird pattern that I’ve noticed.

@YouTube - I'd need to make a drinking game whenever there's a YouTuber that's not political in any way. Speaking of which, I'm kind of lucky I got Cimorelli to be approved. As far as I know, I haven't seen anything political that they've done.

AjWargo - [tup] for stealing my Grimgor Ironhide nomination and your reasoning.

Anyway, I'm just simply asking for suggestions and/or approvals Punky and Rafe, mainly because at this point, reposting them is a chore and I can't repost Rafe anyway.

[up][up] You brought Pewdiepie in here so you should be aware that youtubers are bound to be hot topics depending on the content they do.

I admit H 3 H 3 was the only youtuber profile that became way too controversial to keep around. Most of my other ascensions have been mostly drama free.

Btw, Pyrocynical doesn't bully children anymore and he won't make petscop 2. Permission to delete? /s

@Crimson: [tup] for both.

First draft for Solaris.

It has two components, a manipulative sadist and a destructive lava monster, was experimented on resulting in said components, and basically wants to destroy everything. Looking for suggestions on what to add for interactions.

Solaris, Unholy Entity of Ret-Gone

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/solaris_form1.png
Solaris' first form
Solaris' second form

Mephiles the Dark
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iblis_9.png
Iblis
  • Overdeity (Mephiles by himself is Lesser God and Iblis by itself is Greater God)
  • Symbol:
  • Theme Music:
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Spacetime Eater, Ax-Crazy, Physical God
  • Domains: Destruction, Time
  • High Priest: The Nebiru Entity
  • Allies: Majin Buu
  • Rival: Zamasu
  • Enemies: Most Sonicverse deities (especially Sonic, Shadow, and Silver), Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Whis
  • Interested in: The Time Eater
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Infinite
  • In the distant locale of Soleanna, there exists a god of light and time who the citizens of that place worship known as Solaris. Experimentation of Solaris by the Duke of Soleanna resulted in it being split into two components: the cunning sociopath Mephiles the Dark and destructive lava monster Iblis. After a long, drawn-out plan by Mephiles that ends with him killing Sonic, Mephiles merged with Iblis, becoming Solaris once more and ready to destroy entire dimensions and timelines. It’s only the efforts of Shadow, Silver, and a revived Sonic, that Solaris is defeated and Princess Elise blowing out the Flames of Disaster ensured that Solaris and anything associated with it is erased from existence and everyone’s memories entirely.
  • As life continued in the Pantheon, reports of a god known as Solaris circulated throughout the place, though many weren’t able to find it directly. However, its components, Mephiles the Dark and Iblis, were present, both far from each other and the former looking for someone dumb enough to fall for his plans and the latter turning everything in its path into a firey wasteland. Sonic and his friends realized to their shock that Solaris had come back despite seemingly being erased from their world and by the time they reached Mephiles, it was too late and he merged with Iblis once more to become Solaris in an attempt to destroy the Pantheon and everything in it. With the power of the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic, Shadow, and Silver powered themselves up and defeated Solaris once more. While the Pantheon was restored and the memory of that destruction wiped from the minds of many, that memory didn’t leave Sonic and his friends, who are already ensuring that another event like that doesn’t happen again.
  • Some have drawn similarities between Solaris and The Time Eater, by virtue of them being capable of eating entire dimensions and posing a major threat to the space-time continuum. The fact that Eggman played a significant role in making the latter who it is wasn’t lost on Mephiles, especially after learning that Sonic somehow ended up in a Bad Future very similar to the one that was ravaged by Iblis despite having no apparent memory of those instances prior. A few entities even claimed that The Time Eater contains some remnants of Solaris, but nothing has been proven thus far. Mephiles has some fascination with The Time Eater and has considered trying to make it independent from Eggman in order to use it for his own schemes.
  • Mephiles and Infinite are similar in a way thanks to having been defeated by Shadow in the past and later coming back to enact destructive revenge. Whereas Mephiles was able to succeed in (at least temporarily) causing the end of the world thanks to killing Sonic even if his initial plan ended up being rather convoluted, Infinite was so caught up in his own pride and sadism that his actions ultimately resulted in Sonic living and his and Eggman’s plan to fall apart. It became clear that Infinite hates being reminded of his failures by Mephiles and that even if they’re working together to destroy Sonic and his allies, Infinite wants to be the one to defeat them no matter how complicated Mephiles’ plans may be. Of course, if Infinite does end up messing up a plan of Mephiles in some way, Mephiles will just find another way to enact revenge, regardless of whether or not he needs Infinite for it.
  • One deity that was fascinated with Solaris and its extreme power was Majin Buu. He was out to destroy multiple worlds just to satiate his bloodlust and was eager to meet Mephiles after learning of how the latter sought total destruction for similar reasons. Zamasu, an omnicidal god made up of equally dangerous components, noticed that Solaris had a similarly destructive angle and sought him out hoping to find someone who can support Zamasu’s cause. Unfortunately, by the time he reached him, Zamasu saw that both Mephiles and Buu had befriended each other, further enraging Zamasu who went on a tangent on how entities like the two should be destroyed, even if Mephiles was a component of a god. Mephiles retorted that for all of Zamasu’s bravado, power, and ambitions, there will always be someone who will defy him and that such a goal can’t be achieved with those obstacles. By that point, Zamasu had lost it again and Buu engaged in a violent battle with him that nearly resulted in another catastrophe by the time it settled. Worse yet, Mephiles had already left by the time the battle was over, thinking to himself how Zamasu’s personal hate of specific entities would get in the way of total destruction.
    • Beerus and Whis ended up witnessing the fatal confrontation between Buu and Zamasu, with Whis playing a role in stopping Zamasu and Beerus taking care of Buu. The two then told Goku and Vegeta of what happened and everything about Solaris and its components. The idea of someone with components similar to what Zamasu has, combined with the sheer destruction that Majin Buu wants to engage in, was something that Goku and Vegeta couldn’t ignore. While Mephiles and Iblis on their own can be defeated by both Goku and Vegeta, should Solaris become whole once more, it’s not only going to require them, but Beerus and Whis’ intervention to prevent another armageddon. Mephiles considers Whis to be a major obstacle in his plans considering the latter’s abilities to rewind time by a few minutes, effectively making whatever progress Mephiles made up to that point null and void.
  • As a lava monster capable of devastating entire landscapes, Iblis and his destructive traits got the attention of many villainous pyromancers. Iblis itself is nothing more than a mindless beast, so it is often treated as a potent attack-dog by the other evil fire-users as a means to quickly lay waste to any specific area they desire. The fact that Iblis can be sealed inside someone’s soul and that he hasn’t shown any attempt whatsoever to take control of them was a bit disappointing for those hoping to possess someone to become an out-of-control monster, but the likes of Ragnaros and Brand are more than welcoming of raw strength to their fiery alliance.

Standard repost of the Steels

Stephen and Lucy Steel, Divine Representatives of Marriages Between Elders and Minors (Steven Steel, Lucy Pendleton)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/steven_steel.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucy_steel.png
  • Votes: 3(The Wikia Editor, fasoman1996, Crimson Shark)
  • Date of ascension: 24 May(repost 21 May)
  • Adopted from: M1gami Tensei
  • Houses: Age and Youth (House of Life and Death), Couples Archetypes (House of Love)
  • Demigods, Lucy is a potential Overdeity with her Stand, Ticket to Ride
  • Symbol: The Steel Ball Run trophy
  • Theme Song: Last Train Home
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Old Man Marrying a Child (actually an Intergenerational Friendship), Ugly Guy, Hot Wife
  • Domains: Marriages, Age, Friendship
    • Stephen: Entrepreneurship, Races
    • Lucy: Probability, Attraction
  • Allies: Johnny Joestar, Gyro Zeppeli, Jonathan Joestar, Erina Pendleton, Robert E. O. Speedwagon, their universe’s Josuke Higashikata, Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne Cujoh, Solid Snake, Madoka Kaname, Roland Deschain, Jesse McCree, Raiden (Metal Gear), The Boss, Theodore Roosevelt, Jade Chan and Tohru
  • Enemies: Funny Valentine, Dio Brando, Enrico Pucci, Steven Armstrong, Roose Bolton, Ramsay Bolton, Randall Flag, rapists, The Enclave
  • Opposes: Diego Brando, Solidus Snake
  • Arriving on horseback, Lucy and Stephen Steel reunited with Johnny and Gyro once they heard Funny Valentine returned in the Pantheon. They’re grateful but Johnny is miffed that he owes both of them a few more debts. They managed to ascend under a rather Squick title much to their chagrin. Once one hears of their backstory though, it becomes more understandable. Stephen met a child Lucy when he was going through a rough patch in his life, to which she gave him the basic rundown of the Steel Ball Run race which got him back on his feet. They met again years later but not in the best circumstances, as Lucy’s father was forced her to be pimped to a gang. Stephen hatched a plan to rescue Lucy, resulting in their marriage. Fortunately unlike some old people, Stephen doesn’t treat Lucy as a wife and the two have a strong platonic relationship with one another.
  • Applies to both of them
    • Were initially confused why there are multiple JoJos and Zeppelis, another Dio, another person who had the surname of Pendleton, and a guy named Speedwagon who looks a bit like Mountain Tim. Johnny explained to them the original JoJo universe, getting them up to speed. Though they wonder why Johnny had to include the part about the dancing gangsters. They get along with the mainline Joestar lineage well enough. They also noted how much Jonathan’s descendants contrasted with him by a mile, something that irks Jonathan until now.
    • The two were pleased to see a number of heroic cowboy deities were in the pantheon, who's convictions and geniality remind them of Mountain Tim. Given the era they come from, fondness for cowboys comes with the territories. They were also glad to learn of Theodore Roosevelt and his achievements as president from 1901-1909. It's not know if T.R exists in the SBR universe or if he becomes president, but he'll certainly try to.
    • Both are uncomfortable around Solidus Snake for being similar to Funny Valentine in some ways. The know he had good reasons for his villainy but those parallels don’t allow them to have a higher opinion on him. They find themselves siding with Solid Snake and Raiden because of it.
    • The idea of Armstrong ever becoming president is a worrying idea for them, regarding his vision for America to be a chaotic counterpart to Valentine's vision. What Randall Flagg did to the part of America he took over was particuarly hellish for them, as was the Enclave who might be even more xenophobic than what Valentine's America would be.
  • Exclusive to Stephen:
    • Stephen Steel is the organizer and host of the Steel Ball Run race, a great horse racing event. He's been interested in the various horse deities in the House of Ungulates. Centaur Man was annoyed that he wasn't allowed to participate since he's not technically riding a horse.
    • Wondered how the Pantheon’s economy works so he went to the House of Commerce to check. There he met Nigel West Dickens, a merchant from the Wild West who showed him the ropes around the place. Stephen knows that Nigel is likely trying to wrap him in some scheme but considering he got wrapped into an incident about a monkey dressed as an alien that destroyed his reputation for awhile, he’s sure he can handle whatever Nigel can cook up.
    • Is a bit miffed that there are still people who still thinks he’s a Dirty Old Man for his wife alone. He shares this with Jon Arryn who did get a wife to have an heir and the two became drinking buddies. At least they aren’t the Boltons. He's pretty creeped out by Walder Frey by, along with generally utterly contemptible and a Slimeball, being a very dirty and very old man who marries young girls. Jade and Tohru were weirded out, but calmed down and got along with the too when realizing their marriage was really an Intergenerational Friendship.
    • Bonded with Foo Fighters over their hairstyles being similar. They really don’t like it when someone makes fun of their hair and call them “eggshells”.
  • Exclusive to Lucy:
    • Lucy gained the Stand, Ticket to Ride once the Holy Corpse absorbed itself into her which practically makes her invincible. As the Holy Corpse is locked up, she doesn’t have access to this power and people whether or not it actually is her Stand or not.
    • Made friends with Haru Okumura, who was going to be married but got out of it. Also made friends with Sakura who Lucy is pretty surprised at how stable she is after all the hardships she went through in life. She and Stephen met Madoka Kaname and Lucy sees Madoka as a little sister she never had. Madoka is surprised that she and Lucy are closer to the same age than it seems.
    • Once got pregnant with the head of Jesus. No, we are not joking. She got better though and can safely say she has experienced a virgin birth. Ned Flanders went into confused panicking at how unorthodox this was to his fundamentalist Christian faith, however he remains friendly to Lucy herself. The House of Faith wants to understand how it works.
    • Still doesn’t like Diego. Sure, the Attempted Rape wasn’t actually from him but a Diego from another reality, he’s still an asshole through and through. Still, neither of them are as bad as the OG Dio Brando. And she hates rapists due to Funny Valentine's Attempted Rape of her.

Reposting Rose.

Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond, Goddess of Absences Which Affect People (Rose, Pink, Starlight)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rosequartz.png
Click here to see her as Pink Diamond.
  • Potential House: Characterization (Subhouse - Character Roles)
  • Presents herself as an Intermediate Goddess, actually a Greater Goddess (as Pink Diamond)
  • Symbol: Her sword and shield.
  • Theme: Rose Quartz’s Theme
  • Alignment: Started out as Chaotic Neutral, became Neutral Good over time (with flashes back to Chaotic Neutral)
  • Portfolio: Lack of Empathy, but not sympathy, Dark and Troubled Past, Breaking the Cycle of Bad Parenting, Nice Girl, Innocently Insensitive, Pink Diamond is Dead, Has numerous psychological issues because of how the Diamonds treated her, The Heart, Death by Childbirth, Two Aliases, One Character
  • Domains: Motherhood, Life, Leadership, Pedestals (Both Broken and Rebuilt)
  • Followers: Rachel Amber, Ellie, Joyce Summers, Della Duck, Lu Ten.
  • Herald: Bismuth, one of the other Crystal Gems (despite their… complicated… relationship).
  • Allies: Greg Universe and Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Connie Maheswaran, Peridot, Izanami-No-Mikoto, Bojack Horseman
  • Complicated Relationship with: Steven Universe
  • Special Relationship with: The other Diamonds
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The Emperor of Mankind
  • Opposes: The Child Abuse Supporters, all Abusive Parents
  • Enemies: The Sleeper
  • Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond is one of the most important characters in her universe, in terms of how she has directly or indirectly influenced nearly every character in the series to some degree - in many cases, how her absence has affected them.
    • The original rebellion against the other Diamonds was started by her and Pearl, and her decision to fake her death when the other Diamonds refused to let her stop the colonization of Earth led to the survival of the human race, the corruption of nearly every other gem on Earth, the start of Era 2, and the Diamonds more or less disintegrating as a family unit.
    • Her decision to fake her death also led partly to the deterioration of Jasper’s mental state, given that Rose was her Diamond. As well as the “Famethyst” being sent to watch over the Human Zoo (though they are in a much better state mentally than Jasper is).
    • Later on, after giving birth to her son Steven, her passing was part of what caused the character arcs of the Crystal Gems in the main storyline, since she was previously their Living Emotional Crutch (a role that her son Steven took up later).
  • Her son Steven has issues with her, to say the least, considering that most of her actions came back to haunt him. While Steven knows that Rose never wanted her mistakes to cause him problems and the fact they did before he even turned 18 was more or less sheer coincidence, her attempts to fix things in the Pantheon or apologize haven’t been able to fix all of Steven’s trauma and issues with her.
  • Was previously the main thing keeping the Diamonds a semi-functional family unit before she faked her death and ran away. She claims to not miss the Diamonds, and has been avoiding them since her first encounter with them in several thousand years, when they ascended to the Pantheon at roughly the same time. They tried to talk to her. Rose's response was loud and (according to other people) expletive-filled.
    • To clear things up - she knows that they are trying to change, and was not opposed to them joining the GUAG's Ministry of Atonement. But eons of abuse at their hands has left her with very little love for them, and not much of a desire to try to mend that relationship on her end. No matter how much the other Diamonds are sorry... in the distant future, she might reconsider. But for the moment, them being sorry is too little, too late.
  • Due to the circumstances of her disappearance when she gave birth to Steven, it wasn't clear at first if she was actually dead or if she continued to exist dormant in his Gem, which was a contested subject that prevented her from ascending to the Pantheon. However, the Diamond Days arc finally concluded through the Pink Steven that emerged from Steven's Gem when White Diamond forcibly extracted it from his body that she was definitely gone for good, and so she was finally cleared as dead and therefore permissible for Pantheon ascension.
  • Is never found in her temple (which looks like her Room in the Beach House on Earth), partly because she prefers to be roaming the Pantheon and partly since she is the goddess of Present Absence.
  • Currently, she wants to spend time with Steven, since she has never had the chance to know him before. She was horrified to learn what had happened after she died, but is not sure how she can make it up to him. However, after some… initial friction… between the two, she is willing to give him his space until he is willing to approach her.
  • Don’t call her Pink Diamond or “My Diamond”. It’s not quite a Berserk Button, but it isn’t a name she wants to use anymore. Comparisons have been made that it’s similar to deadnaming someone who’s Transgender. This particular fact has not helped the attempts of the other Diamonds to bond with her again.
  • The Emperor of Mankind (and thus, the Imperium) have a somewhat… conflicted opinion on her and the Crystal Gems. On one hand, they’re all aliens, but they also saved humanity despite being aliens, and in her case alien royalty. For that, he's willing to give them a pass, and if the Imperium’s alien issues ever boil over the Crystal Gems would likely be spared their wrath. Rose herself, on the other hand, sees the Emperor's treatment of the Primarchs as being far too similar to the Diamond's family relationship - and while he is more sympathetic and understandable than the Diamonds are, the Emperor is in a lot of ways the human version of them. Considering what he is capable of and how he would probably react, she has never voiced this opinion to his face.
    • It should be noted that the Imperium’s opinion on the other Diamonds and Homeworld Gems in general is far clearer. If any of the Homeworld Gems, especially the Diamonds, ever backstabs the Imperium or betrays the GUAG, or gives them any reason to think they have done so, they will be ground to dust beneath humanity’s boots.
  • Heavily opposed to the Child Abuse Supporters due to her own history with the other Diamonds (said history of abuse is also why she avoids them even within the Pantheon despite their attempts to turn over a new leaf).
  • After learning that her sword had been destroyed by Blue Diamond when Connie Maheswaran tried to use it on her, she quickly went to speak with her, and assured her that there was no real grudge on her part. And that if she did have an issue, it was with Blue Diamond, not Connie herself.
    • She also is trying to strike up some sort of friendship with both Connie and Peridot, since they are the newest members of the Crystal Gems in the Pantheon (Lapis is new too, but she is not currently present as a deity).
    • Rose is also trying to forge a bond with Connie, since the two of them share a Subhouse in the Pantheon, in addition to being fellow members of the Crystal Gems. Ironically, Rose's previous actions in her universe have had the least negative effects on Connie directly. Considering that they also had similar problems with their parents in the past (though they both agree that Rose's "parents" were far worse than Connie's), and the young swordswoman has become one of Rose's closest new allies in the Pantheon.
  • While things were awkward at first when she arrived in the Pantheon with the other Crystal Gems, given that they all now knew everything she had been hiding, things are... not going back to the way that they were, but the newly arrived problems between them are being worked out. If nothing else, Pearl and Greg were both overjoyed to have her back without anything happening to Steven.
  • Currently seeing a therapist in the GUAG to help her work through her many psychological problems. Given how long said issues have had to sink in, it's slow going.
    • It should be noted that Rose currently does not seem to be capable of accessing her more destructive abilities, such as the ones used in "Pink Mode" by her son Steven. Some people think this is just due to her own regret at having cracked her first Pearl, "Volleyball", while others theorize it is a mental block she unknowingly placed on herself.
  • Has started developing a friendship with Izanami, originating at first because they both succumbed to Death by Childbirth. However, their lives being similar at several points beyond that started cementing a deeper relationship between them. Izanami herself is trying to get Rose to realize that she has changed over the years and become a better person, like Izanami herself did.
  • While she and Bojack Horseman are very different people, their similarly Dark And Troubled Pasts caused them to bond, considering they both involved Abusive Parents. Their shared self-loathing and issues with relating to other people even though they cared for them have led each to consider the other a kindred spirit of sorts. Albeit, considering said low self-esteem their friendship has had its share of rough patches.
  • The Sleeper brings up… some bad memories, to say the least. The whole “turning everything into gems/crystal” part, and the infant Eldritch Abomination inside the Magic Meteor itself… yeah. Basically a more disturbing version of gem reproduction, essentially.
  • Nobody’s sure what Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth would do to Rose if she ever came into contact with it. Wonder Woman isn’t really in a big hurry to create additional stress for her fellow heroine, and has stated she only plans to use it on Rose with her permission.
  • Rose didn't initially understand the concept of marriage, since she didn't entirely understand human culture (and gem culture not having any equivalent of marriage, and Rose herself not being a legal human citizen). After having it explained to her, both Pearl and Greg have started to approach her on the subject. Whether she plans to marry both of them, just one of them, or neither of them, is not something she has told anyone else yet.

@R-lock Given that Solaris is a god of light, i wonder what would be their opinion on the Light of Destruction, a similarly destructive light being. Probably friends.

@Rose Her true form is gigantic but by diamon standards she is pretty much a Large Runt, wonder if that ever has been a problem for her. In any case, i think she and the Big Friendly Giant could be friends? Unless Rose isn't likely to befriend people after many found out who she really is.

And here is wonder if we can make a connection between Rose and Revan.

Btw, what trope should i choose for Archvile? Enemy Summoner or Mook Medic?

  • Theme Song: March of Justice (Generally), Unknown Territory (As a God of Destruction)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (Briefly True Neutral as a God of Destruction)
  • Portfolio: Leader of the Pride Troopers, Wearing a Primarily Red Uniform, Inspired by Super Sentai, Hero Antagonist, Fat and Fast, Is Adamant about Eliminating Evil, Is Among the Strongest Universe 11 has to Offer, Proclaiming "Justice!" Consttantly in his Attacks, Can be Pragmatic during Battle, Honor Before Reason, Making Very Boisterous and Over-the-Top Postures, Old Superhero, Can Become a God of Destruction despite said Transformation being rather Unrefined
  • Domains: Justice, Leadership, Heroes, Teamwork, Power, Godhood, Destruction
  • Heralds: The Pride Troopers (Dyspo, Kahseral, K'nsi, Cocotte, Vewon, Tupper, Zoire and Kettle)
  • Allies: Jiren, Dr. Tommy Oliver and the Ascended Power Rangers and Super Sentais, Clark Kent/Superman, Orion, Saitama, Statesman, Shin Hayata/Ultraman, Irina Shidou
  • Enemies: Frieza, Zamasu, Cell, Majin Buu, Dark Specter, Lord Drakkon, Evolto, Ultraman Belial, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Mongul, Thanos, The Plutonian
  • On Good Terms With: Son Goku, Vegeta, Zeno, The Z Fighters
  • Opposes: The House of Villains (on principle)
  • When the galaxy is constantly under threat of evil beings, a team of heroes unite to fight against them and uphold the protection of billions of innocents throughout space. This is a job the Pride Troopers of Universe 11 partake in and have developed a rather likeable reputation throughout, even winning the favour of the God of Destruction, Belmod and his Angel, Marcarita. Initially, the two were interested to take one of the Pride Troopers, Jiren under the apprenticeship of becoming a God of Destruction candidate as he was arguably the strongest mortal across the 12 established universes, but he refused. The offer was instead given to the leader, Toppo, who took it upon himself to ensure Universe 11 is protected and secure from any and all harm.
    • Even with his work ethic and dedication, his universe was still ranked among those that were to be destroyed by Zeno... until Goku proposed the idea of a tournament where the 8 selected universes to be destroyed were to battle against one another in an effort to be spared and be granted the Super Dragon Balls. Thus commenced the Tournament of Power, where Toppo did his best to assure the success of his team, personally leading them against the contenders. However, as more and more of his comrades fell until only him, Dyspo and Jiren remained, Toppo became disgruntled and cynical, eventually discarding his stance of "Justice". It culminated when, after seeing only Universes 7 and 11 remaining, Dyspo eliminated and being overwhelmed by a combined effort from Frieza and Android 17, Toppo decided to tap into his God of Destruction powers and dominate Universe 7... until Vegeta showed up and eventually overpowered and knocked him out of the tournament fields. He was erased from existence once Jiren was eliminated and Universe 11 was declared runner-up, though Android 17 decided to wish for the erased universes to be resurrected regardless, with Toppo and the rest of Universe 11 coming back to life. He's currently making sure he's there for Jiren and to lead the Pride Troopers as much as he could.
  • Toppo ascended into the Pantheon after receiving a distress call from an unknown benefactor who told him and the Pride Troopers about dealing with a threat capable of destroying planets. Wasting no time, Toppo lead the Pride Troopers to a planet where they came across Mongul, who was kidnapping innocent civilians in the hopes of having them compete in fighting against one another to the death for his own amusement. The Pride Troopers did battle against Mongul's forces with Toppo himself clashing with the Evil Overlord in a brutal battle. It ended in a stalemate with the Pride Troopers worn out and much of Mongul's army beaten down. Mongul made a getaway, claiming he isn't done, whereas Toppo made as much effort as he could to find and reassure survivors.
    • The Pride Troopers were called upon by the Court of the Gods to testify their actions regarding their battle against Mongul. Toppo stated that he received a distress call, which is how he made his way to the battlefield and did as much as he could to find and save any survivors, provided they weren't killed by Mongul's pillaging army. His words bought him some ounce of respect from the House of Heroes who praised his and the Pride Troopers' efforts. The case ended with Toppo properly ascending into the Pantheon, representing Milking the Giant Cow, much to his chagrin as it's more telling about being over-the-top about his habit of posing and saying justice, in contrast to his work as a hero. He was able to convince the court to keep the Pride Troopers as his heralds, to which the Court decided to allow for, ensuring that Toppo enters a battle with his comrades.

Nowe, God of Unusual Multiple Parentage (Savior, "dragon child", The New Breed)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nowe.png
New Breed
  • Potential House: Family Dynamics
  • Intermediate God, Greater God after his powers as the New Breed
  • Symbol: The Mark on his chest or The New Breed mark
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: And Now for Someone Completely Different, Contrasting Sequel Main Character, The Chosen One, 11th-Hour Superpower, Half-Human Hybrid/Heinz Hybrid, Idiot Hero, The Hero, Knight in Shining Armor/Lord Error-Prone, Likes Older Women, First of a New Species, Naïve Newcomer, Power Gives You Wings, Power Dyes Your Hair, Wide-Eyed Idealist
  • Domains: Unconventional Hybrids, Dragons, Heroes, Power
  • Herald: Manah, Eris, Urick
  • Allies: Son Goku, Natsu Dragneel, Wendy Marvell, Gajeel Redfox, Naruto Uzumaki, Ichigo Kurosaki, Giorno Giovanna, Nier, 2B, 9S, A2, Crossbreed Priscilla, Ophis, Spyro, Ryu, Tiki
  • Enemies: Acnologia, Smaug, Grima
  • Commonality Connection with Nero
  • Conflicting Opinion of: Caim and Angelus
  • Nowe is a young man raised by a dragon named Legna and taken in by the Knights of the Seal by General Oror so that he would learn to be human. Nowe's origin is a very unusal one, having been created as a result of Inuart and Furaie being fused together with Legna's blood, in a way making the three of them his parents. The Knights protected the Seal that Angelus became to prevent the Watchers from appearing in the mortal world and exterminating humanity, yet they grew more ruthless and oppressive in the process. Nowe starts to doubt the morality of the Knights due to the seals requiring human sacrifices. After being poisoned by the Knight's leader Gismor, who is also the murderer of Oror, Nowe escapes with Legna and joins Manah in her quest to destroy the seals and, in her mind, free the people from the Knight's oppression.
    • Throughout his journey, Nowe fights against the Knights guarding the seals, while also crossing paths with Caim, who also wants to destroy the seals to free Angelus from her painful duty. After defeating Gismor and succeeding in their quest however, Nowe and Legna are then forced to put the freed, but now insane Angelus out of her misery, with Caim dying peacefully with her. The world now falls into chaos with the seals destroyed, forcing Nowe and his allies to meet with Legna and Seere, where Nowe learns that he is a New Breed created to aid the dragons in their war against the Watchers. Legna wants to awaken Nowe as the New Breed while Seere wants to create a new Goddess of the Seal, so Nowe has to choose which path to take to stop the apocalypse.
      • The first ending has Nowe try to find a new Goddess and rejecting Legna's plan. Awakening his powers as the New Breed after kissing Manah, Nowe battles and defeats Legna, but sadly loses his friend Eris when she becomes the new Goddess of the Seal.
      • Nowe chooses to follow Legna's plan, only for the Bone Casket that could transform into the New Breed to reject him and fuse with Manah instead. Manah sacrifices herself to destroy the Bone Casket as Nowe, Legna, and Eris lead the Holy Dragons to fight the Watchers.
      • While events at first proceed as in the second ending, Nowe is able to save Manah from the Bone Casket, while Legna summons the Holy Dragons. After Nowe becomes the New Breed and stops Legna, the Watchers and the dragons fade away, finally saving the world and giving the freedom to choose their future.
  • The Nowe that ascends into the Pantheon comes from Ending C. Nowe received an invitation one day into the Pantheon, with the Court of the Gods interested in his origin and the circumstances behind his birth. Nowe accepted and was brought before the Court of the Gods, receiving the title of God of Unusual Multiple Parentage. Not long after, Nowe crossed paths with Caim and Angelus, and is completely caught off guard when Caim is actually happy for his ascension. Caim explains how, as a result of being Inuart’s son, he is technically Caim's nephew. Nowe is shocked by this, but despite sympathizing with him and his dragon, Noweis still hesitant to accept Caim as his uncle since he still killed his surrogate father.
  • It was once shown what Nowe would look like in a few years time. Clearly, rugged handsomeness runs in his family.
  • Nowe and Giorno form quite with each other due to technically having two biological dads, the latter having been conceived by Dio Brando, who fused his head onto Johnathon Joestar's headless body, and the former being a child of Inuart with Legna's blood in his veins. Both of them sympathize with each other for having an evil father, but admit they still value their father, although Nowe grew up with Legna while Giorno never knew Dio personally.
  • Nowe would come to learn of an alternate timeline in his world where Caim and Angelus appeared in a different world only to shot down, and inadvertently caused an epidemic that would wipe out humanity in that world. He would learn of how humanity tried to survive by splitting their soulsnote  from their bodiesnote  and attempted to bring them back together once the epidemic is dealt with, only for the project to fail horribly, leading to a conflict between the Gestalts and the Replicants. Nowe can only feel sympathy for Nier, since he genuinely did have an altruistic goal, but failed to see that the Shades he fought were actual people. Nowe admits Nier reminds him of himself, someone who wanted to do the right thing, but also made a horrible mistake that put lives on the line. He also is horrified by what 2B, 9S, and A2 had to go through, but is at least happy that they managed to find their happy ending.
  • Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy were Dragon Slayers raised by dragons, though the dragons they knew were caring. Because of this, they sympathize with Nowe for having dragon parent who only raised him to be a weapon. Nowe at the very least is grateful, but admits he treasured his time Legna while it lasted.
  • Ichigo Kurosaki is also a hybrid of unusual origin, having the ancestry and powers of a Shinigami, Hollow, Human, and Quincy. Ichigo can actually relate with Nowe for how he was sought out for his heritage and special powers, given how Aizen kept track of him since his birth because of his unusual origins.
  • Nowe tends to fight evil dragons in the Pantheon, such as Grima, Acnologia, Smaug, and Fatalis. For the latter, Nowe is made aware that it is the only Elder Dragon confirmed to be evil, since all the other Elder Dragons tend to be more like animals living in their natural habitat. Nowe dislikes all of these evil dragons, having had a bad experience with malicious dragons, promising to protect everyone from them.
    • Nowe is sympathetic to any good, innocent, or neutral dragon, having been raised by one. Because of this, he gets along with the likes of Crossbreed Priscilla, Ophis, Spyro, Ryu, Ventuswill, and Tiki. He usually hangs out with them the most.

Metallia, Goddess of Deadly Swamps (Metallica, The Swamp Witch, Lia)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/metallia14.png
  • Potential House: Toxicity and Greenlands and Guardians
  • Intermediate Goddess (Prone to fluctuation based on the presence of her swamp muck)
  • Symbol: Her witch hat over her broom
  • Theme Song: Dear Metallia
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Personification of the Nibelheine Swamp, Wicked Witch with pitiable circumstances and occasional show of kindness, foul yet strangely censored cussing, preference for her cooler name, bad karma and betrayal for good deeds
  • Domains: Swamps, Witches, Magic
  • Allies: Lucifer
  • Enemies: Mordremoth, Tirek
  • Opposes or Opposed by: All foul-mouthed deities, Shrek, Sgt. Roebuck, Pvt. Miller, Pvt. Polonsky, Sgt. Conlin, Gunnery Sgt. Minoso, Pvt. Gaines, and Corpsman Sullivan, Banzai Chargers, Metallica, Risotto Nero, The Crimson Court, Star Butterfly
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Many of the Nippon Ichi deities
  • Impressed by: The Racing Drones
  • Conflicting Opinion: Malygos
  • Friendly Rival: Mordred
  • Minions: The Hundred Knight, Arlecchino, Viscole Dotrish
  • Metallia is the Swamp Witch of Niblhenne, a highly toxic swamp residing within a large forest in Medea. Metallia was at war with Malia the Forest Witch for 100 years, before finally turning the tides by summoning the legendary being known as the Hundred Knight. Upon getting Malia out of the way, Metallia has the Hundred Knight release the "Pillars" that keep the swamp sealed, allowing her to spread it and thus extend her power and reach. Metallia would meet Visco, a princess who was cursed to have dog-like features, Lucchini, a beastman astrologer who desires to become her apprentice, and Mani, a smart-mouthed "punk" fairy who serves as the Hundred Knight's backup guide, all of whom join her in her journey (Visco unwillingly anyway).
    • After getting back at the other witches for pranking her and forcing them to recognize her as a real witch, Metallia is invited to become the court witch of Amataya, only to be caught up in a conspiracy to frame witches as evil and exterminate them. Even though the Hundred Knight saves Metallia from execution and defeats the evil Scum Witch Belda, Lucchini betrays Metallia and helps his wicked father, Totopepe, murder everyone at Amataya's castle, including Visco. Lucchini reveals himself to be an astrologist who saw the end of the world countless times, and resents Metallia for not being able to stop it. Metallia and the Hundred Knight escape to another universe created by the former, reviving those killed except for Visco, before finally avenging Visco's death by defeating Totopepe. Metallia spares Luchini, forcing him to live with the weight of his sins before journeying underground to meet the Great Witch Uraraka for the means to revive Visco.
    • Surprised that Uraraka was the witch who raised her in her youth, Metallia learns to her horror that Uraraka created her from a seed for the express purpose of draining the swamp with her magic, with the swamp itself actually being remnants of the ancient entity of destruction, Nikke. Uraraka hoped that by draining the swamp, the Green Spots Plague and Nikke would finally be eliminated for good at the cost of getting rid of magic and sacrificing Metallia. Malia, despite being a co-conspirator, was actually trying to find an alternative to sacrificing Metallia and went against Uraraka's orders. Before any more can be done, Metallia is betrayed by Mani, who reveals herself to Aguni, a witch who was also Nikke's lover. Mani used Metallia and the Hundred Knight, a small piece of Nikke to bloom the Pillars (Nikke's Bones) and kills Uraraka to break the seal on Nikke so they can take their revenge on the Land of Medea. Metallia accepts her fate as the next seal, breaking her contract with the Hundred Knight, only for the latter to convince the former to instead fight Nikke, and the two are able to successfully kill him and Aguni, finally putting an end to their threat once and for all. Metallia sacrifices herself to revive Visco, but a seed is left behind, allowing all of Metallia's friends to plant her and restore her to life years later.
  • Her temple resembles her home in Medea's Nibelheine Swamp, a small cottage surrounded by a moat filled with swamp muck from her home world. The swamp muck is made up of highly concentrated mana that is known to kill low ranking deities. It also really, really stinks. Because of this, protection is recommended when going near her temple. High level magic resistance or Anti-Magic also helps though sometimes even that isn't enough to combat the smell.
    • Metallia, being born from the swamp itself, has total control over the mana within the swamp muck, making her very dangerous within it's proximity, possessing Greater God-level abilities when plenty of it is present. However, using powerful magic drains the swamp and being away from her swamp for too long without anything to support her can weaken her considerably.
  • Because of the nature of her and her swamp, she has restricted access to the House of Magic, fearing that the mana might actually revitalize Tirek. To say, Metallia hates Tirek is an understatement and regularly makes death threats against him. Tirek, in turn, has been taunting Metallia to make good on her threats, hoping to see her and her mana become eventually become his. In spite of this, Metallia usually backs down. She has read enough about Tirek to know how dangerous he is as he gains more mana and the last thing she wants is for Tirek to become as powerful as the destroyer god from her world. Even if there is a possibility that the swamp muck could be too much and actually kill him, she doesn't want to take the risk.
    • Moredremoth is even worse as, unlike Tirek, he isn't sealed away. Having learned about Metallia's swamp muck, he has made several attempts at trying to attain it for himself, sending minions to her temple. Metallia, having regularly dealt with enemy plant life from her mother, Malia the Forest Witch, was able to keep them at bay. Still, she finds the whole thing really annoying as it was like fighting Tirek and Malia at the same time. However, unlike her century long fight with Malia, Moredremoth is actually trying to win (Malia was just pushing her until the swamp dried up from Metallia overusing her magic).
    • Malygos will once awhile come in to help her protect her swamp but it's only to make sure the mana in her swamp does not fall into the wrong hands and it's a partnership that neither of them like. Metallia hates Malygos' for trying to reign her in while Malygos sees her as a brat who thinks magic is a toy. Not helping is Metallia trying to treat him as her pet dragon, which great annoys him. Still, he usually gets the last laugh when he calls her "Lia", resulting in Metallia trying to blast him for it. It never works and he calls her out on wasting mana on him, leading her to return to her homeworld to bring in more swamp muck.
  • For whatever reason, the Pantheon does not let her swearing go uncensored, which is strange considering that most other foul-mouthed deities are allowed to cuss freely.
  • Lucifer appealed to Metallia's rather restrictive situation, claiming that joining the GUAC will aid her in keeping her swamp safe and will allow the true freedom she had been seeking for so long. While she liked the idea and the nature of GUAC appealed to her far more than any of the other alliances, she read enough about Lucifer to know the lengths he'd go through to fulfill his goals, noting that he's no better than many of the backstabbers she had dealt with in the past. She eventually chose to support him, but made it very clear that if she feels that he or anyone in GUAC is taking advantage of her trust, she will immediately turn on the GUAC. Lucifer agreed to her terms and ever since then, she's been bringing in even more swamp muck.
  • Every so often, when she has the Hundred Knight running errands for her, he will accidentally end up in Shrek's temple instead of his master's. Shrek would then grab the little guy and toss him at Metallia, telling her that while he knows his swamp is better, he would prefer it if her midget off stayed his property. Naturally, both of them end up arguing over who has the better swamp.
  • Metallia is impressed by how the Racing Drones traversed through the Swamp Realm, a deadly swamp full of Eldritch Abominations with ease.
  • Metallia is annoyed by the likes of Sgt. Roebuck, Pvt. Miller, Pvt. Polonsky, Sgt. Conlin, Gunnery Sgt. Minoso, Pvt. Gaines, and Corpsman Sullivan, veterans of Jungle Warfare who have been through their fair share of swamps, constantly patrolling her dominion in search of the the Banzai Chargers, who love concealing themselves in swamp and jungle environments.
  • Currently, Metallia is trying to petition to be called "Metallica" instead, and is quite annoyed by how a certain band got the idea first. Metallia at least though is still satisfied with the name she has, admitting it's still better than being Lia.
    • She also has a score to settle with Risotto Nero, whose Stand's name is also Metallica. Nero on the other hand just thinks she's trying to steal his Stand's name, making the opposition mutual.
  • The Couryard in which the Crimson Court dwell has long since been overtaken by a marsh, which is also afflicted by the varmirism curse that transformed the aristocrats into monsters, changing even the local fauna (such as mutating a Crocodilian into possessing a hive for mosquitoes in its back) and inanimate objects (such as animating a giant statue in the Courtyard into a hateful and malicious guardian). Metallia's swamp doesn't actually have mutation properties at all, but she is interested in the curse and regularly sends the Hundred Knight to gather samples from the marsh for study. This in turn earns her the ire of the Court, who make it a point to send their monsters after her and her familiar. Metallia can only chuckle how badly their underestimating her and the Hundred Knight.
  • Metallia forms a friendly rival with Mordred, aka Saber of Red. Both of them are boisterous girls who enjoy a good battle, actually fighting each other when they first met before stopping to discuss their differences. Both eagerly wait another day to spar and show their strength.
  • Metallia doesn't get along well with Star Butterfly for how she destroyed magic, considering how she was used in an attempt to destroy magic. Star dislikes her for how she used her magic previously, which is why she destroyed magic. Metallia points out how there were beings Made of Magic, and asks Star how killing them was any different from what Mina Loveberry was trying to do.
  • Metallia once faced a golem that was made to counter witches via Anti-Magic. So even though she met some entities who use Anti-Magic in the Pantheon, she isn't worried at all, since she has the Hundred Knight able to counter them with physical combat.
  • Metallia tends to act as Vitriolic Best Buds with the other Nippon Ichi deities. She once crossed paths with Laharl, Etna, Flonne, and Sicily by spreading her swamp into their Netherworld. Though she doesn't get along with them (in particular, Laharl and Etna) they are willing to tolerate each other. Metallia is still perplexed when Flonne and Sicily want use air freshener to make her swamp smell better.

Also, I just of something of these to nominate, if anyone doesn't mind.
  • The Earthmatesmembers , Gods of Easy Amnesia
    • The protagonists of the Rune Factory series all start their story and journey with memory loss. The only protagonists to not suffer from this are Kyle's children as well as the main characters of Rune Factory Oceans.
  • Chip, aka Light Gaia, God of Chocolate
    • Chip loves to eat chocolate so much, that Sonic decided to name him "Chip" after all the chocolate chips he ate, since Chip still couldn't remember his name.
  • Aden and Sonja for either Friendship Moment or I Choose to Stay
    • For the first trope, the duo gets two moments in the game that prove how deep friendship goes. The first has the two declare they care deeply for one another before being enveloped in a mysterious, white light that serves as a catalyst for the plot, while the second moment has Aden protect Sonja's soulless body as they fall to the earth below after defeating the Masked Man. The second trope has the Aden and Sonja decide to stay on Fenith Island in the future rather than go back to their time, most likely because they got used to their new home and still have each other.

Here’s my first draft of Grimgor, who I adopted from Crimson. He’s the meanest of the Orcs, a barbaric race who enjoy fighting and conquering the land, no matter who they face. And when they get a whole horde of Orcs together into one big fighting force, that’s what they call a WAAAAGH!

Grimgor Ironhide, God of Phonetic Dialogue Interpretations (Warchief Grimgor Ironhide, DA BEST)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: An effigy of Gork or Mork
  • Theme Song: His theme from Total War: Warhammer
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Blood Knight, Ax-Crazy, The Berserker, Arch-Enemy (To the Dwarves and Archaon), The Most Feared of the Warbosses, Genius Bruiser, Large and in Charge, once found out that Victory Is Boring, World’s Strongest Orc, Inexplicably Awesome, Asskicking Equals Authority, Screaming Warrior, Believes in Leadership through Strength, One-Man Army, Alien Sense of views towards Other Races, Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor
  • Domains: Orcs, Fighting, Speech, Conquest
  • Heralds: The WAAAGH-mongas of Greenskins (Gorbad Ironclaw, Gorfang Rotgut, Azhag the Slaughterer, Wurrzag da Great Green Prophet, Grom the Paunch, Snagla Grobspit, Gittlla da Hunter)
  • Followers: Any other Orcs he can find and get to work with him
  • Allies: Warboss Ghazghkull
  • Ambiguous Relationship: Skarsnik
  • Enemies: All other Warhammer deities, but especially Emperor Karl Franz, High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer, Archaon the Everchosen, and Malekith the Witch King
  • No one knows how or when Grimgor Ironhide came to be. But what is known is that Grimgor set out to work making the largest WAAAAGH he could, enlisting or subjugating every Orc he came across. His army, lead by him and his personal regime of Black Orcs called Da Immortulz, would win many battles and destroy many settlements in a brutal campaign. Eventually, during Archaon’s invasion, Grimgor would duel with the Everchosen. The Orc very nearly won, but Archaon, in desperation, would summon a mighty daemon which ended Grimgor’s life and forced his army to disband.
  • The Pantheon was very peaceful one day until deities heard a huge series of footfalls approaching. Before long, hordes upon hordes of Greenskins, lead by the most famous of their kind, would invade the Pantheon in one of the greatest WAAAAGHs their race had ever performed. Grimgor, flanked by Da Immortulz, picked out anyone he perceived to be a good fight and battled them in duels while his Orcs laid waste to any temples they could find. Grimgor very nearly conquered the Pantheon in a matter of hours, but soon came across trouble as the various deities of the Old and New Worlds put aside their differences to fight Grimgor’s army. In a battle that lasted an entire month, the Orcs were finally defeated, but during that time, a cunning goblin had written papers adding Grimgor and his closest generals to the Pantheon under Funetik Aksent due to the way the Orcs speak and passed them under everyone’s noses. Thus, the deities in the Pantheon were left with no choice but to ascend Grimgor, who gloated that he had "fooled every'un".
  • The other races of the Warhammer universe all hate Grimgor and his barbaric ways, and thus usually are the first to challenge him when he tries to go on another WAAAAGH. Some of his most frequent opponents are as follows:
    • Emperor Franz and the Empire have long been assaulted by Orcs, including most famously by Gorbad Ironclaw, one of Grimgor’s heralds, who very nearly destroyed their capital of Altdorf had it not been for a series of stupid decisions by his Orcs.
    • High King Thorgrim is another foe for the Orcs. His Dwarves have written many grudges in their book due to the Orcs constantly attacking their holds, and Thorgrim is willing to battle the Orcs as many times as it requires to settle them all.
    • But perhaps the two biggest targets Grimgor has his eyes set upon are Archaon and Malekith. Though he briefly worked with the two, Archaon, as mentioned, was the one who managed to kill him (but just barely), while Malekith was the one who advised Archaon to attack his army in a plan to kill two birds with one stone. Grimgor seeks to get back at both for this scheme.
  • The scale of Grimgor’s initial invasion impressed Warboss Ghazghkull, under whom Grimgor had been serving as a Follower until making his move. Ghazghkull quickly began allying himself with Grimgor, placing his Orks to guard his temple of Black Crag and to assist him during any WAAAAGHs he might attempt. For the most part, Grimgor believes that though Ghazghkull has superior tech, he is just another WAAAAGH-monga, albeit a more valuable one.
  • Grimgor was surprised to see that Skarsnik had managed to ascend before he and the other Orcs could and set up a temple. While Grimgor treats the rest of his WAAAAGH-mongas as close henchmen, he has a complicated relationship with Skarsnik due to him being a Goblin. That being said, Skarsnik is quick to assist Grimgor during any of his invasions, as nothing gets Orcs together like a good WAAAAGH.
