Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Risdio Just one arrow for comments directly above yours. It's going to get very confusing if you keep using two like that.

Plusle and Minun, Co-Gods Of Opposites Theme Naming (The Cheering Pokémon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/311plusle_and_312minun_anime.png
Left: Plusle Right: Minun
  • Note: Tune-up
  • Demigoddess and Demigod respectively (Lesser Goddess and God working together)
  • Symbol: Their cheek sacks with their plus and minus symbols
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Gender: Female and Male respectively
  • Abilities: Plus for Plusle and Minus for Minun
  • Moves
    • Both: Helping Hand
    • Plusle: Agility, Shock Wave, Swift
    • Minum: Bestow, Thunder, Nasty Plot
    • Z-Move: Gigavolt Havoc
  • Portfolio: Pikaclones, Abilities that raises special attack when in double battles, Nice Mice, Quirky Bards, Opposites Theme Naming
  • Domains: Plus and Minus signs, electricity, cheering
  • High Priest and Priestess: Rin and Len Kagamine
  • Followers: Shiramine Ayaka and Kurosawa Yurine, Princesses Dawn and Eve, Kath Day and Kel Knight, Jeego and Tengo, Scott Winters and Julie Summers
  • Allies: Pikachu, Ash Ketchum, Mrs. Brisby, Chip and Dale, Lunick and Solana, Pyrrha Nikos, Garnet, Kim Possible, Miu, Claire Bennet, Juliet Starling, Buffy Summers, Son Goten and Trunks, Android 17 and 18
  • On good terms with: The House of Friendship
  • Enemies: All Pokemon villians, The Corpus
  • Opposes: The house Earth and Rock and those with ground powers, the House of Hatred, Hansel and Gretel
  • Conflicting Opinion: Deoxys, Rayquaza
  • Slightly Annoyed With: Rena Ryuugu
  • One day, these two rodents appear wandering around the Pantheon, cheering on anybody that they wanted to. It was later found out the two have ascended to share the title of Opposites Theme Naming. The duo are noticeable for being the first "Pikaclones" to join the Pantheon, in that the two have electrical sacks on their cheeks and look alike to Pikachu. Thanks to their abilities of Plus and Minus, their Sp Atk increases with a Pokemon of the other ability.
  • It was considered appropriate that the two would get to be partners with two deities that also share a title. Considering the two share similar color schemes and work well in double battles, the two little Pokemon decided to become the partners of the twins Lua & Luca. The two are now seen cheering whenever the twins (or anybody else on team 5D's) are dueling.
  • As there are very few special-oriented moves they can learn Plusle and Minum are easily frustrated by Ground types, even more than most Electric type Pokemon. As such, they steer clear of the House of Earth and Rock. More seriously, they don't want anything to do with the Corpus due to the fear of being weaponized by them. The two get along with Chip and Dale, being another friendly pair of rodents.
  • While Pikachu is the Mouse Pokemon, Plusle and Minum resemble actual mice more. Fortunately for them no-one in the House of Felines treats them like the meal they often treat rodents. The two are friendly with Mrs Brisby since she's another kind mouse
  • Rena had her usual reaction when she first saw the two. When she caught both of them, they started to struggle and started to static. Ash tried to warn her that running after them and rubbing their cheeks so hard distress them, but it was too late and she got a case of "Diamond Dandruff".
  • While they aren't their partners, Plusle and Minun around Lunick and Solana. This is due to the fact another pair of the two were the rangers' partners. Also, the two don't really know what to think about Deoxys and Rayquaza. Considering as pass interaction with another pair of Plusle and Minun, even if the two did befriend them in the end.
  • Considering both of them are the Cheering Pokemon, they're both good friends with the cheerleaders in the Pantheon and could be considered the "mascots" of the group. Among them are Kim Possible, Buffy Summeras, Miu and Claire Bennett. The Pokemon don't have many enemies because they're naturally cheerful and friendly beings.
    • Though neutral-aligned, they tend never to cheer on evil gods. Mainly due to the rule almost all Pokemon follow "there are no bad Pokemon, only bad trainers".
  • The Cheering Pokemon don't like the House of Hatred on principle; their abilities and twin status makes them pro-friendship and pro-companionship by default. And on principle, this means that they naturally associate with the House of Friendship, and cheer those who defend friendship as a whole. They're interested in Goten and Trunks' bond, and wonder if they could perform a Fusion Dance and become even more powerful than together.
  • Not literal twins, but they understand the bond of those within the House of Twins. The bond and personality of Hansel and Gretel, however, is pretty sick and twisted for their tastes. They were spooked by the Bad Future versions of Android 17 and 18, however the two present versions in the pantheon proved far more moral and compassionate, so the four came to like each other.

Deoxys, God of the Multiform Balance (The DNA Pokémon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/386deoxys.png
Forme variations
  • Note: Tune-up
  • Intermediate Deity
  • Symbol: A red triangle, blue oval-shaped gem and four small meteorites.
  • Theme Music: Battle! Deoxys
  • Alignment: Ambiguously Neutral
  • Gender: Genderless
  • Ability: Pressure
  • Moveset: Psycho Boost, Hyper Beam, Protect, Extreme Speed
    • Z-move: Shattered Psyche
  • Portfolio: Powerful Mutated Alien Virus, Power Crystal, Recovering from Extreme Damages, Multiform Balance (Glass Cannon, Stone Wall, Fragile Speedster), Combat Tentacles, Humanoid Abomination
  • Domains: Power, Aliens, Mons, Psychics, Meteors
  • Followers: Druids
  • Allies: Ash Ketchum, Lilo and Stitch, The Blorg Community
    • Partner: X
  • Enemies: Nurgle, Thrax, Sigma
  • Opposes: Rayquaza
  • Opposed by: Zinnia, The Imperium of Mankind
  • Under watch by: The Men in Black
  • A space virus which crash landed onto Earth in a meteor and went through a DNA mutation, causing it to take a form of the creature known as Deoxys. It is highly intelligent, has amazing psychokinetic abilities, and can transform its appearance to fit the situation.
  • Deoxys had a rather unorthodox way of entering the Pantheon. Specifically, riding on a six-mile-long meteoroid into the Pantheon! It was only stopped when the gods prayed upon Rayquaza, whom then Mega Evolved and rammed itself into the meteoroid, destroying it into tiny pieces and letting Deoxys fall into the Pantheon like that. No one is sure why Deoxys would do something like that to begin it, though being an alien, it probably never knew what it would cause.
    • Usually requires specific meteorites to shift its forms, but as seen in the anime it can sometimes shift freely. The Trope Pantheon allows Deoxys to do the latter, making it more dangerous.
  • Needless to say, Deoxys really dislikes Rayquaza, especially since they already had a conflict once in the past. Zinnia doesn't like it either. Gihren Zabi was interested in its entrance given his usage of of the Colony Drop, however can't get Deoxys' attention, much less have it accept his evil.
  • Even though it is an alien virus, it has no relation to The Borg Queen or any of her underlings. Due to being a living creature, it has never tried to infect anyone either. And while a virus, Thrax and Nurgle disturb it as they do most deities.
  • Largely distinct from things like the Sigma Virus due to not wanting to infect anything. It would rather steer clear of Sigma, since it fear their viruses mixing or Sigma exploiting it. X has offered to help Deoxys in that. The DNA Pokemon agreed, and found a certain kinship due to X's ability to use various powers and his unlimited potential.
  • Deoxys has four formes. Each forme overspecializes in some aspects. Doesn't make them any less of a threat when used in unison.
    • Normal Forme which isn't that rounded, being powerful, but fragile.
    • Attack Forme, which is slightly more fragile, but even more powerful in exchange.
    • Defence Forme, which sacrifices strength and speed for superior bulk.
    • Speed Forme, which evens out most of its stats, in exchange of superior speed.
  • After one of its battles with Rayquaza, Deoxys ended up crashing into the House of Technology. It soon got the enmity of members for moving around electronic devices, as they interfere with its alien senses. It's why Deoxys rarely interacts with the House of Electricity. As Deoxys communicates through auroras, it sometimes gets confused by the auroras in the House of Ice and Cold.
  • The Imperium of Mankind, as with most xenos, takes a shoot on sight policy due to Deoxys pulling the Colony Drop stint and being an unidentified alien. The Men in Black are keeping an eye on it. Lilo and Stitch, however, gave it the benefit of the doubt and treated the DNA Pokemon with respect. The Blorg Community is intrigued by this enigmatic alien Pokemon, and wants to befriend it. Deoxys accepted, as it doesn't have many friends.
  • The House of Science has tried studying Deoxys, on what kind of virus it was and how did it mutate. Originally they thought it was because of lasers, but that theory has been tossed aside. Well, almost. Those in Genetic Engineering wish to know its secrets and see if they can develop beings similar to Deoxys. Chin Chin was also interested in Deoxys because of his chromosome obsession, something the DNA Pokemon didn't even dignify with a response.
  • Even though Deoxys has almost unrivalled stats, organized arena matches seem to be his weakness.
    Never bet on Deoxys!

New draft on Barry Burton, still working on interactions

Barry Burton, God of Big Revolvers

  • Pities: The Bakers
  • Barry Burton was one the members of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service and part of the Alpha Team that was sent to investigate the mysterious cannibalistic murders in Arklay Mountains. Barry was the weapon supplier of the team and one of the few who survived the whole ordeal in the Spencer mansion alongside fellow Alpha team members Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield and Bravo Team's rookie Rebecca Chambers. Ubenknowns to most of his teammates at the time, he was threatened by Captain Wesker to erase all the evidence in the Spencer Mansion that linked to him and act as his right hand man, otherwise he would harm his family. While Barry had to comply, he later regained his senses and turned on Wesker at the last second. Since then he has been deeply ashamed of his actions and decided to atone by helping form the BSSA and combat bioweapons.
  • Barry was happy to finally join his comrades and as the last of the Spencer Mansion survivors he felt he had big shoes to fill. For starters, he was recommended by Jill herself after feeling that she needed to have one of the comrades that always watched her back and the one that nicknamed her Master of Unlocking after all. Given Barry's tendency to carry huge revolvers that pack quite the punch. In Jill's own words, "He has THIS!".
  • Naturally the Pantheon is home to many dangerous individuals and monsters, many of which were from Barry's own universe. For starters, both Albert and Alex Wesker were one of the first that Barry had unfortunately crossed paths with and he still holds a grudge to both, Albert for forcing him to do his dirty work while with Alex he hates her for almost killing his daughter Moira and his adoptive daughter Natalia Korda. Not to mention the several former Umbrella operatives and B.O.W.s roaming around the Pantheon but Barry is prepated to take them down.

  • Opposed by: Abridged Kirito and Asuna
  • Conflicting Opinion:
  • In a video game with a stat point system, balance is vital to allow players to play according to their own styles, or build their party members on differing specialties. Because when a certain stat becomes vital to a lot of things, that stat will become the "God Stat" most everybody's (who aren't casuals or explicitly not abusing it as a challenge) gonna base their builds on.
    • Enter Kaede Honjou, an average girl who's never played a video game until her friend Risa Shiramine recommended her the VRMMO NewWorld Online, where she took the Great Knight class and the avatar name Maple. Because she dislikes being in pain, and since she's not conditioned by video games to balance her stat build, she dumped all of her points into VIT. Of course, this meant having a pitiful STR for attack, AGI and DEX for speed, and INT for magic. But through sheer luck and ingenuity, Maple quickly gained skills and loot that offset her downsides, eventually rose through the ranks (without meaning to), and became infamous both by the Dev Team and the playerbase (though it's thankfully not toxic enough to socially harass her).
  • As for how she made it to the Pantheon, that's a unique story. One day after school, Kaede found a very special software in her VR device called "Pantheon Goddess". Not aware on how to watch out for malware, she gave it a try, and the next thing she knew, she was in the Maple Tree Guild. Except it was empty, she was not in her Maple avatar, and the surrounding area outside was completely different. As it turns out, this is how she made it to the Pantheon, though it's not known who sent that program.
    • And then an impromptu assassin came in to try and kill her for reasons she would never know. But in response to her spiked panic, she immediately changed to Maple and their knife shortly failed to puncture her skin. And because her shield was on hand, the assassin was shortly Devoured. An envoy from the Court of the Gods arrived shortly after and escorted her in order to get an explanation. As fellow gamers with VR game avatars they can switch in and out of (which means Shiroe, Akatsuki, and Ainz Ooal Gown are out), the SAO heroes were called in as well to assist.
    • Upon facing the Court of the Gods (and the PPC), she was briefed in on what the Pantheon is, how she can come and go without having to worry about the time passing by outside, and why she was "summoned" here in the first place, namely her VIT-only focus and how she was able to break the game because of her achievements. They also told her that while Death Is Cheap here, it's taken as seriously as one in real life, so she should be careful with her actions to avoid making enemies out of who could otherwise be friends. Once they were sure that she completely understood everything she needed to know, she was led back to her temple by the SAO heroes.
  • Here are some important things needed to know about Maple.
    • She's gained quite the comprehensive list of Skills over the course of her playthrough so far. Her VIT is obscenely multiplied, she has plenty of skills that further reduce her damage taken, has poison skills to compensate for her low ATK (and even has a 20% chance to Instant Kill even a poison-immune enemy), she's immune to poison and paralysis, can meditate to recover HP, can draw aggro, takes half damage from explosions, can endure one fatal blow per day, teleport to allies, float monsters with Psychokinesisnote , null pierce effects received with her shield, and more.
    • She's also capable of Eating the Enemy for HP Drain. Of course, given all the skills she has, she's highly unlikely to resort to this in battles here, but she will if it that's what it takes. The limit of that effect is unknown, given that she was able to munch on a Poison Dragon and a Devil (from the inside) that swallowed her up (it died before she could burst out, though), but it's likely that it's limited to what she can plausibly bite into, and she can't "eat" terrain.
    • As for equipment, her defaults are the Mirror of the Dark Night (great shield)note , Armor of the Black Rose (armor)note , Crescent Moon (short sword)note , Toughness Ring, and the Bridge of Bonds (ring)note . The first three equipments also have a special property called Destruction Growth, which will restore them when they break, making them even stronger in the process.
      • She also has a few other tricks up her sleeve. First up is the Loving Sacrifice form, which grants the following benefits. One skill renders all allies in an area of 10-meter diameter around herself under the effects of Cover. Another is a very potent healing spell. Yet another is a dome of light surrounds Maple and her allies, making all attacks ineffective against them for 10 seconds. In addition, while in this state, her hair turns blond, and gains a halo and wings like an angel.
      • Second is the Atrocity form from the Seeping Chaos skillset that she acquired from using HP Drain on the Devil (read: eating it from the inside after it swallowed her). Besides gaining the ability to summon "predator devils" to fight alongside her (and add Hex, which reduce target's abilities for 2 minutes by 5% per stack), summoning a tentacle-like demon from her shadow to whip like a prehensile muscle, and summoning "tentacles" from her hand that can spike out, Atrocity grants her a demon form that has a secondary HP bar, and has +50 to STR and AGI, but loses all effects of her equipment. Better yet, even if this form's HP turns to zero, these changes are merely reverted and she returns to the state she left. While she gets a Voice of the Legion, her voice is still cute enough to detract from the scare factor of her demon form.
      • Third is the Machine God form after clearing a hidden quest in the 3rd layer. It's a power that destroys her equipment and gives birth to (futuristic) weapons that don't rely on her STR for damage. Sacrificed items of higher quality grants better bonuses. It also has limited uses, though the specifics aren't made clear. Besides those weaponry, she can also perform Break Core, where a hole opens where her heart is and a red glowing spherical sphere shoots out 2-meters away. After 5 seconds, it nullifies all attacks in a set range and self-destructs. Everyone in range, Maple included, suffers immense damage from this. However, because Maple's main equipment has an autorepair function that makes it stronger every time it breaks, the "drawback" of requiring strong armor each time is negated and turned into an asset, guaranteeing that Machine God form gets stronger and stronger each time she decides to use it.
      • Better yet, she can mix these forms as well.
    • Additional skills include:
      • Throne of the Heavenly King: Creates a throne behind Maple. The person sitting on the throne (doesn't have to be Maple) receives 20% less damage and recovers 2% of their maximum HP every second. Everyone within 30-meters of the throne, including Maple, have their skills from 'evil'-origins disabled, making this detrimental for all dark-powered individuals. For Maple, this seals her Devour, her Seeping Chaos skillset (Predator devils and Atrocity form), and her Hydra subskills (though she can still cast poison magic).
      • Connection to the Underworld: Doubles the effects of items.
      • Invitation to the Sea Floor: The Maple's off-hand arm turns into a a group of stretchable blue-black tentacles. The user's left eye becomes gold with a black sclera.
      • Crystallize: For 1 minute, Maple gains immunity form bad statuses and their AGI is reduced by 50% (not a problem since her AGI is 0 anyway). Cooldown of 3 minutes.
      • Encouragement: Other party members within 15 meters have 20% more STR and AGI for 1 minute.
      • Wooly: Once per day, Maple can puff up into a giant ball of wool that has the same defense as her.
      • Frozen Earth: Players and monsters within 5 meters of Maple are frozen for 3 seconds. Cooldown of 3 minutes.
      • Heavy Body: For 1 minute, Maple's immune to knockback and because her STR is less than her VIT, her movement is restricted. Cooldown of 3 minutes.
  • Maple's temple takes the form of her guild's base, and is also where she spawns upon login or revival.
  • Like every character who has a gaming avatar, her IRL appearance is her default, and she can change to Maple whenever she likes. Becuase she doesn't like getting hurt, she sticks to her NewWorld Online avatar for most of the day, reverting to Kaede automatically when she goes to sleep (not usually in bedtime since she "logs out" anyway), or manually when she needs to get somewhere fast (since her non-existent AGI means she's unable to run, but she can still be carried) and the area is mostly safe. She can also use Cover Move in the heat of battle to get around when friends are in sight.
    • Speaking of mobility, she's also once used Venom Capsulenote  to descend a cliff by encasing herself in one for safety. That said, given what it is, she doesn't recommend asking her to do the same to others unless they're also Poison-immune like her.
  • Has a pet turtle named Syrup that serves as her animal companion. Besides biting, he can Megamorph to giant size (with double HP) enough for Maple and a few others to ride on, Cover an adjacent party member from attacks (and get a +10% in VIT while doing so, fire a Spirit Cannon from his mouth, call upon the earth, vines, and trees to attack and defend with Mother Nature, and use Rampart to create breakable walls around a selected position for up to 30 seconds. When traveling long distances, Maple uses him as an airborne ride via his Megamorph and her Psychokinesis.
  • As stated among her equipment, Devour allows her to… well, devour an enemy and turn it to MP (and into a magic crystal on her shield if Maple's MP is full), though it's limited to 10 uses a day. This means any hostile entity, although the bigger it is, the smaller the portion of self it loses. For the record, Devour can consume an entire human-sized entity in one go, so that should tell you how big one should be to survive the ability.
  • While she is obscenely overpowered (though still plausibly beatable) in her game world, the Pantheon is a far more "balanced" world with a lot more varied abilities, and so there are ways to get around her extreme VIT.
    • While her defense also comes with good anchoring, meaning knocking her back is really difficult with regular attacks, because of her low constitution (read: small body size), it's not impossible (though very strong attacks are required), and the anchoring doesn't apply for the ground she's on.
    • Ensnaring traps can also work, at least to buy time as even without allies, she can summon Predator devils to free herself. Quicksand can be just as effective
    • Since her gear is mostly metallic, ferrokinetics can easily lift and toss her around, though her high VIT still means she can take plenty of a beating. Crushing her with her own armor could work, but that would take a long while.
      • Heck, telekinetics can toss her around as well (as long as it's not magic, as her shield can Devour that should she choose).
    • Because her game doesn't have such things, she has no resistance to status effects on the mind (like Berserk, Charm, and Mind Control). And she's still susceptible to being rendered unconscious, especially from getting knocked around. As for stuns, that depends on how forceful the blow is to her head.
    • HP to One abilities would also suffice to take her down, though one should also remember that her other forms can offset them, such as Loving Sacrifice and Atrocity. In fact, the only ones that she's afraid of in terms of combat are those who can two-hit kill her either by their skills or their sheer power. Instant Kill abilities would work, too, as long as it isn't poison-based (given she's immune to it).
    • Additionally, most of her offense is focused around skills, so the only way to render her a sitting duck is to exhaust all of her trump cards, and have a way to to get around her absurd defense stat. And she has to be a priority target, since her Cover Move can instantly get her to anybody she wishes to defend.
  • Having escorted her all the way back to her temple after the hearing with the Court of the Gods, Maple instantly made friends with Kirito and company as they talked about their respective games. Besides noting that both NWO and SAO have Final Fantasy II-esque progression systems (which are unbalanced and unfair), as well as their respective experiences and adventures, Maple was amazed that their games allowed for digital avatars different from their real body shapes, such as the tall and busty Leafa actually being the slightly shorter (yet still busty) Suguha, and the short speedy gunner LLENN being the really tall Karen.
    • As for the other reps of their series that she didn't see, despite being a very friendly person overall, she made her very first enemy with Nobuyuki Sugou; besides his plots for mass mind control and his rape of Asuna, his use of the pain limiters to torment Kirito was absolutely terrifying, especially given her aversion to getting hurt. And don't forget about Quinella, who is actually interested in Maple and her obscene defense and skillset to make her an Integrity Knight.
    • As for Akihiko Kayaba, she doesn't like that he had made his game with real permadeath, no matter his reasoning. Had she been playing SAO, that would've either removed her from combat altogether out of fear of death no matter how much HP and DEF she would've buildt up, or simply rendered her not a frontliner depending on how far she's leveled up before getting stuck.
    • Abridged Kirito and Asuna are pissed beyond belief with just how obscene her build is, and that she managed it without any prior gaming knowhow to boot, not considering that that was precisely how she got to where she is now. That said, after having been Devoured by her shield the last time they tried (which Maple was regretful for), they mostly avoid her and settle with making derisive remarks from a distance.
    • Eventually, she got acquainted with the Elder Tale players Shiroe and Akatsuki, and learned of how they essentially got stuck in their game world (permanently, unlike Asuna and Kirito) and had to learn to live new lives in it. She is closer with the latter for her AGI-based build just like her friend Risa/Sally, though her aloof attitude to anyone other than Shiroe makes things a little difficult.
  • As a primary shield user, she's drawn attention from other such users. And she's been recommended to not just rely on the skills she's acquired and actually pick up real tricks from them, just like how Sally incorporates real life experiences into her playstyle (though she's told that what she learns here won't be carried over when she logs out for safety reasons).
    • First up was Reinhardt, even though his shield is temporary and energy based. She's amazed with just how wide of an area he can protect with some regularity while she can only exceed that range with Loving Sacrifice, and a little envious on his independent movement speed on a Charge whereas her mobility is dependent on her allies' positioning. Brigitte shares similar sentiments and hopes to find the secret to Maple's armor (while the VIT is attributed to Maple herself, her equipment still adds to them, and every bit helps).
    • Second is Naofumi, who like her is a Light Novel protagonist with a defensive build. At first, he was envious of her due to how lucky she's had it getting to where she is now even if he's long since surpassed all of her forms in terms of power, though doesn't really hold it against her due to their different settings. He even heard of an alternate tale where she took his place as the Shield Hero with him being the Gauntlet Hero instead with her build still intact. Thanks to Raphtalia and Filo, Maple was able to see Naofumi for the nice fellow he really is. And once he was able to get permission to copy Maple's Mirror of the Dark Night, he's become that much more dangerous.
    • Third was Captain America, who can tell that while she doesn't yet have the attitude of a paragon, she has the potential. He's also aware of her lack of physical mobility and was mildly momentarily triggered when she invoked her Hydra skill in one battle to wash down the opposition with poison, given HYDRA and her use of such deplorable methods (then again, it was her only viable means of offense given her VIT-only build, and knows that poison isn't inherently evil in and of itself).
    • Others include Shield Knight, Zhang Xingcai, Kanji Tatsumi, Goofy, and Steven Universe, and (after getting past the fact that she uses poison in battle) she was able to befriend them all.
    • While not a Shielder, Usalia is another tanky character, though her methods were different. While she does have innately high defense, her focus is more on Damage Reduction via her evility that grants her and people nearby bonus Damage Reduction based on how many allies are near her. Which means even if it's just the two of them, this would make Maple much more unkillable. Usalia also support evility that disables all instant kills, so that's another significant plus.
    • Uther Lightbringer was initially wary of Maple due to her black-and-red armor, but her Seeping Chaos skillset (Predator devils/tendrils and Atrocity form) didn't help her case either. However, her earnest amiability eventually won him over. She also stated that she has an alternate armor set just for her Loving Sacrifice form should it be deemed necessary for appearances (though she won't use her Machine God form for it since that set isn't regenerative).
    • Darkness is also a Stone Wall for her party just like Maple, but there is a major difference between them; the latter's stat build was precisely because she didn't want to get hurt (or at least too much once she had to get used to piercing attacks that were patched in), while the former takes immense pleasure in getting hurt. The young gamer often avoids that particular topic whenever possible.
  • When the Master of Chaldea saw Maple, they thought for a moment that it was Mash Kyrielight in an Alter Form. But after confirming that it wasn't the case, they still decided being allies was a good idea, and Maple was all too willing to make a new friend.
  • As a humble gamer, she doesn't feel obligated to join the war effort, but ends up tangled in them anyway due to her reputation in her game and how it's reflected in the Pantheon, because it was natural that Maple would earn her fair share of enemies (besides Sugou and Quinella) who feel the need to challenge the Walking Fortress and "put her impenetrable defense to the test" or "bring her down a few pegs".
    • First off was Sundowner, who contronted her one day, boasted that he was "FUCKING INVINCIBLE!" (stemming from his use of explosive armor), that she has no right to "lay claim to his territory", and challenged her to a battle. With assistance from his Desparado Enforcement soldiers, of course. With her Hydra skill and Predator devils, she made short work of the mercenaries while she weathered the choppers' guns and missiles (while occasionally shooting them down with poison or shutting them down with Paralyze Shout), and the explosives were naturally nothing against her. When the fight started going airborne, she followed suit on Syrup and let's just say the fight got pretty stupid crazy. It ended in Maple's victory, though, and she didn't even need to break out her Machine God form.
    • Second -to be continued-
  • While her equipment does get auto-repaired even as it gets broken, it's still somewhat of an annoyance as some of her skills are "attached" to them. And given some have means of doing it way faster than anyone in NewWorld Online, she has to watch out for them more. Speficially, if she loses her armor, she would be locked out of her Seeping Chaos skillset (which includes her Atrocity form, which won't be a problem if she decides to use that form soon before her armor breaks). If she loses her shield, she would not be able to restore MP as reliably and cannot Devour any attacks/adversaries. And if she ever loses her sword (which is barely used as a weapon anyway), she would be unable to use much of her Hydra poison skills.
    • As such, this means Chaos Space Marines are a marginally bigger threat to her than any other Mook. And anybody whose weapons are designed for breaking armor are priorities for her to take down in a fight such as Khârn the Betrayer's Gore Child, and Sith lightsabers (as well as the Dark Side of the Force, but she doesn't have much to worry from Jedi).
    • Psykers are another threat, especially those under Magnus the Red even if he's recently returned to the Imperium's side.
  • As a Poison-immune person, as well as a Poison-user herself, she has zero problems visiting the House of Toxicity.
    • While there, she's made a couple of new friends, such as Coco (the first Good-aligned poison-user of the Pantheon), Akame (even if Maple is unnerved with the fact that she's an assassin), Toxie, and even Magellan (as long as she isn't trying to break anybody out of Impel Down, he has no reason to make her an enemy, though he's concerned with her power if she ever sets her mind to that).
    • The rest (of the benign or evil ones) do find her poison immunity annoying, except the ones who can bypass it, such as Medicine Melancholy (since Maple's immunity only applies to the body), Salazzle (though her obscene VIT would still make the Pokémon's Corrosion survivable, getting Poisoned again after so long was a nasty surprise the first time she accidentally provoked the Pokémon), and SCP-106 (decomposition is different from poison). And you can forget about her even thinking of contending with the Phazon or the Lich. And Hexxus' pollution is also different from poison, leaving Maple in a coughing fit if she ends up too close to him.
    • Other benevolent poison-users include Alfyn Greengrass of the Eight Travelers (and she takes the time to order potions from him) and Venusaur (who makes her think of a grown-up Syrup for some reason).
    • Other malevolent poison-users who find her annoying are Nurgle and [[Pantheon/Diseases Typhus]] (though their Plague Marines are still a significant threat).
  • After hearing of how she defeated the Sea King boss in her game to get through its regen, Cyan Garamonde made Maple take an oath never to use widespread water poisoning to defeat an enemy unless the situation is dire enough to necessitate it. It brings up too many bad memories of the loss of his kingdom Doma, and his recounting of it brought Maple to streaming tears enough to accept the oath.
    • The ascended Sea King heard of this and decided to teach her her place by the usual villain way, and did it during one rainy day. It wasn't a slogfest of attrition given that his strength was able to make significant dents in Maple's HP, but her Hydra moveset, as well as her Loving Sacrifice, Atrocity, and Machine God forms, helped her keep up (as well as the fact that she wasn't fighting alone, since there were several gods who have beef with the Sea King)note . And her Cover Move was able to keep innocent bystanders and her allies out of too much danger before Aquaman enthralled him enough for everyone to kill the Sea King for today.
  • Even when she has Cover Move (as well as her Atrocity and Machine God forms) to make up for her abysmal AGI, Maple's open to getting thrown or shot or catapulted to wherever she needs to be, and to amp up the craziness, she sometimes uses Venom Capsule mid-flight (or pre-flight if possible) for better aerodynamics and for additional poisoning since the venom would still be on her even after the capsule pops. The launch can still render her dizzy for a while however, depending on her final velocity.
  • Has weakness for special prizes, and will often participate in any event that showcases such rewards.
    • One of these events eventually led her to trying out Mystery Food Omega. Not taking chances, she did this as Maple, counting on her poison immunity to spare her from most of its effects. To everyone's surprise, she finished the dish without passing out, although she reports that it tasted absolutely terrible, and has no intention of ever eating it again if at all possible.
  • Is advised against provoking the Cuccos, because while they're incapable of harming Maple, they'll certainly be an annoyance to everyone else around her if she runs, they'll use up all of her Shield's Devour uses just trying to attack her (though she thankfully has other shields to use), and they'll likely never stop even if she decides to laze off until someone else provokes them. And even if she does doze off, which would revert her from her game avatar, the resulting vulnerability would just wake her up from the pain and provoke a change into Maple again, putting the Cuccos' progress back to where they started. And that kind of impasse would be boring and tedious.
  • It's not known what a Fixed Damage Attack such as a Cactuar's Thousand Needles would do against Maple. Either it would instantly bring her HP to One (unless Stout Defense already took effect, in which case it would be an Instant Kill), or it would do absolutely no damage given her obscene VIT.
  • One day, while on a walk in the House of Faith, she found herself teleported several hundred feet in the air and falling down fast. Fortunately for her, she still had her three alternate forms available for today (and even if she hadn't, Stout Defense would save her, though her surroundings might not survive her impact), so she wasn't too worried, but given she didn't want to use them until absolutely necessary, she went to quickly thinking of a way to get out of this situation without too much damage. She then saw Saint Walker flying a distance away and used Cover Move to approach him. She still ended up falling past, but the Blue Lantern was alerted to her plight and was quick to slow her fall until they reached solid ground.
    • Right after landing, she and Walker found Sheogorath facing them, greeting them amiably before teleporting the Lantern somewhere far away, and Maple up in the air once more and falling again. And this time, she was in the thick of an aerial dogfight at the House of War. Amidst the aircraft vulcan fire, missiles, SAMs, lasers, Glaive Wurms, and energy spheres, she eventually made it to the ground, sending out Syrup, Megamorphing him, and using Psychokinesis to slow down their fall as soon as she figured she was out of most of the weaponry's range. This drew attention of the ground troops as several of them converged on Maple's location. As soon as she was identified, the baddies immediately retreated given they know their small arms are nothing to her, while the GUAG troops successfully extracted her, and she employed the use of her Loving Sacrifice form to protect as many as she can during this retreat.
    • A long time after that whole mess, she hadn't really thought of that until she had another chance meeting with Sheogorath, but thankfully he didn't do anything to her this time. She was eventually filled in on who exactly he is and what he does.
  • As time has passed since her own ascension, Maple seems to have lost some of her energy and enthusiasm, the seriousness of the overarching conflicts and the burdens of being a hero were taking its toll on her psyche, given that before it all, her time as Maple was just for fun and adventures. Seeing the need for a therapist, and having needed one himself after everything he's been through, Steven took notice and introduced her to Dr. Frasier Crane.
    • For their sessions, the shrink and the patient would talk it out like any adult and child would talk it out slowly. He got her to calm down and encouraged her to not lose herself while getting used to how things are there, and that at her age, she still has much to live for. She thanked him for the session and felt much better, though she would always come back to him whenever she's feeling down again. Crane is fine with that, and told her she isn't weak for it, before going to a little rant as to how fiction is ruining the reputation of his line of work by ignoring them.

Huh, well then, i could use that for Murozond

The future evil version of Nozdormu. And yes, his name is basically Nozdormu arranged to singnify his descent into insanity. Sounds generic i guess but considering that Nozdormu knows how he is going to die and yet he knows he will try to stop it, i felt the anagram was a special touch but oh well.

Other options i have seen is Self-Fulfilling Prophecy because he knows how he dies yet still goes to defy it

So any approval?

Lotor, God of Good Ideals Corrupted By Power (Lotor once wanted his people to be more peaceful, save others from his empire and hopefully ascend to do that just that. Just so happens the Life-Force he needed made him go nuts with power almost immediately, to him draining the people he was meant to save and wanting to wipe out his own race. Whoops.)

Zarkon, God of Realizing Applicability Potential (Zarkon was once a noble king for his people. Then he helped discovered quintessance which would be his downfall. He got interested in the things potential and when using it to do something that’s considered unnatural, he more or less died, came back as a Voodoo Zombie and started being Palpatine. His actions on how to use quintessance is his goal and how further he dan take it. Wow. Thatis dedication.)

Old Yeller and Travis Coats, Representation of Reprehensible Actions For The Greater Good

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yeller.jpg
some caption text
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: Old Yeller's face
  • Theme Music: Old Yeller Theme Song
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolios: A Classic Tale of a Boy and his Dog, ultimately the victims of Young Adult Tragedy Books with a Downer Ending
  • Domains: Good, Community, Animal, Death
  • Allies: Dorothy Gale, Ken Amada, Kiba and Akamaru, Jonathan Joestar, Jack Bauer, Malcolm Reynolds
  • Enemies: TBD
  • Annoyed by: Garfield
  • Observed by: John Wick
  • Pitied by: The subhouse of Sadness, especially Korra, George and Lennie, Simba, Bruce Wayne/Batman
  • Conflicting Opinion: The House of Heroes
  • This is a tragic tale of a boy and his dog that ended up becoming one of the saddest endings in the Multiverse. What was merely a stray meeting an adolescent became one of the greatest friendships between a human and his Canine Companion. Sadly, a bout with rabies forced Travis to make the difficult decision of shooting his companion to save his family. Few in the Pantheon do not know of the tale, yet there has been much debate over how to handle the ascension. Two camps emerged: one who wanted Old Yeller to stay dead and the other group wanted both owner and pet to be brought up. It was the House of Sadness that decided to side with the later, citing various other characters who have previously died yet have ascended. Thus, the boy and his dog was reunited in the Pantheon. Needless to say, much tears were shed from Travis.
    • Travis wasn't the only one who had to perform such a tough decision. George Milton was there to comfort the boy shortly after the ascension. He also helped the boy on how to cope with the return of the very thing he had to kill. Meanwhile, Lennie loves to hang out with Old Yeller. After the meet, George suggests to continue any adventures they may have done together. It turns out the Pantheon many places to explore. The two can often be seen having the time of their lives in the Houses of Nature and Beasts.
    • Besides the obvious tragic fate of Old Yeller, Travis also lost his father early in life and probably would have lost his brother if not for Old Yeller. Long story short, his entire life has been a Trauma Conga Line. As such, he's a sympathetic figure in the subhouse of Sadness. Yet the Avatar Korra believes that that life of his was what helped him become a man. Still, she made herself available for him in rough times.
  • His story was met with great pain from various dog owning dieties in the Pantheon. None of them hope to be put in such a situation and were all supportive of Travis upon his ascension:
    • Dorothy attributed much of her success in Oz to her dog Toto. Both kids were at similar age during their adventures and sometimes continue to meet up with their respective dogs.
    • Ken is even younger than Travis yet he seemed to take the ascension more maturely than most. His own dog Koromaru has helped him cope with the death of his own mother at an early age. Travis wants Ken to check his own mind in case it is in need of a checkup.
    • Kiba offered to teach Travis in the ways of the Inuzuka clan. The farm boy simply declined, preferring to rely on his weapon for protection.
    • There is one more diety to discuss. Though he has yet to make his presence known to the boy, he suspects that the man has been keeping watch. Whenever it seems like he has run into danger from thieves, they seem to back off or get hit with a stray bullet. Travis believes that John Wick has been observing him from a distance. While John Wick has his misgivings with the shooting, he understood that the kid had no other choice on the matter. Many believe that John Wick has made it known to the criminal world that the boy is off limits, lest they want to deal with him as well. That threat alone would be enough for most people in the House of Crime not to rob him.
  • Travis was visited by the billionaire Bruce Wayne, who handed him a cash donation. He later conversed with the boy, talking about how he lost both of his parents to a robber. He told Travis to send his mother Bruce's regards before leaving. He was grateful for the money, but figured he was used to this since he housed orphans such as Richard Grayson and Jason Todd.
    • Despite sympathy for the boy among the superhero community, his placement has been highly contended when it comes to killing human lives. One of the biggest examples was when Wonder Woman snapped the neck of Maxwell Lord to break Superman out of his mind-controlled rampage. It was a hotly debated subject that nearly tore the DC Pantheon in two. Travis' ascension brought up old wounds. Superman and Wonder Woman both came to his temple to discuss the subject. While the two still disagree on the decision, they decided not to let that force them to come to blows.
  • The first Jojo made sure to honor one of the few animals on his list of those who went through heroic deaths. He handed a medal to Old Yeller for saving Travis from various animals in its mortal life.
  • While hunting in the House of Beasts, the two were confronted by a large cat with a red mane. Travis pointed his gun at the creature, but Old Yeller stepped forward instead. After a brief stare, the dog allowed the lion to walk up to Travis. To the boy's surprise, the lion nudged against him in support instead. Turns out the lion was Simba, who understood what it was like to lose a father.
  • As a federal agent, Jack Bauer has come across such circumstances multiple times over his career. He was surprised that such a title would be handed to such a young man, but he was impressed with how Travis handled the situation and the aftermath. As such, Jack sees Travis as worthy of the title.
  • Unlike other protagonists in the Pantheon, Malcolm has no qualms about blasting foes for the safety of his crew. Often times, it happens because Malcolm has simply run out of patients and thought offing the problem would be an easier solution. Malcolm has misgivings with handing the title to a boy who had suffered enough as it is but is glad Travis at least gets to see his dog again.
  • Garfield is one of the few deities in the Pantheon who finished the story without a single tear shed. In fact, he claimed that getting rid of that 'mangy dog' made it a happy ending. Many in the Pantheon was shocked by the claim, though it isn't that surprising given his disdain towards dogs. Needless to say, Old Yeller's displeasure of Garfield is mutual.

William Wallace, God of Brave Scots

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/307772_1_0.jpg
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His claymore
  • Theme Music: Braveheart Theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Crusading Widower who received a Historical Hero Upgrade, Genius Bruiser, gave a Rousing Speech, ultimately Defiant to the End by Maintaining his Independence
  • Domains: Good, War, Rage, Freedom
  • Allies: Groundskeeper Willie, The Joestar family, Connor and Duncan MacLeod, Merida, The Demoman
  • Enemies: The Kurgan
  • Opposes: Queen Elizabeth I, Henry the Eighth
  • Odd Friendship: Nightwolf
  • Special Relationship" The Rock of Ages
  • It was rather easy to pinpoint when William Wallace first appeared in the Pantheon. A loud voice shouting "FREEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!" could be heard throughout the House of Culture. That day was remembered well by the millions of Scottish followers of the Pantheon. It was the day that their most famous rebel fighter had ascended. It was William who helped bring about the reputation of Scots as brave, hardy souls who are willing to fight for their cause.
    • Spurred on by the death of his wife Murron, he helped the Scots fend off the English for many years. In the end, he met his demise and was hung drawn and quartered for his troubles, but not without inspiring others to keep fighting for many more years to come. Nowadays, he is by far the most famous Scot in the past.
    • This version of the real life warrior was different in the sense that he played a far greater importance than his real life counterpart did. There were various other heroes who played a part in the Wars of Scottish Independence who were either incorporated int his character or did not appear at all. In response, William Wallace paid their respects by etching their names on the outer walls of his temple. Inside, one can find information of various Scottish freedom fighters.
  • Previously the most prominent Scot in the Pantheon, Willie was elated that his namesake had finally arrived at the Pantheon. He pretty much confirmed that he was named after the Folk Hero. Their followers peacefully exchanged clergy and even worked together in harmony, a rarity for the usually violent Scotsmen.
  • The Joestar family comes from a long line of Scotsmen. While they don't strive to show off their heritage, they still cheered when Wallace managed to ascend.
  • Many wonder if the film Braveheart was influenced by another highlander based film that appeared a decade earlier. Connor and Duncan Macleod were born centuries after the legend of William Wallace, and were glad to see their hero in the flesh. Of course the two also joked about how there were other heroes during those wars. Regardless, both were eager ally with him.
    • There was one more Immortal to visit him. The Kurgan came by with one goal in mind: to bring the head of William Wallace to his rivals. The two clashed with their swords for the following fight. Wallace was sadly outclassed in terms of strength and was overwhelmed. Thankfully, Joseph Joestar was nearby and drove the Russian off. Expecting a rematch, Wallace unearth defenses to give him more of an advantage the next time he faces the Immortal.
  • Travis Mc-Groot the Demoman on the other hand has completely bought on the legend of William Wallace. He even gets into fights with those who don't believe he can kill a hundred men single-handedly and shoot fire from his eyes. Wallace allows Travis to continue his belief to boost his morale.
    • The only English monarchs in the Pantheon ruled long after his death, but William Wallace declared the two obstacles in the name of Scottish liberation. The monarchs see him now as nothing more than a nuisance now that unification was all but assured.
  • One consolation is the fact that there is a Scottish princess in the Pantheon as well. He has sworn loyalty to the archer Merida in the hopes that she may become a new legend in Scottish lore. He was impressed with the way she asserted herself as a warrior as well as a princess and has pledged to help hone her swordsmanship.
  • Just because he focuses on the freedom of Scotland doesn't mean he's blind of the oppression of other people. He went over to the domain of Nightwolf, resident Magical Native American, and the two likened each other as brothers. William hopes that Nightwolf's people may gain the amount of appropriate he wishes his people may have.
  • His depiction in the film has been divisive for quite a few people in the Pantheon. Yet he is not sure of that of the Rock of Ages. On the one hand, he was annoyed that his version was vanquished by the historical version of William Wallace. On the other hand, he was intrigued that the later performed feats many believed to be mere myth. That deity has been forgiven for now.
  • His presence was at his greatest in 2014, when Scotland was given the option to vote for its independence. His name was used as a rallying cry for those hoping to be free of the UK. It was a contentious campaign in the Pantheon with both sides turning to deities for help. Ultimately, Scotland decided to maintain that partnership. William Wallace wishes he was in the Pantheon at that time, but is now ready to represent the Scottish people if such an opportunity arrives again.

@Patrick: Again, the Demoman's name is Tavish DeGroot. Make that mistake one more time, and I might consider giving that a [tdown].

@Mattman: Actually, the DEATH BATTLE! was a simulation and none of the Mega Men actually physically participated. But the results did indeed have a devastating effect on EXE, as it showed just how powerful he can be.

@r-lock: In case you're writing the content for the G-Force from its TV Tropes page, at the end of everything, the main culprit Speckles will rejoin G-Force once again… after disarming all the malicious chips that he's installed on all Saber appliances, which number in the tens of thousands. So I think the quartet would look approvingly on former criminals who are "doing their time". Add Speckles as a herald, but with the added note of being (currently under probation). The bits regarding the real villain should be hidden in spoilers.

Before I bring Maple up (I forgot to count rmpdc's [tup] last time I posted her profile), I wanna ask if there are more enemies she would make by virtue of them feeling the need to challenge the Walking Fortress and "put her impenetrable defense to the test" or "bring her down a few pegs".

[up] Try Teseo of the Grimoired Seven. He canonically has a god complex stemming from his Septima, Hack The Planet. Considering the sheer potential it holds, materializing data as well as digitizing anything right back, it's well earned and he makes great use of it.

@ Faso: Something with the mercenary Hol Horse? His Stand takes the form of a Hand Cannon called The Emperor which he can not only summon at will at a moment's notice but also control the bullets he fires. It's just a shame he absolutely can't make use of such an inherently useful ability.

Jude the Dude is a killer cowboy who dual wields Hand Cannons.
