  • Ai To Yuuki To Kashiwamochi: A young girl who dreams of sweets finds the guy of her dreams. Said guy turns out to be very special.
    • Irisu Syndrome!: A shy girl who really loves bunnies happens to meet some university students on a camping trip. She decides that she wants to join in on the fun too! The plot is much, much deeper than it seems, and left many players guessing.
  • Angry Birds: When their offspring are stolen, a group of unlikely heroes launches an attack on the kidnappers. They truly go the extra mile, even putting their own lives on the line.
  • Animal Soccer World: Two rivals sport teams square off in an exciting soccer match. A masterfully-acted, complex tale of rivalry and social introspection filled to the brim with wonderful musical performances!
  • Anubis 2: A game from one of the most notorious video game publishers ever. Its port is however more known than the original game. It however still is an important milestone since its style would define all future games the company would make. No level has been re-edited in the future games, really.

    • Final Fantasy XIII: A former soldier betrays her corrupt government in order to save her sister from their machinations. She is joined by a group of misfits, and the group finds themselves in a deeper conflict that threatens the whole existence of humanity — forging friendships and defying their fates along the way of their adventures.
  • Fortnite: An unexplained storm has engulfed the planet, causing 95% of humanity to disappear, and strange monsters resembling the walking dead appear virtually out of nowhere. You have stumbled upon a bunker maintained by a few small robots, who decide that you're the only person around suitable enough to be their commander. You must gather what remains of humanity and find a way to eliminate the storm while fighting the monsters and defending critical positions through constructing fortresses, with humanity's last hope possibly being from a corporation with dubious ethics who apparently anticipated the storm long before it appeared...
    • Fortnite Battle Royale: A hundred people at a time train to fight the aforementioned storm by being dropped on an island and battling until only one person (or one team) is left standing, with competitors being forced to scavenge for weapons and supplies in order to gain an edge. Fortunately, the losers are teleported out when defeated, rather than killed.
  • Freddi Fish: The Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch: An experienced detective seeks to masquerade as a criminal in order to infiltrate a crime ring that has victimized one of her close relatives. In the end she is able to end their illegal activities as well as expose one of the local citizens as the gang's shadowy kingpin.
  • Garten of Banban: Trying to find your missing child in a long-abandoned kindergarten with still-active science experiments as caretakers. The voice acting is stellar, the 3D models are properly optimized, and the game is reasonably paced.
  • Goat Simulator: An entertaining piece of Xenofiction told through the eyes of an often neglected animal. Widely extolled for its physics engine.
  • Guitar Freaks and Drummania: Everyone's favorite band simulation games.
  • Hellsinker: A complex tale involving humans-turned-monsters, psychological warfare, and three very sophisticated scoring systems.
  • Hong Kong '97: A martial artist of unparalleled skill is dispatched to China on an assassination mission of incredible proportions, but a terrifying undead Communist warrior, resurrected by mad science, is hellbent on stopping him at any cost. Features live recordings of contemporary Chinese music and cutting-edge scathing political commentary.
  • Hoshi wo Miru Hito: A game that boasted a truly innovative way to travel worlds and battle with enemies. Often praised for its depth in the story just before it got to the end. It did not just left a mark on gamers everywhere, but on any JRPG ever since.

  • I. M. Meen: Trapped in an outwordly prison by an anti-intellectualist magician, two children face unspeakable opposition with only their wits and the cooperation of the gatekeeper.
  • I Wanna Be the Guy: A wonderful journey down memory lane with levels and enemies from classic gaming franchises such as Castlevania, Street Fighter, Mega Man, and even Gradius. Sure to challenge players of any skill level and keep them on their toes.
  • Ice Climber: Two heroes who share a strong bond must get past hideous monsters, nearly indestructible barriers, and the harsh elements of nature in order to save their civilization from certain doom. This game's legacy translated into said heroes' appearance in a mega-crossover video game.
  • Ikaruga: A thought provoking Shoot 'Em Up with a deep, engrossing story that plays with the concept of Man's duality and Man's struggle towards Enlightenment. The scoring system in this game encourages dedication and out-of-the-box thinking.

  • Jagged Alliance 2: A disgraced and exiled monarch hires a veteran commander to hire to take back his country from a brutal dictator who framed the monarch for the murder of his father. The commander leads a crack commando force to take back the country city by city. Along the way the commander struggles with managing the personal conflicts between his men and his rapidly dropping approval rateing in the eyes of the citizens he is attempting to save.
  • Jumper: A tragic tale of a failed experiment trying to find freedom in a world where everybody is out to get him. Sure to wrench the hearts of many players.
  • Jurassic Park: Trespasser: A breakthrough in first-person shooter engines that, to this day, still has an active fan community, with people making levels for it.
  • Katamari Damacy: You are the loyal servant of a tyrannical god-being prone to galaxy-destroying rampages. Your task is to infiltrate various locations and steal objects by fusing them to an unholy artifact under your psychic command. If you don't steal enough objects, the god-being grows enraged and crushes everything you've collected into powder; if you do steal enough, he becomes pleased and rewards your efforts by engulfing your collection in a horrific nuclear cataclysm. In later levels, you have to collect living creatures, and at least one point you send dozens of human beings to their nuclear doom. The final level requires, of course, the complete destruction of the entire world.
  • Kart Fighter: Said heroic men, princess, dragon and one of the dragon's footsoldiers join along with a dinosaur, a mushroom and an ape. They decide to beat the crap out of each other in epic fashion. With Hadoukens, spinning, Kung Fu, and banana peels, no less. Spiritual predecessor of the wildly popular Super Smash Bros. series.
  • Katawa Shoujo: An emotional story of boy with a heart problem attends a school of crippled people, learns that one's disabilities don't them make less of a person, leans to cope with his own problems, and finds love.
  • LJN Toys: The video game publisher that, with the assistance of some of the most beloved game developers of all time, brought many iconic movies and Marvel Comics franchises to the Nintendo Entertainment System. The company's logo, when seen on its games, sends an unmistakable message of the quality contained within. It regained attention because a world-famous video game critic has often talked about it.

  • Lester the Unlikely: The most realistic portrayal of the player in a video game ever.
  • Limbo of the Lost: A truly scary surreal adventure horror game where you can visit familiar places from your favorite game(s)!
  • Makai Kingdom: A world ruler makes a simple mistake that leads to the destruction of the entire planet. He can restore the planet by using a magical book that grants wishes, however, a tremendous amount of mana would be required for such a task. And so, he must visit other worlds and use the mana of their rulers to rebuild his own world.

    • Mesal Gear Solid: Snake Escape: A young agent, conditioned to think and fight like the legendary soldier Solid Snake, goes to face a group of increasingly bizarre terrorists before they launch their economy-destroying weapon - unaware of the involvement of the shadowy torturer, Ocelot. Solid Snake provides mentoring and support over the Codec, leaving you fully in command of your brand new playable character, never seen in the series before.
    • Snake vs. Monkey: A partner to the above game. Solid Snake returns to a battlefield conquered decades before by his father, against his will. His orders are to kidnap those who live there, armed with nothing but a gun that, when merely held, makes him feel intent on performing his unglamorous and thankless mission.
