Production I.G is a Japanese production studio founded in 1987 by ex-Tatsunoko Production staff. They've been responsible for dozens upon dozens of movie, video game and anime productions, including Psycho-Pass, Ghost in the Shell, and Eden of the East. They are also well-regarded for their use of digital compositing techniques.

The "I.G" part of the company name refers to its founders, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and Takayuki Goto. They frequently collaborate with Mamoru Oshii.

Production I.G has four subsidiary companies, Xebec (Until its closure in 2019), Mag Garden, Wit Studio and Signal MD, organized under a large holding firm known as I.G Port. From 1997-2006 studio Bee Train was also a subsidiary.

Compare with Rough Draft Studios, DR Movie, Sunwoo Entertainment, Digital eMation, GONZO and Toon City, six other studios known for their CG animation blending. See also photography studio Trans Arts, the company's partner for various shows.

A complete list of works by them can be found on The Other Wiki and ANN. Their official website can be found online.
