Trans Arts (トランス・アーツ) was an Anime studio first established in 1967 by anime and commercial photographer Mamoru Kuroki. Since then, they've worked on almost 200 different Anime and Western Animation series as either a support studio (usually in the photography area) or as main animation provider. In 2012, they declared bankruptcy.
An offshoot, Mook DLE, was established in 1986 by Tetsuro Kumase. They also operated a studio in Indonesia, Marsa, from the mid-1990s to early 2000s. Several of their employees would go on to form Advance Shakujii and Artbox in the wake of the studio's closure.
