Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Caim and Angelus: Next time you post them once they're cleared to go, add Nier as an enemy since it's because of those two that his world became what it is (read:Ending E). He same could also go for 2B, 9S, and A2.

Repost.

Removing Fall Guys from the followers, then.

We do still need [tup] to let groups form, right?

Envoys Of The Singular Hitpoint

A collective of characters who are each a One-Hit-Point Wonder even in the context of the Pantheon. One of their privileges is that unlike most deities, they respawn in a few seconds at the Hall they were last at. Well, except for Sans, who revives the same way as everyone else, since he's extremely good at dodging.

Not quite ready yet. Could use more allies, or should I count the Sisterhood already, which I feel needs a rework already? I'm close to considering doing it myself.

Tomomo, Goddess of Party Games ("Magical Tomomo, the Great Ruler of Darkness", Sweet Eater)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tomomo_boss.png
Her "casual" form
Her Sweet Eater form
  • It all began when a midget of a little girl (who already had someone else's melon in hand) got in the middle of lunch between Mario and Peach and took the latter's cake. The pair (plus Eryi) pursued her into a portal, which took them to all manner of dimensions, where they faced off against all manner of characters, such as a dog girl with love for pudding, a Santa bunny girl, a super-fast Super-Soldier, a rocket-firing aviatrix, and a soft-spoken Super-Soldier, playing games with each of them and their companions along the way. Eventually, they reached the midget's master, who introduced herself as "Magical Tomomo, the Great Ruler of Darkness", and issued one last challenge before they can retrieve what Marie Poppo stole. Since the game board they were on could only accommodate four, Mario stepped up to the plate and faced off against the mastermind, her minion, and a megane school boy "self-proclaimed protagonist" named Kai.
    • After achieving victory, once the items were returned (and Eryi immediately leaving), Peach asked Tomomo about her motives, and the "Magical Girl" explained her story. When she heard of the Trope Pantheons (somehow), Tomomo decided to send out Marie Poppo to investigate it. And so a brief series of thefts occurred, though many of them ended with Marie Poppo's neutralization, which was fine since Tomomo had plenty of them to spare. She learned of the tropes available, and decided that Party Game would be the best fit for her and her game. As for why Marie Poppo stole from Mario and Peach (Eryi's was unplanned), she heard of the Mario Party games and wanted the evaluation of her game from those experienced in such games.
    • Verdict: They were actually satisfied with her dice (plus card) game, and (after she explained what exactly the other characters were) Mario and Peach escorted Tomomo to the Court of the Gods for her proper ascension.
  • Upon becoming an official Pantheon goddess, Tomomo got to work on making a version of her game for Pantheon residents to play. Right now, there are two versions.
    • The first one is essentially the same as the game players on Steam are playing right now. Players can participate, but have to take on "stats" of "default characters" based on Tomomo's renditions of Orange_Juice characters, including Original Generation-types such as herself, Marie Poppo, and Kai, among others. Tomomo takes part under "softened stats" since she's playing with friends there.
    • The second is where the players themselves can take part with their own abilities, but will have to be nerfed or buffed for the sake of balance, and a screening process is required so that Tomomo can make sure there's a sense of fair play. They also get "constructs" of themselves for her and others to play against in other games just like the Orange_Juice characters and the Original Generation characters have been. As for her "stats" there, they'll be the same she has used in her "inaugural" match against Mario.
    • No matter the version, three game modes are available: Normal, Co-Op, and Bounty Hunt. In the second version's Co-Op, bosses can take the form of select adversaries seen in the Pantheon (after Tomomo gets their permission to use their appearance if possible), and new effects and decks to match.
  • In regards to those who try out her game, common players include all participants of Party Games, such as the Mario Party players (many of the Mushroom Kingdom denizens (Bowser and his minions included), Princess Daisy, DK and Diddy, Rosalina), White Bomberman, all Crash Bash participants, Nickelodeon Party Blast participants (SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Zim, Eliza Thornberry, CatDog), all SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! participants (Spongebob, plus Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton) Sonic Shuffle participants (Team Sonic and Amy Rose), the Tamagotchi, and the Pinatas.
    • Conversely, Tomomo also gets invites to partake in Mario Party games at Mario Land for the OG Party Game experience. And yes, she's also gotten frustrated with it.
  • Of course, Tomomo doesn't stay in her domain all the time and goes out in the Pantheon to explore it to acquire more ideas for her game.
    • One of the first she's met is the really friendly Harth Stonebrew, who invited her to his tavern, where she ended up playing a few games of Hearthstone. She also met the Dealer during her time there, who expresses disinterest in her game.
  • Tomomo has an alternate form called "Sweet Eater", one of six gods of sweets in her multiverse (aside from Saki, Sweet Eater, Natsumi, and QP upon ascending as the Goddess of Pudding), and is more powerful than her base form. She cannot access this form without assuming a weaker "casual" form first. At least in her board game.
    • In the Pantheon, it's all but a power-up form for Tomomo; she just needs to get her hands on a bar of (Miracle) Red Bean Ice Cream first. However, if Tomomo is beaten as Sweet Eater, she reverts to her "casual" form, a la de-Digivolution. It would then take a while (and recharge of energy) before she can revert to her better known base form.
  • While she's a Magical Girl, unlike most who get their powers in their (pre-)teens, Tomomo was granted her powers in her mid-20s by "Magical Devil" Mio, who did it because she wanted someone to hang out with her. Unfortunately, her idea of play involves a lot of pain, so Tomomo ditched her to create her board game world and all its denizens, their personalities derived from their real selves at the worlds they originate.from.
    • As such, the GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood eventually reached out to her with an invitation. Given her interests, she wasn't exactly jumping at the chance, but given the threats in the Pantheon that could mess with her game worlds in ways worse than Mio or Star Breaker, she's willing to lend a hand if she's around.
    • Just like every magic-user, she's been told to avoid Tirek given his ability to absorb magic. And given what Tomomo is already capable of, nobody wants that happening.
  • As her "standard form" Hyper Card indicates, she's capable of performing a move called Magical Massacre, which comes in two variants.
    • One, during a free-for-all, the move incapacitates all units in top (or close-to-top) condition (herself included if it applies to her too), which then boosts the rate in which she gets back on her feet when she gets knocked out (even if it's by Magical Massacre).
    • Two, when she's cooperating with allies against a single "boss-level" foe, the move deals damage to the "boss" for every incapacitated ally.
    • For other engagements, Tomomo had to "experiment", given her games don't lend to much variations. So far, she saw that the first version also applied in battles against hordes and between teams, while the second version also applied against multiple "bosses", the damage being split between them.
    • She also has a couple of other moves as seen from her cards that she can use here:
      • First is Super All-Out Mode, which empowers the first attacks of everybody in the area, (though only for direct engagements, and does not count for area attacks).
      • Second is Serious Battle, which sets herself and her opponent on equal footing in terms of offense, defense, and evasion (vitality remains the same, however) for a short period of time.
    • And Marie Poppo, being Tomomo's minions, is always on call to assist her master (even if she can be just as much of an opponent in her board games), and possesses a few tricks of her own.
      • First up is her Hyper, Ubiquitous, which teleports her over to an opponent to steal something (usually currency or any objective-critical collectible like a Time Gear, a Starite, a Gym Badge, an Intelligence Briefcase, a Piece of the Mekhanites' Broken God, or whatever else she fancies) so she can make off with it, though since it teleports her to whoever she steals from, it means her target is in prime range to get it back just as easily.
      • Second—when she's in Mixed form—is the Subspace Tunnel, where she summons warp panels and teleports to one of them. They stick around for a while for Poppo to use, but others can use it too.
  • Tomomo doesn't like those who would mess up her world to do as they please, especially if they want to make it bloody as her "mama" Mio did when she intruded on her game worlds. Love Machine is at the top of that list given everything it's done.
    • This also extends to parents who believe they're within their rights to use their children's resources/creations however they like, just like how Mio also rationalized her actions against Tomomo's worlds.
    • She's been called out a few times for rigging dice rolls in her favor in her boss battle. Her response is that that is natural for a Final Boss, and that at least she's still beatable there.
  • Is deathly afraid of Esdeath, who is a far, far, worse sadist than Mio, on top of the whole idea of perpetuating war just to satisfy her bloodlust.

Let's begin the operation!

  • Usually, in most games, healing is not a big issue, and can be solved with potions, food, sleep, or exiting combat. Sometimes, it takes a bit of effort, or it's just plain impossible to get sick or injured (though death is still an option). In a Medical Game, the treatment of illnesses/injuries/infections is the main point. Enter the Trauma Center games.
  • Derek Stiles grew up in Northridge, a suburb just outside Angeles Bay. After losing his father to an incurable disease (and losing his cat in a car accident before or after that), this started his resolve to become a doctor. His story begins as a surgeon at Hope Hospital in Angeles Bay, just about to complete his residency there and eager to start operating as a full time surgeon. He used to have the assistance of Nurse Mary Fulton before she had to transfer to another hospital, newcomer nurse Angela Thompson taking her place as Derek's aide. While mostly professional, Angie also tends to be moody and prone to outbursts, but is still just as dedicated to her job as Derek is.
    • Their story begins in full force upon the discovery of a series of bioweapons known as GUILT, designed with the intent to cause pain and death to those infected by it. It comes right after the discovery of something in Derek: the Healing Touch, a supernatural ability meant to help surgeons with their operations. The results vary, but for Derek, it slows down time for a few minutes. Partly in thanks to this gift, Derek was eventually invited to the international organization Caduceus (with Angie shortly following suit), which is at the forefront in combating Delphi, the terrorist group responsible for GUILT. Several operations later, all the strains of GUILT have been stopped, and Delphi is tracked down and its members arrested, putting an end to their threat to the world.
    • Another thing to note is that Angie has close ties to GUILT, so to speak, in that her father Dr. Kenneth Blackwell was blackmailed to create GUILT, and did so to keep Angie from becoming a living incubator of GUILT. While he has been rescued, she has not forgiven him for his actions, though he continues to atone after that.
    • That said, GUILT would surface once again three years later, though Derek and Angie would first deal with Post-GUILT Syndrome patients after coming back from Costigar, Africa with new "recruit" Dr. Adel Tulba. And then GUILT itself would resurface, thanks to Delphi remnants, and worse Derek would lose access to the Healing Touch for a while after failing to save a patient (out of four in succession), the pressure getting to him, just as his mentor Dr. Robert Hoffman feared years ago, having suffered that burden himself. He would take a break at Hope Hospital for about a month before Angie visits him and they visit her father who's under probation and helping clean up the mess Delphi made, but when he contracts PGS, Derek finally gets his Healing Touch back after getting his act together, and Derek and Angie eventually return to Caduceus, continuing the fight against GUILT, eventually putting a stop to Delphi for good, exposing that Acropolis and HOA has been utilizing GUILT (now called NEO-GUILT) in certain medicines of theirs as "ability enhancements" (to the point of mimicking the Healing Touch) thanks to Blackwell's espionage, arresting the implicit top brass, and eliminating NEO-GUILT for good as well.
  • Their ascension to the Pantheon came in the form of a Court envoy sent to Caduceus and requesting for the pair, who were just returning days after overseeing Dr. Markus Vaughn and Dr. Valerie Blaylock test out simulation operations against Stigma strains plus GUILT strains. After a lengthy talk with the envoy, Director Hoffman decided that it would be best that Derek and Angie accompany the envoy Dr. Black Jack to their new assigned location: the Trope Pantheons.
  • Applies to both:
    • Naturally, Derek and Angie were first acquainted with the doctors in the House of Health and Diseases, starting with Black Jack himself, given Caduceus has a few shrines dedicated to him. They're amazed at his speed, and that it's all from his body, no mystical Healing Touch necessary.
      • While a nurse, they revere Florence Nightingale for revolutionizing the profession and making sanitation mandatory.
      • Their first big step towards accepting the strange was the salarian doctor Mordin Solus, who was additionally a proficient fighter to boot, given the criminal environment Shepard first found him operating at.
      • SCP-2295 was a massive curiosity, being able to replace organs and patch up skin with plushie materials and they somehow work like the real thing.
      • While the Medic's tech and speed of healing is revolutionary, his practices, mercenary career, and (lack of) ethics prove problematic for them to deal with. Still, after one operation where Derek and Angie had to treat the Heavy after being infected by an anomalous parasite using the Medic's tools (and Angie being critical of their filth before cleaning them), and the fact that he considers his colleagues as friends, Derek can tolerate him at best, while Angie loathes him for his loss of his medical license on top of everything else he's done.
      • Fran Madaraki is another they found unsettling due to her skewed anti-death morality, despite her unparalleled surgery skills, and because of the mutations she's made thanks to those skills. But her rules are relatively easy to follow to keep her sort-of under control. That said, when it comes to heart operations, she sometimes offers to "modify" Derek, though he always turns her down.
      • Outside of the House of Health and Diseases, they were acquainted with Dr. Tenma, his skills as a neurosurgeon, his unending optimism, and his mission to stop Johan Liebert.
      • They were also acquainted with Navy Corpsmen Pacific Assault Squad member James Broderick Sullivan and Flag Raiser John Henry "Doc" Bradley, who have both treated battlefield casualties in the jungles and islands of the Pacific Theater. Derek and Angie are no strangers to medical operations in a warzone, given their time at Costigar.
    • They were once approached by the Lagaard guild and thanked for providing much needed medical supplies, but neither Derek nor Angie remember them or ever being in High Lagaard. Still, the aid is appreciated, and Derek has even considered teaching his art to their (and the other guilds') Medics.
    • As doctors, they oppose those who would promote death, especially death cults such as Delphi was, and those who specifically design diseases to bring that about, having stopped every strain of GUILT they encountered.
    • A surgeon is supposed to have as much of their attention as possible on a patient that needs saving. While turbulence, reckless driving, and darkness may be tolerated since those can't be helped, live media coverage with lighting and flashes will not be tolerated by Angie, even if Derek will try to persevere amidst it anyway. Reality TV with real operations isn't tolerated either, and two other Caduceus doctors eventually put a stop to one such show.
    • Medical malpractice of any kind is not something they'd want to repeat, having once been directed by the government to implant a pacemaker with a tracker in a Delphi mole, who would then be "set free" for him to return to his base.
    • They oppose those who would do unspeakable things for the sake of beauty/youth, just as President Reina Mayuzumi of Acropolis has.
    • The operations they've had to perform in the Pantheon has led to enemies and allies as well.
      • There was one operation on a patient who was infected with Thrax, and he proved more challenging to deal with than even the GUILT strains Savato and Aletheia since he's actually sapient. A timely arrival by Osmosis Jones helped turn the tide, though Thrax managed to escape entirely, leaving a huge mess for Derek to fix.
      • There was also another on a recently "impregnated" Facehugger victim when they were in the area. Usually, they're just written off as doomed, but Derek wanted to save the victim and the patient was taken to the operating room (and Ripley was already contacted). Not being given enough time to grow inside the victim, the to-be-Chest Burster was much weaker than it should've been, though still proved challenging for Derek to handle, especially since unlike GUILTnote , this infant Xenomorph made to attack Derek himself, though his Healing Touch instincts kept him from getting hurt as it found itself decapitated by his scalpelnote  (the xenomorph infant was that weak). Angie swiftly gathered the "pieces" for future study.
      • He suffered a minor breakdown after the operation, given this was the first time he's killed a living thing that wasn't a virus/parasite/bioweapon (thinking back on Dr. Tulba attempt to use the Healing Touch to kill Derek, only for the NEO-GUILT to kick in), but Ripley (who arrived near the end of the operation) assured him that he did the right thing. Also, "prequel" events have revealed that the Xenomorphs were indeed bioweapons that eventually Turned Against Their Masters and were on the loose ever since.

  • Exclusive to Derek:
    • The secret to Derek's success is the Healing Touch, which slows time to a crawl from his perspective as he operates on the patient in record time, though he's been recommended to make do without it as often as possible to conserve his mental stamina and only use it for critical diseases that are as dangerous as GUILT has been.
      • A Healing Touch used subconsciously out of desperation costs the doctor nothing and can last quite a while, while an intentional one exhausts the user and last for a brief time proportional to their focus. Two different Healing Touches can be used in concert without interfering with each other. Meanwhile, two of the same Healing Touch will stack. This includes those from the same doctor (a.k.a. Derek) using a desperation healing touch and an intentional one simultaneously.
    • If worse comes to worst, as long as there's an expert to instruct him, and he has his tools, he can even defuse a bomb, and disarm certain electronic locks.
    • Despite his expertise, he's just one surgeon, and can only operate on one patient at a time. Thankfully, in the Pantheon, there are several advanced healing methods to close up wounds fast when he has to operate in succession. It's one of the only reasons he tolerates the Medic.
    • Is slow at working out puzzles, and gets regularly mocked for it.
    • Despite the last time he had cameras and sensors wired up to him, Derek's willing to have his operations recorded if it can help other surgeons. He'd just prefer that they aren't artificially enhanced like Acropolis Pharmaceutical and the Hands of Asclepius have done with their doctors and Adel Tulba, and using NEO-GUILT as "ability enhancers". Time-related abilities should work just fine, though.

  • Exclusive to Angie:
    • Because she never got it back at Caduceus or Hope Hospital, several are unafraid to give her flak over the things she's done (including suggesting to a depressed patient that they should just die, even if this isn't actually unique to Angie), though they also state that she's tolerated because of Derek and because she pretty much keeps him in line in regards to non-surgeon matters, particularly to remind him to do his paperwork. Interestingly, in certain other matters, he's the more mature one compared to her.
    • Despite not looking the type who would have the discipline to study it, Angie is proficient in aikido.
    • Dislikes parents who do all sorts of atrocities just to spare their children, even if it's because of ransom, as her father had done. It took years before she could look at him again without too much hate.
    • "Nice work, Dr. Stiles!"

The Wanderer Archetype isn't present in the pantheon as there isn't a second Spore Player Race, though some neutral-aligned gods like Kino are considered Wanderers. Different empires and their archetypes reacted differently to groups in the pantheon. The Diplomat Empires were the ones who suggested opening up to the Trope Pantheon in the first place.
  • Azmuth has been visiting the Spore Galaxy in order to get more DNA data for the Omnitrix. To his and the Genetic Engineering sub-house's relief, evolutionary data can be found by digging up certain fossils on the T3 planets that have yet to develop a fully sentient species.

The Little Prince, God of Baby Planets

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/p07c98m0.jpg
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Him standing on his home planet
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Baby Planet, Walking the Earth
  • Domains: Philosophy, Planets, Children
  • Heralds: Fox, Rose
  • Allies: Sora, Shaun the Sheep, Chirin
  • Enemies: Xehanort's Incarnations
  • Somewhere out in the universe lives a little prince, the sole inhabitant of a very small planet. He takes very good care of it by daily ripping out any plants that could easily overrun the tiny planet and destroy it, such as baobabs, and owns three little volcanos, two of which he uses for heating and cooking, and the other is used as a seat since it's extinct, but you never know, so all three are regularly cleaned out. There is also a rose, who led the Prince to believe she was unique in all the universe and thus demanded a lot of attention and care from him. The Prince grew tired of her and left to travel the universe, ending up on Earth. He landed in an African desert where he met an aviator who had crashed there. They had many a philosophical conversation on subjects such as love, happiness and the value one attributes to things. In the end, the Prince realized the rose was precious to him and left Earth. This saddened the aviator, but he always remembered his young friend who taught him much about life.
  • After returning home, the Prince set off on a journey across the universe, saving planets from an evil, giant snake. So it happened that he was riding on his plane with his best friend Fox for company, when they saw a colorful, blocky space ship heading their way. The Prince decided to follow it and both eventually landed on a particular planet, wherein the Prince met the occupants of the ship: Sora, Donald and Goofy. The two groups hit it off well as fellow space travelers and then teamed up to stop the Snake from corrupting the planet. After that, Sora decided to invite the Prince and his friends to the Pantheon, which the Prince accepted as hearing about the place made him very excited to see it. At length he was officially inducted as a deity because of the classic status of his tale.
  • Much like Sora, the Prince cares for the safety of the various worlds and cannot tolerate those who would destroy them or corrupt them for their evil ends, like the Snake does. Given his friendship with Sora, this means he quickly got wise to the threat that Xehanort's incarnations pose, having already made many worlds suffer in a wide-spanning and very complicated plan to create the X-Blade (the Prince didn't fully understand but it made him shake his head at "the follies of grown-ups"). Fearing for his universe's safety and that Xehanort may ally with the Snake, the Prince is determined to help Sora and co. out in stopping Xehanort (and co.) in having his way.
  • His powers consist of a Henshin Hero-like transformation where he wears a coat and wields a sword, and the ability to summon various animals, most notably sheep, the animal he pestered the aviator to draw for him so he could introduce it into his planet to eliminate harmful plants. He seems to have become fairly good friends with Shaun the Sheep after Shaun somehow crashed in his planet in an ill-begotten attempt to visit his alien friend Lu-la. The Prince decided to help Shaun reunite with his friend, especially as he would like to see a new planet himself, plus Shaun makes for unusually entertaining company for a sheep, even if he annoyed Fox considerably. Filled with gratitude for helping him see his friend again, Shaun has allowed himself to be summoned by the Prince, should he ever need his or his flock's help.
  • While walking around the Pantheon, the Prince was frightened to see an animal that seemed to be a sheep and yet also a wolf. The sheep-wolf paid no attention to him as it walked into the woods. The Prince went around asking various passersby if they had ever seen such an animal and he soon heard the sad tale of Chirin, a sheep who trained to be as strong as a wolf, only to turn into something that was neither animal and thus died all alone. Hearing that, the Prince chased Chirin down to talk to him despite some lingering fear of the foreboding animal. Chirin thought he was being hunted and almost attacked the Prince, but he summoned his sheep to calm Chirin. It did the trick, though Chirin was more uncomfortable than anything at the sheep frolicking around him. At any rate, the Prince and Chirin managed to talk civilly and even became something resembling friends. The Prince said that Chirin's strength could be a huge asset in fighting evils such as the Snake and that if he found something to protect, perhaps he could be happier. With that in mind, Chirin accepted being made summonable by the Prince, whose innocence and heroism has him intrigued, and see if such an arrangement could work out.

@wootz: Since he fought a planet-corrupting evil, he could be enemies with The Dark Matter Horde who corrupt planets with their essence as their M.O. Wander might be an ally worth mentioning given his niceness and status as a space nomad that travels everywhere with his Zbornak companion, Sylvia befriending everyone he can along the way. Musashi Haruno and Ultraman Cosmos also had to fight an evil that corrupted planets, but they ended up befriending said evil after purifying itand turning it into the guardian of the sanctuary planet for Kaiju and humans, Juran.

@ wootzits: In Lobotomy Corporation, there's an Abnormality based on story. Though it originally goes by Giant Mushroom Chunk, it's true name upon complete investigation is actually The Little Prince which, like a bunch of different Abnormalities (Oz, Little Match Girl, Red Riding Hood, etc).

Abnormalities are entities originating from the human consciousness and given humanity is living through a post-apocalyptical cyberpunk dystopia with a fantastic/supernatural edge to it naturally these entities are screwed up to reflect that, and The Little Prince is no different. It takes the form of a giant mushroom that spreads hallucinatory spores it uses to lure others that, if enough is inhaled, turns the person into a Mushroom Man. It's story section details one such thing happening to a lonely agent who grew close it when others were wary which lead to his doom.

I would like to give Impel Down The Alcatraz or Hellhole Prison. I know The Warden has both tropes, but I think so long as he keeps one he can be allowed to give one away. Impel Down fits both. It is feared as being similar to Dante's Inferno with ever-worsening levels, and it is famed for being all but inescapable. Luffy needed serious help to get out, and the only person to get out on their own had to sacrifice their own legs. Beyond that, nobody gets out and the beginning of Impel Down takes advantage of Devil Fruit user's Kryptonite Factor

One more post for Feedback Mode before moving on.

I lay down on the grass, which was very short and soft, where I slept sounder than ever I remembered to have done in my life, and, as I reckoned, about nine hours: for when I awaked, it was just day-light, I attempted to rise, but was not able to stir: for, as I happened to lie on my back, I found my arms and legs were strongly fastened on each side to the ground, and my hair, which was long and thick, tied down in the same manner. I likewise felt several slender ligatures across my body, from my arm-pits to my thighs. I could only look upwards: the sun began to grow hot, and the light offended my eyes. I heard a confused noise about me: but in the posture I lay, could see nothing except the sky. In a little time I felt something alive moving on my left leg, which advancing gently forward over my breast, came almost up to my chin; when, bending my eyes downwards as much as I could, I perceived it to be a human creature not six inches high, with a bow and arrow in his hands, and a quiver at his back. In the mean time, I felt at least forty more of the same kind (as I conjectured) following the first.

William Robinson, Aug. 5, 1706 - May 1707). Captain of the Adventurer (Sep. 7, 1710 - May 1711). Currently unemployed.
  • Before this whole misanthropy conundrum befell him, Lemuel Gulliver was actually really sociable; part of the reason for his love of voyages was to become acquainted with the cultures and languages of the peoples he encountered. This is why, during those life-changing four adventures, he didn't have too much of a problem absorbing the tongues of the races he met.
  • One cannot converse about Gulliver without discussing his first stop: Lilliput. The enormous size difference between him and the natives, in short, was both a terror and a fascination. As hard as his arrival turned out to be, the next few weeks gave him some opportunities to aid them in more than one difficult struggle.
  • The utmost of labors the Emperor was to provide him, the capture of Blefuscu, at first seemed to be one of gilded honor. The reality soon came, shortly afterward, when the Emperor made clear his intentions with Blefuscu and the refugees that took refuge there: His majesty desired I would take some other opportunity of bringing all the rest of his enemy's ships into his ports. And so unmeasurable is the ambition of princes, that he seemed to think of nothing less than reducing the whole empire of Blefuscu into a province, and governing it, by a viceroy: of destroying the Big-endian exiles, and compelling that people would break the smaller end of their eggs, by which he would remain the sole monarch of the whole world. But I endeavoured to divert him from this design, by many arguments drawn from the topics of policy as well as justice; and I plainly protested, "that I would never be an instrument of bringing a free and brave people into slavery." His disagreement with Lilliput's choice to absorb Blefuscu became the first piece of evidence bringing him closer to his death sentence, an announcement that drove him to swim away to the opposing island. In asking the Blefuscudians for aid, he managed to sail off before the Lilliputian Emperor could finalize the execution.
  • Brobdingnag, the isolated nation of giants, saw the sir under the supervision of that island's royals; contrary to common sense, they did not entirely view Gulliver's smallness as too much of an oddity because their servant was a comparatively-short 30 ft (Whereas typical adults there stood twice said servant's height). Much in the same way that the foliage and wildlife of Lilliput and Blefuscu were analogous to how they might size up to normally-sized people, Brobdingnagian organisms are also relative to the size of the people but far larger.
  • Even moreso, though, his occupation in the area was a scarring experience. Combine the possibility of being flattened underfoot any day with being tagged as a traveling acrobat every minute and every hour, and you receive the perfect storm.
    • Being used as a toy for, ahem, intimate vices, and witnessing a public beheading in all its sanguine grandeur, are also reason to feel irreversibly squicked. Justifiably, this was the first step in his path to spiting humankind.
  • While overall undesirable, one aspect of the island provided him a much-needed mental cushion. This young girl was so handy, spoke regarding one of the mistress' children, that after I had once or twice pulled off my clothes before her, she was able to dress and undress me, though I never gave her that trouble when she would let me do either myself. From then on, Glumdalclitch, as Gulliver began to call her, toured him nationwide at her superiors' request
  • The voyage just after, to Laputa (Eh, not that one), became a mind-numbingly stale expedition in relatively little time. The inhabitants were uneven-eyed geeks who only ever spoke of music and mathematics, darn all the other subjects. Although the sir had ample awareness of both arts, the whole lack of variety otherwise left him without a good reason to stay there as long as he had in his previous two outings. Their king was apparently so much an expert on those two fields that it fried his cranium and cost him the ability to effectively chit-chat with people, in addition to requiring roughly an hour's time just to be aware that someone in plain sight might be nearby. For the cherry on top, the men aren't especially concerned when their wives have the nerve to commit extramarital actions (Which is very often); said men would just dedicate their time to devising over-the-top calculus equations and it seemed like nothing changed at all.
    • Their outward garments were adorned with the figures of suns, moons, and stars; interwoven with those of fiddles, flutes, harps, trumpets, guitars, harpsichords, and many other instruments of music, unknown to us in Europe, penned Gulliver regarding the Laputians' fashion sense. Although equally as uneven as their household architecture or comprehension of subjects that are not arithmetic or melody, one must harbor the suspicion that such aesthetic patterns would serve as inspiration for sorcerer robes, as if to evoke a sense of apartness from the common world.
  • Directly below lay the science-savvy dependency of Balnibarbi. As promising as the experimental prospects in their capital city appeared, not only did the premises turn Gulliver off (For instance, transforming fecal matter back into digestible product), but they simply were not performable. Because these practices didn't work at all, the natives lived in disrepair - and only served to drive the Briton closer to spiting his own species.
  • While waiting for a ship to travel homeward, Gulliver stopped by the nearby island of Glubbdubdrib, the citizens well-practiced in sorcery. The Governor in particular dabbled in necromancy; the sir was kind enough to let a number of deceased greats narrate the stories of their lives. I was chiefly disgusted with modern history, wrote the man upon learning about the extent to which humanity as a whole was uncouth, For having strictly examined all the persons of greatest name in the courts of princes, for a hundred years past, I found how the world had been misled by prostitute writers, to ascribe the greatest exploits in war, to cowards; the wisest council, to fools; sincerity, to flatterers; Roman virtue, to betrayers of their country... History, as he now understood, must have been written to honor the winners rather than the heroes.
  • The aforementioned vessel, once boarded, laid him over in Luggnagg. At first glance, the people were — for lack of more appropriate terminology — normal. Conversation with the denizens were to unveil that this land, too, housed a unique charm. In this case, the Struldbrugs. Immortal as they were, to be born one was undesirable above all else; they did not remain eternally young. At ninety, they lose their teeth and hair: they have at that age no distinction of taste, but eat and drink whatever they can get, without relish or appetite. The diseases they were subject to still continue, without increasing or diminishing. In talking, they forget the common appellation of things, and the names of persons, even of those who are their nearest friends and relations. For the same reason, they never can amuse themselves with reading, because their memory will not serve to carry them from the beginning of a sentence to the end; and by this defect, they are deprived of the only entertainment whereof they might otherwise be capable. It should not come as any surprise that Luggnaggian law considers Struldbrugs effectively dead by that point.
  • Gulliver was to become captain of his own vessel during the final voyage — until unfavorable circumstances led to him being mutinied. The land in which he found himself this time was populated by equine-like beings who viewed their plain-and-simple society as a utopia, and a pocket of humanity so untaught in eligible processing that they had turned into sasquatch-like freaks of nature.
  • His respect for his hoofed supervisors deepened upon seeing the afore-described Yahoos, humans without any shred of civilization and common sense, to which the Houyhnhnms despised with all their might. My reconcilement to the Yahoo kind in general might not be so difficult, wrote the disenchanted human at the sight of these enslaved individuals, if they would be content with those vices and follies only which nature has entitled them to. Since their masters were not at all advocates of murder, war, or similar methods of instilling death, they had long been forced to resort to owning them as essentially useless livestock. Gulliver's arrival, imperatively, inspired them to utilize a previously-unknown middle ground...
  • The verdict that Gulliver's advanced state of intelligence in relation to the Yahoos might lead them to start an uprising prompted him to return to England one last time, in this case against his aspirations. His faith in humanity had already vanished in the months he spent in the Houyhnhnms' company, and to be booted on those grounds was nothing short of melancholy.
  • In a shocking transition from the man who opposed the enslavement of the independent back in Lilliput, the occupation at Houyhnhnm Land successfully transformed Gulliver into a recluse who merely could not care less about the well-being of other humans, let alone the freedom-deprived. Arriving homeward, he couldn't bear to attend dinner with his family, or spend more than an hour in the urban plane; two horses thus were purchased as a reminder of his final voyage, and the apparently-flawless race that he could do nothing to but admire and donate his time to.
    • With this in mind, it would be especially unwise to inform him a search engine called "Yahoo" exists. Curse you, humanity!!!
  • Upon revisiting Earth after his ascension, he was even more ashamed of humanity after seeing his accounts stripped down to a squeaky-clean version of his first voyage (Something he no longer views favorably), branded as a children's story. The gut of such disgusting pests!
    • According to an interview prior to his ascension, he believes that the Japanese amusement park Gulliver's Kingdom is the nadir of the carelessness when it comes to handling his accounts; here, visitors filled the shoes of the Lilliputians while walking around a colossal statue made in his likeness, with shockingly little in the way of memorable pursuits. Tellingly, it closed after less than a half decade in business, and the aforementioned effigy had become a prime target for graffiti up until demolition was underway in the late aughts.
    • Predictably, the man appeared to be miffed when he learned he was being ascended solely on the manner in which he was captured during his first voyage. Even with the presence of The Houyhnhnm race elsewhere in the pantheon, the very label given to him by the pantheon overseers fills him with unrivaled shame.
  • One afternoon, Miles "Tails" Prower happened to be making some engine modifications to the Tornado when a literary freak, rushing home from the library, dropped a book; it just so happened to be Travels. After careful reading, Tails went to reexamine the third voyage, harboring imagery of a hovering chunk of earth. Knowing his friend Knuckles lived on the similarly-floating Angel Island, he rushed over to show him the chapter, wondering if it stayed afloat on the same or similar principles. The Higher Ups in the Pantheon soon began to piece together Tails' intentions and instructed him to first discuss matters with The Author himself, by this point an on-and-off emotional hermit.
    • Upon tracking down Gulliver, Tails was greeted with a faint groan, the Englishman concerned that he must have been a neuronally-modified subject designed to fit human needs. The fox-echidna duo at first struggled to make him cooperate, that is until a critical thought came to him: if they don gloves and shoes, then why possibly naught in the way of trousers or shirts? Because of this realization, he let his insecurities slip and gave them permission to encounter their algebraic highness of Laputa, first thing.
    • Although no Chaos Emeralds were to be found, it soon was taught to the mammals that the seemingly-inoperable king had the ability to move his island at will, barring sunlight from showering the citizens of Balnibarbi until they were willing to send him representatives on a regular basis (Keep in mind Balnibarbi is a territory the Laputian king has bound to a lifelong contract, and thus regulates the folk with severity). Thanks to a magnetic lodestone composing the core of the landmass (Being the closest thing the island has to a Master Emerald, which solves the levitation question), said king can manipulate the island to exact a repercussion of choosing (As harsh as slamming Laputa onto the below properties, but thus far he has hardly ever resorted to such a destructive prerogative).
  • Much to the Pantheon's surprise, he took interest in fellow introvert Squidward Q. Tentacles. Like Gulliver, Squidward not only has a major disinterest in the people around him ("I Hate People" comes to mind), but the fact that one time, he was tethered by rope when he was mistaken for a monster, treated as a servant for the Bikini Bottomites' every-day chores after claiming to be nice in saving his skin, and being suddenly turned against in a disproportionate manner draws the parallels between them even further.
  • Captain Nemo, as soon as he was met, became an interesting individual in Gulliver's eyes. Although both have had maritime experiences and exhibit some degree of dislike for civilization, the grounds for said aspects are of disparate flavor. Whereas Gulliver traveled purely by traditional vessels, once hated slavery but stopped giving a rat's tail, and now despises humanity in its entirety, Nemo's expertise came from submersible travel, his spite of humanity not as a flawed race but instead from an opposition to aristocracy, and to this day his blood still boils at the mention of slavery (The primary reason for his stand against the aforementioned upper-crust). A feud that lasted a good two hours between the men prompted authorities to limit their encounters to no more than ten minutes.
  • The Pantheon alliances all seem to agree never to let Gulliver encounter The Antagonist, another reputed people-hater dwelling in the temple network. In contrast to Gulliver's distancing from others, the so-called "Not Important" is more hands-on when it comes to exacting his worldview. Fearing that a meeting between the parties would influence Gulliver to translate his loathing into murderous aggression, psychic barriers have been applied that make them intangible to one another should they be within a mile-wide radius.
  • Similar bans have been placed on Lysandre and David Banner, who like The Antagonist are more about actually dealing with humans personally to fulfill their misanthropy than Gulliver will be.
    • The former, who heads the coalition known only as Team Flare, agrees with Gulliver that humans are flawed, ugly, and simply not worth spending time around. Because Gulliver, under the profession of the pacifist Houyhnhnms, has been unwilling to inflict harm on people himself, neither party can see eye to with each other and thus the GUAG thinks it would be pointless to legally allow them near one another.
    • The latter, similarly to Gulliver, accumulated a dislike for their species due to the horrible things he heard about wars and similar military conflicts. Again, differences in approach have allowed the GUAG to rightfully determine that a prospective encounter between them would only result in a rhetorical clash.
    • And whatever you do, do not even begin thinking about a theoretical chit-chat with Zamasu (More on that in the Houyhnhnms' profile).
  • Having kept their eyes on Link and Epona (The latter whom Gulliver desperately wished and still wishes to be self-serving rather than a steed) to gain vital tidbits, the deities traced them back to a grove housing a particularly notable, unascended enity: Horse God Malanya. The GUAG politely asked the once-incarcerated paragon if he could meet Gulliver, now a man with a special connection to these faunas. In meeting the Englishman, much trivia was to be distributed between either side. When mentioning to the lonesome mister that resurrecting horses was his specialty, Gulliver quickly rebutted that the Houyhnhnms would reject this offer. Knowing that one, they reject the belief or presence of deities in favor of acknowledging what they already know and sense, two, do not see any merit in resurrection because it would make death feel less significant, and three, that Malanya revives fallen equines at the behest of Yahoos was entirely a subject they'd never wish to affiliate with (To be honest, old Lemuel got chills from seeing this guy). From that moment on, Malanya has yet to leave his quarters in Hyrule once more, primarily because a second request for his presence has yet to filed.
  • Strolling around the halls of the Pantheon one evening, a beaked being in a vermilion suit walked adjacent to him, inferiors in pursuit. Intrigued by their stance, the surgeon turned around to find another army of bird-like organisms, theirs paraded by an overseer in cornflower. In asking for the reasons behind their bitterness, Zook (In the orange clothing) elaborated that they had been locked in conflict over the manner in which butter was to be applied to a given slice of bread; the memories of Lilliput soon returned to him, having fought with Blefuscu over housing refugees who left because they cracked eggs "the wrong way." Since this isn't the same Gulliver, personality-wise, as the one who saw nothing good come from the fight, ignorance got the best of him and he retreated back the way he came.
  • The GUAG were aware of the Houyhnhnms' dislike for Equestria's residents, but wanted to see what Gulliver himself thought. Starlight Glimmer, former mayor of Our Town and presumably the biggest control freak in her homeland, was summoned as ambassador to Equestria. Witnessing the two Earth-descended horses standing close to Gulliver in his shrine, she struggled to spit out anything of importance due to sheer nervousness until it came to her one of the basics of Equestria in her mind. With enough explaining of the — ahem — prominence of the three pony races to her listener, Gulliver was convinced to make a reply and stood straight. Because he had heard from the Houyhnhnms themselves of their refusal to acknowledge Equestria or its occupants, the former surgeon could not entirely accept himself to befriending any kind of horse that wasn't "Houyhnhnm-like".
  • His blood really froze when Drake Mallard, of whom faced off against a shrink-savvy adversary referred to as Lilliput once, decided to interrogate him in the situation that the villain may have gotten his name from reading about the man's first voyage. Regardless of how much the avian tried to explain the buck-toothed jerk's intent on making a golf course for ants, his listener showed no interest in the story and shoved him through the temple exit, cutting him off just before he could explain how he managed to put an end to the machination. Apparently, having a god from the Extrovert Characterization house didn't sit well with the former surgeon-turned-captain.
  • For reasons elaborated in the Houyhnhnms' profile, Gulliver is put-off by the existence of Crystal (Despite being almost-wholly normal in contrast to Equestrian ponies) or others hailing from her home dimension. Currently, the alliances are at a standstill as to whether non-normal horses should be allowed to even canter by the edifice, even without actually running into Gulliver himself.
  • Another behavioral anomaly with the man keeps in mind his chemistry with mundane, non-horse equines. Take Marty the zebra, for instance: when escorted by the authorities to examine how Gulliver would react, the response was interesting. While the disgraced adventurer did say that Marty individually could not, in any form, be a Houyhnhnm due to seeing the world through overly rose-colored glasses (The Houyhnhnms did, after all, prioritize self-control over feelings, knacks, and attachments to the unknown) and his friendship with a group of non-equines (He explicitly recalled them owning milk cattle). Contrarily, he theorized that maybe, a group of zebras were out there who could be considered distant relatives of the Houyhnhnms, but only if the population was completely immune to any and all ailments and intelligent enough to form a reasonable society with basic infrastructure. To this day, the Pantheon statistics list Gulliver's relationship with the striped ungulates as "Undecided".
    • Zecora, being yet another resident of greater Equestria, is exempt from the above-stated ambiguity on zebras just for coexisting with "non-normal" equines.
  • Although mortified with the Fleischer variant of his freshman adventure, he is thankful they didn't make it all about Popeye as was once planned. If that were the case, then he would probably scream his soul out for being substituted with said green-eater until he's had enough of the bickering and wallop him.
    • Understandably, the entire Mario-universe pantheon (And possibly every video game-derived character post-1981) are just as thankful Popeye (Whom Donkey Kong was originally supposed to be about) was rejected from the final cut of Travels. Had that been the case, this would have extended his already-deep hatred all the way into an entire thriving medium of entertainment.

Golbasto Momarem Evlame Gurdilo Shefin Mully Ully Gue, most mighty Emperor of Lilliput, delight and terror of the universe, whose dominions extend five thousand blustrugs (about twelve miles in circumference) to the extremities of the globe; monarch of all monarchs, taller than the sons of men; whose feet press down to the centre, and whose head strikes against the sun; at whose nod the princes of the earth shake their knees; pleasant as the spring, comfortable as the summer, fruitful as autumn, dreadful as winter: his most sublime majesty proposes to the man-mountain, lately arrived at our celestial dominions, the following articles, which, by a solemn oath, he shall be obliged to perform:

  • Whoa, watch your step there! Small as they are, they are perfectly prepared to tackle any large-enough intrusion and handle them with finesse (Just ask Gulliver!). Luckily, it did not take long for them to warm up to the so-called "man-mountain," and furthermore found benefit in using him as offense against the neighboring isle.
  • Immediately after the people's ruler declared his introduction to the wayward visitor, he set in stone a series of amendments in which he felt Gulliver could accommodate:
    • 1st, The man-mountain shall not depart from our dominions, without our license under our great seal.
    • 2nd, He shall not presume to come into our metropolis, without our express order; at which time, the inhabitants shall have two hours warning to keep within doors.
    • 3rd, The said man-mountain shall confine his walks to our principal high roads, and not offer to walk, or lie down, in a meadow or field of corn.
    • 4th, As he walks the said roads, he shall take the utmost care not to trample upon the bodies of any of our loving subjects, their horses, or carriages, nor take any of our subjects into his hands without their own consent.
    • 5th, If an express requires extraordinary dispatch, the man-mountain shall be obliged to carry, in his pocket, the messenger and horse a six days journey, once in every moon, and return the said messenger back (if so required) safe to our imperial presence.
    • 6th, He shall be our ally against our enemies in the island of Blefuscu, and do his utmost to destroy their fleet, which is now preparing to invade us.
    • 7th, That the said man-mountain shall, at his times of leisure, be aiding and assisting to our workmen, in helping to raise certain great stones, towards covering the wall of the principal park, and other our royal buildings.
    • 8th, That the said man-mountain shall, in two moons' time, deliver in an exact survey of the circumference of our dominions, by a computation of his own paces round the coast.
    • Lastly, That, upon his solemn oath to observe all the above articles, the said man-mountain shall have a daily allowance of meat and drink sufficient for the support of 1724 of our subjects, with free access to our royal person, and other marks of our favour. Given at our palace at Belfaborac, the twelfth day of the ninety-first moon of our reign.
  • If anything is to be said about the country's political apparatus, then one may heed choice of footwear as signal. The Tramsecksans, who are characterized by high-heels, revere the laws and Emperor; the short-heeled Slamsecksans, alternatively, don't actively express the other party's fervent support, but have always been the ones to earn political roles no matter what (This includes the Emperor himself). If this sounds more like a categorization of people and law than actual political schools of thought among a population, then it must also be considered that Lilliputian politicians are solely registered into their positions by winning a rope dancing contest, and not by occupationally-relevant knowledge.
    • Furthermore, the Emperor's son wears one high-heel and one low, thusly leaving his political position an ideological puzzle.
  • Political affiliation (Class more appropriately in their scenario) is not the only issue dividing the island's residents; look no further than the Big and Little-Endians. Due to an accident the Emperor's ancestor had when he scarred his finger after breaking an egg on the larger, fatter half, it was subsequently written as law that all the land's citizens shall crack their eggs open on the smaller, narrower half. Not everyone took convenience with such guidelines; the Big-Endians, as these holdouts were called, fled to Blefuscu to take refuge from the punishments inherent from said law. The Blefuscudian support of the Big-Endian refugee movement eventually transformed into full-on military conflict between the two tiny territories.
    • One other outlier coalition, the Neither-Endians, are composed of no more than half a dozen (Currently known, but unreported individuals are still heavily rumored) participants who prefer to crack eggs on the wide face as opposed to the tips. Even before the accident that initiated the egg-cracking law, cracking an egg in the middle was considered intensely sacrilegious, invoking not only the fullest extent of legal action but also the loss of citizenship and ability to remain in Lilliput as written in their grand temple. In the days since the founding of the Little and Big-Endian separatism, Neither-Endians, when found and proven to be supporters of this fashion, are tied face-down in a boat (A fissure carved in the bottom to let seawater flood the hull), weighed down with a heavy cobble, and left to drown, a centuries-old mode of execution accounted within that same shrine. All in all, it shall not be surprising that they neglected to explain any of these aspects to Gulliver while he was around.
  • Opposition to Gulliver's presence on the island initially consisted of two notable individuals: Admiral Skyresh Bolgolam and Treasurer Flimnap. The former merely despised the man-mountain out of baseless impulse, while the latter was quick to join the former after falling for a false claim that Gulliver was in a relationship with her. Soon, the two began gathering evidence they could use to kick him out of their land for good. Momentum for the inclination eventually received so much gain that the Emperor was convinced to issue a series of legal commandments to rectify his relation with the foreigner.
  • The aforementioned documents thusly asserted:
    • Article I: Whereas by a statute made in the reign of his imperial majesty Calin Deffar Plune, it is enacted, that, whoever shall make water within the precincts of the royal palace, shall be liable to the pains and penalties of high-treason; notwithstanding, the said Quinbus Flestrin, [Term from which "man-mountain" is translated] in open breach of the said law, under colour of extinguishing the fire kindled in the apartment of his majesty's most dear imperial consort, did maliciously, traitorously, and devilishly, by discharge of his urine, put out the said fire kindled in the said apartment, lying and being within the precincts of the said royal palace, against the statute in that case provided, etc, against the duty, etc.
    • Article II: That the said Quinbus Flestrin, having brought the imperial fleet of Blefuscu into the royal port, and being afterwards commanded by his imperial majesty to seize all the other ships of the said empire of Blefuscu, and reduce that empire to a province, to be governed by a viceroy from hence, and to destroy and put to death, not only all the Big-endian exiles, but a likewise traitor against his most auspicious, serene, imperial majesty, did petition to be excused from the said service, upon pretence of unwillingness to force the consciences, or destroy the liberties and lives of an innocent people.
    • Article III: That, whereas certain ambassadors arrived from the Court of Blefuscu, to sue for peace in his majesty's court, he, the said Flestrin, did, like a false traitor, aid, abet, comfort, and divert, the said ambassadors, although he knew them to be servants to a prince who was lately an open enemy to his imperial majesty, and in an open war against his said majesty.
    • Article IV: That the said Quinbus Flestrin, contrary to the duty of a faithful subject, is now preparing to make a voyage to the court and empire of Blefuscu, for which he has received only verbal license from his imperial majesty; and, under colour of the said license, does falsely and traitorously intend to take the said voyage, and thereby to aid, comfort, and abet the Emperor of Blefuscu, so lately an enemy, and in open war with his imperial majesty aforesaid.
  • In the years after the man-mountain's exit, Flimnap had started to idolize Bolgolam outright, so much so that he had begun ignoring his wife (One of the reasons he was driven to assist the Admiral in his movement). Noticing he had been away from home more and more often, the missus saw that their marriage was likely tainted and distanced herself from the treasurer. Emperor Plune, clearly not paying any attention to the acts of the folk around him as usual, saw nothing out of the ordinary.
  • Over time, they slowly began colonizing Blefuscu — until a chorus of voices warned them that stripping the rival of their autonomy would only serve to bite them. They, the Grand United Alliance of Good, promised to give them a Pantheon temple only if they set the Blefuscudians free and formally put an end to the war between them. Heartbroken but unwilling to let go of an opportunity to witness the universe standing before him, the Emperor abided and gave Blefuscu the honor of collective divine heralds as reparations. Escorted by the whole of their army on their way to the Pantheon, the royal family tasked their former enemy with staying put so as to observe anything that may befall Lilliput in their absence.
  • Five days after their ascension, the people had been warned of Sheldon J. Plankton, an envious copepod known to rely on sheer genius to steal a valuable possession from his business rival: the Krabby Patty formula. While most of them scoffed at the idea of a villain largely focused on bolstering his restaurant, Bolgolam and Flimnap did not hesitate to sneak away in loaning the green pest logistical knowledge that would help him better identify the tricks Krabs would commit to keep it out of his reach.
    • Months had passed, and it was unveiled to them that Plankton had a, *cough*, sizable extended family. Since none were by any means geniuses as was Plankton, Flimnap committed his greater hours instructing them in literacy and strategic dexterity. The effort flopped not because of any unwillingness on the Planktons' part to be educated, but simply due to the family load being far too overwhelming for the two schemers to keep up with.
  • Eagleland was soon to appear in their minds, most certainly due to a "Lilliput Steps" existing in the geographical vicinity; under what qualities might the Man-Mountains in this country cite our sublimeness for, the Empress questioned regarding the nomenclature. As the court learned the hard way, the only rationale for a decision was based on the minuscule footprints in front of the cave's mouth; the Moles Playing Rough did not take kindly to the itsy-bitsy warheads wanting to establish a colony on their turf.
    • Not willing to throw the towel so easily, the royal couple summoned a team of armed imperial soldiers, pitted against their chieftain.
      • Mondo Mole Attacked!
      • Shoot
      • To Mondo Mole
      • The Lilliputians Attack!
      • 34 HP of damage to Mondo Mole
      • Mondo Mole tore into his target
      • 273 HP of damage to the Lilliputians
      • Game over
    • Considering that the injuries from the loss took 20 whole days to heal (In addition to three of the soldiers perishing), it's safe to say they won't tread there ever again. When the Alliance of Good soon learned of this disturbance, much drama was to be had at the Lilliputians' breaking of the divine pact, and thus the Emperor and his followers were forced to remain within the bounds of their temple for an entire year as punishment. Bounds of food and water were delivered by attendants to keep the people from rotting in obscurity.
  • When the time came for them to walk freely once more, they were given a chance to take another look at their homeland for nostalgia's sake. Revisiting that island, a dreadful sight had seized them: all the buildings were gone. It was just a matter of time before the culprits appeared — Wallmasters. Dreaded, giant hand-shaped crooks that went ahead and thought it to be a good idea to carry away their infrastructure into the beyond. The other gods were caught off guard because the perpetrators typically limit themselves to dungeon chambers and select rooms in the House of Gaming, leading them to theorize external factors prompted them to invade Lilliput. To this day, the exact circumstances prompting them to traverse new ground are unknown, but bans on them have been exacted in the subsequent ages (Appropriately, their supposed overseers have been informed of such anomalous goings-on).
    • Interestingly, Blefuscu was not targeted during the Wallmaster invasion. Their monarch, in an interview with Pantheon authorities, he saw them approach Lilliput one morning. They were in considerations to provide extra soldiers to shoo them away, but ultimately chose to distance themselves fearing that they would earn the monsters' ire if an Enemy Mine was formed with the rival country. Some have theorized the strange behavior was incited by the numerous divine factions to lambaste the Lilliputians for their inability to follow discipline back in Eagleland, hence why their neighbors were unaffected.
  • It came one day to Papa Smurf that a group of people just about their size (But blatantly not blue-fleshed and much more militarized) was to pass by, and he alerted his youngers that they might either have been monsters Gargamel made to exterminate them or a group of invaders looking to establish colonies (The latter easily the case had the Alliance of Good not intervened). The Pantheon authorities caught on and informed they were a race who had recently been ascended, and thus had every right to tread from reality to reality (They, in turn, had to be notified of their divine right not to colonize them as they once did with the Blefuscudians). Both parties were puzzled with each other's oddities, but soon bonded when told that if Gargamel (More likely than not one to expand his hatred of the minuscule to entities besides the Smurfs) were to learn about the Lilliputians' presence, their offense against him would be frailer. While the cerulean folks were — how to say this — perplexed by having to rope dance as part of forming their good relations, they were not at all appalled by those standards.
  • General Donald Morden, one afternoon perchance, glimpsed the Lilliputians from a distance. Their size, unnatural to him and an unexpected trigger, sent him into a frenzy. He immediately commanded his lieutenant O'Neill to eliminate the eyesore, and gather the rest of his battalion to wipe them off.
    • Concerned for the Lilliputians' well-being, the Rebel Army's fated adversaries, a team under the moniker "Peregrine Falcons and Sparrows" was messaged regarding Morden's irrational loathing of the short-statured population. As soon as the foursome met them personally, the conversation that resulted was slightly uncomfortable, given the terms that Gulliver's visit ended on. With enough convincing and word on the Pantheons' doctrine, though, the Lilliputians eased up to the big people and formed a societal truce with them.
    • Bolgolam and Flimnap, meanwhile, held onto their grudges against normally-sized humans but cooperated with the Emperor's orders so as to not appear out of line. Nevertheless, the quartet, having adapted themselves to many a bizarre scenario, didn't fear their existence one bit and vouched to provide the entirety of their offensive against the Rebel Army, well-aware the Lilliputians' open fire would do little more than scratch their flesh.
  • The relationship with Marco, Eri, Fio, and Tarma became pivotal to the Lilliputians' evolving compatibility with the bigger kind; when notified of a certain Apatosaurus' experience with a similar jarringly small race, the Empress was reasonable enough to help her people expand their horizons.
    • Due to his Mesozoic upbringing, Littlefoot was at first a bit nervous witnessing them due to them wielding tools far more complex than he could fathom (It didn't help that they kept firing every five seconds in case of hostile wildlife). A brief pep-talk with the longneck was sufficient to improve his view of the "two-legs", and soon enough introduced him to Big Daddy, the patriarch of the Tinysauruses.
    • The so-called "fire sticks" the militia wielded certainly frightened the small longnecks, but Big Daddy soon got an idea; the sharpteeth that constantly besieged his society would be scared of the booming report, by extension. Even though the weapons themselves would theoretically not hurt them much, the sheer alienness of gunfire would be more than enough to shoo the theropods away. Wanting to return to their Pantheon shrine, the Emperor assigned Admiral Skyresh and a fifth of the army to serve as permanent bodyguards for them (Let's just say Bolgolam was distraught he could not devise any more schemes with Flimnap or Plankton by then).
  • Speaking of Flimnap, he recalled during the meeting with the Smurfs mention of a malicious race known as the Wartmongers, inhabiting nearby Pussywillow Swamp (In the context of a scheme in which to divert Lilliputian troops against them, if need be). At this rate, the sir was in a state of exasperated desperation, no longer in obligations to be supervised by the imperial family. No longer able to get in touch with his wife (Admittedly by his own volition) or the Admiral, he was left with no choice but to seek a fruitful fulfillment with the cold-hearted amphibians, not caring if his Emperor became suspicious of his exceedingly long absence.
King Bullrush: (Watches the portcullis at his gate ascend, the silhouette of an unfamiliar figure retreating into his quarters)
Jester: (Points scepter unto the doorway') Your grubbiness, look, a visitor.
Bullrush: (To the oncoming humanoid) Who are you, and what might your desire be?
Flimnap: Flimnap, dearest king of the Wartmonger peoples, (Salutes) esteemed treasurer of the omnipresent nation of Lilliput.
Bullrush: (Scratches his noggin for a second) Lily... Pad? We have more than enough here.
Flimnap: (Disbelieving nod) Or least, I was 'til presently. I arrive here anticipating a position upwards to your servitude.
Bullrush: (Guffaws at his suggestion, fists rapping against throne, before realigning himself to the conversation) Might you or might you not be a spy on their behalf?
Flimnap: I, as you now witness, have relieved myself of the said imperial privileges, thusly out of a gravitation of domestic affairs grown considerably beyond clutch. It shall be clarified on the said matter of cultural surveillance that I am by naught means, a spy for the Emperor. To my new most apex patriarch, all the shining suns in the universe residing in his beloved palm, I irreversibly allege to you. May you now imprint on me the sacrament of your all-enforcing autocracy.
Jester: Eheh, take his word for it, maybe? (Dons a Slasher Smile)
Bullrush: Oh, all right, but just so you know we'll be keeping a close eye on you. (To guards) Take him to the ramparts; our construction crew could use a pair of extra hands.
(The patrols proceed to escort a subtly disappointed, but not miffed, Flimnap to his newly-bestowed occupation)
  • The uneven-heeled prince, noting the treasurer's lack of matter, woke his parents up to notify them. This time, they could tell something was amiss. That, meanwhile, led the two parties to wonder if their generations-long system was functional. If a long-serving man as Flimnap were to willingly cleanse himself of his duties, then maybe the Slamsecksans simply weren't meant to be assigned high responsibilities, the reevaluation believed.
  • On the matter of Neither-Endians, the Emperor's son, with a different type of shoe on each foot, has been hinted amongst commoners to be a proponent of this culinary style. Plune and the Empress both have objected to all of these accusations, barring the prince from receiving the leaky boat simply because he is their son. He, meanwhile, refuses to provide any comment on the topic and thus leaves the world with another unsolvable aspect of his character.
  • The Straw Hat Pirates, the minute they spotted these fellers, were reminded of the similarly-puny Tontatta race. Special credit goes to Nico Robin, who upon listening to the Lilliputians' side of the story recounted an entrance that occurred in roughly the same manner as Gulliver; maybe some cultural exchange between the peoples can lead to an alliance through an understanding of common ground, she meditated. She prudently warned the Emperor to be precise in his wording with them because of their serious naivete, so child-minded that they wouldn't much tell the difference between an official proclamation and a mock gathering. Yeah, maybe give it some time before the Lilliputians are adequately equipped to fully and honestly interact with the Tribe.
    • Fellow Straw Hat Usopp also advocates for a friendly relationship between the two communities in the possibility of the Donquixotes, their old captors from a while back, come to reclaim them. The presence of the Lilliputians and their firearms might startle those who only expect bladed infantry as was the case with the Tontatta beforehand.
  • They are all particularly startled by their 1939 counterparts. Much of their attention has been directed to Gabby, the local bellman who blatantly is without an equivalent in the 1726 dimension, and Princess Glory, clearly a substitute for the Prince in an effort to sew relations with Blefuscu through a marriage to their prince (Who as with Gabby, has no analagous figure present in the Swiftian reality). It also came as an insult to them that the war in their reality was initiated not by egg cracking, but by a preference in wedding songs. The Pantheon's heartbeats fluctuated at this interaction, and indefinitely sealed off the entrance to the Fleischer version's homeworld so as to prevent any existential crises.
  • Thumbelina, given her incorruptible nature, quaked apprehensively when seeing Lilliput's army with their weapons pointed up. She identified them on first sight as infidels who wanted to divorce her from Prince Cornelius, as if the world around found it a frivolity to toy around with her. The Lilliputian Prince, although rarely one for speeches of encouragement, was so pressed by the tiny girl's behavior that he vouched for his parents. She regained confidence after hearing the man explain that not only were they unfamiliar with her, but that Lilliput as a whole had since moved past their phase of blind dominance (All thanks to the GUAG). This interaction paved the way for positive relations (Really picking it up, aren't they?) with Cornelius and the fairies, leading to a more prominent interest in textiles and introducing previously non-existent recreational pursuits (Drama, for instance) among the Lilliputian population.
  • The Hocotatians and Koppai have become more confident in extracting resources from untouched planets thanks to firepower from Emperor Plune's imperial militia that they didn't have beforehand. In return, Captain Olimar (Of the former race, and the first to find himself stranded on such a wild world) gathered 70 Pikmin from their planet of resident, 10 of each color from their planet to provide aid to Lilliput. The purples have been particularly a favorite, given their specialty in carrying enormously heavy objects with relative ease.
  • The Pines twins were shocked to discover upon that Emperor Plune's race, unlike the golf-motif Lilliputtians, had next to nothing in the way of athletic pursuits. Given Pacifica's traumatizing role in the whole catastrophe, a meaningful (More specifically, fearful out of hunch) response from her was also to be expected. Fortunately, they clarified that they have no intention on sending anyone to their doom to make their rivals feel better about it — because Plune's people already have enough two-sided conflicts going on as-is. As content as the Pines are with the monarch's statement, Northwest remains cautious out of the thought that they might be partners of Franz wanting to reignite her competitive rivalry with Mabel.

@Clovis: As I said, he doesn't need to sacrifice a trope for the place. Mario Land has Party Game, yet I was able to nominate Tomomo no problem.

@Viracochaxevious

In Animal Crossing, there's a character based off of Gulliver named... Gulliver, a seafaring seagull who collects souvaniers from across the world and gets shipwrecked a lot. Maybe something with the Animal Crossing deities? Otherwise, [tup] for both
