Some person in the world, and nothing else.
My real name isn't Kirby; it's part of my username simply because I like the Kirby games.
I have been a lurker since 2015 (though browsing became much more frequent from 2018 onward). I joined in February of 2021, and didn't start being active until May.
Link to my sandboxes here and here.
NOTE: There are a lot of contributions I've made here that I heavily regret, and I don't want to look back on the pages that I've made them on. I'm extremely sorry for everything.

Things I enjoy:
Note:
- Works in bold indicate stuff I currently really enjoy.
- Disney:
- Too many to count. It'd be much easier to say which Disney film I DIDN'T see and/or enjoy - at least before some time in the 2010s.
- Pixar: Practically everything except Cars 2 (which I haven't seen, and I don't plan on seeing), Cars 3 (Which I also never saw, but I might see), and, to a lesser extent, Elemental, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear and Onward (which range from "decent" to "eh...could be better" in my opinion - or just aren't as memorable as other Pixar movies).
- And the rest:
- Coraline
- Fantastic Mr. Fox
- Ice Age (The first 3 films)
- The Iron Giant
- Kung Fu Panda
- Madagascar
- The Nightmare Before Christmas (Now owned by Disney, but wasn't originally so.)
- Over the Hedge (Mainly a childhood movie)
- Shrek (And no, it's not just because of the memes.)
- Creepypasta (Technically not a book or literature, but it is something you read, or hear someone read. Most of them are, at least)
- Harry Potter (While I heavily disagree with the author's views, I try not to let it affect the enjoyment of the books/movies)
- The Magic Treehouse (A childhood favorite.)
- General:
- Electronic music. Except if it's too commercial-sounding.
- A lot of Vaporwave and Future Funk
- Ambient music.
- The grand majority of video game music.
- Aphex Twin
- Autechre
- Björk
- Boards of Canada
- The Caretaker
- The Chemical Brothers
- Daft Punk
- deadmau5
- Billie Eilish
- Gorillaz
- Grimes
- Michael Jackson
- Justice
- Kero Kero Bonito
- Machine Girl
- Massive Attack
- Portishead
- The Prodigy
- Squarepusher
- Venetian Snares
- Angry Birds (Mainly before Rovio started to shift its focus towards Angry Birds 2, and removed many of the "classic" games from the App Store.)
- Banjo-Kazooie
- Blocksworld (It's a shame it got shut down; it was such a fun and creative game that could allow for complex designs and scripting that was simple to understand, even with a less-then-stellar community at times)
- Castle Crashers
- Cave Story
- Clumsy Ninja
- Crash Bandicoot
- Deep-Sea Prisoner's games
- Disney Magical World
- Doki Doki Literature Club!
- Donkey Kong Country
- Eversion
- Five Nights At Freddys
- Friday Night Funkin' (And many of the game mods that followed suit. Interest has dropped significantly after 2021, though, mainly due to the fandom and its infamy, as well as the full game not coming out - but I still enjoy it.)
- Geometry Dash
- Half-Life and Portal
- Henry Stickmin Series
- I Wanna Be the Guy and I Wanna Be The Boshy (Two games, that, while I've never played, have seen enough works about in my childhood to like them.)
- Ib
- Imscared
- Kirby
- Klonoa (A case of one of those games I've seen extensively in my childhood, but never actually played...)

- Petscop
- Schaffrillas Productions
- Scott The Woz (I really need to see more of his videos, but it just keeps slipping my mind.)
- Of The Slender Man Mythos:
- Marble Hornets
- Tribe Twelve (Though now I'm ashamed due to the allegations.}
- SomeOrdinaryGamers
- SuperMarioLogan (Mainly the older episodes. I even enjoyed plenty of episodes in the Jeffy era (mainly those that place less of a focus on Jeffy) but the quality eventually decreased, and I haven't watched any episodes released past the permanent humanization of the cast.)
- Todd in the Shadows
- videogamedunkey (I enjoy his videos, but don't see them regularly.)
- Childhood favorites (I don't watch these nowadays but they meant a lot to me when I was young. The ones I still greatly enjoy nowadays are marked with an asterisk):

Western Animation
- Over the Garden Wall
- Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM), and Sonic Boom (Mostly in the past, as stated in the video game entry for Sonic, and the former was almost certainly for the famous Internet memes.)
- Internet nostalgia
- Newgrounds
- Adobe Flash media in general. It played an integral part in my childhood.
- Space. SPAAAAACCCEEE!!!!! note
- Scenery Porn. Or any real place that looks good.
- Random-ness - though it depends. There's a reason it's the butt of a lot of "lolsorandom x3" jokes, but not all of it is like that. On a related note, the Random-ness Wiki influenced a lot of my style to this day; it's a shame that the original version closed down.
- Atmosphere. Just like plot and characters, atmosphere is everything when it comes to the audience.
- Or, more specifically, relaxing and/or dark atmospheres, or music with a lot of atmosphere.
- Archiving or viewing things on the Wayback Machine on Archive.ph. A VERY important thing to do. I firmly believe that all media - with a few exceptionsnote - should be preserved, and archiving them with these web archivers is a good way to start.
- Weird/creepy/obscure YouTube videos (don't ask.)
- Iceberg charts
Tropes that apply to me:
May be a WIP forever.- Apologizes a Lot: I do tend to say "I'm sorry" quite often, even for the slightest mishaps.
- Berserk Button: Any and all violent, gruesome, and hateful content on the Internet.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: I often procrastinate, but when I get around to doing an assignment, I usually do well on it.
- Cloudcuckoolander: In real life, I usually have normal conversations. On the other hand, I usually let my imagination run wild on the Internet.
- No Social Skills: I can barely start a conversation with someone I don't know. I'm afraid of socializing in general, even online with anonymity.
Tropes I like
May rarely be updated.- After the End

- Extra: Not a trope, but the Mohs Scale of Rock and Metal Hardness
Tropes that received drastic changes.
Whether it be from renames and example judgement to purges of varying sizes, they've changed in such a way that they have impacted me and made me more cautious when visiting trope pages. (most of it is purges/content removal, though) note
- Signature Song: At first, most of the sections beside Music were removed either to be zero-context, or that it was a music trope. Unfortunately, nothing could save us from the purge. R.I.P. ???-2021, we hardly knew ye. note
- Reality Ensues: Now renamed to Surprisingly Realistic Outcome, because it gives a better idea of what the trope is about than "reality ensuing". Like, what reality? What if it's unrealistic? note Used to be the #1 most impactful change until the fateful day of July 7, 2021, when what happened to the above trope occurred.
- Memetic Mutation: A lot of examples have been removed or purged due to zero-context or just being moments that haven't been used in memetic contexts, though there are still a lot of examples with context. Note to self: add context before adding examples.
- Nightmare Fuel: Lots of purges have occurred with this trope, especially the pages for Spongebob Squarepants and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Thankfully, there's still plenty of it to be found.
- Ear Worm: Since it's now In-Universe Examples Only. It was rather "fun" to browse, despite the trope being vey subjective, and most of the examples having no context to them whatsoever (mostly just lyrics, video links, song titles, and First-Person Writing abound.)
- Non-trope example: Any page that had its image changed, especially if I liked the previous image, had some sort of meaning, or it was funny. Props to some images for actually improving on the other in my opinion (e.g. Faux Horrific's new image is funnier and more illustrative). Of course, many of these changes were either made due to being Just a Face and a Caption or at least partially relating to the trope, but not actually demonstrating it.
