Marksmen

Marksmen deal high amounts of damage over very long distances. They typically use single-shot projectiles, have a slow rate of fire and slow reload speeds. Marksmen cannot rely on their hit points for survivability, but most of them have secondary skills which allow them to escape close encounters with other Brawlers, at least temporarily. Marksmen are strong against most classes on a long distance but lack the sustained DPS to deal with Tanks. Up and close Marksmen can be dealt with by all other classes, but due to their low hit points they are specifically vulnerable to Assassins and Artillery (once in a range).

    Angelo

Release Date: 29/02/2024
Voiced by: Austen Moret
Alternate Skins: Elf Angelo, True Silver/Gold Angelo

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brawler_angelo_render_personagem.png
"I'm here to slay, get out of my way!"
Angelo is the Love Swamp's resident cupid-turned-mosquito. He buzzes around the canals looking for lovebirds to dazzle with his irresistible charm, even if those require a little extra, pointy incentive.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the currently incomplete Swamp of Love trio along with Willow. He's a flamboyant, cupid-like anthropomorphic mosquito who enjoys gossiping about Brawlers to make them fight each other.

Angelo is an agile and evasive Brawler who can make use of his high speed, special Trait, and wide array of tools to quickly move around the map to either snipe his enemies with his high-powered attacks from a safe place or reliably escape from danger before they can retaliate, making him a particularly deadly sniper on skilled hands.

  • Angelo's special Trait allows him to Walk on Water.
  • His Attack, Take Aim, shoots a long-ranged arrow that, depending on how long the attack button is held, will become stronger as shown by a bar that gradually fills while Angelo is aiming. This bar takes 2.5 seconds to fully charge up, and if Angelo is knocked back, pulled, or stunned while aiming, the charge will be lost. Angelo only possesses a single ammo bar, meaning he can only shoot off one arrow at a time.
  • His Super, Welcome to The Swamp, creates a poisonous puddle around Angelo that stays on the ground for 8 seconds and damages enemies who walk into for each second they remain inside. If Angelo is inside this puddle while firing his main attack, the arrows will also leave enemies poisoned, dealing four ticks of 12.5% of the damage he inflicted over 4 seconds, making charged arrows deal stronger Damage Over Time than non-charged ones.
  • His first Gadget, Stinging Flight, makes Angelo flutter in a desired direction which basically serves as a jump that can vault him over walls, staying on the air for a second before touching the ground. Enemies who are close to Angelo when activating this Gadget will receive damage equal to 150% of a non-charged arrow, or 15% of a max charged one.
  • His second Gadget, Master Fletcher, allows Angelo's next attack to pass through enemies and walls. This won't affect the damage of his arrows.
  • His first Star Power, Empower, will heal Angelo for 10% of his maximum health for each second he remains inside his Super, up to 80% healed if he remains the full 8 seconds inside of it. The healing from multiple potential Supers doesn't stack.
  • His second Star Power, Flow, increases Angelo's movement speed by 25% while he's flying over water.

  • Ambiguously Gay: Between his Effeminate Voice, Cupid inspiration, and Drama Queen-like mannerisms, one could make an argument for Angelo being the first openly gay Brawler in the game's history.
  • Armor-Piercing Attack: His Master Fletcher Gadget will make his next attack pierce through Brawlers and obstacles, allowing him to reliably snipe low-health enemies trying to escape.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: He's an anthropomorphic mosquito the size of a human being.
  • Charged Attack: His main attack will become stronger the longer Angelo holds the attack button, reaching maximum damage in 2.5 seconds.
  • Drama Queen: Most of his voicelines have him speaking in a dramatic over-the-top fashion that could rival his fellow Brawler Lola.
    "I am the drama."
  • Effeminate Voice: He speaks with a very effeminate lisp that adds to his Ambiguously Gay characterization.
  • Eyepatch of Power: Sports one over his right eye that resembles a mosquito bite.
  • Fallen Cupid: He has a Cupid motif between his weapon being a bow and him being part of the Swamp of Love trio. However, instead of acting kind and gentle like the eponymous God of love, Angelo has a rather mischievous personality and prefers to use his powers to spread gossip and make Brawlers fight each other, which is better illustrated in his promotional video.
  • Flight: Due to being an anthropomorphic mosquito, he's able to fly around with his wings. Thanks to this, he's one of the two Brawlers in the game (the other being Eve) who's able to freely move through water. His Stinging Flight also involves Angelo flying above obstacles.
  • Fragile Speedster: He has one of the fastest movement speeds in the game, but is very fragile.
  • Gag Nose: Angelo has a long and pointy nose that evokes a mosquito's proboscis. He notably keeps it even in his pins, which portray most Brawlers as The Noseless.
  • Glass Cannon: Angelo has a very high damage output between his fully charged arrows and the potential poison effect from his Super, but has low health in exchange.
  • Healing Factor: If he has the Empower Star Power, Angelo will heal 10% of his maximum health for each second he spends inside of his Super, granting him a lot more survivability.
  • One Bullet at a Time: Angelo only posses a single ammo bar, which means he can only shoot one arrow at the time.
  • Our Elves Are Different: Becomes a blonde, pointy-eared elf in his Elf skin.
  • Poisonous Person: With his Super, Angelo creates a poison puddle on the ground that lasts for 8 seconds, damaging enemies who step into it. In addition, this puddle has the property of poisoning Angelo's arrows if he stays inside while attacking, allowing them do deal more damage.
  • Rummage Sale Reject: His entire outfit seems to be cobbled together from random scraps of clothing and incorporated ropes.
  • Scratch Damage: Angelo's non-charged arrow is so pathetically weak the only reason one should ever be using it is to finish a foe with health so low a single breeze would be enough to kill them. For reference, the only main attack weaker than it are Amber's individual flames, and those are designed to be used as a Spam Attack.
  • Shout-Out: One of his defeat lines, "Sashay, away!", comes from the Elimination Catchphrase of RuPaul's Drag Race.
  • The Straight and Arrow Path: He attacks using a bow and arrows whose tips resemble mosquitoes.
  • Villainous Friendship: While not outright villains, him and Willow are rather mischievous, troublemaking individuals who enjoy forcing Brawlers fight each other with their powers, and they've been shown to get along well as friends.
  • Walk on Water: He's one of the two Brawlers in the game whose special trait allows them to move through water without the need of special abilities.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Angelo goes entirely shirtless, with the only piece of "clothing" on his torso being a pair of ropes he uses as suspenders.

    Bea

Release Date: 18/12/2019
Voiced by: Tiffany Grant
Alternate Skins: Ladybug Bea, Mega Beetle Bea, Neko/Gold Neko Bea, Archvillain Bea, Bea Byte, True Silver/Gold Bea

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bea_bs_full_body.png
"Let's see what's buzzing!"
Bea spends her day watching bugs as they go about their lives, imagining what they'd say if she could understand them... or even what it's like to be one.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Biology Team trio along with Rosa and Sprout. She's a cheerful melittologist who fires bee-shaped drones to attack enemies.

Bea is a Brawler who highly rewards precision and the ability to continuously land her shots onto enemies thanks to her damage getting amplified every other successful attack, making her a unique case of a Marksman who has a very good matchup against Tanks and close-range Brawlers.

  • Her Attack, Big Sting, shoots robotic bees that, while somewhat weak, have the ability to get their damage amplified by a staggering 150% after they hit an enemy, letting her next shot be much more powerful than the last. However, she can't use two consecutive supercharged shots, and can also be lost if she misses with them. In addition, she only possesses a single ammo bar, meaning she can only shoot off one drone at a time.
  • Her Super, Iron Hive, launches a swarm of 7 tiny bee drones that fan out at the end of the attack, slowing down any opponents hit by them for 3 seconds.
  • Her first Gadget, Honey Molasses, deploys a beehive that constantly produces a puddle of sticky honey around it that slows down Brawlers who walk into it. The beehive has 1000 health and decays 30 health per second, though it can also be destroyed by enemy Brawlers.
  • Her second Gadget, Rattled Hive, launches four bees that circle up a fair distance away from her, dealing more damage the further the distance they go. The minimum amount of damage each bee can deal is 25% of a non-charged shot or 10% of a charged one, while the maximum is 75% of a non-charged shot or 30% of a charged one
  • Her first Star Power, Insta Beaload, lets Bea regain her supercharged Big Sting once if she misses its target, though she won't get another opportunity if she misses it again.
  • Her second Star Power, Honeycomb, gives Bea a shield that reduces all damage received by 30% when her Big Sting is supercharged.

  • Achilles' Heel: Thanks to her normal shots dealing low damage and only becoming Supercharged if they hit an enemy Brawler, spawners such as Nita and Mr. P or Brawlers with Deployable Covers like Spike and Ruffs are a complete pain for Bea to deal with, as they can safely advance towards Bea and destroy her with their attacks while she struggles to destroy their protection with her weak, uncharged shots.
  • I Am Very British: Bea has a pretty pronounced British accent, which she shares with her fellow workmate and trio member Rosa.
  • Animal Motifs: She's a melittologist (an entomologist specialized in the study of bees), attacks with bees, has a helmet that looks like a bee, and her name is Bea.
    • Some of her skins change her animal motifs to other creatures, these being ladybugs, beetles, and even cats.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: Pretty much the most reliable strategy if Bea manages to hit a Brawler with her Super, as they'll be slowed down for a notable amount of time that will allow her to spam her shots and annihilate them before the slow even dissipates.
  • Attack Drone: She uses bee-shaped drones to snipe opponents, which become noticeably more powerful if she manages to connect them in a row.
  • Battle Cry: One of the few Brawlers to have lines tied to her main attack, all of which are a variation of her yelling "Ha!"
  • Bee Afraid: Not exactly, but close enough, since she uses bee-shaped drones to attack, as well as honey.
  • Beetle Maniac: Her Mega Beetle skin replaces her bee motif with a beetle-themed one instead.
  • Charged Attack: Her main gimmick. Hitting an enemy with Big Sting will deal very low damage, but it'll also supercharge her next shot to deal devastating damage to the next target.
  • Damage Reduction: Her Honeycomb Star Power gives Bea a temporal shield as long as she holds onto her supercharged drone. Useful for tanking a few more shoots if Bea is under enemy fire and she needs a reliable way to stay alive that doesn't involve defeating her opponents.
  • Drone Deployer: Her backpack appears to be this, as that's where her bee drones come out of when she reloads.
  • Evil Costume Switch: Both her Archvillain and Mega Beetle skins are centered around being villains.
  • Expressive Accessory: Bea's helmet changes expressions in various of her pins, matching her expressions.
  • Friend to Bugs: Despite her primary focus being on bees, she's been stated to love all kind of bugs as a whole.
  • Friendly Sniper: Bea is a long-ranged cheerful Brawler specialized in 1v1 combat, as her attacks don't pierce or deal Splash Damage.
  • Genki Girl: Easily one of the most cheerful and excitable Brawlers in the game.
  • Glass Cannon: Can take down almost all Brawlers within two or three shots, even ones a few levels higher than her. However, her health is on the short side, so if she gets jumped, she's done for.
  • Hard Light: Both her wings and her bees appear to be made of this in her Byte skin, appearing as holographic entities that can still make her fly and damage enemies.
  • Inkblot Cartoon Style: Her Archvillain skin invokes this; when wearing it she's Deliberately Monochrome, Pie-Eyed, and is wearing White Gloves.
  • Maneki Neko: The inspiration for her Neko and Gold Neko skins. Their winning animation even has Bea moving her paw as if she were one.
  • Older Than She Looks: Despite her childish appearance, Word of God has confirmed she's in her early 20s.
  • One Bullet at a Time: She only has one reload bar; therefore, she can only release one drone at the time.
  • The Paralyzer: Her Super slows down enemies for three seconds if they're hit by any of the bees, allowing Bea to quickly defeat them with her supercharged drones.
  • Pungeon Master: Expect most of her voice lines to bee bee-related somehow.
    "Hive-five!"
    "Can you bee more annoying?"
  • Punny Name: Bea's Animal Motifs is the bee. Her name is even pronounced as bee.
  • Reverse Shrapnel: Her Rattled Hive Gadget releases four bee drones that circle outwards from her to damage enemies.
  • Situational Damage Attack: The bees launched by her Rattled Hive Gadget deal varying damage depending on how long they travel before hitting an enemy.
  • Spam Attack: Thanks to her very fast reload speed and her shots travelling relatively quick, Bea can comfortably stay in one place and repeatedly spam the attack button to rapidly rack up damage if enemies happen to be in her range, making her pretty much unapproachable by close-range Brawlers who don't have a cover or a Super to get near her.
  • Stealth Pun: Her bees are drones; as in, the male bees that stay in the hive, impregnate the queen, and then die.
  • Sticky Situation: Her Honey Molasses Gadget sets a honey trap that slows down Brawlers caught in a circular area around it.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Her capturing Eve in the latter's introduction video is the reason why the Biodome became a Garden of Evil after Eve escaped.
  • Youthful Freckles: Signifying her cheerful nature.

    Belle

Release Date: 12/04/2021
Voiced by: Elizabeth Dean
Alternate Skins: Goldhand Belle, Ivy Belle, Coral Belle, True Silver/Gold Belle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/belle_bs_full_body.png
"First we shoot, and then we loot."
The leader of the notorious Goldarm Gang, Belle is after more than money. She wants to find out the truth behind Starr Park and bring it down!

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Goldarm Gang trio along with Sam and Pearl. Belle is the leader of the aforementioned Goldarm Gang, a band of thieves specialized in robbing banks over The Wild West.

Belle is a sniper specialized in forcing enemies to split apart and isolate targets for her or her teammates to take advantage of, while at the same time functioning as a counter to any Brawler who relies on turrets or spawnables to protect themselves from harm.

  • Her Attack, Shocker, is a long range Electro-Bolt that bounces between up to 3 enemies near each other, although a wall or spawn shields can easily block bounces. Each bolt has a 1-second delay when it sticks to the target before it bounces, with said bounces dealing half the damage and Super charge of the initial shot.
  • Her Super, Spotter, fires a spotting marker that increases any damage dealt by 35% to the victim until they’re defeated or when she uses her Super on another target. This marker stacks with other damage buffs except for other spotting markers.
  • Her first Gadget, Nest Egg, deploys an invisible trap that, upon being triggered, immediately deals 30% the damage of her main attack to any target near it and slows them down for 3 seconds.
  • Her second Gadget, Reverse Polarity, allows her next main attack to bounce off walls, gaining additional range with each bounce.
  • Her first Star Power, Positive Feedback, grants Belle a 20% shield for 3 seconds whenever her main attack or its bounces hit a target. The bonus does not stack, but the duration can be reset by hitting multiple targets.
  • Her second Star Power, Grounded, prevents the target from reloading for 5 seconds when hit by Belle’s Super.
  • Her Hypercharge, Magnetic, makes Belle's Super home onto the nearest enemy, pretty much guaranteeing she'll hit someone with it. She also gains 25% more damage, 26% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Her Coral skin shoots medusae instead of bolts of electricity.
  • Action Mom: She's stated to have a son (although their relationship doesn't seem to be a positive one), and she's a powerful fighter.
    "Mom never misses."
  • Added Alliterative Appeal: In one of her leading quotes.
    "Nothing beats a well-welding welder's weld!"
  • Apparently Human Merfolk: Her Coral skin is part of the Deep Sea Brawl skin set (shared with Sharktooth Colt and Octo Fang), all of which are humans who have been shown breathing underwater in promotional material.
  • Artificial Limbs: She sports a prosthetic made out of solid gold where her right arm used to be, although it's unknown what happened to it in the first place.
  • Badass Cape: Gets one in her Coral skin.
  • Benevolent Boss: She seems to care about her gang a lot, with nothing implying she's abusive towards them.
  • Bling of War: Her Goldhand skin puts her in a fancy suit, makes her rifle gold, and gives her a High-Class Glass.
  • Chain Lightning: She attacks using bolts of electricity that bounce up to 3 times between enemies if they don't scatter. The bolts can even bounce between spawnables and the Heist safe.
  • Cold Ham: Belle is always talking in a low, almost monotone voice, but this doesn't prevent her from having some grandiose way of speaking.
  • Cold Sniper: Belle has one of the longest ranges in the game, but since her attack only shots one shot, she's best suited to fight lone Brawlers 1 vs. 1 as a sniper. Thankfully, her mechanics make it easy to force enemies to split apart.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: Her super allows her to "spot" an enemy, making them take extra damage from all sources until they're defeated or Belle decides to mark another opponent.
  • Damage Reduction: Her Positive Feedback Star Power grants her a temporary shield whenever her attack hits an enemy.
  • Evil Cripple: Sports a prosthetic arm and is the evil leader of a gang.
  • Evil Laugh: Some of her voice lines have her laughing, and they're not friendly in any way.
  • Evil Matriarch: She apparently has a son whom she's not in good terms with, often mocking him during her voice lines. And of course, she's also the leader of a bank-robbing gang.
"This is for you, son... Ha! Just kiddin'!"
  • Evil Old Folks: She's a senior who also happens to be the leader of the Goldarm Gang, a band of thieves who rob banks over The Wild West.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Both her Electro-Rifle and Sam's Knuckle Busters were apparently designed and engineered by her. She's even referred as being the brains behind the Goldarm Gang.
  • Glass Cannon: Belle can deal tons of damage thanks to her bouncing shots and Super increasing the amount of health she can shave off enemy Brawlers, but it seems like age hasn't been too kind on her, as she has very low HP.
  • Green Thumb: Her Ivy skin replaces her main attack's projectiles and Super with flowers and a thorny vine, respectively.
  • Handicapped Badass: She lacks one arm, but manages to be a successful gang leader and powerful Brawler.
  • Happily Married: She is married to Sam, who appears to love her very much.
  • Hero of Another Story: If her description is anything to go by, Belle seems to be aware of the true nature of Starr Park, and is currently attempting to bring the place down by herself.
  • Homing Projectile: Her Hypercharge will make Belle's Super home onto enemies, similarly to Piper's Homemade Recipe Gadget. Sufficiently fast enemies can still avoid being hit, however.
  • In the Hood: Her Coral skin gives her a hoodie with pieces of coral resembling horns protruding from it.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: She is named after famous American outlaw Belle Starr.
  • Never Mess with Granny: She's an old woman, some of her voice lines imply she has kids, and she's a powerful Brawler.
  • Outlaw Couple: Forms one with Sam, her second-in-command in the Goldarm Gang.
  • Pinball Projectile: Her Reverse Polarity Gadget makes her next attack shoot a bolt that can bounce off walls multiple times, allowing her to snipe opponents trying to flee or hide behind cover.
  • Plant Person: Her Ivy skin changes her goggles and clothes to resemble flowers, her golden arm with a spiny plant, and her Electro-Rifle to one made of wood, vines, and a rosebud.
  • Power Nullifier: With her Grounded Star Power, Belle can prevent enemy Brawlers from reloading during 5 seconds. They can still unload the ammo they had saved up however.
  • The Queenpin: Belle is the leader of the Goldarm Gang, a dangerous gang that terrorizes The Wild West.
  • Sean Connery Is About to Shoot You: Does so in the winning animation of both her Goldhand and Coral skins.
  • Shock and Awe: She mainly attacks shooting electricity that can transfer between enemies.
  • Spontaneous Weapon Creation: The winning animation of her Ivy skin shows Belle summoning her rifle by making it grow from the ground as if it were a plant.
  • Trap Master: Her Nest Egg Gadget has her deploy an invisible trap that deals 30% of the damage of her main attack and slows down whoever steps on it.
  • Useless Useful Spell: Her Grounded Star Power is not very good. Not only is Positive Feedback much better to have due to it notably increasing Belle's survivability as long as she can keep hitting her shots, but in the majority of the cases Grounded will see no utility due to enemies still being able to unload their saved ammo onto Belle (which, given her low health, will often be enough to defeat her) or simply retreat until the effect ends. Even in the rare cases where she manages to land her Super onto an opponent with no ammo, Belle will still have to make sure to defeat them before the effect ends for it to be worth it which, again, can make it difficult if the enemy simply decides to retreat.
  • Villainous Gold Tooth: She sports a gold tooth and is the leader of the Goldarm Gang, a band of thieves specialized in robbing banks all throughout The Wild West.
  • Wrecked Weapon: In the defeat animation of her Ivy skin, Belle's plant gun withers and becomes unusable, much to her frustration.
  • You Can Run, but You Can't Hide: She says this word-by-word as one of her possible lines when unloading her Super.

    Bonnie

Release Date: 05/06/2022
Voiced by: Bindy Coda
Alternate Skins: Empress Bonnie, Unicorn Bonnie, Footbonnie, True Silver/Gold Bonnie

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bonnie_bs_full_body.png
"Young and reckless coming through!"
Bonnie is a bundle of uncontrollable and totally destructive energy. Her dream is to be fired from her cannon, all the way to the moon!

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Stuntshow trio along with Stu and Janet. She's a young, hyperactive daredevil who performs at Starr Park's Stuntshow with the help of her cannon Clyde, which she also uses as a weapon in battle.

Bonnie is a Stance System Brawler who can shift between a slow but tanky Marksman form or a fast and squishy Assassin form depending on whether her Super is active or not.

  • Her Attack in her Cannon Form, Loose Tooth, has Bonnie fire a large tooth from her cannon at a very fast speed, though she can only shoot one at the time due to possessing a single ammo bar.
  • Her Super in her Cannon Form, Star Launcher, blasts Bonnie away from her cannon in a desired direction, dealing damage around the landing zone and changing Bonnie into her Non-Cannon Form. In this form, Bonnie is faster and deals more damage than when riding Clyde, but has low health and her reload speed is considerably slower.
  • Her Attack in her Non-Cannon Form, Bomber Jacket, throws three fast grenades in a small spread from left to right, dealing Splash Damage in a minuscule radius around the explosions. Hitting an enemy with these won't charge her Super.
  • Her Super in her Non-Cannon Form, Clyde, charges automatically 16.7 seconds after Bonnie exits her Cannon Form, and simply allows her to return to said form after a half-second delay.
  • Her first Gadget, Sugar Rush, boosts the movement and reload speed of her Cannon Form by 30% for 5 seconds.
  • Her second Gadget, Crash Test, makes Bonnie dash in the direction she's currently facing, dealing double the damage of one of her grenades to enemies and knocking them back. This Gadget can only be used in Bonnie's Non-Cannon Form.
  • Her first Star Power, Black Powder, increases the range of her Cannon Form's Super by by 36%.
  • Her second Star Power, Wisdom Tooth, makes her Cannon Form's Attack split into four smaller projectiles in a cross pattern, dealing 25% of the attack's standard damage to enemies hit by them.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Instead of cannonballs, her cannon shoots teeth. Don't even ask where they come from.
  • Attack Speed Buff: Since Bonnie is always limited to One Bullet at a Time, her Sugar Rush Gadget's reload speed reduction functionally boosts her attack rate as well.
  • Boring, but Practical: Her Black Powder Star Power simply increases the range Bonnie can reach when shot out of her cannon. Extremely mundane, yet undoubtedly useful for hunting enemies from across the map or reliably escaping from danger.
  • I Call It "Vera": Her cannon is named Clyde.
  • Childish Tooth Gap: She lacks a front tooth, and is possibly the youngest Brawler out of the entire roster.
  • Cool Helmet: As part of the stunt show/Human Cannonball attire, Bonnie sports a helmet that strongly resembles the ones used by the rest of her family.
  • Cooldown Manipulation: Apart from increasing its movement speed, her Sugar Rush Gadget also decreases Clyde's reload speed, to the point it can spam a barrage of teeth to the enemy for its duration.
  • Cute Oversized Sleeves: Most likely since there weren't Human Cannonball outfits made for toddlers, Bonnie uses one a few sizes too big for her, which leaves her sleeves hanging.
  • Dash Attack: Her Crash Test Gadget allows Bonnie to dash forward if she's outside of her cannon, dealing damage and knocking back enemies she collides with.
  • Enfant Terrible: Becomes a Galactic Conqueror in her Empress skin, changing all but her age.
  • Evil Costume Switch: In her Empress skin, Bonnie gets a darker color palette, a menacing attire, and her eyes become red.
  • Face Plant: Happens in her defeat animation after Clyde malfunctions and shoots Bonnie incorrectly.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: She's the Foolish to Janet's Responsible Sibling, being a reckless daredevil who Janet always has to be looking for to prevent Bonnie from injuring herself with her stunts.
  • Football Hooligans: In her Footbonnie skin, where she even uses a soccer ball instead of a helmet.
  • Fragile Speedster: Bonnie is one of the fastest Brawlers in the game outside of her cannon, but her health is almost half of what she has while inside Clyde as a trade off.
  • Galactic Conqueror: The theme of her Empress skin. Coincidentally, the skin set it belongs to is stated to be the main enemy faction of the Starr Force.
  • Genki Girl: Between her No Indoor Voice, excitable voicelines, and overall cheerfulness, Bonnie is definitely one of the genkiest Brawlers in the game.
  • Glass Cannon: She has massive burst damage in her Non-Cannon form, capable of shredding squishy Brawlers between her landing damage and the grenades from her main attack. However, her defenses are paper-thin, so if her objective happens to survive, they'll most likely take out Bonnie in retaliation.
  • Grenade Spam: Outside of her cannon, Bonnie attacks by throwing three grenades with a slight spread in front of her, accounting for nine grenades the enemy has to withstand if she quickly unloads all her ammo on them. Unless the enemy has lots of HP or some form of Damage Reduction applied, they'll be blown to bits.
  • Human Cannonball: She performs in Starr Park's Stunt Show by launching herself out of her cannon. She can also do this in battle, dealing damage to anything standing in Bonnie's landing zone.
  • Mighty Glacier: Her Cannon form has below average speed, but is very tanky and can rack up a lot of damage from afar with its fast projectile speed.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Her and her cannon are named after the famous criminal couple Bonnie and Clyde.
  • Nitro Boost: Her Sugar Rush Gadget increases the speed of Bonnie's cannon form by 30%, making it very hard for enemy Brawlers to escape from its range without a naturally fast speed or cover.
  • No Indoor Voice: She's got a pretty loud voice for a small kid, and most of her voicelines have her yelling in an excited manner.
  • Nothing Up My Sleeve: Hidden up those long sleeves are her arsenal of grenades.
  • One Bullet at a Time: Bonnie's Cannon form possesses a single ammo bar, meaning she can only shoot one tooth at the time.
  • Raised by Robots: She and her sister Janet were raised by the robotic Stu. Whatever happened to their real parents has never been stated.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Her Empress skin shows her with black eyes containing glowing red pupils.
  • Single Tear: Sheds this in her default and Empress skin's losing animations.
  • Spread Shot: Her Wisdom Tooth Star Power makes the projectiles from her Cannon form split in a cross pattern around the impact area, hitting enemies adjacent to the objective as well.
  • Stance System: Bonnie's main gimmick is the ability to change between combat styles with her Super, with her Cannon Form being a Mighty Glacier Long Range Combatant and her Non-Cannon Form, a squishy but speedy Close-Range Combatant.
  • Thrill Seeker: She enjoys being a Brawler and a Human Cannonball for this very reason, if her lines are anything to go by.
    "Did someone say danger?"
    "Adrenaline rush!"
  • The Tooth Hurts: She loses a tooth in her defeat animation after Face Planting onto the floor.
  • Unicorn: Theme of her Unicorn skin, which remodels Clyde and Bonnie with pastel pink colors and gives her helmet an unicorn horn.
  • Useless Useful Spell: Her Wisdom Tooth Star Power. The idea behind it is that it allows Bonnie to damage more than one enemy at once with her cannon's attacks, but there are a few problems with it. First, the area in which the Spread Shot travels to is absolutely minuscule, meaning that unless the enemy team is literally atop of each other, they won't receive any damage from the split. Second, the spread attack damage is very low as well, so any Brawler with enough HP will be able to shrug it off without even thinking about it. And finally, using Wisdom Tooth means that Bonnie has to forego Black Powder, which is generally agreed to provide more utility.

    Brock

Release Date: 15/06/2017 (Original)
Voiced by: Scott William
Alternate Skins: Beach Brock, Boom Box Brock, Lion Dance Brock, Hot Rod Brock, Super Ranger Brock/Ranger Brock (Black, Blue, Pink, Red, and Yellow), Old School Brock, Postal Brock, ZomBrock, Zeus Brock, Rocket Brown, Hacker Brock (Normal, Master, and RBG), True Silver/Gold Brock

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brock_bs_full_body.png
"The box goes BOOM!"
Brock is a smack-talking video game enthusiast. His big attitude hides a more introverted personality, but he'll still do whatever it takes to win!

A Rare Brawler, and part of the Arcade Trio along with Rico and 8-Bit. He's a highly-confident playboy who wields a powerful rocket launcher capable of setting the ground on fire, acting as a sniper specialized in dealing Splash Damage and deterring enemies from advancing in groups.

  • His Attack, Rockin' Rocket, is a rocket that deals Splash Damage in a small radius upon colliding with a target or a wall, and will also set the spot it explodes onto on fire for 2 seconds, dealing damage to enemies who step on it.
  • His Super, Rocket Rain, is a rain of 9 rockets that can destroy cover and bushes around the explosion of each one, though they don't set the ground on fire like his normal attack.
  • His first Gadget, Rocket Laces, lets Brock do a jump capable of vaulting over walls, damaging enemies in a radius around him for 25% of his main attack damage and knocking them back.
  • His second Gadget, Rocket Fuel, charges a special rocket that is 50% bigger and 15% faster than his normal attack, and can also break walls and bushes around the explosion area. The damage of this Gadget won't be any different from his main attack.
  • His first Star Power, More Rockets!, increases the amount of rockets fired from his Super by 44%, going from 9 to 13 rockets. This Star Power affects Brock's Hypercharged Super.
  • His second Star Power, Rocket No. Four, allows Brock to have four ammo bars instead of the usual three (and also discards the thermos bottle stored in his rocket launcher).
  • His Hypercharge, Rocket Barrage, makes his Super fire 4 waves of 7 rockets that land in a more focused area. These rockets are individually weaker than the ones fired by his regular Super, but will deal slightly more damage overall if all of them connect onto a target. He also gains 25% more damage, 26% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • '50s Hair: Sports one big pompadour in his Hot Rod skin, which is part of the Retropolis skin set.
  • Abnormal Ammo:
    • His Beach skin replaces his fiery rockets with ones full of water instead. They still hurt as much as the regular ones though.
    • His Hacker skin replaces his rocket launcher with a computer that shoots flash drives.
  • All Your Powers Combined: Implied. When using his Super in his Ranger skin, small versions of the skin's other four colors will appear and dance around Brock, implying they're giving their powers to him.
  • Asian Lion Dogs: The theme of his Lion Dance skin, which makes Brock's rocket launcher resemble one of these.
  • Beach Episode: In his Beach skin, where Brock sports a pair of beach shorts, a towel, and his rocket launcher shoots rockets full of water.
  • Big, Bulky Bomb: His Rocket Fuel Gadget lets Brock fire a rocket that is "bigger, badder, faster and destroys walls".
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Brock seems to be aware he's inside of a videogame, blaming having lag or being nerfed when defeated.
  • Buffy Speak: Many of Brock's lines refer to a "boombox", and though his Boom Box skin does turn his weapon into a literal one, it is actually just what he calls his rocket launcher, since it's shaped like a box and makes things go boom.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Brock may yell "Rocket Rain!" when using his Super.
  • Cool Shades: His standard appearance has a pair, though he's rarely seen with them. His Old School, Lion Dance, Hot Rod, Super Ranger, and Zeus skins always are shown wearing them.
  • Electric Black Guy: In his Zeus skin, where Brock's attacks become thunder-based.
  • Facepalm: All his defeat animations except for his Postal and Zeus skins have him facepalming while shaking his head.
  • Fatal Fireworks: His rockets explode into fireworks in his Lion Dance skin.
  • Flying on a Cloud: In the victory animation of his Zeus skin, Brock descends from the sky riding his cloud before jumping off it.
  • The Friends Who Never Hang: Despite the fact he, 8-Bit, and Rico are part of the same trio, they're almost never seen interacting with each other in promotional material, if at all.
  • Glass Cannon: His rockets deal tons of Splash Damage in the impact radius around them, and anything caught in the middle of his Super is guaranteed to be disintegrated in a barrage of explosives rained upon them. However, he has very low health.
  • God of Thunder: In his Zeus skin.
  • Happy Dance: His Boom Box, Lion Dance, and Old School skins have him dancing during their victory animations.
  • Hip-Hop: His Boom Box skin takes inspiration from this culture, dressing him in a baseball cap and a golden chain with the letter "B" on it.
  • Incendiary Exponent: His regular rockets can set the floor on fire for two seconds, damaging any enemies walking over it. Curiously enough, they don't set the enemy on fire like other fire-based attacks such as Stu's dash or Amber's oil puddles.
  • It's All About Me: Most of his voicelines are bragging about him or his skills, even the ones for his defeat.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: His Super lets him fire a volley of rockets in a large radius around it. Unless the enemy has a lot of HP or they manage to get away from the explosion area, they'll most likely not survive the onslaught.
  • Making a Splash: In his Beach skin, Brock shots rockets full of water instead of fire.
  • Manly Facial Hair: Apart from the sideburns he normally has, his Hot Rod skin gives him a mustache and both his Old School and Zeus skin sport full beards
  • More Dakka: His More Rockets! Star Power lets Brock fire 14 rockets from his Super instead of only 9, making the explosion area even more deadly.
  • Mundane Utility: He uses the fourth barrel of his rocket launcher to store his thermos bottle. His Rocket No. Four Star Power has him discarding it in favor of another rocket.
  • The One Guy: Ironically, Brock was the only male Marksman when the Sharpshooter class was first reintroduced and renamed to "marksman", and remained that way until Angelo was added over a year later. Previous male Sharpshooters have either stayed as Damage Dealers or moved to being Controllers.
  • One-Way Visor: Gains one in both his Ranger and Hacker skin.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: Becomes a purple-skinned zombie in his ZomBrock skin, which uses a coffin to shoot rockets.
  • Painfully Slow Projectile: One particular weakness Brock has is that, in comparison to every other sniper in the game, his rockets travel quite slowly, making it hard for him to auto-aim and hit speedy Brawlers with them. However, he makes up for it with the explosion from his rockets technically giving them extra range and the fire they leave behind limiting enemy movement.
  • Personal Raincloud: In the defeat animation of his Zeus skin, Brock's thundercloud will start raining upon him while he sits on the ground with a defeated expression.
  • Playful Hacker: Becomes one in his aptly named Hacker skin.
  • Punny Name: Brock uses rockets to attack.
  • Retraux: His Old School skin gives Brock a makeover based on his design from the beta.
  • Rocket Jump: His Rocket Laces Gadget creates an explosion which propels him up and knocks back enemies around him.
  • Sentai: His Super Ranger skin dresses him like a Blue Power Ranger.
  • Shock and Awe: In his Zeus skin, Brock uses a thundercloud that shoots lightning bolts in place of rockets, with the "explosion" and fire they produce making it look like a thunder is impacting the ground.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Situational Sociability: According to his description, he acts more introverted when he's not boasting about his great videogame skills.
  • Unstoppable Mailman: Becomes one in his Postal skin, which replaces his rocket launcher with a parcel that shoots rockets wrapped in package.

    Janet

Release Date: 02/05/2022
Voiced by: Sam Slade
Alternate Skins: Valkyrie Janet, G-Force Janet, Popstar Janet, Dark Fairy Janet, Lunar Janet, True Silver/Gold Janet

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/janet_bs_full_body.png
"Seems unfair, since I'm rocket-powered!"
Janet will do whatever it takes to reach the top! As a bonus, her performing skills come in handy for rescuing her sister Bonnie, whenever she gets into trouble.

A Mythic Brawler, and part of the Stuntshow trio along with Stu and Bonnie. Janet is a singer and performer in Starr Park's Stuntshow, flying around in a rocket pack as her main act.

Janet is a Brawler who possess noticeably less range than most other Marksmen in the game, but makes up for it with her slipperiness, above average defenses for a sniper, and the possibility to increase the unload speed of her main attack at close range, giving her far more survivability than the average long-range Brawler.

  • Her Attack, High Note, is a piercing musical shockwave that, depending on how long the player holds the attack button, becomes less wide but gains more range over time, becoming twice as long at max range. This also allows Janet to spam her attack at close range if the situation calls for it.
  • Her Super, Crescendo, makes Janet fly and become invincible for 7 seconds, dropping damaging bombs below her every second and giving her the ability to bypass any obstacle. During her Super's duration, Janet cannot heal or reload until she lands.
  • Her first Gadget, Drop the Bass, deploys a loudspeaker that deals damage roughly equal to 9.6% of Janet's main attack in a wide radius around it every second. The loudspeaker has 1000 health and decays 100 health per second, lasting up to 10 seconds if it doesn't take any damage.
  • Her second Gadget, Backstage Pass, makes Janet's next attack push her back, even over obstacles. The distance and air time depends on how much Janet has charged her attack.
  • Her first Star Power, Stage View, reveals a very large area of bushes around Janet while her Super is active.
  • Her second Star Power, Vocal Warm-Up, allows Janet to charge her main attack 30% faster, reaching max range quicker.

  • Ace Pilot: Becomes one in her G-Force skin, which gives her a combatant attire and adds plane wings to her jet pack.
  • Boring, but Practical: Her Vocal Warm-Up Star Power simply allows Janet to charge her main attack a little bit faster. It might not look like a very big or noticeable change, but in battle, it can allow her to snipe opponents that she wouldn't been able to otherwise.
  • Charged Attack: A variation. Her main attack can be charged not to deal more damage, but rather gain more range.
  • Clip Its Wings: Her wings fall off in the defeat animation of her Valkyrie and Dark Fairy skins.
  • Compressed Hair: In the few promotional images where Janet appears without her helmet, it's shown that her hair is far more bulky than her helmet allows it to be seen.
  • Cool Big Sis: She's Bonnie's big sister, who seems to love Janet a lot and even mention her a few time in her own voice lines.
  • Cool Helmet: As with other members of her family, she sports a helmet as part of her stuntshow attire.
  • Cool Sword: Her Valkyrie skin replaces her microphone with a sword.
  • Cute Monster Girl: In her Dark Fairy skin, where Janet becomes a cross between a blue-skinned human and a moth.
  • Damage Over Time: Her Drops the Bass Gadget places a speaker that damages every enemy around it every second until it's destroyed.
  • Death from Above: When using her Super, Janet flies above the battlefield while dropping bombs below her, damaging anyone caught in their path.
  • Dungeon Bypass: A Janet with her Super can potentially fly over the entire map without any issue, letting her reach objectives faster than other Brawlers without having to worry about damage or traps in the way.
  • Face Plant: Her defeat animation has her jet pack malfunction, dropping her face-first onto the floor. This is replaced with her wings falling over in her Valkyrie skin, making Janet attempt to fly by flailing her arms but ultimately falling and hitting her face again.
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: Her Popstar skin has a glove on only her left hand, her skirt is open on the left side, and her left legging is longer than her right.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: She's the Responsible to Bonnie's Foolish Sibling, being the big, more mature sister who always has to be taking care of Bonnie to prevent her for injuring herself with her recklessness.
  • Feather Flechettes: In her Valkyrie skin, she attacks tossing gold feathers instead of musical waves, though this is purely cosmetic.
  • Flight: Her main gimmick, courtesy of her Super allowing her to fly over the entire battlefield.
  • Idol Singer: Apart from serving as a singer in Starr Park's stunt show, her Popstar skin outright turns her into a teenage idol, serving as the lead singer of the Good Randoms.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Apart from the microphone she uses in her standard design, her Dark Fairy skin has her using a modified cocoon that serves as a gun. Her Popstar skin also replaces the bombs from her Super with disco balls.
  • In a Single Bound: Her Backstage Pass Gadget lets Janet use her main attack to proper herself backwards, potentially even over obstacles.
  • Invulnerable Attack: Apart from status effects such as burns or poison and the toxic clouds from Showdown and Knockout, Janet is completely invulnerable to direct damage while using her Super. This comes in handy in game modes such as Gem Grab or Bounty, where surviving the last few seconds of the match can mean the difference between win or defeat.
  • Jack of All Stats: Balanced damage and health, average speed while not flying around.
  • Jet Pack: How Janet flies around, though it gets replaced with wings in her Valkyrie and Dark Fairy skins.
  • Knee Fold Fall of Defeat: Does so in the defeat animation of her Lunar skin after tossing her magic wand onto the ground.
  • Lunacy: Her attacks become moon-themed in her Lunar skin, shooting crescent moons out of her magic wand and dropping bombs that depict images of the moon in her Super.
  • No Indoor Voice: Much like her little sister Bonnie, most of Janet's voicelines have her yelling or speaking in a pretty loud tone. Probably justified, as she's a singer.
  • Magic Idol Singer: Becomes one in her Lunar skin, turning into a Magical Girl but retaining her Idol Singer persona.
  • Magic Wand: Her microphone turns into a moon-themed wand in her Lunar skin.
  • Magical Girl: Her Lunar skin draws inspiration from these, up to being a huge Shout-Out to Sailor Moon.
  • Moon Rabbit: Her jet pack takes the appearance of a rabbit in her Lunar skin.
  • Moth Menace: In her Dark Fairy skin, Janet takes the appearance of a moth, even gaining a pair of sinister-looking wings as a result.
  • Mundane Utility: Her performing skills come in handy when it comes to getting Bonnie out of trouble, if her description if anything to go by.
  • Musical Assassin: Janet attacks using musical waves from her microphone, which can reach farther the longer she holds the attack button. Her Drop the Bass Gadget also summons a speaker capable of damaging enemies with its sound waves.
  • Our Fairies Are Different: Her Dark Fairy skin turns Janet into a Moth Menace who attacks with a cocoon gun.
  • Paparazzi: In the defeat animation of her Popstar skin, a bunch of off-screen paparazzi start taking photos of Janet, who angrily tosses her microphone at them to make them stop.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She's one of the most girly and feminine Brawlers in the game, and her Lunar skin, which turns her into a Magical Girl, is primarily pink-colored.
  • Proper Tights with a Skirt: In her Lunar skin.
  • Punny Name: Janet flies around in a jetpack.
  • Raised by Robots: She and her sister Bonnie were raised by the robotic Stu. Whatever happened to their real parents has never been stated.
  • Shout-Out: Her Lunar skin is one to Sailor Moon, becoming a moon-themed Magical Girl who does a super-heroine pose in her victory animation. She even gains ribbons on her helmet that bring Usagi Tsukino's hair to mind.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes Gets them in her Dark Fairy skin.
  • Sword Beam: Her attack, which is long-ranged as usual, comes out of her sword in her Valkyrie skin.
  • V-Sign: Does one in the winning animation of her Lunar skin, complete with a Magical Girl pose.
  • Valkyries: Turns into one in her aptly named Valkyrie skin.
  • Winged Humanoid: The Valkyrie and Dark Fairy skins give Janet wings instead of a jet pack to fly around.

    Maisie

Release Date: 01/05/2023
Voiced by: Simone Annan
Alternate Skins: Jungle Queen Maisie, Tech Maisie, Marauder Maisie, True Silver/Gold Maisie

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maisie_bs_full_body.png
"Watch out! That's a fire hazard!"
Maisie works as a safety coordinator, but deep down she enjoys dangerous situations. Sometimes, it almost feels like she has a hand in creating them.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Cinema trio along with Fang and Buster. She is the safety assistant at the Starr Park cinema who's always making sure nothing goes wrong during Brawylwood's movie productions, specially if Fang and Buster are involved on them.

Maisie is a sniper suited for long-ranged combat due to her projectiles becoming harder to avoid the longer they travel in the air, possessing tools to reliably escape from opponents who manage to close the gap and get near her face.

  • Her Attack, Pressure Rocket, shoots a long-ranged, cloud-like projectile that gains speed the further it travels before hitting an enemy. This attack will always deal the same amount of damage no matter its speed.
  • Her Super, Shockwave, creates a shockwave in a large radius around Maisie after a short windup, damaging and pushing away all enemies caught in it. This Super can reach through walls, and Maisie can move during the short windup before the shockwave occurs.
  • Her first Gadget, Disengage!, pushes Maisie forward with an explosion that, should an enemy be caught in it, will stun them for half a second. Maisie can't be pushed over walls or water with this Gadget.
  • Her second Gadget, Finish Them!, will instantly reload one of Maisie's ammo bars and increase the damage of her next attack by 30% of the enemy's missing health. The Gadget's effect won't work on immobile targets like Heist safes.
  • Her first Star Power, Pinpoint Precision, increases the damage of Maisie's main attack by 20% if an enemy is hit at max distance.
  • Her second Star Power, Tremors, slows down enemies caught in her Super for 2 seconds.
  • Her Hypercharge, Aftermath, will shoot six of her basic attack projectiles in a hexagonal pattern around Maisie whenever she uses her Super, potentially dealing massive damage at point blank. She also gains 25% more damage, 26% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • Arm Cannon: Sports a mechanical arm which shoots out a projectile that increases its speed the further it travels.
  • Artificial Limbs: She's got a cannon where her right arm used to be, which she also uses as her weapon.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: She works in a cinema, and her hair is designed to resemble a piece of popcorn.
  • Big "NO!": One of her losing voice lines.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Her description implies that she actually enjoys it when accidents happen and that she may be partially responsible for some of the park's accidents.
  • Bridal Carry: She carries Buster this way while rescuing him in "The Rescue" animation.
  • Closer to Earth: She's one of the most level-headed Brawlers in the whole game, lacking any particular quirks like most others and generally behaving calmer than them.
  • Cool Big Sis: While not biologically related, Maisie is this for Fang and Buster, always taking care of them and making sure they don't hurt each other too much with their pranks.
  • Delinquent Hair: Her hair becomes a neon green mohawk in her Marauder skin, which wouldn't look out of place in a Mad Max film.
  • Desert Bandits: Her Marauder skin gives her a stereotypical, apunkalyptic desert-dwelling look.
  • Explosion Propulsion: Her Disengage! Gadget allows Maisie to do this, serving as a Dash Attack that propels Maisie forward and stuns any enemy caught in her blast as she does so. Her introduction video also shows her doing this to pull out a fire inside the theater.
  • Goggles Do Nothing: Sports a pair of goggles on her forehead in her Marauder skin.
  • Handicapped Badass: Maisie lacks a right arm, which she has replaced with an Arm Cannon that serves both as a tool and as a weapon.
  • Jack of All Stats: She's got decent HP for a sniper, while her attacks deal average damage.
  • Jungle Princess: Her Jungle Queen skin turns her into one, gaining a more tribal attire and her arm cannon becoming a golden snake.
  • Mundane Utility: As her introductory animation shows, Maisie's Arm Cannon can be used to pull out fires.
  • Only Sane Woman: Of the Cinema trio. While Fang and Buster seem to care more about playing pranks on each other than working properly, Maisie is there to make sure everything runs smoothly in the cinema and prevent them from destroying the building with their antics.
  • The Paralyzer: Her Tremors Star Power allows Maisie to slow down enemies caught in her Super for 2 seconds, making them easy to kill.
  • Percent Damage Attack: Her Finish Them! Gadget increases the damage of her next attack by 30% of the enemy's missing health. Particularly useful for finishing off weakened high-HP Brawlers such as Tanks.
  • The Reliable One: As mentioned in Only Sane Woman above, Maisie is this for the Cinema trio, always being there for her friends to get them out of trouble.
  • Rocket Punch: In her Marauder skin, Maisie shoots her own robotic arm as her main attack's projectile.
  • Sand Blaster: The shockwave from her Super is made of sand in her Marauder skin.
  • Sassy Black Woman: She is dark-skinned and has the accent nailed down to a T.
  • Shockwave Stomp: Minus the stomp part, Maisie's Super has her creating a massive shockwave around her after a short delay, damaging everything caught in it and knocking enemies back.
  • Shout-Out: One of her possible defeat quotes is "What am I fighting for?"
  • Situational Damage Attack: If she has the Pinpoint Precision Star Power, Maisie's main attack will deal 20% extra damage if enemies are hit at max distance.
  • Thrill Seeker: Despite her working as a safety coordinator, she seems to enjoy the dangerous situations she often deals with... to the point it's believed she has something to do with them.
  • Turned Against Their Masters: In the defeat animation of her Marauder skin, Maisie's mechanical arm gets out of control and starts attacking her, which ends in it hitting her in the head before turning off.

    Mandy

Release Date: 02/01/2023
Voiced by: Nola Klop
Alternate Skins: Magma Mandy, MC Mandy, Hanbok Mandy, True Silver/Gold Mandy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mandy_bs_full_body.png
"Sweet and sour, taste my power!"
Mandy runs a candy store where she dresses in a costume and doles out sweet threats. She's a little too into the act and rules her candy kingdom with an iron fist.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the currently incomplete Candyland trio along with Chester. She's the hot-tempered CEO and "queen" of Mandy's Rainbow Candy, the candy shop in Starr Park which happens to run a kingdom-like theme.

Mandy's main gimmick is being the Brawler with the longest potential range from both her main attack and Super in the entire game, but requires her to stand still most of the time to reach her full potential in exchange, making her quite vulnerable against fast or aggressive Brawlers thanks to her lack of range while moving.

  • Her Attack, Candy Dispenser, is a single candy projectile with a relatively medium range that can be greatly increased by allowing her Focus bar to charge, which requires her to stand still for 0.45 seconds. If Mandy moves while her Focus bar is charging or fully charged, it will reset until she stands still again.
  • Her Super, Sugar Ray, shoots a very large ray-like projectile after a 0.75-second delay. This ray can pass through enemies and walls (but not break them) and keeps travelling until it disappears after 3 seconds, potentially crossing the entire map. Mandy is also immobile while performing her Super, and if hit with a stun, pull, or knockback during the delay, her Super will be cancelled.
  • Her first Gadget, Caramelize, allows Mandy's next attack to slow enemies it hits for 2.5 seconds.
  • Her second Gadget, Cookie Crumbs, allows Mandy's next attack to pass through enemies and walls. Walls hit by this Gadget won't be destroyed.
  • Her first Star Power, In My Sights, increases Mandy's projectile speed by 20% if her Focus bar is fully charged.
  • Her second Star Power, Hard Candy, gives Mandy a shield that reduces incoming damage by 30% when her Focus bar is fully charged.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Her default model uses candies as her main attack, while her Hanbok skin shoots a kite for her Super.
  • Angry Fist-Shake: Her response to Nita and Leon stealing some of her candies in one of the security tapes.
  • Armor-Piercing Attack: Her Cookie Crumbs Gadget allows Mandy's next attack to pierce through walls, letting her finish low-health enemies trying to hide behind cover.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Despite their constant bickering and Mandy being the prime target for Chester's pranks, the Dark Brawlidays animation shows that they really care about each other, as Chester is shown visibly concerned for Mandy's safety when the Dark Brawlers attack her and Mandy laughs with him after everything is over.
  • Becoming the Mask: What simply started as a small queen act quickly devolved into Mandy acting like a genuine monarch, ruling her candy shop "with an iron fist."
  • Cool Crown: Wears one as part of her queen outfit.
  • Cool, but Inefficient: Her Hard Candy Star Power. While the idea of giving Mandy a whopping 30% shield merely for doing something as basic as standing still might sound enticing, her glaring squishiness even with a shield and the fact Mandy isn't supposed to be getting damaged in the first place thanks to her absurd range overall makes this Star Power the weakest of her two choices, specially considering the increased damage potential In My Sights can provide.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Mandy's Focus gimmick allows her to work excellently against long-range Brawlers in very open maps... and that's it. While most other Marksmen can manage to hold their own weight in enclosed maps thanks to having above average HP, means to break walls, or tools to escape from aggressive Brawlers, Mandy doesn't posses any of these, meaning that she's easy prey for Tanks and Assassins other snipers would at least have a fair chance against in enclosed spaces. As a result, Mandy players are restricted to playing her in a limited pool of maps where her weaknesses aren't as glaring if they want her to be effective.
  • Damage Reduction: Her Hard Candy Star Power gives Mandy a shield that reduces incoming damage by 30% while she's focused.
  • Death or Glory Attack: Her Super. It deals massive damage to anything it manages to hit, ensuring enemies caught in its path will end badly damaged if not outright defeated. However, its relatively small hitbox and short windup before unleashing means that, unless the enemy is distracted or out of Mandy's field of view (itself another disadvantage for her), they will easily be able to evade it and force Mandy to the long process of charging another one from scratch.
  • Edible Ammunition: She fires candy out of her dispenser as her main attack.
  • Flower Motifs: Her Hanbok skin gives Mandy a hanbok with flower prints. Her hairbuns also acquire flower decorations as well.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: Goes from a simple Starr Park employee, nice enough to be friendly with Nita, to a super-powered and bad-tempered candy queen.
  • Gasp!: In the defeat animation of her Hanbok skin, Mandy angrily throws her scepter onto the ground before gasping in horror at what she's done, falling into a Prayer Pose afterwards.
  • Glass Cannon: She has low HP, but unmatched range and good damage potential if she manages to constantly snipe opponents.
  • God Save Us from the Queen!: While not a real queen, her hot temperament and usually unpleasant personality can make her a difficult person to deal with.
  • Inelegant Blubbering: One of her possible losing lines has her crying like a little child.
  • Level Ate: Her candy shop seems to be entirely made of candy.
  • NOT!: As a spawning line:
    "Sweet like candy. Ha, NOT!"
  • Magma Woman: In her Magma skin, where Mandy's attacks become lava-based and her hair turns into magma.
  • I'm Melting!: She melts into a puddle of lava in the defeat animation of her Magma skin.
  • Money Mauling: Her Hanbok skin has Mandy shooting pouches full of coins out of her scepter as her main attack.
  • Musical Assassin: Her candy dispenser becomes a microphone in her MC skin. Fitting, as this skin turns her into a hip hop artist.
  • Odango Hair: Gets this hairstyle in her Hanbok skin.
  • One-Hit Polykill: Her Super has the potential to take out multiple lined up enemies.
  • Prayer Pose: In the defeat animation of her Hanbok skin, Mandy tosses her scepter onto the ground before she corrects her disrespect by falling to her knees and praying to it.
  • Projectile Kiss: Throws one of these in the win animation of her Hanbok skin, complete with a heart appearing afterwards.
  • Punny Name: Mandy runs a candy shop.
  • Rags to Riches: The security tapes show that she used to own a modest, barely-enough-to-walk candy stand in Starr Park before she somehow got her own massive kingdom-like candy shop.
  • Staff of Authority: She uses a queen scepter-shaped candy dispenser as a weapon, and is the CEO of Starr Park's candy shop.
  • Sticky Situation: Her Caramelize Star Power allows Mandy's next attack to slow down enemies hit by it.
  • Stepford Smiler: In front of customers she is always smiling, to hide how unhappy and sour she is.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: As her introductory animation shows, Mandy prefers to act all friendly and cheerful in front of customers, while behind closed doors she's more abrasive and unpleasant.
  • Violation of Common Sense: Mandy's Focus mechanic means that the best way to get in range of a distant/retreating enemy is not to move in closer, but instead to stop moving altogether, a tactic that would not work with any other Brawler.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: She's always on the receiving end of Chester's pranks, although she still seems to care about him and sometimes even responds with pranks of her own. The developers have even claimed they have a love-hate relationship with each other, hinting at some Belligerent Sexual Tension between them.
  • Wave-Motion Gun: Her Super is a massive ray that Mandy shoots from her dispenser after a short delay, crossing the entire map and inflicting massive damage on anything caught in its path. Against particularly squishy Brawlers, this will often result in a One-Hit KO.
  • A Wild Rapper Appears!: Her MC skin turns her into a rapper, with her candy dispenser becoming a microphone.

    Nani

Release Date: 29/05/2020
Voiced by: Martin Schjøler
Alternate Skins: Retro Nani, Sally Nani, Bell Nani, Ares Nani, True Silver/Gold Nani

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nani_bs_full_body.png
"Let's go have a look-see!"
Originally a security camera, Nani was modified to keep an eye on Jessie. Unfortunately, she can hardly keep up with the precocious girl!

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Junker Family trio along with Jessie and Pam. Nani is a kindly robot nanny who was built by Pam using a security camera to take care of her daughter Jessie.

Nani a very powerful and very squishy sniper capable of doing massive amounts of damage with both her main attack and Super, but requires pinpoint accuracy and good timing with her kit to be as effective as other Marksmen in long-range combat.

  • Her Attack, Trigger-Nometry, consists of shooting three light orbs that converge into one. These orbs have an unique travelling pattern, as one is launched in a straight line while the other two split up from the center, forming a diamond shape until they finally converge into a single shot at the end. Getting hit by these three shots at once is bound to deal a huge dent on tanky Brawlers and outright defeat most squishy ones, although aiming may be rather difficult. If any orb doesn’t hit a target at the end of their range, they continue on their path for a bit more distance.
  • Her Super, Manual Override, allows Nani to control her buddy Peep remotely, who explodes on contact or after 10 seconds an deals massive damage in a small radius around him. Nani is completely immobile while this move is in effect, and Peep gradually gains speed the longer it's on the field, making it harder to control. If Nani is stunned, defeated, knocked back, or pulled while her Super is active, Peep completely disappears and doesn’t explode.
  • Her first Gadget, Warp Blast, allows Nani to teleport to whatever location Peep is when activating the Gadget. Peep won't deal any damage however, as it'll just disappear.
  • Her second Gadget, Return to Sender, gives her a special shield for so that the next time she takes damage, she only receives 20% of it while the rest are deflected back to the enemy in a fast and unavoidable projectile. This shield lasts 2 seconds and can only reflect back the damage from one projectile, not a full ammo bar.
  • Her first Star Power, Autofocus, increases Peep's damage further the distance he travels, adding bonus damage roughly equal to 5.55% of its basic damage per second it remains controlled by Nani.
  • Her second Star Power, Tempered Steel, decreases 80% of all damage taken while Nani is controlling Peep.

  • Apologetic Attacker: One of the things she can say right after defeating an enemy is "I'm so sorry."
  • Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence: Happens in the defeat animation of her Bell skin, where she gets a Holy Halo while her soul is seen leaving her body and ascending.
  • Attack Reflector: Her Return to Sender Gadget deflects the vast majority of the next attack's damage (80% of it) back at the attacker.
  • Badass Cape: Gets one in her Ares skin.
  • Cephalothorax: Nani's body is also where her face is located.
  • Charged Attack: If she has her Autofocus Star Power, Peep gains extra damage for every second Nani has been controlling it the moment it detonates.
  • Cool Helmet: Gains a Greek helmet in her Ares skin which, thanks to her body shape, pretty much serves as an armor.
  • Cute Machines: She's a friendly, adorable round robot who apologizes for hurting enemies.
  • Cyber Cyclops: Nani is a robot with only one big eye.
  • Easter Episode: Her Bell skin transforms Nani into a Flying Bell of Easter.
  • Damage Reduction: Both her Return to Sender Gadget and Tempered Steel Star Power give Nani shields that reduce 80% of incoming damage. However, the former has only three uses per match and can only reflect the damage from a single projectile, and the latter requires her Super to be active.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: External damage enhancers aside, Nani can potentially have the third strongest non-Hypercharge Super in the game by fully charging her Super with the Autofocus Star Power, as a max level Nani's Peep with a 10-second Autofocus charge can deal 5600 points of damage, which is enough to one-shot pretty much every Glass Cannon and Fragile Speedster in the game (for reference, the only Supers stronger than it are Hank's point-blank torpedoes and Dynamike's Super coupled with his Demolition Star Power, both of which are much easier to perform). However, not only Peep is quite difficult to control, but he gradually gains speed the longer he's on the battlefield, so managing to keep him and Nani alive for 10 seconds and hitting a Brawler is a hard (but very rewarding) task most players will be unable to achieve without a lot of practice.
  • Dub Name Change: In the Italian localization, Nani is called Iris and Peep is called Bip.
  • Enemy Compassion: A lot of her voicelines have her apologizing for hurting her enemies or asking if they're okay after being defeated.
  • Fembot: Barring her feminine-sounding voice, there's nothing that indicates Nani is female at first glance.
  • Friendly Sniper: She's a very cheerful and kind robot who apologizes and asks if her enemies are okay while blasting them away with her projectiles from a very long distance.
  • Glass Cannon: She has one of the lowest health pools in the game, but anything hit by either her three light orbs or a Peep fully charged with Autofocus is in for a world of pain. To give you a better idea, at Power Level 1, the maximum amount of damage she can deal is 2400.
  • Humble Hero: If she's in the lead, one of her possible voicelines is "I don't deserve this."
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She is small, but that doesn't stop her from dealing lots of damage, especially when her three bullets hit the target.
  • Player-Guided Missile: The player is able to control Peep during Nani's Super, but this leaves Nani completely immobile and vulnerable, so it's safer to do this when she's in a bush, protected by teammates, or if she has the Tempered Steel Star Power.
  • Punny Name: Nani is Jessie's nanny.
  • Retraux: Her Classic skin turns Nani into an old computer, and her eye becomes pixelated as a result.
  • Robot Buddy: She's this to Jessie and Pam, being a small friendly robot who is part of their trio. For her part, Nani also has a little robot buddy called Peep, who she controls during her Super.
  • Robot Maid: Or rather, Robot Nanny, as Pam created her for the sole purpose of taking care of her daughter Jessie.
  • Robo Teching: The two outer shots from her attacks flare outwards and then inwards. The length of their trajectory is determined by the player using the aim system.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Stealth Pun: Nani is a security camera-turned nanny, making her a nanny cam.
  • Swap Teleportation: Her Warp Blast Gadget lets Nani and Peep swap places, making her Super a mobility tool instead of one used to attack.
  • Three-Point Landing: Does so in the winning animation of her Ares skin.
  • Token Robot: She's currently the only non-human Marksman in the game.

"I'm sugar and spice."
Piper wants nothing more than to be the local village baker who hands out pies, cookies, and other sweet threats! Just don't ask her about her past.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the Townsfolk Trio along with Barley and Byron. She's a sweet-natured but feisty Southern Belle that uses a Sniper Rifle disguised as a parasol to attack, gaining more firepower and utility the further she's away from the enemy.

  • Her Attack, Gunbrella, fires a single long-ranged shot from her umbrella. The further her shots travel, the more damage they rack up and the more her Super is charged.
  • Her Super, Poppin', allows Piper to fly away to a desired location, leaving 4 live grenades in a cross formation for her enemies as a parting gift that explode after 0.3 seconds, dealing damage and destroying walls around them.
  • Her first Gadget, Auto Aimer, has her pull out a pistol and automatically fire at the closest enemy near her, dealing 5% the damage of her main attack at max range, pushing them back, and slowing them down for 1 second.
  • Her second Gadget, Homemade Recipe, makes her next shot home in on enemies while also gaining a bit of extra range.
  • Her first Star Power, Ambush, boosts her main attack damage when Piper is hiding in a bush. The boost will be equal to 35% the damage Piper's main attack deals at max distance.
  • Her second Star Power, Snappy Sniping, lets Piper reload 0.4 of an ammo bar every time she hits a target with her main attack, including spawnables. This also includes hits from her Auto Aimer Gadget.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Her Mariposa skin shoots butterflies, while her Flag Bearer skin uses birds resembling parrots/macaws instead.
  • Achilles' Heel: Getting close to anyone. Piper, being a specialized sniper that deals huge bursts of damage far away in exchange for her god-awful health and reload speed, might be good at taking out enemies from a distance, but once she is caught off guard or is forced to be up close to the enemy, she's done for. Most other Brawlers can easily kill off Piper at close-range, but Assassins and Tanks in particular can melt her almost instantly while she desperately runs away to no avail. On top of that, it bears repeating that she only deals sufficient damage from a distance, making her even more hopeless. Even using Piper's Super isn't that lifesaving as it takes a long time for her to land, thus making her very predictable if the enemy has quick reflexes.
  • Calacas: The theme of her Calavera skin.
  • Chef of Iron: A ordinary-looking Sweet Baker who under the surface is an expert sharpshooter and uses baking goods as grenades.
  • Cooldown Manipulation: Her Snappy Sniping Star Power lets Piper reload 0.4 ammo every time she hits an enemy with her standard attack or the Auto Aimer Gadget.
  • Dub Name Change: She's named Polly in the French translation of the game.
  • Edible Ammunition: As shown in the Piper's Sugar & Spice animation, the grenades from her Super are sugar bombs baked by Piper herself.
  • The Friends Who Never Hang: She's pretty much never seen interacting with Barley and Byron, the other members of her trio. Probably justified, as the only thing they've got in common is living in the same town.
  • Friendly Sniper: She certainly fits the trope, being a sweet and kind Proper Lady who greets her opponents with various formalities, even when she just pops their skull like a watermelon.
  • Girly Bruiser: She loves baking and wears a lot of pink as well as being a skilled fighter utilizing her umbrella rifle and grenades.
  • Glass Cannon: Piper has very low health, but her single-target damage at maximum distance is almost unmatched.
  • Heart Symbol: Her bullets take this form in her Cupid skin.
  • Hidden Weapons: Her Sniper Rifle is hidden inside her umbrella.
  • Homing Projectile: Her Homemade Recipe Gadget makes Piper's next shot to home onto targets and gain additional range, although they can still avoid it if they're fast enough.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Her Flag Bearer skin has her using a carnival flag to dish out her attacks.
  • In a Single Bound: Her Super allows Piper to jump high in the air with her parasol, potentially even over obstacles.
  • Instrument of Murder: Her Flag Bearer skin replaces the bombs from her Super with drums that explode and release confetti.
  • Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: Most of Piper's skins depict her wearing a long and elegant dress. The only exception is her Choco skin, which has a simpler, but still pretty pink dress.
  • Long-Range Fighter: An extreme case even for a Marksman. She deals more damage the further away the target is and her Super doesn't have much of a use except for running away from approaching enemies and opening up the map for her shots to be easier to hit.
  • Moon Rabbit: Her bullets take the appearance of bunnies in her Lunar skin, most likely referencing this.
  • Mysterious Past: So mysterious she apparently doesn't like being asked about it.
  • Parasol of Pain: Her parasol is actually a Sniper Rifle in disguise. Piper can be also use it to float away while she drops grenades at any opponent who gets too close.
  • Parasol Parachute: Piper uses her own parachute to float away and land when using her Super.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Her default skin has pink highlights and a pink umbrella, while her Pink and Choco skins give her pink and hot pink dresses respectively.
  • Pretty Butterflies: The theme of her Mariposa skin, which has a butterfly motif all over her dress and even replaces her bullets with butterflies.
  • Prim and Proper Bun: Piper's hair is usually tied into a bun, emphasizing her neatness and delicateness. Her Cupid skin also shows some Ojou Ringlets.
  • Punny Name: Piper rhymes with sniper.
  • Robosexual: Implied to be one with the Ship Tease she gets with Rico (see below).
  • Sean Connery Is About to Shoot You: Does so in the win animation of her Mariposa skin.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: In the defeat animation of her Lunar skin, Piper decides to float off-screen using her parasol.
  • Ship Tease: She gets huge amounts of these with Rico in promotional material, with the most egregious example being the "My Sweet Brawlentine" animation. The only thing preventing them from becoming an outright Official Couple is the lack of confirmation from the developers.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Her Pink skin makes Piper heavily resemble Princess Peach.
    • Her Choco skin is directly inspired on the character of the same name from LINE FRIENDS.
  • Situational Damage Attack:
    • The further her shots travel, the more damage they'll deal.
    • If she has the Ambush Star Power, Piper's shots will deal extra damage as long as she's inside of a bush.
  • Sniper Rifle: She's the only sniper in the game to actually use one of these as a weapon, being concealed inside of her umbrella.
  • Southern Belle: She's sweet and feminine, with a heavy southern accent.
  • Stealth Pun:
    • Her Homemade Recipe Gadget will make her next shot home onto enemies.
    • Her Ambush Star Power only works while Piper is hiding inside a bush. Am in a bush?
  • Sweet Baker: Her official animation shows she's a baker in the Wild West town of Starr Park, and even her grenades are baked sugary goods.
  • Trick Bullet: Her Auto Aimer Gadget is a fast bullet capable of pushing enemies back and slow them down.
  • True Blue Femininity: She's a Southern Belle who wears a blue dress by default.
  • Valentine's Day Episode: In her Cupid skin, which is part of the Brawlentine skin set.
