Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Actually, that troper was banned the whole time. The reason she wasn't upped was because they can't edit.

But sure, go and up the profile since it's well made.

[up]Never noticed they were banned.

[up][up] If you can.

Someone mentioned using Reps for Five Races, the only ones I can think of are Sages from Oo T. Though, Ruto and Impa are already in.

@Crownless I don't think you can but maybe you ask a mod for help.

I have been reconsidering Stain's trope and i think his current one is not that good. Can i give him Principles Zealot since it's a lot better and fit his character?

[up] What are the chances that trope would be subverted later on?

[up] Unlikely, considering Stain's role has been over for a while

Meanwhile, i think i'm done with Nedzu. Ready to go?

Nedzu, God of Confusing Species (The Principal, Mr. Principal, Nezu)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/principal_3.png
  • Potential House: Beast: Other
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His uniform and his Rugged Scar. Alternatively, a cup of tea.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Amplified Animal Aptitude, Animal Superheroes, Big Good, Cartoon Creature who is dressed, Intellectual Animal, Reasonable Authority Figure, Rodents of Unusual Size, Super-Intelligence
  • Domains: Animals, Intelligence, Schools, Education, Heroes
  • Allies: All Might and Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Shouto Todoroki, Charles Xavier, All members in the House of Heroes, Caesar, Babar, Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Iroh
  • Enemies: Kurogiri, "Hero Killer" Stain, Koba, Dr. Neo Cortex, Nitrus Brio, Dr. Robotnik, The House of Villains
  • Pities: Renekton
  • Meet Nedzu, the principal of U.A. Academy and ascended solely after learning that his school ended up warping into the Pantheon. Someone has to run the place, so he happily came here and settled a temple up with the approval of the court of gods.
  • No one can figure out what type of animal he is. Some say he is a mouse, others a dog and others even think he is some sort of bear. Nedzu just chuckles when he hears other people theorize what he really is.
  • His quirk is "High Specs", which grants him Super-Intelligence. What makes Nedzu notable from other heroes is that he is an animal and quirks rarely manifest in non-human species. That's why in the past many people experimented on him, something he would rather not to talk about.
  • Even though in the past he was experimented by humans and has been implied to have been tortured considering his scar, Nedzu still choose to be a force of good and work alongside other humans. That still doesn't mean, whenever he is given the opportunity, that he won't hurt humans, but at least he limits himself to those that really deserve it.
  • The one type of person Nedzu won't hesitate to attack would be Mad Scientists. More so with the likes of who already experimented on animals, as it brings painful memories for him.
  • Koba was really dissapointed to learn that Nedzu chose to ally with humans when both were experimented in the past by humans and don't have fond memories of it. Nedzu wouldn't be that much different from Caesar in that sense, which pissed Koba even more and tried to kill the Principal for that but he was prepared for such a setup and planned ahead so Koba wouldn't reach him. Needless to say, the primate hates Nedzu as much as Caesar and other humans.
    • It didn't help that Caesar himself allied himself with the Principal, mostly out of concern when he found out about what Koba tried to do. They remained friends after seeing that their goals aligned and their past are very similar.
  • A stroll through the House of Beast got him the chance to meet many different animals who are also quite intelligent. The ones he likes to chat the most are those who are mutated animals like Crash Bandicoot, who he heard from Caesar after he told him about the incident Crash got involved with Koba. Even with their contrasting personalities, Nedzu does consider Crash a valuable ally and is glad him and his sister Coco didn't choose to be evil because they were mutated animals.
    • Another deity he befriended was the kind Babar, who was also a Civilized Animal like him although the circumstances for that were quite different. He is interested that he managed to build a city alongside his fellow elephants and is quite interested in seeing it.
  • Having heard of his constant visits to U.A. Academy, Nedzu and Charles Xavier shared a cordial talk where they exchanged ideas in how to run their respective academies. He also understands the pain that must be seen as an outcast to society and hopes that Charles' world becomes more accepting like the one Nedzu lives in.
  • Tea is one of Nedzu's prefered drinks and he can often be seen visiting Iroh's temple since his find the kind of tea he serves exquisite.
  • He is fully aware that a traitor has infiltrated his school, but hasn't been able to figure out who could that person be. He did receive some additional help from Tony Stark but not much progress has beem made on the case. There are certain deities that have theories regarding certain students that attend class 1-A but nothing too solid has been found yet.

But if Stain gets that instead, does that mean his old trope is now open for Kuvira again?

Standard repost for the Gamers and the introduction of Lisha. They are not ready for [tup]s, I need suggestions for interactions. Any help?

The Gamers! crewmembers , Divine Quintet of Non-Indicative First Episodes
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gamers.png
Left to right: Aguri, Karen, Keita, Chiaki, Tasuku.
  • Potential/New House: Narrative Structure
  • Theme Song: "Gamers"
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Symbol: Their cellphones
  • Portfolio: Ragtag Bunch of Misfits, Sustained Misunderstanding, First Episodes that Subvert Audiences' Expectations, Interpreting Events the Wrong Way, Insecure Love Interests To Each Other, Lack of Communication that Leads to Hilarity, Unwittingly Causing Problems to Each Other
  • Domains:
  • Herald: Konoha Hoshinomori (Chiaki's little sister)
  • Allies: Good deities in the House of Gaming, Chiaki Nanami
  • Enemies: Gork and Mork
  • When the first episode of Gamers! was broadcast, the Pantheon was introduced to the life of Keita Amano, who was invited by Karen Tendo to join her gaming club. Viewer expectations were subverted when he turned down the invitation and never joined the club at all and the gaming club itself rarely appeared and were largely irrelevant to the actual plot. Instead, the story of Gamers! focused on the romantic mishaps of Keita, Karen and their new friends Tasuku, Aguri and Chiaki; all of whom have varying degrees of interest in video games. Impressed their show threw such a curveball, the Pantheon's higher-ups allowed their ascension.
  • Upon arrival, Keita, Karen and Chiaki made a beeline to the House of Gaming, much to Tasuku and Aguri's consternation. There, they were surprised to learn their favorite video game characters were real people. Keita and Karen spend a lot of time in the arcade section and Karen does some research to continue her work on freeware games. All five have received the most modern and advanced gaming consoles as acknowledgment for their love of the gaming experience.
  • The House of Mentalism is utterly baffled by them due to their remarkable ability to misinterpret and/or overreact to any event and scenario and any reasonable explanation will only get them to draw even more negative conclusions. Needless to say, with all these misunderstandings, they're pretty much Gork and Mork's bitches.
    • Just to make sure there are no confusions, let's be clear about this: Keita and Karen have feelings for each other, as do Tasuku and Aguri. Chiaki has feelings for Keita, who only thinks of her as a friend, while Keita and Aguri are Just Friends. At some point, their relationships have been misunderstood, with some people thinking they are cheating on each other with each other.
  • Chiaki Nanami is someone who the group talks to quite a bit. The group (Hoshinomori and Keita in particular) was pretty surprised to hear that there was another gamer named Chiaki (two of them, even), especially since even if she's a bit out there, she's really friendly, not very judgmental in the long run, and most of all, a positive influence towards her friends. Hoshinomori believed that Nanami had someone she really loved, to which the latter acknowledged. The group was shocked after learning about how Nanami's fate (particularly her human one) was brutal, especially given that the world she's from is nowhere near as relaxed as that of Gamers!. Nevertheless, Nanami keeps in touch with the group (with Keita and Hoshinomori being frequent conversation buddies) whenever she can and whenever they visit.
  • Exclusive to Keita:
    • Befriended Peter Parker, Shido Itsuka and Yuu Haruna for having a lot in common with each other. The four young men normally gather to play and discuss video games and talk about their love problems. Keita is actually surprised to learn Peter, Shido and Yuu have actual experience in things Keita has only seen in video games.
  • Exclusive to Karen:
    • Friends with Ami Mizuno, Ika Musume, Mikoto Misaka and Cecilia Alcott thanks to their similar voices. She likes talking with Mikoto and Cecilia about their relationships, Ami helps her with schoolwork and Ika is one of the very few humans that she considers a friend, thanks in no small part because Karen once took part in this.
  • Exclusive to Chiaki:
    • At first, she was hostile to Keita due to some differences in their gaming preferences. Over time, however, they worked out their differences and became friends. Well, Keita considers her friend; Chiaki actually fell in love with him, partially because they were actually friends in online gaming under aliases. Chiaki put 2 and 2 together but Keita didn't. Afraid a romance would ruin things between them (by that point, Keita and Karen had started dating), Chiaki asked her sister Konoha to pretend she was the person behind Chiaki's online accounts. To make things even more complicated than they already were, Konoha fell in love with Keita as well.
      • To fix this, she consulted Anzu Mazaki and Honoka Mitsui, who found themselves in similar situations regarding their respective love interests, and Tenri Ayukawa, who valiantly sacrificed her affection for Keima Katsuragi. They advised her to at least keep things friendly with Keita for now, and their love problems would solve themselves eventually.

Lisesharte Atismata, Goddess of Intimate Marks (Lisha, Scarlet War Princess)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lisesharte_atismata.jpg
  • Potential/New House: Physical Appearance
  • Symbol: Her Sword Device (Tiamat in standby mode), or the Arcadia symbol near her groin
  • Rank: Lesser Goddess (Greater Goddess using Tiamat)
  • Theme: "Unbalance Gravity"
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Warrior Princess, The Arcadia Symbol Branded Near Her Groin, Legion, Neglected and Abandoned by Her Father, Red Eyes, Take Warning, Traumatized in her Early Years, Wrench Wench, Socially-Awkward Heroine
  • Portfolio: Royalty, Military, Permanent Body Marks, Science
  • Allies: Lux Arcadia, Krulcifer Einfolk, Azura, Celestia Ralgris, Yoruka Kirihime, Princess Zelda, Aragorn, Fuuka Akitsuki, Mei-Ling Zhou, Dexter, the Tenno
  • Enemies: Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine, Megatron, Arcturus Mengsk,Gregor Clegane, Apollyon, the Grineer, the Corpus
  • Friendly Rival: Houki Shinonono
  • Lisesharte Atismata is known for two things: being the heir apparent to the throne of the Atismata Kingdom (the regime that succeeded the Arcadia Empire) and the Arcadia symbol branded near her groin. Since all the good royalty tropes were taken, the Pantheon's higher-ups could only ascend her due to that second trait. Lisha wasn't happy that her ascension was only because of such an embarrassing detail about herself but nonetheless was happy to see Lux again.
  • First and foremost, Lisha wants to be a proper and excellent queen to her people, which is why she spends most of her time in the House of Royalty, where she, alongside Krulcifer, has become a student under such legendary figures like Princess Zelda of Hyrule and Aragorn of Gondor. Lux is glad both girls are surrounded by mentors that actually care for them the way their own families weren't able.
    • Of course, her noble motivations in royalty have put her in the sights of tyrants and despots like Darth Sidious, Megatron and Arcturus Mengsk; all of whom want to acquire the Tiamat's technology to further their conquests. Lisha isn't particularly fond of the Grineer, whose unethical experiments were all to similar to those performed by the Arcadia Empire. For that reason, she has worked together with the Tenno in a few missions to foil their plans.
  • Given their similar voices, she is good friends with Azura, Fuuka Akitsuki and Mei-Ling Zhou. Lisha enjoys singing talking about their relationships alongside Fuuka and Azura and working on new technologies with Mei, saying Krulcifer would benefit greatly from Mei's expertise in cryogenic technology.
  • Like the rest of Lux's haremettes, Lisha was glad to hear he defeated Ichika Orimura, proud of both his skill as a Drag-Knight and her own skill as a technician. Such comments, however, brought unwanted attention from Houki Shinonono, who fervently defended Ichika and challenged Lisha to a fight, to which Lisha boldly accepted.
  • Her quest to defend her kingdom has earned her the enmity of brutal warmongers like Gregor Clegane and Apollyon, who bring her bad memories of Hayes. She isn't entirely fond of the Corpus either, knowing they would attack Atismata for the right price. Fortunately, Dexter has agreed to supply her with technological resources to improve her defenses.

Any suggestions and/or feedback is much appreciated.

Reposting. Pretty much done with Nedzu, ready to go?

Hello. I have been unable to access the internet because of insulation accidentally messing with the cables. This is why I haven't appeared in a while. With delay, these are ready to ascend

Zangoose and Seviper, Dueling Deities of Speciesism Between Animals (The Cat Ferret and Fang Snake Pokemon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/336seviper.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/335zangoose.png
Zangoose (bottom) and Seviper (top)
  • Votes: 3(Master Hero, nightelf37, fasoman1996)
  • Date of ascension: 13 January
  • House: Other Beasts (House of Beast)
  • Lesser God and Goddess
  • Symbol: Zangoose's claws and Seviper's tail blade
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Gender: Male (Zangoose), Female (Seviper)
  • Ability: Toxic Boost (Zangoose), Shed Skin (Seviper)
  • Moveset:
    • Zangoose: Crush Claw, Facade, Swords Dance, Close Combat
    • Seviper: Toxic, Crunch, Poison Jab, Venoshock
    • Z-Move: Breakneck Blitz (Zangoose), Acid Downpour (Seviper)
  • Portfolio(both): Mongoose-Viper Antagonism, Patterns Resembling Bloody Wounds, The Rival, Status Buff, Can Breed Despite Hating Each Other, Will Work Together Under A Trainer, Foil
  • Domains: Rivalry, Blades (both), Mongooses, Claws (Zangoose), Snakes, Poisons (Seviper)
  • Allies (both): Steve Irwin, Reubus Hagrid, Ash Ketchum, Red, Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, Calem and Serena
  • Enemies (both): Each other (except for opposing mutual enemies), Ghetsis Harmonia, Hunter J, Lysandre, Walder Frey, Apophis
    • Zangoose only: Serperior, Jessie
    • Seviper only: Scyther, Gregor Clegane
  • Opposes: The House of Reptiles (Zangoose), the House of Felines (Seviper)
  • Annoyed by: Hunter and Bianca, those who put their Animal Jingoism behind them (both)
  • Zangoose and Seviper are two version exclusive Pokemon first found in Hoenn. Zangoose is a mongoose/cat ferret with sharp claws, and Seviper a viper with a blade for a tail. As with real mongooses and snakes, the two despise each other. For generations the two Pokemon have feuded, scars from their battles etched into their very body. And now that they are gods, their conflict will prove even more climatic.
  • The hatred the two share towards each other is so intense that in a Horde Battle, they will immediately start attacking one another before attacking the opponent. However even they must follow Pokemon battle rules and will work together under a trainer. Both of them were happy to learn they'd have separate partners in the pantheon. Both despise Walder Frey for violating the rules of Sacred Hospitality and putting aside differences in important rites.
  • Zangoose is described as being a cat-ferret, but its hard to determine that from first glance. However he still has a connection to the House of Felines, being fond of Bastet. He is primarily interested in sharpening his Wolverine-like claws, leading him to get along with Scyther. The two test their blades and claws in the House of Weapons. He has chosen Wolverine as a partner to better hone his claws.
  • Seviper immediately caught the interest of Jessie. Jessie has a Seviper of her own, who she fought directly and caught in a blind rage when it too a bite out of her hair. While not interested in Team Rocket's endeavors, she respects a fellow Seviper trainer. The fact that Seviper is friendly with Ash along with Zangoose, as are most Pokemon, makes this a bit awkward. She seems fond of Serperior and Quetzalcoatl due to being fellow snakes, even if the former is weak to Poison types.
  • Oberyn Martell was very interested in Seviper, due to his title as the Red Viper and Seviper being a literal poisonous viper. One with a poisoned knife as a tail, which fit his taste in weapons. The two met, and she agreed to be his partner so she can harness his various poisons in combat. This has given the Mountain even more to be angry about, and plans to add the Fang Snake Pokemon to his long list of victims.
  • Their intense speciesism led Zangoose to oppose the House of Reptiles and Seviper to oppose the House of Felines on principle alone. They allied with the Tarantula and Scorpion due to sharing this animal rivalry. It would've been an arbitrary choice which they allied with were it not due to the Scorpion's poison resonating more with Seviper. Zangoose allied with the other just to oppose her.
  • Due to their aforementioned speciesism, they are confused by those who put their Animal Jingoism aside. They consider Hunter and Bianca's relationship to be disgusting considering they are predator and prey, and never quite understand when canine and feline deities get along. None of it makes sense to them.
  • Despite their bitter hatred of one another, there are gods they hate enough to work together for a time. That being Ghetsis Harmonia for his cruel actions and disregard of Pokemon even being sentient making him near-universally loathed among Pokemon, Hunter J's poaching making her even more hated by Pokemon than Ghetsis, and Lysandre for his plans of mass genocide. They also equally despise Apophis. Seviper believes Apophis is an abomination who gives snakes a really bad name.
  • Conversly, both will stop fighting due to their shared respect and ethics surrounding Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. Both respect Ash, Red, Calem and Serena. Steve Irwin and Reubus Hagrid are good enough handlers that they can take care of both of them together. Well, certainly Steve but Hagrid tends to "let boys be boys" and isn't really able to stop the two from fighting each other.
  • No, Seviper is not an evolution of Arbok. She'll Poison Jab any idiot who believes otherwise. She'll do the same to anyone who makes a snide remark about how they can breed. Since the Zangoose is male and Seviper female, it's entirely possible they are capable of producing more Seviper with each other. She and Zangoose will slice up anyone who wants that to happen.

The Ambassador of the 456, God of Abducting Children

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_456.jpg
  • Votes: 3(Master Hero, nightelf37, fasoman1996)
  • Date of ascension: 13 January
  • House: Thieves (House of Crime)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The number 456
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Abducting Children To Use As Drugs, Starfish Aliens, Knight of Cerebus, Mass Child Harvest, Hero Killer, Creepy Monotone, Evil Ambassadors, Utterly Depraved
  • Domains: Invasion, Narcotics, Abductions, Cruelty, Ambassadors
  • Followers: Rosine, Kryb, SCP-918
  • Allies: The Coachman, Pennywise, Ragyo Kiryuin, Black Doom, Azazel, Palpatine, The Borg Queen
  • Enemies: Every human child, JACK HARKNESS, The Doctor and his companions, Ood Sigma, Night Raid, anyone opposed to drugs or Harming Children, Agent K and Agent J, Ren Amamiya and the Phantom Thieves of Heart, Giorno Giovanna and his gang, Max Tennyson, The Blorg Community, Raiden, Shido Itsuka, Link, Ayato Amagiri, Lux Arcadia
  • The 456 is a mysterious alien species first heard in 1965 through the radio, their name from the wavelength used. Possessing advanced medical knowledge, they would help cure an anti-virus for a price-human children. Later on they threatened to end humanity if 10% of their children weren't surrendered to them. For what reason do they abduct kids? To be used as drugs, recreational drugs to be precise. Their actions inspire the darkest sides of humanity, and of the universe they come from.
  • Even in a universe where Daleks and Cybermen exist, the ambassador representing the species is considered exceptionally vile. This is due to his target of children, the lengths he's willing to go to get them and reason being as petty as using for drugs. The Doctor was horrified to learn something like this happened when he wasn't there. In addition Ood Sigma hates the 456 for exploiting people even worse than what humans did to the Ood. All his companions despise him, particularly Amy and Rory given their daughter was stolen as an infant.
  • Permanently banned from the House of Children with no hope of repeal, and rightfully despised by every human child. What's worse is that the children aren't just killed and cooked to serve as drugs, but harvested over a lifetime. And he's a drug dealer who uses his product. Only a handful of gods in the pantheon are morally depraved enough to use them. Even Jabba the Hutt doesn't want to touch the product despite his criminal gluttony. Raiden utterly despises the 456 given his personal experience of stopping the illegal selling of children's brains.
  • Horrifyingly enough the Coachman approached the Ambassador of the 456 for a deal. He sells him the kids he catches for riches. The ambassador was happy to do so, but wanted enough of the donkey-children so he could test the product. He found the fix from these kids an "acquired taste, but would sell well in a specific niche" then responded to the Coachman he wants him to help take more children for him due to being banned from the House of Children. Earning even more enmity from them.
  • Black Doom respects the 456 for their desire to harvest human children. They don't apply much of a meal as grown humans for the Black Arms, and while he prefers to not mess with his head by doing drugs does think they'd be useful. Ragyo Kiryuin is completely willing to sell out human kids.
  • Agent K and Agent J were disgusted with the lengths that the Ambassador went to for his fix, and the disaster that was trying to deal with him. As does Max Tennyson due to his despicable tastes, and being a grandfather. He has considered scamming the SCP Foundation to get more kids, but has decided against it because he doesn't have a chance in hell of it working out for him. SCP-993 might help him out though.
  • Most in the House of Crime consider him repellent, even the evil deities. Walter White may be a ruthless drug dealer, but he's not going to subject kids to a Fate Worse than Death. The Phantom Thieves of Heart hope to see him consumed with guilt after stealing his heart. Giorno Giovanna considers his drug dealing a thousand times worse than Diavolo.
  • Was interested in Pennywise due to how he feeds off human children. While the 456 keeps the kids around for drugs, It eats kids while harvesting on their fears. It has never experienced a high, but felt the ability to harvest the chemicals of a child's brain scientifically may enhance the taste of kids. It made a deal with the Ambassador to mutually benefit of the suffering of humanity. Azazel is able to work with the 456 due to feeding children demon blood.
  • Invariably disgusts Shido Itsuka and Link since they go after those who kidnap kids, and Ayato Amigiri and Lux Arcadia due to their child experimentation. Palpatine and the Borg Queen approve of their actions due to the fact they kidnap kids for their own purposes, though the believe they the 456 is lacking in ambition.
  • Contacted through radio transmissions, his own name or name of his species being unknown. Communications in the pantheon are being checked to make sure he doesn't hijack it. The radio communications ended up in him getting in contact with the Blorg, who despite their friendliness were immediately horrified and disgusted by how he gets high.
  • Due to little being known about the 456, it's possible they lack the technology need to destroy humanity and were scamming humanity big-time. There is also the possibility that it was a solo mission, and he was like the Slitheen in being one bad egg in an otherwise moral species. Most don't want to think about this.

[up][up] Not being listed doesn't mean he doesn't fit that. Pretty sure The Fundamentalist was suggested for someone else.

[up] Actually, if the profile adds new characters to the pantheon and combines already existing ones in a single group it's fine to work it here. Other tropers did allow me to work the Classical Literature Club here after all

[up] Ok, he can get it then.

Since the 13 crew are grouped, Always Save the Girl and Apocalypse Maiden would be free. I would like to hold on to the last one to give To Rei Ayanami.

Someone mentioned using Reps for Five Races, the only ones I can think of are Sages from Oo T. Though, Ruto and Impa are already in. Would that be possible to do if I get permission to merged Impa and Ruto profiles?
