Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up][up]Calling the Castlevania Dracula the most famous Dracula in all of fiction strikes me as really myopic.

As the measure of fame is a difficult thing to judge accurately, it seems that the best thing to do would be to composite all the different Draculas—unless there is a better reason to keep certain incarnations separate.

@Dracula - Hmm, I feel like Dracula in general is a problematic character because of his status as a Public Domain Character and having around seven different versions of the character, three of which are from the same franchise.

The main Castlevania version of Dracula is an issue of being treated as a Composite Character when clearly, the version that's being depicted the most is as the one from Castlevania. So it's safe to say that this can be changed from dropping the Composite Character aspect entirely and having him simply be from a particular setting. Then again, there are also iterations of the character from Hotel Transylvania, Hellsing and the Original Version and, unless resolved, this will make the situation more problematic. In the case of the former two, they are heavily distinctive with unique personalities, tone, goals and outlooks, so I feel like them having their own profiles is fine. That, and trying to compile them into a single composite version would be basically like suddenly giving a character Split Personality Disorder due to just how different one version is, and I don't like that direction.

Finally, Universal Dracula can work if he takes the eponymous trope, though I do feel as if, personality-wise, he is hardly any distinguishable from the Original Dracula, so it's largely doing the same character, sans more notable weaknesses, powers and a more handsome looks. Still, if anyone feels as if Universal Dracula can enter, then I won't object to someone working on a future profile for him.

If you want a resolution, then here's a [tup] to changing the Dracula in Undead to the main version from Castlevania. Abstaining on Universal Dracula, though I'm slightly leaning towards being favourable.

[down] There's different ways to write down a title and that's been happening for years. I mean, you could come up with something like Count Dracula, The Unholy Archetypal Vampire and it would still work fine.

[down][down][down] You forgot to mention Malebolgia, Violator and Spawn. Still, here's a [tup].

Dracula, God of Dracula would sound weird though. I guess if you only use the Universal version of Dracula it could work. Do note that he only vaguely mentioned to be Vlad Dracul. And the novel he really isn't him.

  • Opposed By: The Seven Heavenly Virtues, Emilia Justina, Gilgamesh, The Doomslayer
  • 2,000 Years ago, in an era known as the Mythical Age, there lived a legendary demon with unmatched and unrivaled power who was feared by every being in the world; from humans to demons to spirits to even the gods, there was none who did now know the name of Anos Voldigoad, the Demon King of Tyranny. However, Anos himself became more than wary of the countless battles and suffering he and every side of every race faced from this Forever War, so, with the help of the hero of humanity, the Demon King preformed an Heroic Sacrifice to separate the realms of the four races for 1,000 years so their grudges from the war could die out in that time. However, it takes more than death to fully kill Anos Voldigoad, as through his source magic, he is able to reincarnate into the present day and enroll into Delsgade, the Demon King Academy, where he goes on a journey to retake his throne, making new allies and enemies alike, showing the world that the Demon King of Tyranny has returned.
  • Originally, Anos was the High Priest of Saitama for the God of Comically Invincible Hero, so the Court of the Gods were already familiar with Anos and his feats. Due to this familiarity, Anos has already been in consideration for other positions in the Pantheon due it being HIGHLY unlikely anything would happen to Satiama anytime soon. Soon enough, the Court was able to find a place in the Pantheon for him due to the events of his world allowing Anos to fully reclaim his status in front of the entire world and preventing the genocide of his race and subjects. Having taken back his title and throne as the Demon King, Anos has achieved full ascension into the Pantheon.
  • His temple is a perfect replica of his Demon King Castle, Delzogade, which in his world has been turned into the Demon King Academy.
  • Is already good friends with Saitama when he first ascended into the Pantheon do to being his former High Priest as stated above, and thus Saitama was more than willing to show him around the Pantheon after congratulating him, but Anos declined, wanting to experience this kind of thing himself, but promised to come back to Saitama to show him a fight worthy of someone of his caliber.
  • Despite being recognized as the Demon King of the Pantheon, many deities are surprised to find Anos as quite the social butterfly who is more man than willing to make friends and support them in whatever endevour they find involve themselves in. It is even more suprising when one knows about the fact that, in his previous life, he killed all of the humans, spirits, and even gods during his reign.
  • Made his first post-ascension friend in Lena Oxton/Tracer when he first introduced himself to the wider known Pantheon with one of his "jokes".
Anos: Good day my future subjects! Today shall be known as the day that I, Anos Voldigoad, will wipe out all who shall stand in the way of my reign!
(appearing next to him) Tracer: Oi mate, you hit in the head or something? You do know where you are, right?
Anos: Why of course. Just thought it'd a good way to introduce myself with a good joke.
Tracer: You were joking? With that line here?
Anos: Well, it worked everytime I said it 2,000 years ago.
Tracer: ...Okay, someone seriously needs to get you a good joke book or else your going to get yourself killed sooner than later.
Anos: Oh please, as if killing me is enough to make me die.
Tracer: Don't tell that to Shirou.
  • When he first heard of the demon king position in the Pantheon has been filled, Sougo Tokiwa immediately assumed it was his evil future self and went to the temple to confront him...only to find a bemused Anos on his throne. After a moment of clearing up the misunderstanding at hand, Sougo was more than excited to meet a fellow deity who is also "the kindest and greatest Demon King" of his world. On his end, Anos was more than amused and impressed to see Sougo so determined to achieve his dream and decided to stick around Sougo to see how far he'll be able to go as a Demon King.
  • Has actually encountered DIO, and due to their clashing egos, a fight broke out between the two. However, when DIO used his signature ZA WARDUDO, he quickly discovered that Anos can easily move just fine while asking "Did you really think that stopping time would stop me from moving?" Too shocked to counter or come up with a next move, DIO found himself waking up in his temple one heart rip later, swearing vengeance on Anos Voldigoad.
  • As the representative of Demon Rulers, it was inevitable that he would encounter the various demons and hybrids and demon hunters though out the Pantheon:
    • His first meeting with the Sparda brothers went well enough, with Anos fully recognizing their capabilities as demon hunters, but made they it clear to both of them that if they think he's the same as any other demon they've dealt with before then he's be more than happy to prove then wrong at any time. Both Dante and Vergil accepted this blatant challenge, more than willing to test the power of Anos.
    • Anos is very much impressed with the fact that Nero managed to break through the deadly sibling rivalry between his uncle and father before they actually killed each other. Nero, while surprised to find a demon like Anos so relaxed and affable, was more than willing to strike up a good friendship with him.
    • First met Trish when she crashed her motorcycle into his temple to she what's kind of person the Demon King is , with Anos finding this action pretty funny and decided right there and then she's be more than worth to have around in his life, which Trish finding this reaction equally amusing and thinking the same about Anos, both becoming good friends afterwards.
    • Mundus was furious to discover that someone other than him has been acknowledged as the King of Demons in the Pantheon, refusing to see Anos as nothing but an pretender to the throne. Anos's response to his attitude is simply to come over to his temple at anytime to see if why he's known as the Demon King of Tyranny.
    • Morrigan and Lilith Aensland actually found it hilarious to learn that despite being a demon, Anos only understands love in familial terms and has never been in an intimate relationship in either of his lives. They can be seen frequently at his temple trying to teach him the difference loves that exists, as the Aensland sister find it improper for the Demon King not to know.
    • Anos is utterly unimpressed with the Godhand and their genuine belief that one's destiny cannot be defied no matter what, holding the assurance that if doesn't like whatever fate has in store for him, he'll change it. When they laughed at such declaration, Anos reminded them that they themselves were human once upon a time, so they don't get to decide what a naturally born demon like him can or cannot do.
    • Anos - while having a friendly rivalry with Lucifer due to them being equal when it comes to being a Smug Super - feels right at home when hanging around the Seven Mortal Sins, reminding him of the demon kin he had in his previous life. The Sins are very welcoming to Anos and respect his position as the rightful Demon King of the Pantheon, knowing they can count on his help when the times comes for their version of God tries to wipe out Earth and humanity.
  • Is frequently on the end of Lord Voldemort's annoying and demanding prodding as a result of not being able to die even when killed. The Dark Lord sees this a a true form of immortality yet to be discovered and wishes to capture Anos to test and see how he has managed.
  • Emilia cannot properly reconcile the fact that Anos, with so much history of death and blood on his hands, actually wants to have peace with humans, being wary of his true intentions for sacrificing his life. Anos honestly just pities the girl for having such limited thinking.
  • Anos is seen be the Seven Heavenly Virtues as just as dangerous as Lucifer to humanity due to his past, acknowledging that while his desire for true peace is more than admirable and relatable, his actions leave a lot to be desired to get them fully on board with him.
  • Anos is one of the few deities in the whole Pantheon who can actually match Gilgamish in BOTH power and ego. Unfortunately, due Anos's position into the Pantheon, Gilgamish views him as an direct challenge to his claim on the one true king and thus someone who needs to learn his place beneath him. To his credit, Anos has made it very clear that he isn't afraid of throwing down anywhere at anytime.
  • Called Fused Zamasu an complete idiot in his face after learning what his deal was. Zamasu, after Anos somehow escaped his grasp, swore he would pay for his petty arrogance.
  • Akko can be seen hanging around in Anos's temple, learning and taking in his advice on how to approach using magic in new and different ways. Given how he invented most of the magic back in his world, Anos was more than happy to take Akko under his wing, helping and aiding his friend despite her low capacity for the field.
    • Anos was also very impressed to see how progressive Luna Nova Academy when it comes to teaching magic, hoping for the Demon King Academy back at his world can take a few ques from the witches there so his descendants can go expand their minds and view on certain things.
  • The Doomslayer, having learned of the Demon King's existence and ascension into the Pantheon, doesn't trust Anos's intentions given his bloody past, as, given his own history, someone like that doesn't suddenly gain a conscious without having hidden intentions. Anos, directly in the face of Doomslayer, he can rip and tear at him at any time if he feels that Anos is truly a threat, but don't think he will not respond in kind.
  • Both Malebolgia and The Violator are disgusted that the Demon King Anos (or any other demon for that matter) would be affable and even supportive to humankind while being a mostly benevolent figure and sees Anos's enthronement as nothing but a farce that needs to be desposed of as soon as possible. Given Malebolgia's deceptive nature and Violator's sadistic tendencies, Anos's couldn't give a less of a damn about his opinons on him and is more than ready to sent them back to Hell. Permanently.
  • Anos's made it known that he finds Trigon, the demon lord who seeks to create a worthy demonic heir via sexually violating as many women as he can and disposing of any offsprings who does give him good results, nothing less than deplorable. Anos is currently working with his antagonistic and heroic daughter, Raven, to find a way to destroy Trigon permanently.
  • "Whether it is providence, fate, or miracle, before my eyes, it simply prostrates and vanishes."

The former says that their robotic speech suggests this. On the other hand, the Rust Promoter appearing to have no effect on them and seems to be capable of taking Sudden Guts Pills as well as having a member of their ranks called the Ghost of Starman, makes them an enigmatic race. These two cases have both convincing evidence.

I think I'm finally done with Daisuke. Any [tup]?

Daisuke Kambe, God of Crimefighting with Cash (Daisuke Kanbe)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daisuke_kambe.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His striped tie
  • Theme Song: NAVIGATOR
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral with Chaotic Good tendencies
  • Portfolio: Arbitrarily Large Bank Account, Bishōnen, Cowboy Cop, Crimefighting with Cash, Fiction 500, Nerves of Steel, Non-Idle Rich, Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense, Sharp-Dressed Man, Smoking Is Cool, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with Haru Kato, HEUSC
  • Domains: Crime, Detectives, Money
  • Herald: Suzue Kambe
  • High Priest: Fred
  • Allies: Conan Edogawa, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Shinya Kogami, Seto Kaiba, Shinnosuke Tomari, Ryotaro Dojima, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Nami
  • Enemies: Manfred von Karma, Shogo Makishima, Mr. Burns, Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulasky, Brian Irons, Manny Pardo, Bluebeard
  • The son of the very wealthy Kambe family, Daisuke uses his money and cutting-edge technology to solve criminal cases. He joins the Metropolitan Police Department's Modern Crime Prevention Task Force where he is partnered with Haru Kato, who disapproves of his way of solving things with money.
  • Daisuke has taken a liking to the young detective Conan Edogawa and is impressed by his intuition and intelligence. Conan likewise respects how Daisuke can keep mostly keep his composure no matter how stressful the situation. He has lent Conan his money and technological sources to help him solve the various criminal cases within the Pantheon, with Conan very grateful to Daisuke for his help.
  • He has a great dislike for Mr. Burns, one of the Three Managers of Commerce. While Daisuke uses his wealth as a means to solve crime and circumvent obstacles in his investigations, he would never stoop to the level of greed that Mr. Burns has. Using his money as heir to the Kambe Family, Daisuke is trying his best to prevent Burns from taking complete control over the House of Commerce.
  • Daisuke has struck something of a Friendly Rivalry with Shinya Kogami thanks to their similarities, both being black-haired, pale-skinned detectives regarded by many as handsome who have a disregard for the rules. However, Kogami, the Tall, Dark, and Handsome God, the stands well above the shorter, 5'6" Daisuke. This mildly annoys Daisuke, who wears shoes that elevate himself by five centimeters to compensate for his height.
  • To solve crimes, Daisuke has been buying the top technology out there to help in his goals. Daisuke has been learning from Tony Stark to improve his A.I. butler HEUSC to be just as good, if not better than, Stark's famous A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. He has also been trying to purchase some of Tony Stark's technology like his Powered Armors to fight criminals whenever needed. However, Tony refused to Daisuke's disappointment.
  • Daisuke's motivation for being a detective stems from his mother's tragic death when he was only a child. Given his mother's murder at the hands of his father, Daisuke has harbored an intense hatred for men who brutally kill their wives in cold blood. Since joining the Pantheon, he has aimed to take down infamous Bluebeard, the Unholy Wife Killer.
  • Scrooge McDuck has expressed surprise at Daisuke's willingness to spend millions of dollars to solve cases. The cheap old duck cannot understand why he would do so when he gets nothing out of it. He was even more surprised to find out Daisuke's unwillingness to become heir of the Kambe Family and fully inherit his family's abundant wealth.
  • He has an intense hatred for Manny Pardo, who, on the surface is an incompetent officer with Cowboy Cop tendencies, is actually the identity behind the Miami Mutilator who grew increasingly disgruntled with the media not paying attention to his killings compared to stories such as the resurgence of the Russian Mafia and its battles with the Cartel from the Son and apparent existence of other masked killers from the Fans. Given his the corruption involved in his mother's murder case, Daisuke has little tolerance for Dirty Cops.
  • Daisuke has formed something of an Odd Friendship with Nami due to their shared belief in the value of money. Nani, however, has showed mild annoyance at Daisuke's privilege and arrogance from being born into the wealthy Kambe family, while she grew up poor in Orange Town and had to gather the money to save her hometown from Arlong. She's been trying to swindle Daisuke of his money, but he's been clever enough to avoid it so far.
  • Although confident in his intelligent and financial resources, even Daisuke admits that L Lawliet is by-far the best detective in the Pantheon even in spite of his eccentrics and far superior than himself. However, the secretive L has not been willing to communicate with his fellow detective Daisuke unless it's through his butler Watari. Daisuke has been trying to bribe L to teach him his skills by getting him the most delicious sweets possible, fully aware of the detective's notorious Sweet Tooth.

[[folder: Simon Laurent]]

Simon Laurent, God of Rejecting Reality

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/simon_laurent.png
  • Potential House: Mentalities
  • [tup]s:
  • Demigod.
  • Symbol: His large line of numbers
  • Theme Song: You're No Person
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil. Formerly Lawful Neutral.
  • Portfolio: I Reject Your Reality, Psychopathic Manchild, Never My Fault, Tragic Villain, Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse, Fantastic Racism against non-humans, Blondes Are Evil, Jerkass, Would Hit a Girl, Knight of Cerebus, Go Mad from the Revelation, Cruel and Unusual Death
  • Domains: Mentality, Rejection, Madness
  • Allies: Colonel McCullough, Gaston, Shou Tucker, Bete Noire, Amon, Yennefer, Barney Stinson, Hal Stewart/Tighten, Vlad Masters, Claude Frollo, Hans Westergard, Inanna, Gideon Graves
  • Commonality Connection: Malware, Koba
  • Enemies: The Cartoon Network Deities (especially Finn Mertens, The Undertale Deities, Caesar, Bojack Horseman, The Pines Twins, Johnny Lawrence, Trixie Lulamoon, John Kramer/Jigsaw.
  • Simon Laurent was once a normal kid who happened to stumble on the Infinity Train, he befriended one of its inhabitants, a talking Cat, but was abandoned by it when a monster known as a Ghom attacked them and forgot to check back on him. Traumatized and feeling betrayed, the event would eventually set Simon down a dark path. Afterwards he met a human girl in the Pantheon named Grace, who had also ended up in it. The two became friends and started a group of human passengers known as the "Apex" who believed the numbers every passenger had (which were meant to showcase how many issues one had to solve) meant power and superiority with both Simon and Grace having the highest as "proof" of their status.
    • However despite their mostly amicable relationship which seemed to drift into more, Simon soon began to change for the worst when he and Grace separated from their group and met a young girl named Hazel and her gorilla companion, Tuba who had gotten lost in the train's cars. Though initially all seemed good between them, Simon's distrust of non-humans led to him betraying and killing Tuba by throwing her off the trains' rails without remorse alienating Hazel. Later on, his attempts to justify himself would end up alienating Grace. After they both found out that their perception of the numbers was wrong, Grace accepted it but Simon did not and this refusal costed him greatly when he tried retaking the Apex all on his own. After he nearly fell off during a confrontation after nearly getting the Apex to throw her off and was saved by Grace he tried to finish the job but failed as denizens of the train who Grace had been kind to saved her while he was killed by a Ghom and was not able to be saved by Grace due to rejecting her help.
  • His hatred of non-humans left no real allies from the Cartoon Network Deities, as the heroic deities found him too despicable while the villainous ones found him to be rather ineffective and uninteresting as an ally to their plans. As such Simon had to seek out allies in many other parts, moreso those who agreed on his points of view.
  • Simon has a hatred of all non-humans stemming from his experiences in the Infinity Train, his death at the hands of a Ghom only further deepened those feelings and seeing many non-humans in the Pantheon has made him seek out any allies who share a similar anti-nonhuman sentiment, among these allies were Bete Noire, who also advocates for the destruction of non-humans and Colonel McCullough, who despite his differing motivations does see why Simon's example is proof that humans can only truly trust one another in the end and that non-humans are their enemies and always will be.
  • Interestingly enough his actions and descent into insanity and evil due to mistrust and control issues had him reach a strange understanding with Koba, as the psychotic bonobo turned evil and cruel over his mistrust and hatred of humans, in a parallel way to how Simon's mistrust of the non-human passengers of the Infinity Train (as well as his refusal to accept the truth) led to his gradual turn to evil. Though neither cares about one another, they nonetheless have a strange mutual respect, though they won't hesitate to kill one another should they have the chance. He's also became enemies with Caesar for his hatred of non-humans and similarities to Koba, especially with how Simon killed Tuba, who acted as a caretaker to Hazel, without mercy and even bragged about it.
  • His stubborn refusal to see reality earned him an enemy in Mabel Pines, since she also vehemently rejected reality for a long time when life began to turn hard and not just something easy and simple and yet was able to eventually accept it and learn to cope with it, whereas Simon refused until he became a monster willing to do what it takes to keep his delusions "real" and silence those who claimed otherwise. For similar reasons, Dipper also became another enemy of his
    • Since he never takes responsibility for his actions, he ended up getting a lot of hatred from Bojack Horseman, who also stood a long time blaming others for his own faults before finally wising up and taking responsibility, he tried confronting Simon about it, but Simon's refusal to listen led to Bojack throwing a massive "The Reason You Suck" Speech to him in return out of frustration for his stubbornness:
Let me tell you something pal, you can't keep blaming your ex-friends, the cat who accidentally abandoned you as a child, your parents, the weird train you were in or even the conductor of that train for your issues. You're a horrible, terrible person and as long as you remain thinking that you're the only victim here you'll never be anything but a horrible person who deserves all the crap that you've gotten for your actions.
    • For similar reasons of refusing reality, he also became enemies with Catra, who like Simon felt entitled to the affections of someone she was in love with and refused to acknowledge her own bad actions even when there was no one else to blame. Unlike him, however, she was eventually able to turn good and accept her faults after they nearly cost her everything and was sorely disappointed to see that Simon never got better from his entitled and childish attitude.
    • His refusal to see himself as wrong as well as his massive selfishness in regards to the purpose of the Infinity Train made him an enemy of Finn Mertens, as the latter was once stuck in a similar train and nearly kept himself trapped forever and dragged his brother/best friend Jake along, Finn was disappointed to hear the kind of monster that Simon turned into and how he refused to see reality for what it was and instead get stuck in his own non-changing world where he's always right, his hatred and killing of multiple non-humans only furthered this feeling of hatred.
  • As he acted very entitled towards Grace, who he had feelings for, he found allies in the form of many deities whose love was also not reciprocated and reacted in violent ways to vent their frustrations. Among them stood out Gaston, who felt entitled to Belle's love and was quick to react with violence and trying to murder the Beast who she fell in love with for it, Tighten who had been rejected by Roxanne for his creepy advances and entitled attitude and felt used by Megamind empathized with Simon's feelings of Grace using him and not doing things his way, as well as lying to him about Hazel's status, with his hatred of non-humans, Simon also gained the favor of Judge Claude Frollo who similarly had a disdain for anything that wasn't "normal".
    • Gideon Graves felt really bad that he never got to "score" with the woman he loved, remising about how Ramona dumped him and he could not get her back. He also pitied how Simon was seen as "crazy" for what he believed in and his mistrust of nulls, which Gideon said there was a point to. That said, Gideon has been trying to stamp out any possible guilt Simon has, preferring to have a helpful ally with no doubts about sinking to even lower moral extremes to get what he wants, just like he does.
    • Barney Stinson, who constantly roots for the villains as he believes them to be the "heroes", felt really bad for Simon and became one of his closest allies. He lamented how Simon was lied and manipulated and how mean Grace was for not accepting his leadership and "totally justified beliefs and actions". Barney's support of his worst traits has only made Simon even worse as a person as he feels flattered that someone "gets" him in his own twisted point of view.
  • Is hated by John Kramer/The Jigsaw Killer who was frustrated to know that Simon had used experiences that were meant to change him for the better instead to become worse and worse by rejecting the reality of things until he turned outright murderous. He plans on putting Simon on one of his classic games, hoping to either kill him or make sure he learns his lesson. Simon himself views him as despicable for his games and sees no point in being forced to them as he arrogantly believes himself to be always right. That said, Kramer did hear that Simon appears to hold some guilt buried deep down and hopes he can make it come out so Simon can finally reform as a whole.
  • Why would I ever want to change if I'm always right?!

@ Daisuke: It's amusing you make Mr Burns an enemy considering he actually was a legit, though semi-competent superhero as Fruit-Bat Man

Adopted these ideas from Phantom Fire. I wouldn't be too sussed if you consider Truman too controversial, I just want to see confirmation he is

  • Harry S Truman, God of the Nuclear Option (House of Explosives, Lawful Neutral)-adopted from Phantom Fire. (In)famously, Truman is the only person to ever use nuclear weapons in a military strike, as a means of ending the Second World War. The ethics of such remain debated, and in many ways he later set the standard of nuclear weapons being a Godzilla Threshold, and ones we should never use.
  • Reverend Timothy Lovejoy, God of Hiding Behind Religion (House of Sinners, True Neutral)-Adopted from Phantom Fire. Lovejoy is a foil of sorts with the passionately religious Flanders. Though a reverend, he is burned out with faith and most of his actions are around money and influence. Such as when the Movementarians became popular he was about to pull Insurance Fraud on the church. He is religious, but he typically uses it as an excuse
  • Lampwick, God of Crying Out For One's Mother: in classic Disney nightmare fuel, Lampwick screams for his mother as he transforms into a donkey. He was a no-good punk and naughty kid, so seeing him reduced to that and reminding us he's still a kid makes the transformation all the more harrowing.

  • Pities: Jacket
  • Fears: Ruvik
  • Heralds: Traffic Light 195
  • Awakened by, of all things, an artificial intelligence inhabiting a traffic light named 195, Hal found herself without most of her memories. The only things she recalls are two names: That of her own and her teacher's, Miss Sakura. Hal would also discover she has the agility to "read" the memories she touched and using this would set off to find Miss Sakura and recover her memories. Alongside running into all sorts of oddities such as a travel hotel known as "The Whale" apparently within the apartment and various strange people and people-like things Hal would occasionally but briefly recall not-so-nice parts of her past and an ominous figure that wishes her dead. Eventually, her long journey would end off at her school to both finally find Sakura and recall all of her memories.
    • Hal has issues with being unable to speak and it's due to this she didn't have much in the way of friends with her only two companions in school being a boy named Amayumi and a girl named Anzu. Tragedy struck when the former was hospitalized from a car accident while walking with Hal and Anzu ended their friendship having both blamed her for the accident and being resentful that Amayumi didn't return her feelings as he fell for Hal instead. Her homeroom teacher, Miss Sakura, tried to reach out to her by inviting Hal to hear her stories every day though it that last as Sakura told her she would be transferred one day. With her only emotional crutch leaving her, Hal raced to a railroad crossing to take her own life and "go to the story world". At the last second her homeroom teacher went to push her away and the two ended up in the strange mental world they are in, all existing mere moments away from certain death. Sakura was the first to awake and soon figure out what was going on and used the time that she had to try and save them both. Alas, she came to the conclusion only one of them would be walking away alive, and that person had to be Hal. Hal, however, found out about this and took matters into her own hands. Not only would she succeed where her teacher failed but also confronted the other side of her that didn't want to face reality having now gained the will to face a new tomorrow.
  • She ascended to the Pantheon at some point after her adventure. Upon awakening from her slumber she looked aside her window and saw a world she did not remember. Sure enough, upon stepping outside her door she began to hear 195’s voice communicating with her. As it turned out, some of the gods here helped organize it and were happy to explain to Hal of the Pantheon and its inner workings. While she isn't unaccustomed to all sorts of strange happenings herself (partly thanks to the amnesia thing), Hal had to admit a world adhering to tropes within stories was pretty out there and specific. Still, she rolled with it in time.
  • While many gods and goddesses can attest to having some sort of Odd Friendship either from their home universe or in the Pantheon you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who is close to, of all things, a traffic light. An AI inhabiting a traffic light, to be precise, but a traffic light nonetheless. Helping that close bond is the fact that 195 is the odd one out of all the mental world’s inhabitants in that he was original to Hal’s imagination rather than Sakura’s. While not physically present in the Pantheon he continues to communicate to Hal so long as she’s there every step of the way even as his original directive has long since been fulfilled. He won’t argue with being able to see more of the world as it’s more than can be said for any other traffic light at the end of the day. A good thing too as since she’s conscious in the real world this time around she’s unable to use her psychometry-esque powers. Hal was only able to use them because, as it was her consciousness, she would be more familiar with the ins and outs of it.
  • One day while walking around the Pantheon she ended up tailing a black cat wearing a red bandana and a pomeranian, both of whom were quite talkative. 195 asked her why but Hal only came up with the fact that it was a hunch. She then asked him to translate what the two animals were saying. Turns out the cat and dog, named Sissel and Missile respectively, were out looking for some parts for a girl named Kamila as she was out making yet another machine. Since she wasn’t planning on doing anything that day Hal and 195 decided to go and help them. Sissel was surprised to be talking with a traffic light since it brings back memories to when he was first awakened by a lamp. Hal, meanwhile, was actually caught off guard by the whole “powers of the dead” thing. More-so at the fact that Sissel’s dead. But not really.
195: I suppose that would make you a literal case of Schrödinger's Cat. 195 finds that quite clever.
    Hal: Sec- sho- schdingers what?
Sissel: Heh. I get that a lot.
  • From a certain point of view, one could equate Hal’s story to that of Alice in Wonderland with the general idea of a young girl plunging into a weird yet charming world. Hal herself was surprised to be even given a chance to interact the Alice Liddell, much less have some tea with her from time to time. In each of these meetings, the only thing that remains constant is that they’re never really the same throughout.
  • As far as others who have experience exploring mental worlds go, a similar case can be made of Simon Henriksson. Hal feels for the ordeals he went through both regarding the world inside his head and in real life though at the very least he did manage to overcome his inner demons. Jacket, whose own adventure mostly took place in his own head after being put into a coma by Richter Berg’s attempt on his life. Being a former hitman, Hal would rather not meet him, though from what she heard she finds his grief for a deceased friend pitiable. On the other hand, she totally dreads Ruvik and finds his grip on his Mental World terrifying.
  • Her driving motivation as she traveled through the world was to recover her memories, following along the path in which her teacher went (though Hal finds out later she was actually retracing the road to where Sakura first woke up). While bits and pieces came back to her sparked by otherwise mundane things it was hard to actually make sense of them until the very end when she came back to her school. Hal would find that many people in the Pantheon went through similar circumstances, such is the case with Kaban, Zen, Rei, Hikari, Robin, and Terra. She would bond with them over this aspect, although she finds their cases pretty grand when compared to hers. Of them all, Hal is particularly close to Hikari since she too suffered from ostracization that soon spiraled into a catatonic depression but both are thankful enough to bounce back from it and continue doing what they’re passionate about. Often, she often assists the young aspiring film-maker in her projects. Behind her is Kaban and Serval since Hal likes to tag along with them in their new adventures in the Pantheon sometimes and Terra given she served as a mother-like figure for the orphaned children of Mobliz which reminded Hal easily connected to Ms. Sakura thanks to reminding her of her own late mother.
  • For long-distance travel in her world, Hal utilized transfer portals found throughout various points that connected to her room in The Whale though as the world started to decay and draw to a close they were rendered inoperable save for the one that was fixed by Stein, and even then that was a one-time use. In the Pantheon, she does the same but its sheer size doesn’t make it viable as a main mode of transportation. She once thought of the West Coast Cabbies, but given their expertise behind the wheel 195 quickly put an end to that thought even as Hal insisted to try at least once. She ended up settling on some special shortcuts encountered when, after stopping to listen to Kass’s performances, lamented at how she was in for a really long walk to get back to her temple (and the heavy weather at the time didn’t help). Overhearing her, the Ruto bard pointed out some special he found in his travels to easier traverse the Pantheon. Hal thanked him for the help as she took one to the Hall of Gaming Genres as she encountered one of the transfer portals there. Before that, though, she stopped by the temple of the Nintendogs and Nintencats. She had a good time.
    Hal: So fluffy.
  • Hal is quite a talented artist and is well-versed in its various elements. Hal became discouraged from doing so when Anzu defaced one of her paintings and guilt-tripped her about the incident with Amayumi but she picked up again as a reason to continue moving forward and face reality. She has since frequented the House of Craft for this very reason. On one of her trips, she was surprised to encounter Romo, Lola, and Quill who are a trio of living painting people whose world was originally divided by castes based on one’s completeness until they worked to finish the painting they resided in. On another trip, she came across Rudy Tabootie and Snap White as she was curious about the ChalkZone. All was normal until Chameleos busted in (long story) and started running amok, in the process snatching Hal’s bag though they came along and helped fix things earning her thanks. Ever since she frequented the House it made Hal curious if she can try and bring to life her own artwork.
Hal: I wonder if there’s some sort of magic pencil I can use to create living pieces too.
195: Do you think something that like exists here?
    Hal: Maybe?
  • As one can expect from being illiterate due to memory loss this severely hindered her efforts to find out what the heck is going on. It was only after sneaking through the Mirage Library did she manage to regain this ability and she first put it to good use by reading a torn news article about the aforementioned accident involving Amayumi in the library’s basement. After regaining literacy she began keeping a dream journal. 195, meanwhile, assigned her to read all sorts of books. He soon got the hint to slow down on that after she talked to the Whale’s manager about that (195 thought she could have at least told him directly…) but he still encouraged her to read. Going back to the dream journal one of her entries recounts her encounter with a girl named Madotsuki. While she was nice enough to talk to and be around, Hal still couldn’t help but be a tad unnerved by her in the end.
  • While making a trip to the House of Food she alerted to a strange, shadowy figure by 195. As turned it out it was Sans and his first act of business was to prank her in their first meeting. Papyrus appeared not that long after, but not without announcing himself, and the three ended up traveling there together. After arriving, Papyrus offered to show off his cooking as he made great leaps of skill as of late but Hal chose to follow Sans’ advice and just stuck with what she originally ordered. They're quite the blast to hang around. When it comes to the two brothers, Hal couldn’t help but be reminded of Scull, a skeleton who was protesting outside the Mirage Museum though neither of them gave off that intense aura like he did at first.
  • If it wasn’t obvious before, Hal was pretty attached to her old homeroom teacher, to the point of being a Living Emotional Crutch although she soon got over this. Part of the symbol associated with her in the Pantheon, that being the blue shoes, was a gift by her teacher. While they are adult-sized, Sakura hoped that by the time Hal was able to wear them things would have already gotten better for her. Sure enough, after her adventure it's seen that Hal is not only wearing them but also took after beloved homeroom teacher through becoming one herself and continuing the tradition with her students. For this reason, she’s on good terms with many of the nicer teachers in the Pantheon. On the other side of the coin, she finds teachers like Agatha Trunchbull and Terence Fletcher reprehensible for their methods. Even when it was brought up how the latter does pull out his pupils’ potential Hal brings up that at the end of the day he’s still chasing the tail of other people’s fame and it doesn’t at all excuse any of the horrible things he has done either.
  • When it comes to others who have suffered ostracization she can relate with Shoko and Chihiro. While she’s not deaf like Shoko, she did have trouble speaking at all thanks to her nervousness and sympathizes for the bullying Shoko went through because of it. Hal was surprised to hear she was accompanied by Shoya Ishida, a boy who relentlessly bullied Shoko and forced her to transfer schools. At first, she was skeptical of him but hearing of his own turmoil and work to become a better person and make up for what he did soften Hal’s perception of him. As for Chihiro, his issue stemmed from his lack of physical strength which forced him to. Hal was sad to hear his will to change didn’t end well for him and while Chihiro agrees he also takes solace in the fact that his achievements helped his friends in the end too, to say nothing of the fact that thanks to the Pantheon he gets to spend time with them again and grow from there. On the topic of his achievements, she finds his technological know-how impressive even if she isn’t able to wrap her head around all the science-y things like 195. On the times she stops by it’s the AI that tends to get in lengthy conversations with the former Ultimate like with Stein, a mouse engineer within The Whale.
    • On the other side of the coin are the bullies and the Pantheon has a bunch of them. Standing out among them are the likes of Gary Smith, a sociopath who sought to take over Bullworth Academy through manipulating everyone even including its staff, and John Kreese, a ruthless mentor who runs a Thug Dojo and holds a brutal merciless worldview but also doesn’t tolerate anything less than first place. Luckily for Hal, she wouldn’t have to worry about them too much. After hearing her story Jimmy Hopkins came and visited her one day telling her that if people like them start to cause her trouble she can call him so that they get what’s coming to them. Hal would personally not stoop to that route at all but at the very least appreciates his willingness to help.
  • One of the figures she met in her mental adventure was an AI taking the form of a giant eyeball named 0 who she first encountered when trying to get a water supply facility back up and running again. Although ominous with a goal to dominate the world (with all the hamminess that comes with it) Hal still treated him the same as she does with the other residents of the world. Despite being built up with some ulterior motives, 0 ended up taking the fall for 195’s self-destruction when the latter forced control over Hal to get her out of danger although due to 0’s nature he wouldn’t be remembered for his sacrifice. This would be remedied in the Pantheon as Hal would properly give him the respect he deserved for that. She thought that he came back when he heard of a deity that shared his name and matched the descriptor but was bummed out when it was a different, more malicious Zero that was aligned to Dark Matter. Still, she’s not terribly worried in the end. She figured that since he and the other Dark Matter members were beaten by Kirby once before there’s nothing stopping it from happening again. Kirby’s strong, after all, and so are the other gods here.

@Simon Laurent: Enemies with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, who would also be concerned that his cognition is so severely distorted to outright reject any truth in front of him that doesn't match his worldview. They would certainly desire to change his heart for the sake of those he wishes dead as well as for his own sake.
