Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

After what felt like every assignment, exam, family dinner, and assorted other priority showing up in my schedule at once, I finally got a chance to fulfil some of the requests I got for my Pantheon drafts.

Here's my draft for the Dark Judges. For interactions, I'd be interested in heroic characters who are well-known for fighting against omnicidal villains. They'd make interesting enemies to the Dark Judges. Also, other suggestions for tweaks to this draft are welcome as always.

The Dark Judges

Judge Death, Judge Fear, Judge Fire and Judge Mortis, Gods of Punishing All Crime With Death (All: The Dark Judges | Death: Sydney De'Ath, Jay De'Ath | Fire: Fuego)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/justice_overdeities_dark_judges_2435.jpg
From left to right: Judge Fear, Judge Death, Judge Mortis, and Judge Fire
  • Hall: Tainted Law
  • Greater Gods
  • Symbol: Belt buckle shaped like a human skull with extended fangs, a Shrunken Head, a flame-spewing trident, stylized sheep skull
  • Theme Song: Darkness Descends
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, thinking themselves Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Judgment, Death, Fear, Fire, Decay, Evil, Omnicide
  • Heralds: Phobia and Nausia
  • Allies: The Joker, Nekron, Thaal Sinestro, The Batman who Laughs, The White, Majin Buu, Broly, The Lich, Death Phantom, The Brainspawn
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork With: Archaon the Everchosen, Zamasu
  • Enemies: EVERYONE, but especially Judge Dredd, The Houses of Life and Vitality and Death and Postmortem, Cosmos, Gaea, YHVH, Batman, Superman, Madoka Kaname, Yusuke Godai, Avatar Aang, Gandalf, Son Goku, Darkseid, King Dedede, the Lobotomy Corporation, Yveltal, Touko Aozaki
  • Respect: Light Yagami, Teru Mikami, Sergey Taboritsky, Seryu Ubiquitous (all one-sided)
  • To Be Kept Away From: Punishing Bird, Judgement Bird, and Big Bird, The Batter
  • Four Judges from an alternate dimension that killed everyone from their world. The reason being that Judge Death and his cohorts believed that since only The Living commit crimes then all Life as a crime thus the only true punishment for that was Death. The movement started when Death, born Sydney De'Ath, the sadistic son of an equally sadistic serial killer, convinced his colleagues of his philosophy. At one point they met two witches who transformed them into undead spirits, so they may continue their mission of total death without hypocrisy. With this belief, having already succeeded in their own world, they traveled to the world of Judge Dredd to kill every living thing there. They ascended to the Pantheon as well with the same mission. These four have long since become undead spirits and cannot be permanently killed only contained, each Dark Judge inhabits a corpse and that corpse will shape to their liking before they start "judging" others.
    • Judge Death, born Sydney De'Ath, is the leader and the founder of the Dark Judges. He's able to phase through people and crush their organs, which is his signature method. He is seen often working with the darker gods of death to help him punish the living. It was Death who first came up with the idea of taking the Dark Judges' mission to other dimensions; something his colleagues were originally iffy on, but eventually took part in.
    • Judge Fear is second in command and he opens his helmet's faceplate and frightens the accused to death with whatever lies within, whilst reciting his catch phrase, "Gaze into the face of Fear!" (though that failed against Dredd). Death and Mortis think he can be too secretive, but work with him anyways.
    • Judge Fire, born "Fuego", wields a flaming trident in order to start massive fires. He is attempting to spread his fire further along with Starjun. Despite the fact that Death and Mortis worry he can be too emotional in his mission, they consider him a valuable asset anyways.
    • Judge Mortis is attempting with his cold touch to rapidly age people to death. He is attempting to bring in Barragan to work with them on their plans. He's also probably the one most of one mind with Judge Death, as he's wholly obsessed with omnicide and so is considered Death's most trustworthy ally.
  • They intentionally found their way into the Pantheon in the hopes of killing everyone not just in the world, but the whole multiverse. Together they have killed 60 million citizens and are waiting to spread into the Pantheon to do so much more. They are willing to work with any like minded members to start to upgrade their body count to any living members of the Pantheon. The Lich and Death Phantom have especially taken an interest in the four; very much agreeing with their philosophy of life being a crime. The Lich speculates that they are fellow Scholars of GOLB. As for Death Phantom, he and Judge Death see eye-to-eye as they were both ex-humans who joined the forces of death.
  • Since ascending, the Dark Judges have worked to get some allies in their cause of omnicide. They are attempting to recruit The Joker, who joined them at one point, to reuinite with them; he did, but the Joker is more distant since he doesn't care for wiping out everyone and just wants an excuse to kill people. Death and his group insist on working with Nekron and his GUAD, all willing to except Black Lantern Rings to end all life everywhere. Fear meanshile is attempting to work with Thaal Sinestro and bring him to their cause, he would also gladly except a Sinestro Corp ring to further enhance his killings. The Batman who Laughs didn't even need to be invited, and simply joined them automatically due to his similarities with Judge Death.
  • As is to be expected, Judge Dredd is their arch-enemy just as he is in their home 'verse, as is Batman due to their association with the Joker. However they've also made enemies out of just about any All-Loving Hero in the Pantheon — Superman, Madoka Kaname, Yusuke Godai, Avatar Aang, Gandalf, Son Goku, etc. — and just about anyone who values life. Judge Dredd helped explain to these heroes what he learned in fighting the Dark Judges; namely that their tactics are very predictable. Cosmos, one of the heads of the GUAG, has declared themselves and their Alliance to be sworn enemies of the Dark Judges in order to defend life. Pretty much everybody that values life in at all is bound to be their enemy, though the extent to which they fight obviously varies from person to person.
    • Surprisingly (or perhaps not), YHVH considers them a grave threat and ordered his servants to oppose them. His official reasoning is that "All Are Equal in Death and equality is wrong!", but more practically speaking it's because 1) many among his followers were already enemies with the Dark Judges and because 2) YHVH sees a twisted mirror image of his own Law in them. Their ideology is a horrific extreme form of the legalism YHVH cherishes, and (though he'll never admit it publically) that thought troubles him.
  • For rather obvious reasons, they are staunch mutial enemies with everyone in the House of Life and Vitality, much with their whole "kill everyone" thing. Interestingly, they're also in the bad books of in the House of Death and Postmortem. Most people in the latter house don't care much for killing everybody. Hades put it best in saying, "Do you think I need MORE subjects?"
    • Of all the halls in the House of Life and Vitality, the Dark Judges particularly loathe the Hall of Forms of Immortality (along with other immortal entities). No matter what the Dark Judges to to these people, they just! KEEP! Coming! BACK! They find people like Yveltal and Touko Aozaki the most annoying, since they managed to kill them before, but they refuse to STAY dead. Had only they had the power to, the Dark Judges would destroy that hall several times over.
    • In the House of Death and Postmortem, the Dark Judges are interested in the various death personifications, such as the members of the Grand Judges of Death. The Dark Judges are very annoyed that these entities see themselves as neutral arbiters instead of using their powers to wipe everyone out. Most of these Grim Reaper types just see ending lives as their jobs, and so aren't the biggest fans of drastically expanding their workload for no good reason.
  • Not all their comrades in the omnicidal crusade really like them. Zamasu for example sides with them in wanting to exterminate all sentient life, but he's so confident in himself that he sees the Dark Judges as competition, as he considers himself the only one truly able to do it. But he had to swallow his pride (almost choking in the process) for just one moment in the name of finding allies. The Dark Judges for their part find Zamasu to be awfully selfish and are annoyed by his hatred for mortals in particular (as they were once human), yet still admire his commitment to "justice". None of these differences are really enough for them to flat-out hate each other though. Yet another omnicidal deity is Archaon the Everchosen, though neither of them admire each other as they have different reasons for what they do: the Dark Judges act out of sadism and pseudo-justice while Archaon is just acting out of angst.
  • They've shown interest in some others in the Pantheon who hold to their All Crimes Are Equal logic, though some of them don't like getting this interest. Some among them are Sergey Taboritsky and Seryu Ubiquitous. On Taboritsky's part, the Dark Judges applauded the lengths the Mad Regent went to in enforcing justice. The Regent's response? He condemned them as "madmen with a perverse philosophy", apparently unaware of the immense irony of that statement. On Seryu's part, the Dark Judges applauded her commitment to justice, and told her that she "would be a true hero" if she "would just go one step further". Seryu was quite disgusted by the suggestion and told the Dark Judges that her zeal is for the well-being of the Empire's people. In both cases, the Dark Judges are mostly just disappointed that they lost potential allies.
  • On that point: Though Light Yagami doesn't believe that All Crimes Are Equal, he still got the attention of the Dark Judges for his Death Note. At times, they tried to convince him to use his Death Note on all of the living. Other times, they've asked him to lend them the Death Note so they can enact "true" justice. In all cases, he's refused the deal; for all his fault Light does recognize that living isn't a crime, much less one deserving of death.
    • Teru Mikami, Light's Psycho Supporter, has also drawn the ire of the Dark Judges but for different reasons. Teru is even more fanatically devoted to killing criminals than Light is, and Judge Death speculated they might be able to use some of that fanaticism for themselves. They tried reaching out to him, explaining that everyone does some bad things — but Teru is so convinced that some people are just "good" and some are just "evil" that the Dark Judges may as well have been talking to a brick wall. That they've killed people he counts as "good" is the end of the story for him. Plus, he's devoted to Light, so there's no way he'd intentionally do something his god would frown upon.
  • They have "creative differences" (for lack of a better term) with Darkseid. Both Darkseid and the Dark Judges are profoundly anti-life, yet their solutions to the problems of existance differ. Darkseid wants to control everything and erase everybody's free will in order to prevent any form of disobedience. The Dark Judges on the other hand think that's still too risky which is why they opt for omnicide. Judge Death, in probably the first instance of anyone saying so, called Darkseid a "naive optimist" who doesn't understand how to be "practical". Darkseid for his part pointed out that eliminating all life would mean there's no society for law to apply to in the first place . . . to which Death said that no concept of law also means no concept of crime, and therefore no crime!
  • Evil minds (heh) think alike, as the Brainspawn has a positive opinion of the Dark Judges and their mission. The sentient brains have become patrons to the Dark Judges and seek to help them in omnicide in the name of punishing crime. However, as they constitute life, the Dark Judges intend to kill the Brainspawn later on in their mission. The Brainspawn actually know this, yet they tolerate the Dark Judges since they believe themselves strong enough to be able to beat them.
  • While just about everyone is scared of them to some extent, King Dedede in particular is petrified of the Dark Judges a specific reason: he's vulnerable to Demonic Possession, a power that they have. However Dedede doesn't have much more to worry about than any other deity would for two reasons. Firstly, the Dark Judges have bigger fish to fry. Secondly, the effort it would take to possess Dedede consistently would draw the attention of Kirby, and (as weird as it sounds) the Dark Judges are utterly horrified of facing Kirby. They've made a deal with the Dark Matter Horde that the Horde would keep Kirby tied down so that the Judges would never have to face the pink horror.
  • They are fascinated by the story of Punishing Bird, Judgement Bird, and Big Bird. Those three birds heard a prophecy that a beast would come to their forest to destroy everything in it. To stop the "beast", they adopted an All Crimes Are Equal outlook that drove them to murder the forest-dwellers — unknowingly becoming the very "beast" of prophecy. Judgement Bird in particular interests them, due to his rigged scales that declare everyone guilty. Judge Death was able to deduce that, despite their similar mindsets, the birds would never knowingly join the Dark Judges (and might even see them as "the beast"). So instead the Dark Judges settled for planning to release all three at once, run away from the Hall of Destinies, and hope the ensuing "Apocalypse Bird" kills everyone there. The Lobotomy Corporation got wind of this plan, and so put in a few extra measures to prevent the Dark Judges from getting near their cells.
  • They heard that the Batter had great powers and mass-murdery tendencies, and so planned to meet up with him . . . but they learned that the Batter's time in the Pantheon had partially mellowed him out. Partially. He's cozied up with the GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood and with Papyrus (long story) who managed to partially rein in his violent impulses. But the Dark Judges believe they can get him back to his old ways if they just get to talk to him. In turn, the Magical Girls put in measures to prevent the Batter from ever crossing paths with them.

The Auditors of Reality are essentially universal bureaucrats that find life itself to make their work much harder and tedious to manage (and they really like order and silence) so they'd approve of the Dark Judges' work. I think the profile is sufficient to be approved anyway so [tup]

[up][up] Spider-Man, The Scarlet Spiders, Eddie Brock/Venom, Flash Thompson/Agent Anti-Venom and The Venom Symbiote have repeatedly fought against Cletus Kasady/Carnage. A nihilistic superpowered Serial Killer that eventually decided to go full Omnicidal Maniac.

@Cardboard Bot I have to agree, they're not doing so well. [tup] to the purge.

@RJ for Doctor Destiny, Doctor Strange has regularly fought against the Fear Lord, Nightmare. I also think it may be better to change the second paragraph a little bit. It seems kind of underwhelming to read that Melkor tried tormenting some people through their dreams, but was stopped by a bunch of people irritated about what he was doing. The He-Man mistaking him for Skeletor felt a bit weak too. Maybe keep Melkor's involvement but instead have some significant members of the Hall of Dreams and Nightmares take specific notice of what's going on and be the ones to stop it. It help give specific reason to why he's enemies to the members of the Hall, instead of just being another evil resident.

@Crimson Shark, for some ideas for Vader I have some Fallen Heroes and some Crossover content.

Here's the first draft of The Cat. The resident mascot of Dr. Seuss's works, The Cat wonders the world looking for others to teach his chaotic manners of fun. While he often creates a huge mess, he's nice enough to clean it up afterwards.

So I already have a solid number of gods who'd enjoy his antics, so how about the oposite? Anyone that would dislike fun and how the Cat tries to spread it?

Seems like some of my ideas were mostly glossed over. Oh well.

Purges All of the Senran Kagura deities need to be reworked or removed as they do not reach modern profile standards. They lack the minimum of 10 4-line paragraphs. The only one which barely passes the criteria is Homura, and that's count the paragraphs where the 4th line isn't even halfway through. Reworks Hank J Wimbelton needs a rework to be up-to-date due to a new installment of Madness Combat that reveals that there are three Hanks, which means he must be made into a group profile.

Reasoning for the trope he holds, Gorn: His source material, Madness Combat, is all about it. The series admits it has little to no reason as for why all the insanity and violence is happening, the bloodshed. It's all just there for senseless fun. Hank is the main source of the Gorn, being the main character.

I have an idea for giving Saving Christmas to Olive, the Other Reindeer. She travels to the North Pole after learning that Blitzen, one of Santa's reindeer, has been injured, and mishearing "all of the other reindeer" on the radio as "Olive, the other reindeer" in order to get Christmas back on track, all while having to go up against a Postman who hates Christmas and has a grudge against Santa. Would that work?

First-time poster here and I have a question, might be obvious but just wanna make sure. Is it fine if the order I work on profiles doesn't match the order in which I propose the suggestions?

To explain, the profile idea I have right now might not be the first one I'll ascend. It will probably act as a group profile (I was advised to do a single character profile for a first attempt) and I have to catch up a bit on the source material; I doubt the later installments ruin my candidate's chances for the trope, but they will add to the profile.

I proposed the Alternates, then the Bloody Battlers, and then Mark Heathcliff.

I ascended the Alternates, but instead of moving on to the Bloody Battlers, I have went to work on Heathcliff.

It's okay to not do profiles in the order you suggested them.

[up][up][up], [up][up]Alright then, thanks. Guess there's no harm in suggesting this guy now. note

Suggesting: BoBoiBoy as the god of Elemental Personalities Reasoning: The titular hero has 7 Elemental Powers, each of them forming a physical counterpart with a distinct personality. To summarise from his example on the trope page:

Side-note: Reason why I said it'd be a group profile is that I might refer to all 7 elementals as well as the original him.

Draft for Olive the Other Reindeer.

She misheard a message on the radio and set out to the North Pole with help of her con-artist penguin friend Martini. She remained determined even as others pointed out that she doesn't resemble a reindeer at all. She was able to get some rowdy bar patrons to stand down and battled against a Christmas-hating Postman who had a grudge against Santa.

A part of me is curious about what that alternate suggestion for Saving Christmas was (and I had at least a couple other ideas for Olive including Ass in a Lion Skin since the story revolves around her claiming to be a reindeer despite being pointed out otherwise, but I had doubts on whether these ideas could work), but for now, I'm looking for additional interactions for her.

Olive, the Other Reindeer, Goddess of Saving Christmas

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rszolive.png
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: Her antler headband
  • Theme Music: Merry Christmas After All
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Heroic Dog, Plucky Girl, Insists she’s a Reindeer, Talking Animal, Went up Against a Postman, Misheard “All of the Other Reindeer” on the Radio
  • Domains: Christmas, Animals
  • Heralds: Tim (her owner), Fido the Flea, Martini the Penguin
  • Allies: Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Madagascar Penguins
  • Enemies: Robot Santa Claus, SCP-4666, Winterbolt
  • It’s almost Christmas and Blitzen suffering a leg injury threatens to put a stop to the holiday spirit. After mishearing a message on the radio, a dog named Olive sets out to the North Pole to fulfill her mission, even if no one believes that she’s actually a reindeer. Along the way, she finds herself up against a Postman who hates Christmas due to the additional work it imposes on him and has a grudge against Santa Claus, being the one responsible for sending St. Nick mean-spirited letters. After foiling The Postman’s plot, Olive helps Santa deliver the gifts around the world and is appropriately rewarded for her efforts by being gifted an antler headband.
  • Christmastime was approaching once more and Olive was looking forward to it, but a letter addressed to her promised to make this particular Christmas interesting. The letter was written by Santa himself, who wanted to meet with Olive to discuss something that would fascinate her. Following another round of delivering gifts around the world, Santa would tell her about a world known as the Pantheon, where many places familiar and unusual were mixed together alongside a variety of individuals who had their own ways of celebrating Christmas. Olive was both intrigued and worried about what it was like to be part of many other places she never traveled to, especially since it could mean someone else may try to ruin the holidays to a greater extent than what The Postman attempted. Despite her concerns, Santa has been involved with delivering presents throughout the Pantheon during Christmas for a very long time and has given Olive plenty of effective advice on how to make the most of living in an unorthodox world. Knowing that she helped Santa’s spirits back then, Olive figured it made sense for him to return the favor (beyond just getting a nice headband) in helping her keep her pluckiness in a more challenging setting.
  • Knowing how many mythical entities and urban legends are alive in the Pantheon, this meant that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was not an urban legend. It didn’t take long for Olive to find the Red-Nosed Reindeer and given how she got along with Santa’s other reindeer, she easily befriended Rudolph for they were able to help Christmas despite the odds being against them. She learned that Rudolph was able to do more than just save Christmas, including getting the New Year to go smoothly and his encounters with the nefarious Winterbolt, an wicked wizard who wanted to take back the North Pole from Santa. Intense blizzards was a challenge even for Olive’s keen sense of smell, but seeing as how many are opposed to Winterbolt’s plans, she’s done what she can to help her Christmas-based allies prevent him from getting revenge.
  • Martini is a con artist penguin who helped Olive get to the North Pole and thwart The Postman’s plot. She heard about a group of eccentric penguins and when she discovered a quartet of penguins from Central Park Zoo, she found them to be even more strange than Martini. What was just as bizarre was that these penguins also subbed for Santa’s reindeer when St. Nick suffered amnesia and his reindeer refused to work for anyone else when the Zoosters took over for Santa. The Madagascar Penguins took things as if they were in a spy story, but knowing that Olive was friends with a penguin, the quartet was willing to get along with her and provide her with some resources to use if she ends up in a dicey spot.
  • Beyond Winterbolt wanting the North Pole for himself, there were plenty of holiday-themed enemies for Olive to worry about. While The Postman was merely a petty jerk, there were far more actively malicious figures that threatened Christmas and those who celebrate it. Having worked with Santa to bring Christmas cheer, she sees Robot Santa Claus with his ridiculous standards on what “naughty and nice” is, and SCP-4666’s horrifying actions as affronts not just to the holidays, but to Santa’s good name in general. As someone who played a support role as a replacement reindeer and not someone who directly gets involved in fights, Olive knows that going up against these dangerous foes would lead to great danger and it’s largely up to more capable figures to put a stop to their rampage.

[up] There was this interesting episode in Fairly Oddparents where Timmy Turner wished for Christmas Every Day, and one of the side effects was mailmen and dogs actually being friendly to one another overall until that ended. The Grinch also dressed up his dog Max as a reindeer and tried to ruin Christmas before changing heart and bringing back the presents he stole. There is also a Flo "the Waitress" (among other restaurant-related work) in the Pantheon that is not the Postman in disguise. Chopper is also a reindeer who is a highly skilled doctor and someone Olive would want to see if one of Santa's reindeers has an injury.

I'd also like to nominate Sophiana for Tiny Tim Template.

Reason: She is a poor orphan with a humble appearance and has to walk with a cane due to a leg injury from a car crash that also killed her parents. Despite being bullied by other orphans for her disability and the orphanage's manager is just as harsh on her, she maintains a very positive and determined attitude that gets her to retrieve Santa's stolen sack (which caused Christmas to be cancelled for 30 years), so she ends up saving a holiday she never experienced.

Suggestion:

The Prophet, The Omniscient

Reasoning: The Prophet has foresaw literally everything that will happen, up until the end, all by simply predicting it. Thus, he knows literally everything. He knows what he will do, he knows what others will do, he knows what everyone thinks. He knows everything. Every death. Every accident. Every tragedy. Every miracle. You get the idea. It's best explained by this short text describing him.

"Enslaved by fate, he foresees, and makes it true. With dull eyes, he looks forward to the end of the line, after which the rest is blank."

He has made up everything that will happen, and as a result, knows everything that will happen.

Anyways, for something more lighthearted, here's this

I made Babidi a long time ago. I'm wondering if anyone wants to rework and retool it to keep it up with the times. Same with my Raditz profile

I also think once the Scarlet and Violet hype is done we need to take another look at Pokémon and see what works and what doesn't. There are a number of profiles that come off as underdeveloped

If it's the latter one, there's plenty of Wrestlers here.
    • Brian - Loner Teen Genius? Sounds like Jane Lane and Daria Morgendorffer. Also maybe Peter Parker as he is also once a Teen Genius who has baggage both in his superhero life as well as his personal life.
  • Other allies
    • Mary Jane Watson - "she kept up a constant Fun Personified party-animal persona to cover up for how miserable her home life was."
    • Danny, Sam and Tucker - misunderstood misfit friends who are treated as one of the "unpopular" kids until the finale of their story

  • Enemies: Libby Chessler and Biff Tannen - Classic Alpha Bitch and Jerk Jock respectively

@DoodSlayer136 - Cat in the Hat
@r-lock256 - Olive, the Other Reindeer There's more in the example page under Western Animation but I'm a bit unsure atm to pick which one to add more of them without being redundant.
