Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up] There was also that one episode in Mysterious Incorporated.

@ faso: Possible interactions with Robert the Tire and Reptilicus? They aren't exactly what one could call serious either.

Looking back at it, was there anyone who wanted to use Divergent Character Evolution? Or was it one of those things that people kept asking "who would fit it" a bunch of times on this forum before it got dropped?

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

Hanna Barbara was one of the OG expanded universes. The Universal Monsters series might be the first cinematic universe

Alright, what should I add to these two?

Dr Robert Scranton, God of Isolation-Induced Madness (the victim of SCP-3001, possibly SCP-106)

  • House: Causes of Madness (House of Insanity)
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: "Red", the blinking light that was his only companion
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (might become Chaotic Evil as SCP-106)
  • Portfolio: Happily Married, Companion Cube, Apparently Trapped In The Void Between the Worlds, Going Insane Because Of That, Ascended Extra, Sanity Slippage, There Being Multiple Takes On Him, Body Horror, Dying Declaration of Love Uncertain Doom, Possibly The Origin Of SCP-106
  • Domains: Isolation, Decay, Dimensions, Research, Loneliness, Void, Suffering
  • Part of: The SCP Foundation
  • Complicated relationship with: SCP-106 (potential future self)
  • Allies: The Men in Black, The Five Survivors, Flandre Scarlet, Professor Paradox, Brook, Albert Einstein, Alphys, Danny Fenton
  • On speaking terms with: Pinbacker, all who have undergone his fate
  • Enemies: AM, Ramsay Bolton, SCP-682, Dark Danny
  • Fears: Zeratul
  • Doctor Robert Scranton is an SCP Foundation researcher, behind the creation of the Scranton Reality Anchors and researcher into altered states of reality. He ended up stuck in SCP-3001, a non-dimension with absolutely nothing but his own body and red blinking light as company. Where he couldn't die. for over five years. Naturally, the experience has driven him insane.
  • Only part of Dr Scranton's body made it out, and it's unclear if the rest is still alive. Being in the void of SCP-3001 has severely degraded his body and the benevolent deities of the House of Other Dimensions are working to find and pull the rest of him out. They only succeeded with part of his head, which requires extensive new cybernetics provided by the pantheon to communicate. While "alive" here, he finds it a miserable experience.
  • One of the reasons people want to see him reconstructed is so he can further his study on altered reality and alternate dimensions, assuming he isn't too traumatized to do so. The Scranton Reality Anchors keep reality stable and normal, nullifying reality bending. With so many reality benders in the pantheon, this is pretty useful. How it compares to the likes of, say Whis is as of yet untested.
  • Albert Einstein is interested in the research Dr Scranton has put into altered states of reality and wants to compare it to his own theories of relativity, light and space-time. Alphys seems interested in helping with his research, and Scranton wants to help her as well. Both pity the man's current state.
  • Professor Paradox had a similar experience of being stuck in an empty dimension alone, but for a far longer 100,000 years. And as miserable as it was, he overcame it and has become an expert at time manipulation. He wants to help Scranton escape or, if that's not possible, grow stronger from the experience. Sadly most believe it's a lost cause.
  • Those who have underwent maddening isolation or And I Must Scream situations are naturally sympathetic to him. Pinbacker, having suffered Space Madness, does pity him despite Dr Scranton refusing to devolve into omnicidal mania. Brook and Flandre Scarlet were alone for quite some time and brought them to the brink/past the brink of madness, so they feel bad for Scranton.
  • He relates his condition most of all to the Five Survivors, namely Ted. Incredibly he actually considers them worse off than him, as while complete isolation and Body Horror was horrifying being tortured by an extremely malevolent super-computer for over a century longer than his own condemnation is worse. He is horrified and disgusted by AM. Both AM and Ramsay Bolton boast that they can exceed his suffering.
  • Absolutely terrified of Zeratul, due to his Power of the Void. Given how much time he spent in a complete void and what it did to him, it's perfectly justified. And while he will research the House of Other Dimensions for the SCP Foundation, he refuses to enter in fear of falling into similar or even worse dimensions. Again, it's perfectly justified.
  • This tale suggests that he will one day become SCP-106, driven into predatory insanity from his decay and isolation. This is only one of three pasts for 106...assuming there's only one of SCP-106. Dark Danny is interested in this and wants to see this future happen, which Danny Fenton is fighting to prevent.

SCP-073, God of Practical Uses Of Powers (Cain)

Fan depiction of SCP-073
  • Votes: 1(nightelf37)
  • House: Support Powers (House of Power)
  • Intermediate God (Euclid by SCP standards)
  • Symbol: The Mark of Cain on his forehead
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Attack Reflector, Photographic Memory Used For Data Storage, The Original Cain Turned Nice Guy, Creepy Monotone, Real Men Eat Meat As He Withers Plants Around Him, Still Feels Pain From Injuries On Him, The Stoic, Nigh-Invulnerable, Artificial Limbs
  • Domains: Memory, Cybernetics, Immortality, Decay, Data Storage, Power Reflection
  • Under watch by: The SCP Foundation
  • Interests: The Admins
  • Allies: Wobbufett, Android 21, Wikipe-tan and Trope-tan, Chuck Bartowski, Jack Harkness
  • On speaking terms with: Chuck Shurley, God(God, the Devil and Bob)
  • Enemies: Vril Dox/Brainiac, Vandal Savage, Voldemort, Szilard Quates, The Cybermen
  • Slightly annoyed by: Ned Flanders
  • No comment: YHVH, Naoya
  • Avoids: The House of Plants, The Mage of the Beginning
  • Pities: Kenny McCormick
  • SCP-073. Class: Euclid. SCP-073 is an enigmatic cyborg human who refers to itself as Cain. He has the ability to reflect any damage inflicted on him, and causes plants to wither near him. Most useful is his perfect recall and photographic memory. For this reason, he serves as the data storage for the SCP Foundation.
  • Appears to be the Cain from The Bible. Despite his reputation as the first murderer, he's an amiable figure. It's his brother, SCP-076-2 aka "Able", who's an Ax-Crazy lunatic. This is believed to be a consequence of said murder and his Attack Reflector. Ned Flanders started getting angry at him for being Cain, and while he annoyed 073 a bit Flanders eventually realized he was mistaken in judging him. After all, the scriptures never said Cain remained evil until the end.
  • Naoya is the reincarnation of Cain, retaining his old memories. With the SCP multiverse being what it is, whether they were ever the same person is unclear but 073 is of the belief that Naoya is his Alternate Self. YHVH is also of this belief, but has no interest in the SCP as it is not the Cain who opposes him. SCP-073 hasn't mentioned and probably doesn't even know if YHVH has any relation to any being it has known. 073 doesn't care about Him, but he is friendly with Chuck Shurley and God(God, the Devil and Bob), which further hints at his Biblical origins.
  • Vandal Savage insists that he is the real Cain, with the Mark of Cain to prove it. SCP-073 flat out stated that Vandal almost certainly isn't, and at the best is just another Alternate Self who remains stuck in his evil ways. The Contemporary Caveman scoffs at 073, believing he's wasting his perfect recall and powers and should be using them for evil like himself. When it comes to Kane, he remains neutral on him and his claims of being the Cain.
  • Has spent some in the House of Memories, out of curiosity due to his perfect recall. He has come to feel sympathetic towards Android 21, due to suffering from Identity Amnesia. Her scientist good side is fascinated by him. Her evil half merely wants to eat him. It is unclear how the Attack Reflector would deal with transformation and assimilation, but even if the latter works it would probably poison and kill her. The SCP Foundation has zero interest in letting this happen.
  • It is unknown how the Mage of the Beginning's ability to possess her killer would work if she was killed in assaulting SCP-073. They have no intention to ever come close enough to find out. It is also unknown how it would relate to Wobbuffet's own power of reflecting attacks. They aren't trying to find out, but so far the two seem to be civil.
  • While immortal, he still feels pain from damage inflicted and reflected. For this reason, he feels pretty bad for Kenny McCormick as he keeps dying and coming back, and it always hurts. Cain at least keeps his original body. He seems to be friendly with Jack Harkness, another man who's inexplicably immortal. Unfortunately this led to Voldemort being very interested in the idea of making SCP-073 a horcrux, as no-one could destroy it. It's unclear if 073 is even compatible however.
  • Because of his ability to function as a data storage, both Wikipe-tan and Trope-tan are fond of him. So is Chuck Bartowski. The Admins are very interested by his capabilities. This has led to the attention of the Cybermen and Brainiac. Brainiac wants all the knowledge in him and his perfect recall experimented on to enhance his own knowledge. The Cybermen believe a converted SCP-073 would make the perfect Cyber Planner.
  • Szilard Quates was immediately interested in SCP-073. He wants absolute knowledge, and SCP-073 contains more memories to extract than anyone he's ever encountered. He immediately put his hand on 073 to devour him, only for it to do absolutely nothing because while 073 is immortal, he is not the same kind of immortal that he uses. Cain is making sure to never allow himself to taste the same panacea that allows people in the Baccano series to become immortal. It is unsure how assimilation countering with the Attack Reflector would play out, but much like the Mage of the Beginning nobody wants to find out.

So guys, what do you think of the Guinea Creatures? Are they good to go?

Guinea Creatures, Unholy Patrons of Normal Animals Passed Off as Monsters (Giant Guinea Creatures, Furry Death, Muerte Peludo)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/guinea_creatures.png
A group of Guinea Creatures. Guinea Pirate is their Leader
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/guinea_pirate.jpg
Michael Chertoff, Guinea Pirate's human guise
  • Potential House: Theatric Production
  • Intermediate Deities
  • Symbol: Themselves
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Rodents of Unusual Size, Eldritch Abomination, Terrifying Pet Store Rat, Roger Rabbit Effect, Main Threat of the Pandemic Arc, Weak to Peruvian Pan Flutes and Craig Tucker
  • Domains: Rodents, Evil, Ancient, Murder, Attack, Monsters, Special Effects
  • Allies: Twitch, The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, Robert the Tire, Reptilicus, SCP-2006
  • Enemies: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, Kenny McCormick, Kuzco, Kronk, Hammond, The MST3K Crew, Most ascended Kaijus
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Yzma
  • What started as an attempt by the U.S. Goverment to arrest all Peruvian Pan Flute bands and sent them to Guantanamo for being annoying ended up summoning the Furry Death, an ancient evil that hails from Peru. The Guinea Creatures rampaged through the whole world, killing hundreds in their wake, until thanks to the efforts of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny and Craig, the Peruvian Pan Flute bands were freed and the gigantic rodents were driven back to their nests. Except, not all of them were contained, as one of their more intelligent members, Guinea Pirate, broke free from Prison and resumed his rampage.
  • Their ascension was thanks to Guinea Pirate, haven't been seen since his escape from Prison, a gigantic Guinea Pig wearing Prison robes was captured in the House of Food. However, the lack of Peruvian Pan Flute bands coupled with the pirate's presence brought forth another Guinea Creature invasion. Thankfully, the Pantheon was better prepared to deal with them and all were recontained into a single temple.
  • Widely considered to be one of, if not the, silliest menaces in the pantheon, as their are just giant Guinea Pigs in costumes, but they are still dangerous for a reason. Before they were kicked out, Guinea Pirate, in the guise of Michael Chertoff, convinced the Court of Gods of letting them Guinea Creatures stay and take the title of animals that pretended to be giant monsters. It worked, for the most part, as he intended to use that appeal to reduce the security around the Guinea Creatures' temple but it was not the case.
  • The Guinea Creatures come in different flavours. Besides the standard Guinea Pig, you have Guinea Bees, Guineasauruses Rex, Guinea Rabbits, Guinea Cats, the list goes on. Whatever variant they are, all Guinea Creatures enjoy preying on humans, sometimes toying with their food but the added presence of Peruvian Flute Bands has diminished the effects of their rampages. If they ever get out of control, GUAG has even considered ascending Craig Tucker to deal with them.
  • Whenever a group of them gets out, some deities like to record them given their out of place look and bizarre mannerism, since most of the time they stand still without doing too much. This has proven to been a fatal mistake most of the time, since they are still dangerous, with several deities having fell prey to their unassuming looks.
  • Frequently a target of mockery by the MST3K Crew, given that they resemble many cheap effects of a handful of movies from the 60s and 70s, even if their creators did it on purpose. Even then, they know better than to provoke them.
  • Being one of the precursors of the Peruvians and an Incan Emperor, it's no surprise that the Guinea Creatures hate Kuzco for being one of their few weaknesses (also for being annoying). He is also one of the few deities they are unable to touch but Guinea Pirate has been on talks with Yzma, the former advisor of Kuzco, to kick him out and unleash the Guinea Creatures all over the pantheon. Unfortunately, her being a human also makes her a target and fairly disposable so she has been very careful when dealing with them. Kronk, Yzma's former henchmen, at first thought they were very funny-looking squirrels but after they tried to munch him, he has avoided the Guinea Pigs ever since.
  • So far considered the biggest rodents in the pantheon. Other rodents like to stay away from them since they are too murderous and destructive. The only two that are willing to ally with them are Twitch, a mean rat that could prove useful for them, and the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, who shares the viciousness and ruthlessness of the Guinea Creatures despite all of them looking harmless at first while also sharing a very unusual weakness.
    • While most good and neutral rodents like to stay away from them, Hammond the Hamster has been a notorious opposer of the gigantic Guinea Pigs. Mostly because they remind him of the primates that revolted in the colony and killed most humans, only worse. While usually just a nomad, whenever one of the Guinea Creatures escapes, he likes to assist in containing them.
  • Often considered Kaijus even if they aren't as big as others. Even then, their destructive power is not as high as the other ones and usually prefer going after lower lifeforms like humans. However, they are on good terms with Reptilicus and Robert the Tire, one for being a strange-looking Kaiju and the other for hating humans like them and looking funny while at it.
  • SCP-2006 adores them and considers them one of the freakest thing he's ever seen, so much so that one time when Guinea Pirate made his way towards the House of Villains and later captured, SCP-2006 immediately assumed his form and made a mess in three other houses. They are trying to make him stick with his Ro-Man form to prevent another disaster.
  • While his name may imply otherwise, Guinea Pirate doesn't do much pirating. He just has the hat because he likes it. Other pirates are split on two fronts with him, either he looks to ridiculous or is too dangerous to work with. His human form has been outed after he attempted to get the Peruvians kicked out of the pantheon and so most of the times he is seen in his true form.

Again, I want to ask. What's the best advised limit for followers? In my early days on this thread, I used to post every possible non-candidate before I was advised to tone it down to just two per medium (animé, comics TV show, books, film, games, cartoons, etc.). Now, here's what everyone's thinking so far.

  • fasoman1996 is telling me to bring it down to 5.
  • wootzits is telling me not to bother with them altogether.
  • Crossover-Enthusiast goes with 10 at most, but not always. Though to clarify, they meant "not all of them have to have ten" as having a profile that has under ten followers is fine.
  • RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 sticks with one per medium.
  • WhirlRX is wondering if this whole idea has become The Artifact.

This is still not a consensus, so I'm still confused. What does everyone else think?

  • Enemies: Enemies of the Crystal Gems
  • Opposes: The Dursleys
  • In a team of differently powered individuals, there's a rare occasion in which someone who has no special powers is a member of such a team. In the face of Steven Universe's pleas to the Court of the Gods, and a trope chosen by Pearl, the chosen candidate for The Team Normal was their ally Connie.
  • Connie is very intelligent for her age, knowing a lot about boats, reading a variety of books (she enjoys reading fantasy novels like The Spirit Morph Saga and A Wrinkle in Time, but also non-fiction books for fact), having proficiency in tennis, violin playing, and sword fighting (the latter of which even Pearl, a master swordswoman, was impressed with how quickly she picked it up), having an extensive vocabulary, and even managing to find loopholes in her parents' many rules. She's even prepared and intelligent when it comes to surviving in the wilderness, thanks to reading a book about the subject.
    • Speaking of The Spirit Morph Saga, she's been spreading awareness of it in the House of Knowledge, which she also frequents for new books to read. Those who finished the series she's recommended would agree that while overall great, the last book is lackluster (unless they had their Shipping Goggles on, like Steven had).
  • Used to take tennis practice in her early days before meeting Steven (again), and has noticed the lack of a deity representing it in the House of Sports. Not that looking for a candidate is a priority, though she'd support
  • She's also a proficient violinist and can sing well while playing, which takes quite a bit of practice to get right.
  • Is pretty good at lying under pressure, mostly because her parents were too strict to be honest with before she eventually confided her involvement with the Crystal Gems.
  • Was apparently a spectator in the events of Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade, as were the Pines twins. Given she had a brief "break up" with Steven after his reckless sacrifice to save his friends from Aquamarine, and had taken Lion with her, it is commonly assumed that she visited that place between her leaving and her return appearance at Kevin's party. She's not saying what else she did there, though.
  • He-Man has noted that her new sword looks just like his own. He (as Prince Adam) even offered to spar with her one of these days.
  • In a friendly sparring session with the other juniors in the Pantheon, Connie and Kairi were selected as partners for the day. It was a very close match (while briefly surprised by magic attacks, Connie was quick to adapt to the situation), though that left Kairi in a bit of a slump, given her... lackluster performance in the battle against Xehanort despite her training; if a by-all-accounts-normal girl was able to keep up with her despite not having any magic (besides being able to fuse with Steven, though that's more from him than from her), what does that say about her skills?
Connie: Well, my first fight against the Diamonds ended with me losing my first sword. Well, Steven's mom's sword. Forged by Bismuth specifically to poof any gem in a single swing. And Blue Diamond just snapped it between her fingers.
Kairi: At least that's all you lost. Master Xehanort kidnapped me, and then killed me in front of Sora to provoke him. It took him using the Power of Waking to bring me back, but he faded away after that. At least in the Pantheon, he's still here.
Connie: Oh... That's... I... That must really suck.
    Kairi: Yeah...
    • As such, she's offered to have Kairi join in sword lessons from Pearl, who has at least a few thousand years of experience. Funnily enough, in an alternate universe, it is Connie who tutors the islander in swordplay.
    • Eventually, she befriended Sora as well, and she found his optimism very much like Steven's.
      • Speaking of Pearl as her mentor, she's by extension turned down apprenticeship offers from all the other swordmasters in the Pantheon; she's probably not above endorsing Pearl, however.
      • Other mentors she's had the privilege of meeting were Chiron (a really great teacher and a kind one at that) and Scathach (a strict teacher who trains her students rigorously).
  • Sometime after that duel, she soon made friends with other young sword users such as Sokka (fellow dark-skinned non-powered person with am intellectual mind) and Finn (whose special trait of being human extends to all of Ooo (his mother and her colony live in islands outside it)).
  • Has no patience for "ovegrown kids" during any important missions. Anyone who's old enough should be able to act the part.
  • Don't underestimate her skills or leave her out of missions to stay behind; emotional support just as important. And she doesn't take it very well.
  • Encountered Lisa Simpson one day during one of her environmentalist speeches and was among those who have listened intently and even bounce off ideas. They managed to become amicable friends after that.
  • Having nearly been indoctrinated to a certain dangerous mindset when Pearl first tutored her in swordplay, Connie has dim opinions on any dynamic between two people that goes by way of master and (expendable) servant if the master was a formidable combatant as well; Pearl at least had the excuse of being able to regenerate and keeping Rose's real identity as Pink Diamond a secret. The only exception is between the Prinnies and Etna, especially after hearing what the former used to be in life, but even then she still feels a little conflicted.
  • While browsing the internet, she came across a video of a team of weaponsmiths replicating Rose Quartz's sword as close as they could. It has piqued her interest and plans to show it to Bismuth as soon as a trope to ascend her for is found.

[tup] for Connie.

I think Catbus is good enough now, so could I get some [tup]s?

Catbus, God of Giant Cats

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/catbus.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Its eyes and grin
  • Theme Song: "Catbus"
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: A cat the size of a bus (literally), constant smile, eyes that function like headlights, kind of creepy but benevolent
  • Domains: Felines, Travel, Youkai
  • Herald: Kittenbus
  • Allies: Totoro, Satsuki and Mei Kusakabe, other Studio Ghibli deities, its neighbors in the House of Felines, Valerie Frizzle, Alice Liddell, Haruka Kotoura, Steven Universe, Appa
  • Complicated Relations: Moro, Okkoto
  • Good Counterpart to: The Cheshire Cat
  • Alongside Totoro, the Catbus is another mysterious magical creature that the Kusakabe sisters befriended when they moved to the country for their sick mother's health. When Satsuki fought with Mei over their mother not being able to come home yet, Mei ran away, and the Catbus helped Satsuki by taking her to where Mei was, and then took them to the hospital so they could see their mother.
  • Presumably, Totoro, alongside Satsuki and Mei's fervent wishes, had a hand in getting Catbus to ascend. But whatever the case, he showed up quite suddenly one day as the sisters were returning home from the House of School to take them home to their temple. The two young girls were overcome with happiness at his appearance, especially when they found out he was here to stay as he took up residence in the House of Felines.
  • Catbus' trope used to belong to his House mate Big the Cat, but it was later determined that the purple cat's girth was more horizontal than vertical, and a cat roughly the size of an adult human isn't quite as impressive as a cat the size of a bus. Big barely seemed to notice (or care about) the trope change, though. After the Catbus' ascension it's not at all unusual to see all the cat deities, including Big, taking advantage of his large, fluffy bulk during their nap time.
    • Firestar and his fellow Clan cats were at first frightened of him due to his automobile characteristics, which made them think he was an Eldritch Abomination, but they got used to it and are now in awe of the Catbus, thinking him to be an envoy of StarClan; the fact that the Catbus neither confirms nor denies this doesn't help. Garfield is also in awe of him, but more because he can't fathom where the Catbus gets all that energy to run around. Meanwhile, Salem is trying to come up with some witty remark about the fact that Catbus is a cat and a bus; he's sure there's a joke in there somewhere, he just can't think of it right now.
    • Is also quite a welcome addition by various cat lovers. Steven Universe got all starry-eyed that Catbus was way bigger than his Lion and looked like his favorite snack, Cookie Cats. Haruka Kotoura loves Catbus a lot as well, but is puzzled that she can't seem to read his mind.
  • He's very popular with kids in the Pantheon and was offered employment as a schoolbus. But, as is typical for cats, it seems he only does it when he feels like it. However Valerie Frizzle seems to succeed in being persuasive with him. Adults like him too, but when they try meeting him face-to-face, most of them only see an old, rickety bus. The Catbus also has a son, Kittenbus, who's a miniature version of his father and rivals him in popularity due to sheer cuteness. Some deities think he could be used as transportation for Mouse World deities, but he's likely still too young for the responsibility.
  • Due to being a magical cat with a huge grin eternally plastered on his face, it was only a matter of time before the comparisons to the Cheshire Cat started pouring in. However, even though it's easy to mistrust the Catbus due to his creepy appearance, he really is a lot more reliable and well-intentioned than the Cheshire Cat is, as his history with the Kusakabe sisters proves. The Catbus is not at all amused at being compared to the Cheshire Cat with his tendency to cause trouble for no clear reason. Although, the two cats don't really antagonize each other, maybe because the Cheshire Cat claims to care about Alice now. And speaking of Alice, she likes the Catbus a lot for reminding her of the Cheshire Cat while being more dependable, and she functions as a pacifying element between the two cats.
  • Upon meeting with other magical animals who shared the same creator as him, there were varied reactions, with Moro and Okkoto rather despising that a cat mixed himself with human technology, while the tanuki of Tama Hill find the concept to be neat, and they also really enjoy going on joyrides in him, which can get a bit annoying for the Catbus, resulting in him forcefully ejecting them. Other human Ghibli deities accepted him with little to no question.
  • Like Totoro, the Catbus isn't really the fighting type, and if the Kusakabe sisters were put in danger he'd probably just quickly carry them out of the area. Still, one should probably not push a cat of his size too far.
  • Has been noted to be the basis behind Appa's creation, both being large and soft mammals with more legs than normal that are used for transportation. If they're not being goaded into getting into a race, they might be sleeping together, causing many "aww's" at the sight of the two furry lumps leaning against each other.
  • Despite his large girth, he's quite capable of climbing trees; it comes as a shock that they don't just bend over with his weight. Same thing applies to the roofs of temples; he's scared the bejesus out of quite some deities when they realized there's a huge shape looming over them (but calm down when they see it's just Catbus).
