Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

First draft on a new franchise I'm tackling. What do you think for a first go?
Magellan, God of Colorful Poison
- House: Toxicity (House of Nature)
- Intermediate God
- Symbol: The Impel Down flag
- Theme Song: Ishin Denshin Impel Down
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral
- Portfolio: Putting on the Reich, The Jailer, Looks Like Satan Even If He's Only Doing His Job, Poisonous Person, Technicolor Toxin, Broken-Ass Poison Powers, Immune To Poisoned Food Even If It Gives Him Diarrhea, Bunny-Ears Lawyer, Terror Hero Antagonist and/or Anti-Villain, Deadly Gas, Wings That Do Nothing, Implacable Man
- Domains: Poison, Wardens, Jail, Punishment, Law
- Followers: Muk(Normal and Alolan), Sesshomaru, Feyrbrand
- Allies: The World Government and its enforcers, the Grand United Alliance of Law, Satan(SMT), Harpuia, The Judge, Maiev Shadowsong
- On good terms with: The House of Justice, Satan(South Park), The SCP Foundation
- Enemies: SCP-106, Ethan Roark Junior and his father, Batman's Rogues Gallery, The Dark Judges
- As a warden only: Monkey D Luffy, Portgas D Ace and their crew, pirates in general, the House of Crime
- Avoided by: Danny Fenton, Sirius Black
- Annoyed by: Sheldon J Plankton
- Impel Down is a hellish prison, resembling a fusion of The Alcatraz and the Inferno. The original chief warden(later demoted to vice warden after the time skip) is Magellan, an imposing demonic-looking man who takes his job seriously even if he has a habit of being a Bunny-Ears Lawyer. The Doku Doku no Mi or Venom-Venom Fruit has given him power over colorful poisons which he uses to deadly effect.
- While he does antagonize Luffy and his party, this is only because they're trying to break into Impel Down and free Portgas D Ace. Most people in Impel Down actually deserve to be there. He ended up imprisoning jailer Shiliew when he was killing prisoners For the Evulz. In the pantheon he serves the Grand United Alliance of Law, but doesn't take kindly when those in that alliance abuse their authority and has no hard feelings for the Grand United Alliance of Good.
- Usually he is content doing his job and doesn't spend much time outside of being a warden for both the World Government and the pantheon if it calls for it. On one of his very rare breaks, he met up with Sage Harpuia. Magellan soon gained respect for the man for being an honorable enforcer to a morally dubious regime, and while Harpuia doesn't exactly like him he does think Magellan is honorable as well.
- A natural kindred spirit of the House of Justice. Despite being far less intimidating he respects the Judge for being a fair harbinger of the Judge, and as a warden he gets along with Maiev Shadowsong. Contrasting this, he hates the Dark Judges for using their insane belief on crimes and judgement to become omnicidal maniacs.
- Can generate poison from every pore, make constructs from poison(purple normally, red if he's really pissed), most notably a hydra, and make an armor from poison. It is one of the most powerful Devil Fruits out there, and only a few have any chance of countering it. Magellan is intrigued by Salazzle due to her ability to poison those who are naturally immune, such as himself, though in terms of power he far outclasses her.
- His favorite food is the poison soup, which he can eat thanks to his Devil Fruit. While immune to the negative effects of poison if consumed, it gives him diarrhea and he spends much of his time on the toilet. He endures it anyway, mostly because he's agoraphobic. Plankton made the mistake of believing that because he enjoys poisonous food, he would enjoy his chum. It didn't affect his health, but Magellan still found Plankton's cooking disgusting and told him to bug off or give him some poison breath.
- He was very displeased to learn of the many evil deities in his own sub-house. Learning about the Yellow Bastard immediately prompted him to put the man in Level 6 of Impel Down due to how disgusting he is. This enraged his senator father as it gets in the way of his desire for grandchildren and belief his family is untouchable. The fact the Roarks have no leverage on Magellan or any way to make him afraid only angers them further.
- He also has a strong contempt for SCP-106. Humanoid Abomination aside, "Radical Larry" is a glorified Serial Killer who the SCP Foundation has trouble containing. Magellan is working to try and actually lock up 106. The Foundation is hesitant as they don't want him taking responsibility alone, due to wanting to understand and explain 106 as with all SCPs. Magellan is willing to form some sort of compromise and help them buffer their containment procedures instead, to which the Foundation agreed.
- Sirius Black and Danny Fenton would rather stay away from Magellan. Not that they're enemies with him or vice versa, but they have a bad experience with hellish prisons and wardens respectively. Magellan is also on the watch for the House of Crime, for obvious reasons. He wishes to put Batman's rogues gallery in Impel Down, stating that he considers Arkham Asylum a complete failure of a prison and that most of said rogues gallery are not The Mentally Disturbed and as such should be in an actual prison instead of an insane asylum. Batman himself is not sure how to feel about that.
- Looks like the Devil. With Impel Down being the ultimate Hellhole Prison, it's not an unfair comparison even if he is a Noble Demon. He has a lot of respect for the Satan from Shin Megami Tensei, who is an enforcer of law but ultimately honorable and will conflict with YHVH when Even Evil Has Standards. When Magellan is in one of his lighter moods, he hangs out with the South Park Satan for drinks and luaus.
@AJ and Patrick: there's also that other Smurfs movie from 2017.
And I'm just gonna ask this now; when it comes to image representation, do we go for most iconic, most recent, what looks the best, or is it just a case-by-case basis?
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Original source media. Though. Most time.
Again, what would be these two's symbol?
Elisa Esposito and the Asset, Co-Deities of Fantastic Romances (Elisa: The Princess Without Voice, The Asset: Amphibian Man, Charlie)
- House: Love
- Lesser Deities
- Symbol:
- Theme Songs: “The Shape of Water”, “You’ll Never Know”, “Elisa’s Theme” (for Elisa)
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Interspecies Romance
- Domains: Love, Mutes (Elisa), Fish Men (The Asset)
- Followers:
- Superior: Guillermo del Toro
- Allies: Hellboy, Belle and the Beast, Ben and Saoirse, Rikuo, Amélie Poulain
- Enemies: Gaston
- Good Counterpart to: The Gill-man (The Asset)
- During the Cold War in the early 1960’s, there was a mute woman name Elisa Esposito, who worked as a night-time janitor in a top secret research facility. Things changed for her when she discovered what her superiors call the Asset, an amphibious humanoid creature confined to a water tank. Elisa, out of loneliness, fascination, and sympathy for its torture at the hands of head security officer Richard Strickland, befriended and developed a relationship with the creature. They were chosen to represent Fantastic Romance after the Court of the Gods took notice of their story.
- In many ways, they have been compared to Belle and the Beast with the most obvious being that both Belle and Elisa are in love with a monster (the Beast and the Asset respectively). Not only that, but they both stand up against their respective adversaries and end up with their true love. As such, the two couples get along pretty well. Additionally, both Elisa and the Asset have a disdain towards Gaston as his disregard towards the Beast reminds Elisa of Strickland’s mistreatment of the Asset.
- The two seem to get along well with Hellboy, who would sometimes visit their temple. Elisa isn’t quite shocked with his appearance, having been used to the Asset. For Hellboy, something about the Asset has reminded him of his friend Abe Sapien, noting his similar looks.
- It’s no surprise that some deities believe that the Asset is related to the Gill-man, especially considering their similarities to each other. For the Gill-man, he saw Elisa as a potential mate, which led to him attempting to snatch her. The Asset doesn’t take that well, and the two amphibious creatures engaged in a showdown, which ended with the Gill-man retreating. Since then, the Asset has been keeping an eye on the Gill-man in case he goes after Elisa again. On the other hand, they seem to be on better terms with another fish-like creature, Rikuo.
- Elisa can not talk given that as a child, she was found in a river with wounds on her neck. As such, she usually communicates through use of sign language.
- Saoirse visited the two’s temple out of curiosity. Upon encountering Elisa, she is reminded of herself, particularly due to both of them being mute (well, Saoirse was for a while) and their connection with aquatic creatures. Since then, she has been hanging out with her every now and then despite the age difference.

Spencer discovered. Throught his life, Marcus was an amoral scientist who valued only the development of his creation, caring little for the wellbeing of his staff and his partners wishes, culminating in a rift with Spencer that ultimately ended in the assassination of Marcus commanded by his then students and trusted right hands Albert Wesker and William Birkin. Miraculously, Marcus' biggest creation, the Queen Leech, bonded with his body and attained his memories. The newly reborn James Marcus sought to brought the world to ashes and take Umbrella down with him, but he was ultimately put down by rookie S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and Death Row inmate Lieutenant Billy Coen. The influence of Marcus lives on as his creations involving the T-Virus ended up shaping the world into a bio-terroristic haven.
- Reborn once again as young man that can turn into a leech monstrosity, Marcus managed to surprise attack and take out of commission the entity known as Foo Fighters, thankfully she and her friends managed to secure a second place for her but swore to get back at Marcus for stealing her temple and for being an amoral person. The court of gods while not happy at the development, allowed James Marcus to get the title of The Worm That Walks after the Leeches proved to be a stronger contender for the title.
- While Marcus has made many enemies, he has nothing but pure hatred for the two people that used to be their students. Both Wesker and Birkin were a bit alarmed at the sudden return of their former master but in a weird turn of events, neither of the three is with Umbrella anymore but instead of letting bygones be bygones, they don't want to bother with someone they consider old news and are only interested in the Leech Queen capabilities. He also is furious that Birkin took all the credit for the creation of the T-Virus and then mocked William after learning that he too was murdered by Umbrella for his creation and with Wesker he is a bit bothered that he got to kill Spencer first.
- The hatred of his former underlings also stems towards their respective children, also fueled by a desire to take their viral powers for himself. While Wesker is indifferent and actually on bad terms with Jake, Birkin had a Papa Wolf moment and transformed into G after Marcus made the declaration that he would make Sherry suffer. The following confrontation between the G-Virus mutant and Leech Queen was so destructive that the GUAG had to be deplayed to separate the two.
- Then there is Alex Wesker, the other surviving member from Project W that he too despises. Although it less has to do with Albert and more of her being another reminder of his old partner Ozwell E. Spencer, who heralded the project. That and he thinks that a Wesker cannot be trusted and he finds her attempts to gain immortality fruitless and vasly inferior to his link towards the Leech Queen and, while mildly intrigued about it, he consider the T-Phobos virus to be inferior to his original version.
- Besides his former students, he also wants to enact revenge on the ones that killed him as the Queen Leech. Having learned of Rebecca Chamber's location, he wasted no time in going after her but thankfully she wasn't alone and she and Moira Burton fended off Marcus until help arrived. Ever since then, he also became enemies with the members of B.S.A.A. and also their close allies and has added them to the list of people he wants to get rid of before humanity burns for their sins.
- While he is a bit of a Wicked Cultured man, he is still a man of science and viruses are what he focuses on. Conerning his home universe, Marcus has managed to snare a few Hunters to his side, considered they are an extension of his creation and he is strong enough to command them without getting attacked by them. The ascended Tyrants also somewhat follow his order even if they are Umbrella creations, Marcus is impressed by the resiliance and determination of both Mr. X and Nemesis.
- Surprisingly on good terms with Alexia Ashford, she seems to respect Dr. Marcus unlike most of the Umbrella related figures and it helps that she did base her T-Veronica Virus on Marcus' own T-Virus, which James found particularly fascinating. It helps that both have a grudge against Wesker and Birkin.
- Eveline's power intrigues him, seeing a lot of potential on the young B.O.W. and has tried to bring her to his side, promising to give him the family she has always desired if she let's Marcus study her composition. Of course, Wesker also made her the same proposition but feels more at home with Marcus but doesn't trust him enough. Marcus hasn't tried attacking her as the Queen Leech given that her powers do surpass his own, but he does consider it after she has proven to be fairly unstable.
- Having become one with the Queen Leech has made Marcus believe he has achieved true immortality, even if it's far from perfect. Being a walking collection of leeches reminded a lot of people of Zouken Matou, another old man that is in reality an amalgamation of Crest Worms. While not magic, Zouken has expressed interest in the Queen Leech and wonders if he could use them for immortality purposes, the same can be said for Marcus and experimenting on Crest Worms. After hearing these developments, Sakura Matou instantly came to dislike Dr. Marcus after having experienced contact with the crest worms for years and is horrified of the implications that could happen should he tamper with them.
- From Zouken he also ended up meeting Anton Arcane, another immortal though he was right up to Marcus' alley. Also an scientist interesting in decay and also admiring the effect that Marcus' T-Virus had on people, considering using it on himself after witnessing some B.O.W.s in action. He even praised the Queen Leech and gave Arcane more ideas for horrifying Un-men mutations.
- While the Leech Queen is very powerful, it is weak to sunlight which is what allowed Billy Coen to finish it off for good. That's why Marcus stays away from the House of light and any light related entity and sympathizes with Zs'Skayr's weakness and also has been interested in forging an alliance with the ghostly alien.
- Loves opera and even sings it himself from time to time. A stroll to the house of Music got him to meet Erik, the infamous Phantom of the Opera who Marcus is a huge fan of and admires the mysterious nature of his songs. While Erik doesn't really return his sentiment, he does appreciate Marcus as an Aloof Ally of sorts even if he couldn't care less about his schemes and plans to eradicate humanity.
- After his resurrection he became a huge Misanthrope, labelling humanity as sinful and that all humans should be eradicated. This belief stems mostly from his religious beliefs, which has made him clash with the House of Faith. Actual divine deities even consider him a nutjob but the one that despises him the most is Zamasu, who considers him an embodiment of all that is wrong with mortal beings. Of course, Marcus found the Kai to be a huge hypocrite considered what he has done in the past.
- This desire to erradicate humanity also caught the attention of several other people that also despise humans. Most notably, he developed a rivalry with Lysandre, someone who he considers as lowly as other humans, and a shaky alliance with Ra's Al Gul, who wants to erradicate humanity to spare nature from their polluting, although he can't quite make an exception of Marcus considered the damage the T-Virus has done to nature, but both work towards a similar goal for now.
- Fairly similar to Alex Mercer, both being an entity with memories that are tied to an insane scientist, although Marcus is fully aware of what he was and relishes on it while Mercer considers himself separate from the former Alex Mercer and even if evil, desires to distance himself from his "former" life. Even then, both do hate humanity and could work together for the same goal but Marcus desire to get the hands on the Blacklight Virus has only generated animosity between the two.
Looks good to me!

@ James Marcus:
The One Who Crosses The Sky In Flames@Wikia Editor: for both Manta and Edward
EclipseMT/MendicantECT/729MT. Steam gamer, summoner, and outright everything else@Donnie: A bathtub filled with brackish water? If all else fails, the film's poster will suffice. Also, have Zelda, Giles and Dimitri as their Heralds.
@ Megatron: Has heard from his fellow GUAM members that he should be wary of the Infested. The Technocyte Plague is capable of infecting both men and machine alike, twisting them into horrific aberrations.
@ Magellan: You know, from the way he dresses he sort of also looks like a Nazi... with poison powers. He should really clarify isn't actually one, given the implications.
On another note, he would be frustrated that his poison can't do much to the Crimson Court due to thriving in the Courtyard's swampy mires. It isn't to say it's impossible to poison them, but the amount of effort exerted would be better suited to exploiting other weaknesses they have. For that, the Court laughs at his aggravation.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.Remember him?
Matador, God of Beautiful Killing
- Lesser God
- Symbol: His Red Capote, the Espada sword
- Theme Song: Fiend Theme
- Alignment: Neutral Evil
- Portfolio: Grim Reaper, Blood Knight, Aspect of Death with Style, Master Swordsman, Skeleton Head like other Fiends, Fragile Speedster, Wake-Up Call Boss, Andalucia, Sukukaja and Red Capote, Taunt
- Domains: Death, Killing, Sport, Bullfighting
- Allies: The Fiends
- Rivals: Vega
- Enemies: The Demi-fiend
- One of the Fiends, Matador was known as the Spanish Grim Reaper who enjoy the sport of killing. It was said that he was once a mortal man who was killed in the sport that he loved and now kill others, even after death.
- He was the first of the Eight Fiends to fight against the Demi-fiend for his Candelabrum in Lucifer's test. Though the Demi-fiend was a very powerful demon, he himself claimed that he was close in defeating him.
- He is once compared to Vega for their love of beauty and murder, as well as being a living matador. Though they are alike, Vega is too full of himself to reciprocate.
- "I swear, by my sword and capote, that I will once again prove victorious!"
You're right, it has been a while. Hmm..is it me, or are most SMT demons either Neutral Evil or Blue-and-Orange Morality, and most DC Superheroes are Lawful Good?
Got a few ideas for later. What do you think of these choices? Should someone else be picked?
- John Stewart, God of Adaptational Traits Made Canon (House of Adaptations and Continuity, Lawful Good)-John Stewart's current appearance and backstory as a marine were originally from Justice League, but proved popular enough they became part of the comic's canon
- Kaido, God of Being Impossible To Execute (House of Manners Of Survival)-a Nigh-Invulnerable Ambiguously Human, they've tried hanging him, using a guillotine and have gone through 40 attempts at execution, yet they all fail. It's reached the point that he jumps off high distances and attempts suicide for fun (that, and he's also a Death Seeker)
- Dr Robert Scranton, God of Isolation-Induced Madness (House of Causes of Madness, Lawful Neutral)-Dr Scranton was the inventor of the Scranton Reality Anchor and researcher into altered levels of reality. He was stuck in SCP-3001, an empty void dimension, for years with only his own body and a winking red light for stimulus. He proceeded to decay both in mind and body as there was literally nothing else
Well, regarding pics, I think we should at least take the earliest that's also in color. I took the liberty of changing Astro Boy's profile pic to a colored one.
for John Stewart. I'll work on Wally West eventually.
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseI'm all for Kaido, but I would rather wait until the Wano arc is over.

- Other Allies: Madoka Kaname, Ash Ketchum, Sora, Alladin (Magi), Riku, Ventus, Touma Kamijou, Gildarts Clive, Finn the Human, Shirou Emiya, Atalanta, Aang, Shigeo Kageyama, Ness, Lucas, Mithra, Asura, Kirby, Peter Parker, Nanashi, Pinkie Pie, Wander, Princess Uni-Kitty, Pops Maellard, Steve Irwin, Eliza Thornberry
- Rivals: Hisoka
- Enemies: Chrollo Lucifer, Cell, Kars, Frieza, The Joker, Dio Brando, Stain, YHVH, Vanitas, Xehanort, Divine Powers, Eric Cartman, Kyubey
- Pities: Homura Akemi, Eren Yeager, Sayaka Miki
- Opposed by: Mami Tomoe
- Opposes: Lucifer, Durant
- Once Gon ascended, he immediately rushed up to Killua to hug him, saying it has been a very, very long time since they last saw each other. Killua only smiled, knowing Gon would eventually find him here eventually. Gon went on to visit Kurapika afterward in one of the few times he ever welcomes someone in.
- Was ascended thanks to his Jajaken ability which weaponizes Rock–Paper–Scissors. Some question the legitimacy of this title since Gon has been Brought Down to Normal. The Court of the Gods wouldn’t hear of this though and allowed Gon to stay.
- Wasn’t happy to hear his nemesis, Hisoka being in the Pantheon. The clown wants to challenge Gon once more but made this expression once he found out Gon can’t use Nen anymore.
- Was even less enthusiastic that Chrollo was present as well. Chrollo isn’t too fond of Gon either but respects his power enough not to bother him.
- Gets along with a lot of people thanks to his friendly and upbeat attitude. However, Gon is noted to be quite headstrong when trying to help out his friend but knows when to hold his actions if he doesn’t want to repeated what happened with Kite.
- Despite being such a happy person, nobody will ever forget what happens if one makes Gon truly furious. It all culminated into Gon obtaining an adult form so powerful, it nearly destroyed him in the end. While Gon can’t go into this form at the moment (something that may be impossible now), only time will tell if he is able to regain even a portion of that power again. Meanwhile, Mami was freaking out that Gon punched someone’s head to nonexistence, bringing up bad memories.
- Met Izuku Midoriya when participating in a tournament where even he was awed by his power. Afterward, the two talked and found that they had a lot in common and quickly became friends. Izuku introduced him to All Might who Gon saw as another mentor he looks up to. They are both training to face each other in the eventual rematch.
- One of the few humans Atalanta is fine with. While Killua is a bit mixed, she fond ps Gon much more pleasant (and less dangerous) company thanks to his friendliness with animals.
- Asura’s okay with Gon hanging with Mithra but is rather concerned by his nonchalant feelings on going on dates with older women.
- Feels bad for Homura, as he sees her as a misguided friend who was manipulated by others. Doesn’t appreciate YHVH’s assassination attempts against both Homura and Madoka and is willing to go full Gon-san if that happens.
- Was originally wary of Spider-man thanks to the Phantom Troupe but after meeting the man himself, his tune changed almost instantly.
- Eren Yeager’s vengeance against the Titans reminds him of Kurapika’s vendetta against the Phantom Troupe unfortunately. Gon hopes Eren doesn’t go down the Knight Templar path like his friend has.
- Sees Sayaka Miki in a similar vain as well. Gon hopes all of the Puella Magi make up with one another but that's unlikely.
- Is also apparently one of the few who is able to actually be friends with Nanashi which is a feat on its own considering Dagda’s possessive nature and Nanashi’s current standing.
- Really doesn’t like Cell because he reminds him a lot of the Chimera Ant King. Cell is particular freaked by how insane Gon is and wants nothing to do with the boy.
- While Gon is able to tolerate Hisoka if he’s not in the battle-boner mood, The Joker is a straight up psychopath. Having his share of clowns for one lifetime, Gon is willing to grab Joker by the neck and toss him off a cliff.
- Doesn’t like those who manipulate his friends for their own benefit and broke Killia’s army because of it. Xehanort, Lucifer, Divine Powers, Kyubey, Gon’s pissed at all of them. Xehanort is particularly intrigued by the boy, seeing as his dedication to his friends similar to Sora.
- Stain sees Gon as an immature child who’s reason for being a Hunter was a completely unjustified, as wishing to see your Disappeared Dad again and associating himself with someone like Killua isn’t exactly heroic. Gon remained silently and told Stain if he ever, ever threatens Killua, Stain will die screaming for mercy. Before Stain could counterattack, he saw Gon’s rage in his eyes and backed off almost immediately. Not even the fiercest of foes could match the pure terror Stain felt when Gon stared into his very soul.
- Cartman was hit with Gon’s wrath when he tried to see if Gon’s rumored anger was true. He hurled insults at the boy but then he brought up Killua and what happened next was Cartman being thrown against the wall and pounded in the stomach until he began puking organs. Cartman never said about the incident even after his jaw recovered.
- Attempted to attend the House of School... only to have his brain fried instantly during mathematics. He would rather fight Neferpitou again than do equations.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Just a sad, lonely girl
I need a symbol for A2, please.
Unlike 9S or 2B, she has no signature weapon. Maybe her scrap? Her barren body? Hair? What?
Hey, M1gami, I got this suggestion for you. Would you like to work on it once Gon is up?
- Biscuit Krueger, Goddess of Issues With Excess Muscle
- High Priestess: Anvil/Kenya Cassidy
- Followers: Nozaki Umetaro Nozaki, Yuko Nishiwaki, Lune Zoldark, Titanium Maiden
- Chihiro Fujisaki, who holds the trope right now, can represent something like God of Issues With Muscle Deficiency
And I think Muundeis or someone else had considered Leorio for Do You Want to Haggle?.
