Swara Productions Co. Ltd. is a sound effects company working in the entertainment industry in Japan, primarily animation, but also dramas, movies and occasionally video games.
The company was founded on 4 May, 1976 by former Fizz Sound Creation employee and sound effects legend, Katsumi Ito and much like Fizz Sound, Swara is also responsible for many of the stock sound effects you hear in anime and tokusatsu (especially if the genres are mecha and magical girls), in addition to using many of the same sound effects as Fizz Sound for obvious reasons.
They also have staff members responsible for music selection even for shows they don't provide sound effects for.
According to Ito, the company's name is derived for "suara", the Indonesian word for sound.
For the sake of convenience, projects handled by Hummingbird and SOUND COMPASS will be listed here too due to their smaller numbers of output.
