Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Should I change Kurama's trope to Multiple-Tailed Beast because there is a discussion a long time ago about how there are tropers that wanted to change his trope.

  • The problem with Sports Games is that most of them are of real sports and are more about the game than its players, so it was a daunting task to find proper candidates for the trope. And then scouts of the Court found the interesting tale of the rise of the Sahrian Union. While trying to discern through conflicting stories whether or not they overthrew its previous government, the Commonwealth, through peace or through bloodshed, and members of importance in the revolution. Further research revealed the existence of the Downside, the Rites, the Eight Scribes that created it, and the Trumvirates that partook in it.
  • It was there that tales of the Nightwings were discovered, the Rites they participated in, and the revolution they supported, and it was there that the Court found their candidate. Or rather, candidates. As it was, due to the Multiple Endings nature of the tale, it was difficult finding the ideal method of ascending them to the Pantheon. But a solution was eventually found.
  • After enacting their solution, all of the Nightwings have been brought to the Pantheon, all with memories of life after the last Liberation Rite both in the Downside and in the Commonwealth/Sahrian Union. The conflicting memories were a bit confusing to possess and among other things, The Stowaway, Hedwyn, and the Reader are still human even after remembering remaining in the Downside after the Rites have ended, and Jodariel is still a demon even when she remembers life after returning to the Commonwealth, and won't be changing back anytime soon. Still, at the very least, they are all reunited. And it was surprising that Tariq has rejoined them, but as part of the Nightwings, it made sense.
  • Applies to the team or some of them:
    • The Nightwings' temple takes the form of the Moonlight Alcove, the sanctuary the team rest in while waiting for the stars to herald the next series of Rites. They also have their blackwagon they use to travel across the Downside. It even has flight capabilities, and when in flight, the Reader occasionally directs their craft to other flying vessels/deities that happen to be in the area either to grief or greet them, depending on their mood.
    • Thanks to the endeavors of Barker Ashpaws of the Dissidents, they are aware of the Rites being considered a game not just in the Downside after the Rites ended, but also in the world(s) outside their own. In fact, the House of Gaming and Technology are collaborating on creating a simulation of the Rites, and folks have compared it as a fantastical version of basketball.
      • Of course, given just how many different kinds of lifeforms (especially non-organics such as energy beings and robots) are in the Pantheon, a lot of work in the simulation had to be done to account for all of them and to give proper pros and cons of each. And that's not counting the humanoids who can cast abilities without weapons, which aren't permitted in the Rites. Some are inconsequential (like Yang Xiao Long's damage-based Semblance, which is pointless since one hit from an opponent's aura is instant banishment), others might give an edge, while yet others might even break the game (like Ruby Rose's Speed-based Semblance) unless properly nerfed.
    • Eventually, the Sim-Rites Program was completed. The Nightwings are already in by default, but anyone else who wishes to partake in the experience has to register first as a Triumviratecaveat . Unlike the cases where Sir Gilman and Pamitha left their own groups to join the Nightwings, changing Triumvirates requires a lengthy procedure, so it's best to form large teams if they're more likely to play together (e.g. the Investigation Team and the Shadow Operatives, or the Mane Six and the Cutie Mark Crusaders). Mons of deities, if they don't have a limited summon time (like an SMT!Demon or a Digimon, but not a Persona or Eidolon), participate as separate team members.
      • Within the sim, participants are donned in raiments reminiscent of those the Nightwings posses, but in color themes decided by the Triumvirate they represent. New masks and raiments are designed to account for those who aren't human (Nomad like Hedwyn or Savage like the Stowaway), Demon, Cur, Wyrm, Imp, Harp, Sap, or Bog-Crone. And the "Book of Rites" each player has to hold will float close by for those who lack the appendages to carry them.
      • Trinkets/mementos held by/in the possession of a player and/or Triumvirate get added in their inventory as equipment that can mildly enhance one's abilities, aid in the Pyre's survivability, give advantages at the cost of getting a handicap, or hamper the enemies' capabilities, though some of them are limited to certain people.
      • The simulation ensures that during any Rite, only one player per team moves at a time by locking the others in place when one has already decided to move. Coordination and trust is vital, and can be made easier with an assigned teammate not actively participating serving as a Reader/Coordinator, who can mind-read their teammates and telepathically communicate with them (those who already have such abilities can use them in the sim even as a player).
      • After each Rite, victory or defeat, all participants (save the maxed-out Nightwings) earn Enlightenment, which eventually unlock Masteries (maximum of 4, with a chain of wins required to change that up) unique to each player. All other members of both teams get Inspiration, which become Enlightenment should they participate in a Rite. They also earn points that can he spent on (temporary possession ofnote ) various trinkets the Nightwings have used throughout their Rites. For some (like ), this means having a small set. For others (like Neku and friends), this gives them a large repertoire to choose from.
      • Another feature from the Rites mimicked into the Sim-Rites is the Titan Stars Challenges that can be called upon for the sake of, well, a challenge, as well as bonus points for trinket loaning. To avoid any implications of unwanted pity or overconfidence, the Nightwings aren't allowed to use this feature, but all the other Triumvirates can.
      • There is no equivalent for Ascension Rites, since the Sim-Rites are meant for fun.
    • One additional benefit the Nightwings got along with their ascension is to grant them the ability to project and cast Aura like if they were in the Rites (the Stowaway once defended the camp from Howlers this way, and Sir Gilman burst obstacles (and the Pyrehearts which he once was a member of when they pursued him) hindering the Nightwings). These attacks are only as strong as a shove or physical charge, and in Ti'zo's case, since his Implosion is a Suicide Attack in the Rites, it merely renders him winded for a bit here.
    • Due to having been exiled for literacy and promoting literature against the government specifically respectively, the Reader and Volfred have it against Big Brother for burning books and stifling people's literacy.
      • With literacy not being illegal, the it's been considered that the Nightwings (save the already literate Reader and Volfred) be provided language lessons.
    • Due to its extreme prejudice against traitors to their nations, the Nightwings are advised to stay away from SCP-516 when possible, particularly Hedwyn (deserted his post in a war), Joadriel (unauthorized liberaion of POWs), and Pamitha (betraying her sister (and her country), even if in an attempt to save her).
  • Exclusive to The Reader:
    • Rumored to be an aspect of (Insert Name Here), the Reader's past is inconsistent (like if they were an old farmhand or a war orphan), if it's even known. What is known is that their crippled condition as a result of being cast down prevented them from participating in the Rites. With the upcoming simulation, they can have a chance of experiencing the Rites for themselves.
    • Never takes off their cloak, making their identity a mystery. Those who saw beneath it have deigned to keep it a secret, and the nature of the Reader's character makes it inconsistent.
    • Occasionally, when given some alone time, the Reader consults with a green crystal, which is found to be inhabited by a wraith named Sandra, of the Beyonders Triumvirate.
      • However, after an incident which ended up with the Beyonder Crystal nearly shattered, the Reader went around to find a way to protect it without interfering its ability to communicate with them. They eventually found one, and it came with a bonus of being able to summon Sandra from the crystal at times, though she's still bound to it like a genie in a lamp. Regardless, the Reader has become a lot more careful.
      • No, she won't be conducting Scribe Trials for anybody else; those days are over, the Sim-Rites already got that covered, and the Reader isn't that trusting of the Crystal to anybody.
  • Exclusive to Hedwyn:
    • Sometimes practices his cooking skills at the House of Food after rumors of how bad he was at it spread. He insists that was because of the Downside's food pretty unpalatable overall. As such, he ends up not having much good ingredients, and he had been trying his best.
    • -something about his girlfriend's dedication to him that she would join him in the Downside if he isn't Liberated-
    • -something about getting flak for his desertion to find a "loved one"-
  • Exclusive to Jodariel:
    • Due to having participated in wars against the Harps on behalf of the Commonwealth, she has trouble with trusting harpies of any sort. It took a long while (and the Reader's guidance) before she can even consider working together with Pamitha (assuming neither get Liberated before then).
    • Prior to and during the war, she's adopted and cared for orphans, among them Hedwyn when he was young. As such, she's gotten acquainted with and gets along with not only some of the children who can get past her imposing appearance, but also other orphanage protectors like Julis-Alexia and Kazuma Kiryu.
      • While it's what got her exiled, she draws the line against those who would execute children, even if they're from the enemy side.
    • As someone who would found a quasi-police force in the new Sahrian Union if she gets Liberated, she has cordial relations with law enforcement deities (as long as they don't exploit their authority).
  • Exclusive to Rukey:
    • It's not much, but there's been one little thing noted about Rukey; his stylish mustache, or the occasional lack of it, which depended on the Reader's critique of it.
    • Having once been a smuggler of goods, he gets along nicely with Han Solo; on top of their (initial) careers, both have also taken part in a rebellion against a corrupt government (even in the off-chance that Rukey never gets Liberated, he's still helped the Reader who would eventually lead the Nightwings and help Liberate his teammates, and Rukey would still be among the players to stand by their side).
  • Exclusive to the Stowaway:
    • Will answer to any of the following names (which are all pronounced as if rhyming with "gray"): Mae, Kae, Dae, Xae, Tae, Shae, Rhae, Lae, Chae, Nae, Zhae. Due to much potential for confusion or degoratory puns, the following have been removed (i. e. she's been instructed not to treat these as addressing her by name): Fae (there's a Manakete who goes by that name already), Gae (sounds like "gay"), and Bae (very memetic).
      • That said, given certain things like her leitmotif, and what she's addressed by the game if the player enters Versus Mode without loading a Campaign first (or at least one where the Nightwings find her at that point in the story), the majority default to Mae, and it's used in documentation, though the other names are still used. Isis hasn't deigned to confirm if this is indeed her true name or not.
    • Occasionally, she can be found preaching (not to an overbearing extent, of course, after the first few times) what she knows about the Eight Scribes' teachings, if she isn't marveling at all the things the Pantheon has to offer.
    • Used to eat the least she can, because she disliked to hurt animals to eat meat. Angès understands that feeling, having had a similar thought process and vegan diet before Ringabel of all people snapped her out of that when she and her party had been stranded out at sea and there was only fish to eat.
  • Exclusive to Ti'zo:
    • Despite his diminutive size and cute appearance, Ti'zo is actually not only very intelligent, but long-lived as well. The only thing keeling him from being as revered as Yoda is the fact that he can't speak the same language as Commonwealth exiles (and by extension the rest of the Pantheon). For some reason, he didn't get the same gift of tongues most every deity in the Pantheon gets. Only telepaths can communicate with him easily.
    • Occasionally, he can be found swimming in lakes or shorelines to catch fish to eat.
  • Exclusive to Sir Gilman:
    • When he isn't practicing speedy movements with Rukey, Sir Gilman can often be found perched at above-average elevations (perhaps even on other living beings if they're all right with it) to tame his fear of heights.
    • Having been under the service of a cowardly commander (in a race full of glory seekers), he has zero tolerance for such and think they're undeserving of their rank. Lord Djibril is on the top of that list.
      • Those who show incompetence or are otherwise unfit for command or have no business in it are those he won't tolerate, either, such as Zapp Brannigan.
    • <Riven from League of Legends was self exile after her country used chemical Warfare to win a battle that destroyed allies and enemies alike. She is a proud warrior who thought it was dishonorable.>
  • Exclusive to Pamitha:
    • When it came to caring for a sibling who's... admittedly not the best of people, Pamitha thought she was alone in this regard. As it was, that's not the case in the Pantheon. As such, she can understand the situation of Jaime Lannister (though she's weirded out by the incest he has with Cersei) and occasionally share drinks with him.
      • She also gets along with Mokuba Kaiba (even if Seto isn't exactly evil anymore) and Zuko (even though he didn't start his pity until after Azula went mad for a while, and even hated her back then).
    • Coming from a race filled to the heart with vengeance, while not harboring much of them herself, Pamitha pities those who can't bring themselves to let go of their grudges over any sort of logic. Especially if they have enough honor not to accept easier ways to achieve it.
  • Exclusive to Volfred:
(something about leading a peaceful rebellion)
  • (something about his being a Prime Minister of the Sahrian Union should he be Liberated)
  • Exclusive to Bertrude:
    • Bertrude's trade revolves around potions, talismans and other powerful magic items, so she can sometimes be found.
    • Some folks think her fireproof ink shouldn't have worked since that logically should've ended with burnt books and a puddle of ink on the floor. Unless the ink was specially hexed.
    • Something a little more significant than Rukey's mustache (or lack thereof), sometimes Bertrude is plagued by nightmares and sometimes she isn't. As it turns out, it's a side effect of being from multiple timelines, as there are three outcomes to when she asked the player to invoke Yslach while playing against Udmildhe of the Withdrawn; either victory is achieved, loss is suffered, or the Reader chose not to risk it.
  • Exclusive to Tariq:
    • Without the Rites to constrain him to his duty, when he isn't []spoiler:spending time together with Celeste]], Tariq roams the Pantheon, relaying tales of the Nightwings and the Rites through his songs.
    • During his wanderings, he ran into the Bard, who had heard of his songs, was entranced by what Tariq was singing, and wanted to know more. He would also guide the Minstrel to Edward's temple to share his tale.

I have an idea for an ascension (plus Reiner):

Trope to use: World's Best Warrior (from checks, I do not see that trope in the Pantheon)

Levi Ackerman, Humanity's Strongest Soldier (Captain Levi, God Levi, (Chibi) Clean Freak, Captain Clean, Heichou)

[up]Please explain why they fit the trope. That's one of the rules for possible ascencion.

Is there anyone interested on working on William Tell for William Telling? I probably won't ask further than this.

Hanabi, Goddess of Weaponized Fireworks (Hanababy, Shipmate Kaboom)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hanabi_ev.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A large firework bomb
  • Theme Music: Hanabi Goes Kaboom!
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Weaponized Fireworks, Firework-Powered Hammer, Dumb Muscle, Will Explode If She Thinks Too Much, Kindhearted Simpleton, Book Dumb, Mighty Glacier, Genki Girl
  • Domains: Fireworks, Hammers, Fire, Dumbness, Shinobi
  • Allies: Ryouki, Katsuragi, Minori, Vita, Blanc
  • Mentor: The Panda King
  • Enemies: Lord Shen, Shan-Yu
  • Hanabi is one of three Mikagura Sisters, and the middle child of the bunch. Even though she is "bit" dumb, she is still a trained shinobi, who uses her love for fireworks to fight in battle, was it to throw fireworks at people of use them to help her swing her massive hammer.
  • While she possesses great powers, she has one fatal flaw in her, and that is that she is a horrible thinker. And by horrible we mean that if she tries to focus on one thing too long and too hard, she looses control of her firework ninja arts and explode in a sea of flame. She can come out relatively fine, but the explosion can cause damage around her. Of course it's not like she wants to explode all the time, but even when she wants to leave the critical thinking to others, she tends to get stuff in her head what just makes her go DOKAN!
  • She idolizes Panda King, and really wants to follow in his footsteps. Or at least, learn everything he can teach to her. While Panda King appreciates that he has fans, he does fear that she might not get everything he could teach her and thus caused her to think too much.
    • However, she really hates Lord Shen for using the thing she loves the most for his twisted schemes. She honestly wants to blow him up with her fireworks, even once. She is also enemies with Shan-Yu, but in his case he simply hates her due of how he got killed off.
  • Has been, unfortunately, called out as being a potential terrorist.
  • DOKAN!!

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!

If the profile doesn't make it clear, his flawless Titan kill record, his savagery towards them and his perfect build for battling Titans (plus curbstomping the Beast Titan) earned him the name of Humanity's Strongest Soldier (basically a synonym of World's Best Warrior)

Levi Ackerman, Humanity's Strongest Soldier (Captain Levi, God Levi, (Chibi) Clean Freak, Captain Clean, Heichou)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/levi_ackerman_anime.png
  • Potential House: War (Sub-House of Soldiers And Warriors)
  • Lesser God, Intermediate when he goes all-out ("God Levi")
  • Symbol: The emblem of the Survey Corps: "the Wings of Freedom"
  • Theme Song: Die Flügel der Freiheit (also the anime's second opening theme)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (liable to go all-out Chaotic)
  • Portfolio: The Ace, Badass Normal, Blood-Splattered Warrior, Breakout Character, Charles Atlas Superpower, A Father to His Men, Fragile Speedster, Hope Bringer, Horrifying the Horror, Ineffectual Loner, Inexplicably Awesome, Lightning Bruiser, Neat Freak, Nominal Hero, Reasonable Authority Figure, World's Strongest Man
  • Domains: Anti-Socialism, Cleanliness, Leadership, Rage, Strength
  • Heralds: It took a long time to choose given all the blood on his hands, but he ultimately chose his father, Kenny Ackerman and the original Special Operations Squad (Petra Ral, Oluo Bozado, Eld Jinn, and Gunther Schultz)
  • Allies: Mikasa Ackerman, Eren Yeager
  • Enemies: Bertolt Hoover, Annie Leonhart
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with/Feared by: Zeke Yeager
  • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
  • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or find pitiable.
  • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by, regardless of alignment.
  • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Levi Ackerman is a high-ranking member of the Survey Corps in Attack On Titan, born to a prostitute mother who died in his early years. Raised by Kenny Ackerman, her brother, who promptly abandoned once he believed Levi was able to fend for himself, and Levi become a street thug. Erwin Smith, a member of the Survey Corps coerced him into joining them. He had intended to kill Erwin once he got the chance, but soon became one of his most trusted men. It would be a fateful decision.
    • He became the best and most deadly soldier in the Survey Corps, earning the title of "Humanity's Strongest Soldier". That was monumental enough on its own, but his savage beatdown of the Beast Titan convinced the Court of the Gods to grant him godhood after finding that the position of World's Best Warrior was available. When Levi finally ascended into the Pantheon, all his followers rejoiced.
  • Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yeager were jubilant, as their Captain was back, and with a big load of once deceased military members with him. Now that their leader is back, they hope to take the fight to the Warrior Trio that is still hunting Eren for the powers of the Founding Titan in the Pantheon.

[up][up]Me just because I'm bitter that Sita doesn't appear in LB 4 (according to what people said. Besides reading the short version of his legend once he actually came out made me interested in him (just to be honest, I never even heard of him in the first place until I watched the LB 4 livestream).

Also for others that haven't answered the question, should Kurama's trope change to Multiple-Tailed Beast?

Jessica doesn't really tangle with Spider-Man's rogue gallery. I know she had beef with the Hobgoblin in her last issues, but he hasn't ascended.

Okay, I have 1 [tup] for The Charmed Ones and 2 for Jessica Drew.

Jessica Miriam Drew Goddess of Wall Crawling (Spider-Woman, Arachne, Mistress of the Dark Blade)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/316.jpeg
Jessica, with her son, Gerald. This is the real deal, not The Skrull Queen
  • Potential Houses: Other Powers
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbols: A Stylized Spider
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Mother to Gerald Drew, Ambiguously Bi, Mind Control And The Skrulls Are Her Berserk Button, Broken Bird, Dude Magnet Due To Her Pheromones, Heroine With Bad Publicity, Shes Got Legs, Stiff Upper Lip,
  • Domains: Good, Spiders, Strength, Espionage, Charm
  • Herald: Anya Corazon/Spider-Girl
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Complicated Relationship: Clint Barton/Hawkeye
  • Uneasy Relationship: Jessica Jones
  • It was been a project Carol Danvers has been working on for years. She has been trying to find a way to help her best friend ascend, a superhero named Jessica Drew AKA Spider-Woman. While never one of the most common superheroes in the Franchise/Marvel Universe debut comic, she often came in play in secret. Her most prominent appearance was when she joined the New Avengers and was instrumental towards defeating Norman Osborn and his Dark Avengers. Thanks to the newfound popularity, she even maintained her own comic again for a couple of years. It was Peter Parker who helped her find a spot, giving his blessing for her ability to cling to walls. Thus Jessica made claim in the Pantheon.
  • Jessica Drew's origin story has gone through several retcons, but most of them agree on the aftermath. She ended up at HYDRA where she was trained in combat and espionage. Eventually, she caught word of its evil actions and joined SHIELD instead. It was a little time afterwards that she decided to give the superhero business a try, and the rest was history. Thus her admiration with Nick Fury and rage at HYDRA, especially lieutenant Madame Hydra who oversaw her brainwashing.
  • The tone was set immediately as Carol Danvers gave her a long hug to her best friend. The two superheros have been looking out for each other not long after their debuts. Spider-Woman helped Carol to get back on her feet after being drained by Rouge and was one of the few Avengers who initially took her side in the infamous Marcus incident. Their friendship great to greater heights when Carol returned the favor and helped Jessica out during her pregnancy and subsequent birth. The two may have had a brief spat, but they have remained best friends. There has even been rumors of romantic implications... which is something Jessica agrees but she keeps things professional.
  • Just to state the obvious... no she has no relations with Peter Parker or any of his theme superhero friends and has enough differences in powers to set them apart.. Stan Lee admits that he initially created her to get on top of any potential female distaffs of Spider-Man, but she proved popular enough to warrant her own series. He saw to it to distance her from the webcrawler so as to prevent her from being attached to him. Nowadays the two can joke around regarding their code-names.
    • Just to clarify, the only other thing she does have in common with him is Super-Strength. Otherwise, she can glide in the air and give out pheromones that attract the opposite sex.
    • That hasn't stopped her from getting involved in the Spider-Verse, more prominently during Spider-Geddon. The constant threats of Morbius convinced her to meet up with Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales. After getting the usual inquiry of her involvement with Peter Parker, she made sure to keep in touch with the other spiders.
  • Her friendship with the Hulk is a more recent affair. She agreed to help Bruce win a bet against Tony Stark. She volunteered so that she can keep his wilder side in check. She demonstrated that in spectacular fashion by using her pheromones to convince him to make her a sandwich. Bruce took the incident in stride, glad that there's someone in the community that can calm down his alter ego.
  • When she found out that Jessica Jones was in the Pantheon as well, she knew what to do. When the door was opened, the detective was understandably miffed by her appearance. And with good reason; when she was mind controlled to kill Daredevil, Spider-Woman almost killed her in retaliation for attacking the Scarlet Witch. The two did meet up afterwards, but it was due to conveniently looking for the same client. Drew came forward to apologize for the incident. Jones responded with a huff... then closed the door. Drew took it as her way of forgiveness.
  • Was one of Hawkeye's many girlfriends over the years. It... wasn't exactly one that either of them enjoyed. The two continue to keep in touch after they broke up, though.
  • Norman still holds a grudge with her involvement with the Avengers' take-down of his Dark Avengers. While he knows she isn't truly involved with Spider-Man's activities, he will gladly make her life a living hell.
  • Was a key player in the Secret Invasion storyline where she was replaced by the Skrull queen who brought down SHIELD at the time. It took a long time before she could restore her reputation after that betrayal. It also made any conversation with Tony Stark awkward as the Skrull dated him for a while.
  • As a former brainwashed member of HYDRA, she shares some comradely with Cammy White. Jessica took interest in taking care of the dolls along side Cammy... all while promising to help the operative deal with the machinations of Bison and Shadaloo face if she needs the help.
  • Her origins have intrigued Wesker as well as how she was able to survive her transformation. There has been more than one occasion when he attacked her. Whie she was able to fend him off, she suspects that he is truly after her DNA in the hopes of adding her genes to his concoction of mutant enhancers.

Piper Halliwell, Phoebe Halliwell and Paige Matthews, Trivumate Goddesses of Botching Personal Gain through Powers (The Charmed Ones)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_2.jpg
From left to right: Phoebe, Piper, Paige
  • Potential Houses: Karma
  • Lesser Goddesses, Intermediate Goddesses with the Power of Three
  • Symbols: The classic triquetra pendant
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolios: Hot Witches, Raised by Grandparents,
  • Domains: Good, Magic, Alchemy, Psychic
  • Heralds: Leo Wyatt, Coop and Henry Mitchell, their husbands
  • High Priestesses: Macy Vaughn, Melanie "Mel" Vera and Margarita "Maggie" Vera
  • Former Member: Prue Halliwell Deceased
  • Allies: Buffy Summers, Willow Rosenberg, Sam and Dean Winchester, Samantha and Darrin Stephens, Lana, Rinoa Heartilly, Zatanna Zatara, Kiki
  • Enemies: Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Cia, Nine the Phantom, the Wicked Witch of the West
  • Complicated Relationship: Sabrina Spellman
  • A temple resembling a small house from San Francisco is the home of the Halliwell sisters, consisting of Piper, Phoebe and Paige. All three sisters were the daughter of Patty Halliwell, though in Paige's case she was the result of an extramarital affair with a Whitelighter. Their mother tragically died in their childhood, leaving them to the care of their grandmother. It was shortly after her death that they discovered that they were descendants of the Warren line of witches and that if three of them existed they can conjure the Power of Three, the most powerful form of magic in their world. Prue was the oldest of the sisters with Phoebe being the youngest. Her tragic death forced them to find a new long lost sister; Paige Matthews. Together, they continued where their mother left off and vanquish demons and warlocks who threaten others.
    • When they applied for ascension, the title they received was a rather embarrassing one. The Court of the Gods noticed how many times the witches tried to use their powers for personal gain... only to fail all the same. The three accepted the offer in stride, but figured that they can at least teach their followers not to do so.
    • There were still a couple caveats with their ascension. For one, many gods were not happy with their treatment of Cole Turner's attempts to do good. While he did end up being evil, many good-aligned gods believed they could have done more to redeem him. Phoebe and Paige also received accusations of Jerkiness and Idiot Ball respectively. Nevertheless, they gained enough support to all their stay.
  • As the three sisters deal with evil magic users on a daily basis, they became familiar with the work of Quan Chi, God of Profane Magic. The Outworld resider decided to dispose of the newcomers themselves. While he gained the upper hand, he was forced to retreat when they used the Power of Three. His new mission is to separate the sisters so that he can pick them off one by one.
    • Cashing in on a favor, he managed to convince Shang Tsung to do the task. Disguised as Phoebe, he sought to steal the soul of Piper first when she least suspected it. Thankfully, Phoebe's premonition was able to sniff out the attempt.
  • Among those most familiar with their work is Willow, ally of Buffy the Vampire slayer. While the redhead has been around longer, she nevertheless was a big fan of their arrival. Likewise, the sisters believed that Buffy's popularity helped convince others to look into their stories. The two series even had respectable comic book runs. It wouldn't take much to get the sisters to help out the Scoobies.
  • The Winchester brothers were also happy to see them in the Pantheon proper. Their series debuted the year before Charmed ended. Dean's disappointment at the three's unavailability aside, the two groups have an amiable relationship. The brothers appreciate the extra firepower that the sisters provide.
  • The three had a tumultuous time when it came to relationships, but all three sisters eventually found loving husbands for themselves. Samantha just had to invited them all over to dinner. The Charmed Ones were initially nervous, knowing Samantha's whimsy tendencies, but the dinner itself turned out to be a fun experience. The only issue being a couple of Quan Chi's followers thought it would be a good idea to crash the party on their own. They were swiftly thrashed afterwards.
  • While not in the subhouse of Witches ////& Wizards, they made sure to feel at home there, all with the caveat of dealing with allies and enemies alike:
    • Loves Zatanna's style as well as practical use of her powers as a magician. In a way, they wish they could have though of using their powers that way. Also sides with Rinoa as their heritage works somewhat similarly. Their powers pass down genetically while Riona's come from her species. Meanwhile, they seek to contain the menace that is Nine the Phantom. With that said, they promised Jubei to keep her alive for him to try and redeem her.
    • It was revealed that Piper helped secure the ruby slippers Dorothy used to get back home. In response, the Wicked Witch of the West decided to pay her a visit, demanding to know where they were. Piper responded by freezing her in place and sending her on her merry way.
    • Don't know what to make of Sabrina Spellman. In a way, she reminds them of their younger selves... especially in the ways she tried to make personal gains out of her powers... to the same amount of success. They hope to teach her how to make better use of her powers.
  • Exclusive to Piper:
    • It was initially thought that her powers involved slowing down time, but it was later revealed that she actually freezes the molecules in one's body. It would explain how her other ability involves combusting her enemies in flames. It makes her one of the toughest magical beings to approach in a direct fight, though it is possible to resist the effects. Piper is also prone to be over reliant on her abilities, as she has the least experience fighting hand-to-hand.
    • Was glad of her adept chef skills, as they came in handy later when it came to making potions. She remains the best sister in that regard.
  • Exclusive to Phoebe:
    • The unassuming Phoebe may lack any offensive abilities but she makes up for it in other ways. For one, she can gaze into the future, which makes tracking easier while making it difficult for anyone to add her. She also learned how to fight before she got her powers. This and the fact that she has the highest resistance against magic makes her a formidable adversary against mages. Phoebe recently gained the ability to levitate which only adds to her fighting prowess.
    • Before Paige, it was Phoebe who was the rebellious little child, notoriously nicknamed 'Freebe' for her sexual escapades. Luckily, those days are behind her and she wants things to stay that way.
  • Exclusive to Paige:
    • Contrary to her rebel past, she was Happily Adopted to loving parents to their deaths. It was then that she discovered her true potential. There were worries that being the Suspiciously Similar Substitute would bring down the show. Instead, her arrival would mark the Golden Age for the series, avoiding the fate of bring The Scrappy of the series.
    • Paige developed telekinesis from former member Prue, but with some differences. Namely, she can only teleport objects into her grasp, in a way a Whitelighter orbs himself to other places.. She has later learned to make more creative uses for these powers. She also gained some Whitelighter abilities such as orbing, hovering and even healing.
    • It could be said that she had the same issue with the Mother in gaining popularity in a show well into its run. Nevertheless, both succeeded in their roles. It also helped that Paige helped her friend fend off some troll followers of Trollkaiger. The two became friends shortly afterwards.

We can tolerate so many screw up before it gets old.

Super wiki, you are repeatedly told to NOT do certain things and you still do it anyway. Do you want us to get strict with you?
