Pantheon / GUAG Support Staff

Go To

The Support Staff has perhaps the least glamorous jobs among the Grand United Alliance of Good, as they are the ones behind the scenes who keep everything running smoothly. It is these who are in charge of preparing the food, of cleaning the bases and battlefields, of preparing and repairing equipment, and of keeping the combatants' skills sharp. It is here where the gods in charge of funding the war effort are categorized by the bureaucracy and legal department, which are also located here. It is here where gods who have little in the way of relevant and useful skills go to do their part with simple grunt work, something that has given it the nickname of the "miscellaneous department" among its members. However, while their tasks have little glory, and history will likely forget them, without them, the war would be lost barely before it had ever begun.

Aoi Sakuraba, Goddess of Devotion (Aoi-chan)

    Ariel
Ariel, Goddess of Merfolk
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: A purple Seashell Bra
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: Cosmos offered her legs and a stint with the humans.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High-she offered Ariel a better deal than the sea-witch did.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low-Medium; With the Lord of the Sea as her father, she has some control over her (formal) watery domain.

    Arthur Fonzarelli
Arthur Fonzarelli, God of Cool (The Fonz, Fonzie)
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A black bomber jacket
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining:
  • Loyalty to Cosmos:
  • Threat Level to Melkor:

    Ash Ketchum
Ash Ketchum, God of Gotta Buy Them All (Satoshi, Pokemon Master, Red, Twerp, Ashley)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A Poké Ball
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: To protect the millions of innocent Pokémon that would be used as bio-weapons by the GUAE.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Moderate.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. His army of Pokémon are a force to be reckoned with, and there are many of god-level power among his allied forces.

    Belldandy
Belldandy, Goddess of Magical Girlfriends
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A blue gem shaped like a teardrop
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: Because the GUAE is threatening those she cares about.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Part of her contract with Cosmos demands utter loyalty, but even Belldandy herself likes Cosmos genuinely, not because of the contract.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: VERY HIGH. Melkor knew she's just restraining herself. She'd be on the same level of Haruhi if she decided to get serious

    Bender
Bender Bending Rodriguez, God of Ridiculously Human Robots
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A bottle of Olde Fortran. Empty. BURP.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Good guys usually have better booze, and are much easier to steal valuables from.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Low. He's out for himself, he just understands that Cosmos is less likely to think that he has outlived his usefulness.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Unknown. He has personal experience at godhood, as well as coaching from a more skilled god. Most of that is what not to do.

    BRIAN BLESSED
BRIAN BLESSED, God of Merriment (That Man Who Shouts A Lot, Brian Blessed, Prince Vultan)
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Multiple Exclamation Points
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: Because it seemed a SMASHING GOOD TIME, HA HAAA!
  • Loyalty to Cosmos:
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. He hopes to defeat him before he goes deaf.

    Bridget
Bridget, God of Surprise Gender Reveals and Yo-Yos (Buri-chan, Nun Boy)
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: A blue nun hood
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Reason for joining: To prove that he is a man. (*punch*)
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Cosmos referred to him as a guy at first sight, which was the first plus point in Bridget's opinion. The fact Cosmos asked nicely if he wouldn't mind helping out the GUAG was enough to convince Bridget to side with her.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low.

    Carmen Sandiego
Carmen Sandiego, Goddess of Impossible, Monumental, and Intangible (Carmen Isabela Sandiego)
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Her red trench coat and fedora
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Carmen may be a criminal, but she's in it for the fun, not to cause anybody harm. She sees no benefit to joining the GUAE, and sees life as being much more fun under the less strict rule of Good. She also thought it was a little unfair the GUAE had so many members capable of stealing materials valuable to the GUAG, so she offered her services to Cosmos to even the odds.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Unknown; although Carmen claims to have no loyalty to anyone besides herself, she is also known to be fairly amicable even with her opponents, not to mention she volunteered her services to the GUAG completely of her own accord. Cosmos ultimately decided she will keep Carmen as an ally for as long as she supports their cause.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High, if indirect. While she possesses no combat skills and thus cannot fight the GUAE head-on, a lot of their resources could be lost as a result of her meddling, giving those in the GUAG that can fight a considerable edge in the long-term battle.

    C.C.
C.C., Goddess of Product Placement (Pizza Butt)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Cheese-kun
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: To ensure that the forces of good are never without Pizza Hut brand pizza! Also, Lelouch is joining.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: C.C. asked to be part of the support troops (i.e.- Advisor on Foodstuffs), and Cosmos accepted, and she often hangs around the kitchens of the GUAG, when she isn't hanging around Lelouch.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate-High. As she has a Code, she literally cannot be killed or stopped, only slowed down. As someone related to junk food supplies, she is key to morale, and as an ally of Lelouch, she knows her way around a mecha. She isn't a combat specialist, however, so she isn't as much of a threat as a direct fighter would be.

    Chester A. Bum
Chester A. Bum, God of the Homeless (Chester Alfred Bum)
  • "I was a Lesser God once! It tastes like butter."
  • Symbol: A Styrofoam change cup
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Chester may have frequent run-ins with the law, but he's really a good person at heart. Of course, the fact that the "nice, big, glowy lady" lets him stay in a "warm, warm building" as long as he stays helps quite a bit.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Chester knows he can count on her for change and a "warm, warm building".
  • Threat to Melkor: Not much. All Melkor has to do is throw a handful of change somewhere and Chester goes running after it. Chester tends to be kept out of essential combat roles. Since he is now in charge of the Plot Hole, however...

    Cirno
Cirno, Goddess of Idiots (Baka, Nine-ball)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A figure 9 in a circle
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: A chance to surprise the GUAE with "Icicle Fall (Lunatic)".
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Too stupid to be swayed by either side.
  • Threat level to Melkor: Medium. On one hand, Melkor himself would consider her being nothing more than a pest. On other hand, she can be an extremely persistent pest, only being crippled by how motivated she feels like.

    Columbo
Lieutenant Columbo, God of Obfuscating Stupidity and Exiting One-Liners
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A rumpled beige trenchcoat, cigar and faded green Peugeot 203 convertible.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: He knows that the GUAE are a dysfunctional lot, and plans to use that to his advantage.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High.
  • Threat Level to Melkor:Low. He just seems a little too... odd to be a genuine threat.

  • Threat Level to Melkor: Medium-Low. He has blades for hands but he's usually too well-meaning and shy to kill someone. Usually.

    Eikichi Onizuka
Eikichi Onizuka, Great Teaching God (Great Teacher Onizuka, GTO)
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His motorcycle, complete with a plate with the number "22" on it
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: Protecting his students from the REAL bad guys.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Loyal. Even though Cosmos has sometimes responded to his 'advances' with a bit of violence (and that's usually if Onizuka goes too far, which he quickly apologizes)
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderately high. Those suplexes hurt like a mofo.

    Elan
Elan, God of Wandering Minstrels
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: Banjo, God of Puppets
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: Just followed his alignment.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High, seeing as she's part of a major quest.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate. His Genre Savvyness could spoil some of his traps.

    Elenore Baker
Elenore Baker, Goddess of Ninja Maids (Everyday Gatekeeper)
  • Greater Goddess
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (with Lawful tendencies)
  • Symbol: Heart with Margaret Burton's picture on it, but most (if not all) of her followers prefer Elenore's picture on the symbol.
  • Reason for Joining: Not only does she oppose evil on general principles, she wants to aid Jeremiah Gottwald, who she finds especially chivalrous, especially to her most recent high priestess, Sayoko Shinozaki.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Helps keep the bases of the GUAG clean, and Cosmos appreciation of her efforts is greatly appreciated.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low to Moderate. Cleanliness is next to godliness!

    Esmerelda Weatherwax
Esmerelda Weatherwax, Goddess of Mature Witches (Granny Weatherwax)
  • Lesser Goddess (technically, an aspect of a greater goddess)
  • Symbol: a 4000-horsepower broom
  • Reason for Joining: She might not consider herself to be all that good a person, but she took one look at the GUAE, and said "I can't be having that.".
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: She's helping Cosmos because she just can't stand the GUAE, and is grateful Cosmos hasn't treated her like a crotchety old crone.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. She can manipulate time, take out immortal beings, and invert the process of becoming a vampire.

    Excel
Excel, Goddess of Hyperactivity (real name unknown; sometimes called Excel Excel)
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A pit filled with crocodiles
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Only Lord Il Palazzo is allowed to rule! (She suspects he may secretly be under Cosmos' employ.)
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Low, though she thinks Cosmos would make a great ACROSS agent.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. She once made his ears bleed simply by talking.

    Fat Buu
Fat Majin Buu, God of Assimilation Backfires (Fat Buu, Mr. Buu, Good Majin Buu)
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A pudding-flavored candy ball
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (formerly Chaotic Obliviously Evil)
  • Reason for Joining: To finally defeat his evil side, though Mr. Satan and Cosmos agree that he should be kept off active duty for fear of him being re-assimilated into Kid Buu and forcibly joining the GUAE.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Luckily still high because he is still oblivious to her and Satan's efforts to prevent him entering the Combat Division full time. Besides, if he gets his candy and toys, all is good.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate, given that he is less powerful than his own brute, the pure Kid Buu. Melkor wants to capture Fat Buu so he can recreate Super Buu for his own agenda.

    Fry
Fry, God of Grandfathering Paradoxes
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Bachelor Chow
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: Just hanging out with Bender, really.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Higher than Bender's but still low.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Unknown. Melkor consider him too dumb to be a real threat. However, he is a wild card, as he is not only Too Dumb to Fool, but completely immune to mind control.

    The Genie
The Genie, God of Genies and Parental Bonuses
  • Greater God (formerly an Overdeity when bound to his lamp)
  • Symbol: A magic lamp
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (formerly True Neutral)

  • Loyalty to Cosmos: The girl's gotten a lot of positive reviews all across the board, and Genie friended her on facebook.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. Would have been very high or extreme, but Genie is a rather playful sort. And the whole, "semi-phenominal, nearly-cosmic" downgrade.

    Godot
Godot, God of Coffee (Diego Armando)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbols: A mug of black, bitter coffee, and his creepy visor
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: He serves the side of justice. That's one of his rules.

  • Demigod, but more than capable of throwing Greater Gods out of his House if they anger him.
  • Symbol: A pitchfork flanked by the letters H and K, a Michelin Star, and/or a meat cleaver
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Lawful with his care of the food safety and kitchen health, absolutely apeshit Chaotic when it doesn't follow his standards)
  • Reason for Joining: To make sure that the food served to the GUAG is up to standard, and f*** off if it's RAW!!!!
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Moderate. His domain is food, not fighting for her. He will make sure every member of her alliance is well-fed. Anyway, his duty as head chef in the House of Food takes precedence over picking a side.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate. Killing him would lower the standards of food in the GUAG, but Melkor couldn't care less.

    Hartman
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, Training Instructor From Hell
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Several ribbons he earned as a Marine
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (seen as Lawful Evil by those assigned to him)
  • Reason for Joining: To toughen up the GUAG members to fight those bastards in the GUAE.

  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: That's how Supa-Hiros roll.

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A compass with a translucent heart overlaid
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (with shades of Good)
  • Reason for Joining: Jack's all about freedom, mate, and he don't take orders from anybody, savvy? The autocratic Alliance of Evil is, as such, right out. He isn't with the Alliance of Good formally, he is simply going along with them until such time as the threat of the GUAE has passed.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Not loyalty per se, but as long as Cosmos doesn't try to force him to do anything he doesn't want to, he'll help the GUAG against the GUAE.

  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: To find out what the GUAE is really up to.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Provided she's not in on the conspiracy, Jade remains loyal to Cosmos.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Unknown. She seems to be just another reporter with a staff, but her Charged Attack is worrisome - she's resurrected the dead on one occasion, may be an alien life force with godlike powers - and she may have restarted her own franchise.

  • Threat to Melkor: Melkor initally thought it would of be low due to how easy she was kidnapped, but it's actually almost as extreme as Professor Kabuto and Professor Saotome above, especially upon seeing Mithra grant Asura his first usage of his Mantra Form. The fact that she can make other spiritually powerful beings even more powerful thanks to her prayers doesn't help him much, either.

    Seto Kaiba
Seto Kaiba, CEO of Young Money (Kaiba Boy, The Prince of Games)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The KaibaCorp logo

Sherlock Holmes, God of Deductive Reasoning (The Consulting Detective, Sigerson, Holmes, Sherringford)
  • Demigod
  • Symbols: A deerstalker hat, a magnifying glass and a pipe

  • Loyalty to Cosmos: She has him on the GUAG's retainer to solve some of the more dastardly plots enacted by the GUAE, and besides, Cosmos reminds him (in a good way) of the only woman he was ever beaten by. Not to mention, the GUAE has his mortal enemy amongst their forces, so his loyalty is quite high.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. Holmes's deductive skills are second to none, and can potentially foil many schemes. Recently weaponized those deductive skills, not only increasing his threat level in direct combat, but greatly decreasing the threat of assassination. Also picked up a tendency to be Crazy-Prepared.

  • Loyalty to Cosmos: So, he did what any hero would do. Join the good guys and swear allegiance to their leader, though he's made it clear that this decision was not one he is absolutely obligated to do. Cosmos merely told him to follow his conscience, and as a result, he's a team player for now.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Very High. A virtually limitless supply of enchanted weapons to be used against him is no laughing matter.

    Shuichi Shindou and Eiri Yuki
Shuichi Shindou and Eiri Yuki, Gods of Yaoi
  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: BL
  • Alignment: Neutral Good

  • Demigoddess (Greater God, arguably Overdeity, when angry)

  • Symbol: A Metamoran vest with the Capsule Corps logo on it (Trunks). An Orange Gi and his family Hereditary Hairstyle (Goten).
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (Trunks) and Neutral Good (Goten)
  • Reason for Joining: Because their fathers Goku and Vegeta are in the Combat Division. Chichi won't let them into active frontline duty, they're too young. (Bulma's too busy in the GUAG Engineering Division) Not that Goten's overly upset about it. Trunks is, though.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High, so long as their friends stay alive. They'll battle for them if they have to.

  • Reason for joining: To prevent the world from becoming a dull, boring place.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: They follow the lead of their leader, Haruhi. She's loyal (kinda), so they are.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Immeasurable. Haruhi's powers as a Reality Warper could SERIOUSLY mess up his plans. Fortunately for him, she is easily distracted. So far he kept her busy with side adventures, but he is running out of material. And with the ascension of her friends, this issue has become worse. He has resorted to kidnapping writers to stall her and the rest for the time being.

    Speed Racer
Speed Racer, God of Awesome Cars

  • Symbol: The Mach 9
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: Racing a car isn't much, but it's all he knows how to do and he has to do something.

Spongebob Squarepants, Cash Cow Franchises (The Invincibubble, Dirty Dan/Pinhead Larry, SpongeBoob, Cheesehead, The Quickster, Spingebill)
  • Lesser God (can reach Intermediate God status as The Invicibubble)
  • Symbol: His pineapple house. Alternatively, his face on a background resembling his yellow-green body.
  • Alignment: Varies between Neutral Good and Chaotic Neutral.
  • Reason for Joining: Officially, because its the right thing to do. Unofficially, many suspect it to be a power play.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Unknown.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Extreme. He is immortal, and regenerates much faster than many of the other similar beings on each side. And as a character from a comedy, his power knows no defined limits.

    Steve Irwin
Steve Irwin, Keeper of Beasts (The Crocodile Hunter)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The Saltwater Crocodile
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: If the GUAE is allowed to win, all sorts of Irwin's beloved beasts would be enslaved and used as troops, living weapons, or things to hunt. In the name of the Crocs, he must be vigilant.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: He asked her if she thought all animals should be given refuge from being used for war or the whims of evil. She agreed (though pointed out some of the Pantheon has animal formed gods that have joined the fight, and after a little debate on the subject, he joined hands with the GUAG.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate To High, especially if Steve manages to Heel–Face Turn most of the bestial forces in Melkor's forces. Come to think of it, he never did meet Melkor before, so if he confuses him for a interesting new animal and proceeds to tackle him, the threat level could be significantly larger.

    Takeshi Kaga
Takeshi Kaga, God of Cuisine (Chairman Kaga)
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A yellow bell pepper
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Elzam von Branstein invited him to prepare meals to keep the GUAG in good health, and he accepted, as long as Elzam accepted a cooking duel, which he did.

  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low to Moderate normally, as she isn't too enthusiastic about fighting. But as an extreme Mama Bear, if she sees the younger warriors of the GUAG in danger she may enter her Esper form and leap into the fray to save them. In this state of mind with her primal instincts active and her powers heightened, her rating rises to High.

    Tinker Bell
Tinker Bell, Goddess of Fairies (Tink)
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: A tiny magic wand
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: The GUAE refuse to believe in fairies, which would weaken her

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A Golden Ticket.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (let's just say he's not...responsible for the consequences of not listening to him)
  • Reason for Joining: In a world ruled by evil, there is no place for candy. Such a world cannot be allowed to be.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: His loyalty for her was affirmed rather strongly when he found out she had a sweet tooth.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low, unless Melkor could somehow be enticed into Mr. Wonka's factory. He provides direct support to L, though.

    Yugi Muto
Yugi Muto, the King of Games (Yug, Yugi Boy, Other Me, Partner, Little Yugi, Vessel Of The Pharaoh)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A Dark Magician
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: With Zorc present on the GUAE, Yugi fears that the Games of Darkness will be unleashed upon humanity once more, and the Nameless Pharaoh and his reincarnation/host/successor is/are the only one(s) who can seal them. Third time's the charm!

  • Reason for Joining: To be with her Mama and Papa, though they're smart enough to keep her out of harm's way.

The Turaga of Mata Nui/Toa Metru/Toa Hordika
The Turaga of Mata Nui (previously the Toa Metru and the Toa Hordika)members , Gods and Goddess of Precursor Heroes
  • Lesser Deities (Intermediate Deities as Toa)
  • Symbol: (as Turaga) their Badges of Office, (as Toa) their Toa Disks
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (as a Team, each member has their own alignment)
  • Reason for their Presence: The Turaga are not members of the GUAG; while they admire the Alliance’s general attitude, they cannot support ‘the destruction of evil’ and everything that that entails. This, however, does not mean that they do not want to participate in the struggle against the forces of evil and destruction and as such have taken it upon themselves to act as advisors for the GUAG without actually joining the organisation. As age-old heroes and leaders with a millennium of experience and the wisdom to match, most members accept their stance.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: None. While they are on friendly terms with the Goddess, nor are opposed to accepting an authority, they wish to preserve their independence from the GUAG for the reasons above.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Regarding their individual abilities, the Turaga, even when taking their Metru forms, do not possess a significant combat threat. As Vakama will tell you, however, a few powerful words in the right place can be more significant than the sharpest of blades or most devastating of Nova Blasts; given the respect that most members of the Pantheon afford to them and that they have not only the Toa Nuva and Toa Mahri's but also the Great Spirit Mata Nui’s audio receptors, their threat level should probably be considered to be High and at the very least Medium.
