Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Im thinking of changing their trope to Goroawase Number

Hiro and Zero Two, Dual Deities of Forgotten First Meeting (Hiro: Code:016, Darling, Madman, Local Dinoboy. Zero Two: Code:002, Nine Iota, O-NI, eo to, Potato Two, Local Dinogirl)

Zero Two and Hiro

  • Theme Song: Kiss of Death. Remix ver
  • Rank: Hiro (Demigod). Zero Two (Lesser Goddess). In Strelizia (Intermediate). Strelizia True Apus (Greater)
  • Symbol: Jian Bird. Alternatively their picture book or the cherry blossom tree
  • Alignment: True Neutral (Hiro). Chaotic Neutral (Zero Two). Later on Neutral Good (both)
  • Portfolio: Being Compare to the Jian, Dance of Romance, Interspecies Romance, Beast and Beauty, Only Interested in Each Other, Official Couple, Laser-Guided Amnesia, Red Oni, Blue Oni, Can't Live Without Each Other, Being Reborn to Continue Their Love
  • Domains: Romance, Combat, Mecha,
  • Allies: Team Dai-Gurren, Ryuko Matoi and Senketsu, Kaito Kirishima and Ichika Takatsuki, Izuku Midoriya, EVA Pilots, Belle and Beast, Ariel and Prince Eric, Yuya Sakaki and Yuzu Hiiragi, Miia, Lum Invader, Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori, Winnie the Pooh, Katniss Everdeen, The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince
  • Enemies: Anti-Spiral, Lorenzo Keels, Sora Takigawa, Ragyo Kiryuin, Zero, Hojo
  • Hiro and Zero Two, two beings drawn to each other. But as it turns out the two knew each other long ago as children when Hiro attempted to rescued Zero Two from her torture. Sadly, the two ended up forgetting one another thanks to having their memories being wiped.
  • Seperating the two is seen as a very bad move. Not only would they end up emotionally broken, they would do very crazy things to be together. Especially for Hiro who is known for his reckless action. Something both admired and questioned by others.
  • Because the two were sadly unable to get married before their Heroic Sacrifice, they were offered a chance to get officially married. While they were flattered, they decided to wait. If only because they want their friends to be there.
  • Both Hiro and Zero Two mistook both Scanty and Kneesock as Klaxosaurs since they look like Zero Two's Klaxosaur form. While the Demon Sisters didn't flinch at the comparison, they did when Hiro thought they were Zero Two's aunts.
  • Both became friends with the Dai-Gurren Team with their dynamic feeling very familiar to them and their friends. Some people have often compare Hiro's determination to that of Kamina. Funny enough, it seems Hiro often quotes Kamina's "Believe" speech. The couple are also compared to Simon and Nia when it comes to devotion and tragic romance. Though, Hiro and Zero Two were lucky to to be reincarnated to restart their romance.
  • One of Zero Two's greatest regret was her utter obsession of becoming human to the point it caused her to act like the monster she despise being called and also nearly killing her Darling. Because of that she doesn't have high opinion of those who would do dangerous things to be human. Like Sora aka Gremlin.
  • Zero Two learned she isn't the only monster girl who calls her love interest Darling when she met the space oni Lum and snake girl Miia. The trio do get along pretty well. With the exception being their competitiveness on who is the better "Darling".
  • The two Franxx pilots got along very well with the Jaeger pilots of Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori since their mechs followed the "two pilots, one mind" set up.
  • The two once met both Ryuko Matoi and Senketsu and hit it off. The four were able to connect because of some similarity between them; Hiro and Senketsu being utterly devoted to their female partners that they will risk anything for them and Zero Two and Ryuko being troubled girls with issues being hybrids but being able to cope thanks to their partners. They also realized that they each become stronger the closer they are with their Partners.
  • Hiro has shown admiration to Katniss Everdeen when he learned about how she stood up against her society that would place children in death games. Especially when those who did it were adults. Hiro has a sour spot on adults who would use kids.
  • Both Hiro and Zero got a chance to interact with their predecessor of the "putting kids in giant robot battling monsters with physiological and sexual issues" with the EVA Children. The group are often contrast amongst themselves with Hiro being seen more proactive and who is able to express his love to his Love Interest compare to Shinji and Zero Two as the red headed love interest with emotional issues with Jerkass tendency who was able to get better when compare to Asuka and being a more emotional artificial created being to Rei. Though, neither group want to hear the compare/contrast of lover goes comatose with one boy not wanking off over her body.
    • Both pilots have also express their anger against Lorenzo Keele and Gendo Ikari. The first because his plan for Intrumentality meant putting everybody in the world in one mind which reminds them of VIRMS own plan. And for Gendo it's because as a father he was willing to manipulate his own son for his own gain.
  • The duo have gottton allng very well with some of the fairy tales couples that dealt with curses like Ariel/Eric and Belle/Beast. But they have been most closest to the Liar Princess and Blind Princes since they reminded them of the picture book they cherish.
  • Because of the cruel experiments Hiro saw Zero Two gone through, he developed a hatred towards scientists who would cruelly experiment on others.

@Whirl: I suggest wording their title as Dual Deities of the Forgotten First Meeting. But if you want the new trope, then Dual Deities of Puns In Japanese Numbers

  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (or depends on their leader)
  • Portfolio: The Unintelligible, Regenerating Health, Squishy Wizard, Spawn Broodling that One-Hit Kill, Seeing Through Another's Eyes via Parasite, Ensnare, Returning In Legacy of the Void After Their Absence In The Second Game
  • Domain(s): Zerg, Spawn Broodling, Parasites
  • Superiors: Sarah Kerrigan, Alexei Stukov, Zagara, Abathur, Amon (formerly), anyone that can Mind Control them
  • Allies:
  • Rivals:
  • Bane of: All organic ground units, including vehicles manned by organic pilots
  • Enemies: the Imperium of Man, the Star Fox team, all Star Trek deities
  • As it is known, the Zerg Swarm grows by assimilating DNA from other species. In the case of the Queen, it's from the Arachnis brood-keeper. Queens (or Brood Queens, to differentiate from the current Queen units) usually helped administrate the Swarm, and stayed near the hives where they oversaw maturing zerg and drone activities. Their primary role was as an infestation specialist. Implanting parasites, ensnaring via a spray of mucus, infesting heavily-damaged command centers, and most infamously, instant-killing enemies and spawning Broodlings out of them, which is the trope they're ascending for.
  • As for how dangerous these Broodlings are, they are originally grown from globs of spores launched from these Queens. These spores attempt to 'fertilize' any organic matter they come into contact with and are capable of eating through even the armored hulls of vehicles to reach the occupants within. If these spores make contact with an organic being, they force the organism to metabolize, serving as the breeding ground for a near instantaneous metabolization and birth of a pair of broodlings. The explosive birth is fatal to the host.
  • While they have since been phased out by the new Zerg Queens, these old ones continued to exist at Aiur, and were shortly taken control of by Amon during the End War. Alexei Stukov would eventually claim some and field them himself, and that was how they got ascended in the first place after he made an appeal to the Court of the Gods.
  • Their present "temple" takes the form of a standard Zerg Hive cluster plus an Infested Command Center that had been acquired during the conflict against the United Earth Directorate. It's been instructed to keep to itself, defend itself from attacks on its location, and send out forces to any Zerg superior should they call for them.
  • With their Spawn Broodling ability, they're the bane of any unit on the ground, no matter their size, their strength, or how much machine is between them and the outside. The only ones immune to this are Energy Beings (like Protoss Archons), completely robotic units (like Protoss Probes and Reavers), and other non-organics. It's also ofset by the fact that it takes a lot of energy from the Queen, requiring it to recharge a lot before being able to Spawn Broodling again.
  • It's not often shown, but Brood Queens are capable of operating in the air and on the ground.
  • Brood Queens' Ensnare can drastically slow down those in drenches, negating the effects of Terran Stim Packs, and putting air units at a disadvantage.
  • Brood Queens' Parasites allow them to see whatever their host sees (that includes invisibility detection if the host has it). However, for some reason, they lose sight of the host when they enter a building or a transport vessel. Additionally, a Queen's Parasite can be overridden by another Queen's Parasite.
  • While the following hatreds apply to the Zerg race as a whole, as species representatives who aren't special cases (like Kerrigan), the (Brood) Queens are often targets of the Imperium, the Star Fox team, and all Star Trek deities (sans the Borg, who in turn wish to assimilate them).

@GrayShadow: Hmm... I can tell he fits cause the series is morbidly entertaining because of the Gorn, but please give a better and elaborate reason for Hank to have the trope other than "oh, he's famous on Newgrounds" like it's not enough, bro.

@louisent I know I said I approved of the rule in the previous page, but now that I've thought about it, I would like to suggest altering this sentence: "Insert how the trope represents the character and why you think the character deserves to be nominated."

...by adding this after it (or an equivalent): And make sure the explanation is detailed and unbiased, so nothing like, "They're just famous for it.", "I just think they should be in the Pantheon.", etc. Even if the character is popular, you should assume we have no knowledge of the character.

Alright, let me explain with more clarity. (It's almost time for me to go to sleep, so this will be my last attempt for tonight.) Also, how can my profiles be courted, if I have to propose a trope first?

  • Hank J. Wimbleton-Gorn
    • Hank is "The Protagonist" of Madness Combat: a series of animations that empathizes the trope Gorn. This is invoked by Hank and other characters killing each other via firearms, melee weaponry, body parts, and their bare hands. Hank himself has been killed multiple times in many ways, but continues to come back to life and continue killing those who stand in his way. There's not much plot in the animations other than: "People wearing unique outfits fights enemies," which means that nothing much obscures the "gorn" facet of Madness Combat. Most of the characters that Hank works with or against have their own unique traits, such as Tricky being a Monster Clown who is Drunk On Power or Jebus being a Kung-Fu Jesus on a quest to restore peace. Hank, on the other hand, does not have much that characterizes him as a person other than "trench coat wearing bloke who knows how to kill." That is why I believe he ought to be ascended under the trope Gorn.

Countersuggestion for Goroawase Number: The Vongola. The members of the Vongola all share a portion of the numbers imbedded in their names. While 2 of the exceptions in the series are from their opponents, all members exhibit at least one aspect of it. Proof:

27: Tsunayoshi Sawada
59: Hayato Gokudera
80: Takeshi Yamamoto
69: Mukuro Rokudo
96: Chrome (Kuromu) Dokuro
18: Kyoya Hibari

[down]As much as I would follow your suggestion, this will be one of the very few times I will not follow with it. I've watched both shows and I see that the Vongola has enough character development compared to Squad 13 to warrant them the trope, as for Forgotten First Meeting, Haku comes to mind,

[down]New reply: Well if thats the case, I personally believe there are far more superior suggestions for Goroawase Number. It doesn't help that there are basically two profiles from the same series in both Pending Gods and in whirl's sandbox, and I prefer to have a much better potential candidate.

[up]There's also Rainbow Motif for the Vongola, since the seven (I'm counting the six people above mentioned, taking into account that Mukuro and Chrome are technically the same person, and the missing Ryohei and Lambo) of them are associated with the seven colors of the rainbow. I feel like Forgotten First Meeting has more potential.

[up]You are still trying to give them a trope that excludes important members of their posse (Ryohei and Lambo).

Doing an another nomination which I adopted from Menace.

  • The Ouran Host Clubnote , Divine Host Club
    • Ouran Academy is a rich school where it’s students came from an extremely wealthy background. One of the most popular clubs in the academy is the Host Club, an independent club where it’s main purposes are to treat their customers with entertainment and respect regardless of what they are, majority of whom are females. The Host Club also did a number of activities that they think will make a great service to their customers such as turning their club room into a beach or turning it into Japanese-themed and even wearing yukatas for it. Each of the members also represent and have to role play a different archetype that appeals to their clientele.

@Hamana I agree with wootzits on giving the Vongola crew a trope that would apply to all of them, not just most of them. But instead of Rainbow Motif, what about Technicolor Fire? Both Flames and their colors are an important part of the show from nearly the beginning. And there’s a color and special meaning for all of them.

  • Tsuna: Orange/Sky
  • Gokudera: Red/Storm
  • Yamamoto: Blue/Rain
  • Ryohei: Yellow/Sun
  • Lambo: Green/Thunder
  • Hibari: Violet/Cloud
  • Chrome: Indigo/Mist

Who hides themselves behind a robotic suit to hide their true form, given that the fat Velo is actually just a robot suit.

Emperor Velo, God of Double Unlock Requirements (Emperor Velo XXVII, Velo the 27th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emperor_velo.png
Velo's True Form
  • Potential House: Challenge
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A gold chain with the letter "V" and the Velo Mask.
  • Theme Song: Hyper Spaceway
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Aliens Are Bastards, Aliens Speaking English, Astral Finale, Bad Boss, Big Bad, Card-Carrying Villain, Actually a tiny alien in a robot suit, The Napoleon, Flunky Boss, Final Boss, Sore Loser
  • Domains: Aliens, Racing, Evil, Competition, Unlocking, Size
  • Heralds: Krunk, Nash, The Norms, Geary
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: The rest of the Crash Bandicoot deities, deities from the Super Mario Bros. universe, Captain Falcon, Dominic Toretto
  • An alien overlord who kidnaps the best racers on the galaxy and challenges them to a series of races, Emperor Velo the 27th is an Evil Overlord who believes himself to be the greatest racer of all. But his hubris would crumble once he got defeated by the racers he kidnapped from Earth, either being Team Bandicoot or Team Cortex. His defeat would eventually reveal to the world that his appearance was not truly the imposing alien every saw him as but merely another tiny green alien like the rest of his race with a huge Napoleon complex. Velo would get a second chance at racing after he was selected to be the representative of the Double Unlock title, since he has to be beaten not only twice, but by both the Bandicoots and Cortex's team to be given a chance to play as him.
  • He was invited by Nitros Oxide after the former felt that too many people hated him and he needed a powerful ally at his side. Hence why Emperor Velo decided to show up and he's been observing the racers of the pantheon in order to prove he is the fastest racer in the pantheon. He has grown a begrudging respect for Team Bandicoot as well as Cortex and his lackeys for beating him that one time but he assured that this time he wouldn't lose again.
  • His temple is modeled after his citadel which is modeled after his image. There racers tend to race for the entertainment of a few goblin-like aliens that love racing with Velo being their leader. Besides Team Bandicoot and Team Cortex, other people from the pantheon have also tested their driving skills in several of Velo's challenges like Captain Falcon or the Super Mario deities who are very used to driving karts. To challenge Velo you have to beat four of his best drivers (who happen to be his heralds) and then given the opportunity to race him.
    • He has challenged those even outside kart racing, setting his sights on Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner after hearing of their feats on planet Earth, wanting to see if they would have been able to drive as well as they do in space. To the emperor's surprise, they were able to breeze through most of the challenges and even beat Velo in record time. He didn't take well to that accomplishment.
  • Looks can be deceiving as this isn't actually the true form of the emperor and even if said form has been common knowledge ever since his ascension, Velo has done everything in his power to pretend he is NOT a small little alien like the rest of his people.
  • Similar to Oxide before him, Velo isn't that beloved among deities from his home universe and even the bad guys don't seem to really like him. Only exception would be N. Trance, who in the past brainwashed a couple of the earthling racers to compete for Velo and sometimes is willing to work with the emperor. Oxide also invited Velo to race in Gasmoxia as part of the final Grand Pix in order to finally prove who is the fastest racer in the universe.

If that is the case then I will drop the Vongola entirely. I only have honest thoughts of wanting a better candidate because there are better examples rather than choose a series that has been making a grand mistake of itself 2 years ago.

But a change of topic, here is a second and possibly last draft of Howl and Sophie. Any more suggestions or people I am missing out on, or are they good to go?

Howl and Sophie Hatter, Divine Couple of the Famous Moving Castle (Howl: Howl Jenkins Pendragon, Wizard Howl, Wizard Pendragon, Jenkins the Sorcerer)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/howlandsophie.jpg
Howl and Sophie
  • Lesser God for Howl, Quasideity for Sophie though she is a Lesser God considering her hidden witch powers.
  • Symbol: The eponymous Moving Castle.
  • Theme Song: Promise of the World
  • Alignments: Chaotic Good for Howl, Neutral Good for Sophie.
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Castles, Wizards, Witches, Magic, Love
  • Heralds: The inhabitants of the castle, (Calcifer, Michael Fisher/Markl, Turniphead), Sophie's sisters (Lettie Hatter, Fanny (Honey) Hatter, Martha Hatter)
  • Allies:
  • Conflicting Opinion with: Issei Hyodo
  • Disappointed by: Merlin (for Howl)
  • Pities: The Monster House
  • Enemies: Baba Yaga, Eveline, Hagatha the Witch, The Wicked Witch of the West, Embryo, Shang Tsung, The Hag, Father (or more specifically his Grandfather)
  • Opposes: Barney Stinson, Macbeth and his wife (for Sophie)
  • Professional. Gentlemanly. Irresponsible. These words best describes the Wales wizard Howl. A proper wizard with a proper heart (for the girls at the very least), he is in truth a childish and foolish person, running away from all the responsibilities entrusted to him, and as a result was punished by Mrs. Pentstemmon by being banished to Ingary. This only fueled his freedom, as his success at both magic and girls grew in his new homeland, up to the point that he made a successful contract with a falling star, being the fire demon Calcifer, enhancing his magic further and building the Moving Castle he prides himself upon. This would all end in disaster after attempting to apporach the Witch of the Waste, incurring her wrath. This lead him into being a psuedo-refugee, forced to work under different odd jobs (including one related to supporting a war by another kingdom) while being hunted down by said witch.
    • Some point whether by coincidence or by luck, he met Sophie Hatter, a woman who is told to be the heir of a hat shop and was living a dull life, during a stroll in the small town of Market Chipping. This meeting would land her into bad luck following the Witch of the Waste finding her connection to him after their first meeting and cursed her from her young looks into that of an extremely old lady. Realising this curse, she decided to take refuge in the Moving Castle, not only meeting Howl and his compatriots Calcifer and Michael Fisher but also fixing the castle, becoming its cleaner and eventually the key to freeing Calcifer and most especially giving Howl a new meaning to his life. That or the fact that Sophie might have been a much powerful witch that she never recognized this until its destruction.
  • One point during their return to the Castle, the structure itself managed to hit a bump, causing ruckus on the inside. It turns out that the castle hit the Pantheon's Main Gates and damaged one of its legs. Confused on where they landed if it was Wales or Ingary, the two stepped out and observed the place until security halted them. They would have been banished had Kiki not stepped in and allowed them to have a spot in the place, citing that they've finally arrived for years.
  • The Moving Castle was a byproduct of Howl and Calcifer's deal supposedly a humble abode to him and his inhabitants, if only others would agree. In reality, the "Castle" is a mess, large chunks of metal and wood are dangled or hanged on the exterior and on the interiors, its a dusty room from top to bottom. Thanks to Sophie being one of the inhabitants, the Castle was given a revamp and is much cleaner on the inside. Despite the Castle eventually getting destroyed due to Calcifer's release, the Court of the Gods decided to restore the Castle back to its original self, meaning Sophie will have to clean the entire place once more.
    • The Castle however has more interesting features outside of its exterior legs and movement. Since Calcifer is connected to Howl's heart, he controls the structure and by extension, the lifespan of the Castle. Howl's Magic can also create several doorways to certain places, often having 3, 2 of which are job-based and the other being the Castle's current direction. Due to the Castle's reconstruction, both features have been enabled, with Calcifer still in charge of the place, much to his dismay.
  • Their arrival has made several of the deities from the same studio that brought them back to life cheer as one of their own joined in. Sophie was at first overwhelmed at this but Howl calmed her down and was the one who was creating the cheering. On the otherside the House of Magic have mixed reactions with Howl, stating that he should have taken his responsibilities rather than hauling himself as much as possible, annoying him further but Sophie agrees with their statement.
    • Whenever someone mentions their relationship, Sophie often blushes and ignores the topic, while Howl will pretty much talk smack about their progress. This is also responded with Sophie attempting to hit Howl in the back as she has not forgotten his other attempts to woo other women while he's still in love with her, reminding him of his habits.
  • The news of a wizard more eccentric than the Great and Powerful brought Oz to his curiosity as to who it was. Surprising him in everyway, Howl managed to be a wonderful one the moment they met. Being eccentric wizards also made their relationship more meaningful since both get to pride on their wizardry, though Sophie tends to see this as foolish sometimes and sees similarities with the two both prideful and great in their profession.
    • Though this did not work well the moment not one but two Wicked Witches of the West appeared to them. Thankfully one is a good sided member while the other is the original one. Howl's first reaction was to seduce either, but he instead got a slap from Thropp and was nearly zapped by the other had it not been for Sophie to stop the fighting and by accidentally revealing her secret powers as a witch herself despite being mostly human. This accidental revelation surprised both witches, especially the latter, due to her romantic connection to Howl and relations to her sisters and his compatriots.
  • More wizards took notice of Howl's skills and decided to put him to the test. Thanks to his profession of handling odd jobs, Howl's skills excelled, but Merlin, the one who handled the test felt he was a disappointment following his childish actions towards his responsibilities, something most wizards would mostly not do, especially for as old as him. He still sees him as a worthy wizard but demands him to never leave his duties behind, a reminder that he has gotten used to.
    • Meanwhile Gandalf appreciates his demeanor, though he states that his unfair price range between customers of both rich and poor to be abysmal, even with that said, he cannot deny that Howl has matched his expectations to be a decent wizard, and his stance against war, to the point of fighting the other wizards who participated in such.
    • Wizardry is something Hogwarts as a school is very known for and it would not take long till Harry Potter notified Dumbledore of his presence. Invited to a dinner session with the kids, Howl would be hired at one point to teach the kids some new tricks he himself has learned. The day after he was a substitute teacher and Harry and Dumbledore went back to Hogwarts, the kids suddenly were trying out different disguises, some even tried disguising as other teachers, with Howl impersonating Dumbledore right in front of him. This made him amused, but not impressed following him not being able to discipline the students very well.
    • In secret, he slowly envies Khadgar for several reasons. One is his knowledge of both magic and history, then again, the difference between a mage and a wizard is huge from a knowledge standpoint. Then comes the magic, which is something Khadgar has grown advanced of compared to his own. He has been inscribing teaching lessons from him, hopefully learning more at his own behalf. For Sophie, her similarity goes with their age, as they have also suffered a curse with their age, though on her case, she has learned to control it but prefers being her old self, which made the archmage laugh, only to receive a kick to the leg courtesy of Sophie.
Sophie: Learn some manners! You're old too you know.
  • Womanizing is something the wizard himself has admitted to doing, so much that in Ingary, he was known for eating women's hearts all because he has been flirting to almost every woman he could find, and eventually angry relatives of said women would confront him for his negligence. While he may have stopped for a long time following his newfound relationship with Sophie, she has caught him multiple times attempting to do so once again and ended up romancing another woman, till he was forced to cut ties with her. She has been vigilant but thanks to his freedom in the Pantheon, this will be a challenge.
    • This placed him under a mutual understanding with both Jiraya and Issei Hyodo, both of whom are also womanizers with heart. While Jiraya has long quitted such following him growing old, he still does it on a certain basis, however Howl says he lacks class while doing so. As for Issei, let's just say he was never fond of the idea of a harem in the first place, something both him and Sophie will agree on. On the topic of womanizers, Barney Stinson also came in and made a rather, big conversation with the wizard. Stage magic and somewhat fond allies is one thing, but comedic sociopathy, a confusing alignment and his tendency for bringing villains to a good spotlight only hinders their understandings.
    • This cannot be said however for Embryo, who is pretty much not only an absolute narcissist, but a person who's pretty much has a lack of morals when it comes to women. Some say that he and Embryo could be opposites as well, as they have class, but one of the few things that keep both off is the harem aspect, something Howl has no interest on, but to be compared to him for being classy, that is something he greatly takes offense on.
  • Sophie Hatter was responsible for a hat shop, said shop would reduce her life to a dull type and basically left her to working by herself to the point that she got used to it. Had not Howl dragged her to his situation and got cursed by the Witch of the Waste, she would have been living through that till death, but said adventure changed her heart and made her a much more developed person as well as a few revelations including that war her country is in and her sudden powers as a witch which she never knew in the first place.
  • Being cursed is one thing but cursed to something else is another story. That was her discussion during her first meeting with the duo Tiana and Naveen who sees some similarities between the two and herself as they have been both cursed with certain transformations. It also helps both fell in love to the person that dragged them to it in the first place, something both Tiana and Sophie never get tired from. That brought light to the person who cursed them with said curse, the nefarious Dr. Facilier who she has noted to be worse than the Witch of the Wastes in every way, even his looks scream "evil doctor" in many ways.
    • Eveline took notice of Sophie's curse and seeing her controllable age made her rage, as her actual mind as a 3 year old made her jealous she has the ability to control her looks and her age. This anger is reflected by her tampering the castle and while Howl did intervene, her mind-control powers forced both of them to flee. She may have proven herself to be a threat to the Castle, and considering the family Howl has made with his apprentice and Calcifer, this only made her anger worse.
  • When she heard there were also artificial methods of de-aging and rapid-aging, she would approach said topic with hesitation as she has gotten used to her condition as she would not believe it, but a group of children would prove her that such thing would exist. Father's own compatriot Grandfather was the one pointed out and said children would be Sector V, as kids who also went through rapid aging thanks to said Grandfather. She would pity said children and has commented some of them were sweet, especially Numbuh 3.
    • Meanwhile, more news of the topic came and also pointed out other magical spells related to such. One of which was consuming souls to regain their age. Said practitioner, Shang Tsung terrified her and has since avoided his presence. The fact that he can also shapeshift to other people and at one point even shapshifted as one of her sisters has made her paranoid of him.
  • She may be human but Hagatha the Witch knows more from Sophie especially her secret powers as a witch. This revelation has not only interested Hagatha, but is willing to bring her to her own side if means earning an army of evil witches to aid her. She is disgusted by this, claiming Hagatha to be worse than the Wicked Witch of the West or even the Witch of the Waste combined, and this news only scared Howl further considering that there are worse people than the witch who has been looking for him.
    • As if bad witches weren't enough, The Hag decided it would be a good idea to gift her some of her "delicacies" from the Weald, only to be shooed out of their Castle as she is disgusted by her habits and her horrid creations. If anything is to go by, she might be one of the more terrifying witches she has faced, and perhaps the most bizarre of them all.
    • And that wasn't all, as a visit from a walking hut with chicken legs came in to light and the said deity would harass the two and especially Howl's apprentice Michael. When she heard that it was the actual Baba Yaga that visited them, she screamed in terror that the notorious witch would visit them. When she arrived once again, Sophie decided to make her stance clear against her by banishing her back to her forest homeland exposing her witch powers once again. This only aggravated the Baba Yaga and has promised to take their apprentice for her special meal.
  • While witches aren't the only problem, witch hunters are on another level, especially when Macbeth heard of her secret powers as a witch. Said news has brought with him a mob with Lady Macbeth watching from the distance of her husband carrying the deed. Thankfully Howl brought both her and the Castle away from the duo and should the mob ever arrive, they can always find another spot to occupy.
  • Their Castle isn't the only case of a moving building as some have managed to accomplish this feat earlier than them. Carl Fredrickson managed to bring his house to South America with just balloons, something that Sophie admires especially when he finally moved on from Ellie's death, something that she reminds Howl to always move on from things. The aformentioned walking hut from the Baba Yaga also counts but she would rather not talk about that incident again.
    • Sadly not all accomplishes are of a happy note, one house was also alive, albeit in a broken way. When the two ascended, several people told them of the Monster House that was not only alive like Howl's Castle but also has its own soul, being that of a tormented one. The only thing the two can express is sorry and pity, as the owner of the house should have deserved better, not in the way it is in.
  • Following the truth of their movie being an adaptation of the books, many deities have been wondering which continuinty the two follow. Much thinking later and the Court of the Gods, alongside the duo have made it clear both have merged their memories together from both the novels and the animated film itself. Hence the Castle being restored despite it being destroyed and Sophie's hidden powers being among the chief additions.
  • Sophie: "A heart's a heavy burden."
  • Howl: "I've had enough of running away, Sophie. And now I've got something I want to protect. It's you."

How would I expand on the House of Friendship?

Ernesto de la Cruz, The Dishonored Dead God

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ernesto_3.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His white flashy outfit, his (now defiled) mausoleum
  • Theme Song: Remember Me (Ernesto de la Cruz)
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Fraudulent Celebrity, Former Friend of Héctor, Glory Hound, Selfish, Uncreative, Boasting Craven, Plagiarist, Chick Magnet, Loved by millions in life and death until his crimes revealed, condemned in both life and death for his crimes
  • Domains: Undead, Plagiarism, Defiled
  • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies.
  • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals.
  • Enemies: Héctor, Manolo Sanchez, Yusuke Kitagawa, The Riddler
  • Ernesto de la Cruz, born in 1896, was a famed musician beloved by millions of people with his hit song, Remember Me. Or... at least, that's what people thought. In reality, de la Cruz was a mediocre musician himself who milked out his fame from stealing and murdering his partner and friend, Héctor. For over 70 years, he was beloved in the afterlife until an adventure of Héctor's great-great grandson, Miguel, exposed the truth of what happened to him and people in both the living and the dead world turned against him. His mausoleum is defiled and in disrepair within a year, with a mocking "Forget You" hanging on the mausoleum.
  • Ernesto wakes himself in his own mausoleum (now decrepit due to nobody wanting to maintain a tomb of a murderer) and find himself in the Pantheon. He sees it as a moment for him to restore his reputation in the Pantheon, though that's easier said than done since people are aware of his crimes.
  • A pariah in the eyes of the House of Music for both stealing the works and murdering the more accomplished musician, Héctor. No matter how much "Remember Me" is played, the House refuse to let him in for his fraudulent act.
  • He is despised by the House of Friendship, who view his betrayal of his best friend as unforgivable.
  • Manalo Sanchez doesn't like Ernesto for giving musician a bad name by stealing Hector's songs but also stealing something that belongs to a dear friend, of which Manalo cannot excuse bad behavior. Ernesto himself views him as some goody two-shoes who shouldn't butt into the business of others.
  • He started to grow a fear of bells, since they have been a bane of his life and death as they keep falling on top of him.
  • As his crime became known throughout the Pantheon, even the most respectful to the dead are disgusted by his fraudulent acts that he carry to the grave as well as murdering a man that was nearly forgotten.
  • His presence cut too deeply for the normally calm Yusuke Kitagawa, once even denouncing him as a disgrace to art (if we could count music as art). Perhaps his action was no different than Madarame, who stole the work of his students and even letting Yusuke's mother die so that he could steal her work.
  • The Riddler show little amity toward the dead musician, perhaps because back when he had a normal life as Edward Nigma, he was a computer software designer who created a smash game called "The Riddle of the Minotaur," but was fired when his boss, Daniel Mockridge, denied him royalty and stole credit. He would have killed him had Batman not intervened, but his former boss lives in fear of his return. Ernesto stealing credit remind him too much of his own life and he consider scheming to make Ernesto's life miserable.
