Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Alright, done with the second draft of Khazrak and Gorthor. Additionally, I'm putting in some progress with Archaeon, whom I've nominated for The Paragon Always Rebels and Child by Rape. Depending on circumstances, I can either use both, or I'll stick with just one.

From top to bottom; Khazrak and Gorthor.
  • House of Villains (Villainous Archetypes)
  • Intermediate Gods
  • Symbol: The Horned Head of a Gor (A type of Beastman)
  • Theme: Chaos Undivided
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Beastmen, Chaos-Tainted Race, Volcanic Raging Berserkers, Not Above Violation as a means of Reproduction, Indulging on Bestiality, Grotesque Anatomy, Will feast on humans (And eating Infants is a Delicacy), Normally make homes in Forests, Might Makes Right, Raiding Civilizations out of Hatred on Men, Screaming Warrior
  • Domains: Beast, Evil, Rage, Bestiality
  • Heralds: The rest of the Most Heinous Beastmen from the Warherds
  • Worships: The Chaos Gods
  • Allies: Melkor, Griffith, Nosferatu Zodd, Gul'dan, Diablo, Molag Bal, Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Every Evil-Aligned Human-Looking Deity in the Pantheon
  • Enemies: Guts, Saria, The Monster Hunters, Xion, Madoka Kaname, Viral, Valvatorez, Killia, Zamasu, Seigfried, Nightwolf, Rexxar, Eliza Thornberry, Rexie, The Gang of Seven, Thrall, Skarsnik, Shrek, Marona, Dante, Link, Yoshi, Lord Kroak, Thorgrim Grudgebearer, Karl Franz, The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bowser, Atrocitus
  • Opposes: Nagash the Undying, Any Non-Beastly Being in the Pantheon
  • Opposed By: The Houses of Family, Love and Beast, Most of the House of Nature, Lucifer, The Nippon Ichi Demons, All Rape Victims in the Pantheon, Furry Haters
  • The Beastmen. One of the most chaotic, untamed and disgusting races in the World of Warhammer. The Beastmen are a race, who's essence is enveloped by Chaos, resulting in the birthing of those horribly mutated with traits of Man and Beast. From the day they were born, they carried a special hatred towards Mankind, wishing to bring it down and anything associated with it. these hybrids take heed in deep forests and would often scuffle with one another for food and territory. But should they learn of the presence of a man, Beastmen will not hesitate in forming a coalition, for their hatred is powerful enough to unite a massive army of bloodthirsty mutants ready to massacre, violate and terrify any that stand in their way.
  • Of Beastmen history, they seem to be disregarded in comparison to the other factions on the Forces of Chaos. However, two in particular stood out; Khazrak the One Eye for having tactical approach and displaying a sense of honor and respect never seen in Beastmen and Gorthor the Beastlord, who's fear and depravity would come to define the Beastmen and be held in a similar regard as Archaeon the Everchosen.
  • Though they died a thousand years apart from one another, Khazrak and Gorthor ascended at the same time, immediately followed by the two encountering one another. Khazrak, himself a famous figure in his lifetime introduced himself and told Gorthor about the accomplishments he had. The latter simply retorted by stating that Khazrak still has more to prove himself, though he does seem impressed by the former. The two have since become rivals, with Khazrak and Gorthor often competing against each other for territory, though they will form an uneasy alliance should the need arise.
  • Suffice to say, they have not had a popular audience. Their tribal and warmongering nature resulted in them gaining a number of enemies in the Pantheon. While both are willing to find and kill as many humans (or anything similar) they set their sights on, the two have differing mindsets regarding their opponents. Khazrak likes noteworthy foes to fight against and would plot a strategy to score a victory. Gorthor is also smart for a Beastman, but would instead charge straightforward, killing and raping as many victims as possible. Hence, Gorthor winds up attracting more attention and hatred than Khazrak would, though the latter tends to think its a positive for now.
  • Khazrak has become one of the most interesting beasts in the Pantheon for being part of an inherently evil race, yet displays traits such as honor, patience, cunning and long-term planning, something which is hardly seen in Beastmen. He also likes to fight foes he deems a challenge, stating its fun. Its the reason why he spared his Arch-Enemy, Boris Todbringer in their first battle. Furthermore, his left eye was maimed by Boris, and while that would normally mean he would be shunned for a disability, Khazrak still managed to maintain his hold and leadership. Hence, he formed a close kinship with Nosferatu Zodd, the two of them exchanging blows and having alliances time and again.
  • Gorthor is accounted in history as the most legendary, greatest Beastmen who ever lived. In his lifetime, he amassed a Beastmen army so large, he was able to decimate the provinces of Hochland and Ostland and was personally chosen by the Chaos Gods to be of Undivided. However, Gorthor would establish his legacy in a fashion that would overshadow every other Beastmen's actions. Beastmen Shamans were considered sacred for the race's traditions. Gorthor took the extra mile and committed a sin that even Beastmen would find unforgivable; killing and flaying Beastmen Shamans for their hide, with which to fashion into a hypnotic cloak to hypnotize Beastmen to his service. He also had an unusual drive in his goal of wiping out Mankind, and declared himself to be a chosen being by the Chaos Gods, being gifted a blade, simply known as The Impaler, which was enhanced by magic. Disregarding and killing anyone not under his services, massacring millions whether allied, wanting an alliance or opponents and establishing a nightmarish legacy, Gorthor became a truly depraved, bloodthirsty and sadistic being, one that surpassed ALL Beastmen in that regard.
  • The Beastmen found themselves working with new allies upon entering the Pantheon. Melkor has decided to allow the Beastmen to join his ranks in the Grand United Allianceof Evil. Khazrak is more than happy to join, although Gorthor is more willing to serve the Chaos Gods. That said, he will obey Melkor, for as long as the God of Evil provides him with new lands to plunder and hoard over. The Beastmen also found service under Griffith, who sees the Beastmen as similar to Apostles in some ways. Gul'dan has become rather accustomed with the two leading Beastmen in regards to providing magical artillery whereas Diablo and Molag Bal have expressed praise and need for the Beastmen's actions. Diablo sees Gorthor as a valuable asset in inspiring fear whereas Molag Bal sees the Beastmen in general as masters of plundering, sexual violation and superhuman hatred on civilization. The alliance with Melkor, Griffith, Gul'dan, Diablo and Molag Bal has the polarizing result of also working with evil-aligned humans. The Beastmen aren't really pleased to be working with humans, though with some convincing from Khazrak and Gorthor, there is an uneasy alliance for now.
  • Khazrak and Gorthor were rather keen about Cheetah, given she was the Pantheon's representing Beastess and was a vicious one to boot. Cheetah sees the Beastmen as worthy allies in regards to action. She wants treasure, the Beastmen want battle, so their goals don't intertwine with each other's problems, though Barbara would not hesitate to lend a helping hand.
  • The Beastmen are not keen on the prospect and threat of Nagash. Given Nagash is opposed to the Chaos Gods, which Beastmen highly worship, its no surprise Gorthor and Khazrak are ready to wage war against him. Nagash seeks to turn the two leading Beastmen into Undead, thinking they would be great soldiers in his rule. Lucifer has also come to despise the Beastmen, though its mainly due to the fact that Lucifer holds a special degree of respect on humankind, the very kind which Beastmen are hellbent on destroying.
  • With Boris and Mikael being nowhere in the Pantheon, the Beastmen have decided to settle in on making more enemies for themselves. From their homeworld, they were opposed by Lord Kroak, Thorgrim Grudgebearer and Karl Franz who recognize the threat of the Chaos-infested species given their own experiences. The Beastmen also found a new threat in the God-Emperor of Mankind, who believes that the only way to deal with the Beastmen is to simply render it extinct, believing it is the only way to free them from Chaos's services.
  • They are PERMANENTLY BANNED from the Houses of Family, Love and Beast. It doesn't help with Beastmen constantly indulging in violating others in an effort to reproduce given the shortage of female Beastmen. To make matters worse, Beastmen will also target any animal, regardless of size and posture. Khazrak and Gorthor's presence outright terrified The Gang of Seven and tried to "mate" with Rexie, earning her enmity as well when the Tyrannosaur fought back ruthlessly with backup from Grimlock.
    • Unsurprisingly, the House of Nature aren't fond of the Beastmen either, with most of the residents doing their best to not let any Beastmen in their House, especially Gorthor. Then again, they are animistic abominations influenced by Chaos. That said, there are evil beings in the House of Nature who don't mind the Beastmen, a few even taking the time to admire their headstrong and vicious nature.
  • Xion defended the House of Canines during a Beastmen invasion under Gorthor's orders. The whole experience terrified Xion, but also made her unnaturally angry for someone like her, given Xion's love for dogs. Gorthor has since began to treat Xion as an Arch-Enemy like he did with Mikael Ludendorf of Hochland. And unlike Khazrak who can manage respecting his foes, Gorthor despises Xion for interrupting his invasion and for the mere fact that she looks human, resulting in him clashing against her whenever he gets the chance.
  • The Beastmen have also invaded Kokiri homelands, prompting Saria to call upon aid from Link. The Hero of Hyrule would ultimately battle Khazrak and Gorthor whilst also defending the Kokiri tribe and their forest homes overtime. Saria has since made sure to use all of her power to call support and defend her race since the Beastmen invasion, fearing their ferocity and hatred for anything that resembles humans.
  • While their unbridled rage makes them a suitable candidate for a Red Lantern, Atrocitus has made it clear that he has no intention to present any Beastmen the rings. He makes a special example on Gorthor, given how out of morality he is, even compared to the other Beastmen. Khazrak however doesn't mind being denied a Red Lantern, only looking ahead for a good challenge. Atrocitus battles the Beastmen time and again, in an effort to stop them from destroying his Corps as well.
  • Nightwolf hasn't taken the news of Beastmen very well, considering their traditions of having shamans creeps him out. And even then, he himself is horrified by how Gorthor treated Beastmen shamans. Similarly, Marona feels as if the Beastmen are too chaotic for her own good. She has been able to possess several Beastmen, but the strong wills of Khazrak and Gorthor proved too much for her.
  • A "different Beastman", Viral took notice of the Chaos-affiliated Beastmen and was horrified and disgusted by their innate nature and disregard of general morality. He's made it clear to distance the Beastman from any innocent Pantheon members as much as he could and is not above killing them if it means safety.
  • Gorthor and Khazrak's biggest enemy in the Pantheon came in the form of Guts, whom saw them as too similar to the Apostles that he constantly faces off himself. Khazrak personally sees Guts as a Worthy Opponent, similar to Boris Todbringer, although Gorthor simply sees him as another threat, instead putting more of his enmity on Xion. Guts also found their drive for bestiality to be rage-inducing and an unfortunate reminder, which he does best to conceal. If anything, this reminder makes Guts hate the Beastmen more than most Apostles.
  • Among other enemies, Thrall and Rexxar have made it clear that the Beastmen are beyond any chances of negotiation and must be taken on lethally. Eliza Thornberry had one such experience encountering Khazrak, with the latter commanding his forces to kill her on the spot. A timely intervention from Dante saved Eliza, who's since done her best to provide therapy for any animal that were traumatized by the Beastmen. Yoshi and Seigfried have also dealt with Gorthor, the former simply trying to defend his homeland, whereas the latter felt that the Beastmen acted like those who became Malfested and took arms to defend the helpless. Shrek and Skarsnik outright want nothing to do with Gorthor and Khazrak, given their bloodthirsty and perverse nature and always search for help whenever a Beastmen invasion starts showing signs.
  • Madoka Kaname hasn't really taken the news of Beastmen very well. Further worrying was the the race's instincts and loyalty bound down to evil, which Madoka felt was a rather tragic situation as in her opinion, Beastmen are destined to be damned. Despite this, the actions of Gorthor disgust her, given his actions even towards other Beastmen.
  • With Khazrak and Gorthor's invasion on the House of Beast, The Monster Hunters immediately caught news and dispatched to confront the situation. What wound up happening was a great battle between hunters and beastmen as the latter gained an advantage with their massive numbers and ferocity, until fellow Beastmen opponents like Guts, Dante and Link joined in for the former's support. Gorthor and Khazrak did ravage much of the house in ruins before they retreated, vowing for another invasion.
  • The Demons of Nippon Ichi are outright appalled and terrified of the Beastmen, especially given their warmongering nature and unstoppable drive of rape as a means of reproduction. Valvatorez and Killia have it the worst on them; the former sees the race, especially Gorthor, as the absolute worst kind of warmongers whereas the latter sees their Might Makes Right mindset to be chaotic and destructive, all of which the Beastmen embody.
  • For all his villainy, Bowser has nothing but apathy and disregard towards the Beastmen. Khazrak didn't really care, though Gorthor took it as a personal insult. He tried to pull off an alliance with Bowser, only for the latter to rebuke, stating he was once asked by Goblins for an alliance, yet Gorthor not only disregarded it, but had many of the Goblins killed anyway. Gorthor hasn't made a comment about this... yet.
  • Zamasu, still waddling into his disregard for mortals, decided to highlight the Beastmen as examples of mortals being flawed and immoral, despite the Beastmen being aspects created by the Chaos Gods. Gorthor and Khazrak, in turn, see Zamasu as an enemy, plain and simple. Zamasu decided to try killing off as many Beastmen as he could, thinking he could be justified for killing members of a race everyone knows is evil. Instead, Zamasu received further disapproval from most Pantheon residents as usual and earned himself ire from Gorthor and Khazrak.
  • Khazrak has since become one of the most battle-hungry beings in the Pantheon, even by Beastmen standards. He's become a rather notable visitor in the Houses of Combat and War where he will often try to find strong opponents to fight against, even expressing an interest in tournaments hosted by Shao Kahn and Cell.
  • It didn't take long, but it was inevitable; Gorthor became one of the most loathed and shunned figures in the entire Pantheon, thanks to his overblown nature of killing, raping, invading and terrible treatment towards his own fellow Beastmen. His reputation as the most deranged, psychotic and warmongering Beastmen in history even caused a good amount of evil-aligned beings to wince and cringe at Gorthor's actions. Indeed, many Beastmen aren't too fond of Gorthor, instead preferring to work for Khazrak instead. However, Gorthor doesn't care, and relishes on his carnage. And if he can't get minions with words and actions, his hypnotic cloak will do the work for him.
  • Somehow, the Beastmen have gained a negative reception from a group of people who hate what they perceive "Furry Culture". While yes, the Beastmen are Anthropomorphic Animals, they preceded the Furry Fandom by years, in addition to being physically unappealing and not having any negative representations of the Furry Culture anyway. Hence, the Beastmen just takes the Furry Culture comparison as murderous annoyance.

Another Speedwagon draft. Anything more that can be added and fixed for him? Otherwise, does he look good to go?

Robert E.O. Speedwagon, God of Team Benefactors

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/speedwagona_6.png
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Speedwagon Foundation emblem
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Nice Guy, Rags to Riches, Scars Are Forever, Mr. Exposition, Nice Hat, Sharp-Dressed Man, Non-Action Guy
  • Domains: Benefactors, Benevolence
  • Allies: Jonathan Joestar, William A. Zeppeli, Joseph Joestar, Caesar A. Zeppeli, Erina Joestar, Lisa Lisa, Jotaro Kujo, Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne, Scrooge McDuck, Meteora Österreich
  • Enemies: Dio Brando, Kars, Eisidisi, Wamuu, Flintheart Glomgold, evil-aligned rich deities
  • On Generally Good Terms with: Birdie, Hikage, Omar Little
  • Formerly a thug from Ogre Street, Robert E.O. Speedwagon has become an important ally not just for Jonathan Joestar, but for all of the subsequent Jojos after him (albeit indirectly following Joseph's adventures). Following Jonathan's adventures, Speedwagon moved to the United States and became a successful oil tycoon in Texas. As one would guess, he is also the founder of The Speedwagon Foundation, an organization that has helped out the Jojos in their adventures. Despite not being capable of serious combat in the face of enemies that include zombies and vampires, Speedwagon and his organization has always been of help to the Jojos and their allies.
  • Speedwagon wasn't sure what was going on when he found himself in a place that he didn't recognize. He spent a bit of time searching to see if there was anyone that could tell him what was going on and why we was where he's at. He ended up encountering Joseph Joestar again, but Speedwagon was surprised to see Joseph as an old man. Regardless, Josepeh was able to recognize Speedwagon quickly and proceeded to tell him about the Pantheon and what the JoJos after Joseph have been up to following Joseph's battles against the Pillar Men. Speedwagon was even more surprised to hear that his friends and foes from back then are still around in the Pantheon. Since then, the Speedwagon Foundation has established itself in the Pantheon, with Speedwagon himself helping out the JoJos directly whenever he can.
  • While he has a weaponized hat at his disposal, Speedwagon tends to find himself commentating on the battles that he's witnessing. While the previous battles he's seen are certainly strange, the Pantheon is home to a variety of matchups that are much more bizarre than what Speedwagon has been used to. There's also the fact that one of the JoJos may find themselves involved in such a battle, prompting commentary that's bound to be distinct from what Speedwagon (and others that might be witnessing those potential battles) has provided.
  • He became very good friends with Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne, two other rich folk who serve as benefactors to the respective teams that they work for. Unlike Speedwagon, Tony and Bruce are more likely to get themselves personally involved in a fight against threats. Whenever the two aren't busy with fighting crime, they'll sometimes talk with Speedwagon on plans to provide additional funds for the GUAG and their allies as a means to provide additional aid for the alliance at large.
  • As someone who formerly was poor before working his way towards becoming wealthy, Speedwagon took a bit of time to find other deities who took a similar path as he did. Among those were Scrooge McDuck, who has made numerous declarations that he made his money fair and square. Although he's quite fond of money, Mr. McDuck is still a good person at heart and is quite adventurous. Speedwagon finds McDuck's desire to go on adventures alongside his friends to be something worth admiring as Speedwagon himself has had his fair share of going on adventures as the founder of a successful company.
    • This also meant that Speedwagon learned about a few other deities who went from poor-to-rich, but are nowhere near as benevolent as either Speedwagon or McDuck. Among these were McDuck's rival, Flintheart Glomgold, who became rich through a variety of questionable means and still continues to make money that way. Although Glomgold doesn't care much about what Speedwagon thinks of him, it's clear that the latter finds Glomgold to be detestable and would be even worse if Glomgold used that unearned money as a means to cause misery towards others. That particular reason is also why Speedwagon has nothing good to say about corrupt rich deities in a more general sense.
  • Being a former street thug, it became clear that Speedwagon would encounter a number of deities that were in a position that he was in before he became rich. Whereas Speedwagon reformed after meeting Jonathan and became who he is since then, some of those street thugs remained who they are, with Speedwagon worrying that some could be even worse than who he was before his encounter with Jonathan. He ended up encountering a couple of such thugs, mainly Birdie and Hikage (the former being a London thug). He learned that both had their better sides brought out as a result of them being around certain people, much like how Speedwagon became nicer as a result of Jonathan. Birdie and Hikage still have their respective issues, though Speedwagon hasn't noticed anything substantially bad about them.
    • Omar Little was a criminal whom Speedwagon wasn't sure what to make of at first. Although Omar never left his life of crime, he has a high code of honor, cares a lot about his close friends, and has primarily targeted people that are considered worse than he is. Speedwagon did attempt to talk to Omar claiming that his actions are admirable and that there's a better life beyond being a criminal, though Omar turned down the offer saying that it's more of a necessity to target those that deserve it. Despite some concerns, Speedwagon was able to understand him and both parted on amicable terms.
  • Speedwagon was a bit surprised to find another deity who had a frequent role in explaining to others what was going on and what they're dealing with. That ended up being Meteora Österreich, a girl who came from a JRPG that carried over her role of explaining things to people over to the real world when she got summoned there. Speedwagon got to know her better via an extended conversation where they talked about what had happened in their respective adventures and how Meteora was able to plan things ahead very well despite extremely limited combat skills. Meteora got to understand his Foundation very well and sometimes aids the organization in their assignments so the heroes can be better prepared against future threats.
  • There has been a tendency by others to declare that "Even Speedwagon is afraid" whenever Speedwagon is afraid of some sort of threat he's facing. While a number of other deities are likely to be afraid of some particular trouble, people tend to use this "Even [x] is afraid" phrase on Speedwagon most of the time. Adding a bit onto this is that Speedwagon will tend to state the obvious in some of his commentary of battles between the JoJos and other enemies that they're up against.

[up][up][up][up] The Speedwagon Foundation specializes on Medical Research, but also focuses on Environmental Conservation and Supernatural Research.

For that matter, Speedwagon can be close affiliates with members who have experience with any of the three as mentioned above. Medical Conditions and Diseases are some examples where Speedwagon can find potential allies and friends.

Also, maybe its just me, but with that, Speedwagon and Dr. Gregory House might have an... interesting relationship.

  • Lesser Goddess (possesses fighting powers on par with an Intermediate Goddess if growing serious or pushed far enough)
  • Symbol: Her sword, Edenfeld, and her buckler, placed on top of her breastplate
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (can occasionally fall into True Neutral territory if suffering from too much dismay)
  • Portfolio: Series Mascot, Badass Normal, Losing her mother when she was young, Coming from a... not-exactly-healthy royal family, Which used to rule the land, Cutting off her hair to make Braids of Action, Ran away from her family, To travel around the continent and prove herself, Heroic Self-Deprecation, Owning a nice blade, which used to belong to her mother, Having the aforementioned sword trashed then having a more powerful one later made for her, Being strong without relying on special powers, Receives unwanted attentions from many fellow female warriors, including her younger sister
  • Domains: Combat, Adventure, Tournaments, Swords, Family, Nobility
  • Allies: Noel Vermillion, Mai Shiranui, Kasumi, Artoria Pendragon, Merida, Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Ryu, Kenshiro, Jonathan Joestar, Mami Tomoe, Pegasus Seiya, Shinji Ikari, Setsuna F. Seiei
  • Enemies: Geese Howard, Dio Brando, All Evil-aligned deities in the House of Leadership, Combat and Royalty
  • Followers: Kaede
  • Leina is the middle daughter of the Vance family and heiress to the Count's throne. Her family used to rule their world, but the gods personally toppled them, reducing them to "only" average nobility, and decreed that the world was never to have a hereditary monarchy ever again, which resulted in the creation of the Queen's Blade tournament. Disliking her life as a princess, she ran away from home to follow in her mother's footsteps as a warrior, traveling the world and hoping to become a stronger warrior by entering the Queen's Blade Tournament. Ultimately, she won the Queen's Blade tournament, but decided on forfeiting the title to Claudette.
  • Following her ascension, Leina was glad to meet many fellow female warriors from worlds previously unknown to her. She was quite amazed by Noel's use of guns, as such technology did not exist in her world, and the two quickly became friends, although Noel tends to be rather insecure about her figure when comparing herself to Leina. She's also friends with fellow series mascots Mai Shiranui and Kasumi. She enjoys sparring with those warriors in her free time, and has earned the praises from many of them.
    • Among those warriors, there was a single blonde one who took Leina by surprise, as she sounds just like her, only with a more regal undertone. It turned out that this blonde warrior was no other than Artoria, aka Saber, who had Leina bowing in respect when she learned about Artoria being not just the female incarnation of a famous king from her universe, but also a superior swordswoman. The two quickly developed a bond that is halfway between sisterly and master-disciple.
  • Leina managed to quickly get along with Merida, as neither of them wanted to stay as royalty and instead wanted to become warriors. Though Merida learned to accept her responsibilities while still wanting to have her warrior ways and became a better person because of it. On the other hand, Leina does not desire to ever resume being a princess again, having instead Shed the Family Name and chosen to travel the world.
  • Leina quickly managed to befriend Rock Howard, as she shared a lot of similarities with him, although he tends to be rather shy around her due to having grown up surrounded mainly by men. The two bonded over how they're both emotional blondes, lost their mothers at a young age (as well as their mother's names being very similar), lived between people of the same sex and had jerks for fathers, not to mention they both ended up really screwed up at the end of their respective stories. When they learned of an alternate reality in which they were in a relationship, they were both surprised and a little flustered, but nonetheless have remained on good terms. Through her friendship with Rock, she also became friends with his adoptive father Terry Bogard, who was quite impressed by her skills and the two have since then occasionally sparred together. However, Leina has also become enemies with Rock's father, Geese Howard, after learning about how the man not only abandoned his son and his wife Marie, but also turned down Rock's pleas to save his mom the very night that she died.
  • Leina has also managed to befriend several male warriors, including Ryu, Kenshiro, Jonathan Joestar and Pegasus Seiya. All of them were surprised by how, after training with them, she managed to successfully imitate their moves. Upon learning of Dio, Leina quickly developed a dislike of him and promised to help Jonathan in his fights against him if he ever needed her help.
  • During a random trip around the Pantheon in her free time, Leina almost froze in terror when she thought she heard the voice of her ever-clingy sister who harboured rather unhealthy romantic feelings towards her, only to find out that the voice belonged to a teenage girl called Mami Tomoe. What surprised Leina even more was that the girl had a surname which sounds just like the given name of one of her best friends. Having cleared out the misunderstanding, the two females became good friends and often compete: guns vs swords, ringlets vs braids, and magic vs direct combat.
  • Leina is on friendly terms with Shinji Ikari, whom she sympathised with due to having similarly almost lost her sanity after being humiliated and tortured by Werbellia's henchmen. She was, however, a bit unsettled to learn of an alternate reality in which the two entered a relationship in which she ultimately became the Top Wife in his Battle Harem. The main reason for her being uneasy about it was because of Shinji being 14. As such, she made it clear to everyone that she preferred for their relationship to stay platonic.
  • When she learned of an alternate reality in which she was the Gundam Exia, Leina sought ought Exia's pilot, Setsuna F. Seiei, in order to see what he was like. The two managed to get along and Leina strongly respects Setsuna for his desire to end all conflict and warfare.
