Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Well seeing as the theme songs will be less frequent as usual, may I ask, does Steve Irwin still fit Fluffy Tamer? After all, he was exceptionally good with animals, both calm and dangerous, and made a name for himself wrestling crocodiles.

Instead of a profile this time, I'll be asking a slew questions on behalf of characters I plan to ascend soon.

Or not. Here's Verres again.

Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres, God of Rationalist Fiction (General Chaos, Harryzer, Tom Riddle, Good Voldemort)

  • [tups]: 1 (The Wikia Editor)
  • Ascending on:
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Emblem of the Chaos Legion (a hand poised to snap its fingers)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Awesomeness by Analysis, Badass Bookworm, Child Prodigy, compelled to be a hero no matter what, Efficient Unpredictability, Encyclopedic Knowledge, does what he does for Humanity and Truth (via Science), Genre Savvy (inc. the wrong kind), goals of a Guile Hero and tactics of a Magnificent Bastard, explaining cognitive bias by demonstrating it, seeks immortality for everyone, Insufferable Genius, Knight in Sour Armor, Large Ham, Master of the Mixed Message, Nerd-Cultured Badass, Sore Loser, wishes to introduce tech to the wizarding world and magic to muggles, Home-Schooled Brat, Too Clever by Half
  • Domain(s): Rationality, Science, Magic, Chaos
  • High Priestesses: Luminosity!Bella and her daughter Elspeth
  • Followers: His army, the Chaos Legion
  • Allies: the canon Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom (one-sided on Harry's part), Minerva McGonagall, Fred and George Weasley, Alastor Moody, Spock, anyone who values rationality
  • Enemies: Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, Fenrir Greyback, Dolores Umbridge, the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, Amon, Tirek, Alex Wesker, all Hope Crushers
  • Other Relationships: Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape
  • Feared by: the Dementors (seriously)
  • Opposes: Cornelius Fudge, any leaders who don't at all think rationally, all Gods of Death
  • Opposed by: the Dursleys, the Dahaka, Lady Amalthea, all non-evil-aligned Equestrian deities, Xerneas
  • So who exactly is this Harry Potter and how is he different from the canon one? Well, among other things, when he came under the care of his Aunt Petunia, instead of the abusive Vernon Dursley, she ended up with one Professor Michael Verres, an Oxford scientist and not at all (at least intentionally, though he tries not to) abusive. As such, growing up to be a firm Rationalist, he would eventually enter the wizarding world armed with Enlightenment ideals and the experimental spirit. Oh, and he eventually defeats his world's Voldemort before the end of his first year.
  • Finding a candidate for Rational Fic had been a daunting task, mainly because the best candidates were from fanfics, and several of them already have canon counterparts in the Pantheon. And then someone in the Court of the Gods found an ideal pick, and his case was argued with the fact that as a fanfic trope, only a Fanfic character can properly hold it, and he is the most well-known representative of it.
    • And thus, this Harry Potter was invited into the Pantheon. And due to his very rational mindset, to get most of the questions (and answer-searching) over with, he was immediately explained everything about the Trope Pantheons, how things there don't fully operate on rational thought, that the world operates in a narrative sense (he is to consult with Stephen and Morgana about Observation and Cognition as soon as his temple was set up), that significant change won't come easy, and other caveats that make it so that he doesn't have to worry about leaving his world behind while he's here.
  • His run-in with his canon counterpart had been... complicated, and he's been warned not to react too negatively about any irrational decisions they made throughout their lives.
    • Rational Harry's meeting with Canon Harry actually went well enough. He's aware of one key difference (among plenty others) that set the two apart; their upbringing and whom their Aunt Petunia had married. A life of abuse brought about low self-esteem and humility, whereas a life of scientific upbringing (and all the books to provide for it) brought about intelligence... and a "mild" case of superiority. Despite that, Rational Harry is still very much a hero, possibly to a greater extent than Canon Harry in terms of dedication to helping others.
      • In the end, Rational Harry decided to regard Canon Harry as someone he could've been had things went differently, but isn't ultimately that much lesser for it.
      • To better tell apart the two Harry Potters, remember that the Canon one is in/past his Seventh Year, while Rational Harry is in his First, and occasionally in his House Ravenclaw robes.
    • Regarding Canon Hermione, he's had to remind himself that this isn't the one he knows from his world. The lack of (miniscule) troll and unicorn traits should be enough of a difference, not to mention being older. Still, Canon Hermione was shocked that in his world, the mountain troll ate her counterpart's legs and she bled to death, and that Rational Harry took great lengths to bring her back to life.
    • Has nothing to say to Canon Ron, given they never became friends in his timeline. The only thing that bothers him is the fact that it's he who marries Canon Hermione, and he has trouble comprehending what she saw in him.
    • On the other hand, he has a better friendship with Canon Fred and George and often visits them for supplies, and possibly some help in pulling pranks (some epic enough that they Obliviate themselves to keep the details secret should they get caught). Also, in his timeline, in lieu of Harry, they become the Heirs of Gryffindor instead. The twins were amazed that that was even possible.
    • Regarding Canon Draco, he's annoyed with the Slytherin's former bratty behavior, and he also feels awkward given he'd killed his father Lucius (and all the other Death Eaters), but at least he's trying to be better.
      • In fact, he wants to test if Canon Draco has enough happy thoughts of his parents that can render him able to summon a Patronus just like his world's Draco. Both Canon Draco and Ron think that is impossible, but Rational Harry took it as a challenge; he's done more impossible things already.
      • By extension, he tries to avoid Canon Lucius, given Rational Harry doesn't have the same political arrangement with him as the one from his world.
    • True, it took far longer, and he's not nearly as dedicated or as insanely brilliant, but he still respects Canon Neville's achievements. Neville on the other hand doesn't share the same sentiments, given that Rational Harry had been instrumental in freeing Bellatrix from Azkaban in his world, even if Quirrel/Voldemort manipulated him into it; as a "rationalist", shouldn't he have seen how much of a terrible idea it was?
    • Was initially surprised to see Canon Dumbledore, given how the one in his world ended up trapped in the Mirror of Erised. At the very least, he doesn't seem to be pretending to be sane pretending to be crazy.
    • He also has amicable relations with Canon McGonagall, though he found her a bit more stern, just like how she was when he first met her. He also decided to confide in her possible consequences for that by telling her of his world's version of the troll attack in First Year. Not enough help arrived with Harry to save Hermione from death (from bleeding out after her legs were eaten), and even after Fred and George saved the day with the Sword of Gryffindor, they fully expected to he expelled for going against the letter of her orders.
    • He's not sure what he can say to Canon James, but he treats Harry with as much love and pride that he was still a hero, attitude notwithstanding.
    • In regards to Canon Moody, given how he was subject to Informed Ability, Harry wondered what would be the best approach to gauging his abilities; alternate universe counterparts were not something he was used to yet. And then he found himself attacked in his temple by a paranoid Moody, and Harry was forced to step up his game to match. Neither are telling who won that duel, but Harry seemed to be satisfied at the end of it.
    • Naturally, upon hearing of a second Harry Potter in the Pantheon, Canon Voldemort and his Death Eaters were displeased with this and immediately made to teach him his place. Rational Harry summarily trounced them with his experience as General Chaos, and the fact that the Canon Dark Lord was nowhere near as competent as the version he had to deal with in his world made it all the easier.
    • Was left baffled that one of the theories of the implausible events between the Canon Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew was what actually happened. Naturally, given there was never a chance to meet, Rational Harry isn't nearly as close to Sirius as Canon Harry is. It doesn't help that in his world Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew are the same person. It turns out that, in there, Peter Pettigrew was a metamorphmagus instead of an animagus, and an actually guilty Sirius Black avoided being sent to Azkaban by arranging for a transformed and Confunded Peter to be arrested and imprisoned in his place.
    • Given how little they've interacted, if at all, he has no real opinion on Canon Cedric, [[ Luna Lovegood]] Hagrid, Trelawney, Slughorn, Lupin, Fenrir, or Barty Crouch Sr.
  • When word of how he dealt with his world's Voldemort spread; i.e. Brainwashing for the Greater Good, then transfigured into a jewel Harry will carry around forever, until he can safely revive and redeem him, this drew a lot of concern. To the surprise of some of the good guys, Rational Harry can understand these concerns, explained that given Voldemort's Horcruxes are mostly invisible and inaccessible (one of them was the Pioneer Plaque), forcing this alternative, making killing him more trouble than it was worth, and promises not to resort to what he did as a first/second/third/fourth/etc. option, but an absolute last. He still has to maintain the transfiguration on his adversary, at least until he secretly requisitioned a stasis chamber.
  • Has a sleep cycle of 26 hours, making regular class schedules difficult to adapt to. Thankfully, he has a Time-Turner for this, bequeathed by his world's Professor McGonagall. Unfortunately, there are entities that wouldn't be happy with his constant exploitation of it, especially the Dahaka, which forced him to tone down his use of it to just getting around his sleep disorder (and other minor stuff, and use alternative methods for more important matters instead). He speculates that Canon Harry had this issue too, but that it was long since stamped out by his abusive childhood.
  • Is always prepared for any possible occasion, most importantly situation where he has to save a life, and his mokeskin bag sees to it that he can carry it all and call for what he needs. He has no Freudian Excuse for this until the gruesome death of his world's Hermione. He'll also know if his memory was compromised; he has a system prepared specifically for that situation.
    • And if he doesn't have something, he can transfigure it. And he's so good at it that he's even learned how to do partial Transfiguration, which is so far impossible for any wizard from the Potterverse.
  • As he was born with a scientific upbringing, he readily utilizes Muggle items/"artifacts" in conjunction with what magic he's learned in Hogwarts, making him that much more unpredictable compared to other classical spellcasters.
  • Aside from annoying him with ideas that lack any form of rational basis, one thing that sets him off is the idea that his parents might've been abusive, because they're not.
  • Rational Harry leads one of the most efficient 'armies' in the Pantheon. While not one of the strongest, they are one of the few that are the least crippled when it comes to infiltrators in its ranks. This is because he employs parts of the recon pull philosophy, where his subordinates have the initiative and can choose what they think is best while he acts as the coordinator focusing on the big picture.
  • Ever since he missed his chance on getting a phoenix, he's been trying again, mainly though trying to figure out Phoenix and what it would take to earn its favor. So far, there has not been much success.
  • When he had first heard that there were Dementors in the Pantheon (and as deities, no less), Harry decided he would go on a manhunt to purge the Pantheon of their presence, calling them a wound in the world. Upon hearing they had a temple, he went straight there with clear intent to find a way to exterminate every last one of them. If only he had some way of luring every single one to a single place so he can destroy them all once and for all. Unfortunately for him, the Dementors have their own allies and that means he'll have to make sure to get rid of those gods, too.
    • And for some reason, his reputation in his world managed to precede him all the way to the Pantheon, for when he first encountered one face-to-face, it immediately hightailed it out of there, screaming in fright, and all other Dementor encounters ended up the same way. It baffled him at first since he certainly knew that Canon Harry doesn't have this reputation with them, but he eventually deduced and concluded that they somehow know of his accomplishments against them (be it from the Court or the nature of the Trope Pantheons), namely being able to outright destroy them with his unique brand of Patronus Charm, though it is Cast from Lifespan when used in that level rather than that of a standard Patronus.
    • As a side effect of being The Dreaded to Dementors, Harry's become a target for the despair-propagators in the Pantheon as they're also concerned with this development; what is he capable of that Dementors actively avoid him?
    • Speaking of his Patronus, the fact that he can cast one has somehow become public knowledge too, and that it takes the form of a Homo sapiens sapiens, though not the Dementor-killing bit or or its ability to return life to a dead body. He's not teaching anyone how he does that; given its nature, and the required mindset, one has to personally come to the same conclusion and thought process he did lest they lose the ability to cast the standard Patronus Charm trying to mimic him.
  • Because of his symbol and his "chaos" strategy, some wonder if Discord or Q had anything to do with this inspiration. Both have denied all such claims.
  • Ever since first seeing McGonagall turn into a cat, even after learning Transfiguration in Hogwarts (to the point that he can do it partially, though he tries as hard as possible to keep that a secret), he twitches upon seeing other shapeshifters do their stuff. The few exceptions are technical "blobs" such as the T-1000, and the Hard Light Crystal Gems (his real issue is with Steven's existence period and his ability to fuse just like them, even with a completely organic companion like Connie).
  • Just because he's extremely intelligent doesn't mean he's infallible; he's still 11 years old, after all, and his various shortcomings have made that painfully obvious to him.
  • After the near-disaster that was his war against Voldemort/Professor Quirrel and everything that has led to it, he's finally learned that he's not the only hero in this fight, and always makes sure to confide what he knows to his superiors (and other adults as long as they respect his intelligence and don't blow him off for his minority) in the fight against evil, mostly Dumbledore and Cosmos. Given his great intellect, the latter is grateful to have someone like him on her side.
  • As his struggles are on behalf of humanity, he naturally opposes YHVH for his progress-stifling ideals, and Lucifer for his goals putting a lot of humanity in danger in his fight against the former.
  • A rumor (which might be true) spread that Harry had apparently killed a unicorn for its blood some of which might've been used for the revival process on his world's Hermione, earning him the ire of not only Lady Amalthea, but all non-evil-aligned denizens of Equestria (Rarity on top of that list) and Xerneas. Harry for his part is trying to make time to clear up this issue, but he's annoyed that "narrative reasons" keep him from doing so at every turn.
  • Sees death as the final enemy to life and something that should be ultimately removed forever one day, and so he holds no favor to all grim reapers and death deities, but finds the Death Is Cheap nature of the Pantheon as a temporary convenience to help achieve his goal.
    • It's true that Harry seeks immortality, but he wants it for everyone, so any other seekers of it that have no problem with taking lives to achieve it (like Alex Wesker), or require lives to maintain the immortality are enemies of his as not only do they go against everything he believes in, it would ruin the whole point of his goal.
  • Advises broomstick riders to never attach a rocket to it for faster flying; he tried that himself, and it almost cost him and his passengers.

Added a little to Adara's profile to hopefully make her bio better. I also remembered that someone wanted me to add Link and Zelda as allies and Ganondorf as a enemy though I forget their argument for it.

Adara, Goddess of Spark Sprites (Adara The Sprite, The Sultry Little Sprite)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adara_1.png
Adara in Cutscenes.
  • Rank: Quasideity
  • Symbol: A spark of light with wings.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Absolute Cleavage, Damsel in Distress, Fairy Companion, Fairy Sexy, The Heart, Leotard of Power, Most Common Super Power, Mystical White Hair, Pretend Prejudice, Super Gullible, Unobtainium
  • Domains: Sprites, Zeenium, Freedom, Rebellion, Teamwork
  • Herald: Other Sprites
  • Followers: Fireflies, Pyreflies, many fairies in Hyrule
  • Allies: Cael Cyndar, Thrall, the entire House of Fairies, Head Pixie, Jorgen Von Strangle, Wanda, many in the House of Dragons, Smaug, Optimus Prime, Link, Princess Zelda
  • Enemies: Miraak, Denzel Crocker, Gul'dan, Garrosh Hellscream, Ganondorf
  • Headbutting Heroes: Timmy Turner, Cosmo
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Navi
  • Distrusts: The Dovahkiin, Frankenstein's Monster
  • Possible Alternate Company Equivalent: Sparx
  • Respected by: Paarthurnax
  • Respects: Paarthurnax
  • Opposes: Smaug
  • Originally entered the Pantheon as the Herald of her friend Cael Cyndar, a fact she finds ironic since she saved him and largely orchestrated Dragon Revolution. While in the Pantheon she mostly worked under Cael collecting information and then using it to help them in their goals. In fact it was during one of her information gathering ventures it was discovered by those in the Main House that she was a kind of Spark Fairy, often appearing as little more than a ball of light or sparks with wings from a distance. It was with that fact they she would become the Goddess of Spark Fairies.
  • Presumably; like most of the sprites in her world, she was a slave to the Orc Bureaucracy, however she has neither confirmed or denied this though. It is known though at some point she met the orc monk Galthran Etruk and worked together to free a dragon, in this case a dragon named Cael Cyndar.
    • This was done by Adara giving Zeeniumnote  to a unconscious Cael in Desmurian Ty. Doing this caused Cael to regain his powers and allowed him to escape.
      • Ironically shortly after Cael's escape from Desmurian Ty she was captured and then saved by the dragon. She then managed to recruit him to her cause by revealing how he achieved his own freedom and through this alliance the two became fast friends.
  • While working with Cael against the Orc Bureaucracy Adara's main job was to collect information and provide Cael with missions.
    • She also occasionally help in transporting various items such as dragon eggs and gold.
  • Is actually capable of carrying a dragon egg, despite being about 1/3 the size of one.
  • Though she was Gullible enough to believe that Galthran Etruk was a orc ally she no long believes that this is possible, at least with the orcs from her own universe. Thankfully she knows that not all orcs are bad and actually gets along with some of the good orcs in the Pantheon like Thrall and tries to keep Cael from trying to kill them.
    • Though only sometimes a orc Adara doesn't trust the Dovahkiin due to having multiple different counterparts. Through the Dovahkiin she also learned about Miraak and quickly became he's enemy due to the ancient alliance sprites have with dragons.
  • Is on good terms with the entirety of the House of Fairies, even The Fairy Godmother. This is due to her work in her world with the Sprite Emancipation. She also has a good relationship with various other fairies outside of that House for much of the same reasons.
    • She does find Navi annoying though.
  • Due to her work in the Dragon Revolution and due to the sprites from her world being ancient allies to dragon kind she quickly became friends with the non-evil aligned members of the House of Dragons.
  • Finds herself comparing Spyro and Sparx to Cael and herself for some reason.
  • Is greatly disturbed with Frankenstein's Monster, having seen something similar in the form of one of Galthran Etruk's unfinished experiments and as such finds herself incapable of trusting him.
  • Has a lot of respect for the old dragon Paarthurnax who sided with the ancient Nords instead of his own largely malevolent race. This respect is even returned by Paarthurnax for all the work she's done in the Dragon Revolution and Sprite Emancipation.
  • Though she knows that it is sometimes necessary she hates working with Timmy Turner and Cosmo, the two are normally just to chaotic and even stupid to work with and sometimes even be near. The same can not be said for Wanda though who's at least sane and is someone she can enjoy the company of.
    • Through them she also made enemies with Denzel Crocker, who she sees as a enemy of fairies everywhere.
  • When Optimus Prime heard of the crimes caused by the Orc Bureaucracy he offered Adara his assistance on the grounds that, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings". A statement she agrees with fully.
  • Though Adara is very much against the various thefts Smaug has done against the good and neutral beings in the Pantheon, she is not above using his greed to her own advantage by revealing to him which of her enemies have treasure and where it might be. She is; however, out of fear not bold enough to lie to him though.
  • Finds the actions of Gul'dan and Garrosh Hellscream horrifying, even compared to the actions of the orcs of the Orc Bureaucracy.

[up][up][up] Seeing as no one has responded to the question, I think I'm a little justified to repost the original post.

[up][up] I kind of guessed that, but since I've been told I need to provide more in-depth descriptions of the relationships (Though I'm not sure what's so wrong about what I've already had for the relationships.). That said I'm actually a little confused on how Link and Zelda's relationship with fairies work (Aside from a few notable individuals like Navi.), since despite the fact the fairies clearly help Link, he's also been known to bottle them. Zelda to the best of my knowledge has no relationship with fairies as a whole. Now Ganondorf I can make sense of, but only if Link is a ally.

  • Description: An exclusive, all-girls school located on top of a mountain called Mt. Amuro
  • Symbol: The Cathedral, but especially the old bell tower
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (Many students here tend to align toward Lawful Good, while some of the higher-ups turn out to be Lawful Evil)
  • Portfolio: One-Gender School that some seek to subvert, partly due to sparing no expense on furniture or renovations, Boarding School, Elaborate University High, Town with a Dark Secret
  • Domains: Schools, Change, Settings
  • Sacred to: Tamie Nogi, Konomi Yanase
  • Vincennes Academy is an all-girls school located somewhere in a mountainous part of Central Japan. The school itself is located on top of a mountain called Mt. Amuro. Specifically, it occupies virtually the entire peak of the mountain, to the point that even the mountainside lake is effectively theirs.
  • Founded during the Meiji restoration, the school was established by French Catholic missionaries following the opening-up of the country. Their influence still reigns strong even to this day, with the use of French terms in everyday life there, as well as the old cathedral still standing strong.
  • Of special note is the school's prestigious position. So prestigious, in fact, that its administrators spared no expense on pretty much everything inside the school, ranging from furniture to entire renovations.
    • In fact, this is partly the reason why some seek to make the school co-ed. Due to the decreasing number of incoming students and piling up debt from the aforementioned renovations and unnecessary spending, some within the school's administration and student body have proposed going co-ed as a possible solution. Naturally, a number of the more conservative elements, both administration and student alike
  • The school overshadows a small city known for having Yakuza activity, especially in the suburban areas and around the train station at night. Because of this, the hooligans and criminals often target Vincennes students in the rare event that some of them venture out.
  • Depending on certain choices made by their first male student, the school can either subvert the status quo and become a co-ed school, or maintain the status quo. It all depends whether the guy in question ends up with someone related to the school's, and by extension, his and his hometown's past, or someone who isn't part of the "core" cast.
  • Unknown to most students, faculty, and even people living in the nearby town, the school is host to a Dark Secret. The secret in question? One of their most prominent alumni was responsible for an infamous incident involving arson and attempted murder during a summer festival. However, the full details of this aren't revealed to The Protagonist except on a certain route, where it's revealed that the arsonist in question was his own Love Interest's mother, and that she was the same person responsible for almost killing him that time as well.
  • Upon the school's ascension, both Tamie Nogi and Konomi Yanase are relieved to finally be back in a familiar place. Immediately, they make their home in their old dorm rooms located in the campus. With no strict faculty or admins, both of them freely invite other interested deities, particularly those from the House of School, over.
  • Among the deities that enjoy Vincennes the most are the students from Yamaku. They immediately note how Vincennes heavily resembles their own school, spacious dormitories, lavish facilities, and all.

  • Potential House: Vehicles
  • Appearance: The second of three Olympic-class ocean liners built for the White Star Line, and undoubtedly, the most famous/infamous of them all. The ship herself is a black, four-funnel ocean liner with a displacement of some 52,310 tons.
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Sinking after hitting an iceberg in the North Atlantic, Not enough lifeboats to evacuate those on board, The ship and many of its passengers being lost to ice and the freezing North Atlantic
  • Sacred to: Rose DeWitt Bukater, Cal Hockley and Jack Dawson, James Cameron, Castiel
  • Probably the most famous/infamous case of a Sinking Ship Scenario in history, the RMS Titanic was an Olympic-class ocean liner built for the White Star Line. At the time of her launch, she was the largest ship in the world, only beating out her sister-ship the Olympic, the previous record holder by a few thousand tonnes.
  • As many already know, the ship struck an iceberg and sank in the North Atlantic, with some 1,500 passengers losing their lives in the cold, dark, North Atlantic.
  • Following the disaster, many hard lessons were learned. Namely, iceberg warnings were made a bigger priority, and lifeboat regulations were now strictly enforced.
  • The Titanic that is brought into the Pantheon is, notably, an exact, intact replica of the real ship, Grand Staircase and all. This is mainly due to what happened to the ship as depicted in some of the above images, showcasing that the original ship is nothing more than a number of giant husks of rusting steel resting at the bottom of the North Atlantic. This replica was created from the blueprints carried by Thomas Andrews himself.
    • And, if any worried deity is wondering, no, the ship will not sail out of port despite having functioning engine and boiler rooms. This is to avoid history from repeating itself, as well as to prevent the work on this ship from going to waste.
  • Given that the sinking of the ship had a huge impact on all three of them, Rose, Jack, and Cal are, understandably, astonished that the Titanic is in the Pantheon now. Even when they're all told it's an exact replica, it does little to change this.
    • Cal's astonishment is later replaced by disappointment, given that this replica does not have the Heart of the Ocean diamond on board.
  • James Cameron himself is impressed that the deities who had arranged for the building of this replica had done their research well and to-the-letter.
