Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Hamana: Some Harry Potter deities I guess? I don’t know if that will work but they’re pretty much the first thing that comes to my mind regarding suggestions for you.

[up]I don’t know because apparently, the real-life version P.T. Barnum is a controversial figure in history and I don’t know if real-life controversial people that aren’t politicians or royalty at least are allowed.

@yugi: It was a suggestion in my adoptables list, so consider it adopted by you. Just make Juzo Megure his high priest and you're good to go.

@fasoman: I was okayed for that suggestion.

I think I’m done with Wei.

Wei Shen, God of Infiltrations (The Serpent)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/73bbf26e_d57a_4f62_839c_2e8d5bb8ebc9.png
  • House: Investigative Work
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Hong Kong Police logo
  • Theme Song: Theme A
  • Alignment: Neutral Good with Chaotic Neutral tendencies
  • Portfolio: Mole in Charge, Rabid Cop, Unstoppable Rage, Ambiguous Disorder, Rabid Cop, Unscrupulous Hero, Anti-Hero, Combat Pragmatist, Genius Bruiser, Revenge Before Reason
  • Domains: Cops, Infiltrations, Triads, Violence, War
  • Herald: Inspector Jane Teng
  • Allies: Dirty Harry, Axel Stone, Adam Hunter, and Blaze Fielding, Raymond Holt, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago, Mikado Ryuugamine and Masaomi Kida
  • On neutral terms: Chun-Li, Lei Wulong, Giorno Giovanna, Kazuma Kiryu
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Cole Phelps, RoboCop
  • Enemies: Brian Irons, The Slavers, The evil deities of the House of Demons and Ghosts
  • Respected by: House of Justice
  • Opposed by: Inspector Valjean
  • Conflicted by: Fat Tony, Vito and Michael Cordalene, Huang Lee
  • Wei Shen is a Chinese police officer who is known for his tendencies to approach his job violently, which made him the perfect candidate to infiltrate the Sun On Yee, who were at war with the 18K. Rising through the ranks thanks to his dedication to complete his job and becoming a Red Pole when Uncle Po was sent to the hospital, his loyalty seemingly became conflicted as he seems to grown attach to his new comrades and is willing to take drastic measures to maintain his cover. Tortured by one of Sun On Yee’s Red Poles, “Big Smile” Lee, he killed him as he’s planning to kill Broken Nose Jiang’s forces and the votes against him to gain votes to become the leader of Sun On Yee and discovered that his boss, Superintendent Thomas Pendrew, is the one who killed Uncle Po in his hospital bed, which leads to the latter’s arrest. In the end, he returned to the police force and his complete loyalty to the Sun Oh Yee and choosing to help Broken Nose Jiang caused the former to leave Wei alone.
  • While a triad is planning to bomb the Pantheon, Lei Wulong and Chun-Li were the officers assigned with the task to take them down, but they are also assigned with a partner known as Wei Shen, whose job was to infiltrate the unknown triad to see if he is worth ascending. With his knowledge and experience of being a triad member as well as using Chinese magic (which he’ll promise to explain later), he was able to successfully take down the triad. While Lei and Chun-Li don’t like his violent tendencies and not following their rules, they respect his dedication of finishing the mission and is respectful enough that they nominate him for ascending even if the three are in neutral terms.
  • Having grown up in a neighborhood where majority of his neighbors are gang members and his deceased sister being one of them, he became an extremely violent cop who’s willing to do anything to finish his job necessary. Despite this, he is well-respected by the police force that they couldn’t bring themselves to fire him. This is not the case with the Pantheon, where some cops don’t like him because of it despite the fact he’s truly dedicated to his job. Cole Phelps and RoboCop opposed him in that matter being that they are the type of moral cops that tend to follow everything dictated by the law, though they’re willing to work with him if it’s necessary. Whereas Inspector Javerr is less willing to work with him, who believes that the law is so superior he doesn’t accept anything that contradicts his morality and his affiliation with the Sun On Yee as well as his supposed loyalty to them doesn’t help.
  • His proficiency at his job gave him a lot of respect of the House of Justice. Although they don’t like how he approaches his job violently, as long as he follows the rules and don’t use it way too much, they don’t have any problems with him and he’s so good at his job that he and his herald Jane Teng became one of the most requested cops to take on cases.
  • Originally wanting to get vengeance on triads because of his sister’s death of being involved with them, he became empathetic and attached to the Sun On Yee despite the fact they’re actual criminals, not to mention that they can be nice guys who hold a deep value on family and regard each member as one. Though uncomfortable with this revelation, Dirty Harry managed to struck an alliance with Wei Shen, not to mention they’re the type of cops who are both willing to break the law to kill their enemies and avenge their friends. Despite the fact Harry doesn’t want to work with people in his job, the two have managed to become good friends outside of it.
  • Axel, Adam, and Blaze being the type of cops who are rebellious cops who quit their jobs and became vigilantes, have get along with him, despite the fact it took them a while to get over the fact that he is in somewhat good terms with the Sun On Yee. Their combat skills gave a compliment with each other on making their jobs faster and have been regarded by many people as a great team because of it.
  • Having shared similarities with their fellow former cop teammate of theirs who has been an undercover cop, having violent tendencies, and having shown cases of mental disorders, Jake Peralta, Amy Santiago and their superior Raymond Holt took it rather easy on him and have established a good alliance with each other. It also helps that while they are the type of people who love to follow the law, they’re willing to break it and do their own things if it’s necessary even if what they do is less violent than his. Because of this, Wei is much more respectful to them and is even willing to listen to them.
  • He is a bit disgusted by Brian Irons being the worst kind of Dirty Cop in existence and using the apocalypse to serve his evil ways. The first thing Wei Shen did to him is burning his entire body to the incinerator before Brian was revived in the House of Life and Death. His animosity at the cop made him allies with Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Chris’s sister, Claire Redfield, who don’t mind his violent ways as long as he doesn’t overdo it and considering he has Chinese magic that could help him combat against demons and ghosts, both of whom are undead beings, they wonder if it could work the same way to zombies.
  • Due to his undercover cop status, a lot of mobsters like Fat Tony and Michael and Vito Corleone feel conflicted by him especially because he stayed loyal to the Sun On Yee to the very side even after deflecting from the triad. In Wei’s opinion, he respects Vito Corleone because of his family values but understood why people like them don’t know what to think of him and told them as long as they don’t piss him off, he won’t bother them.
    • Good-aligned mobsters such as Giorno Giovanna and Kazuma Kiryu think of him as an okay person because of his loyalty and kindness to others as long as you aren’t his family and his attachment to the Sun On Ye didn’t let him to arrest them despite the fact he has that advantage. They don’t think of him that much since they’re much more on neutral terms. Wei certainly likes them since they’re much more noble than a typical mafia member and could see himself getting along with them (especially Giorno) if he actually remained a triad member.
    • Before ascending to the Pantheon, he used to be the high priest of Huang Lee despite his infiltration mission. Huang Lee appears to be conflicted by Wei over the fact he is an undercover cop who chooses to stay with the end at the end and his attachment with Sun On Yee doesn’t help matters. The two decided to never speak with each other because of it.
  • Being former gang members who ultimately decided to deflect from it and wanting to live a normal, Mikado Ryuugamine and Masaomi Kida are glad to see that despite his attachment to the Sun On Yee, he decided to stay as a cop. The trio have become good friends and sympathize with each other over their sufferings and losses (specifically Masaomi) they have to endure when they used to be on the side of crime.
  • One of his friends, Ilyana, has a friend who’s been kidnapped by a man who wants to buy immigrant women and begs Wei for his help to help her friend and other girls like them. Being reminded by that man who managed to be much worse than him, he hates The Slavers so much so he asked his superiors of the Pantheon if he could personally handle them on his own, which really pissed off The Slavers for understandable reasons.
  • In an alternate universe, ghosts and demons exist in a world where they tend to lurk around the streets, and unfortunately, Wei has to face them since they kidnapped his supposed girlfriend and revive his enemies back from the dead. To counter this, he drinks a magical tea that gives him Chinese magic that made him able to be equal with them on power. Having received his memories from that universe as well as his ability to use Chinese magic, he has come to oppose the evil deities of the House of Demons and Ghosts.
You're a cop. I'm an undercover cop; The rules are different

    • Z-Moves: Varies between Acid Downpour, Supersonic Skystrike, and Black Hole Eclipse depending on the Zubat/Golbat
  • Portfolio: Deceptively Hard-to-Defeat Enemies, Cave-Dwelling Pokémon, Bats, Found In All Sorts of Locales, Flying-type, Poison-type, Draining HP With Leech Life And Absorb, Sound-Based Moves

  • Followers: Fleamen, Future predators, and... bats. Lots and lots of other species of cave bats.
  • Allies: Naka, Brock, Riku, Chuggaaconroy, the Bat Family, Gladion
  • Conflicting Opinions: Team Rocket, and all other villainous teams in the Pokémon World (lesser extent for Maxie, Archie, and Cyrus)
  • Enemy: All Electric-type, Rock-type, and Psychic-type users
  • Not to Be Confused With: Kaiketsu Zubat
  • When it comes to aggravating Random Encounters that players hate facing (not for their difficulty, but for their annoyance to take down), none are more infamous than the Zubat evolutionary line. Absurdly high encounter rates, ludicrous speed, HP draining attacks, and Confusion-inducing moves make for a huge nuisance. And when Zubat become small fry, their evolutions Golbat pick up the slack with potent poisoning, escape prevention, and forced turn skipping by way of flinching. The only reason their final stage Crobat is not counted is because they're only encountered under trainers since Happiness is required to evolve them to that stage.
  • Despite having their own temple/cave in the House of Gaming, they can be found in caves all over the Pantheon, often getting into competition with other cave-dwelling bats and expies of such.
  • Through capture, training and The Power of Friendship, Zubat can one day gain great power to aid in the battle against evil. It was stuck in the Villains house before the opening of the Gaming house just because how it annoys many Pokémon trainers in their quest to attain heroism. Doesn't help that Zubat is the most common Pokémon among the grunts of the Pokémon world's villainous teams.
  • Of all gods to make friends with Zubat was Chuggaaconroy, who captured Zubat and evolved it into a Crobat that he calls…Acrobat.
    • Brock has also shown that he has captured a Zubat (which also evolved into Crobat) in the past, so at least they have trusted company now.
    • Riku has given a hint that whenever his Komory Bat is in the Pokémon world, it takes on the form of a Crobat.
  • While not having any particulars, the Zubat and Golbat are occasional aid for the Bat family whenever they call up for bats to harass the enemy. And boy are they good at it.
  • While a popular Pokémon used by the villainous teams, they have no real opinions on some of the leaders (or the Rocket trio), as they have none of their own in their parties. Actually, their is disdain for Ghetsis because he's that despicable. There's a bit more respect for Maxie, Archie, and Cyrus given they own Golbats that eventually evolved into Crobats.

  • Allies: Kat, Mega Man
  • Ascended to the Pantheon by falling up to it.
    • That's what many joke about him saying. The truth is, the D.S.S. Souleye arrived somewhere in the House of Time and Space after the crew saved the dimension they got stuck in thanks to the research they found in the Secret Lab. After that, they tried getting back home, but ended up here. After negotiations, an appearance before the Court of the Gods, and a report of their journey, Viridian was nominated to represent Gravity Screw, due to it being the core mechanic of his whole adventure.
  • Despite being referred to as male, no one actually knows whether or not if he's male or female. Officer Vermilion does addresses the Captain as "Sir", but that's likely from military regulations, which would require that form of address even if Viridian was a woman.
  • Has trouble navigating certain houses because of bumps of moderate heights, which he must reverse gravity to go over. Inclines make it easier for him to navigate.
  • If Viridian falls out of sight, whether by accident or another god pulling a joke, he respawns hours later back at the "entrance" to the House of Time and Space.
    • However, since Born's ascension evaluating the inconvenience of this, Viridian's respawn has been changed to "seconds after his death" and "at the entrance of any sub-House/Dominion he's in".
  • Has become good friends with Mega Man, who shares the same problem with spikes.
  • Kat gets along with Viridian and is often there to help him out by carrying him with her gravity powers whenever he needs to traverse somewhere with multiple elevations.
  • Has been invited to a tournament somewhat similar to that of Master Hand's. And fellow Indie Game deities like Shovel Knight, Sash Lilac, Octodad, Dust, Diogenes, and Gunvolt have been invited as well. And to even things out, he's been granted the ability to throw the V spikes that have plagued his adventure. Among many other bonuses.

Followers still being discussed? Kind of agree with faso in that its being dragged far longer than it should have.

Honestly speaking, if the header is something readers are going to ignore, I'd like to see someone actually make a video on how a profile is made step-by-step and posting it besides the header (Unlikely to happen, but hey, one can dream). Of course how nominating a character is the first thing to address.

Hamana: There's always Barney Stinson if one wants to find a womanizer. Also maybe Jiraiya and Issei Hyodo. That said, Howl would be enemies with Embryo who conventional attractiveness and suave exterior hides a demented and twisted interior. Not sure of missing magicians and those with age affected by curses/spells for Sophie though. I'll be on the lookout though.

Reposting Tyrell and Price, given I've yet to really receive a reply.

  • The CEO of E Corp, Philip Price has an immeasurable influence and reputation on the world, thanks to his company being the dominant business mogul. Because of his company's role in hiring several people for numerous shady schemes, Price played a hand in the deaths of Elliot's father and Angela's mother and had been collaborating with Deus Group head Zhi Zhang, who also masqueraded as the Dark Army leader, Whiterose. Despite initially appearing to disregard anything other than himself and his company as expendable, Price has shown himself to be a much deeper character and is a lot more genteel to be around with. However, one too many schemes and catastrophic actions from Whiterose caused Price to be disillusioned and be pitted against his close business associate. After confessing to being Angela's father before she was shortly executed and retiring his position as CEO, Price decides to align himself with Elliot to help take down Whiterose, the Deus Group and the Dark Army. With help from Elliot and Darlene, Price succeeded, only to be shot and killed by an enraged Whiterose, distraught after realizing her plans were All for Nothing.
  • Melkor had been thinking about the prospect of a conglomerate for the Grand United Alliance of Evil. Whilst he knew that sundering, destruction and tyranny was his ultimate goal, he realized sooner or later, that there's always going to be some sort of leisure and free-time activities that villains would want to pursue. The God of Evil was amused to discover a company going by Evil Corp and thought that this will definitely play out his ambitions. Taking full precedence, Melkor ascended Philip Price into the Pantheon...
    • Except the following events weren't as planned as he had predicted. Turns out, Melkor had been seeing events through the perspective of Elliot; there was never an "Evil Corp", the company was always simply known as E Corp. Price, not realizing what was going on and finding himself near a skyscraper, walked into a busy city street. Melkor... was not amused by what had happened.
  • It didn't take long for Price to realize that he was in a new world and that somehow, in some way, E Corp also exists alongside it. To his surprise, he saw that the company was running pretty smoothly and that this new world wasn't plagued by worldwide debt and authoritarian control. Not noticing Whiterose's presence and the fact that E Corp was doing fine with a new CEO, Price decided to settle down and retreat to a new household to manage himself and savor up some money. That said, he does get some earnings from E Corp due to his close ties as former CEO.
  • Although Price lives in peace in the Pantheon, its become no surprise to him that the Pantheon, now the new world that he lives in, is locked into a perpetual state of battle between different factions. Price couldn't really do much and stated that he's done his job and that to save the world from fantastical threats is something that he cannot contribute to, even if he wanted to.
    • Near E Corp's main entrance during a quiet midnight, Price was approached by Nagato. The former CEO initially had no idea what was going on, until Nagato told him about how he's secretly getting paid by E Corp as royalty fee. Price stated that he's retired and has since, got nothing to do before attempting to walk away. He was stopped when Nagato told him that Tyrell was also in the Pantheon and is currently unaware of Elliot's success in defeating the Dark Army, in addition to a growing presence of malicious businessmen who seek to use their companies to assert dominance. Nagato politely demanded Price to fund his money to him for the intent of developing tech to use against the many evil forces in the Pantheon. Price however rebuffed, stating that if his money is to be used, than it should be to benefit those in need. Taken aback, Nagato agreed with the terms.
    • Since his admission into Nagato's company, Price currently serves as the financial service, often being the one who provides money and budget to help out with development and planning. He's since made quick friends with Captain Cold as he adheres to standards and understands what Price wants to aim for. Additionally, the more he learned from Nagato, Price has since come to becoming more civil and agreeable with him, considering he also wanted to save the world, just like Elliot wanted to. That said, while he is available for help, Price will not have his money spent on weaponry, partly because a casualty will force him out of his reclusive life and partly because it would damage his reputation and force him into hiding.
  • His true identity as Angela's father and her subsequent death was what finally drove Price to fight for the greater good, although it was more out of a desire to avenge Angela. Because of this, he is in amicable graces with the Fathers Sub-House and he genuinely respects and fears those who are immensely dedicated to their children's protection. That said, not everyone is fond of him, case in point, Asura, who is disappointed in that Price could have been a far better father than in his mortal life. Angela not being in the Pantheon doesn't help matters.
    • Mithra does however send her condolences and is willing to help out his grievances and issues in settling and dealing with Pantheonic affairs. Knowing what Asura is truly capable of, Price usually acts his best towards Mithra. It helps in that his jovial and sophisticated demeanor isn't an act.
  • While he was corrupt and amoral throughout much of his mortal life, Price does have moral standards that he won't cross and maintains a sense of honor and civility in his business approach. Though E Corp is guilty of pollution to some extent, Price is willing to try correcting his mistake and thinks Mr. Burns is utterly reprehensible. Although E Corp is one of the biggest, most successful companies in the Pantheon, Price is taking measures to be pragmatic and careful about his connections.
    • He also utterly loathes Eliza and Neil Reagan, mainly because their snobbish and petty attitude completely clashes against Price's demeanor and unlike him, never grow and learn morally nor attempt to be something meaningful in their lives. That, and he thinks their treatment and bullying towards Candace White amounts to nothing. That said, while Price has more respect towards Candace, she doesn't really have much thoughts on him in return, though Price is willing to try helping her out with financial issues if need be.
  • As a redeeming villain, Price is seen with suspicion and doubt by many heroes in the Pantheon. Batman is among the most concerned as he has more than enough evidence to incriminate Price for his company's wrongdoings. Price on the other hand is very cautious about him, especially knowing what he is capable of. They have worked together in order to bring down Patrick Bateman at one point, but even then, their collaboration was incredibly uneasy at best. That said, at least the two aren't enemies.
    • Speaking of Bateman, he initially wanted to work under E Corp as a means to bolster his reputation and look cooler by working in one of the Pantheon's biggest conglomerates. Initially, Price allowed him in... until reports of murdered E Corp employees began to surface in distressing numbers. An investigation was ordered where after a long time, Bateman was finally ousted as the culprit. Ever since then, Bateman has retreated to the GUAE, seeking revenge.
  • He has Chester V nominated as his High Priest, which earned him disapproval from some residents of the Hose of Food. That said however, Price is able to keep Chester V in check thanks to the influence of E Corp and the threat of consolidating Live Corp into E Corp if Chester V ever tries to step away from Price's expectations deliberately. Chester V himself was initially confident in thinking he'll be able to weasel out of Price's control, but after learning of Price's allegiance with Nagato, that seems to be really unlikely.
    • Even then, it's actually made pretty clear that Price isn't exactly fond of Chester V himself. The reason the latter is the former's High Priest is mainly because of pragmatism and to further support the GUAG from the shadows. That, and E Corp still remains relatively unchallenged in the Pantheon given it's scope and general reputation.
  • He was able to eventually track down Tyrell and come into terms with Elliot's success in defeating the Dark Army. Tyrell however felt empty, knowing that his wife and son are not in the Pantheon with him. Price reciprocates with the absence of Angela, but as of now, the two are now thrust into a new world with new opportunities, which both Price and Tyrell are unsure of how to pursue it. Price has accepted to work as a financial benefactor for Nagato, but Tyrell is reserving to lead out a quiet life for now.
  • Despite his murky actions in his mortal life, Price has managed to endure his good reputation thanks to his personality. Despite this, he's not exactly on good terms with other successful businessmen like Lex Luthor, given that he's far too fixated on Superman above most things and that working with him would mean opposing the Justice League and several other heroes, a chance that Price knows won't work out for him. On the contrary, he's quite chummy with Speedwagon and Price has even offered a collaborating relation between E Corp and the Speedwagon Foundation. Despite being genuine with help, Speedwagon has declined mainly due to E Corp's shady reputation, though he doesn't hesitate to personally help Price at times.
  • As amoral as he was back then, even Price couldn't stand Tenjuro Banno. If anything, he ended up making a difficult truce with Go Shijima to make any set of plans to take him on. It helps that with E Corp's power and influence, Price can invest in projects designed to counter Banno's science to some extent, even being open to the idea of upgrading and developing new Kamen Rider suits, but for now, he's keeping himself reserved, so as not to catch too much of Banno's attention.
  • As a way to make up for his actions, Price has tried to be charitable and donate some of the profits he gets from E Corp to orphans and the poor in the Pantheon. It seems like a nice gesture, but another meeting with Nagato eventually led Price to realize that his actions might be seen as a try-hard by residents with the rate he's spending money on. He's since being more careful.
  • After some time, he was able to meet up with Elliot again at some point. Impressed with how they were able to defeat Whiterose, but still grieving over the loss of Angela, the two sometimes try to console with each other, now that their primary enemies are gone. That said, they also have to deal with new threats in the Pantheon, though for the time being, Price and Elliot are currently trying to adjust.
A con doesn’t work without the confidence.

  • For one to pursue great ambition, one may also be ready to partake and indulge in morally questionable acts to get ahead of the game. Enter Tyrell Wellick, a dedicated and focused employee for E Corp who's made it his life's work to become the company's CTO. However, going along with the grand ambition is a raving beast and childish impulse that would often get the best of him. Such was the case when Tyrell murdered the wife of his competitor when he won the position of CTO. However, Tyrell also took an interest in hacker Elliot Alderson, even wanting to give him a promotion. This came to a head as Elliot initiated the 5/9 Hack, rendering many of the world's top conglomerates nearly defunct. Tyrell was caught in the crossfire and was accused of being responsible. He was later reported missing... until he suddenly resurfaced towards Elliot again to show that he was in service with the Dark Army and had developed a God-Complex thinking he and Mr. Robot could work together. It turns out however that his allegiance with the Dark Army wasn't on his own accord as Tyrell was abducted on the day of the hack. He would later play a hand in the initiation of Stage 2, which resulted in the destruction of 71 buildings and the deaths of thousands. Unfortunately, Tyrell would run into really back luck; his wife Joanna was killed by a jilted lover and his son was taken away from him by child services. He would achieve his goal of CTO... only to be told by Price that the position is meaningless. His faith in the Dark Army crumbling, Tyrell enlists to join Elliot in taking on the Dark Army... only to be shot and bleeding out. Tyrell placed his faith into Elliot to take down the Dark Army before wandering off into a cold, snowy forest in Christmas. Before he expired, Tyrell found and collapsed besides what appeared to be a a bright blue glow....
  • Tyrell found himself groggy and dizzy as he woke up laid in ice. He stood up in the morning forest and twirled around, looking for directions. He took to crossing a road and followed signs to a nearby town. He discovered a convenience store and panicked upon encountering a passerby, who looked at him more out of confusion before walking away. From a distance, Tyrell saw a news broadcast about someone called Montgomery Burns and the efforts of environmental control by a Orc known as Rexxar. Bewildered, Tyrell entered the store the news was being broadcast in and asked a counter where was he. This gave him the confirmation that he was in the Pantheon, which made him further baffled and curious about what was going on.
  • One of the first things Tyrell did was drive to a nearby city to enlist himself on a high paying job. He did so by seducing a work employer he figured out was abusing his employees into sleeping with him, followed by exploiting his abuse of ethics, allowing him to get a good-paying job. In a short time, Tyrell was able to build up his financial status again and begin a new life in the Pantheon.
  • Since arriving in the Pantheon, one of Tyrell's primary objective is to see if Elliot was somewhere around. Initially, he was having trouble locating him... until he came back into contact with Phillip Price, who told him about what had transpired since his death. Upon hearing that Elliot defeated Whiterose and the Dark Army and dismantled the Deus Group, he sighed in relief and satisfaction. Eventually, Tyrell came into contact with Elliot again. Although their relationship is still in rocky terms, they've since began to slowly get better with working with one another.
  • Although his villainy has been toned down since, there is still some spark of Tyrell's unpredictable brutality and irrational nature surfacing every once in a while. Unfortunately for him, some heroic deities are actually aware of this and actually want him thrown into trial. Tyrell has since been trying to keep his composure and blend into the Pantheonic society since. Before anyone asks, it's actually a very daunting task.
  • Some residents tend to describe him as a tech-savvy Patrick Bateman. In actuality, Tyrell loathes any comparison with him. As psychotic and deranged as he may be, Tyrell at least loved his wife and son and admired Mr. Robot. Not only is Bateman far worse than Tyrell ever could be, but the guy is actively abrasive and dismissive against any sexual orientation besides heterosexuality. When the two met with one another near an office, Tyrell resorted to beating the ever-loving hell out of Bateman (though not without a fight). Once word broke out, literally everyone cheered for Tyrell for trying to beat up Bateman.
    • Of course Bateman hasn't forgot his beatdown. The next time, he's going to be making sure he gives Tyrell the most painful and gruesome death imaginable. For now, he's under retreat in a GUAE territory, but hey, at least he's given enough time to prepare.
  • Because of his connection with Price, Nagato met up with Tyrell, promising him protection and a chance to provide for something in the Pantheon. Tyrell agreed, mainly because if Elliot was going to do something, it he might as well give himself the adrenaline. Nagato offered Tyrell to be a part of his new organization's tech expert/hacker as he feels like the other organizations are hesitant to allow Tyrell into company. That said, Tyrell has made it clear that he would like to prioritize his personal life more.
  • To his surprise, he is odd friends with the Pantheon's representing Roidmudes, Heart, Brain and Medic. Although the three are wary of Tyrell's unpredictable nature, they sometimes give him company, mainly because Tyrell can come off as pitiable. That, and at least Tyrell tried to be a good father and treats the Roidmudes pretty affably, unlike their creator Tenjuro Banno.
  • Tyrell outright abhors Eliza and Neil Reagan. Not because they're just repulsive and aggressive even as children, but because their bratty and obnoxious personality irritates him so much Tyrell was nearly tempted to lash out against them. He also thinks Eliza and Neil are exactly the kind of people who would suck up to Whiterose unwillingly plus unlike the other upper-class denizens like Price, they have nothing interesting or redeeming to go along with. Eliza and Neil on the other hand are outright terrified of Tyrell upon learning of his temper and aggression. The two have since made a point to distance themselves as much as they could from him.
  • His working relations with other hackers is tenuous at best. While Tyrell is a skilled hacker and manipulator, his ego and temper have caused him to butt heads against Lisbeth Salander, the San Francisco DedSec and Aiden Pearce on a number of occasions. The three of them have admitted to calling Tyrell talented and reliable, but are also worried and cautious of his unpredictable anger and have asserted him not to get too ahead of himself.
    • Because of Elliot's concern about the Grand United Alliance of Machines, Tyrell has also worked with the GUAG White Hats, if only because he desires to work with Elliot and nothing else. The alliance is temporary, though Tyrell has managed to keep his word about keeping control of himself.
  • He has a peculiar way of greeting others, starting with "Bonsoir". Some residents have caught on with this tic and reply to Tyrell with his own gesture. He appreciates it.
    • During the time he was missing, some decried his absence and a few would even proclaim "Dicks out for Tyrell!". Tyrell actually feels rather embarrassed about this approach for notice.
  • He is rather sullen about the fact that his wife and son aren't in the Pantheon with him. Even if given another chance in life, Tyrell is unable to spend his life having a family of 3. The House of Family have since taken to pity him about it. Then again, Tyrell himself broods with Price on a similar subject matter as well, given the latter lost Angela the moment he told her about her paternal parentage.

Sorry, I apologize. However, I did read the rules. What did I do wrong? The only one I think I broke is that I posted it here instead of the linked one. I guess I got the two mixed up. Also, that thread hasn't been active since 2014. PS: I have contributed to this website, I have made edits and even created pages.

For some profiles I just put the character's respective armies/forces and be done with it.

I'm having writers block for AUG, Lanius, and Meridia atm. Words not coming out correctly. So I'm doing my part by not flooding the forum and giving input.

@ Hamana: I believe Shang Tsung was cursed into Rapid Aging and would wither into nothing if he didn't consume the souls of others to replenish himself. More unusual answer to your question there's Sector V and really KND as a whole who have dealt with stuff that tries to age them into adults. The most notable from what I remember would be Grandfather, Father's pops, has the ability to corrupt both kids and adults into Senior Citizombies.

@ keyblade: Wonder what he'd think of The Orokin from Warframe given that game's ascended gods has their dirty work over all of them in some way. Major ones included below:

  • There's the Technocyte Infestation, a bio-weapon that they attempted to use against The Sentients, robots who had turned against them suddenly. Didn't work and the Infested became a problem for them too.
  • The Grineer were originally a cheap Slave Race that they regularly demeaned and abused. They eventually repurposed them to fight against the Sentients but also turned against them too.
  • Finally, there's The Tenno. They are a group of one-man army warriors that are really children that became Liminal Beings and granted powers from the void itself piloting Half Human Hybrids of Infested tissue. They too were treated like dirt by the Orokin and though they dealt with The Infested and Sentients before both would reemerge a long time later they were the final nail in the coffin for the civilizaion.

@ Faso: Mention Dick Dastardly and Muttley if it wasn't planned already. And maybe Needles Kane even if his series focuses more on vehicular combat rather than racing. The times when it did blew.

You know, I just remembered something from reading that he kidnaps racers. I distinctly remember Nathan Drake and Kratos being Pre Order Bonuses in Modnation Racers. Maybe something there to include perhaps?
