Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@ fasoman: Rebel Army? I bet they'd have a poor relationship with the Rebel Alliance

@ Bazzardreturns: Man, that's some nostalgia for me. Go right ahead

What should I add to this restoration?

The Ebon Dragon, God of Hindering Heroic Actions (The Shadow of All Things)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/4fb64_ebondragon_donato_7.jpg
  • Note: Restoration
  • House: Evil Actions (House of Villains)
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A black disc so dark that it seems to suck away all light
  • Alignment: Stupid Evil
  • Portfolio: Heroes Act, Villains Hinder, Embodiment of Betrayal, Vice and, The ABSOLUTE LACK Of Virtues, Lack Of A Real Sense Of Self, Dark Is Evil, Our Dragons Are Different, Created The Unconquered Sun To Have A Foe To Define Him, Satanic Archetype, Inherently Pathetic Due To Embodying Vice And Failure, Stupid Evil, The Corrupter, Zero Valor, Always Lying, Shadow Archetype, For the Evulz, To Create a Playground for Evil, Physically Incapable of Selflessness
  • Domains: Treachery, Darkness, Shadow, Vice, Failure, Evil, Ruination
  • Interested in: dark villains, The House of Betrayal, Raditz, Lord Drakkon, Omega
  • Fond of: Those with no redeeming qualities whatsoever (particularly the treacherous), Walder Frey, Peter Pettigrew
  • "Allies": Dis, Angra Mainyu, Nyarlathotep (Persona), Dharkon, Yuuki Terumi, Barbatos, The Dark Knights, Tzeentch, Death (Final Destination), Grima, Nightmare Moon, Vaatu, Molag Bal, Aku
  • Rivals: Darkseid, Damien Thornnote , Chernabog
  • Enemies:
  • If the Exalted are divine representations of positive qualities and victories, then the Ebon Dragon is the Anti-Exalt, a being who exists to deprive victory. The embodiment of all vice and corruption, the Shadow of All Things is defined by existing to befoul and ruin others' hopes and dreams. It is inherently difficult for the Ebon Dragon to act proactively, his motives being to spitefully hinder others and deny their victories. As long as he comes out ahead of everyone else, he could lose everything and still be happy.
  • Long ago, the Ebon Dragon once held the role of Shadow Archetype, which he is meant to represent to...well, everyone and everything virtuous. Though present early in the pantheon's history, he and his Exalted brethren fell out of favor. With the Unconquered Sun no longer present, the Ebon Dragon has chose to define himself as the Arch-Enemy to Amaterasu, due to also being a sun goddess of good. And Cosmos for good measure.
  • By default, the Ebon Dragon is enemies to all who represent good. He particularly despises those who are light oriented. As the absolute antithesis of virtue, perhaps more so than the Kingdom of the Emperor Dolorous(who at least started out as beautiful), he is one of the only beings that The Love That Moves The Stars genuinely hates. He really hates the pure of heart, the embodiments of virtue, ect. However even villains like Leonard Snart detest the Ebon Dragon, as long as they have some set of virtues to speak of.
  • Villains who think they're doing right, be it their intention, goal or standards, regard the Ebon Dragon as an abomination. Zamasu hates what he represents, yet in his self-righteousness fails to realize how deeply monstrous he is. The Ebon Dragon mocks Zamasu, pointing out he is a deep traitor to the gods and to his role in the cosmos. Zamasu angrily screamed "YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO TALK!", though most believe he did.
  • Once dwelt among Melkor as one of the Four Horsemen, but as time passed he proved more irrelevant. The Ebon Dragon's first thoughts on his return were absolute rage at being replaced, especially by the Falcon of Light. In general, the Ebon Dragon hates light, good or evil. He soon called Melkor a traitor, causing him to laugh uproariously about the absolute hypocrisy of the Ebon Dragon complaining about treachery. Of course the Ebon Dragon has no virtues, so lacking integrity isn't surprising from him. Though as they entered the initial alliance knowing they'd try to backstab each other, the Ebon Dragon might be more angry about being kicked out the Four Horsemen.
  • The reason why the Unconquered Sun believes Dark Is Evil. And all benevolent darkness users loathe him for it. Amara, a force of cosmic darkness and Primordial Chaos, doesn't care for him due to having made up with her equal and opposite. That doesn't mean the Ebon Dragon likes the malicious light users, due to being of other things a force of darkness. However he does like the evil dark users such as Dharkon. Chernabog, however, had the official position of Dark Is Evil, something that he wants and is competing with Chernabog for it.
  • So long as he is restrained in any way whatsoever, he is completely incapable of taking any action that does not have the ultimate goal of trying to free himself. And it's obvious he regards morality as such a restraint. As such, the Ebon Dragon doesn't like those who represent order, even malevolent forces like Yaldabaoth and YHVH. However that doesn't mean he's liked by Lucifer, who while respecting the desire to be free regards the Ebon Dragon's actions as loathsome and finds him a deeply hollow figure.
  • Isn't welcome in the House of Dragons for how unfathomably evil and antagonistic he is. Io and Bahamut regard him as a disgrace to dragons, as does Daenerys Targaryen and Tiki. The Ebon Dragon considers Dany's TV Face–Heel Turn hilarious. That said, Grima is such a monstrous and evil dragon that to some extent the two get along. Much to their surprise Tzeentch got along with the Ebon Dragon, due to the fact their plans and goals are byzantine, chaotic ploys that by their own nature are often set against themselves.
  • As the Ebon Dragon lives to deny and ruin victory, he is considered antithetical to the House of Celebration. He is mostly opposed by the House of Gaming, however many griefers, cheaters and trolls there are less apprehensive about the Ebon Dragon. On his end, he hates Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson on the principle of "being stuck playing in the same moral sandbox as everyone else and he absolutely fails at it". Or to be less tactful, he's butthurt about failing the game and blames the guys who made it.
  • Betrayal is part of the Ebon Dragon's very nature. He'll betray his allies for no reason whatsoever. He'll betray himself by screwing himself over with Stupid Evil acts. He only has one physical body because multiple will betray him, and his own component souls will betray him if he ever he gets out of Hell. For this reason, he has a vested interest in the House of Betrayal, and claims to be its de facto leader. Most of the gods there ignore him.
  • If he admires anything, it is the worst of traitors. Peter Pettigrew for his absolute cowardice in turning against his friends, and Walder Frey for violating perhaps Westeros' most sacred rite for the petty motive of being angry at his marriage arrangement being rebuffed. That, and those without zero redeeming factors whatsoever. He also has a curious fondness for Raditz, due to being a cowardly loathsome figure who set up much of the plot, reflecting to the Ebon Dragon's desire to be more important in spite of his limitations. Raditz isn't pleased by this.
  • As much as he is capable of alliance, the Ebon Dragon supposes Barbatos and the Dark Knights are good allies. Barbatos argued that the Dark Knights are a superior example of the Shadow Archetype, and to some extent the Dark Multiverse is as a whole for being where dark paths never taken in the Light Multiverse occur. The Ebon Dragon supposes this might be the case, but would never admit it. Though happy to have his claw in the pie of mass destruction and degradation, Barbatos believes that the Ebon Dragon is fatally lacking in the proactive spirit.
  • Though no longer his official role, he retains a vested interest in those who represent the Shadow Archetype or are generally darker versions of the virtuous. Lord Drakkon and Omega are two, but he really seems to like Nightmare Moon's status as a bringer of eternal night; she's a real thorn in the side of solar deities. The Ebon Dragon also happens to enjoy those doomed to die, and those who's deaths will change the world. As such, he likes the cruel deaths that the Death of Final Destination pulls on those who cheat it.
  • Dis and Angra Mainyu are the gods who the Ebon Dragon can relate to the most. As Dis has purposefully voided every virtue of his in his absolute opposition to his creator, and Angra Mainyu is the original God of Evil who seems only to exist to oppose all that is good, this isn't surprising. The Ebon Dragon is by nature an underhanded, sneaky and subtle God of Evil, thus catching the attention of Molag Bal for being a great force of corruption. And his inherent inability to be anything but selfish and cruel is something Aku found himself relating to. Darkseid and Damien Thorn however have declared him to be a pathetic figure and not worth their time, despite the Ebon Dragon seeing himself as a superior rival among the forces evil. And they're right, as his evil is expressed by having bad Virtue scores. Anyone on his level with virtues can kick his ass, though he never ever fights fairly.
  • His wildest fantasy is to become a shinma, one of the defining forces of the universe. As such, he is eagerly eyeing up the Throne with the hope of becoming the fundamental Law of the cosmos and subject all creation to his whims. A horrifying prospect that the various Hadou Gods are making sure never happens, except Hajun who's too egoistic to really care. Not that they'll team up to stop him, and they probably won't need to. To get an idea of how horrifying the prospect is, know that the Ebon Dragon wants you to be at the absolute nadir of despair, your dreams crushed, your life ruined, and your body wracked by continual agony. Yes, you specifically. Also everyone else specifically. Ponder that for a few minutes.

@ EJ Tails: [tup] for Arusu.

@ Alex: To be fair, Heart's profile looks a bit short. I wouldn't mind having her replaced.
New drafts for Yumina and Natsumi.
Yumina Ernea Belfast, Goddess of Girlfriends That Help Score More Girlfriends
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yumina_ernea_belfast.png
  • Possible/New House: Love Interests
  • Ascending on:
  • Lesser Goddess (Greater Goddess with Brunnhild)
  • Theme Song: "Another World"
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Domain: Love, Nobility, Polyamory
  • Symbols: Nine engagement rings.
  • Portfolio: Love at First Sight, Harem Seeker, The Ojou, Living Lie Detector, Detect Evil, Jealous of Big Breasts, Guile Heroine, the Girlfriend that Controls the Other Girlfriends in Touya's Harem,
  • Followers: The Bride Conference (the eight other wives of Touya Mochizuki)
  • Allies: Touya Mochizuki (her husband), Lisesharte Atismata, Princess Zelda, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Belldandy, Kyu Sugardust
  • Enemies: The House of Tainted Love, especially Bellatrix Lestrange and Raynare, Lord Voldemort, Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: the Occult Research Club
  • Opposes: the Dursleys
  • Annoyed with: Ichika Orimura, Natsuru Senou
  • Conflicting Opinion: Princess Cadance
  • Yumina Ernea Belfast is the heir apparent to the throne of Belfast and one of the wives of the hero Touya Mochizuki. While she wasn't the first girl to join Touya's harem, she did formalize the idea of making a harem for Touya, which was made easier by her parents' approval and polyamory was legal in Belfast. Since then, Yumina has served as the leader of the Bride Conference, helping solve any problems faced by Touya's harem. Recognizing her achievements, the Court of the Gods cleared Yumina to ascend.
  • As soon as Yumina settled into her new temple, she became friends with Tohka Yatogami, who is just as devoted to Shido Itsuka as Yumina is devoted to Touya; not to mention she reminds Yumina of her friend and fellow wife Yae Kokonoe. Tohka introduced Yumina to her fellow Spirits Origami, who also shared Yumina's dream of becoming a bride, and Kotori, who can relate to Yumina's duties to the Bride Conference. As comamnder of Ratatoskr, Kotori often helps Shido with his dates with the Spirits, so she also assists Yumina whenever she is able.
  • Often goes to the House of Royalty to study under Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Yumina has impressed Zelda with her wisdom at an early age, her magical talent and her skill with a bow. Under Zelda's mentorship, Yumina has also become friends with Lisesharte Atismata, who also wants to become a worthy queen to her people. Yumina and Lisha have also bonded over the fact that well, their bodies haven't developed that much.
  • Became close friends with Belldandy, who reminds her of Olga Strand. Surprised that Belldandy was already a goddess when she ascended, Yumina asked Belldandy how she is old, she always says 17 years old. note  Belldandy has become something of a Cool Big Sis to Yumina and does everything she can to help her in anything regarding the Bride Conference.
  • Yumina thinks twice about going to the House of Tainted Love, especially after hearing that one of its inhabitants, the fallen angel Raynare, has a voice similar to hers. She was horrified upon learning that not only did she never love Issei Hyodo, she even killed him just to obtain power. She isn't all too fond of Bellatrix Lestrange either, for being an unrepentant psychopath who faithfully serves the internationally feared dark wizard Voldemort. As much as she loves Touya, she is aware of his flaws and isn't afraid to scold him whenever she screws up. She hates Raynare and Bellatrix with a passion and has promised never to become like them.
    • Despite her hatred for Raynare, she doesn't look forward to working with the Gremory household. While she respects their skills and talents, especially Rias Gremory for her leadership, she is weirded out by their weird sexual fetishes. Upon learning Issei has the power to destroy people's clothes, Yumina was absolutely shocked and forbade Issei to ever get near her. She had a bad experience with slimes that tore apart her clothes back when she was exploring a dungeon and she doesn't want a repeat of that.
    • Her hatred for Voldemort was intensified upon learning that not only does Voldemort hate the idea of love, he even broke his soul into seven pieces just to secure immortality. Thanks to Kotori and Ratatoskr, Yumina also became aware of the threat Isaac Westcott poses. The fact that Westcott is also allies with Voldemort doesn't endear him to Yumina, either. On a lesser note, she doesn't really like the Dursley family not only for abusing Harry Potter, but because they hate magic and polyamory. She was planning to bombard their house with arrows but Harry talked her out of it.
  • Princess Cadance, who has trouble lending support to harems, has gone on record saying that she disapproves of Yumina's work in the Bride Conference. She doesn't personally hate Yumina, it's just that harems are complicated and she is a staunch defender of monogamy. Yumina has replied that even with the harem aspect in full effect, she loves Touya, not to mention that polyamory is legal in Belfast, so she doesn't see what's the big deal. For now, they both agreed to disagree. On the other hand, Kyu Sugardust wholeheartedly supports Yumina and often lends her support in upholding the Bride Conference. The three goddess are willing to work together when fighting the deities from the House of Tainted Love, though.
    • She listened to Cadence and Kyu's discussions about Ichika Orimura and Natsuru Senou and went on to investigation to see what the fuss was all about. Needless to say, she was not pleased with Ichika and Natsuru's stupidity and incomprehensiveness to love and has done everything in her power to make sure to Touya doesn't become as stupid as they are. That said, she does feel a bit of sympathy towards the former for having to endure terrorist attacks on a regular basis and the latter for being brainwashed by the girl he loves.

Natsumi, Goddess of Empathic Shapeshifting (Witch)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natsumi_3_9803.jpg
Click here to see her true form
  • Possible/New House: Shapeshifters
  • Ascending on:
  • Lesser Goddess (Intermediate Goddess with Haniel)
  • Theme Song: "Bipolar Emotion"
  • Portfolio: Flying Broomstick, Uses an Idealized Female Form, Attractive Adult, Cute Child, Can Turn People Into Children, Master of Disguise, Still Beautiful in Her True Form
  • Alignment: True Neutral with Good tendencies
  • Domain: Shapeshifting, Love, Playfulness, Sarcasm, Self-loathing
  • Allies: Shido Itsuka, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Yoshino, Miku Izayoi, Mana Takamiya, Mayuri, Dark Magician Girl, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall, Nine the Phantom, Betty Suarez
  • Enemies: Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott, Lord Voldemort, the Evil Queen, Mother Gothel
  • Natsumi was just a young girl who wanted to be accepted and praised by others, but she was always ignored and rejected. Upon becoming a Spirit, she finally got the chance to fulfill her dream and used her powers to attain a become a beautiful woman. When she met Shido Itsuka, she thought she had discovered her true form and attempted to ruin her life. Fortunately, Shido saved Natsumi when she was in danger and she allowed him to seal her powers, wanting to be accepted by people as her real self.
  • Natsumi's adult form is actually a response to how she perceives the world after several visits on Earth in the past. Shido persuades her to grow out of it and stay true to herself, although she's not above using it to tease others or when she is forced into a battle.
  • Shido and the other Spirits welcomed Natsumi into the Pantheon with open arms. Natsumi deeply appreciates the Spirits' friendship, as they were the ones who accepted her as her real self and taught her that True Beauty Is on the Inside. Natsumi feels really attached to Kotori Itsuka and Yoshino for sharing the same age as her.
  • Natsumi's magic allows her to transform objects into whatever she desires. She can turn dangerous explosives into comical items and transform a person's body in order to remove injuries, although she admits this is just temporary and the person would still need medical aid. Both Hermione Granger and Minerva McGonagall find this power fascinating and think it must be an exotic form of Transfiguration.
  • Intimidated by the beauty of the Dark Magician Girl, to the point she mostly uses her adult form to talk to her. Fortunately, the Dark Magician Girl has been nothing but supportive for Natsumi in her attempts to become accepted in her true form. Natsumi also became friends with Betty Suarez, who had to endure countless insults in her work at a fashion magazine. She even offered to use her powers to enhance Betty's attractiveness, but Betty declined, because she never felt any need to change any part of herself. She loved herself, exactly as she was.
  • Supports Nine the Phantom on her path to redemption. At least Nine did what she did because she wanted to protect her sister, Natsumi attempted to ruin Shido's life just to secure her own loneliness. Nine, on her part, understands where Natsumi is coming from and urges her not to do the same mistakes she did.
  • Enemies with Isaac Westcott, as it was under his orders that Ellen Mira Mathers tried to kill her. Not too fond of Voldemort, either, as he says Natsumi's powers as a key to regaining his beautiful looks. He may hate looking like his Muggle father, but he does admit that obtaining Natsumi's powers could be useful in gathering more followers. She also tries to put as much distance from the Evil Queen as she is able, seeing the Evil Queen as the person she would have become had Shido not saved her. She also hates Mother Gothel for stealing Rapunzel from her parents and keeping her Locked inside a tower, bringing her bad memories of the time she kidnapped Shido's friends.

As always, suggestions are welcome.

Just at least an ally for Khint and I think I'm set.

"We have a contract. You'll get your money's worth."

Ciggma Khint, God of Spell Blades (The Spell Fencer, Ikuma Naerik)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bdpb_spell_fencer.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His sword
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Spell Blade, Magic Knight, Nothing Personal, Perpetual Frowner, Professional Killer, Significant Anagram, Badass Baritone, Can Imbue His Blade With Silence As Well As Poison And Death, Only in It for the Money, Leaving When Things Go Sour For His Client Unless The Payment Is Exorbitant Enough, Technically Fulfilled His Goals: Paying For His Ill Daughter's Treatments, In Hiding In The Sequel
  • Domain(s): Spell Blade, Mercenary, Money
  • High Priest: Fayt
  • Allies:
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies: Airy, Ouroboros
  • Additional Relationships: The Heroes of Luxendarc (sans Yew and Magnolia)
  • Dislikes: Talkative types
  • The Heroes of Luxendarc first encountered Ciggma Khint while he was under the employ of the K&P Merchantry in Ancheim. Twice he fought them alongside the Jackal and Erutus Profiteur separately before eventually ditching them when they started losing. His final bout with them in the first loop was alongside Eloch Quentis Khamer VIII, the then-ruler of Ancheim. Having been paid the entire treasury for his contract, Khint fought Tiz and company to the bitter end.
    • Prior to that, even before he claimed the Spell Fencer Asterisk, he served in the Eternian Duchy as a squadron commander, with Holly Whyte—who would eventually hold the White Mage Asterisk—as one of the members of the unit under his command. She and Einheria Venus—eventual holder of the Valkyrie Asterisk, and someone Edea Lee looked up to—viewed him in high regard.
  • Currently in hiding during the events of the Glanz Empire's attack, he was approached by a Pantheon envoy and invited. For reasons only he knows, he took the offer, and was eventually ascended as a deity.
  • He doesn't hold his defeat to Tiz and company against them; that's just part of the mercenary life. And he had ultimately got what he wanted by the end.
  • As part of his position, he's been granted the abilities of his Spell Fencer Asterisk, which he heard was now in the Treasury.
  • He used to have exorbitant surcharges to likely help compensate his sick daughter should he end up dying, which is what happened to him before the Adventurer saved him (and many others Tiz and company defeated) from the brink. Since Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon, Khint was required to reassess his fee system before joining the market again for contracts.
  • Many mercenaries look down on Khint for his dynamic contract fee; they deem it unprofessional to back out on a client when a price is agreed on.
  • As someone who turned to a life of crime to pay for illness treatment, Khint sort of understands Walter White's motivations when the drug lord hired him one time. Though for White's it's his own while for Khint's it's his daughter's. That said, given White's occasional bouts of ego, which can lead to recklessness, as well as how he treats his allies, Khint keeps their relationship professional, and is always ready to leave should things get too dicey.
  • "My contract ends here. I'll take my leave."

Born, God of Railroaded Player Characters Taking Blame

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nihilumbra_born.png
  • Lesser Deity
  • Symbol: Itself
  • Theme Song: Dream
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Living Shadow, Dark Is Not Evil, Scarecrow-Shaped, Blamed for Being Railroaded, Can Survive Lava Heat, Nice Job Breaking It, Hero, What the Hell, Hero?, The Anti-Nihilist
  • Domain(s): Void, Colors, Discovery, Change
  • Herald: The Void from whence it came
  • High Priest: the tresure hunter from Infidel
  • Followers: John, the boy from Seedling, the Nameless Hero, Ark,
  • Allies: Luke, ROB
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies: Manus, Tabuu
  • Admired by: The Grand United Alliance of Destruction (of which Born doesn't reciprocate)
  • Target of Interest of: Xemnas
  • Opposed by: All indiscriminate darkness-haters like Nier
  • Born is a shadow entity, erm, born from the Void. Gaining sentience, he left the void to explore, gaining powers and learning of his own purpose in life. It also had to escape from the Void, which wished to be whole, and thus desired to reclaim Born. After five whole areas of running from the void, inadvertently dooming the areas he's been to during his flight, Born decided to eventually stop running. However, because his experiences have filled him, Born has changed a lot, and so the Void decided to finally leave him be. That said, he still had to remove the Void from the places it consumed during its chase. But he eventually managed to do it.
  • Sometime after that, he was met by an envoy from a place called the Trope Pantheons and invited to stay there. Without the Void hounding his trail anymore, despite not having actually met any other sentient entity before now, Born accepted the offer, and that's how he became a Pantheon deity.
  • While it's implied he can take on any form he likes, but just never had a reason to, Born takes the vague shape of a scarecrow, but around two feet shorter.
  • With his color powers, Born can change the color of certain surfaces/solids (and not midair), changing their properties, though only a limited amount can be placed at a time. They can also be removed by lava, though it's not known if other fluids can do the same.
    • Light Blue works like Frictionless Ice. Born runs faster on it. Heavy objects on it can he moved with comparative ease as well.
    • Green allows for bouncing of projectiles or oneself, but never when one is starting off from it.
    • Brown hampers movement, but also masks noise from underground dwellers and counters any form of suction nearby. It also allows Born to stick to a wall and jump off it if the wall is brown.
    • Red burns and destroys those that stay on it for too long, and serves as Born's only means of attack. He can survive it for a short time, alleviated by constantly jumping off of it, but even that is a temporary measure and Born will need to rest elsewhere lest he burn up, too. It can also enrage fireflies to emitting more light, and agitate mounted guns to firing faster.
    • Yellow generates electricity and can be used to temporarily connect power generators to appliances.
  • Given his fragile body, he has a respawn system just like Viridian.
  • There are those who dislike Born due to the destruction wrought from his flight from the Void, but there are those who give justification to his actions, stating that as a recently-born entity, he had no sense of morality, only a will to live. And ultimately, he set things right after the Void was convinced to leave him alone and righted the wrong he did by somehow getting the Void to bring back the worlds it consumed trying to reclaim Born.
    • This is also why Born opposes those who consciously desire oblivion of all life,
  • For some reason, Born finds an unexplainable connection with Cpt. Martin Walker, who's also undergone a journey wrought with disaster that went beyond his control, and took blame for it (as well as the "player controlling them").
  • The Inklings aren't quite sure what would happen if they're playing Turf War with Born in the area. Given his power to place colors, he has the potential to mess up their game depending on what colors they're currently taking on.
  • As a being from the Void, Xemnas holds interest in Born. So does Tabuu. Born doesn't like their attention.
  • When Count Bleck heard of Born's tale, he was reminded of the time he tried to end all of existance through the void, only Born was ending things just by existing because the Void wanted to reclaim him. At least the Void from whence Born came from eventually left him be.
  • Chell once crossed paths with Born while he was painting some area green. It reminds her of some Aperture Science goo that she's had to go through before.

[up] TLDR: They might be changed to Elite Mooks because Armies Are Evil is not a good trope for a secretive group like the black ops.

They are closer to Doom Troops than an all-out army and i would prefer an actual army to get the trope instead of just some special force.

@ Whirl: Well I know for something that was there almost since the start of the pantheon Exalted is pretty obscure among the current pantheon community. Or really since I started way back in 2014/2015. Hey Whirl, I found out a long time ago you wanted to give The Crime Syndicate of Amerika Mirror Universe. If anyone wants to use that trope, do you want to use an example in people, or an example as in a place? I've been thinking about the two best examples for the trope-either the CSA(they showcased the trope well before the Trope Namer) or the Terran Empire from Star Trek(the more famous organization and Trope Namer, but not the first mainstream example)

[up][up] Yes, but I'm trying to decide based off other people's thoughts which is the superior idea. I also have a rework in mind. Not out of bias, but because I think it fits this better

  • Shuckle: I would like to rework this lacking profile, but under the trope of Armored But Frail. Why do I think Shuckle fits this trope? It's true that Shuckle has the highest defense(tied with Mega Aggron) and the highest special defense of any Pokemon. However the Pokemon suffers from having an abysmal HP stat, the worst of any fully evolved Pokemon except for Shedinja

Is Hates Wearing Dresses occupied? If so, who has it?

[down]Kaoru Matsubara, aka Powered Buttercup.

Pretty much due to the fact that she is a Tomboy Magical Girl, and was reluctant to join along with Momoko and Miyako since the PPGZ outfit had a skirt.

There are also neat little tidbits we could throw in in the Pantheon-verse regarding relations to other hammer-wielding characters, magical girls, and the original PPGs.

Any sexual harassers?

Gudako, God of Publisher Mocking (The Nameless Master, Beast VII)

  • Opposed by: The Servants
  • Enemy: Master of Chaldea, Paul Bunyan, Goetia
  • A very unstable girl who was assigned as a Master of Chaldea, but rather than actually saving the world, she decide to spent time gambling away to get Servants that she'll never get and harass those that she did get for her own amusement. Apparently, this is all humanity depends on.
  • Gudako emerges from the depths of the phone containing an app for Fate/Grand Order and now wants to cause havoc. One problem... she doesn't have her Servants with her, and nobody wants to make a contract with her because they find her creepy. At best, Artoria, Jeanne, Altera, and Elizabeth Bathory find her pitiable to hang out with except the part about Gudako making fun of Altria.
  • For some reason, she is incredibly uninterested on Astolfo. Maybe because there was someone like her named Gudao who has a massive hard-on Astolfo.
  • Gudako is... obsessed with servants. But because of her terrible luck, she never get what she wants from the gacha. It was so terrible that she tried to create her servant made of udon dough and Grail Mud, one that has the power of the creator god without actually being a Divine Spirit to avoid dealing with the summoning issue and loss of power. However, when she found out that "Paul Bunyan" has the power of a 1-star servant, she abandons it until Bunyan was founded and contracted with the Master of Chaldea. The Master does not respect Gudako's obsession for rarity rather than the strength of the servants themself.
  • Many of the Masters in the Pantheon are very skeptical of Gudako's status because of how unprofessional and uncaring of her servants, even by some standards of Masters.
  • Because she often sexually harasses many of her female associates, many of the women are very distant toward her, especially with the servants.

Hello, I was just browsing the Pantheon and I read a thing in Pearl's section of Social and Recreational Work that I wanted to double-check (I don't know if it's also in the other CG's sections):

"One incident everybody doesn't want to mention is when the Crystal Gems first learned of 'inert' gem-based jewelry (which doesn't exist in the Earth they live in). Let's just say they reacted violently, several deities ended up having to be revived in the House of Life and Death, Rarity and other "gem-workers" in particular had to get "very dirty", and leave it at that."

There's an official Q&A on Twitter (from Matt Burnett) a Reddit user compiled that says this:

Q: I have a BURNING question, do gems hate jewelry? Cause most necklace Irl have .... Gems stuff
A: I don't think they hate it, they just think it's weird, like most human customs.

Since the last time I tried to do something in the Pantheon was against the rules, I don't want to step on anyone's toes and just edit that out, so I thought I'd just bring it up here and see if anyone else thought it should be revised.

[up]Sure. Go ahead and remove it. That bit was my doing when I first reworked the Crystal Gems.

[up][up]I thought I read somewhere that jewelry doesn't exist at all in the SU-verse. Anyway, if that text goes against established canon, then yeah, feel free to remove it.

I want to talk about Penelope's profile (plus one other thing).

First, has she, in the Sly Cooper games, been sleeping around / getting into relationships like they're going out of style, as her profile says she she's doing in the Pantheon?

Second, are we sure it's a good idea to be applying things like Heartless and Personae to characters who don't canonically have them? For example, Penelope's Heartless and Marlin either having or being in line to have a Persona.

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.
