Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • To be honest, I'm not even sure why Voltes V, an anime that ended in 1978, is in Hype Prevention Sandbox because of its Foreign Remake (which is not likely to be a sequel to the anime at all). So, my only guess was that you are going to include its Filipino pilot counterparts in the profile (which I'm fine with).
  • I'm giving a [tup] to give all three Robot Romance Trilogy pilot groups Bell-Bottom-Limbed Bots for now because I feel like Mecha Show would get a better more influential candidates.

I think Unhygienix is ready to be voted on, but I would like a second opinion. Is Unhygienix ready or is there more I need to do?

Feedback please or thumbs.

  • Unhygienix is the fishmonger of Asterix's village, he sells fish from the town of Lutetia (now call the City of Paris) that have taken up to a week to arrive at best rather than get fresh fish from the sea. The length of the time it takes for the fish arrive means that they have often gone stale which leads to his fish having a habit of giving people food poisoning. When people say that the fish he is selling isn't fresh Unhygienix throws a fish at them, the person who got a fish thrown at them either throws the fish back at Unhygienix or uses the fish to hit Unhygienix. Afterwards a fight breaks out in Unhygienix's over if the fish are fresh. Regardless of arguments about "fresh" fish the Gauls remain friends.
  • Unhygienix was getting sick of his fish shop in the village getting destroyed in some the fish fights. Unhygienix learned about the Pantheon after Impedimenta mentioned about it to her friend and Unhygienix's wife Bacteria, Unhygienix decided to open a shop in the Pantheon to provide everyone with fresh fish from Lutetia/Paris. Some of the deities that don't have much knowledge about fish as well as the deities that are Extreme Omnivores were convinced to buy his fish despite the fish looking and smelling rotten. A few deities were driven away from going to Unhygienix's shop by Cacofonix's horrible singing as Cacofonix was trying to prevent them getting food poisoning. Unfortunately many of the deities that had brought fish from Unhygienix's shop were found to have been poisoned after eating the fish. There was a large panic about the source of the many increasments in Food Poisoning cases while the doctors from the House of Health and Diseases helped to heal the patients, the Hall of Detectives traced the source of the Food Poisoning back to Unhygienix's fish shop. The members of the Hall of Chefs and Establishments wanted him to be thrown out but when they tried to throw Unhygienix, Unhygienix responded by throwing his stock of fish at them and they threw the fish straight back at him. The fight got worse when Obelix decided to join in the fight because it seemed fun, Obelix defeated Unhygienix, some of the Chefs deities, some of the Establishments deities and destroyed a nearby Cabbage stall, until Mr. Champloo used his martial arts skills to send Obelix into Unhygienix's stall destroying it. The chefs asked the Court of Gods to make him the god of The Food Poisoning Incident, to prevent any more cases of food poisoning. This way deities will know that most of Unhygienix's fish are either stale or rotten. Unhygienix yelled at the court that his fish are fresh fish from Lutetia/Paris not stale or rotten fish.
  • Unhygienix's temple looks triangular wooden house with his stall out front. There is a road that has a portal at the end that let's the Ox Carts from Lutetia/Paris deliver his fish stocks after a two week journey by road. There is a nearby sea with lots of fish in, Unhygienix has his fishing boat moored to a dock nearby his temple. However Unhygienix usually only fishes in the sea for fun, he only really sells fish from the sea if he is completely out of stock of fish from Lutetia/Paris.
  • Asterix, Obelix, Cacofonix and Vitalstatistix all recognized that Unhygienix was in the Pantheon after they could smell a rotten fish smell. They were happy to see Unhygienix in the pantheon but they could all see a fight coming after Unhygienix had told them that he was selling his fresh fish. Cacofonix decided to use his bad singing to stop some deities from buying Unhygienix's stale fish. Asterix went to the House of Health and Diseases to let them know about Unhygienix's fish and Vitalstatistix tried to stop Unhygienix from poisoning deities by giving him a tour of the Pantheon. Obelix didn't care about Unhygienix selling his fish until the fight broke out then Obelix joined in the fight for fun.
  • Unhygienix hates Brutus for ordering the burning down of Unhygienix's village which threatened the lives of his family, friends and his livelihood. Caesar as thanks for Asterix and Obelix protecting his son had Unhygienix's village rebuild by his troops. Unhygienix respects Caesar as a worthy opponent like the rest of his village but dislikes him for saying that Unhygienix's fish aren't fresh. However Caesar did order a rotten fish from Unhygenix to punish Brutus by making him eat the fish as part of a meal.
  • Unhygienix dislikes the suggestions of some of the members of the House of Travel, since they have suggested that he has his fish transported to his temple by cars, planes, boats, trains or magic because he doesn't trusts any method other than Ox carts or his own boat to transport his fish. He is sometimes seen in the House of Travel discussing ways to improve the quality of his boat, the Cids suggested turning Unhygienix's boat into an airship. Unhygienix and Moana have been seen discussing ways of looking after their wooden boats and sailing techniques.
  • Unhygienix favourite clients are the house of Weapons who buy his fishes by the crate. He was somewhat shocked to see that rather than eating his fish they were using the fish as weapons. Unhygienix decided that if deities in the house wanted to use his fish as a weapon then he could just hire out his fish to them for a time, then have them return it when they had finished using it as a weapon. Unhygenix then washed the returned fish and put them back out on his stall to sell again, saying that they were fresh.
  • Beerus was one of the first deities to hear about the new fish shop in the Pantheon he decided to eat a fish that looked healthy but the fish Beerus ate gave him indigestion, furious at Unhygienix Beerus destroyed Unhygienix's stall, he was even more furious after Unhygienix threw a fish in Beerus'face in response, luckily for Unhygienix Beerus decided to leave to deal with his indigestion. After Unhygienix had rebuild his stall Fat Buu had heard from Beerus that a fishmongers had opened, so Fat Buu went to check it out when Fat Buu arrived Unhygienix offered Fat Buu a free sample of fish but because of the quality of the fish he tasted was so disgusting, Fat Buu opened his eyes and destroyed Unhygienix's stall so no one would have to taste Unhygienix's horrible tasting fish again. Unhygienix thinks that Beerus told Fat Buu about his fish shop because Beerus knew Buu would destroy it too. King Cold and Frieza were surprised that a mere fishmonger had made enemies with two of the people they knew never to challenge from there universe, King Cold decided to try and recruit Unhygienix, when he arrived at Unhygienix's he understood how Unhygienix had made enemies of Beerus and Buu and decided that it wasn't worthwhile recruiting Unhygienix the fish he sells would make King Cold's army sick.
  • Big Boss is one of the few deities who could eat his stale fish because he had an antidote ready just incase. Afterwards Big Boss asked if Unhygienix's fish could be used against enemies, Unhygienix explained that he has used fish to hit people with. Big Boss decided to test that and equipped some fish he bought from Unhygienix on a mission, he found it a double-edged sword the smell drove his enemies and allies away, any guards that could stand the smell knew that all they needed to do was shoot where the smell was coming from. Big Boss after that failure decided to see if Unhygienix's fish could be used to hide items in and if the research and development section could turn the fish into stink bombs.
  • Unhygienix runs a side business of hiring out his fishing rods and hiring out his fishing boat to any deities that would like to fish in the sea. One of his most recurring customers is Big the Cat who is trying to either find big fish or his friend Froggy. Other customers have included the Mario series deities that rent out his fishing rods to play mini-games that cause them to fish up red fish that Unhygienix has never seen before, Unhygienix has had a similar experience with Pokemon trainers deities fishing up unusual fish. Link asked Unhygienix if it was alright to use fire arrows to light up the sea when it gets dark, Unhygienix reply was to hit Link with a fish for suggesting it and Unhygienix saying "I have already had arrows on fire that destroyed my village! If you think that I am going to let anyone on boat with them you have another thing coming!", a week later Link and Unhygienix came to any agreement, as long as Link left his fire arrows at his temple he could hire Unhygienix's fishing boat.
  • Gordon Ramsey got a lot of letters from deities asking Gordon to improve Unhygienix's fish shop. Gordon realised how bad Unhygienix's fish were when he got a letter from Waylon Jones/Killer Croc calling Unhygienix's disgusting. Gordon visited Unhygienix's shop to try to teach Unhygienix the right way to store fish so it wouldn't go bad as quickly such as using a fridge and freezer. However Unhygienix was unwilling to use technology like a fridge as freezer, saying that he hasn't needed these magicial cupboards before and he won't start now. By the end of Gordon's visit, he was seen leaving saying that it is impossible to get Unhygienix to change the way he sells fish.

@lawliet-saw-whet: Not really, but you can't be too sure. And perhaps the only reference to the Filipino dub and adaptation would be of Josie Rizal (a modern Filipino) cheering them on more strongly than others, and perhaps calling them by their adaptation names (calling the Gous by their Armstrong names, for example) by mistake at least once.

Huh. Didn't know that trope (Foreign Remake) existed. That said, I don't think Voltes V Legacy would be the absolute best fit anyway.

Gilda, Goddess of Griffons (And Variations Thereof) (G, Grizelda)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gilda_vector_by_peachspices_d3jminl.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A griffon's feather
  • Theme Song: Gilda's Rage
  • Alignment: True Neutral, leaning nowadays towards Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: former discrimination toward all ponies, Half eagle, half lion, "All awesome", Prehensile Tail, Being a bully, Hurtful pranks, Tomboyishness, talking radical in her debut but not in her next appearance, broken haughtiness, Vegetarian Carnivore, actually comparatively nicer than others of her kind, decent underneath that tough demeanor, actually rather nice and shy in her youth, saving her old friend's life, Part of The Cavalry against the Legion of Doom
  • Domains: Racism, Jealousy, Pride, Smugness, Gryphons, Reformation
  • Herald: Grandpa Gruff
  • Special Envoy (as fellow alternate racial representative): Princess Skystar
  • Followers: Gryphomon, Buckbeak/Witherwings, Grimwing, the Ortho, Eyries, Gwiffons, Megalogwiffs
  • Allies: Previously none, as she had yet to find any non-ponies who "click" well with her. Later on, she would reconcile with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Oh, and Rarity is added to the list as well. Other allies include Rubeus Hagrid, due to one of her followers, The Warden, and Alistair Theirin.
  • Enemies: Roman Torchwick, Draco and Lucius Malfoy (for reasons related to Hagrid)
  • Opposed By: All equine deities and those who sympathize with them, though she's been trying to fix that.
  • When it comes to mythical beasts, right after dragons and unicorns in terms of prominence are griffons. What exactly they are in terms of appearance is the fusion of a bird of prey and some quadruped mammal, usually an eagle and lion or horse. That said, there are actually several variations. But for the representative in the Pantheon, a classical Griffon/Griffin/Gryphon will be selected.
  • The griffon named Gilda was selected out of a grab bag since not only did she fit the bill, she also had more characterization than most examples, and she's actually a griffon rather than merely having their design based on such. She first debuted visiting Rainbow Dash at Ponyville, disliking Pinkie Pie bordering on possessiveness, and being a general malicious prankster to the ponies around her that she considered dweebs (which matches Earth mythological griffons having negative attitudes towards equines). One prankster party later which she thought Pinkie arranged (it was actually Rainbow), she lashed out, showing her true colors, and eventually left the town on bad terms with her old friend, who didn't appreciate this behavior. That would not be the last time she's seen, though, since shortly after this was when she was nominated and ascended to the Pantheon to represent griffons as a whole.
  • That said, things would change as more of Equestria's story unfoldded. During a Friendship Mission to Griffonstone, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were dispatched there to see what needed doing there. And naturally they would encounter Gilda once again. However, as it turns out, compared to all the other griffons in Griffonstone (before Gabby came looking for the Cutie Mark Crusaders and before Gallus applied to the School of Friendship), who were all greedy and abrasive in general (though it might also be a case of wounded communal pride), she's actually one of the nicer ones by virtue of befriending an outsider, and held some concern for her fellow kin. Thanks to stuff that happened there (mainly an attempt to find the Idol of Boreas, and a crisis that forced her to choose between saving her old friend and her friend, or reteiving said idol with both about to fall into the abyss), Gilda managed to make amends with them, patch up their friendship, and and it became her task to spread that virtue throughout Griffonstone. Though it would take far longer for it to actually take, but at least two more griffons from there (the aforementioned Gabby and Gallus) begin to visit Equestria with far less prejudiced views.
  • During her Pantheonic debut, she had avoided all parties after Pinkie Pie's persistent attempts to get her in one. After the events of Griffonstone, though, she's been a little more receptiive to them. She's also started hanging out with Rainbow Dash again after patching things up, getting int pulling pranks, though her standards had to be raised in order to keep things from getting tense. She can also be seen selling griffon scones in her own temple or the House of Food sometimes.
  • For a time, Fluttershy had reason to be afraid while visiting the House of Beasts and Fauna due to Gilda's presence in it. Given the last time they encountered one another, the griffon had driven her to tears, this is completely understandable. While she had been told about Gilda's change of heart after the visit to Griffonstone, she's still scared around the griffon. And with Discord as one of her best friends, Gilda in turn has not found the courage to approach the pegasus pony in risk of him being around, and what he might do to her. And him showing up sometimes to participate in pranks with Pinkie (and Rainbow) means she's more and more nervous, as much as she hides it through bluster.
  • On a different note, Once, sometime after Rainbow and Pinkie's visit to Griffonstone, Gilda requested Rarity's help in designing uniforms for Griffonstone's boffyball team, and they even played together. While it was a total loss, winning one point against the team that beat them encouraged the griffon team enough for the next season, now with Rarity as a supplier for their uniforms. Gilda has not interacted with the other friends within the four's circle, Twilight Sparkle and Applejack, though one record insists that she conspired with Trixie Lulamoon to commit pranks and scams to torment the then-burgeoning Princess. The griffon denies meeting either magic-oriented horned pony in any meaningful capacity (besides the former attending the party she was in before).
  • Hagrid occasionally comes over to her temple to visit Buckbeak/Witherwings. Still trying to learn how to be nice, she often comes off as a non-romantic Tsundere whenever the giant visits. It doesn't help that his love for animals (naivety aside) reminds her of Fluttershy (whom Hagrid is naturally friends with). It's during these sessions that Gilda tries really hard to find an opportunity to just get it over with and apologize to the pegasus pony, but never could find a good time as she doesn't want to do it in front of the half-giant. By extension, she doesn't like the Malfoys due to what they did to Hagrid's own griffon.
  • Gets attacked by Roman Torchwick whenever he passes her by, and she is not happy about this. It doesn't help that he's a dangerouns criminal and has some experience with violent situations, which means getting entangled with him will never end well. Ruby Rose eventually explained to her that he had been eaten by a Griffon Grimm back in his home realm, and she had been witness to this event. Gilda could see that it finally makes sense, though of course it doesn't excuse his actions.
  • As it turns out, she's not unique in having been a former arrogant jackass. There's also Lightning McQueen and Emperor Kuzco, and several others. The race car only became a jerk after being betrayed once in his youth, the emperor was raised by his evil advisor Yzma, while her kind as a whole became jerks due to losing their treasure, the Idol of Boreas. Lightning's time in Radiator Springs mellowed him out, for Kuzco it's his time with Pacha (and the time away from him after a misunderstanding), and for Gilda it's when her old friend and her newer friend visited Griffonstone and they made amends during an attempt to retrieve the Idol.
  • Aladdin and Jake Long have also had encounters with griffons before. Both instances involved eggs, though. Gilda for her part isn't keen on elaborating on how griffon reproduction works in her world. As for her opinions on the street rat and American Dragon, she's neutral on both of them. The Warden and Alistair Theirin on the other hand expressed excitement upon seeing her in person, and the first time they met, they used their money, influence and political power to throw her a parade. It was quite overwhelming, and she lashed out a few times due to being unable to handle this sudden fame, but they've dealt with worse and were patient with her until she cooled down. In comparison to the Grey Wardens who view griffons as steeds or servants, Alistair and the Warden see them as full blown partners, and have bemoaned that they're extinct in their world.
  • Was concerned when the Storm King attacked Equestria. Some guess she was worried about Rainbow and Pinkie, but she just claims her worry was for Griffonstone, which was still in no shape to hold off an invasion. And given its sorry state, one couldn't refute that statement. That doesn't necessarily mean the other theory isn't true, though.
  • Eventually, she got the opportunity for the apology to Fluttershy after another attack from Roman and his Hired Guns crippled her wingsnote  and she required immediate medical attention. At the time, Fluttershy was the only one in the area available to tend to her, and the griffon took the chance to say sorry for her behavior all those years ago. During the confession, after seeing the Pegasus ward off an opportunistic goon with the Stare, the griffon realized this was the right decision and that getting that treatment would've been a very bad idea. By the end of the day, while not the best of friends, Rainbow is now able to hang with both of them without things getting difficult. Since then, she's had more comfortable visits with Hagrid and appreciated his company more.

Leonard, God of Idiot Heroes (Wizel the White Knight, Shit-For-Brains, Dumbass)

  • Respected by/Respects:
  • Pitied by: The Bard
  • Opposed by/Opposes:
  • Conflicting Opinion:
  • When it comes to selecting a deity to represent Idiot Hero, the criteria for who to pick above all others is a bit of an issue. To start with, what makes an ideal pick for the trope? The frequency of their idiocy? Or the severity of the consequences of their idiocy? Well, this... person embodies both of these.
  • Leonard was a young man employed at Rapacci's Wines in Balandor. Though he is an orphan, he has grown up into an upright and very positive fellow. He approaches his job with the same enthusiasm (a lot) and attention to detail (very little) as he does everything else. One day during Princess Cisna's coronation and diplomatic talks between Balandor and Faria, Leonard was tasked with delivering a large supply of wine for the party at the castle, and to head to their warehouse at Parma Village to pick it up with the rented beastwain. Somehow, despite getting there in a few minutes, it took until the afternoon to get the delivery ready, and it became nighttime by the time they arrived. It would a prelude not only of the game's shortcomings, but of Leonard's achievements as a whole.
    • Somehow, the delivery was still surprisingly successful (thanks in part to incompetent security), and then Leonard decides to go off the rails and take a sneak peek inside the castle (and thanks to Plot Contrivance do not get caught at any point), forcing his friends to follow him. They manage to sneak into the ball and watch the goings-on, and then Leonard remembers the Princess, whom he had met ten years ago, and has an incredible one-sided crush on her. That's also when Belcitane's forces (plus Shapur) stage an attack that ends with both Balandor's king and Faria's archduke dead, and Leonard came to Cisna's rescue in the middle of the chaos while his friends were busy getting involved with the rest of the violence. They escape to the cellars, and find catacombs of an ancient fortress underneath the castle, and a treasure vault holding a secret ancient weapon called an Incorruptus called the White Knight, and its corresponding Ark. When the enemy siege unit Pyredaemos caught up to them, Leonard decides to take up the Ark (with Cisna inadvertently activating it), ends up triggering its security Phantom, and somehow deemed himself worthy to it (It's later revealed that Leonard is one of five infants-in-stasis found in the Dogma Rift, the others being Ceasar, Kara, Setti, and Yulie, and had his soul bound to the White Knight 10,000 years ago, where he was found next to, so it was never a matter of worth), and became able to transform into the White Knight.
    • But even as he defeats Pyredaemos, Cisna ends up kidnapped anyway as the bad guys escape with her. Leonard is then given a mission by the remaining survivors of the nobility to rescue her and stop the Magi, the responsible party, and it will take him all over the known world with his friends and a wandering swordsman named Eldore who has a hand in orchestrating things, but wasn't the only one. But the failures he would achieve as a result of his idiocy would be astounding, not helped by the fact that almost everybody in the setting is a moron at some level, just not to Leonard's extent. How bad exactly? There are two comprehensive lists so long that they're hidden in labelnotes so as not to completely spoil you on what they are. First game events  Second game events
  • Due to all the flak he was sure to get, Leonard's ascension was done quietly and he was given a spot in the Pantheon right away. If there's anything he actually learned after everything he's been through, it's that he's now cognizant of the fact that he was a screw-up and that he's an idiot. He was also surprised to see his Ark available once again, given its power was drained after Medoras awakened and possessed him. That said, he doesn't want to take it up again, not after everything he's done. There's also the fact that a pactmaker lends their soul to their Knight to power them. Except the souls meant to power the Knights are suppoed to be those of infants to ensure loyalty to the Ancients that made them, and so they can fight autonomously after gaining enough battle experience; intelligence is not actually required for the Knights to operate (and Leonard barely has any to even start with).note  At least in the Pantheon, there are actually decently smart people who would not have the patience for Leonard's stupidity and would work quick in reining it in.
    • There's also the fact that out of all the other Incorruptus, the White Knight seems to have a direct effect on his body, and holds a secret none of the others do; an evil presence biding its time for some nefarious purpose. And when that time came in the form of five Knights coming together, which the cast was explicitly warned NOT to do, all their essences merged into Wizel, and Emperor Madoras awakened. He was only stopped thanks to the others, mainly the custom-made Player Character's own (Artificial) Knight. At least Madoras isn't in this version of Leonard's Ark anymore.
    • Additionally, if someone else tries to claim mastery of his Ark while he's still alive, as Shapur tried to do with Kara, it results in an unstable souped up abomination, and ownership can actually transfer to the other person once the abomination is beaten. Given what the White Knight can do, and given how poorly Leonard has used its power, there are those who wish to repeat this process, even some unscrupulous heroes who think he isn't worthy (and they wouldn't be exactly wrong). The only reason (insert Name Here) isn't among them no matter their moral spectrum is because they already have a Knight of their own, and it's not directly tied to Madoras’ power..
  • The only thing the White Knight grants Leonard is a giant form, a giant sword for slashing and stabbing, a giant shield for blocking (plus rendering nearby allies invulnerable as well) and bashing, Relic Arts for boosting defense, Artifacts for other boosts, various stat-augmenting accessories, various accessories that buff the party (exc. Leonard himself) after he transforms, immunity to poison, paralysis, sleep, and silence, some energy-charged strikes, and that's it. At least support spells still work, status ailments can still be cured, and one can still replenish its HP and MP just like any organic being. That said, he's pretty susceptible to being knocked down, has less overall mana and lower defense than on-foot characters, and often does less DPS than on-foot characters of the same relative power level. And thus the only remaining advantages are more vitality and hitting higher or giant targets.
  • Of course, the Knight isn't the only method Leonard has in terms of combat. He has rudimentary experience with the sword and shield (which the Knight also hold preoficiency at) (and can learn other weapons except staffs and spears), and has basic healing spells for curing Poison, Sleep, and Bind, and injuries (if he even remembers to cast them). That said, magic in his world takes long to cast and leaves the caster vulnerable to attack and getting interrupted. Sitting down restores his health, and assuming a position of prayer replenishes his mana, and they do so stupid fast. Byleth is astounded he hasn't reached A or S rank with the sword yet, though it should be noted that his idiocy seems to just not apply to general combat most of the time, though he certainly needs to be reminded to transform if he has to.
  • Infamously, he's known for being the only protagonist who becomes his own story's Final Boss, which just doesn't happen anywhere else (excpet probably Xenosaga Episode III). And Leonard's still worse that other example there because 1) she wasn’t an actual hostile enemy, just a support character for the villain in question, 2) she was only a part of the penultimate boss battle, not the final boss battle, and 3) she turned good again in time to face the actual final boss of the game.
  • His instances of idiocy are far and wide (he lacks competence, sympathy, and proactivity), but what is considered his biggest one is the boss fight against Brimmflamme and the Black Knight, which transcends Cutscene Incompetence and bleeds all the way to "Gameplay Incompetence"; forcing the player to put up with Leonard's idiocy in one of the toughest fights ever, and what makes him irredeemable to those who haven't already given up on following his story. To be specific, after having been benched for much of the game due to a plot-related illness, he foists himself into the fray even after being explicitly told not to go. Not only does he not get any new gear; he's still on the same strength level that he left in while everyone else has already eclipsed him in terms of strength, and were already struggling before he arrived. What wouold've been a Big Damn Heroes moment instead ends with him being a major liabilty.
  • As stated before, he has no sense of time. He once promised a delivery at noon to be done by sunset, but by the time he makes it to his destination, it was already midnight! Killing other sapient beings that are more than mindless monsters doesn't register in his mind, and the less intelligent ones seem to have a tendency to go berserk in the his presence. And throughout his entire fist half of his adventure, he was obsessed with rescuing Cisna over all else, who probably doesn't return his feelings in that way. The two of them (well, him and Cisna as a holographic projection) even had a romantic scene in a lake just like how Tidus and Yuna have done, presumably all in Leonard's head. Someone even doctored a recording of that dance with the latter's music.
  • Those who have acquainted with Leonard have reported him to be worse than Snow Villiers, and even Lann and Reynn. And after having been shown the White Knight Chronicles, they can absolutely concur. The Bard shows pity for Leonard given he had also willingly jumped up to save the world, though his love was wider in scope compared to Leonard's Cisna-centric focus. And even he finds it embarrassing that the White Knight accomplished so much less despite having more to use than the Bard ever did, who got by with only charisma and optimism.

  • His White Knight form is reported to resemble Gallantmon, though nowhere near as cool. Leonard himself has also confused Beelzemon for Kara's/Shapur's Black Knight once, and Zechs Merquise's Epyon Gundam for Ceasar's Dragon Knight. In return, some have taken notice of the White Knight and reported that its design gave off Lich King vibes. And given that he gets himself brainwashed into the Final Boss, it brings forth bad signs. Sure, Leonard can never be that again, but given how much of an idiot he is and just how many others have died due to his actions (and lack thereof)…
  • At first, one would think Leonard isn't quite as bad as Nowe, since he has the excuse of being a simple wine merchant before all this, and Nowe was a knight for several years but still acted like he was born yesterday. Leonard also just had the player screaming at him to do pay heed to obvious things, while Nowe had characters in-game scream at him to pay heed to obvious things. But both have lots in common: both are gullible as hell and become enamored with some chick they've barely conversed with, putting the girl above all other priorities, including innocent lives. Ultimately however, Leonard is actually better than Nowe in terms of screw-ups, though both are still awful, but Nowe is still better as a character. But when it's discovered just how Leonard ended up becoming the Final Boss, the verdict changed to Leonard being much worse than Nowe in terms of screw-ups.
  • Given that Leonard turns out to be a magical foundling from another world/era raised by a gruff and strict demihuman and harbors a tremendous world-ending power inside them but is raised to be a "good" person instead, he's actually like Zidane in that regard. Given what kind of person Leonard is, the tailed humanoid is really embarrassed by this comparison.

First draft for Lt. Jimmy Patterson. Currently finishing his backstory, and will be working on his in-Pantheon lore soon.

"Human civilization has always known conflict. But it wasn't until the 20th century that the scope magnified to such a bloody scale as to engulf the entire world. In the aftermath of the War To End All Wars, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party fanned the flames of a broken and dispirited nation, rebuilding the country from the ashes of the Versailles Treaty into a fascist juggernaut that seemed unstoppable. They pushed all the way to the Atlantic in their blitzkrieg, with England their next target. But Winston Churchill and his small island nation won the Battle of Britain, holding out through Hitler's terror-bombing for an entire year. They stoked the fires of freedom long enough to stay alive and save the world. After Pearl Harbor, the United States, with all its military and industrial muscle entered the war. First Africa, then Italy, then finally, Fortress Europe itself. You soldier, are a part of this great crusade. Are you ready to rise above and beyond the call of duty?"

  • Medal of Honor (1999), developed by Dreamworks Interactive and published by Electronic Arts for the Playstation 1, was released on October 31st, 1999 to critical and commercial acclaim. One of Steven Spielberg's most notable creations, this game would spawn several sequels, as well as a Continuity Reboot set in more modern times. It would also popularize World War II shooters and Military and Warfare Video Games in general, setting the standard for and making major influences to other franchises in the same genre down the line. The game's protagonist, Lt. Jimmy Patterson, would also become an icon of both this franchise, as well as for Works Set in World War II in general. This is his story...
  • Born on November 11, 1919, Armistice Day, and the 1st anniversary of the end of the Great War, in Carthage, Missouri, James Steven Patterson was noted to be academically and athletically gifted in his youth, even joining a country club to hone his athletic skills. In college, he would study in the University of Michigan, where he excelled in all of his subjects except German language studies. After graduating, Patterson, to his family's shock, decided to enter West Point rather than Harvard, where he in turn graduated third in his class. He would then go through Officer Candidate School at the age of 22, finishing with high marksmanship scores and qualifications for demolitions, Morse code, the ability to repair the R-1830 engine, and basic conversational German. Upon finishing the course as a Lieutenant, Patterson would volunteer for the United States Army Air Corps.
  • Initially, the Lieutenant would serve as a humble transport pilot in the United States Army Air Forces. At one point, he would carry out a special mission. On November 5, 1942, just before the start of Operation Torch, Patterson, flying a Northrop Alpha transport plane, landed in an airfield in Morocco and rescued an OSS agent slash French Resistance leader named Manon Batiste. Two years later, on June 6th, 1944, his C-47 transport aircraft was shot down over Normandy, France. Crash landing his plane in French farmland, Patterson, grabbing a Browning Automatic Rifle despite being nearly unconscious, was able to save his fellow crew members from being killed or captured by German Forces, killing a half dozen of the latter in the process. Fortunately for Patterson and his men, they were eventually found by the members of the French Resistance, who promptly helped them escape France via a fishing trawler. Eventually, the trawler managed to come across the Allied invasion armada, with Patterson and his men being taken aboard the USS Thomas Jefferson, a transport ship carrying soldiers from the US 2nd Ranger Battalion.
    • Despite surviving this harrowing ordeal, and being nominated for the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions, Patterson decided that he would help the Rangers accomplish their mission out of a sense of duty and a chance to finally see real combat. Landing at Omaha Beach, Patterson was able to save several Rangers who were Pinned Down by German machine gun and artillery fire, eventually rallying enough soldiers and a few combat engineers to break through the barbed wire via Bangalore Torpedoes. Being lucky enough to survive the hail of machine gun fire, Patterson made his way into the nearest German trench, and took out four MG42 nests using a captured example. This gave the Rangers enough leeway to reorganize themselves, with the Ranger Captain accompanying them ordering Patterson to clear out the bunkers overlooking the beach. Patterson would ultimately succeed in this task, clearing out an entire bunker of German infantrymen, disabling their communications, and taking out any remaining machine gun nests in the area.
  • Following D-Day, Patterson's actions during both the paratrooper landings and at Omaha Beach would immediately be noticed by Col. Stanley Hargrove of the OSS, who saw the Lieutenant as being a possible candidate for recruitment into the organization. Hargrove's idea was further reinforced when the Colonel found out out about his academic and athletic achievements in college, as well as his excellent marksmanship skills and specialization in various fields from his time in the Officer Candidate School. Hargrove himself then gave Patterson an important choice during a briefing, join the OSS and become one of their agents carrying out dangerous missions across Nazi-occupied Europe, or go back to his old unit and forget that he ever had that conversation with Hargrove. Obviously, Patterson Jumped at the Call.
    • He then immediately boarded a transport plane bound for Normandy to carry out his first ever mission for the OSS: to rescue a downed G3 officer whose plane was shot down by the Germans, and is being held captive by the Gestapo. Dropping into France once more, Patterson was briefed on the details of his mission by Manon Batiste, who now served as his Mission Control in the field. Ultimately, Patterson was unable to rescue the G3 Officer, who had died due to the injuries he had sustained in the crash. The Lieutenant, however, was able to recover pilot Lt. Joe Baylor's logbook, the Officer's attache Case, kill several Gestapo officers, destroy a German radio transmitter, and escape with Allied weapons that the French Resistance had hidden away.
  • Following this successful first mission, Patterson would continue to be deployed to various other parts of Europe, taking part in further actions in both France and Germany. These included the destruction of a Krupp K-5 Railway Cannon known as "Greta", and the sinking of the advanced U-boat prototypes U-4901 and U-4902. Amongst the many methods of infiltration that Patterson had mastered included posing as a German officer by wearing their uniforms and using stolen Identification papers, a method that fooled even German officers on occasion.
    • By far, however, Patterson's most important mission around this time would be during Operation Market-Garden. Patterson would be tasked with assisting the 82nd Airborne's pathfinders in destroying German tanks and artillery near their objectives, as well as helping the Dutch Resistance by rescuing one of their agents, who had managed to steal vital German intel, from Waffen-SS captivity. Patterson, disguised as both a German officer and then as a waiter, was able to successfully make it to the Dorne Manor and rescue Gerritt, the Dutch Resistance agent in question. As it turned out, Gerritt's intel had revealed plans for the deployment of a new German jet fighter prototype scheduled for mass production by the Gotha aircraft company. It also revealed that the project was personally funded and supervised by SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Baron Rudolf von Sturmgeist, an officer in the Waffen-SS that Patterson had previously encountered in France. However, thanks to Operation Market-Garden suffering from a series of setbacks, Patterson would be forced to head to Arnhem, the site of the British 1st Airborne Division's landing, on foot alone from the 82nd Airborne's area of operations at Nijmegen.
    • Due to Operation Market-Garden going From Bad to Worse for the Allies, Patterson was also ordered to help the 82nd and 1st Airborne along the way, helping the former clear out German patrols and demolition charges on and near the Nijmegen Bridge, seizing a German supply truck containing medical supplies for the British in the process. At Arnhem, Patterson would give the British paratroopers some much needed relief, first by successfully delivering them the aforementioned supplies, then clearing out German checkpoints and roadblocks in the suburbs of Arnhem. And finally, after meeting up with British Master Sergeant Kelso, Patterson would fight alongside the British Paras and help them take out a large attacking force of Waffen-SS Panzergrenadiers and their tank support besieging their positions, allowing Kelso and his men to retreat and live to fight another day. With his initial missions accomplished, Patterson was able to meet with a Dutch OSS contact, who promptly got him to the German city of Emmerich on the Dutch-German border. There, Sturgmeist was preparing to depart for Gotha on his personal armored train.
    • Upon arriving at Emmerich, Jimmy once again disguised himself as an SS officer complete with stolen ID papers, managing to slip into Emmerich Train Station as the city was about to bombed by the Royal Air Force. Despite a few setbacks, namely getting his cover blown in the station, and the RAF bombing of the city starting ahead of schedule, Patterson was able to fight his way onto the platform where Sturmgeist's train was, and successfully boarded the last car. What ensued afterward was an epic train battle, with Patterson killing all of Sturmgeist's bodyguards as well as an accompanying armored train on a nearby track. Unfortunately for Patterson, Sturmgeist himself managed to get away, by detaching his personal train car from the locomotive, with the SS officer jumping onto the latter and speeding away. Fortunately for Patterson, he wasn't actually too far from Gotha, having ended up in Friedrichroda, an industrial town four miles from Gotha. Fighting his way through the SS garrison deployed there, the OSS agent was able to commandeer a German railcar, and make his way directly to the Gotha facility at the end of the tracks.
    • Making it into the Gotha facility, Patterson immediately got to work. Managing to procure American weapons like the Browning Automatic Rifle and M9 Bazooka thanks to the Germans studying captured examples, Patterson began wreaking havoc, killing any German guards and scientists he encountered. In addition, the Lieutenant was also charged with photographing the Germans' advanced weapon plans, stealing the Ho.IX's schematics, and destroying a prototype engine. Fighting his way through a section of the facility located in an Abandoned Mine, Patterson made it to the Gotha Facility's airfield, where Sturmgeist and his men were guarding the Ho.IX Prototype, hoping to eventually move it to a new location and kill Patterson in the process. Deciding to end it here and now, the OSS agent called in Allied bombers on the facility's exact location, and destroyed the facility's radar towers to blind their Anti-Air guns. Making his way to the Ho.IX hangar, Patterson fought and killed every single SS soldier attempting to stop and kill him. Ultimately, with his last few men, Sturmgeist made a Last Villain Stand, personally confronting Patterson with a StG44 assault rifle. Despite proving to be a formidable opponent, Patterson ultimately prevailed, killing Sturmgeist. Being a pilot himself, Patterson took the Ho.IX prototype on the joyride of a liftime, escaping as the Gotha facility was being bombed by the USAAF. On his way back to England, he was escorted by two USAAF P-38 Lightning fighters.
  • Whilst his mission at Gotha was a resounding success, Operation Market-Garden had become a complete failure, with the Germans overwhelming the British at Arnhem and forcing the 1st Airborne to retreat. The war itself would continue on for the time being. Because of this, Patterson would be given further missions by Col. Hargrove, mainly to stop several other Nazi advanced weapons or Secret Weapons projects being developed concurrently as the Ho.IX. These included: mustard gas production at Fort Schmerzen on the Siegfried Line, Atomic Bomb research and Heavy Water Production in Norway, and Vengeance Weapons Production at Nordhausen, Germany. The one exception to this rule would be his deployment to an Abandoned Mine in Austria, which housed hundreds of priceless artwork that the Nazis had pillaged across Europe.

Should I put Unhygienix in the hall of Consumption when I ascend him?

I think Gilda's title should stay as "Goddess of Griffons". The extra part looks cumbersome.

@nightelf37, I said that the Grey Wardens viewed them, not as steeds or servants, but as allies and equal partners. Alistair and The Warden are excited because they were long extent by the time they were born.

As for Leonard. Since he's an Idiot Hero who can be exploited by villains to do their dirty work them, villains like Ganondorf, Griffith, Hades (Kid Icarus), Malefor can try to use him to either further their plans or hinder their enemy. On the flip side if Leonard is as self aware of how much of a screw up he is, and if others are also aware, the more crafty and cunning heroes could try to use this to their advantage in getting one over on their enemies.

[tup] for Unhygienix.

I still need 2 [tup]s for Emma. In the meanwhile, here's a suggestion batch.

  • Vincent Freeman from Gattaca for Borrowed Biometric Bypass: Vincent lives in a future where everybody's ID's are connected to their DNA. Most people are also born through a Designer Babies process, while natural, uncontrolled conception has become discouraged. Vincent was conceived naturally and inherited some bad genetic maladies, which places him low in the society's totem pole, but he dreams of becoming an astronaut, so he takes on a Born Winner's identity in order to achieve his dream. Because one's identity is tied to their DNA, Vincent basically makes prolonged use of a Borrowed Biometric Bypass.
  • Thomas from Blowup for Convenient Photograph: Thomas is a photographer living in the Swinging London of the 1960s. The movie is essentially about how he feels alienated from everyone and everything and the weird things he does to fill his emotional hollow. The most famous of those things is him getting obsessed with some photos he took, which he believes to accidentally contain evidence of a murder. He then spends a lot of time manipulating the pictures, blowing sections of them up, etc., to figure out the mystery. Then the photos get stolen and the mystery goes unsolved. This inspired movies with a similar premise like Blow Out and The Conversation.
  • Hannie Caulder for Vapor Wear: Hannie goes from housewife to gunslinger out for revenge after three bandits kill her husband and rape her. Right as she starts her revenge quest, she dons her Iconic Outfit, a poncho with not much else under it (she wears pants but the top is just the poncho), like a sexualized female Man with No Name. Promotional pictures have her wearing nothing but the poncho and a holster.

Here's my suggestion batch

  • Gorr, God of Deicide (Hall of Sinners)-suggested a long time ago, but didn't seem to go anywhere. Why do I think Gorr the God-Butcher fits Kill the God? He came from the armpit of the galaxy, suffering a lot of suffering while everyone hoped the gods would intervene. They did not, and when he found a wounded god he took the Necrosword and slew him. Because of divine inactivity or callousness the God-Butcher has sworn to kill every single deity in existence. He's feared as being a Serial Killer of divinity.
  • The One Below All, Unholy Deity Of Sickly Green (Hall of Good and Evil Colors, Chaotic Evil)-The One Below All is The Anti-God of Marvel, an Almighty Idiot that is the very embodiment of evil. Immortal Hulk reveals that it is the source of mutation for Gamma mutants. It is a source and key force in gamma radiation which always has a green tinge to it. This green radiance is a mark of whenever it is present too and an "opening" called the Green Door exists under its purview

Unhygienix has joined the Pantheon in Consumption.

Unhygienix is the second deity that I have added to the Pantheon. However when I started I didn't intend to ascend two Asterix deities. I just found roles that fitted them. All that remains is to add Unhygienix to the other Asterix profiles and the Asterix index then I should be done with Asterix deities.

@wootzits: Since I have ascended Cacofonix and Unhygienix, I think that I can give you a [tup] for Emma.

@RJ [tdown] on The One Blow All. A rework with The One Above All with TOBA added on it and it’s good. No need to use a trope and profile on what’s technically already here in Pantheon.

[tup] on Gorr, [tdown] on The One Below All having its own profile (namely as having it share a profile with The One Above All through the More Than Infinite trope is a better call).
