Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I'm Done with Chameleos.

Chameleos, Dragon God of the Silly Walk (Oonazuchi, Elder Dragon of Mist, The Formless One, Invisible Thief)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chameleos_4251.png
  • Potential House: Tics
  • [tup]s:
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Its Hunter's Guild icon
  • Theme Song: Deep Forest Illusion
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Hollywood Chameleon with the walk to boot, Martial Pacifist, Lightning Bruiser and Gradual Grinder, Invisibility, Trap Master, Afflicting Poison and sometimes Defense Down and Fatigue, Overly-Long Tongue used to steal items, Smoke Out and Wind from Beneath My Wings, Tail Slap, Methodical Troll
  • Domains: Poison, Mist, Stealing, Chameleons, Dragons
  • Size: 1395.2 cm - 2633.4 cm
  • Allies: Salazzle, H'aanit
  • Indifferent to: Rango, The Chaotix
  • Rivals: Vaal Hazak, Indominus Rex, The Goliath
  • Enemies: Nergigante, Fatalis, The Invisible Man/Griffin, Cruella de Vil, Hunter J
  • Opposed by/Opposes: The Monster Hunters, The House of Fire and Heat and Electricity
  • Ever walked into a forest one day and sensed something was quite off? Ever felt a presence even in the wide-open fields of grass and great blue skies? Ever had the inkling that you are indeed being watched out there? Chances are it was probably a Chameleos, the Elder Dragon of Mist. A creature based around chameleons (if the name didn't make that clear already) and uroplatus, it's elusive nature has actually made it difficult to study in some aspects. Not just in rarity, that comes natural with monsters of its class, but also in the sheer care it takes to stay away from others. Despite this, its existence is quite well known throughout various communities.
  • As usual for the Chameleos it had entered the Pantheon without anyone really noticing until much later in its stay. It got found out when it a group of campers got way to close to its territory. Threatened by their presence, Chameleos drove them off and kicked it out of its forest though none of them were particularly gravely harmed save for a few were afflicted with some poison. As more of these cases have sprung up the Monster Hunters took it upon themselves into investigating these incidents with quite the inkling of their culprit on their minds. Sure enough, they were correct in their assumption and made a case to the Court of Gods about its existence in the Pantheon. After studying its mannerisms from various reports provided by the Hunter's Guild it was determined there that the Chameleos should represent Silly Walk for its tic of moving is quite like its namesake.
  • Though an Elder Dragon, its classification as such is more-so because it doesn't fit into any other reported category. In fact, it's usually quite non-confrontational and picks its fight with care, only turning to such ends if there's no other choice. Still, don't underestimate it. The most apparent ability to camouflage its entire body at will with barely an Invisibility Flicker to its name. And in some cases with surprising agility that shouldn't logically be possible being less so invisibility and more-so actual teleportation. In addition it can also spray a blinding mist to either hide away or to open up its enemies for surprise attacks. As far as offensive goes it can not only spray poison in liquid and gaseous forms but also substances that hamper one's defenses and drains one's stamina. But by far its most infamous biological attribute is its tongue. Like a chameleon's its long, sticky, and elastic and the Chameleos puts it to good use in stealing the items right off of its foes. All in all, its arsenal is infuriating to go up against, which is the point. Chameleos relies on such strategies in hopes that its opponents like the Monster Hunters will give up in fighting it.
  • Flavor Text was stolen.
  • Prefers its humid climates and has made its home hunting in the Pantheon's various jungles, forests, and swamps. Thus, it's been in quite a number of places in the House of Plants. Anything outside of them is a no go. And its weaknesses to fire and thunder means it especially isn't going to be anywhere near the Houses of Fire and Heat and Electricity. It also holds a good amount of caution regarding the residents of said houses along with anyone capable of exploiting its weaknesses. Sure, it isn't everything, but it'd prefer fights that are heavily stacked toward its favor rather than ones of closer calls.
  • Like all Elder Dragons (and all monsters, really) it likes neither Nergigante or Fatalis. Nergi exclusively hunts Elder Dragons. As Chameleos lies on the weaker end of the scale when it comes to Elders it will obviously not fare all that well facing against the Extinction Dragon. Luckily for it, Nergi seems to preoccupy itself with the various other Elders which may be attributed to their more rich bioenergy. Either way, its to Chameleos' favor. Fatalis, meanwhile, practically hates anything and everything that isn't it and is overall a malicious and destructive force. Enough said about that, really.
  • Flavor Text was stolen.
  • Effectively the go-to Elder Dragon associated with poison, much like how Kushala Daora is the usual go-to for wind. In Monster Hunter: World Chameleos is absent and in its place is the Corpse Coat Dragon and ruler of the Rotten Vale, Vaal Hazak. Apparently there is some vitriol between the two for that very reason, though due to the differing environments neither party has really act upon this rivalry. But while on the topic of poisons the Chameleos has done quite a lot to not lag behind its fellow monsters. To date, it's been adjusting its own diet to experiment with the difference in applied poisons. It's even taken to observing some of the gods in the House of Toxicity as a reference point, most of its attention going towards Salazzle and her ability to poison just about anything.
  • Not the only chameleon based creature in the Pantheon. It had the chance of blundering in with Rango, Espio and the rest of the Chaotix after they went on to investigate a string of stolen items piling up by the number and the investigations led to the Elder Dragon. Some stuff happened, reports tend to vary wildly from source to source, but it's generally agreed upon that the group ended up hightailing it out of there with a number of bruises while the Chameleos emerged out of the woods with a very irritable mood. Despite the encounter it doesn't hold either of the two in any malicious or hateful regard. Just, at the very worst, mild annoyance.
  • Flavor Text was stolen.
  • Despite its emphasis on keeping a low profile compared to other monsters some deities were still drawn to it anyways. Dr Griffin, known more by his alias as The Invisible Man, was interested in the extent of invisibility Chameleos has displayed and has tried to study it for himself. Unfortunately for The Sociopath, Chameleos quickly learned the game he was playing and doused his position with poison. Cruella de Vil, curious by the comments regarding the curious hide of the Chameleos, hired Hunter J to bring the Elder Dragon to her doorstep. To its favor, H'aanit along with her fellow travelers were made aware of the plot and drove off the infamous poacher before it got a chance to target it. After informing the Elder Dragon it is genuinely grateful for what she did both in defending it and giving a heads up.
    • It wasn't just humans that wanted a piece of the Mist Dragon. Both Indominus Rex and The Goliath were noted to have a special interest in Chameleos after a chance encounter with the Elder Dragon from within the wilderness, mainly for their intelligence and stealth capabilities while still being able to hold their own in the end. I. Rex in particular has shown an interest in Chameleos' ability to turn invisible though the difference being her's is more of an unconscious action rather than something that can be activated by will or command.
  • Supposedly, the Chameleos is the reason as to why the Shrouded Nerscylla swings on thin air. It just happens to pass by while the giant spider gains some ground. This can be neither confirmed nor denied though the scholars that help catalog the Monster Hunters find this theory honestly ridiculous.
  • Flavor Text was stolen.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

  • The Farmer of Stardew Valley, God of Farm Life Sims
    • Stardew Valley is exactly what the trope is about, in that the player character moved to Pelican Town and inherited his grandfather’s farm. In it, you need to harvest crop to make a living to expand your house and get new materials for exploring and those crops will help you make new products such as jams. You can also purchase animals such as cows and chickens and their own harvest can also make new products such as cheese. In each season, each crop is a product if it’s own season and you are expected to harvest the crops whatever the season it corresponds to. The crops and products you harvest will also help you expand your relationships with your fellow townspeople and they also help you heal your health bar if you ever explore to the dungeons to get minerals and defeat monsters to get their materials.

Could I update Victor Stone's profile? Probably should keep Cyborg, what with him being a clear-cut example, his superhero name is cyborg, and has dealt with the angst involving it

First rough draft for G-Force, a group of guinea pig spies that were trained (not genetically altered in any way), had to investigate a businessman for technology that could prove troubling, and their main antagonist turned out to be a member of their team (The Mole was an actual mole). Looking for suggestions on what to add.

G-Forcemembers , Divine Team of Animal Espionage

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/poster-g-force_1190.jpg
L-R: Juarez, Hurley, Blaster, Darwin
  • Lesser Deities
  • Symbol: A G inside an octagon
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Talking Animals, Band of Brothers, Translator Collars
  • Domains: Animals, Technology
  • Heralds: Ben Kendell, Mooch the Fly
  • Allies: Secret Squirrel, Perry the Platypus, Hammond
  • Enemies: Guinea Creatures
  • Odd Relations: Dr. Doofenshmirtz
  • A special team of trained guinea pigs with collars to allow them to talk to humans, the G-Force is tasked with investigating corporate executive Leonard Saber to see if he’s been plotting anything suspicious. The team undergoes a lot of trouble to discover the truth, up to and including the fact that one of their members, Speckles the mole, has been plotting revenge from behind their backs. When it comes down to it, G-Force is able to make the most of their skills despite (or maybe because of) their small size.
  • Some villainous businessmen were holding a meeting to discuss a product that would ensure they would get more supporters and drive their shared competition out of business. Some of those members didn’t realize that they were being spied on and even after looking around, the other members couldn’t find the intruders. Some time after the meeting wrapped up, all that was left was a few guinea pigs, who relayed the information over to their boss, who in turn transferred the data over to their clients so that they were aware of what the evil businessmen were trying to do to get rid of them. G-Force, with their small size and technological prowess, have since continued to help out others following their initial mission in the Pantheon.
  • It didn’t take long for G-Force to get themselves acquainted with other animal spies in the Pantheon. The team found themselves in the company of Secret Squirrel and Perry the Platypus and all of them have made for a good team when it comes to handling specific missions in the Pantheon. G-Force was intrigued with what Secret had stored in his trenchcoat and the squirrel was kind enough to allow G-Force to use some of his weaponry for missions. As for Perry, seeing as how the platypus doesn’t really talk and how G-Force is only able to talk as is thanks to translator collars, the team considered giving one to Perry, but the platypus insisted he was fine without one. It hasn’t prevented them from helping each other out when they’re in trouble though.
    • Their interactions with Secret and Perry also helped G-Force get to know Dr. Doofenshmirtz, a scientist who knew Perry very well. Doof ended up in a meeting room where Perry and the other animal spies were at and (after being a bit perplexed at seeing guinea pig spies) introduced himself to G-Force. Knowing about his former background as a mad scientist bent on taking over the Tri-State area and having moved past that, G-Force has agreed to help Perry in making sure Doofenshmirtz doesn’t end up causing more trouble than normal. This also meant having to reprimand him in case something he creates ends up going out of control.
  • One of their assignments resulted in them encountering a round mecha and after wanting to know who was inside it, Hammond popped out and from there, he and his mecha Wrecking Ball engaged in a talk with G-Force. Seeing a hamster take control of a mecha very well surprised the team considering their own expertise (and that unlike Hammond, G-Force didn’t undergo any genetic alterations to become the spies that they are) and while they would like to travel with Hammond if asked, they have plenty of missions to go after. That said, if Hammond and Wrecking Ball do end up getting involved somehow, they’re more than willing to aid G-Force and the guinea pigs are more than welcoming of another the rodent’s skills.
  • At first, G-Force was excited to learn about other guinea pigs in the Pantheon, but it quickly turned into disgust after learning the full story behind the Guinea Creatures and their leader, Guinea Pirate. Them learning about the Guinea Creatures could not have happened at a worse possible time as another Guinea Creature invasion was about to unfold and G-Force had to spring into action to prevent a major disaster from unfolding. They eventually caught up with Michael Chertoff, who was plotting revenge for his previous loss and dismissed G-Force as complete failures of a guinea creature before transforming into Guinea Pirate. With the help of some reinforcements, G-Force was able to bring down Guinea Pirate and the rest of the invasion wound down elsewhere. Knowing first hand just how destructive the Guinea Creatures and their leader can be regardless of appearances, G-Force has sworn to play a role in containing them should any future break-out result.

Starting draft for Emma.

Emma Millstein, Goddess of Bad Lies

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emma.png
Emma as she appears in Cold Steel II
Emma and Celine as they appear in Cold Steel III note
  • Potential House: Pending.
  • Rank: Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: The butterfly symbol on her Master Quartz; Titania.
  • Theme Song: Elin, the Hidden Village
  • Alignment: True Neutral initially. Neutral Good after opening up to Class VII and resolving her duties.
  • Portfolio: Bad Liar, Badass Bookworm, Magic Staff.
  • Domains: Witchcraft, Reading.
  • Heralds: All original Class VII members, Celine, Roselia.
  • Allies: Mitsuki Hokuto.
  • Rivals: Pending.
  • Enemies: The Snatcher, The Wicked Witch of the West.
  • The class president of Class VII and the top-scoring ace of Thors Military Academy, Emma Millstein seems like an ordinary book-loving girl on the surface, but in actuality, she is a Hexen Clan witch from the hidden village of Elin. She was orphaned at a young age and taken in by the clan's elder, Roselia, who would train her to be a proficient witch and prepare Emma for an important duty that all Hexen Clan witches follow: to guide Awakeners to their Divine Knights. At some point in her life, her adoptive sister Vita Clotilde left the clan after breaking an unspecified taboo, prompting Emma to search for her and hoping to bring her back. She was admitted entry into Thors in order to investigate the Old Schoolhouse, which is believed by her clan to host the Divine Knight, Valimar. Once she found who Valimar's Awakener is, Rean Schwarzer, she would guide him through the final trials in order for him to make a pact with the Divine Knight, thus resolving her duty. Even then, her friendship with Class VII has created an inseparable bond, and she would gladly help them in various Erebonian conflicts with her magic and knowledge as best she can.
  • As part of her duty as a Hexen Clan witch, it's important that she keeps her true identity a secret. However, Emma cannot create decent enough lies to hide her skin, as her attempts constantly fall flat on their faces and end up becoming transparent honesty. She didn't try very hard to hide the fact that the black cat who follows her around, Celine, is her familiar, and outright reveals her name to Rean. And during their field study to Legram, while exploring Lohengrin Castle, she made little attempts to hide her natural sixth sense ability, prompting her classmates to ask if she is a priestess from the Septian Church. Emma just went with that because it was the only excuse offered to her. And those are just the few examples. Because of her penchant for honesty and being unwilling able to tell decent lies as part of her Character Development, she was admitted entry into the pantheon.

  • Timon and Pumbaa are as strange a pair as one can ever find on the African savanna. The former, a wisecracking meerkatnote  who dreamed of a better life beyond his colony's mundane existence. The latter, a lonely warthognote  with a big heart who other animals couldn't stand to be around due to his excessive flatulence. Upon meeting each other, the pair started a quest to find a place to call home; one with no predators, no rules, no responsibilities and most importantly, no worries. Or as a strange monkey once called it, Hakuna Matata. After several misadventures, Timon and Pumbaa eventually found what they had been looking for; a lush jungle oasis full of bugs to eat and fun to be had. Things were looking good for them... then one fateful day, while out bowling for buzzards, they discovered something that would change their lives forever. A young lion cub, half-dead in the sun-baked earth. They took the cub, named Simba, back to their home, and taught him the ways of Hakuna Matata, raising him into a strong male lion. But when Simba realized he had to take responsibility and return to the Pride Lands to reclaim the throne, Timon and Pumbaa were right behind him, aiding their friend/adopted son in defeating The Usurper king Scar and his hyena army and restoring balance to the Circle of Life. For their heroic efforts, they became honoured members of Simba's Pride, with Timon even being praised by his home colony for his actions, as well as bringing them to the jungle to keep them safe.
    • One day while out hunting for grubs in the jungle, Timon and Pumbaa spotted a delicious looking beetle and wandered off in pursuit, ending up in a forest full of plants and animals they had never seen before. They were then ambushed by a strange creature; a bipedal ape-like animal with a stone-tipped spear in one hand. She had been looking for a pig to eat, and the boar was just what she wanted. The meerkat would be used as a toothpick. But after giving chase and cornering them, Pumbaa let loose his "special power", easily incapacitating her and giving Simba enough time to rescue them both. The lion king explained that the two misfits had entered a realm called The Pantheon and after some negotiating, presented his old friends with a temple and position as Gods. Afterwards, they indulged in a fresh batch of grubs and lounged in the jungle, just like old times.
  • It didn't take long for Simba's father Mufasa to learn of Timon and Pumbaa's arrival, so he decided to introduce himself to them. At first, the pair were surprised to see the old king alive and back in the flesh. That surprise quickly turned to horror as the two, Timon in particular, began to apologize profusely to Mufasa for not raising Simba properly, filling his head with their "problem-free philosophy" which got in the way of him learning from the past and becoming the king he was meant to be. Instead of being angry though, Mufasa just smiled. Though he admitted their Hakuna Matata wasn't a permanent solution, and they weren't exactly perfect, Timon and Pumbaa did rescue Simba from death, raised him the best they could, and gave him what he needed most at that time. Love. For that, Mufasa couldn't have been more grateful. He still checks in on the two from time to time, and will not hesitate to protect them from potential threats. In return, Timon and Pumbaa will occasionally chat with Mufasa and Simba about, well, everything.
  • Their temple leads not only to their jungle dream home but also back to the Pride Lands. They like to go back and forth between both, mainly to visit Timon's family in the jungle. More often than not though, they've been seen in the Pride Lands helping Simba maintain his kingdom. It's also where they ended up becoming surrogate uncles to Simba's daughter Kiara and future member of the Lion Guard, Bunga the honey badger.
  • Due to its' lush, awe-inspiring views, Timon and Pumbaa's jungle home attracts deities from all around the Pantheon. Chief among them, the fruit bat Batty Koda, the wild man George of the Jungle, and the Tama Hill tanuki clan. All of them enjoy the tropical setting and have even tried out their lifestyle, with the Tanuki especially getting in on the bug-eating action.
    • On another note, the rabbit Hazel was impressed by Timon and Pumbaa's bravery in defeating not only the hyenas and later the Outlander lions, but also for the former leading his colony to a better home, something Hazel could relate to. He sometimes brings his warren to the jungle for some quality relaxation, and while they might not eat bugs like the meerkats, they're still always welcomed to join in on the fun. The same applies to Bambi, who also gets in on the fun too, and whom Timon and Pumbaa are incredibly protective of. May have something to do with the fact the fawn lost a parent just as Simba did long ago.
  • Timon and Pumbaa initially had difficulty adjusting to the Pantheon, due to all the two-legged creatures wandering about like they, as Timon put it, "owned the place." Simba explained these bipedal primates were called humans, and while some were definitely bad for the pair to be around, others they could get along with just fine. To demonstrate, Simba introduced his friends to Mowgli the Man-Cub, who was more than excited to make some new friends. Pumbaa instantly got along with the wild child, seeing him like Simba when he was a cub. Timon, on the other hand, took a little longer to get used to the boy, but eventually warmed up after learning that Mowgli not only enjoyed the care-free life - the Bare Necessities as he called it - but also defeated a tiger in his homeworld. To the little meerkat, having a tiger-slaying Man-Cub around didn't sound too bad after all. After that, the three have spotted hanging out with each other, with Timon and Pumbaa showing Mowgli how to enjoy life to the fullest...
    • ...Something that reminded the Man-Cub of his old friend, Baloo. Mowgli introduced the pair to the old bear and the meeting couldn't have gone better. Timon and Pumbaa quickly realized the similarities between their Hakuna Matata and the Bare Necessities and the four have been seen hanging around enjoying the good life. That said, Mowgli's panther friend Bagheera considers the two African species as a bad influence for the young human, and would rather not get involved in their shenanigans.
  • While in the Pantheon, the duo couldn't help but notice a strange human with spiky hair wandering past, accompanied by an equally out of place duck and dog. Timon didn't recognize them, but Pumbaa instantly knew who they were, despite them no longer being a lion, bird and tortoise respectively. He called out to Sora, Donald and Goofy and ran over, thanking them for rescuing him and Timon from the hyenas in the past. The gesture was reciprocated, and even if they weren't African animals anymore they will occasionally step in to protect them from not only the Heartless, who were responsible for destroying their homeworld in the past, but also those who can control them; the witch Maleficent, her lackey Pete, and Master Xehanort himself.
  • The pair were not happy to learn that Simba's uncle Scar was alive and in the Pantheon, as well as his follower Zira and former hyena goons, all of whom want a little payback/lunch. But they aren't the only ones. The two lions were joined by the royal Bengal tiger Shere Khan, who was already an enemy to Mowgli, and the crazed leopard Sabor. Both had tried to eat Pumbaa and Timon upon their first encounter but were stopped by Mowgli and Simba. The two cats have kept their distance but still plan on munching on some warthog... provided they can get past Pumbaa's gas. Said gas did come in handy when the python Kaa once tried to eat Pumbaa. It took the giant snake two weeks to recover from the gas inhalation.
    • Not long after the Kaa incident, Timon and Pumbaa were confronted by yet another lion - a bipedal Smug Snake named Prince John, who rubbed the pair the wrong way, especially when they drew comparisons between him and Scar. Unfortunately for John, he made the mistake of calling Pumbaa a pig. One headbutt later and the three became quick enemies.
  • Mowgli was quick to introduce Timon and Pumbaa to some of his friends and mentors; a group called the Nature Preservers. Some in their ranks were humans raised in the wild, such as the Ape-Man Tarzan, who was perfectly fine with the two and was impressed by them raising a lion from cubhood. Unfortunately for the two, Mowgli's other mentor was San, the infamous Princess Mononoke and the same woman who tried to hunt them when they first arrived in the Pantheon. While she's gotten past the whole "getting farted in the face" bit, she still sees the two lower mammals as irresponsible role-models, not only for Simba but for Mowgli as well. The sentiment was echoed by San's wolf mother Moro, who felt their "problem-free philosophy" is a detriment to the boy's potential and has warned them to stay away from each other. Not that they would listen.
    • Moro's fellow god, the white boar Okkoto, shares her sentiments. While he was impressed with Pumbaa's ability to fight despite his small size, he not entirely sure if he cares for the warthog's lifestyle and friendship with Timon. Still, he has offered Pumbaa a place in his boar clan should he ever choose to aid in killing the humans. Safe to say, Pumbaa's not entirely up for it.
  • As wild animals living in a lush ecosystem unaltered by human activity, it should come as no surprise that Timon and Pumbaa oppose those individuals who either want to destroy the environment for their own gain or harm animals for, again, their own personal gains. These include the likes of Cruella DeVil, Pokémon Hunter J, Mr. Burns, and the destructive spirit Hexxus. They take it very personally. After all, they once tried to make a lakeside resort by damning the river supplying the Pride Lands with water but were convinced otherwise by Simba.
    • Their wild antics also attracted the attention of several humans who found their friendship and lifestyle to be rather fascinating. The first was Eliza Thornberry, who met the pair while her father was out shooting a documentary on meerkats. At first, they were surprised she could speak fluent animal despite not being raised in the wild, but after some conversing the three reached an understanding, with Timon even offering to show the Thornberry how meerkats go about their daily business, along with watching over her brother Donnie. They certainly like her more than Steve Irwin and Sir David Attenborough; the former having tried to wrangle Pumbaa like a crocodile and the latter disturbing their peace with his constant narration. That said, Timon and Pumbaa do have a healthy enough respect for them. After all, Irwin did rescue Pumbaa from a crocodile and Attenborough for his advocating for wildlife and environmental protection. The two can live with that... just as long as Attenborough doesn't bring up the drongo incident with anyone.
  • One time while performing a show at the House of Theatre, Timon attempted to eat Jiminy Cricket in front of a live audience. Pumbaa quickly stopped him but sadly this isn't the first time it happened. The meerkat has tried on numerous occasions to catch the cricket for his lunch, even trying to convince Pinocchio to hand him over as he doesn't need a conscious now that he's a real boy. Pinocchio wasn't fooled by this, but despite keeping his friend from being eaten, the former puppet still hangs out with the two and is learning about the Hakuna Matata lifestyle, much to the cricket's annoyance.
    • Speaking of Jiminy, the Houses of Insects and Arthropods both oppose the two insectivores, barring their gates to prevent any further casualties. Not that they would try again; most of the House's inhabitants are either too large or too dangerous to feed on. Even those invertebrates who don't live in either house despise the pair. On one occasion, Timon was flexing his tunnelling skills - being a Meerkat and all - and wound up digging right into the domain of Anub'arak. Suffice to say, Timon was lucky to escape with his life.
  • One time, Timon was accidentally transported to Agrabah as he was about to chow down with Pumbaa, and was forced to help a human named Aladdin save his love, Princess Jasmine, from a giant hourglass. Even after being transported back, Timon still stops by Aladdin's temple to check up on the newly wedded couple but lately, he and Pumbaa have been hanging out with Genie instead.
  • Despite sticking around in the Pride Lands, Timon and Pumbaa have had multiple adventures on other continents, meeting with other animals and humans along the way. These adventures also land them into plenty of extra trouble, especially since they ended up meeting Jack and Annie on one such adventure. The circumstances are vague as to what happened but the four ended up having to work together to get back to the Pantheon. After that, Timon offered to teach the kids about the Hakuna Matata lifestyle... too bad Annie was too afraid of bugs to fully get in on their lifestyle.
  • It was through Mowgli and Baloo that Timon and Pumbaa met the human swordsman Ren and his ursine "master", Kumatetsu, the latter taking a bit of a liking to their Hakuna Matata lifestyle. It also turned out both master and student were incredibly competitive, and one day decided to partake in a contest to see who can eat the most. Timon suggested they try a snail-slurping contest to up the stakes. At the end of the day, Ren, Kumatetsu, and Timon were passed out on the ground, with Simba still the reigning champion. Pumbaa warned them all it was a bad idea beforehand, but they didn't bother to listen.
    • Surprisingly, Ren and Kumatetsu's contemporaries, Hana and the Wolf-Man, came to respect Timon and Pumbaa. It had nothing to do with their Hakuna Matata, but rather it was because of them adopting and raising Simba after his father's death. Knowing all too well the feelings the young cub went through, the young couple were more than happy to see the work the two mammals went through. Pumbaa was more open with his thanks but Timon simply brushing it off, saying it was nothing.
  • Much to their surprise, Timon and Pumbaa learned they had human counterparts living in the Pantheon. Their names were Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, and they once had been close friends with Prince Hamlet of Denmark. Well, before their unfortunate execution. The four comic characters, though coming from vastly different worlds and having different fates, immediately noticed the striking similarities between their stories, so much so they often swap places during performances in the House of Theatre. It was through the humans that Timon and Pumbaa encountered Prince Hamlet... and were quite uncomfortable with his descent into madness and causing more death than was necessary, with Timon realizing the prince was what Simba could've been had he and Pumbaa not found him. They've distanced themselves from the prince, and alongside Simba, occasionally stop by the temple of Hamlet's former beloved Ophelia to tidy up the place.
  • While Pumbaa is a kind soul at heart, the one thing you should never ever do around him is call him a pig. Unless you're his friend, the normally calm suid will transform into a rampaging mass of tusks and hooves that can topple even the largest of predators. Very few in the Pantheon dare to even mention that three-letter word around him, with some opting to go with "chubby". Which is also a mistake.
  • For some particular reason, every time Timon says "Stand by Me", bad and bizarre things happen - mostly to Pumbaa anyway. That being said, it has happened to other deities less often. Timon isn't even aware of it, but a few deities don't want to be near him as a result of this.
  • And yes, whenever a God needs a distraction they often call upon the pair to "dress in drag and do the hula." It's actually quite an effective strategy, even if it often leads to the two nearly getting killed on multiple occasions. That said they can't use it all the time especially when they're more realistic, but they've found a workaround for it.

Time to explore the world!

@nightelf that's unfortunate. I'm sure we've all in a similar position.

I'm deliberating wether i should replace Arvis with General Sheperd from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for Cavalry Betrayal.

My only argument is that Sheperd's betrayal has become legendary among gamers, check youtube comments and other forums and you will often find that Loose Ends is a fondly remembered mission for the gut punch of the ending that is the Cavalry Betrayal.

So what to do? Does Arvis have an alternative to use?
