Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@ lawliet: Richard Castle does not seem to be ascended at the moment. I would love to add a picture from Umineko, but he's only had one visual image associated with him, and it's in the manga. Otherwise, he's an offscreen character.

@ Forgo: Perhaps, but I would be a bit more optimistic about it. Additionally, Knox may have had a Pseudo-Romantic Friendship with a student at Oxford(Hilliard, UnEnglish and Unmanly: Anglo-Catholicism and Homosexuality, pg. 13). I will change to team-clenched teamwork though.

  • Yeah my bad, I linked to the wrong house. He's actually right here. Also, I forgot to mention Stephen King too. While mainly a horror writer, he has babbled in writing mystery and thriller novels too.
  • That's a shame, but I can understand not including him.

Here's the updated Metal bros again:

Tomoo and Yatsu, Unholy duo of Mechanical Transformations(Tomoo: The Salaryman, Yatsu: The Metal Fetishist)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tetsuo_salaryman.jpg
Tomoo (fully transformed)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yatsu_giving_flower.jpg
Yatsu
  • Potential House(s): Cybernetics and Enhancements, Transformations
  • Intermediate Gods(can evolve into Greater Gods through assimilation)
  • Symbol: Their combined form, a massive, Phallic metal...thing
  • Alignment: Tomoo: True Neutral(eventually Chaotic Good) Yatsu: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Both: Moody gray shading, Bizarre Imagery and Narrative, Nightmarish Mutations into Machinery, Bizarre Superpowers over Metal,Cybernetics Eat Your Soul, Can be interpreted as a ''really'' weird love story, Phallic Symbolism, Alternate Continuity
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Both: The Child Abuse Supporters, Darryl Revok
  • Special Relationship: Each other(brothers in one timeline)
  • Intrigued by:(Yatsu) The Thing, Sadako Yamamura,Tomie Kawakami
  • Pitied by: Meilin Lee(mostly Tomoo)
  • The story of the "Iron Men" begins with an average Japanese Salaryman and his girlfriend. One day, the unassuming businessman was driving home with his girlfriend until they accidentally ran over a pedestrian. This pedestrian, however, was the man known as "the Metal Fetishist" so called for his unusual fixation on metal applied to his body. The couple, unaware of this, believed the man dead, hid his body, and tried to move past their dark deed. But the Salaryman had received a curse or perhaps gift from the Fetishist. The man's body slowly began taking on the properties of metal, his mind plagued with horrific visions of a cybernetic nightmare. Eventually the Salaryman's transformation led to his girlfriend's death, and the Metal madman himself arrived to complete the transformation as part of his mad desire to share his agony with his victim. The two engaged in a brutal battle of metal and flesh, eventually combining into a monstrosity that sought to rust away the world with their newfound "love".
  • At least that's how one version of the story goes. Another account tells of a salaryman named Tomoo, who led an ordinary life with a loving wife and child, but had no memory of his past. That life was shattered when Yatsu, AKA the Metal Fetishist, targeted him for his depraved plans. Tomoo's young son was murdered, and he plunged into despair, awakening the metal-morphing powers he shared with Yatsu-actually his brother. Tomoo went on a brutal rampage against Yatsu's cult to save his wife, and soon discovered the truth of his past. The boys' father was a metal molding maniac as well, experimenting on his children to create human weapons. With this awful revelation, Tomoo succumbed to his brother's urging and evolved into a massive, tank like juggernaut. Amid the destruction however, it seems Tomoo found peace, as he apparently shifted back to human form with his wife and revived son.
    • Some time later Yatsu resurfaced, this time targeting another Cyborg named Anthony. Yatsu threatened Anthony's son to control him as a new weapon. But the super Cyborg fought the Metal Fetishist and ultimately averted suffering Tomoo's fate, and Yatsu was absorbed by Anthony's own power, gone for good...at least for now.
  • Eventually the Salaryman(Tomoo) was welcomed into the Pantheon gates. He hoped to find a nice place to settle down and put his metal nightmare behind him. Unfortunately there was a reason he was there, and the other inductee surfaced shortly after. Initially disoriented, the Metal Fetishist soon set to work seeking new metal to absorb and fuse with for power and pleasure. Tomoo was filled with terror as he realized his brother was coming for him. Yatsu seeks to expand his love of chaos and transform the Pantheon into his twisted view of beauty, and he wants to be one with Tomoo to do it.
  • Applies to Both:
    • Although they outwardly appear to human, both Yatsu and Tomoo will morph into horrifying machine monsters under stress, leaving unpredictable devastation where they go. Tomoo has tried to seek help for this, leading to him joining a "support group" of sorts with similar individuals like Dr. Bruce Banner and the Lycanthrope Larry Talbot. Banner knows well the trauma of being a walking weapon, and he's shared Tomoo some techniques to tame his anger. Yatsu, meanwhile, seeks to unleash the full extent of his power and enjoys the company of like-minded monsters, especially of the mechanical variety. One such is the Android psychopath Ultron, whose desire to replace humanity with cybernetic extensions of himself earned him the Metal Fetishist's respect. By chance, one of Tomoo's circle is Dr. Hank Pym, Ultron's creator. Pym is as ashamed of his monstrous son as Tomoo is his brother. Both agree their counterparts represent the worst impulses of themselves, and that it's their responsibility to destroy them.
    • A similar duo is the psychic "Scanner" terrorist Darryl Revok and his brother Cameron Vale. Despite his lack of social skills, Vale was interested in Tomoo's condition and believes he's found another ally. Revok, on the other hand, has decided that both Metal men are too dangerous and psychotic to be controlled. He's able to effectively strike Yatsu mentally, but the maniac's biomechanical nature allows him to bounce back quickly. Revok is still planning to destroy the metal monster, and Yatsu sneers at his arrogance.
    • If there's one ideal they share, it's that they both loathe abusive parents, especially since in one timeline their father was a selfish monster who turned them into what they are. While Yatsu isn't much better than his dad, he still sees his father in people like Ozai and seeks to destroy everything he built. Tomoo especially has it in for men like Gendo Ikari and Shou Tucker, who used their own children for their own selfish experiments, which in the case of Ikari had truly apocalyptic results. Dr. Gero stands out as the most similar, as while he did care for his son, he still created killing machines both organic and mechanical. Further unnerving Tomoo is that Gero has expressed interest in the two, believing he may have a better chance of studying and harnessing their powers.

  • Applies to Yatsu:
    • He's considered an insane abomination even among other world conquerors, if only that his insanity and dangerous powers make him too unpredictable. Besides Ultron, however, a few admire his monstrous ambition. Cell, the aformentioned Dr. Gero's deadliest creation, is on a journey to perfect himself and sees Yatsu's mission of spreading "the beauty of destruction" as similar. The cyborg Kaiju Gigan is generally a weapon for whoever points him somewhere, but Yatsu's technopathy lets him to communicate with the beast on more even footing, promising him new upgrades and places to destroy. Hank Henshaw, the hopelessly misanthropic Cyborg Superman, joins with Yatsu in the belief a fellow cybernetic entity can help bring an end to his tortured existence and destroy the world that spawned them. He's also caught the attention of SKYNET, who's thrilled at the prospect of creating man-machine hybrid Terminators with the Fetishist's unique powers. The evil AI assigned the shape-shifting T-1000 as a diplomat. A similarly sociopathic machine called AM(Allied Mastercomputer) has admitted it's impressed that a young human could transcend into a being that rivals itself in power and malice. @ Mister Sinister: You should probably factor in not all the Sinisters would share the same allies/enemies, alignment and characteristics in the portfolio. Maybe even add the original Essex

The ascended members of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi would be very familiar with cloning, though it's rare that a clone in the Star Wars setting carried on their progenitors memories (Palpatine doesn't count since it's literally the same guy in a new body)

Any AT4W lore of this ship I've been missing?

No thumbs mode

Comicron-1 (formerly Lord Vyce's ship)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/comicron1.png
  • Hall: Vehicles Depot (The Great Treasury)
  • Appearance: A V-styled spaceship
  • Class Level: 3 (2 under Vyce's control)
  • Museum Check: Granted (requires the current owner's permission, though)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good with its current A.I, Lawful Evil when under Vyce's command. True Neutral without its current A.I
  • Portfolio: Cool Starship, Space Fighter, A Unique Design Near-Impossible To Repair Without Use Of The Forge, Wave-Motion Gun, Hard Light, Best Assets Blocked Off Without Vyce But Still Formidable, Constructed From Multiple Universes' Materials, having a Benevolent A.I.
  • Domains: Interdimensionality, Conquest (Formerly), Review Videos (Currently), Spaceships, Teleporters, Strange Happenings (in general)
  • Owner: Linkara (current owner), Lord Vyce (creator and original owner)
  • A.I: NIMUE (non-ascended)
  • Ship mechanic: 90s Dude
  • Lord Vyce has had many allies in his pursuit of the Entity, but all of them came and gone. The only thing left was his powerful spaceship, a complicated vehicle with material from multiple universes. It utilizes something known as the Forge, which can convert any material nearby to repair the ship. For times unknown it was under his possession, until he was defeated by Linkara and his allies. Many of the ship's abilities were locked without Vyce but it still a formidable ship, and one of Linkara's best assets against the often bizarre enemies he deals with. He's dubbed the ship Comicron-1, and has occasionally made comic book reviews on the ship.
  • Currently located in Earth orbit, making up Linkara's "Arsenal of Freedom", and being observed by the US government as a matter of security. Much to the original owner's protest, Linkara has allowed Comicron-1 to show up in the Vehicles Depot. However you need his formal permission before using the ship. As an unabashed nerd he was pretty excited to see it in the same location as the Batmobile and the DeLorean Time Machine. Unfortunately for him this also meant it was in the same Hall of the USG Ishimura. The fear of Necromorphs getting onto the Comicron-1 has him tempted to let Lord Vyce open up some protective functions, but he doesn't think it's worth the risk after Vyce broke their Enemy Mine as he refused to accept the Entity was dead and still argues he's needed to "protect" the multiverse.
  • As it is, Comicron-1 isn't able to travel to other universes like it was under Lord Vyce. It can go as far enough as Jupiter's orbit, though presumably it can't got FTL. Linkara hasn't tried to at least. Given the cosmic threats he once merely reviewed are in the Trope Pantheon like him, such as Planet Remina, he wishes its full capabilities aren't locked. Petitions for helping the ship reach its full capabilities have been sent to Team Lightyear and the Green Lantern Corps. No-one who knows how to improve it has managed to make a permanent upgrade. Currently he'll mulling over whether it'd be easier to just find one of Nebby's species and use them for multiversal travel.
Linkara: "Damnit, why do I have to deal with this comic book trope!"
  • Almost certainly has an FTL drive, though Linkara has never demonstrated it in part because he's never had to go that far into space, the furthest he's gone being Jupiter's orbit which doesn't require him to exceed c to reach at the time he went there. Vyce has stated that yes it does, that should be obvious, but hasn't gone into more detail and alludes to it being one of the higher functions he refuses to unlock until he gets control of the ship again. Professor Farnsworth muses that as it is it's no good if he wants to use it to make interstellar deliveries, but Linkara doesn't care about that since among other reasons he's financially stable. Rick Sanchez regularly roasts Comicron-1 as looking like a nerd's wet dream or something. His ship is a simple UFO but it can travel interstellar and interdimensional distances with ease and comes equipped with a variety of weapons. While Rick has a point, Linkara refuses to rise to the bait.
  • In a way, Comicron-1 could count as a deity and a treasure, as it is piloted by an A.I called NIMUE. She does double duty performing security, and looks kind of like HAL 9000. However unlike him, she performs as intended and rolls her avatar's eyes at her physical design being similar to it. However like everyone else if she wants to be a deity she has to apply and she can exist independently of Comicron-1 if need be. Since the ship itself is part of the Trope Pantheon she is able to communicate to other Spaceship Girl AIs, such as EDI and Cortana. She doesn't feel the need to make a humanoid avatar, at least right now, but she does have a perceived feminine avatar in digital space. Don't try to override her, especially with your own consciousness; Vyce barely survived her retaliation. Unfortunately beings like SKYNET and Sigma think they have a good shot at succeeding where she failed, and they might be right to think so.
    • Since Linkara's favorite film is Camelot, some think that's where he got the name for the AI. Merlin has been pondering visiting Comicron-1 with that in knowledge.
  • Has a scout ship called the Vigilant which can be modified into a Space Fighter, and an intended second model called Comicron-2 after Comicron-1 ended up out of commission on the moon. Well, had, Vyce ended up taking Comicron-2 to kill the Entity only to fall into the collapsing Pocket Dimension meant for the now dead for real Entity. Unfortunately, for Vyce, he didn't come back with it, but he muses its design is inferior due to being a Glass Cannon. The Grand United Alliance of Good reached out to Linkara after entering and winning the recent Tournament of Champions saying they want to support. The absolute Toku fan that he is, the GUAG members he gets support of the most from are the Power Rangers. He wants to figure out how to let the Comicron-1 has a mecha mode but the design of the ship is enough of a Black Box no progress in doing so has been made.
  • You have to be invited to enter Comicron-1. The Nostalgia Critic was kind of annoyed he doesn't have this badass ship, having to settle to make his house a spaceship, and due to out of universe events Linkara isn't enthused about inviting him. He might think differently if he or the Angry Video Game Nerd want to help him deal with his or mutual enemies. Villains almost never get an invitation even if Linkara's a fan of them for security reasons. One of the reasons why it's "almost" is because Snowflame can show up since he's kind of roomies with the reviewer (and he thinks he's a personal Ensemble Dark Horse). He initially allowed superheroes to come in unannounced but grew sick of Batman trying to make contingency plans for Comicron-1 so from now on they need an invitation. Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are common visitors.
  • Though villains almost never get an invitation, there are blatant perma-ban lists. Complete Monsters, of course they're not invited. Those that push more into existential threat territory for him/being very OP, also never allowed entry. He doesn't want SKYNET or any of its loyal agents due to experience with Mechakara. However he has also permanently banned Amanda Waller despite her being more an occasional/ambiguous villain. Why? Simple; she keeps trying to shut his show down and seize his assets for the US government due to not trusting him, or making her own contingencies in case he goes rogue. Being a comic book fan, he feels those contingencies would be at best questionable.
Linkara: You know I've read "JLA: Tower of Babel right? I've seen how a full on superhero's contingencies can go belly-up, so I'm sure as hell not trusting you! Also FYI, Batman was meant to be seen in the wrong."
  • Thanks to the holodeck, Linkara is able to make Comicron-1 his home away from home. The ship utilizes repurposed Cybermats made by Linkara's tech expert Dr Linksano. No, not Dr Insano, but his brother from another universenote . Linkara's old nemesis was pretty pissed off to see even after a decade he still has ownership of Lord Vyce's ship and he plans to take control of the ship for himself. Lionel Hutz attempted to make some sort of lawsuit over these "borrowed assets", but the crew of the USS Enterprise roll their eyes at a harmless Shout-Out. Unfortunately the Cybermen had another idea, in that they are trying to control the repurposed Cybermats in order to take the ship for themselves.
  • SCP-2578-D has been communicating with Comicron-1 after noticing its presence in Earth orbit. The Kill Sat stated that it sees even greater potential for heroism than Linkara thinks, as he could use the ship to intimidate dictators into surrendering power and allowing more freedom. Linkara tacitly refuses as he believes this would be Jumping Off the Slippery Slope; he had a major reality call after being called out for his unheroic actions and he witnessed his hologram clone to plan to use it against Marvel and DC editors to force them to improve the quality of comic books. He's a comic-loving nerd and he's not going to indulge in the behavior of characters like The Authority. The SCPs Hall of Military Technology has been observing the ship for its potential. Stan Smith has tried to exploit his CIA status to go on the ship under the pretense of the US government monitoring it, but Linkara saw right through it and kicked him off since he would rather avoid any of his 'verse's craziness on his ship...he has enough weirdness on his own.

@ Sailor Venus: The Metal Gear series has Big Boss who was used as the dna source for three clones. Each of the clones are major characters of the games. One clone Solid Snake is the playable character for over half of the games. The second clone Liquid Snake was the main villain of Metal Gear Solid 1. The third clone Solidus Snake was the main villain of Metal Gear Solid 2.

Azulin and Gordi, Co-Gods of Religious Animals

  • [tup]s: 4 (Excessive, Necromancer, Crimson, Dood)
  • House: Religious Practice, Animal Behavior
  • Demideities
  • Symbol: The Sacred Book, alternatively his mask (Azulin). A bow and a heart-shaped arrow (Gordi)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, thinks of himself as Lawful Good (Azulín), Neutral Good (Gordi).
  • Portfolio: Believed in a Religion of Bears and Unicorns, Cain and Abel.
  • Domains: Animals, Religion, Siblings, Bears Hatred, War
  • Herald: María (Gordí)
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: The Houyhnhnms.
  • Opposed by: Chirin, Ford Pines, Mabel Pines (Azulin)
  • Oppose: The Perverted Unicorn (both)
  • Gordi and Azulín were a pair of anthropomorphic bear brothers who lived in a small town near a magical forest, according to their town's religion, the bears once were unintelligent wild animals that eventually were given sapience by the God of the world through a sacred book in a church that was placed in the middle of the forest; however the jealous unicorns that also inhabited the forest didn't approve of the bears and drove them out motivating the future generations to fight and eventually wipe out the unicorns to reclaim their land. Gordi and Azulin joined a special squadron to fight in the war, with Azulin making his brother miserable at all turns and gradually being driven to insanity by his sociopathy and obsession with being the hero of the story as he read that the sacred book of the bears' religion indicated the legend of a "Chosen One" that would guide the bears to victory. After most of their comrades perished in battle, Azulin and Gordi had a falling out with Gordi ending up lost and in unicorn territory where contrary to what he'd been raised to believe turned out to be a friendly place where he made peace with his former religious enemies; meanwhile, Azulin was injured but found and healed and was made into the figurehead of the war efforts, leading to him rising in the ranks and eventually taking over as the supreme commander to use his newfound power to lead a mass assault on the forest, destroying it and all the unicorns at the cost of all bears but him perishing in the process. When he reunited with Gordi, despite his prior grief and regret, he was filled with rage when Gordi revealed himself to have befriended a unicorn foal, Maria, and killed him in cold blood before killing Maria and consuming her flesh to fulfill the prophecy of the Chosen One; but then from Maria's body a monstrous entity emerged and devoured him, his brother's corpse and Maria and took on a humanoid form before marching to take over the now-desolate world.
  • Gordi and Azulin woke up in the Pantheon, Gordi feeling a massive pain in the back of his head from leftover blunt trauma while Azulin felt like he was drowning as he woke up. Once both adjusted their senses back to full lucidity, Azulin thought they were in Heaven and he'd fulfilled his purpose before discovering he was quite not right about it as they were now in a Pantheon filled with various Gods of other worlds. Gordi refused to be within his brother's place any longer and went his separate way as did Azulin, eventually their temple was split for Gordi's safety and ever since the two brothers haven't talked much to each other, though many feel that eventually they'll fight again but hope it's Gordi who ends his brother's life this time around.
  • From the start, Azulín resumed his hatred and genocidal crusade against the unicorns, now targeting those in the Pantheon that he felt were the biggest threats to him. Chief among these deities were the unicorns and alicorns of the My Little Pony world who wield magic that he finds not only demonic in nature but also have a fully-thriving civilization defined by its peace for the most part, which makes him jealous of their rather good lifestyle; despite his hatred of them he does not feel swayed to ally with the majority of their own enemies as they're either ponies or close species themselves or too dangerous to team up with, with the sole exception of Grogar who's sane and different enough from the ponies to be on Azulín's good graces; Grogar has thought of humoring the bear before betraying him as he finds his bloodlust and sheer cruelty of interest but nothing else.
    • Azulin likewise developed loathing for Lady Amalthea and Pegasus by extension, as both equine deities have powers and status which challenge his views on unicorns and his religion's principles, something he doesn't takes well. Amalthea herself feels pity towards Azulin, having heard from Gordi about how he once wasn't as bad (though was never really a good person) but got worse as the indoctrination and his growing sociopathy got the better of him and sank him into full depravity past the point of return. Pegasus himself avoids Azulin and wants nothing to do with him in any way, viewing him as both a lost cause and a monster that never really did anything remotely good.
    • Gordi, on the other hand, befriended the ponies without issue and has taken interest in adopting their ideology of friendship and trust, recalling how his world was doomed by the bears adopting a religious ideology that put killing their enemies above all things, especially how his brother fully absorbed the worst aspects of it in his downwards spiral towards evil. He also met the human, Megan, who came from another world to the ponies' own to help in various adventures; she is glad to hear that despite his upbringing Gordi changed for the better from the good of his heart and has given him some time to take care of pony foals as their babysitter, remembering Gordi's time as the young Maria's caretaker. He also began to help taking care of Unico, a young and friendly pony with a similar view on the world and who too reminded him of Maria, Unico in turn appreciates having another friend though had almost tried to befriend Azulin before Gordi talked him out of it knowing his brother wouldn't have mercy on Unico.
  • A few deities both brothers equally dislike are the Houyhnhnms, horses with contempt towards most things that aren't themselves and a predisposition for being arrogant and self-righteous. Azulin views them as extensions of the unicorns and wants them wiped out to take over their island, while Gordi is abhorred by their isolationist ideas and disdain for humans or other species they consider as bad as the "Yahoos". The Houyhnhnms in turn are not too concerned about the bears themselves but rather fear what Azulin might bring upon them as they were horrified to learn of how Azulin basically caused the apocalypse on his world and led to the rise of what they perceive to be a demonic Yahoo. As such they've taken steps to keep both bears as far away from their temple as possible and also ensure none of their allies can reach their island, for once fearing their kind might in genuine danger.
  • Due to their religions' uncanny parallels to various common religions such as Christianity they've gained some infamy among more religious deities, though that's mostly reserved for the deranged fundamentalist that is Azulin. Primarily among these opposers was Orel Puppington who is a very devoted Christian but was occasionally misguided into some rather nasty acts out of blind obedience before he wound up realizing just how rotten most of his town was in their own devotions and outgrew the worst traits of his religious ideals; while Orel pities Azulin and sympathizes with Gordi for how their mother cheated on their father, he isn't willing to let the former get off easy for the genocide he led and his own killing of his brother just for not siding with him in addition to the long-standing bullying and cruelty Azulin put Gordi through while acting entitled to his brother's love and attention, not unlike Clay's own psychological abuse of him while gaslighting him into obedience.
  • Gordi's idealism and technical pacifism has led to him befriending deities who've also vouched for said kind of ideals or even coexistence as Gordi had achieved with the unicorns he was raised to believe were the enemy. One of these deities was Star Butterfly, as the princess grew up being taught to hate and kill monsters yet found herself sympathizing with them upon finding out her people's revisionism and worked hard to create a kingdom fit for both her kind and monsters alike. Another of these allies was Caesar, the evolved ape having been caught up in a desperate conflict of humanity and apes in which he even had to turn against his brother-in-arms Koba, who was too far gone in his hatred to be saved, but while Gordi was the one to lose in his conflict with Azulín, Caesar triumphed against Koba and achieved a peaceful future for apes, whereas Gordi was too late for any bright future to come before Azulín tore it down, Caesar does greatly sympathize with Gordo due to what he went through and even gave him condolences for his fallen friends and family. While Koba might have some similar ideas to Azulín, he does find his lack of common goals to be a reason not to be interested in forming an alliance with him, instead opting to ignore his existence.
  • While Azulin might have ideals of bear superiority he's willing to team up with non-bears if they are willing to reach some kind of compromise (provided it doesn't screw him over), one of these allies was Napoleon the pig, who loathes equines due to his personal experiences with members of their kind and is interested in Azulin's power-hungry tendencies given his own rise to power. While Napoleon sees the religion he profuses as a possible threat to his influence he nonetheless has thought up of ways of using it as a way to give himself even more power and influence in the greater Pantheon or neutralize how much it can reach out. Azulin also admires Napoleon's ruthlessness and his iron fist rule in which he employed both fear and cunning to keep the show going, while Napoleon in turns shows respect towards Azulin's ruthlessness and unbreakable will in his attempts to destroy the Unicorns and rule the forest.
  • Another deity who had issues with unicorns was Stanford Pines aka the Author of the Journals, but while he might not like unicorns himself even he thinks Azulín and formerly Gordi were way too excessive in their own biases, especially since they were attacking unicorns trying to protect their home; Mabel who also had such a bad run-in with unicorns was similarly disgusted by Azulín's methods and his treatment of his brother. He is glad Gordi has changed his ways but is equally disappointed in Azulín not doing the same and becoming far, far worse. He also laments how their sibling relationship ended in disaster, especially since Gordi still tried to reason with his brother for as long as he could while Azulín mistreated him his entire life out of petty spite.
  • Azulín made an unusual ally in "Big" Jack Horner, primarily because the latter not only has abused and subdued unicorns for his own ends, but also because he seeks to deprive everyone of magic, which would include any and all unicorns in the world. While Jack thinks Azulin is a wee bit too unstable at times, he had not much issue teaming up over their common enemies and also to use him as a sucker pawn in his plans, given that the level of violence and brutality Azulin has led in the past sounded like a very interesting chance for him to exploit for his own ends. In response to this, Gordi came to loathe Jack for his mistreatment of baby unicorns and enslavement of magical beings, while in turn allying with Puss in Boots and Shrek, who gave him a bit more insight on just how wrong the religion that indoctrinated several of his fellow bears into hatred really was.
  • There are a few unicorn deities both Azulin and Gordi are equally wary of, among these is King Sombra, an enemy of the Equestria deities who has tried to enslave the world multiple times which gave both brothers a reason to hate him; Azulin not only hates Sombra out of prejudice due to being a pony and wielding dark magic but also because of him viewing Sombra's power as a threat to any future rule he would try and establish and just in general that his power undermines his self-made image of dread. Another of these unicorns is the perverted nameless Unicorn whose behavior and promiscuity has made Azulin and Gordi alike uncomfortable and prone to try and avoid him any way they can, while Gordi at least tries to be amicable if dismissive whenever they cross paths if only to avoid trouble and a fight he doesn't wants happening, Azulin has at times violently charged and tried to murder the unicorn as retaliation for the slightest unwanted attention, which has made the Unicorn be pretty scared of the blue bear and prone to running for the hills if he so much as spots him in the distance.
  • Interestingly enough, their final fates of Azulin striking down Gordi with a rock makes them their world's counterparts to Cain and Abel. Cain himself is in the Pantheon and was interested to hear more of the two brothers' tale, while Cain is occasionally uncaring about his crimes, he has been more remorseful as of lately and is horrified that something so similar went down on another world but that instead of feeling remorse about the deed, Azulin has just doubled down on his cruelty which soured his view of the psychotic blue bear; he in turn was fond of Gordi for his friendly demeanor and willingness to befriend others and make peace not unlike Abel's peaceful and kind-hearted approach to life.
  • Naughty Bear got along well with Gordi, mainly because he could relate to being singled out and hated by his peers just for being different, though Gordi never went into a rampage out of revenge. He in turn loathed Azulin more than any bear he did prior, not only for murdering Gordi in cold blood but also being the main perpetrator of the bullying Gordi went through yet still being an entitled jerk who demanded full loyalty and love from his brother despite doing nothing to earn even a pat in the back, while Gordi has pleaded time and time again for Naughty Bear not to disembowel Azulin violently, Naughty has made it clear he won't guarantee Azulin will live if he keeps down the path he walks for now.
  • Po is another Weight Woe who suffered as a result of his physical appearance, as the Furious Five and Shifu (and virtually everyone but his father) were initially dismissive and cruel to him for being a fat panda. Gordi's bullying turned to worse and it was perpetrated by his violent brother, which caused Po to greatly sympathetize with him, which Gordi appreciated and was happy to hear how his own tale turned out much better in the end. In turn Azulin resents and envies Po for being a legitimate Chosen One and being praised and loved by his people for who he is rather than for a mask, in one ocassion Azulin tried to kill Po but wisely retreated once the Dragon Warrior easily beat him, ever since he's been thinking of conspiring with Po's foes to take him down in petty revenge.
  • San, being a guardian of a sacred forest, absolutely loathes Azulín for all he's done to the forest of the unicorns and then murdering his brother for not supporting his madness. She on the other hand felt bad for Gordi due to what his brother did to him and for his failed attempts at living in peace with the unicorns and protect Maria from the evil of the other bears' warmongering ways. San's adoptive mother, Moro-No-Kimi, shares her views on the two but especially feels bad for Gordí due to his attempts at salvaging something out of the bear-unicorn war going to Hell real quickly thanks to Azulín's mania.
  • The Tediz got along well with Azulín thanks to their shared views on militarism and supremacy and even finding it admirable how their fellow bear took over the army he once served and turned it into far more of fascist state in order to achieve his goals of dominion. The Tediz have offered to help Azulín to allow him to achieve his goals, viewing eliminating all unicorns as a way to further their conquests by removing powerful magic users from the Pantheon and those who'd dare to defend them. For this, Gordi made enemies with them and even found an unusual ally due to mutual enemies in Conker the Squirrel, while Conker might be a tad too crass and perverted to hang out constantly, he nonetheless appreciates some support to him; in turn Conker thinks of Azulín as a complete nutjob who needs to be stopped before he causes trouble for him.
  • The Care Bears are a group of cuddly and nice-natured bears who strive to teach the values of friendship and care to all. While Gordi was very approving of them, Azulín found them repulsive and too saccharine for his liking, thinking of them as weaklings and less cuter than himself, though they in turn found him too cruel for their own liking and were horrified by what he did to the sacred forest he so much coveted as well as to his fellow bears that he disliked and the unicorns he wished exterminated.
  • Azulín found out about Lotso, another bear who also follows a similar darwinist mindset and lead a tyrannical reign over his fellows (toys in Lotso's case) and was similarly slighted by a parental figure; while Lotso has not much interest in Azulín's agenda, he does at least shows no desire to oppose him after meeting him, understanding his twisted ideals since they are not unlike his own. Another bear on a similar wavelength to Azulín was Fliqpy, the split personality of Flippy, from the Happy Tree Friends who revels in the depravity he sinks to and finds Azulín a kindred soul because of the lengths the blue bear will go to accomplish his goals and be rid of those he dislikes.

It's an incurable, 100% effective virus that (in what's described as a tearing pain) turns animal tissue into a mechanical variant, ultimately into a Clockwork Creature. It's a Viral Transformation and infected can continue for months, even years, without being detected. Something the two would be eyeing up, but for quite different reasons

Religious Practice has hit the "too long warning" and is approaching 300K characters. Can Hugh Bliss be moved to Sinners? His trope, Path of Inspiration, is about seemingly innocuous religions that are actually made for some nefarious purpose and is Evil All Along, which fits the Sinners Hall well.

Speaking of movement and long pages, I made a few movement proposals from Naming Convention here but I didn't get any responses.

[up]The Hierarchs are in Fantastical Leadership so they can be removed from Religious Practice. In addition, there are some bad profiles in Naming Convention, particularly Shining Armor, Speed-O-Sound Sonic, Josie Rizal, Rad Dudesman, Sarge and Serena.

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

[up][up]I am currently working on a new profile that would end up in Naming Convention (I didn't intend to add to this problem, but still sorry about that)

@Venus: Are the other characters in the profile his clones? Also, Mewtwo is an enhanced clone.

[up] They are, yes. There’s a seperate character called Enigma/Essex AI who isn’t a clone, but an AI, so he’s not being included

Here's the updated profile. Still needing to work on some things.

"In all my years of travel, nothing exhilarates me as much as the rush of Guangdong. In my experience, I find that one learns more about their homeland the more they travel, and only here have I found such a resolute drive, a full-blooded desire to go beyond limits and tradition to achieve the impossible. You can appreciate the irony: Guangdong itself is an impossible creation, yet its people devote themselves to unending, relentless aspiration in spite of it."

Komai Kenichirō, President of Hitachi
  • House: Businesses and Corporations, either Tyrannical Figures or Manners of Authority
  • Demigods
  • Symbol: Collectively, the flag of Guangdong. Individually, their corporate logos.
  • Theme Song: Silicon Dreams
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, with the exception of Morita Akio, who is Lawful Neutral with Good leanings. Ibuka Masaru becomes True Neutral, striving towards Neutral Good in his Reconciliation path.
  • Portfolio in General: Rulers of a corporate nation,
    • Morita Akio:
    • Matsushita Masaharu:
    • Ibuka Masaru:
    • Komai Kenichirō:
  • Domains: Corporations, Money, Profit, Arms Dealing
  • Heralds: Li Ka-shing, Stanley Ho and Ōmori Kan (Morita Akio), Matsushita Kōnosuke (Matsushita Masaharu), Yokoi Hideki, Tsuchida Kuniyasu (Matsushita Masaharu, Ibuka Masaru, Komai Kenichirō), Miyazaki Kiyotaka (Komai Kenichirō)
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: It's hard to usually pinpoint enemies since those allied to a specific Chief Executive sometimes opposes the other Chief Executives. For example, anyone allied with Komai Kenichirō is regarded as an enemy by Morita and Matsushita with the exception of Ibuka. But more specifically:
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Ibuka with Komai, due only being invited as a sideliner against Morita Akio, and consequently, Ibuka and Komai's allies tend to not work together willingly. But more specifically:
  • Opposes: AUTO (Ibuka Masaru)
  • Pitied by: Various good-aligned Sony deities (Morita Akio)
  • The State of Guangdong is an artificial Japanese colonial state carved out of China in a timeline where the Axis had an total victory over the Allies in World War II. Initially intended to be a retirement home for Japanese soldiers envisioned by Tōjō Hideki, after he was ousted from power at the end of the war, it instead became a playground of unrestrained capitalism, filled with crime, corruption and poverty, overseen by supposedly the Kanton Minseifu, the Guangdong Civil Administration, but in practice is mostly instead run by the biggest corporations in Guangdong, a fact that has been enforced with the Yasuda Crisis, which saw the Chief Executive Suzuki Teiichi being given a Vote of No Confidence and forced to resign, with the other corporate leaders forcing the now-powerless Representative Director of Yasuda Bank's Guangdong Branch Matsuzawa Takuji to the seat so that the now-disgraced Yasuda Bank can take even more brunt of their unpopular decisions, after which a power vacuum among the Sony, Matsushita Electricnote  and Fujitsu corporations occurs to take the seat of Chief Executive. Both Sony and Fujitsu would invite their respective allies, Cheung Kong and Hitachi to further strengthen their position, but Hitachi seeks to take the throne backed by their Manchurian and IJA connections to turn it into a Manchurian industrial state.
  • While the Chief Executives are barely recognizable in our own world with the exception of Morita Akio and Ibuka Masaru who founded Sony in our timeline, nevertheless, the corporations that they are associated with are easily more remembered than them most of the time. In a world where a new order was founded where National Socialism and Fascism is seen a potentially viable ideology, it too corrupted the corporations and the people associated with them: Ibuka Masaru would instead betray Morita Akio for Fujitsu caused by Tokyo Telecommunications' slow growth, starting a rivalry that did not end up as a friendship in our timeline, Matsushita Masaharu would attempt to further strengthen Matsushita Electric's hold on Guangdong to turn it into a corporate empire, and Komai Kenichirō will brutally implement the Manchurian system to industrialize Guangdong at the expense of the workers.
  • How the Chief Executives rose to the position was a pellicular one. The House of Commerce doesn't typically award titles through merits or something else- rather, they are to be held in an auction for various titles. One of them in particular was the One Nation Under Copyright trope, an auction held with the cooperation with the House of Leadership. Though the competition was fierce, in the end, the various Chief Executives of Guangdong managed to secure the title for themselves, an extremely rare moment of cooperation between them considering the ongoing behind-the-scenes plotting against each other. With this, they have managed to ascend to another sector of the House of Commerce where the corporations compete each other in a product cycle, a fierce race of both quality control and advertising which can be heard around the various Houses. Additionally, they also managed to branch out to weapons development, with them sending out weapons not just for profit, but to meet the goals they have to fulfill so that their weapon is seen as a potentially profitable venture, which is also why they sell them to the House of Weapons regardless of the outcome of various battles. Marketing in Guangdong is a tough business, and it is no different when they ascended to divinity.
  • Even though they rule over Guangdong, they are tiny flies compared to the Buy N' Large corporation, who managed to effectively become the world government rather than simply rule a nation. Reactions have been mixed, of course: Morita Akio, upon hearing of CEO Shelby Forthright's attempts to undo the damages done by his own corporation, has vowed to avoid the pitfalls that Buy N' Large fell into by enforcing his various environmental bills so that the Lion Rock Spirit can breathe more fresh air in Guangdong, Matsushita Masaharu is impressed by their growth and sheer magnitude of rule, but like Morita, he will use his environmental bills to prevent his corporate empire from facing the same fate as Buy N' Large, if only because such an environment would be inefficient for him, Ibuka Masaru laments that the technology that the managed to invent instead resulted in much of humanity becoming lazy in the future, and plans to reverse engineer their technology so that it instead results in a more hard-working humanity and to further his meritocratic vision, resulting in him opposing AUTO for allowing for such complacency, and Komai Kenichirō's reasons are similar, albeit using it to virtually turn the entire population into money-makers regardless of the cost of human life.
  • (Mr Robot)
  • (Triads)
  • The Yakuza are among the many criminals that lie within Guangdong, and have a fierce rivalry with the Triads, and it's not uncommon for a downright Mob War to occur every now once then. Ibuka has allied with them due to Morita allying with the Triads for their assistance towards the Chinese underclass, and much like the above, Matsushita is gathering evidence to prevent them from causing too much of a ruckus, and Komai occasionally uses them to kowtow anyone that threatens Hitachi's regime. Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, in spite of being Yakuza, downright oppose Ibuka and Komai for this, and for Kiryu in particular, Komai reminds him too much of Kyohei Jingu, a Corrupt Politician who also happened to be greedy. On the other hand, they are willing to work with Matsushita, albeit very reluctantly due to also being willing to dissolute part of the Yakuza as well, and even then, Kiryu feels way too uncomfortable with Matsushita due his motivations reminding him of Tsuneo Iwami, though Matsushita has assured that unlike him, he doesn't plan to betray his father any time soon. Yousuke Otona prefers to not be around the Chief Executives, aside from Morita as they remind him way too much of his past as a yakuza enforcer. Meanwhile, Masaya Okonogi downright despises all three for reminding him of the time he was exploited by the yakuza through his swindling father at a young age.
  • Due to being mostly Corrupt Corporate Executives, they are also considered to be a target by the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, though their threat priority differs: Morita Akio is considered a non-target due to him willing to reform the corporate system so that it can benefit the people, Matsushita Masaharu is lowest priority, Ibuka Masaru is dependent on whether he manages to persist in his vision of a technocratic future or not, and Komai Kenichirō is regarded as top priority to his extreme corruption. Komai is well aware of this and has taken notes from the Antisocial Forces' attempts to stave off the Phantom Thieves, albeit this time, making sure that no fools will try to sabotage each other and ensure that they stay down.
  • (Guangdong Riots)
  • (Nintendo)
  • (Other TNO deities?)
  • Of course, the more things change, the more they stay the same. No matter which Chief Executive is currently in charge of Guangdong, it never really changes that much. The only thing that does change is how much human cost is needed to produce profit and regardless, the dynamic of Guangdong consists of Japanese expats being the ruling class, the Zhujin middle-class, and the Chinese low-class. Such is life in Guangdong, where corporate visionaries become national ones.
  • Exclusive to Morita Akio:
    • (various Sony-related deities interactions)
  • Exclusive to Matsushita Masaharu:
    • Matsushita found surprising solidarity with Renata Glasc not just due to their position as powerful CE Os, but also genuinely hold them dear to their heart- For Matsushita, earning his father-in-law's Kōnosuke's approval, and for Reneta, in spite of her business policies going against her parents' interests, does hold them dear to her heart. While Matsushita is somewhat unnerved by her chemtech formula passed on from her parents, nevertheless, they get along surprisingly well because of their shared upbringing.
  • Exclusive to Ibuka Masaru:
  • Exclusive to Komai Kenichirō:
    • Graduating from Tokyo Imperial and later rising up the ranks of Hitachi Limited, Komai is one of the Reform Bureaucrats to have ascended in the pantheon, and such an innocent name hides the sheer amount of cruelty and exploitation of Imperial Japan. Under them, the Reform Bureaucrats subordinate most of their subjects' economies to extract their resources regardless of the human cost. As such, his ideology would find a place in Mordor, where industrialization was practically underway- Hitachi's presence just exacerbated the conditions over there, and the more money comes out of it, the better.
    • Hitachi's connections to Manchuria isn't just to its armies; Komai also has connections to the Kempeitai as well, and also the Imperial Japanese Army as an extension. Unfortunately for him, however, currently the Imperial Japanese Navy, which is regarded as somewhat less brutal compared to the IJA is currently the dominant faction of the armies of the Empire of Japan, which means that their members, such as Isoroku Yamamoto and Tamon Yamaguchi are very reluctant to work with him, though Masataka Shima is at the very least willing to work with him to further his personal ambitions. Because of this rather unique situation, he is considered to be a temporary commander for the Banzai Chargers, as they are willing to bayonet most of Hitachi's opposition until an proper IJA commander ascends.
"I am not a dictator - nor do I seek to become one."
Morita Akio
"I carry the weight of this company on my shoulders every day of my life."
Matsushita Masaharu
"Ideas aren't important; What's important is how you turn does ideas into reality."
Ibuka Masaru
"A company without firm direction or guiding philosophy will be rudderless."
Komai Kenichirō

[up]Amity Blight is the daughter of a similarly greedy and abusive CEO in Odalia Blight, a woman who has convinced herself that by aiding Emperor Belos' attempted genocide in the Day of Unity would get her greater status, to the point of becoming genuine royalty. She only truly wanted it for herself, as she's happy to condemn her husband to certain death after working him impossible and genuinely damaging hours, and abusing her kids while threatening Alador with making them work in the factories of Blight Industries to make weapons if he didn't do what she wanted. As Amity was the biggest victim of Odalia alongside her father (with Odalia even trying to indirectly get her girlfriend Luz Noceda killed to keep Amity under her thumb), it goes without saying that she will hate the guts of people like her. On Luz's side, she has always rebelled against corrupt societies like the ones the Oligarchs are on top of, so she wouldn't like them either.

For the Religious Practice situation. How about a New Hall, Religious Structure? As a way to separate the religions from the individual practice and behavior? Also, The Flagellant. His tropes, A Taste of the Lash, is a punishment trope, while used in religious punishment, the trope specificly is not a religious one? Where should it be transferred to?
