Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles:
Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.

- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.

- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I would like to post a draft for Lord Aldia, this will be draft one. In light of suggestions though, may I ask?
- Are there any notorious liars, perhaps those who keeps secrets about the universe or world?
- Are there any corrupt kings, who also seeked immortality?
- Lastly, are there people who has gone through a state of Transhumanism?
Young Troper, there are but two paths. Inherit the order of this world, or destroy it.
Aldia, Divine Achiever of Absolute Immortality (Lord Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin)
- Leitmotif: Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin
- Unknown Rank
- Symbol: A charred, deformed version of his head.
- Alignment: Possibly Chaotic Neutral or True Neutral after reaching the truth of his immortality.
- Portfolio: A being of mismatched roots and of unknowable power, Was Once a Man, Sought immortality to find the truth of the world, Wreathed in Flames, Reveals the truth about the world he leaves in, Completely away from the strands of humanity, The Soulless, Hinted and later proven the atrocities Gwyn has commited but not without flaws
- Domains: Life, Death, Immortality, Scholars, the First Sin
- Allies:
- Additional Relationships: The Bearer of the Curse
- Opposes: The House of Royalty, most liars in general.
- Enemies: Lord Gwyn
- The elder son of the fabled King Vendrick, Aldia and his brother sought to find a cure to the Undead Curse through every attempt, even so far as to sacrificing hundreds of lives, both human and non-human within the Kingdom of Drangleic. This would not last however, when the king revealed what Aldia has done on most of his subjects, mainly experimenting on their souls and flesh. This outcasted him into his keep forever, but not before realizing the curse upon the world and its source. This would eventually give him knowledge on the “immortality” he seeked and he succeeded on his goal where his brother failed. By splitting his soul from the curse, this would remove him from the cycles humanity was sealed into, thus, giving him complete freedom, but with a cost: his form would be inhuman, no longer recognizable. Now, he wonders the world, with nothing more but his conscience present.
- Aldia’s presence in the Pantheon was not forseen by many, as he was awaiting his time to appear after many events leading to him simply watching the series of conundrums caused by the various gods. Realizing that he has a chance to reveal himself, he successfully presented himself with an explosion followed by a rising temple covered in roots and fire. Those who heard the explosion thought it was nothing more as the sounds of war, but for the Bearer of the Curse, this meant one thing: Aldia has secured a position into Pantheon proper.
- "Many monarchs have come and gone. One drowned in poison, another succumbed to flame. Still another slumbers in a realm of ice. Not one of them stood here, as you do now. You conqueror of adversities. Give us your answer."
Ragyo Kiryuin merged herself with life fibers and tried to aid them in taking over planet Earth.
Uni catI just finished reading a Screen Shot Let's Play of Final Fantasy IX by Mega64, and I think that just like with my eventual rework of Golbez, Kuja deserves to go to the Ministry of Atonement as well, allegiance to Lord Chaos be damned.
It will probably involve Zidane saving him again just like in the post-Final Boss scene near the end.
Do you guys approve or not?
Additionally, I've been looking back at my current Cid rework, and I've been wondering. Is six Cids still too many Cids? Would it be best to just reduce the deities to Pollendina and Highwind instead, being Playable Characters and all?
Seriously, what else do you guys think I can add here?
Nier, Divine Herald of Save Data Deletion (Papa/Brother Nier, Replicant Nier, Twattycake, Defender of the Innocent)

- Conflicting Opinion: Yu Narukami, Ryotaro Dojima
- In video games, the best thing about them is that you can do whatever you want. Take Your Time, get Sidetracked by the Gold Saucer, level grind, and indulge in Video Game Cruelty Potential (and wait out your punishment before doing it all over again). After all, it's nothing a little Save Scumming can't fix, right? And then there are the games that threaten to take that away, too.
- Nier himself isn't someone who enforces this, but rather is a "victim" of this, yet his end was so It Was His Sled iconic that the Court decided to ascend Nier for Deletion as Punishment. But how do you bring back someone who was Ret-Gone? Well, that's because right before the deletion, they turned that "deletion" into a "file move", thus still removing Nier and everything about him from his world as they brought his "data" into the Pantheon and reconstructed him.
- That said, the deities at work on bringing Nier got things mixed up so that they ended up bringing in two Niers; one is a young adult, and one is middle-aged. As it was too late to rectify this issue, and because the retrieval teams technically both brought the "correct" Nier, it was decided that they both stay. After filling them in on what the Pantheon is all about.
- That said, by Word of God, the younger Nier is the "canonical" one because he'd be the type to sacrifice himself to save Kainé, the woman he loves, whereas the older Nier would be more likely to Mercy Kill her so he can be there for Yonah. But their ascension has already been done, so they both stay, and as a result of History Repeats, both of them are "canon" anyway.
- As for what is to be told about their worlds; they decided to relay the following (since some might tell them anyway out of spite): Nier's actions basically doomed the entire human race in their world to extinction. "Thankfully", there were still remnants on the moon that—millennia later—would eventually direct androids—such as 2B—to reclaim the planet from machines led by aliens (hey, millennia have passed; a lot can happen in that time). Although that turned out to be a farce perpetuated by YoRHa. The lie the Court did tell though was Yonah's (and Kainé's) fate. Rather than tell them she dies anyway to the Black Scrawl in a few years, they were instead told that she lived a fulfilling life until old age eventually claimed her.
- As for why Yonah and their friends could not be brought here, the Court says that that was the price of sacrificing their existence; the price cannot be rendered moot. Grimoire Weiss though was fair game since he did also sacrifice himself in the final battle and is being ascended soon. For the time being, they have to settle with simple swords (or lances).
- Applies to either Nier:
- Being from a world cursed with Endless Daytime, his first witnessing of night in the Pantheon left him in absolute awe, wishing that Yonah was here to see it.
- Thanks to the knowledge of his world's past, he greatly despises Caim and Angelus because their coming to their world led to its inevitable end. Caim on the other hand wants his weapons back as some of Nier's findings were originally his.
- While a good man who does good whenever he can, Nier's refusal to think about his actions tend to have some horrifying consequences. What he sees as monsters he refuses to see as possibly more than that. As such, he's often forced to stand down by deities with more restraint more times than either would like.
- On the plus side, though, he's willing to do even the most meager of tasks just for the sake of helping others.
- There are those who use Nier as an example of why you need to have perspective if you wish to be a hero, citing his ignorance resulting in being seen as a Complete Monster to the Shades as he even slaughtered their "children" as a prime reason.
- -Should I put in a Matt Hardy joke here?-
- Somehow, he can even drift with a giant boar! It needs to be seen to be believed.
- Thanks to a certain old man, Nier is an exceptional fisherman, able to pull out all sorts of aquatic life, including sharks and ancient fish. Now in the Pantheon, this sometimes also includes the aquatic monsters the Monster Hunters hunt.
- Has experience with having to face a ridiculous number of projectiles, though his weapons can harmlessly block them.
- Drowns in any water deeper than his ankles. Though he'll just lose a bit of health (unless in a safe haven) and wash up somewhere nearby for their troubles. The reason why is because he never knew how to swim, since he was forbidden from coming into contact with the precious water resources.
- Given what happened to humanity in their worlds, Berserker!Iji is reminded all too well of her own lack of thinking that also doomed hers. The worse part is that while Nier was doing it all for the sake of Yonah (with an added racism against Shades), she had "merely" sunk too deep in her rage against the invading aliens that she lost sight of her original objective; to get the invading aliens to leave Earth/Origin. By killing General Tor, the only one willing to listen (after taking a beating), the Komato responded with a full Alpha Strike.
- Given the very excessive measures Nier has done to rescue his sister (for Brother Nier)/daughter (for Father Nier), Yu and Ryotaro (who have similar family dynamics with Nanako, even though Yu is actually her cousin rather than her brother) are very disturbed by this and wonder what they would've done had they been in Nier's position. Would they have not cared about the human race all just to save her? In hindsight, of course they wouldn't (and would live with their consequences), but otherwise…
- Heard of what had happened to Emil through 2B and 9S, and is pissed with the latter since he stole from his house and later fought him.
- Exclusive to "Father" Nier:
- Word of Nier eventually reached Geralt as comparisons were drawn between him and the "newcomer"; both were white-haired swordsmen who are also fathers and use magic on the side. The differences became apparent when the two finally met though in a bar; Geralt's magic is his own whereas Nier uses Grimoire Weiss, he'll hold no comment over Yonah, Nier still goes out of his way to help the common folk while Geralt has long since given up on that (though he will help if he gets roped into it or if his loved ones are in danger), and there's also the "little" issue of Nier refusing to think things through when it comes to killing monsters, like if it's completely ambivalent, or even innocent, while Geralt isn't nearly as ignorant especially since Nier's actions brought about the extinction of the human race. The last bit triggered something fierce and it resulted in a swordfight Bar Brawl. They've been on bitter terms ever since.
- Incidentally, in that same bar, right before the fight, before he left, Vincent Brooks thought he heard a familiar voice that gave him facts about alcohol in the Stray Sheep. And then realized he remarked about that once before at Leblanc.

- Odd Friendship: Charlie Brown
- On neutral terms with: Bruce Wayne/Batman, the Joker
- Opposed by: I Hate Everything
- Conflicting Opinion:
- A D-List villain, Kite-Man is known for his thievery and his use of kites in his criminal activities. Sure, he actually uses a glider, but those are basically kites designed for carrying humans. And because of his theme, and the fact that he's the only one who performs this on a regular basis (well, as regular as a character like him can, anyway) rather than just a one-off, he was selected to join the Pantheon with this title.
- As for why he became a villain in the first place, here's why: During "The War of Jokes and Riddles", he was approached by Batman. As one of the engineers responsible for creating the Jokermobile, Batman convinced him to arrange a meeting with the Joker, which he begrudgingly agreed to do. Unfortunately, the Riddler caught wind of this, cornered Charles, and ordered him to double-cross the Joker and Batman. Chaos ensued at the meeting and he was dragged away by the Joker, who was surprisingly understanding of the betrayal and sent him to Batman with a suicide bomb.
- Except when he tried to detonate it, it turned out to be a complete dud. And then turns out the Riddler poisoned his son's kite string, who was using it to fly his kite the morning before Charles' meeting with the Riddler, which shortly ended in his death. Distraught with vengeance, he decided to take Joker's side in the war as Kite-Man.
- Eventually, in the war, Kite-Man was left for last as Batman defeated every villain on the Joker's side, and was shortly captured so he would leak Joker's location. He would then later end up allying with Batman, tricking the Riddler's forces into wearing special kites that flew them up to the Bat-Blimp for capture.
- In the end, it turns out the Riddler made Kite Man. He made him to be a joke. So that Joker would laugh again (he had been in a deep slump during the storyline).
- At present, when he's not performing heists as Kite-Man, he's inventing glider kites for his future heists or supplying them to other villains (or anyone else willing to buy, which includes some of the good guys). He also designs "jet-propelled inverse parachutes" that, instead of slowing descent, sped up ascent.
- Skeet once joked that Booster Gold was the Kite Man of the Justice League. Of course, he doesn't take that well.
- Kite-Man is well aware of his position in Gotham's criminal heirarchy (i.e. near the bottom) and that he's considered a joke by many. This is how he copes.
"All of us. We're all jokes. But the thing is, right, you got to laugh, too. It's the only way. I mean, you got to laugh with them. Okay, I'm a joke. I'm a joke and I'm funny! Then you're laughing with them. And if you're laughing with them. Then at least you're laughing."
- Sometimes, when he's not doing villain work, he can be found hanging with Charlie Brown and helping with flying his (regular) kite.
- "Hell, yeah!"

Uni catYet another repost for Sugar Rush. What else do you think this folio needs? Are details that could be related to the sequel Too Soon to be added?

Sugar Rush, Seat of Food-based Worlds
- A region where the majority of the landscape and structures consists seemingly of confectionery.
- Symbol: A Sugar Rush arcade console
- Portfolio: Wacky Racing, literally Tastes Like Diabetes, unrealistic cutesy saturated visuals, a Sugar Bowl Expy of Mario Kart
- Domains: Sweets, Food, Racing
- Sister regions: Rainbow Road, Sweet Sweet Canyon
- Governor: Currently under dispute.
- Vanellope was the former governor until she left on her own accord.
- Sacred to: Its inhabitants: the Sugar Rush racers and their fans, as well as the various individuals who maintain the facilities within
- Unholy to: Ashley, Gertrude
- Barred from entry: Pac-Man (formerly), Kirby, Kero - pretty much any god with a Big Eater or Sweet Tooth attitude; as well as King Candy.
- Vanellope von Schweetz's game which ascended when she took her place as Goddess of Ascended Glitches.
- As soon as one enters this domain coming from the rainbow bridge, their first sight is the vast sweet-based landscape that extends to as far as the eye can see. Most of the "foliage" is made out of candy, the "seas" are made out of taffy and/or chocolate milk and the like, and even the buildings feature elements seemingly made out of confectionery. Its landscape varies from the thickets of its candy cane forest to the snow-covered peaks in its mountains. The majority of its population (mostly humanoid anthropomorphic candies) is concentrated in a central town which this rainbow path seemingly leads into. Landmarks like the Castle and Diet Cola Mountain decorate the horizon. The Racecourse is very visible from the high point of the road of entry.
- Sugar Rush is a place where the inhabitants race to determine the roster for playing every single day. Vanellope, who had been forcefully Dummied Out by Turbo Racer/King Candy wished to race but couldn't. Ralph found this place and, after an event that nearly caused Sugar Rush to be destroyed, helped Vanellope finish the race and restore Sugar Rush to its proper glory.
- This domain can be substituted for certain Mario Kart courses following approval via unanimous vote by an ongoing race's participants.
- Examples:
- Its snowy region can substitute for Frappe Snowland.
- Its central plaza can substitute for Sweet-Sweet Canyon.
- The cavernous section with a rainbow-colored track can fill in for various settings, including Rainbow Road.
- Examples:
- Some of the frequent visitors to this domain include Wreck-It Ralph, as well as Mario and other deities with a notable Mascot Racer game. Fix-It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun have been logging more frequent visits recently.
- Due to the Cy-Bug incident, Vanellope has asked that many of the Big Eater gods (Pac-Man, Kirby, Kero, etc.) stay far, far away from Sugar Rush.
- Following Vanellope's absence, the other racers have agreed to restart negotiations to all the Sweet Tooth Big Eater deities to rescind this ban. They agreed to immediately talk with Pac-Man as they noticed he had a a kart-racing game of his own, and was even featured in the arcade installments of Mario's own grand prix. So far, the racers do not mind him coming over to race, though they will keep a sharp eye on him. Talks with the others are to be resumed once the succession crisis is resolved.
- Likewise, recorded usurpers are also prohibited entry since the same incident was directly related to King Candy. The Racers agree to never rescind this ban, even as a new ruler takes hold. Any individual identified as such will be unconditionally ejected.
- Its residents have a huge watch on Ashley, since she, aside from being despising sweets, is outright willing to utilize her powers to damage, if not destroy, Sugar Rush.
- Its traditional monarchy was abolished by Vanellope in favor of a democracy with her as the initial leader and the racers acting as a parliamentary body. Unfortunately, following her absence into a new game, a power vacuum has emerged. During this crisis, expect heightened security upon attempting to visit.
- As a result, the racers are debating upon the best means to elect their governor. Some of the more skilled ones propose settling this dispute via a race tournament, but likewise, the underdogs would claim they would be left out.
- The racers have also unanimously agreed to restrict nominations to Sugar Rush's endemic population.

EclipseMT/MendicantECT/729MT. Steam gamer, summoner, and outright everything elseI've got 1 for Youta and Lumi. Not sure how to approach the idea of Lumi trying to get educated: her trying to learn math was a one-off thing and what I gathered is that she's Book Dumb, not outright stupid. She's made a number of astute observations and she knows exactly how to deal with the monsters from her world (the monsters all have unique One-Hit Kill weak points, so she at least has a good memory). For what it's worth, I'm not sure she'd be overly interested in a formal education.
Another thing that should be noted about Lumi is that with her acting like a goofy Hormone-Addled Teenager a lot of the time, it's easy to forget how freaking good she is with her sword. To date, she's brought down a wyvern with one hit, gone toe-to-toe with the Kall (demons with random weak points on top of being Lightning Bruisers: even the best warriors are wary of them), bounded up a cliff wall like a ninja and killed a Terra Golem with no real sign of difficulty, and managed an attack on Grakos that took off all of its tentacles with one swing before she succumbed to seasickness.
Youta Tada, The Living Aphrodisiac (The Sun)
- Quasideity
- Symbol:
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Really Gets Around, Arouses the girls of the Parallel World with a single touch, Chivalrous Pervert, Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Wholesome Crossdresser, Intending to kill the God of Deep Jealousy, Weak, but Skilled in Kendo, Bishōnen
- Domains: Sex, Other Worlds, Deicide
- Allies: Lumi the Paladin (his lover), Issei, Luka
- Enemies: Lucy
- An ordinary high school student, Youta was, out of nowhere, thrown out the third floor window of his school by a creepy figure dressed in rags. When he came to, he had been pulled into an alternate world populated entirely by women, and quickly found that he was able to sexually arouse them with a single touch. It quickly became apparent, however, that this 'paradise' was a sick, sad world at its core: 3000 years before, an evil deity known as the "God of Deep Jealousy" put a curse on the human race, wiping out all men and condemning the women to die before the age of 20 if they didn't mate with a man. Youta made a vow after seeing the curse claim one of the friends he had made that he would wipe out the God who had done such a horrible thing. Now he seeks answers alongside the first girl he met in the parallel world, a beautiful paladin named Lumi.
- Youta actually counts himself lucky that in the Pantheon, his Living Aphrodisiac trait only really affects Lumi: he admits that trying to keep himself from accidentally touching people can become a bit of a hassle at times. As such, he expresses a bit of pity for Luka, who not only is unable to turn of his monster-attracting scent, but he doesn't have to touch monster girls to arouse them. He's become friends with the young warrior, and has been getting a bit of swordplay training from him: as much as he'd like to ask Lumi to train him, he can see a situation like that quickly going off the rails.
- Had a close call when he noticed a severe-looking young woman with bright red hair: for a moment he thought that it was Haru, the woman who had refused to mate with him and consequently died of the curse. Upon getting closer to her and calling out her name, he was on the receiving end of a withering Death Glare: realizing that it wasn't Haru and that approaching the Diclonius would end badly for him, he made a hasty retreat.
- Issei expressed incredible jealousy at the idea of being able to arouse women with a touch like Youta can. Upon learning the specifics, however, Issei offered to lend a hand at killing what he referred to as a 'scumbag bastard god'.
- He and Lumi were approached by Princess Cadance, who after hearing about Youta's 'adventures' in the parallel world intended to give him one of her patented lectures. She was initially surprised to see the two put up their defenses as she approached, Lumi actually grabbing the hilt of her sword and preparing to draw it. The situation was quickly cleared up: the two thought that like the unicorns from Lumi's home world, Cadance intended to attack them for being non-virgins. With that out of the way, Cadance made sure to stress that even if Lumi was okay with Youta sleeping around, it still stresses their relationship, and he shouldn't take it for granted. Youta responded simply that if sex was his priority, he would've just stayed in the city of Meath with Lumi. He wouldn't be trying to kill a god. Cadance thought for a moment, then shrugged and nodded.
- The existence of the Parallel World has become the subject of an attempted power play by Kyu Sugardust and Cadance: Kyu wants to smuggle her (male) clients into the Parallel World and see if she can easily hook them up with the women (for the greater good), while Cadance has thrown her support behind trying to kill the God of Deep Jealousy and breaking the curse, thus taking away any excuses Kyu might have. More than one god has expressed bemusement at the near Death Note levels of conspiracy and gambits the two are embroiled in over such a ridiculous world.
Lumi, the Goddess That Must Mate or Die
- Demigoddess
- Symbol: Her sword, with Genius◊ perched on the hilt
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Portfolio: Hormone-Addled Teenager, Boobs Of Steel, Brainless Beauty, All Women Are Lustful, would have died if she hadn't mated with Youta, Luminescent Blush, Cute Bruiser, Clingy Jealous Girl
- Domains: Sex, Other Worlds, Death, Love
- Allies: Youta Tada (her lover)
- Enemies:
- A Paladin from a world parallel to Earth, Lumi was, for the longest time, subject to the millennium-old curse the God of Deep Jealousy placed on the world, which would have killed her before she turned 20 had she not mated with a man. As the same curse had wiped men from existence, she was resigned to her fate. However, she met Youta Tada, who had been dragged into her world from Earth. Eventually, the two mated, breaking the curse's hold on her. Now the two intend to kill the God of Deep Jealousy and break the curse on everyone else.
- Despite acknowledging the need for Youta to mate with girls from her world, Lumi sure as hell doesn't like having to share. She's immensely relieved that the Pantheon's women don't have the same genetic drive she has, meaning she gets Youta all to herself! Unfortunately, in the Pantheon, the roles are reversed: while Youta had to be careful not to touch any of the women in the parallel world, here Lumi has to avoid the men, lest she touch them and go into heat...
- Lumi is ostensibly a paladin, and there's no question as to her skill with a blade. However, she lacks any sort of holy magic endemic to her job class, barring the white-element sword Caliburn she wields. Due to people all dying so young in her world, such knowledge is hard to come by, if not lost entirely.
- Lumi and Youta were approached by Princess Cadance, who intended to lecture Youta about how he sleeps around despite being in love with Lumi. This initially didn't go well for the Alicorn, who trotted up to the two of them and very nearly got her head chopped off by Lumi: the paladin had had a run-in with a unicorn from her world after losing her virginity and nearly got bucked in the face. After assuring them that she, and for that matter any other unicorn from Equestria has nothing against non-virgins, Cadance lectured the two of them about Youta sleeping around. As Youta explained, his goal is to kill the God of Deep Jealousy, and then spend a happy life with Lumi. He has no intention of sleeping around for the hell of it and in fact takes great pains to avoid sending the women from the parallel world into heat.
- Was approached on one occasion by a small, fuzzy weasel-like creature: as the deities from her world roundly look like small plush toys, Lumi asked the being if he was a god. Kyubey confirmed that a few civilizations saw him as a god, and then made his offer: considering that Lumi is intending to help Youta kill a god, she needs as much power as she can get. If she made a contract with him, she could become strong enough to fight the God of Deep Jealousy. Lumi probably would have said yes, had an energy blast not wiped Kyubey from existence. Lumi was left standing stunned amid falling black feathers, before the unsettling feeling she was getting won out and she made a hasty retreat.
Okay, so I've been doing some serious tweaking, and I think Slappy's just about right to ascend. What do you think?
@faso: You're right. I apologize. I'm just desperate for feedback for Nier, and I'm sure Kite-Man's profile isn't at all long ass. I think you're referring to the FF IV party for the other long ass profile; they're on their way to ascension, so I don't think you should worry. And Odio and the Miraculous-users duo over on the restructure thread (the latter is ready to get reworked soon.
The FF IV deities are being reposted tomorrow, though. No earlier.
@Parallel Paradise deities: Needs more deity interactions before I can give any approval. There're likely more "players" in the game of "rescuing" the women of that world than just Cadance and Kyu (in fact, here's what I think: I don't think the love fairy would've gotten involved at all were it not for the alicorn princess acting preemptively just in case she does... which inadvertently spurs Kyu into getting invovled).
I think the only reason I managed to make an exception for Anataeus in regards to interactions is because not only does the game he comes from actually have very little in terms of storyline or character (but not compared to other Programming Games, most of which don't even have that), he's also antisocial.
Just pointing that out in case anyone calls me out on this.

TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseYou guys think Fox McCloud is good as an Intermediate God?
His crew and Wolf are all Lesser, technically Fox has nothing that put him above the others.
Being top tier in Melee doesn't count
Uni catWhat qualities measure a deity within the "Greater/Intermediate/Lesser God" scale? IMHO, I'd keep him under Intermediate given that he is the leader of the Star Fox team In-Universe and is the series mascot. The only thing keeping him from Greater God status is that he doesn't have that much in strength of arms and is from an oft-neglected franchise of Nintendo.
EclipseMT/MendicantECT/729MT. Steam gamer, summoner, and outright everything elseI would say lesser. I mean, he no Samus in the power department.
Then the same goes for Ezio, then? On he other hand, though, while Fox only leads a small mercenary force, Ezio leads an entire organization of Assassins, some who eventually go off and start their own sects. Before leading it, though, when Cesare burnt down the Assassins' town of operations, he (with help from a few others) rebuilt it from the ground up.
This is not a counterargument. This is a question for whether or not this demotion should be done on him as well.

TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseI think under those constraints, the whole Pantheon would need to be gone over to re-evaluate deity ranks.
When I read the ranking system, i interpreted it as "being badass would only net you Demigod status." Intermediate Gods are basically strong magic users.
edit: I think the big source of confusion is the statement that says rank should equate to their influence in the pantheon.

- When Slappy first got trapped back in his book, he secretly managed to find an evil spell that would help him escape his book, when he chanted the spell, he thought about where he could cause chaos next, he stumbled upon a temple and wondered who could be inside, but the lights turned on, and he ran into other characters, in the House of Otherness. They had read about Slappy's chaos over of years, and seen his film, they were impressed the one dummy could so despicable. A couple of them said he had an Ironic Name as he was not a dummy, then he started to discuss his evil plans to the crowd. He even noticed the Joker's voice was almost similar to his.
- Speaking of The Joker he noticed Slappy's bad sense of humor he used on others, and he loved him for that reason. Until now, he'd never meet anyone so insanely evil, other than himself.
- When Erma found out Slappy ascended in the Pantheon he thought she would have a repeat of the Wittle Wallace incident.
- He often grabs some ''Night of The Living" books to look back at how a was, and compare the past and modern versions. He regretted ever being that weak, and doesn't like talking to the others about this subject.
- He was annoyed that he was featured on the cover of ''Night of the Living Dummy'', but mainly appeared in cameos in the book until the ending. Even then, Mr. Wood was the main villain. Slappy swore he would find the author of the book and kill him at any means necessary.
- Being a living embodiment of evil, he hardly has any allies at all. The closest thing he has to that, are the other monsters, and even some of them are his enemies. Then again, he made friends with some of the other horror icon villains, especially Freddy Krueger being the literal god of nightmares, and
- When he became one of the faces of horror books and movies, and the mascot of Goosebumps he taunted some of the others, proud to know that he beat Mr. Wood at something for once.
- When he watched the film adaptation of the book series, he noticed R.L. Stine sounded almost identical to him, he decided if Stine ever made it to the Pantheon, he would use him for one of his later plans.
- Slappy often teams up with Lotso, since both of them are seemingly harmless toys who are both absolute monsters, one time he did an insulting call using Po's voice to make Shifu and the Furious Five think he was the crook and Lotso led the team astray from the culprit. Eventually, Master Viper realized Po would never say anything that rude, and realized Slappy and Lotso were the masterminds behind the prank, and the team punished the troublesome two by dipping them in tie-dye.
- One the things he did in the Pantheon was go after another Living Toy, but this one was heroic, he was Pinocchio. He snuck up to the people Pinocchio was close with, and insulted their personal lives and appearances. The others was surprised that Pinocchio even had that in him since he's usually very nice, some wondered who the real culprit was. Just then Jiminy Cricket noticed someone's footprints, that made a trail to a certain location. Jiminy followed the trail, and caught Slappy red-handed ... literally. When Jiminy ratted Slappy out the gods and cleared Pinocchio's name, he made Slappy stay at least 3 feet away from Pinocchio for a whole week.
- He also encountered The Toy Story Gang, and pretended to be another owner's ventriloquist and the heroes' friend. Most of the gang brought his kindness act, but Mr. Potato Head got suspicious, thinking he looked nothing like the others. Mr. Potato Head asked him some quick personality questions about his life and interests, but Woody told Mr. Potato Head to calm down and thought some things should to be keep to himself. He introduced Slappy to the gang and told him to make himself at home. As soon as he was alone, he quickly grabbed a screwdriver and loosed the screws on Buzz's wings to make them fall off of Buzz. He drew clues that pointed to Sheriff Woody and made him look like the culprit. Nobody could believe Woody would do such a thing (Except Mr. Potato Head, he thought Woody was bad from the start). Jessie wished Bo Peep was there to defend Woody's case, but she wasn't, so she'd have to clear Woody's name herself. She picked up the screwdriver to see if there were any fingerprints on it. She didn't see any, but she did she a small piece of fabric, she knew she had seen somewhere before. She showed it to the team and Rex thought it was from the Slappy figure. So then, Jessie looked at Slappy's suit and it matched. Slappy tried to deny it, but then screws feel out of his shirt, framing him, and giving the toys the evidence the needed. They forced Mr. Potato Head to apologize to Sheriff Woody and Slappy to screw Buzz's wings back on. Woody started to wonder if Lotso was nearby planning his revenge.
- Slappy was impressed with The Nestene Consciousness and how he created plastic killing machines called Autons. Slappy wanted to team up with him, Nestene wasn't interested and told Slappy the "beat it".
- Manny Pardo overheard a conversation about Slappy getting ascended, and he was crazy scared, he tried to stay away from Slappy as often as possible. Slappy noticed this, and he let out an Evil Laugh, proud to know someone was afraid of him and what he was capable of.
- Let's get one thing clear, he's not a dummy!
The portolio is updated, the powers are listed, and he has plenty of relationships and references to the books, TV series and films. Got any suggestions?
Someone talked about removing any mention of the Great Upheaval in the Pantheon a while ago. I still see references to it in the Main House deities' profiles (i.e. Madoka being sealed down to Demigoddess). Should we do something about that, like that person suggested, or...?
Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.I would rid of the mention.
Alright, that's one vote in favor of deleting the mention. Anyone agree or disagree?
Actually, nevermind. If someone needs me to put the mention back, I'll copy-paste it from the page's history.

- One of the first things he commented on was the state of war in the Pantheon. Despite this, none of the gods in the war were determined to listen to him and stop it.
