    Alejandro

"Watch out, Total Drama nerds. This new guy is going all the way to the top."

Voiced by: Marco Grazzini (World Tour), Keith Oliver (while trapped in the Drama Machine), Alex House (All-Stars)
Label: The Arch Villain
Teams: Team Chris is Really, Really, Really, Really Hot, Villainous Vultures
Placements: 1st/2nd (TDWT), 6th (TDAS)
Eliminated in: Episode 26 (TDWT), Episode 10 (TDAS)

A proud and talented Spanish-Canadian whose way with the ladies is unmatched. Alejandro is as dashing, rugged, and charismatic as he is ruthless, manipulative, and cruel. With his ability to smooth-talk his way out of any situation, this handsome devil knows all too well how to exploit the faults of his fellow contestants.

  • A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: It takes a while for the other contestants to catch onto his manipulative ways.
  • The Ace: Alejandro might be the most prominent example of the "Ace" part, taking it to Master of All levels.
  • Achilles' Heel: His one weakness is having a very sensitive stomach, which is problematic being on a show like Total Drama, which prides itself on its disgusting food.
  • All Abusers Are Male: During World Tour, he was the one who caused or influenced the eliminations of a collective half of that season's female contestants (mainly through charisma), so it's no surprise as to why almost nobody trusts him (not just those same female victims of his) near the end of that same season.
  • Always Someone Better: His big brother José, who had beaten him in practically everything since they were kids. However, Alejandro finally manages to gain the upper hand on him during the All-Stars boxing challenge.
  • Ambiguously Bi: He showed a lot of Ho Yay towards Noah as he blatantly flirted with him in the Japan and Newfoundland episodes. However, Alejandro also flirted with several girls before starting a romance with Heather.
  • And I Must Scream: He gets trapped in a robot suit at the end of season three. Initially, he is able to speak through a communication chip but it soon breaks, leaving him unable to communicate to anyone for a year.
  • Arch-Enemy:
    • To Heather initially, being the only contestant able to match her wit. The two of them clash all season long in World Tour determined to thwart the other.
    • To Owen, though being very one-sided on Alejandro's side. There is no one Alejandro hates more than Owen, resenting him for his disgusting habits, his uselessness, and the fact he keeps calling him "Al". Alejandro spends all season long trying to get rid of Owen, leave him behind, or making Owen get hurt out of spite.
  • Babysitter's Nightmare: According to his World Tour online biography, he's had the ability to sniff out a person's weakness since childhood and used it to get a lot of nannies fired.
  • Badass Boast: His first confessional has one of these.
Alejandro: Watch out, Total Drama nerds. The new guy is going all the way to the top.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: He is the winner of World Tour in the Canadian ending, but he doesn't get his hands on the cash prize as it fell into the volcano and ends up in a robotic body due to the horrible injuries he suffered.
  • Bad Samaritan:
    • One of his favorite strategies is charming other contestants, feigning sympathy and kindness, in order to gain their trust before proceeding to backstab them somewhere down the line.
    • The best example would be helping DJ overcome his lack of confidence due to the curse, and even appears to cure DJ's curse. This all turns out to be a ruse so that he could secure DJ's allegiance. Once Chris reveals that having DJ change teams and merging was off the table, Alejandro wastes no time in destroying DJ's regained confidence and sabotaging the challenge to eliminate him.
  • Barely-Changed Dub Name: In the Canadian French dub, his name is changed to "Alessandro".
  • Beard of Evil: He has a soul patch, and he's called "the arch villain" for good reason.
  • The Beast Master: He's very good at controlling wild animals, even Ezekiel in his feral state, at least until "Zeek and Ye Shall Find".
  • Beauty Is Bad: He's a lying, back-stabbing jerk, but... would you look at those eyes?
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Throughout World Tour, Alejandro and Heather butt heads over their competitive nature and desire to be the game's strongest competitor. Throughout this arc, however, it's very clear that they're attracted to one another, in part because they respect each other as rivals. This culminates in a Love Confession at the top of the volcano in the finale... but Heather betrays him, causing this arc to continue into All-Stars until they become an actual lovey-dovey couple in that season's finale.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Despises being called 'Al'. It's one of the main reasons that drives him to hate Owen.
    • Hates it when people bring up his brother José, or even say the name.
    • Calling any aspect of Heather unattractive (even if it is her personality) is a surefire way to get a No Holds Barred Beat Down from him, as José finds out in "Suckers Punched".
  • Big Bad: Of World Tour, stirring up trouble all season by being responsible for eliminating and manipulating other contestants. Nearly every booted contestant can be traced back to Alejandro in some shape or form and everyone ends up despising him.
  • Big Bad Friend: Wholly embodies this trope throughout World Tour, especially with his fellow members of Team Chris. If he's being particularly nice or helpful to a contestant besides them, their days are numbered. Everyone on Team Victory who wasn't named Ezekiel or Lindsay individually learned this the hard way. Comes back to bite him in All Stars when he's doing relatively little scheming, but people still don't trust his word about a certain other contestant...
  • Bilingual Bonus: His last name means "dead donkey".
  • Birds of a Feather: As stated many times by characters, he and Heather are perfect for each other, being equally vile and manipulative. They endlessly fought when there was money up for grabs, but once that was out of the way they were all too happy to get together.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He's very nice and charming... until he's alone in the confessional and shows his true colors.
  • Broken Ace: As cunning and skillful as he is he could never live up to his brother and it left him very insecure.
  • The Casanova: Throughout World Tour, Alejandro would flirt and charm every girl he comes across, either using them to further his own placing or backstabbing them once they have been lured into a false sense of security.
  • Characterization Marches On: He drops his puppet master facade in All-Stars since he has long since been exposed and instead focuses on getting revenge on Heather for humiliating him in the previous season. Though he still remains very strategic and still manages to put some plans into motion despite the lack of trust from others.
  • The Charmer: He's so likable the other contestants—especially the girls—need to repeatedly remind themselves that he's evil.
    Gwen: I know he's evil, but...those eyes...
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: He gets disqualified from the eating contest in "Chinese Fake-Out" after Chris finds out he was secretly giving his food to Courtney.
  • The Chessmaster: He has been the almighty puppet master since he first joined the cast, and has been pulling at everyone's strings all the way to the end. Which is very symbolically well put in his Villain Song This Is How We Will End It.
  • Chick Magnet: He invokes this in his gameplay. He's so charismatic and attractive, he was able to manipulate almost every female character in the season by flirting with them, either throwing them off their game or using their alliance to get him ahead.
  • Child Prodigy: He did stunts in a child circus.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: The first Big Bad to be both a chessmaster with strategic smarts, while also being polite and charming and possessing a good reputation among his fellow contestants. His predecessors were either strategic but disliked by others (Heather and Courtney), or well-liked by everyone but have little in the way of cunning (Justin).
  • Crying Wolf: Due to his history as a Manipulative Bastard, no one believes him when he tries to warn the other contestants about Mal in All-Stars.
  • Dashing Hispanic: A proud Spaniard, who's a Master of All and one of the deadliest contestants on the show.
  • Demoted to Dragon: Invoked by Chris, when he and Heather are brought back in the All-Stars finale as Mal's helpers, although they're too busy being Sickening Sweethearts to really be much help to Mal.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Alejandro was constantly subjected to bullying by his older brother Jose, turning him into what he is today. In "Suckers Punched," he finally snaps and starts to beat the crap out of his brother for all those years, with the added bonus of winning a point for his team.
  • Dub Name Change: In the Canadian French version Alejandro is known as Alessandro, which is more Italian than Spanish.
  • Early Personality Signs: He's not just an exceptionally smooth, athletic, and talented teenager, but a charismatic and underhanded Child Prodigy. He was in a child circus for his gymnastic ability, smooth-talked his school bus driver into letting him drive, and exploited his nannies' weaknesses to run them out numerous times.
  • Embarrassing Last Name: His last name "Burromuerto" is Spanish for "dead donkey," which is pointed out and mocked in All-Stars.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In spite of everything that's happened between them (including him eliminating Heather as revenge for the humiliation he suffered during the finale of World Tour), it's clear that Alejandro loves Heather to the point that calling any aspect of her unattractive is a major Berserk Button of his.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Despite being a manipulative villain who'd gladly backstab anybody, Alejandro dislikes the idea of senseless violence and occasionally shows genuine concern over wounded or otherwise incapacitated contestants. In accordance with this, he's expressed horror and disgust at the cruelty of some of his fellow antagonists.
Alejandro: (to Chris) You are pure evil!
Alejandro: Mal does not belong in juvie...he belongs in jail!
  • Even the Guys Want Him: To the point that Tyler (who is very much in love with his girlfriend Lindsay) enters a panicked bout of Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today? if Alejandro so much as touches him.
  • Everyone Can See It: His feelings for Heather became rather obvious later on, with everybody in the cast (and Chris) pointing it out.
  • Evil Genius: He is one of the most intelligent contestants on the show, with an IQ of 163. He especially fills this role for the Villainous Vultures in All-Stars.
  • Evil Laugh: He somehow manages to make even this sound sexy.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: His voice is noticeably higher in All-Stars paralleling how significantly less evil he is this season, although this may not have been intentional, as it was due to his VA being replaced.
  • Eviler than Thou: In his debut, he declares that he's so evil that even Heather seems like a saint when compared to him. He's correct for the most part, but his underestimation of Heather's ruthlessness would eventually lead to his defeat in the World Tour finale.
  • Evil Versus Evil:
  • Ex-Big Bad: The most prominent example other than Heather. During World Tour, Alejandro proved himself to be the nastiest Total Drama villain of all time, manipulating and backstabbing his way through the season all the way to the finale, and having a hand in almost everyone's eliminations. Come All-Stars, unsurprisingly there is no one who trusts him due to his heinous past. This causes trouble for him once a threat greater than him emerges in the form of Mal. Being one of the few characters aware of Mal's true nature, Alejandro's attempts to warn everyone else falls on mostly deaf ears with everyone believing he's Crying Wolf.
  • Eyepatch of Power: He has to wear an eyepatch in "The Am-AH-Zon Race".
  • False Friend: Alejandro isn't above feigning friendships to get ahead, and it's the core way he manipulates his male targets to trust him. For example, he provides DJ with an Egyptian-eye-marked fish as a good luck charm, claiming to have his best interests in mind so DJ will ally with him. When it doesn't work out, Alejandro reveals to Tyler (deliberately within earshot of DJ) that he drew a fake symbol on the fish, shattering DJ's newfound luck and confidence, all while claiming he just wanted to make DJ feel better.
  • Fatal Flaw: Underestimating people. Due to his extreme narcissism he always believes he's the smartest person in the room, which gives him blind spots whenever other people are underhanded or manipulative. This was shown twice in World Tour when it was only through sheer luck that he found out that Noah was onto him and that Courtney was sabotaging her own team, and ultimately led to his downfall when Heather used his feelings for her to humiliate him in the finale. This also led to his downfall in All-Stars when he found out about Mal's true nature and grabbing the Idiot Ball pretty hard, told him to his face while bragging that he was gonna tell everyone. Not only did this cause Mal to instead convince everyone to eliminate him since he'd lost all credibility by that point, he also failed to take into account that Mal was much stronger than he looked and was subjected to a Curb-Stomp Battle preventing him from getting immunity. His second fatal flaw was his love for Heather. As throughout World Tour he passed up several opportunities to get her eliminated, most notably saving her when she was trapped under a rock, and all of this came to bite him on the ass when she used his feelings to manipulate him in the finale.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Presents himself as a polite and friendly gentleman to hide his cruel and ruthless nature.
  • Fighting the Lancer: On Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot; Alejandro clashes with Lancers Noah and Duncan, who both see through him to his true nature and pose as threats to him. However, the master manipulator manages to come out victorious on both occasions and successfully orchestrates their eliminations.
  • Flaw Exploitation: He takes pride in his talent to sniff out someone's weakness and immediately exploit it. As shown in "Greece's Pieces", as soon as he senses animosity between Duncan, Gwen and Tyler, he immediately goes to every effort to find out what it is, so that he can use it to his advantage.
  • Foil:
    • He is essentially a Spear Counterpart to Heather. Both being the Big Bad of a season and orchestrated numerous eliminations, while forming several alliances to safeguard their place in the game. However unlike Heather, who was an Alpha Bitch who governed her alliances through fear and earned a bad reputation for herself, Alejandro's approach involved winning over the trust of others by feigning kindness and kept his true nature hidden from the public. As Noah puts it, he's basically Heather but with social skills.
    • To Owen. Aside from both being male finalists, they are otherwise as different as night and day, which is little wonder why Alejandro despises Owen so much. Owen is an All-Loving Hero and an all-round Big Fun Nice Guy who is adored by all. Alejandro is a Big Bad Friend who pretends to be a gentle soul, but in reality this is an act and he cares for no one but himself and winning. Owen is an unathletic ditz with an occasional challenge he excels at (most notably eating), Alejandro is The Ace and an Evil Genius who excels at everything and on rare occasion shows a weakness (notably having a weak stomach to disgusting food). Owen went into the finale surrounded by friends with the majority rooting for him, while Alejandro's finale had almost no one supporting him (save for a few girls still under his charms) and with everyone yearning for his downfall.
    • To Duncan, who he is a near perfect opposite of. Duncan maintains a tough, hostile exterior but scratch the surface and you'll find a softer caring side. Alejandro puts on a charming act to hide a vileness underneath. Duncan starts off alienating everyone with his intimidating bully act, but soon garnered quite a lot of friends after they got to know him. Alejandro was initially adored by everyone, sans Heather, before he betrayed each of them one by one until he was left with no one but Heather. Further contrasts are seen with their relationship with Owen: while Duncan is one of Owen's best buddies, Alejandro came to despise Owen from the start. Duncan also gets along well with his brothers, while Alejandro had a Big Brother Bully and it's implied this Sibling Rivalry is part of his Freudian Excuse.
    • To Harold of all people. Both of them possessa wide array of bizarre but useful talents that they tend to pull out of nowhere to help their teams win challenges (usually justified with a short anecdote about their backstories). Still, while Harold is a Socially Awkward Hero who unintentionally annoyed his teammates while (usually) being heroic and well-intentioned, Alejandro is a The Charmer and extremely popular with his teammates, and ruthless and villainous. Harold's good qualities win him the respect and appreciation of his teammates, while Alejandro's negative qualities gain him the hatred of almost everyone on the show.
    • To Justin, both are highly good looking and charismatic, and gain intense reactions from everyone they meet. They both but on polite, affable facades to hide their highly manipulative and narcissistic personalities, but Justin's spent his whole life coasting on his looks and never developed any skills or intellect, Alejandro on the other hand is The Ace, he's basically what Justin would have been if he'd ever had to work for anything in his life.
    • To Courtney, they're both highly driven, overly competitive perfectionists who are controlling, narcissistic and secretly very insecure. But Courtney has No Social Skills and easily makes others hate her just by thinking only of herself and never taking others' feelings into account whereas Alejandro is highly manipulative and will often convince people he's their friend and looking out for their best interests while in reality using them for his own purposes. Courtney sees herself as a good person and doesn't understand why others don't like her whereas Alejandro prides himself on being the evilest person in the room.
  • Foreign-Language Tirade: He speaks his native language when he is frustrated.
  • Foreshadowing: A couple of elements related to him were alluded to some of the episodes of World Tour before each of them would be later revealed:
    • He throws up in "Super Happy Crazy Fun Time Japan" after eating a candy fish tail indicating that he has a low tolerance for strange food. This ends up being a plot point during the eating contest challenge in "Chinese Fake-Out".
    • Owen was one of the few contestants he had a personal dislike towards due to constantly calling him "Al" and "perverting" his name. It's later revealed that it was his brother Jose's personal nickname for him that he tormented him with.
      • In "Suckers Punched", he would have to face Jose in his boxing match.
    • During the song "Wake Up", one of his singing lines is "Loser is what the lion called you, when you couldn't find your balls". While he actually meant the tranq(uilizer) balls, as he stated later, this also foreshadows his ultimate comeuppance from Heather by kneeing him right at his "kiwis", and that he never gets the million-dollar prize physically on either of the season-finale endings of World Tour (in addition to that, not only he got trampled by the other contestants, but he also got severely burnt by lava).
  • Freudian Excuse: His father taught him how to be manipulative, his mother taught him how to win over girls, and his older brother's mocking of him gave him his obsessive, competitive nature.
  • Friend to All Living Things: A very interesting twist on his character. While he usually feigns friendship with nearly every contestant, up until they outlive their usefulness and he betrays them, he does have an unusual handle over animals. See The Beast Master above.
  • Good Hair, Evil Hair: His soul patch fits him being a Noble Demon, especially in Total Drama All-Stars.
  • Graceful Loser:
    • He politely concedes defeat the several occasions where Heather has bested him in World Tour, viewing her as a Worthy Opponent.
    • While he is annoyed that he gets voted off in All-Stars, Alejandro still tries to warn the others about Mal's presence.
  • Handicapped Badass: He spends the majority of All-Stars walking on his hands, at first because he truly can't use his legs and later as a ruse to keep the others' guard down. Even if the handicap is self-imposed, it still means he's without legs and in this state still manages to pull off some impressive feats, such as walking across a tightrope on just his hands and saving Heather on said tightrope.
  • Handy Feet: He drives a bus with his feet in "Celebrity Manhunt's TDA Reunion Show".
  • Hated by All: Beginning at the end of World Tour, almost every other contestant (even Heather) started to instantly distrust him due to his very deceptive personality.
  • Heel–Face Door-Slam: Although he didn't technically turn good in All-Stars Alejandro's focus shifted from winning the game to simply outlasting Heather. Once this goal is achieved, he drops his villain-status in favor of trying to convince everyone that there's a greater threat looming, Mal. Unfortunately, his reputation as a liar precedes him, so everyone assumes he's just making stuff up.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: One of his most unethical actions, cheating to eliminate DJ, backfires on him in the long run. DJ had a considerable lead and Team CRRRRH was in last. Turns out that he and Tyler creamed the last run putting them ahead of Team Amazon. Had he just let DJ win the challenge, Heather would've most likely gone home as this was prior to her Heel–Face Turn and she was still packing heat for her behavior in "Anything Yukon Do I Can Do Better", "The Am-AH-Zon Race", and "Broadway Baby". DJ's elimination and Duncan's return allows Heather to slide through the cracks due to the friction of the Love Triangle and beat him in the finale.
  • Humiliation Conga: The finale of World Tour: he's about to win by tossing the sacrifice into the volcano, he sees Heather cry out in frustration, Alejandro gets Heather to admit she loves him, he admits the same only to fall for a kiwi shot by Heather, who then pushes Alejandro down the volcano on a block of ice. When he reaches the bottom he's trampled by everyone running away from the eruption, he is caught in the lava flow, and after the end credits he's put in the Robot from Celebrity Manhunt Special to become "Darth Alejandro". He then stays that way for at least a year.
  • Hunk: He replaces Justin as the goto Mr. Fanservice, being a charming Chick Magnet and given plenty of Walking Shirtless Scene. Courtney even calls him "Ale-hunk-dro" at one point.
  • I Can't Feel My Legs!: Being in that robot for a season made his legs numb. However, in "Evil Dread", he regained the use of his legs, and he attempts to scream discreetly after a crab pinches his foot.
  • I Meant to Do That: Whenever Alejandro screws up, or loses, he'll give a long-winded explanation of how it was all according to plan.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: He is good-looking, charming, villainous, and isn't afraid to show it, yet he still feels inferior to his older brother Jose, even saying at one point "Jose alway wins."
  • In-Series Nickname: Has a long list given to him by other contestants, they are as follows:note
  • Ironic Name: His name is basically a Hispanic version of the name "Alexander", which etymologically speaking, means "defender of man", yet Alejandro himself hardly cares for almost anyone (including his fellow, and later former Team Chris members, and even Heather).
  • Irony:
    • He's known for seducing a couple of ladies in World Tour for competitive and malicious reasons, but his chances for obtaining the million-dollar prize in that same season, whichever the ending, were hindered by Heather, who uses his romantic feelings for her to her own advantage, mainly via hitting him at his kiwis.
    • In All-Stars, him causing Heather's elimination (with the use of an Invincibility Statue) is what further led to his eventual downfall during that same season (since he's known for engineering the majority of the eliminations in World Tour), especially at its midway, when he's trying to warn others about Mal's presence inside of Mike.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's a greedy, self-centered rat bastard who will feign friendship and attraction to win. On rare occasions, he will show a hint of compassion in his "tiny black heart", which is mainly reserved for Heather.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty:
  • Karmic Butt-Monkey: Not as often as previous and subsequent antagonists but he has his moments of receiving slapstick and humiliation. Especially if he spends to much time around Owen, Heather or Mal.
  • Kick the Dog:
  • Ladykiller in Love: Despite all his manipulations with the female contestants, it later became obvious that Alejandro was genuinely falling in love with Heather.
  • Latin Lover: Every girl finds him irresistible, even ones who are already in relationships. In fact it is so effective that it still exerts influence on some girls even when he has revealed his true nature and betrayed them, where they have to constantly remind themselves that he's evil. He is very proud of his Hispanic heritage, which seems to make him even more appealing to girls.
  • The Leader: For all his underhandedness, he does make a legitimately capable and helpful leader of Team Chris. If he weren't out only for himself, Team Chris could've reached the merge with barely any losses.
  • Leitmotif: Spanish music, reminiscent of the theme from Zorro.
  • A Lighter Shade of Black: In All-Stars he ultimately realizes that Mal is even more evil than himself, which leads him to become a Nominal Hero in "The Obsta-Kill Kourse" where he attempts to warn the others of the greater evil and get Mal eliminated.
Alejandro: But I am not the true villain, a greater evil is lurking.
  • Love Is a Weakness: He knows this fully well, and uses this to exploit every girl in World Tour. Ironically he ends up falling for it himself.
  • Love Makes You Dumb: His tactic for eliminating several of the females. And then he himself fell victim to this in "Hawaiian Punch".
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: The feminine boy to Heather's masculine girl. Alejandro is sweet-talking, polite, and less prone to being aggressive when manipulating people. Heather is ruthless, rude, and has no trouble attacking people in order to get what she wants.
  • Master of All: He seems to be talented at everything, which he always explains as being due to having certain relatives who specialize in an area.
  • Manipulative Bastard: The only eliminations that Alejandro didn't have a hand in during World Tour was Ezekiel's, Lindsay's, Izzy's, Sierra's, and Heather's. He also manipulated Courtney and tried to get rid of Gwen, despite not being the direct cause of their eliminations, and makes up for his failure to eliminate Heather by making it his only goal in All-Stars.
  • The Masochism Tango: With Heather. He and Heather literally tango, on top of a train, while singing about how much they hate each other in "Planes, Trains, and Hot Air Mobiles".
You are the worst, why must you torment me?/ It's all a game to you, but not to me...
  • Mr. Fanservice: Has anyone counted how many times he's ripped off his shirt? See Shirtless Scene below.
  • Muppet Cameo: During "This is How We Will End It", he controls a Muppet version of himself.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: His contestant title is "The Arch Villain".
  • Near-Villain Victory: In the US ending of World Tour where he comes literally inches away from throwing his pineapple sacrifice into the volcano and securing victory. In the Canadian ending, he straight up wins, albeit by technicality. However, in neither ending does he so much as gets to touch the prize money due to it being burned in the volcano.
  • New Powers as the Plot Demands: Probably the epitome of this trope. As he very frequently has some new skill to help in almost any specific challenge which he will explain that a family member has.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Out of the final three members of Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot, he's the mean to Owen's nice and Duncan's in-between.
  • Noble Demon:
    • He isn't evil for the sake of being evil, and only does it for the prize money. He also has a code of honor which he abides by, and has shown rare glimpses of sympathy as he did with Heather, and will only go so far.
    • It's also apparently a family code to never hit the face. Despite hating his older brother, Jose with a passion they never hit each other in the face during the boxing challenge landing body shots instead.
  • Noble Male, Roguish Male: To Duncan's roguish. Played with as he is more villainous than Duncan.
  • Nominal Hero: In "The Obsta-kill Course", he tries to take down Mal, but only to further his own agenda.
  • Not in the Face!: When José and Alejandro fight each other in "Suckers Punched", they only exchange body blows, as it's in their family code to never hit the face of their opponent in a fight.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He's constantly telling people about his various family members, what they do and the skills he learned from them. So Heather's pretty shocked when she finds out he has an older brother he's never mentioned.
  • Person as Verb: He occasionally does this, like in "Rapa-Phooey" when he states the Condor is "two Alejandros' long."
  • Pet the Dog: Despite being one of the most ruthless contestants, he surprisingly has quite a few legit Noble Demon moments:
    • In Can't Help Falling In Lovure, he helps Cody hide from Sierra, even guarding him while he used the bathroom.
    • During the Area 51 episode he keeps his word to Duncan and votes Tyler off when backstabbing Duncan would have been more beneficial to his game.
    • When Heather gets hit by a boulder and wedged in a hole, he at first considers leaving her there until getting a "tremor" in his tiny black heart and rescuing her (the fact that he is in love with her definitely helped), near the end episode he shields her when the plane blows up and rushes to Sierra's side after her injury.
    • He offers to save Cameron while he's hanging over a cliff, only leaving him there when Cameron makes it quite clear that he wants nothing to do with him.
  • Picky Eater: Shown as a weakness in "Chinese Fake-Out." He tries to use Courtney to get around it until he gets caught.
  • Poorly Timed Confession: He invokes this several times to mess with the other team:
    • In "Newf Kids on the Rock", a cursed DJ has to kiss a fish for a challenge and he notices that the fish has an Egyptian symbol on it. Alejandro tells him that that kissing the fish will break his Egyptian curse, but by the end of the episode, it's revealed that Alejandro drew the symbol on the fish. In "Jamaica Me Sweat", with DJ believes that the curse is lifted, he starts doing well in the competition and he believes he can win. But when Alejandro "accidentally" confessed to Tyler about the truth about the fish with DJ standing behind him, DJ starts doing poorly and eventually gets eliminated.
    • In "Greece's Pieces", he invokes Tyler into doing this during the competition to create a rift between Gwen and Courtney, who were starting to become friends. Tyler witnessed Duncan and Gwen kissing each other despite Duncan being in a relationship with Courtney. Before the tiebreaker match can begin, when Tyler reveals the kiss to everyone, Courtney became furious at Gwen. And while their team won the challenge, Courtney began trying to sabotage her own team into losing so she can vote Gwen off.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: Alejandro repeatedly acts kindly towards and protects his teammates—not because he cares, but because he needs them around for his strategy.
  • Pride: He's a narcissistic and egotistical Schemer, kinda like Justin but more successful in his attempts to seduce women just to screw them over and he pretty much takes a lot of pride in it.
  • Punny Name: Possibly. As pointed out on the WMG page, "Burromuerto" combined with the nickname "Al" might be a reference to the Spanish saying "al burro muerto, cebada al rabo" (which roughly translates to "tying barley to a dead donkey's tail"). It means that you should enjoy life while it lasts, because you won't have things such as fame, glory, or wealth when you are dead.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: In his ending of World Tour, he technically wins the competition, but both he and the money still get burned and he gets put into the robot suit.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni:
    • He's the blue to Duncan's red when they team up in World Tour.
    • He's also the red to his brother José's blue, as reflected by their shirt colors.
    • In his relationship with Heather. He is the blue to her red. This is emphasized in the final song of World Tour when they face each other.
  • Romantic False Lead: To Geoff/Bridgette, Tyler/Lindsay, Harold/Leshawna and Courtney/Duncan.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man:
    • Sensitive Guy to Duncan and Scott's Manly Men, being more refined and less likely to be purposefully rude.
    • He's the Manly Man to Justin's Sensitive Guy, being more physically adept and ruthless.
  • Shirtless Scene: He lends his shirt to Bridgette in "Anything Yukon Do, I Can Do Better", and rips it off for no apparent reason at the start of the "Sweden Sour" challenge, much to Heather and Courtney's joy, and Duncan's confusion, though Sierra remains unaffected due to being Cody-sexual.
  • Sickeningly Sweethearts: With Heather when they finally get together in the All-Stars finale.
  • Silly Walk: He uses his hands for movement in All-Stars, that is until he gets voted off, in which point he drops the act, stands up, and walks to Heather, and he uses the immunity idol he stole from her, eliminating Heather in his place.
  • Spanner in the Works: He is this to Mal when he creates a DVD of him committing evil acts and hides it in the hotel for someone to find (which Zoey eventually does).
  • Spear Counterpart: Of Heather, as he is the first Big Bad since the Queen of Mean herself, who is able to manipulate the entire cast with ease, and control the entire game by orchestrating a long line of eliminations.
    • Noah lampshades the similarities between him and his female predecessor when attempting to caution Owen.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Aside from the usual suspects, he is one of the most focused-on contestants in World Tour. A lot of this is due to the fact that he's the season's main antagonist and Heather's long-awaited canonical love interest. This continues even to All-Stars, where he places 6th, only behind the five main characters of the season, even though his almost only role in the season is getting his revenge on Heather, which he accomplishes and lasts several episodes after.
  • Strong and Skilled: Alejandro is an athletic powerhouse capable of scaling pyramids with ease and standing on his hands for long periods of time, and is a manipulative mastermind able to orchestrate the downfall of several of the other contestants.
  • Superior Successor: To Heather. Both are manipulative examples of The Chessmaster, but Alejandro racked up an even higher elimination count for his debut season. Also unlike Heather, who most of the time tends to be a Smug Snake not even bothering to hide her nastiness, Alejandro knew how to play a good social game, which made him more competent in the long run, becoming the first (and only) main villain to make it to the finale in their debut season.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Justin, except unlike the Brainless Beauty, Alejandro is actually smart.
  • Tempting Fate: "I demand to get what's coming to me!", right before he gets trampled on. (At least, during his own ending in World Tour.)
  • Token Evil Teammate: On Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot.
  • Tsundere: Type A, which is pretty simple enough to be said here for a guy who's mostly meant to be Heather's masculine counterpart.
  • Uncertain Doom: At the end of All-Stars, after Camp Wawanakwa sinks, Alejandro, alongside Heather, swims away to escape from Fang, but is never seen again afterwards due to no more seasons featuring members of the original cast being produced, and considering that his status has no mentions at all in the seventh season due to no previous contestants making physical cameos after the fifteen year Time Skip, certainly doesn't make his chances of survival look good.
  • Unfortunate Name: His surname "Burromuerto" is Spanish for "dead donkey". Chris knows this and makes big bucks off this.
  • Unholy Matrimony: Eventually develops this with Heather.
  • Unknown Rival: There is no one Alejandro hates more than Owen, but for the most part Owen is blissfully unaware of how Alejandro truly feels about him.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: He's trapped in the Drama Machine for a year.
  • Villain Decay: All-Stars has him reduced from a puppeteer, chick magnet to a borderline Expy of Justin. However, this becomes downplayed as, unlike most of the other contestants, he does still show moments of cunning, and with the exception of Mal and debatably Heather, is the only contestant to truly act villainous.
  • "The Villain Sucks" Song: He has two:
    • The first one is "Sisters", which is about Leshawna signing about how she's going to get her revenge on Alejandro for messing with her head and causing her elimination.
    • The second one "Versus" is both a Villain Song and "The Villain Sucks" Song at the same time since it's about him and Heather singing about how they are going to win and taking constant jabs at each other while doing so.
  • Villain Protagonist: In "The Obsta-Kill Kourse" after finding about Mal, though he did slide into Nominal Hero territory.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He really doesn't like being called Al. It all comes to a head in the season three finale, where it's revealed his deep hatred for being called Al is related to the fact that his older brother bullies him. Of course, after finding this out, Cody uses it to torment him.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: His weak stomach when eating foods that are disgusting or unhealthy, which is a handicap on a show where gross food-eating challenges are practically a rite of passage.
  • What Beautiful Eyes!: Some of the girls have commented on his eyes, and he even exploits this trope. "Evil Dread" treats the audience to a close-up of his face while he tries to work his magic on Gwen. Gwen goes on to confess that she knows he's evil, but his eyes still have an effect on her.
  • Wicked Cultured: Alejandro is knowledgeable in pop culture and trivial facts, and is greatly concerned for his personal health by staying away from nasty foods, often worrying about his body image.
  • Will They or Won't They?: With Heather. In the All-Stars season finale, they finally do, though they still retain their competitive natures.
  • Worthy Opponent: To Heather. He acknowledges that she's a formidable adversary and enjoys competing against her in challenges, he also doesn't take it personally when she out-gambits him. Heather even invokes this to get Alejandro to help her out of a hole.
Heather: Please, Alejandro. You and I have been the greatest adversaries this game has ever seen! Is this how you wanna win it — because I got jammed into a pit by a stupid rock? Is that the victory you want!?
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: In All-Stars, after being released from the robotic body, Alejandro's legs don't work properly at first. They eventually heal and regain their strength but he still pretends to be injured to make Heather feel guilty and to keep the other Villainous Vultures from seeing him as a threat.

"What's wrong with you people?! This is "Total Drama," not "Total Forgive and Forget"!"

A conceited personality who cares only about being in the spotlight and digging up celebrity-related dirt and gossip. Blaineley was a co-host on Celebrity Manhunt, but joined World Tour's Aftermath show as Geoff's co-host (since Bridgette was competing). However, events conspire to put her in the competition against her will.

  • Arc Villainess: The main antagonist of the World Tour Aftermaths, though she's overshadowed by the season's main villain (Alejandro).
  • Attention Whore: She often tries to shoehorn her way into the Aftermaths, even sending Bridgette to Siberia so she can host the show instead. She doesn't even like the Aftermaths or Total Drama very much — she just wants to host something to cling to her fame.
  • Bad Boss: In "Aftermath Aftermayhem", we see some of her entourage. They are manacled to each other.
  • Balloon Belly: With the help of secret footage in "Aftermath III: Aftermath Aftermayhem", Geoff reveals that Blaineley has a permanent balloon belly. She has trained herself to hold it in while in public.
  • Bandage Mummy: She's covered in multiple bandages in "Hawaiian Style".
  • Beauty Is Bad: Despite being an Arc Villainess, it would be fair to rank her as one of the prettiest contestants.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: In an All-Stars bonus clip where Lightning ends up in Paris after his Flush of Shame, Blaineley is seen enjoying a romantic cruise with Bruno, the bear Bridgette befriended in Siberia.
  • Berserk Button: If somebody doesn't know who she is, she freaks out at them.
  • Big Eater: Because of her diet she's had to avoid cake for years, so when she falls into a wedding cake during one of the "Niagara Brawls" challenges she's both horrified and ecstatic. Later she is seen eating a wedding cake with her bare hands in the confessional.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: While she initially seems friendly and affable, it’s not long before her true colors as a vain and malicious Jerkass as revealed.
  • Characterization Marches On: In her debut during "Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special", she was a friendly and affable host who even rooted for the Total Drama cast to make their return to reality TV. By World Tour, she had descended into Chris-like levels of selfishness and sadism.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: In "Chinese Fake Out" she make an alliance with Chef. With Chef's help, Blaineley easily completes the racing challenge after Chef pulls her to the finish line faster than the others. During the eating challenge, she has Chef secretly serve her decent food as opposed to what the other contestants had to eat. Eventually, Heather catches her in the act and she is forced to swap meals with Sierra. Because of this disadvantage, Blaineley loses the challenge and is eliminated.
  • The Chew Toy: She becomes this after her elimination. She deserves every second of it.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The female version of Chris.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": She dislikes being called Mildred.
  • Drama Queen: As a paparazzo and TV host, she sometimes overacts to stir up more drama, but it comes off more as Large Ham.
  • Dub Name Change: In the Canadian French dub, her name is changed to “Mélanie.”
  • Embarrassing First Name: Mildred.
  • Gasshole: She can fart and burp at the same time with enough force to shake her bloated stomach, the room and the camera to the point of breaking.
  • Genre Blindness: When competing in World Tour, she seems to be under the impression that the show is staged and that the more dangerous challenges are performed by stunt doubles. Nope, everything the contestants go through is exactly as crazy as it looks.
  • Hartman Hips: Being one of the older contestants, it makes sense why her hips are drawn so large.
  • Hate Sink: She seems to have inherited a number of traits from Chris, where she is very shameless, egocentric, and negligent in her own right, especially as a host, as well as having her own cold-hearted actions, which includes kidnapping Bridgette and sending her to Siberia to avoid a tour and take her place on the Aftermath.
  • Humiliation Conga: After her elimination, she was pushed out of the plane before she could secure her parachute. She fell into a house roof first and was covered head to toe in bandages and wheeled around on a dolly. When she's on the next Aftermath show, she's laughed at by the peanut gallery because of her fall. Being the only Heather supporter (against her will at that), she was almost forced to do a challenge while in a full body-cast until Owen decided to take pity on her and aid her. Owen injures her even more, drops her out of the dolly a couple of times, uses her as a surfboard and then accidentally drops her into the ocean. She's saved by Bruno the bear before she drowns but is used as a literal chew toy once he reaches the shore.
  • "I Am" Song: "Blainerific" introduces her and her famous persona to the cast.
  • Interspecies Romance: Bruno the bear, who previously attacked Blaineley, is seen hugging her on a swan boat during a Tunnel Of Love ride. The two appear to be very, very good friends. At least.
  • Jerkass: She rivals Chris himself, taking sadistic glee in tormenting Geoff and Bridgette.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: When Owen is eliminated, she’s the only one expressing sorrow for him by crying, making it seem like she’s warmed up to him …only for her to then ask Alejandro if her crying looked believable and if she looked sympathetic to the audience.
  • Lady in Red: Her normal outfit is a slinky red dress, appropriate for a celebrity host.
  • Laughably Evil: She announces an alliance proposal over the plane's loudspeaker and then gives a rapid-fire disclaimer after it, and has the guts to use Chris' personal hot tub.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's a buxom blonde woman who regularly wears a red dress that exposes her cleavage and long legs.
  • My Nayme Is: "Blaine" is usually a surname but can be used as a given name. 'Blaineley' on the other hand is clearly supposed to sound and look ridiculous. And then we find out it isn't her real name.
  • Narcissist: She has a rather high view of herself and sings a whole song about have famous she is.
  • Odd Friendship: She develops one with Owen in World Tour: he's the only contestant to cheer for her Blainerific musical number, and they bond over their shared loves of cake and farting in "Niagra Brawls". When he's eliminated at the end of the episode, Blaineley actually seems sad to see him leave. Although subverted since she was only pretending.
  • Overly Long Name: Blaineley Stacey Andrews O'Halloran is her full name. Except it's actually Mildred.
  • Sadist: If her enjoying tormenting Geoff and Bridgette is anything to go by.
  • Shadow Archetype: With her being a toxic television show host that’s obsessed with fame and looks, she’s basically a representation of what Geoff could’ve become had Bridgette, Leshawna, and Owen never stepped in and gotten him to grow out of his Captain Hollywood phase.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Rivaled only by Chris as the biggest ego on the show. She sings a song about how awesome and famous she thinks she is when she made her debut in the contest proper.
  • Smug Snake: She has a very inflated image of herself but isn't in the same league as Heather or Alejandro when it comes to manipulation. Still, she had some brilliance in "Chinese Fake-Out" when she easily got Chef to do her bidding.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Defied; her name and Josh's both appear behind them during the Celebrity Manhunt opening in the ''Action'' special. It didn't stop a ton of fans from getting confused about the spelling, though.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Is a very tall woman who's able to meet several male characters at eye level.
  • Token Adult: Joined the World Tour competition for a short time. Whereas the other contestants are teenagers, Blaineley is explicitly an adult.
  • Too Dumb to Live: In Aftermath II: Revenge of The Telethon, when DJ is greeted by the animals (who are in cages) he accidentally hurt in World Tour, Blaineley, in an attempt to raise more money to save the show, releases the animals out of their cages, which makes them brutalize Bridgette, Geoff, the Peanut Gallery, and Blaineley herself, giving them major injuries.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: All her later appearances compared to the special where she debuts.
  • Unexplained Recovery: At the end of the third season, a still injured and bandaged Blaineley rolls downside of the volcano to escape along with the other contestants, but she is never seen swimming in the water to safety, considering that she can't swim in that state, and is not seen among the original cast aboard the yacht in the Revenge of the Island premiere. Her cameos in All-Stars and Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, however, confirmed her survival and recovery.
  • Victoria's Secret Compartment: Keeps hankies in her bra, as seen in "Niagara Brawls".
  • Villain Song: She gets one in the form of “Blainerific”, a self-serving "I Am" Song, that she sings when she’s introduced to the remaining contestants in “Niagara Brawls.”
  • "The Villain Sucks" Song: "Her Real Name Isn't Blaineley" (contains spoilers) from "Aftermath Aftermayhem."
  • Villainous Breakdown: She throws a tantrum after Geoff and Bridgette get back together.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: She became a contestant in World Tour, only to be eliminated, along with Courtney, in the next episode. However, she did receive a lot of focus and characterization in the prior Aftermaths.
  • Womanchild: For a grown woman, she behaves like a bratty and attention-seeking Drama Queen.

A longtime fan of the Total Drama series massively obsessed with the show and its cast. When not gushing about how much she loves being on the show, she is usually obsessing over Cody, who is her favourite of the contestants and whom she sports a gigantic crush on.

  • Abhorrent Admirer:
    • To Cody, her favorite Total Drama contestant. He's initially indifferent towards her but quickly grows afraid once he realizes just how intense her feelings are. However, after countless acts of kindness, he gradually warms up to her and the two end up being close friends by the time World Tour ends.
    • She's this to Cameron in All-Stars. Interestingly, she's actually still incapable of getting her mind off Cody, as soon as she develops a crush on Cameron, she begins to see him as Cody rather than himself. Even when she realizes Cameron is not Cody she still nicknames him "Cam-Cody"; and seems perfectly satisfied with the situation. Not that he feels the same.
  • Action Girl: She can pull off astounding physical feats without apparent effort. And when Cody's in trouble, nothing can stop her from saving him.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Her first name is Hispanic in origin, although she mentions that her grandparents are German. There is a notable Afro-German population within the country, which stretches back to the 1880s, so she could be Afro-German too.
  • Anti-Hero: Of the Knight in Sour Armor variety in World Tour. She's far from your stereotypical, noble, selfless hero, and most of the cast dislikes her or is weirded out by her due to her weird antics. Almost all of her heroic deeds are done solely to benefit Cody, and she has also committed a few selfish and antagonistic acts for him as well. Aside from this, she's reasonably nice to the other contestants as long as they don't mess with Cody. During All-Stars, Cody's absence causes her to shift into neutral territory and she spends most of her time on the island obsessing over Cody and Cameron instead of competing seriously. For her troubles, though, she still gets placed on the hero team.
  • Ascended Fangirl: She was an avid fan of Total Drama far before she actually got to participate in it.
  • Attention Whore: Sierra's obsession with Total Drama in general and Cody, in particular, is certainly a cry for attention. In "Can't Help Falling in Louvre," she spends most of the episode snubbing Cody just so he'll pay attention to her.
  • Audience Surrogate: She is a stand-in for real-life Total Drama fans (albeit a highly caricatured one), in particular, a parody of Cody fangirls due to his Ensemble Dark Horse status during Island. Though ironically, her carrying Cody throughout the season would make him a Base-Breaking Character after World Tour.
  • Ax-Crazy: A situational case, as Heather discovered after Sierra won a drill in a challenge and had been fooled by Alejandro into thinking that Heather had stolen Cody.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Geoff even signed it.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Insult or harm Cody (and in All-Stars, Cameron), and you're a dead man. Or bear. Or shark.
  • The Big Gal: To both Team Amazon and the Heroic Hamsters. Sierra's main contribution to the team, aside from her unusual talents, is brute strength. If given significant motivation (usually something Cody-related) few can match her in physical ability.
  • Broken Pedestal: Sierra starts World Tour as a fan of Chris but the latter can only tolerate her for so long, especially when Sierra regularly brings up embarrassing moments of his past. After blowing up his plane, Chris not only eliminates Sierra despite her having immunity but also abandons her at Drumheller. From then on, Sierra no longer fangirls over Chris and instructs her mother to give up on him too.
  • Camera Fiend: She sneaks in her phone in All-Stars, allowing her to update her blog with up-close pictures of the contestants. Very up close. Immensely disturbing Gwen in Episode 1.
  • Catchphrase: "Yeeha!" and something along the lines of "Cody-kins".
  • Characterization Marches On: Using her uber-knowledge of the show to her advantage competition-wise is completely abandoned halfway into World Tour to focus solely on her Cody obsession. While her vast knowledge of the show is still present, it becomes increasingly Cody-related and she no longer uses it to win.
  • Chekhov's Skill: Her basket weaving skills first appear as a New Powers as the Plot Demands in the second episode of the third season, but becomes a recurring skill in her arsenal.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Played straight, especially when it involves Gwen. An example of this is calling for a Group Hug and then telling Gwen, Courtney and Heather to back off while she's glomping Cody.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: A stand-out example. From using an old pizza box and a live mouse to update her blog (and it's unclear if it actually WORKED or if it was all in her head) to "marrying" Cody in a challenge and spending nearly the remainder of the season believing it was legal, it's considerably rare for Sierra to demonstrate actual functioning logic.
Cameron: You know you're in trouble when the only person with a plan is Sierra.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Sierra may come off as a weird, deluded fangirl, but she's also saved the lives of the other contestants countless times.
  • Cute and Psycho: She's really goofy, but she can get violent if you hurt Cody.
  • The Cutie: She has a high-pitched, sweet, childish voice and constantly comments on things being cute (even a leech on her face), that is until someone pushes her Berserk Button. Then she becomes Cute and Psycho.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle : Sierra is the instigator of many of these, especially when defending Cody. So far, the only battles she didn't win were her fight with Courtney (that ended in a double knock-out) in the World Tour wrestling challenge, and her boxing match against a mutated giant rat in All-Stars (where she was at the receiving end).
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: Sierra deconstructs the Ascended Fangirl and Fangirl tropes. When she first appeared, she was a devoted fan of the cast and had a crush on Cody. At first, her personality traits and quirks were cute and endearing, while her crush on Cody appeared to be normal. But throughout the season, her behavior gets more deranged and bizarre. At first, she does well in the game with her knowledge of the previous seasons and characters, but then her obsession with Cody gets worse. She starts to invade his personal space, take his items, violate his privacy, and refuses to acknowledge that he's not interested in her. Her behavior creeps out and annoys the other castmates as well. While at the end of the season, she appears to have earned Cody's friendship and has mellowed out, the next season's All-Stars puts her behavior to its ultimate conclusion. In that season, Sierra is still obsessed with Cody to the point that when she develops a crush on her new castmate Cameron, she sees him as Cody rather than as his own person. Even when she realizes Cameron is a different person, she rather imagines him as a different version of Cody than his own person, even nicknaming him Cam-Cody. Her behavior and photo of Cody in the shower show that someone like Sierra is too obsessive to just improve in one episode like that, and she ultimately sees Cody as an object for her fantasies.
  • Determinator: If it's for Cody's sake, Sierra can do anything.
  • Disability Immunity: Her Single-Target Sexuality towards Cody makes her immune to certain borderline supernatural Chick Magnets like Alejandro (and possibly Justin).
  • Double Standard Rape: Female on Male: She used Cody's toothbrush, touches, hugs and kisses him against his will and even drugged him into a stupor at one point. Despite this, she never gets called out for it.
  • Dub Name Change: In the Canadian French dub, her name is changed to "Sarah-Laurie".
  • Entitled to Have You: Stalking aside, she doesn't quite get that Cody has the right to refuse her advances, or really acknowledge him as an independent being.
  • Exaggerated Trope: Her fangirl characterization is to the point of being a stalkerish yandere.
  • Everyone Has Standards: She didn't have a problem with Duncan and Gwen hooking up and likely shipped it … her problem was them hooking up while Duncan was still dating Courtney, showing that she draws the line at cheating and boyfriend stealing.
  • Fangirl: A deconstruction of one. What would happen if a grossly passionate, obsessive fan was allowed on the show? Answer: She does very well in the game, but gets on everybody's nerves.
  • Fatal Flaw: If she was not that obsessed with Cody, she might easily be one of the most threatening contestants.
  • Flanderization: Doubly, with the first being a rare example of this happening to a character within their debut season!
    • At the start of World Tour, She was Cody's personal Stalker with a Crush but this wasn't her most defining trait; being a huge fan of Total Drama meant she was incredibly Genre Savvy and knew how to play to win, even managing to trick Heather by Obfuscating Stupidity. However, as the season progressed more and more focus was placed on her obsession with Cody, and her own focus shifted from actually competing to just smothering him with (unwanted) affection.
    • In All-Stars, her obsession has become so intense that when Mal breaks her smartphone with which takes away her means of calling Cody she ends up using Cameron as a substitute for Cody during his absence, even referring to him as "Cam Cody", "Cody Cam", and "Camody". Even Chris is alarmed at how unhinged she's become by the time she is eliminated.
  • Foil: To Alejandro. Both are new contestants to World Tour introduced in "Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special" but the similarities end there. Alejandro is a Big Bad Friend who charms his contestants but betrays them one by one, while Sierra is The Friend Nobody Likes but ends up being one of the nicer contestants late in the season. Both are multi-talented, but Alejandro tends to have more practically useful skills, while Sierra has more unusual skills that are less relevant to challenges and have to be applied creatively. But most importantly Alejandro is a Chick Magnet who successfully woos virtually every girl in the season except Sierra, while Sierra has Single-Target Sexuality towards Cody and for this very reason is the only female character who is immune to Alejandro's charms.
  • Forgot Flanders Could Do That: Subverted in "Rapa-Phooey!". While the original aspect of her uber-fan knowledge of the show returns in this episode (which is using it to her advantage competition wise), it's primarily for getting Alejandro away from Cody and not actually trying to win the game.
  • Friendless Background: Sierra mentions that she never made friends as a kid on account of her... quirkiness. It seemingly doesn't bother her because she's happy enough just loving Cody.
  • Gamer Chick: As mentioned in "Sweden Sour", her Third Life avatar is a Druid warrior elf with level 35 sword skills and level 62 massage.
  • Generation Xerox: Like how Sierra is to Cody, it is also implied that her mother is also a Stalker with a Crush for Chris, since that she has a shrine for him at home.
  • Genius Bruiser: Looking past her craziness, Sierra is actually really smart and can be very resourceful should she choose to be. She also possesses Super-Strength that is borderline inhuman.
  • Genki Girl: Outside of her obsessiveness and overly-affectionate attitude, her defining characteristic is her enthusiasm and energy. Much like Izzy is energetic and cheerful, which might make her a Foil to her.
  • Genre Savvy: She's watched every episode of Total Drama like, FIFTEEN TIMES!, so she knows what she's talking about.
  • Going Cold Turkey: She gradually slips into (further) insanity in All-Stars after she is deprived of access to her blog and Cody.
  • Handicapped Badass: Her temporary stint in a wheelchair did not stop her from defending Cody from a shark.
  • Hartman Hips: For a stereotypical teenage Fangirl, you can't deny that Sierra has surprisingly large hips.
  • Hormone-Addled Teenager: She's a Smitten Teenage Girl who has a huge crush on Cody, which manifests itself into her touching him inappropriately at times and and drugging him at one point. She also gets very excited whenever Cody is mentioned and even mistakes Cameron for Cody in All-Stars.
  • Hopeless Suitor: She just can't get Cody to return her feelings, no matter how hard she tries. Ironically, Cody himself is Gwen's Hopeless Suitor.
  • Huge Schoolgirl: More like a huge high school girl, but she is the tallest female contestant and just behind Leshawna and Sadie for the widest. She's even taller than 6 foot Alejandro while being the same height as Owen, only Geoff, DJ, a mutated Dakota and Jasmine are taller than her.
  • Inelegant Blubbering: When Sierra cries... it's not graceful.
  • It Runs in the Family:
    • Sierra's mother has the same obsessive tendencies that Sierra herself displays, if to an even greater extent, having converted their guest bedroom into a museum for Chris. Apparently, at least one of her grandparents is the same way, as Sierra describes herself as a "third generation Chris McLean scholar."
    • She also mentions that she comes from a long line of Basket Weavers.
  • Just Friends: While she and Cody eventually do become good friends, she just can't get Cody to return her feelings no matter what she does.
  • Large Ham: She has her moments in "Niagara Brawls" and "African Lying Society".
  • Leet Lingo: Has been known to use internet slang like "lol" and "OMG" during dialogue. Although it becomes less noticeable as the season goes on and her character develops.
  • Leitmotif: Creepy Background Music tends to play whenever she attempts to get intimate with Cody or mentions any fact about the Total Drama cast which borders on Too Much Information.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: Harm, badmouth, or even display interest in Cody and she will drop her goofy visage and become violently protective.
  • Like Mother, Like Daughter: She's a "third generation Chris McLean scholar," with her mother also being a massive fan of Chris and raising Sierra to be the same.
  • Loony Fan: She's the biggest Total Drama fan, and she especially loves Cody, never leaving his side during her time on the show unless she's physically forced away from him.
  • Love Makes You Crazy: She's already an odd individual, but her love for Cody drives her to disturbing degrees, stealing his personal belongings, trying to trick him into marriage, putting herself in serious danger for him, and dousing herself in herbal tea and deluding herself into believing it's making Cody love her (despite him clearly having an allergic reaction to it).
  • Made of Iron: As part of her character's physical ability, Sierra takes an inordinate amount of pain and remains functional enough to compete. She's smashed through a canyon and caused an Impact Silhouette, taken a cannonball to the stomach and while she said that she would need surgery she was nonetheless active in the rest episode and was unharmed in future episodes. The only lasting damage was when she accidentally blew up Chris' plane. Despite being at the epicenter of the explosion and apparently being trapped under the wreckage, the damage only causes her hair to burn off and damage to her scalp, ankles and wrists that prevented her from standing up or being carried. Once she's in a wheelchair, she's fine. And even so, she still charges into shark-infested waters to save Cody.
  • Nerds Are Pervs: Sierra is a stereotypical Fangirl, obsessed with the Internet without having any friends in real life. She is also incredibly attracted to Cody, to the point of stealing his underwear, using his toothbrush, smelling his shoes, and even forcibly kissing him at one point. This is made worse by the fact she has No Social Skills and seems unable to comprehend that he's not into her.
  • No Indoor Voice: Sierra has a tendency to yell and scream her dialogue if given enough motivation.
  • Nonconformist Dyed Hair: Her long violet braid makes her stand out more as an overly-obsessed and clingy fangirl with a Friendless Background.
  • No-Sell: She's completely immune to Alejandro's flirtatious charm because Cody is the only one she'll ever want.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: Cody does not like having his feet touched. Sierra is utterly oblivious to this.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: A fan who's watched the show back and forth like her isn't falling for Heather's usual pawn tactics, though she certainly doesn't let it on the outside of the confessional. This aspect of her character is dropped halfway into the season.
  • Otaku: She has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Total Drama, as the result of her unhealthy obsession with the show, especially Cody.
  • Parody Sue: She looks like an OC from a Self-Insert Fic and has several incredible abilities, as well as a romantic obsession with Cody, one of the more popular contestants at the time World Tour came out. Of course, she balances this out by acting super annoying to everybody around her, with Cody in particular spending most of his time with her totally creeped out.
  • Renaissance Woman: In contrast to Alejandro's Master of All, Sierra has an assortment of talents but is far less orthodox and practical.
  • Running Gag: Being an X generation something or other.
  • Satellite Character:
    • Her only role in the show is to show how Cody would interact with one of his fangirls. It doesn't paint a pretty picture.
    • It's deconstructed in All-Stars; since Cody isn't participating, she attempts to use Cameron as a Replacement Goldfish for him and ends up going crazier when her one link to Cody (her phone) is destroyed.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: The Energetic Girl to Cody's Savvy Guy.
  • Self-Proclaimed Love Interest: For Cody.
  • Shipper on Deck: As a possible Shout-Out to real-life Total Drama fans. She is this to Gwen/Duncan, sort of; she seems to support the idea of them together (probably at least in part because it's a good Ship Mate for her and Cody), but when they actually hook up she joins most of the others in denouncing them for going behind Courtney's back. However in All-Stars, she is fine with Gwen and Duncan together. During her elimination ceremony in All-Stars, Duncan tells her to "make more Gwuncan videos", implying that she actively shipped them.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: Extremely Cody-sexual. And what happens when she actually falls for someone else (Cameron)? Instead of realizing she likes Cameron as a separate person, she begins to hallucinate Cody's face on Cameron's and treats him the same way she would treat Cody.
  • Smitten Teenage Girl: She's ridiculously in love with Cody and even wants to marry him at only 16-17 years old.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Is briefly the only girl on Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot before switching teams.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Aside from the usual suspects, she is one the most focused-on contestants in World Tour.
  • Stalker with a Crush: She definitely qualifies as this to Cody, smelling his shoes, sucking poison out of him, and knowing everything about him to the point where he develops a phobia of her.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Her mother looks identical to her except for her hair color (and it's suggested Sierra's hair might be dyed).
  • Super-Strength: She's consistently shown to be extremely strong.
    • Sierra once managed to hold the weight of her entire team when they were all hanging off the side of a cliff, using only her teeth, and then managed to pull them all up.
    • She also once hoisted Owen (who weighs 296 pounds, mind you) above her head, threw him into another boat while tied to a rope to act as an anchor, then holding said rope with her teeth manages to single-handedly pedal both her boat while towing a second boat against the current of Niagara Falls!
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: She replaces Izzy as the resident Cloud Cuckoo Lander contestant who is a hazard to their fellow contestants and being among the most potent fighters in the series.
  • Sweet Tooth: Chris calls Sierra "sugar addicted" while introducing her. This statement is evidenced by Sierra's high amount of energy in general.
  • Take That, Audience!: A hormonal teenage girl who is obsessed with Total Drama and has a huge crush on one of the contestants? Hmm... Where have we seen that before?
  • Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: Huge Girl to Cody's Tiny Guy.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Sierra's Yandere tendencies make her one of the most violent contestants, from kicking DJ out of anger to attempting to kill Heather after mistakenly believing that Cody is cheating on her with Heather. Without Cody in All-Stars, her violent tendencies have been toned down and is actually civil towards Gwen, even if the latter still finds her annoying.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: When she accidentally shoots herself in the face with a leech, she squeals, "It feels just like Cody's kiss!" before passing out.
  • Too Much Information: Sierra knows way more about Chris' past than he wants to admit. Eventually, he tells her to zip it. Doesn't help that Alejandro keeps goading her to try and relate to him.
  • Uncertain Doom: Is last seen floating into the atmosphere in a balloon full of Owen's farts.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: To Cody and later Cameron (despite not being in an official relationship with either one). When either of them is threatened (which happens a lot), Sierra goes ape on whatever is hurting them. She beat up an entire group of baboons because they kidnapped Cody.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Faked being a mopey, heart-broken wreck so Cody would notice her and called it "playing hard to get".
  • Yandere: Sierra's obsession with Cody is to the point of insanity, and she can get quite violent at times in her efforts to "protect" him (i.e. threatening Heather with a drill because she thought Heather and Cody were an item).
