Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I believe the entire Cells at Work team is being work on by someone else (either Whirl, M1gami, or Rinrin, can't remember). Even if they weren't, you still need to explain why they should get it.

Oh hey, we've reached the next page! Enjoy a video of Villager bonking his head on all the Smash stages.

[up] Funny how I can be a bit of a Grammar Nazi myself. Even then, everyone makes spelling mistakes.

''"So..." BAM!!!''

Likewise, I think I'm done with Damien and Speckles. Probably going to work on two-three more deities before the Harbingers are up.

Damien and Speckles each have 3 [tup]s - Excessive-Menace, wootzits (both), Bazzardreturns (Speckles) and RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 (Damien)

  • Opposed By: The House of Family and Justice, The Nippon Ichi Demons, All Children in the Pantheon, Rape Victims
  • Disregards: Angra Mainyu, Archaon
  • The Antichrist; the very being who would herald the Day of Judgement, the Second Coming of Jesus and the eventual end of the world. To everyone's surprise, the exact, perfect antithesis of Jesus Christ... happens to be an ordinary little boy... at first. He would soon accept his role in heralding Satan's rule over the world and orchestrate the deaths of anybody who got close to revealing his identity, even his own parents. His destiny being his greatest priority above all else, the child would grow up to become a strong influence, becoming the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom and fronting an Industry... all whilst creating a secret Satanic cult in his future creation of his worldly vision. Damien Thorn is the bringer of the Eschatology, and he will stop at nothing to prevent the written victory of Jesus and God.
  • Damien met Melkor, who was impressed by his foul deeds and his destiny as The Antichrist. Damien felt confused at first, trying to imagine if Melkor was Satan, before realizing there were different incarnations of the latter in this new world. Melkor already had figures that were similar, but knew there was something unique in Damien, hence he quelled him into his alliance. Damien accepted, sharing Melkor's vision of sowing the world in discord, misery and destruction. He also found himself a great acquaintance in Griffith, who also saw Damien's leadership and charismatic persona as an excellent tool of manipulation and depravity.
  • While most people are familiar with Damien as a child, its not exactly the case for him as an adult. Then again, Damien ascended in his child-like state, which Melkor finds rather amusing in that one of the ultimate evils in the Pantheon is (currently) a little boy. Despite this, the God of Evil has actually met Damien as an adult at some points. Whether Damien has shapeshifting powers that he learned in the Pantheon is a mystery for now, but the Anti-Christ appears either in child or adult forms depending on certain situations (Wanting to traverse publicly, scaring off people or running his business and Satanic organization).
  • Surprisingly gets along with Johan Liebert as both of them are cold, calculating and sociopathic in nature. Both of them express some kind of curiosity and interest in the sense that both of them are considered Antichrists, though Johan is metaphorical (or a true one) whereas Damien is literally that. Despite this, Johan has no qualms of backstabbing and eliminating Damien once he runs out of any aid or support, though Damien can only be harmed by holy weapons, which is something most evil-aligned deities, Johan included, couldn't possess.
  • While its little surprise he is the son of Satan what is rather irking is that Damien was conceived from a jackal. Damien has been seen under good company with the Beasts of Chaos, especially Gorthor who would do anything to please and spread Damien's influence. It also helps that Damien is favored by the Chaos Gods, Tzeentch in particular.
  • Don't be fooled by his innocent appearance as a child; the moment anyone gets close to revealing his true nature, its only a matter of time before they are brutally killed off, either by some kind of supernatural force, his followers or by his pack of dogs. These traits made Damien incredibly feared throughout the Pantheon, which to everyone's horror, immediately was warmly received by Melkor, whom the Anti-Christ had now decided to become his personal prophet for.
    • As the offspring of Satan (At least in his world), Damien is in good graces with the several incarnations of Satan residing in the Pantheon. One of his main goals is to free the imprisonment Dis is encapsulated in, which he will stop nothing at to achieve. The Beast and a Satan favoring Hell over Heaven have immediately given their support of Damien and his position to tear the world asunder for their own gains. Its only a matter of time before Damien would face extreme opposition due to his allegiance and actions.
  • Damien is aware of his divinity ranking as a Demigod, but the Pantheon are so fearful of him they treat him like an Overdeity (Normally, he would be a Greater God level threat, but being the Anti-Christ is a different story). Furthering his reputation is Damien's leadership and charisma which manages to win over all but the biggest of pure good hearted. Damien's political and industrial knowledge has also granted him a degree of influence in many fields and the Disciples of the Watch has benefited in spreading further discord.
  • Will often try to amuse himself by causing brutal acts via his followers and using his childlike appearance to lead a lot of residents astray and off-guard. The Joker has taken a liking to this, as does Yuuki Terumi and Junko Enoshima, who think Damien is among the best individuals to lead others into unsuspecting misery and pain. Damien does get along with them, but would rather spend his time with Melkor and the other leading GUAE members, thinking his position is too important to spend too much time with the three. Joker, Terumi and Junko are currently thinking of a way to spend more time with Damien.
  • Damien is HATED by numerous deities, and its a benchmark in its own right. With the exception of those who are evil, every child stays their distance from him, given the fact that he tried to kill any newborn boys when he approached the Day of Judgement, in addition to anyone basically dying if they got too close to him. The Nippon Ichi demons are disgusted by the fact that Damien would rape his victims solely for sadistic pleasure. The House of Family have banned him from even appearing a mile away from the entrance considering he had his adopted parents and siblings killed just to ensure he would carry out his destiny. Damien however takes this in stride, stating that he doesn't really care about his reputation so as long as the Pantheon is bought down to ruin and agony.
    • He does however find company under Rhoda Penmark as she too, is a sociopathic child hellbent on killing and spreading misery. Damien has since made her an honorary member of the Disciples of the Watch, thinking that Rhoda would be an effective example of subverting expectations of children being pure and innocent.
  • Melkor decided to simply send Damien to several houses in an attempt to amuse himself. The amount of people who got close to being killed was staggering, and per usual, Damien was able to get away with it. Melkor laughed so hard at the prospect of Damien causing such a havoc that he immediately named him one of his closest companions. Although he was unable to fill out a position of the Four Horsemen, Melkor settled for making Damien his personal messenger, the Prophet of the Grand United Alliance of Evil.
    • With his newfound position in the GUAE Mastermind, Damien is able to assert control over most of the GUAE, albeit with a lesser extent than Melkor could. Beastmen, Orcs, Apostles, most evil races would pay their respects to Damien given his unholy destiny. The Godhand are pleased of what Damien is capable of, and have even offered him a chance to become an Apostle. Damien declined, though he did respect their gesture.
  • Learning about numerous variations of Satan, Damien has made an effort to try uniting them against Cosmos and the Grand United Alliance of Good. He was able to make contact and become confidants with two versions of Satan. However, he was annoyed with the current situation Dis was in. Damien is since trying to formulate a plan with Melkor and the other two Satans to try freeing Dis from his eternal imprisonment. Problem is, they'd have to be going up against The Love that Moves the Stars for that matter. This isn't going to stop the four of them anytime soon though...
    • Regarding analogies to Satan, Diablo has been a big fan of what Damien is capable of, citing his spread of panic and chaos as incredible, even by other villain standards. A similar sentiment came from Molag Bal who feels that Damien is a prime example of an Ultimate Evil and Mephisto who sees him as a worthy ally for his own uses.
  • Surprisingly, Damien has nothing but utter contempt for Angra Mainyu, thinking he is too frail and pathetic to consider himself a Satanic Archetype and really doesn't sit well with the idea that Angra Mainyu is destined to fail at every opportunity he rebels against Ahura Mazda, whom Damien also hates. He also dislikes Archaon the Everchosen for being a whiny brat regarding the Chaos Gods and finds it hilarious that all his efforts to destroy his world were all for naught as the Chaos Gods still benefited anyway. Archaon simply sees Damien as another enemy, given he is allies with the Chaos Gods at this point, with Archaon now allied to Darkseid out of spite and a chance of rebellion. However, a lot of deities have pointed out that Damien is trying to free someone who has already lost and and is working with someone who is destined to lose. These comments infuriate Damien to no end, given how he actually wants to defy this and ensure Melkor wins. He'll be making sure his hellhounds find and maul whatever idiot has tried to question his motives and logic.
  • He has two children, Delia and Alexander, the former a vessel for the Anti-Christ and the latter being Damien's true successor. Damien felt amused that despite his death, his legacy would carry on, although what happened to Delia and Alexander was never shown further. Now with his children as his heralds, Damien is doing his best to instill as much depravity and lack of morality as possible.
"My followers have been slaughtering your children around the world, and you have not lifted a finger to save them"

  • On Good Terms With: Orphan Deities in the Pantheon
  • Pities: Chirin
  • Born in Late Cretaceous Korea 80 Million Years Ago, Speckles lived a happy, triumphant life with his mother, sisters and brother.. until a Tyrannosaurus Rex, One Eye, suddenly caused a stampede, killing Speckles's brother and sisters before personally challenging the mother, quickly defeating and killing her and stealing their territory. Orphaned, Speckles lived most of his life under One Eye's shadow, during which he met another Tarbosaurus, Blue Eyes. The two bonded and despite being hounded by One Eye, eventually reached adulthood. After Speckles finally defeated One Eye and reclaimed his childhood home life, he was able to settle down with Blue Eyes and three infants, one of which took a striking resemblance to Speckles, naming him after himself. Unfortunately, a volcanic eruption destroyed their territory and killed one of the infants, and later on, Blue Eyes herself. Later on in an attempt to find a new home, Speckles would soon fight One Eye one last time to defend Speckles Jr. after the tyrannosaur had killed the second infant. Ending with the tyrannosaur's demise at the jaws of a pair of tylosaurs, Speckles soon collapsed on a seashore. Waking up, he embarked to search a new home with Speckles Jr., wishing his son a happy life...
  • Speckles wandered into the Pantheon, searching for a new land to call home. Not just for himself, he wanted to ensure his son would grow up without going through the same suffering as he himself did. He registered that much of the Pantheon was home to numerous animals of differing dietary choices, which he was comfortable with. Oddly for his species, he isn't part of the Prehistoric Beasts Sub-House, although he very frequently visits it considering he is a dinosaur.
    • His follower is a resident from Dinotopia, a Giganotosaurus named Stinktooth. Both of them are powerful and feared apex predators. Despite their predatory instincts, Speckles and Stinktooth are good hearted, with both of them having a close relationship with their respective sons. Stinktooth would defend Speckles's family fiercely should the latter be off to a different duty, which Stinktooth is respectful of. Stinktooth is also trying to get Speckles to interact and bond with Human residents like himself.
  • Don't be fooled just because he is in a good alignment. Speckles is a meat eating dinosaur, thus he has to kill animals in order to ensure his survival. That said, he is surprisingly able to form a positive relationship with herbivores, considering his next adventure had him befriend a Saichania. This might be the reason why he is able to easily get along with Angurius.
  • His goal surprisingly isn't to exact revenge against One Eye, but to simply survive to adulthood and live out a normal life as a predator and father, although he was hoping on taking back his former home. Given he has every reason to despise One Eye, it actually worked into his favor as some have speculated Speckles wanting revenge isn't something natural for a dinosaur, instead being something more akin to One Eye. As a result, the moment he learned about Chirin, Speckles took great pity, even resulting in him thinking how his life would have went if he decided to dedicate his life into killing One Eye for revenge.
  • Has formed a strong partnership with Rexie, despite the latter being the same species as One Eye. Rexie often allows Speckles to have company with her and the two are often seen together hunting and looking after the Prehistoric Beasts Sub-House. The Gang of Seven, although initially nervous, quickly warmed up to Speckles, especially Littlefoot and Chomper, the former understanding how it felt losing a mother and the latter for introducing Speckles Jr. to the gang as an honorary member. Similarly, Dino and Hoppy don't mind him either, unlike most predators as Speckles is more cordial and ambivalent to the two. That said he is a scary animal if gotten to his wrong side.
  • HATES The Sharptooth and given how incredibly similar he is to One Eye (Both having killed the protagonist's parents, missing an eye and being sociopathic in nature), its easy to see why. Sharptooth is rather amused by how Speckles despises him, but at the same time, expresses disgust in that he is friends with Littlefoot. The two had a vicious battle that had to end up with Rexxar stepping in to break it up. Thankfully, Speckles is more focused on taking care of Jr. than fighting against Sharptooth just because he reminds him of his former Arch-Enemy.
    • This feeling would later extend towards Scar, whose actions involving the death of Mufasa and the exiling of Simba infuriated Speckles to no end. He considers Scar just as depraved as One Eye, if not, more so, considering he was Mufasa's brother and Simba's nephew. Although through all of this, Speckles did manage to make friends with Mufasa and Simba, the former praising him as a just and dedicated father and the latter finding a lot of common ground together. On a similar note, Speckles also finds a kindred spirit in Bambi for the loss of his mother.
    • Is very uncomfortable about the Indominus rex. Even more unsettling is that she has an alliance with Sharptooth, which had Speckles often meet up with Rexie when it comes to dealing with them. At the same time, Speckles has become allies with the Raptor Pack and respects Owen Grady in being able to discipline the four predators.
  • His species being a member of the tyrannosauridae, Speckles is seen in a high regard by the residing Power Rangers, particularly the Mighty Morphin and Dino Thunder Rangers, considering their zords are based on dinosaurs. Speckles would often ally himself with the rangers to combat against Mesogog.
  • Gets along with the Monster Hunters as Speckles finds himself fighting against Deviljho and Glavenus rather occasionally and on the losing side on that. He is grateful for the hunters' support and sometimes repays the favor by guiding them on different hunts, though with the deal that Speckles has to take a chunk of meat for himself, Blue Eyes, Speckles Jr. and his two other kids to feast on, much to the hunters' chagrin.
  • His protectiveness over his son has made him one of the most respected deities from the House of Family. It also helps that Speckles frequents the House as he feels the company there is great for his family. Similarly, he also fiercely opposes the Child Abuse Supporters, especially Heihachi, Scar and Ozai for their horrible treatment towards children. He holds the most animosity towards Scar for obvious reasons.
  • Takes his time to interact with Eliza Thornberry and Steve Irwin. Turns out Speckles still carries a lot of grief in being unable to save all of his family except his son, despite them being his heralds in the Pantheon. Because of this, he has made acquaintances with Kratos, Asura and John Wick due to them grieving over the deaths of their spouse. Speckles also gets along with Bowser, the latter admitting to having a lot of respect for Speckles's dedication towards his son. Despite being a villain, Bowser remains cordial towards the Tarbosaur, treating him like a good friend. Speckles is aware of Bowser's villainy, but given how Mario treats him like a friend, he is willing to get along with the Koopa King.
  • Like most Beasts in the Pantheon, he's made enemies against Pokemon Hunter J and has fought against her on some occasions, often trying to defend himself or the House of Beast. He also took a stance with numerous heroic deities against the Beastmen led by Khazrak and Gorthor during their mass invasion under the orders of Melkor and the Chaos Gods, in addition to forming an alliance with Grimlock and Dinobot to fight against Beast Wars Megatron.
  • Would often compete against Gwangi for land and territory. They would be enemies if it were not for the fact that Speckles has other priorities to deal with. He also butts heads against Tyrantrum, although in the latter's case, the two are somewhat respectful for one another and would put aside their differences if the House of Beast was under threat.

I think, if you do wanna get technical, Touhou could fall under the Indie banner...? Heck, under those regards, if Homestuck is also a video game, it could also fall under that banner. The most extreme end of "Indie" I would consider could be with regards to the asinine idea that everything, at one point, was indie, including AAA giants like Activision and Capcom. It just required a boot to the toot and they're off!

So, here's this draft for Kilian. Didn't take all that long surprisingly, but I guess that's what happens when I work on something completely different.

More to the point, any suggestions and/or corrections?

The Kilian Experience, God of Insane Troll Logic

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ekg4tujc_400x400.png
Kilian himself.note
  • Potential House: Logic
  • [tup]s:
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A tricorn hat wearing red panda reading a Spanish book.
  • Theme Song: Rickety Roadster - Purple Planet
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Unreliable Narrator, Blatant Lier, Red Pandas, The Ageless after beating Death in karaoke, Been There, Shaped History, Dirty Coward, Failing at otherwise simple tasks, Failing at failing
  • Domains: Red Pandas, Absurd Logic, Satire, Reviews, Failure
  • Allies: Miria Akagi, Master Chief
  • Enemies: Manatees, Digital Pirates like Arfoire, Archaon the Everchosen, Crustaceans
  • Opposed by: Chefs
  • Opposes: Steven Universe, J. Jonah Jameson
  • Kilian: "TV Tropes is a website about cataloging various narrative devices throughout various works and media. Not quite useful to plagiarize like Wikipedia. With that in mind, the Trope Pantheons would naturally be fan fiction about real-estate."
  • The Kilian Experience is a Swedish reviewer youtuber notable for his satire, historical in-jokes, Alternative Character Interpretation, and bizarre train of thought. He entered the Pantheon by accident while doing "research" for a Garbage Guide to the Trope Pantheons and ended up facing the Court of Gods when a video of his abridging Warhammer Fantasy was shown to Archaon the Everchosen. Kilian being dragged to the Court happened around when Archaon started melting down considerably.
  • Whether they are reviews, recaps, or guides, Kilian takes many a liberty with them. From Waluigi being a bastard son of an abusive alcoholic king and split-personality of Princess Peach, to Chrono going back in time in that exact point in history and suffocating in a vacuum before being secretly replaced by a look-alike in the Middle Ages. Usually not many people mind them or care enough to correct them, save for Archaon who promises to mount his head on a pike because the recap involved him dying of constipation before being replaced by a politically correct Badass Pacifist who brought about the End Times that dragged even the Chaos Gods before succumbing to constipation himself. Kilian responded by mailing him garlic bread to help with bowel problems. We're not sure if he's being genuine or...
  • Though some appearances may point to Kilian being human he is in truth a red panda aka a video game raccoon, a species (according to Kilian) known for their camouflage, problem solving, and galactic spanning empire. Their greatest rivals were the manatees, a hateful Horde of Alien Locusts born from a prank involving morbidly obese sea lions with the rudeness to waiter times 20,000. They both decimated each other thanks to an alpaca walking up a hill and both crashed races down to Earth where red pandas were too lazy to rebuild and opened up a night club while manatees became entertainment. In the wake of all of this the red pandas grapes fell into Earth's waters and became proto-wine giving humans a hangover and kickstarting their rise to civilization. Now, regardless of the supposed rich history of red pandas, many people like Miria Akagi find him adorable.
  • On his end he has an interesting relationship with House of Gaming as video games are a primary topic when it comes to reviews despite Kilian himself claiming he doesn't like them and claiming they're just political science videos. This can be traced back to his propositions of saving and maturing the game industry with child labor, acts of asking for the banning of video games, making Rareware Entertainment bankrupt, and defending statements against pre-orders, as they might be good anyone who thinks otherwise is lazy Cannibal Hitler, and Loot Boxes, violently insisting they are not gambling.
    • He does, however, think the original Halo Trilogy is a masterpiece and always has something good to say about them. He'll never forget how much of an emotionally journey the first one was. Naturally he's very fond of Master Chief for this very reason. The Spartan doesn't go out of his way to hand around Kilian all that much, though he doesn't mind him.
  • Even before his ascension Kilian is rather infamous in the House of Food's community. How did he earn such a reputation you may ask? Well, it can all be traced back to when he made a video showcasing how to make the perfect crab. Specifically, it was a video on an old Frankish crab recipe dubbed Crabe al la Pebe Maximum. In English, it goes by the meaningful name CRAB IN PEPSI MAX! Boiling it until he got bored and it smelled like "dying in mud" he also baked a baguette upside down and made French White Wine by combining American Red Wine and Turkish Yogurt. Repulsing crustaceans everywhere, he was asked why he did what he did, surprisingly heartfelt speech about art aside. He gave the following:
Kilian: "I was tired of the sun. Always blinding me while I'm on the computer. I wanted rain and I thought the best way to do that was to make god cry."
    • Comically bad cooking aside, the House denizens are also afraid he'll to go ballistic at the sight of potatoes. Specifically when they're near anything Medieval or anything resembling it because it's completely and utterly historically inaccurate. Potatoes were discovered when Europeans came to Peru, far after those times.
    • As a side note he also claimed to have snagged a candle from Notre-Dame de Paris to go with the dish, if his word is anything to go off of. For this reason he was banned from the House of Faith for a few months and restricted from many of its areas otherwise. He tried appealing through his history as the Pope of Reindeer religion but that hasn't gone anywhere.
  • Claims to have challenged and beaten Death in karaoke thus resulting in his incredibly long life for a red panda (12 - 14 years, 8 - 10 on average for your information) which puts many of his historical in-jokes into perspective. When he dies again Kilian plans on challenging Death in Guitar Hero "Through The Fire and Flames" on expert. It's not to win or anything like that, he just wants to see him do it.
  • Kilian takes offense at the idea of prisons. They are just a fad created by some ancient hipster made to replace eye for an eye and fall like domino to the combination of cool rebels and Unfolding Plan Montages. Thus, when it came his turn at the helm he first banned those two things and it escalated from there. Turns out he's a pretty horrible warden with many prisoners dying on his first days because he didn't buy any washing machines. Then he amped up security and installed an electric chair (with vending machines and couches) and bragged about tax evasion and how he can't be arrested because a prison warden in prison is against the laws of physics. Didn't work, and he rotted in prison. Well, Killian with two Ls did. Kilian escaped through explaining montages and sacrificing the lives of his friends and many other prisoners.
    • While on the subject of his criminal history he also installed meth labs in his new car brand: The Kilrari, a slightly bigger carnote . Then there was time he was roped into violating the Geneva Convention with Sylvanas along with other shenanigans, all for a measly 58 gold. Though admittedly he didn't know what he was getting into as he was initially tasked with killing some bears and came to conclusion she hired him as a joke. Considering that beforehand he was Demonhunter who lost all his money to a goblin ponzi scheme and spent two years fishing, somehow missing out on the entirety of events involving Sargeras and the Burning Legion's third invasion, it may as well been a joke.
  • A Dirty Coward he only acts like a hero when he needs to. If you don't believe us he tried ignoring World War 2 as New Zealand and only fought Nazi Germany after the Soviet Union and United States (sans Delaware) collapsed and when they refused his proposition to join them. With Delaware's help he won by the way. But even he has his standards. Digital piracy, for example, is crossing the line and that people who do so are just sick fucks. And he's dissatisfied with how they are dealt with nowadays. Instead of taking them to the House of Justice he proposes that they just stick a point cannons at their houses like they did in the 18th century. He tried smuggling one in to blow Arfoire to kingdom come but he was stopped at the gate and asked for his pirating license and ended up leaving in defeat when he was unable to give the pirate password they ask of pirates who are from Sweden and are red pandas. He wasn't tricked, he just felt unwelcome.
  • Once, Kilian tasked himself with capture the fabled Santa Claus. When Kris Kringle's Christmas Joy started to loom ominously over the horizon Kilian took it upon himself to travel back to the past and halt its spread in the present. First he arrested Christopher Colombus. Then he erased the Advent of Electricity, the printing press, and Halo: Combat Evolved. Then he assassinated Julius Caesar to stop Christmas' invention. Eventually he settled on assassinating Santa as a baby but found he emerged from the burning Earth a la Lavos. Santa then gave Kilian uncooked broccoli and succumbed to Christmas Joy.
Kilian: "DAMN YOU SANTA! Damn you to a snowless Christmas!"
  • Has the uncanny ability to lose at what would otherwise be very simple tasks and conversely succeed at things that would otherwise end in burning failure. Beating Superman 64 in his first ever try, being unable to get past Cupheads title screen even with 11 hours of playtime, losing to a level 2 Pichu in becoming the best Super Smash Bros. Melee player, and faking the moon landing but actually landing the set to fake it on the moon are just some examples. Perhaps most egregious was when he tried to conquer Europe as the county of Cornwall and nearly dominating the continent in just 20 minutes before coming to a grinding halt against Duke Steven of Some Place. Eventually Some Place came under his control but Steven passed away and Kilian's Cornwallian Empire collapsed. Frustrated and wondering what could of been he decided to project the feelings towards Steven Universe because he thinks he the Duke's reincarnation.
  • J. Jonah Jameson once reported about Kilian cheering for a terrorist attack, which greatly irritated the youtuber. While preparing to strike back via calling cyberbullying, Kilian was asked the context of the quote. He explained that it came from his political science video on creating the perfect the perfect society and to do that he had to end much of civilization and create a dystopian one out of it and run a Deadly Game. The idea is to create an environment to produce a revolutionary to rise up but they ended up... killing everyone and damning the last vestige of humanity to extinction. Yeah. But in a roundabout way he succeeded: No one is complaining. Therefore, society is perfect.
And that is the Trope Pantheon Experience. *Cue end music*note

Honestly, I would think that they would mourn with her over her creator passing on, even most of Antagonist House would join with Protagonist House in mourning, considering the messy nature of that affair, despite her actions in her world. That's at least how I see it, Weird.

Then again, this is also coming from someone who could add in the Inspector from Papers Please to the group and just have him do nothing more than just sit in Protagonist House and drink tea while checking his equipment.

[up] At the end of it all, I agree with you on that. That entire thing is not necessary to be in the Pantheon, and I've actually never played the game either. That being said, as long as the work in question isn't entangled with the creator's taint like, let's say, John K with his cartoons, then the art can be separated from the artist. That's all I'll state here, since going any deeper will just be unnecessary and prone to explode in an apocalypse of flame wars.

@Speckles I think he would fit in Beast: Other better, as Predation Is Natural is about animal behavior and is in Animal Tropes, and I don't want too see Character Roles get too overstuffed with profiles again, as I moved out some profiles as the page was getting too big. Though, we might need to create new subhouses when Beast: Other gets too long.

[up]By adopting a profile, you take a profile that belongs to another person with their permission so you could work on it. What do you mean by "add in the middle"? Do you mean add more trivia? If there's any thing you're confused with, read the rules and instructions/tips located at the top of the forum.

Ok thanks! Any way to PM him because he doesn't have to have a user page only 2 sandbox pages? Also, anyway to edit your profile page? Not your actual profile but the user page. I don't seem to have one. Do I have to make our own user page? I'm on mobile running my account so maybe that's why.

[up] You don't need a user page to PM them, just go to messages, click "send PM", type in their name, and tell them what you want to do.

Aspen Karch Aspen Karch I made some pages for you, the latter can be used for Trope Pantheon ideas. Just click edit on those pages to start creating them, then when you're done, the links will turn blue.
