Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Basically done with the Splits. Which house would they go into?

Drooper, Bingo, Fleegle and Snorky, Gods of Escalating Violence (The Banana Splits)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unknown_877.jpeg
From left to right: Drooper, Bingo, Snorky and Fleegle
  • Demigods
  • Symbol: The gang playing in a band.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil, Neutral Good for Snorky
  • Portifolio: Far More Violent Than The Originals, Malfunctioning Animatronics, Oddly Humorous For Murderers, Robots Gone Murderous, Band Toons, Fond Of Inflicting Creative Deaths, Rather Similar To Five Nights At Freddys
  • Domains: Adaptations, Gore, Animatronics, Horror
  • Allies (Snorky): Everyone Under Opposed By, Flowey
  • Enemies: Springtrap, Molten Freddy and Circus Baby, .GIFany, Naughty Bear
  • Opposed By: Every Other FNAF Deity, Every Hanna-Barbara Deity, Dipper and Mable Pines
  • Entertains: The Evil Entity
  • In a certain universe, the TV series The Banana Splits was hosted by animatronics instead of people in costumes, being programed to entertain both live audiences and the TV audience. While they were relatively popular, ultimately their Network Executive, Andy, wanted to can the show just so he can replace it with something "Cool and edgy", dooming the robots to rot and rust in a junkyard for the rest of their days. The gangs desperation to stay up on air, alongside their programing malfunctioning and their coworkers being dicks about the whole thing, drove them to murder every employee and adult attending their last live show and trap the children in the building so that they can entertain them forever, clearly not understanding that children tend to die if they're not fed after a while. Thankfully, after murdering quite a few people in creative and brutal ways, the survivors, alongside one of the Splits having a change of heart, were able to stop and destroy the animatronics and save the children. However, one survivor who was driven to madness was last seen driving off with the remains of the Splits, their fates otherwise unknown.
  • The way the Splits were discovered by The Pantheon was naturally a messy tale. Trying to prepare for a Childs birthday, The Court of the Gods decided to bring in a band for the special occasion, with the added bonus of potentially gaining a new god in the process. While they were indeed intending on bringing in The Banana Splits, they accidentally got the film versions mixed up with the series versions, only realizing their mistake a few hours after the Splits had arrived to the party. Quickly figuring out the story behind these particular Splits, the Court quickly rushed to the party, only to see that they've already killed a good few of the adults there, alongside traumatizing most of the attending children. After stopping the robots from doing anymore damage, it was later revealed that it was Melkor who'd set up the mix-up, having been impressed by how brutal the robotic Splits could get. And with that, The Banana Splits were ascended with the title of Escalating Violence, much to the dismay of many.
  • After their ascension, the band set up camp in their temple, a run-down version of their old studio, and established themselves in the Pantheon. Their behavior there can be summed up as this: They start searching for someone having a party, usually kids, and promptly find and crash it, proceeding to preform for the audience. While they're usually docile while performing, if any adult interrupts their performance, they'll start going on a rampage, killing any interfering adult while sparring the kids. Usually, this ends up indirectly harming kids via trauma. Considering the Pantheons World of Badass nature, it isn't too hard to keep them out, and occasionally they'll leave without a massacre if allowed to finish, many have still found them to be surprisingly tricky to stop once they start killing.
    • Luckily, there was a bright side to all of this, in the form of band member Snorky, who was the only one not killing anyone during the aforementioned party. As it turned out, he was the most benevolent of the group, as while he was still a brutal killer, he recognized that the bands actions were doing more harm than good to the children, an audience that the band still cares for. As such, he's perfectly willing to put a stop to his bandmates antics if they get too destructive. Helps that the rest of the Splits are ridiculously forgiving to Snorky for some reason.
  • Seeing how they're murderous animatronics, they're obviously opposed by the human workers at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Hell, Mike Schmidt actually considers them in some ways worse than the killer robots he has to deal with, seeing as they're much more brutal with their killings than the Fazbear Gang usually is. The fact that they regularly endanger children through sheer misunderstandings have also made them unpopular with the Fazbear Animatronics, as at least they don't nearly get kids killed (Well, at least nowadays). The Splits themselves couldn't care less about the humans, but they actually have some respect to the animatronics, seeing them as "Fellow robotic entertainers". However, the deities do get along relatively well with Snorky, thanks to the Token Good Teammate role. Mike's still weary of the whole "Still brutally murders people who piss him off" thing, however.
    • It should be noted, however, that the Splits genuinely care about their children audience, having been programed to entertain them and all. They only threaten them due to severely misunderstanding how humans usually work, as well as carelessly traumatizing them with their actions. With that out of the way, the Splits, Snorky included, utterly despise Springtrap, who's a unrepentant child murderer in the form of an undead robotic Serial Killer. His ally Molten Freddy, who also gleefully murders children out of bloodlust, get similarly no love from them, even if he's a robot like them. Afton and Freddy, despite finding the robots and their nature rather humorous, are wise enough to stay out of their way, as the duo are well aware of how brutal the Splits could get.
    • They also have a bone to pick with Circus Baby, being another creation of Aftons who, to them, is just as willing to kill children as her creator is. However, what they don't know is that Baby is actually possessed by Afton's daughter Elizabeth, who seeks to become just like her father. The real Baby really doesn't like to murder innocents, only wanting some freedom, and is just unfortunate enough to be possessed by a malevolent spirit. That said, both personalities don't like the Splits very much, Elizabeth because they're opposing her and Afton, and Baby because the Splits are still murderous sentient animatronics who get overly brutal with their kills.
  • It's no secret that the Splits are based off the Hanna-Barbara characters of the same name, so its natural that the other HB gods would take notice. While a good few of them are willing to sympathize with them do to their malfunctioning nature, the gods otherwise oppose the group, obviously finding them terrifying mockeries of the originals. Of note is the Mystery Gang, who've faced their fair share of murderous malfunctioning robots, though obviously none of them were as violent as the Splits. While the gang are just as grossed out by them as the others, they're still perfectly willing to tackle any case involving them, even if it's not much of a mystery.
    • Speaking of Scooby Doo, there is one HB deity who's fond of them: The Evil Entity, a malevolent Eldritch Abomination who revels in corrupting innocent people into murderous psychopaths. With that in mind, he honestly finds the robots to by honestly hilarious, with it gleefully pointing out that it didn't even need to lift a finger to corrupt the group. As a result, a few of the parties the Splits crash are often masterminded by The Entity. The group, for the most part, aren't aware of its existence, though they'll sometimes remark that they feel a strange presence during their "shows".
  • Seeing as they're still fond of kids, the Splits are still fond of two of their opposers, those being Dipper and Mable Pines. As the twins have faced Hostile Animatronics before, it's obvious that they would be against the Splits, thanks to them being even more brutal than the ones they faced. Doesn't help that they don't have the excuse of .GIFany taking control of them. That said, they they actually get along well with Snorky, Mable in particular due to finding him adorable. On the Splits side, while they generally treat the twins well, being kids and all, they have heard of .GIFany and are justifiably wary of the AI, even considering her to be completely insane. Considering the kind of killers the Splits are, that's saying something.
  • Due to their malfunctioning nature, the Splits don't usually have many people they could call "Enemies", usually not comprehending why exactly people hate them. That all changed one day when they met fellow cuddly slasher Naughty Bear, who located the Splits "Playing" at a party and started beating the crap out of them. While the Splits were creative enough to put up a fight, Naughty's superior equipment meant that he emerged victorious, the Splits completely in pieces. After being repaired, they considered Naughty to be a massive bully who picks on people smaller than him, never mind the fact that the reason the bear went after them was because they unintentionally do that as well. If nothing else, Naughty and his Narrator is impressed by how creative they could get with their kills, just not that they use it against innocents.
  • Oddly enough, The Splits have been seen hanging around with Flowey of all people, who claims that the animatronics are "His kinda people". Strangely, while he talks about having participated in a few of their massacres himself, witnesses have confirmed that he never actually does anything during them, mostly just watching from the sidelines. If anything, these incidents tend to not only be ended shorter than usual, but also don't have nearly as many casualties as the others do. That's because, as usual, Flowey is secretly sabotaging the Splits in order to minimize casualties, having infiltrated the group to do so. He originally found out about it by reaching out to Snorky, who fulfills a similar role in the group, albeit less subtly, figuring that the elephant would relate to him, as well as probably needing help with the group.

@Crimson Fine [tup]

Since Baptiste was brought up once again after a year of no progress and I'll be taking a break from reworking since there are only two Bloodborne profiles to fix, I guess I can try to bring up Montagne. So here is his draft. Anyone who are common shield users?

Gilles Touré, Wielder of Heavily Defensive Loadouts (Montagne, Monty)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/montagnefullbody.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: An imposing, down-spiked shield
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Wields an extendable shield called "Le Roc", highly armored but will protect his teammates at any time, mighty defense, uses his imposing shield as a distraction for others, effective at close-range, advances with a high-extendable shield, can basically block ballistic explosions, his name is "mountain" in French, the tallest and biggest man of Team Rainbow
  • Domains: Shields, Counter-Terrorism, Revolvers, Protection, Defense
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Psychological Report: "Specialist Gilles "Montagne" Touré's imposing presence, along with his unwavering gaze, is impressive and (as a tactic) I can see how it can be unsettling. He's a man of few words, even among his friends. I chose to visit him at one of the GIGN Training Centers so that he'd be more comfortable talking. […] Observing Touré with his trainees gave me a better sense of him. In this capacity he was accessible, fair, and even gregarious. […]"
    • "We started by discussing his role as an instructor. Touré was excited that Rainbow continues to evolve and is proud to be a part of it. He told me there's always a lot to learn from his peers and that, lately, he's been trying to stretch beyond his comfort zone. He has certainly taken the lead on including more virtual simulation in our training. He's hoping to incorporate the unique skills of operators such as Specialist Grace "Dokkaebi" Nam in his next sessions. […]"
    • "Touré has a naturally protective nature. His choice to enter law enforcement speaks more to that than his family's military history. The middle of four - his two brothers are also in the military - Touré said that the family raised them to be protectors. Their parents recounted stories of various ancestors who fought for what was right. […] He believes that education is the solution to many of the world's problems. His sister finished her police training but switched to teaching when she felt that was where she could do the most good."
    • "Because Touré has an understated confidence, I was surprised when he expressed doubt about his role in Rainbow. Many of our operators are exceptionally skilled with languages. Touré isn't. None of the reports suggest this is an issue, but even a perceived weakness can become debilitating. I encouraged him to select one - only one - language to focus on studying, and asked some of the other specialists to make an effort to include him in their conversations. If all goes well, it'll feel less like he's being tested and more like he's being folded into the group."
  • In the world of counter-terrorism, many weapons and various tools are used to subdue the enemy force, whether it would be giving a hail of bullets to your target or providing barriers to protect yourself and others. In the case of Team Rainbow operator Montagne, his specialty lies in the latter, providing a large extendable shield to protect his advancing allies on the offensive. What he differs from others is his setup as his is purely tailored to be the most armored of most offensive operators, allowing him to be the shield to the rest of his team's sword. As a consequence, his weaponry is quite lacking and is only given a revolver and some grenades to give him some form of compensated firepower but regardless, his shield will help create the defensive wall for the offensive.
  • One of the first of the GIGN that Team Rainbow recruited under the formation of a new elite team, Montagne could be considered as one of the very first original operators that accepted recruitment. That was not without issues as his imposing nature, while intimidating at first, can be unsettling towards his other partners. Then came to his personal profile as he is mostly silent, a man of few words some would say, which includes his lack of experience with other languages. Though some psychological talks have shown that he is willing to extend his role beyond what he has already experienced and a few observations have identified all that armor, behind is a man of protection to his team.
  • At some point, Team Rainbow took the initiative to implement a few of their elite forces in a few corners of the world in the intent of maximizing protection from all kinds of hostile forces. The Pantheon was among those the team has attempted but most have seemed fruitless. Some efforts later and both Caveira and Fuze have managed to ascend, prompting them to reconsider adding more of their forces to bolster security in the Pantheon (though considering that the threats in the Pantheon are far more than human). Even when the odds are against them, they will have to respond and Montagne heed that call.
  • "Be ready for anything."

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

Since I need to make a proposal if I want to have certain characters in the Pantheon, this is my best effort. I want to propose the Original 20 contestants for the Living Objects House. It is a popular show that has been going on for 11 years, and since they are living objects, they would be perfect. I saw that BFDI used to have a Pantheon Page (that was removed before anything could be done with it), and it said to "Ask the Tropers". I later found the discussion page and decided to ask here instead. If the Master's Appliances are a better option, then that's fine. Maybe certain characters can go into other houses (such as Leafy or Flower being in the house of Nature) or maybe they can be gods of Snarky Inanimate Objects.

[up][up] Okay. First of all, welcome to the Pantheon. After 9 years in development, hopefully it would've been worth the wait.

Now. You got to know you can't "propose" profiles right away, you need to first write down your reasoning for why those deities deserve the trope in an organized manner like this. Only if it's approved can you make a profile and post it here for feedback. Also, check Text Formatting if you want to learn how to properly format things. Also you need to propose the profiles with an actual Trope that isn't currently taken, Inanimate Objects is not a trope, so I suppose you mean either Animate Inanimate Object or Snarky Inanimate Object

Cobra Bubbles, God of Embarrassing Last Names

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His "Cobra" Knuckle Tattoos
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Baritone and Scary Black Man Still With The Surname Bubbles (And First Name Cobra), Bald Of Awesome, Brutal Honesty, Was An Antagonist, But Just Doing His Job, Sympathetic, If Not All That Friendly, The Men in Black, Reasonable Authority Figure
  • Domains: The CIA, Social Workers, Intimidation, Investigation, Extraterrestrials
  • Herald: Shush/Experiment 324note
  • Keeping tabs on: Jumba's Experiments, any extraterrestrial activity in Hawaii, Necrozma, The Ultra Beasts, the Extraterrestrials house (especially) Roger the Alien
  • Allies: Lilo and Sitch, Agent K and Agent J, Conrad S Hauser and Snake Eyes, Mary Poppins and the rest of the Heroic Protectors Of Family, The Blorg Community, The Silencerz, the Grand United Alliance of Good
  • Headbutting Heroes with: Stan Smith and Avery Bullock
  • Enemies: Hamsterviel, Boris the Animal, Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness, Zim, evil and invasive aliens in general, The Child Abuse Supporters
  • Opposes: Abusive Parents on principle
  • Uncertain on: The SCP Foundation
  • Cobra Bubbles is a stern social worker and supposedly former CIA agent concerned with Lilo and Nani's relationship. While gruff and not all that friendly, he means well for her. However it's not just family environments he has to worry about, what with the arrival of the alien Stitch. Having had experience with extraterrestrials in the past, and secretly a member of a Men In Black-type organization, he becomes an important player in the strange alien occurrences in Hawaii.
  • Yes, his surname is "Bubbles". He admits it's kind of embarrassing, which is why he prefers to only be referred by his first name of Cobra. This doesn't stop him from being badass. The dude was able to convince an invading alien force to spare Earth by lying and saying that insects were an endangered species. Cobra's skill in defending the Earth shows he's a brilliant operator, and a strong asset to the GUAG.
  • If you want to be more specific on the time he saved the world, it's because he convinced them mosquitos were endangered. The fact he made such a bold-faced lie and convinced them is all the more impressive. This happened in Roswell, though in 1973 rather than 1947. However he did end up finding Bender's head buried in the ground from the incident. Having been informed of the time traveling of that Roswell incident, he let Bender's head continue his rest in the ground to avoid a nasty time paradox.
  • It's not known if the organization he works for is literally the Men in Black, but in the pantheon they are for all intents and purposes. He's keeping tabs on the House of Extraterrestrials for them. Naturally this makes him an enemy of any hostile alien, and this also includes Zim. He's not an idiot and sees past his Paper-Thin Disguise, nor does he think that "because Zim's an idiot, he doesn't pose a threat to mankind" because he's seen evidence that he can be.
  • Due to his role in extraterrestrial phenomenon and First Contact scenarios, Cobra is also working alongside the Silencerz, who are another top-secret US government that's capable of combating hostile aliens. He is also working with the Blorg Community to expand humanity's reach and eye in case of alien threats.
  • Much of Cobra Bubbles' attention in matters of the extraterrestrial are on Hawaii. By extension, this includes Alola. As such, he is on full alert when it comes to the Ultra Beasts, and especially Necrozma after their invasion there. Fortunately Necrozma has found its one true place with Nebby and the unascended Gen VII protagonist, however it still posed a threat only comparable to Jumba's greatest experiments.
  • Though he didn't have enough connections to make Shush a god, he was able to make him his herald. For those in the know, Shush was one of Jumba's experiments meant for eavesdropping. Now he's an espionage agent for the CIA, which Cobra actually still works with. He wasn't exactly pleased to learn that Avery Bullock and Stan Smith have maintained their job, however when not goofing around or distracted by their own emotions they can be surprisingly effective. He's willing to work with them, but wishes they could be more competent and often plays the Straight Man to their wacky antics.
  • He is keeping watch out for Stan because he makes sure Roger doesn't misbehave too much. Of course, he can't let Stan know he knows about Roger being an alien. On Roger, he has made it clear to him he is watching and the moment he proves himself a significant enough threat to the safety of the human race, he will tell every CIA operative of his alien nature. Any attempts Roger made at intimidating Cobra failed and has made it a point that he has tangled with worse.
    • As part of his connections to the CIA, he is an enemy of Cobra and an ally of the G.I Joes.
  • Cobra still takes his job as a social worker seriously, and as such he makes frequent visits to the House of Family, especially the Family Dysfunctions wing. Immediately he was enraged by the Child Abuse Supporters and has sworn to bring them to justice, along with destroying their faction. To start with, he's buffed support for the Heroic Protectors of Family and made it clear he's watching any abusive parent in the pantheon. Among the Heroic Protectors of Family he works the closest with Mary Poppins.
  • Cobra Bubbles might have some connection to the SCP Foundation given their closeness to the Men in Black. He's not confirming or denying that, but he does admit he is researching the extraterrestrial SCPs. So far he's only really keeping checks on SCP-1171-1. Though racist, Beauremont is a non-issue.

Jacob Luke "Jake" Long, God of Were-Dragons (The American Dragon)

  • Houses: Dragons (House of Beast), Transformations (House of Shape)
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A gong with his human shadow imposed on a dragon shadow
  • Theme Song: The American Dragon intro theme songs (both Season 1 and 2)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Weredragon through Dragon Ancestry, The Hero (Knight in Sour Armor and Pragmatic Hero type), Cocky, Shirks Responsibilities But Noble And Heroic, Heroic Red Dragons, Half-Caucasian, Half-Chinese, Big Eater, Beware the Nice Ones, Protagonist Title
  • Domains: Dragons, Heroism, Teenagers, Shapeshifters
  • Allies: Lilo and Stitch, Spyro the Dragon, Harry Potter, Io, Bahamut, Crossbreed Priscilla, Ryu(Breath of Fire), Peter Parker/Spider Man, Avatars Wan, Aang and Korra, Zuko, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Lloyd Garmadon
  • On good terms with: Benevolent members of the House of Otherness, most dragons really
  • Friendly Rival: Danny Phantom
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Daenerys Targaryen (enemies with TV incarnation), The Dovahkiin
  • Enemies: Acnologia, dragon hunters in general, Tiamat, Ripto, The Sorceress, Melkor, Smaug, Aerys II Targaryen, Voldemort, Kaido, The Shredder
  • Jake Long is an at first unassuming Chinese-American teenager living in New York. In truth, he's a fire-breathing dragon who's job is to protect a secret world of magical creatures. The first American Dragon, he is said to be The Chosen One, though as a slacker teen he has a lot to learn. He gets it from his mom and her father. Normally he's in human form, but can transfer into a dragon.
  • The Weredragon trope was considered for Acnologia, however Jake decried this choice since Acnologia is a depraved beast who despises dragon and human alike. The fact that he hunts dragons only increased the American Dragon's ire towards him. It was Lilo and Stitch who ultimately proposed he gets the trope, as they had teamed up to deal with Morpholomew/Experiment 316.
  • Jake's ascension was a boon to the Otherness house, due to his role in guarding and protecting the magical creatures of an unseen world, though it remains taxing on his school life. Harry Potter has helped fill in some of his time protecting the magical world so he doesn't exhaust himself. Jake's travels eventually led him to meet another New York superhero, Peter Parker, who can relate to the stress of his role as Dragon Guardian given his own bad luck and responsibilities being a superhero.
  • The American Dragon wasn't happy to learn there were a number of fantastic racists who would want to see him dead. Ripto hates dragons in general, even ones with a human form. Voldemort considers Jake Long both a muggleborn and a "filthy half-breed". None of them revolted Jake as much as the Sorceress, who's plan of becoming immortal involves ripping off the wings of baby dragons. He is also an enemy of Kaido, due to being a Weredragon who's desire to spark the biggest war the world has ever seen is insane.
  • Jake is against dragon hunters by principle, and hopes the wish to destroy them all will mean the Huntsclan won't enter the pantheon. However he makes an exception for the Dovahkiin, at least to a degree. Despite his memetic hatred of dragons, the Dovahkiin only goes after malicious dragons and not ones outside the The Elder Scrolls verse as he doesn't have the same dreaded factor. He does have bad experiences with dragons as a whole so he only works with Jake to counter-act evil dragons. He'll be there if and/or when the Dark Dragon arrives.
  • As nobody knows where said Dark Dragon comes from, Jake wondered if he was a pupil of Melkor. Melkor claimed he was behind his turn to darkness, which was believable, but eventually his vanity led him to boast he is the progenitor of all dragons and that he is Jake's rightful ruler. Io stepped in and informed that other than possibly having a role in the Dark Dragon he's full of it. Jake naturally opposes someone as malignant as the first Dark Lord, and came to recognize Io as the true progenitor of dragons. He and Bahamut were proud to see Jake managed to make it to the pantheon.
  • While usually not as bad as the head of the Huntsclan, Shredder is still a villain who corrupted a ninja clan for his evil ends and that gives Jake bad memories of the Huntsclan. Fortunately for Jake he has the TMMT for backup, who can even turn into dragons themselves in one universe. Jake can also count for back up in the Dragon Warrior Po, and the quarter dragon Lloyd Garmadon.
  • There were a number of evil dragons like Tiamat or Smaug that Jake considers a threat to the magical world, however there are more benevolent, neutral or less bad dragons who considered him a great addition to their sub-house. Even Bowser was pleased, and in spite of sometimes fighting Jake Long when he uses magic for evil purposes like kidnapping the Sprixies they sometimes work together, especially when someone proves Eviler than Thou. Jake's a more straight ally with Spyro the Dragon.
  • His Dragon Ancestry was a point of interest for the Targaryens. Jake theorizes that their association with dragons and unique royal abilities are because Valyrians have actual dragons in their family tree. He wasn't happy around the likes of the Mad King Aerys, who in his delusions believed that burning down King's Landing with wildfire would have him reborn as a dragon. His daughter Daenerys was more level-headed and impressed by Jake, however the American Dragon is careful with her as while she has good intentions she can be...ruthless. Her TV incarnation's Face–Heel Turn has made that version an enemy of Jake Long.
  • He and Danny Phantom are rivals, albeit friendly ones. Other gods have noticed the comparisons: they're half-otherworldly beings who can shapeshift to that form, teenage superheroes and they help deal with supernatural/otherworldly threats. A simulation was made to determine in a no holds-bar fight who'd win. The simulation concluded Danny would make the winning strategy of overshadowing Jake and blasting him into a ghost.
  • Jake would rather not mention the time his grandfather wanted to hook him up with a younger version of his mom when he time traveled back to 1986. Marty McFly and Philip J Fry said that "it could've gone worse". He got Marty, but when taking a look at Fry's trope he felt a bit queasy and reaffirmed not wanting to mention said incident.
  • As Jake is a protector of two worlds, he works closely with all versions of the Avatar. He is also friends with Zuko, given dragons are the symbol of the Fire Nation and he learned the true firebender style from dragons.
"He's cool he's hot like a frozen sun. He's young, he's fast, he's the chosen one."

How about the "Aquafamily" for Apparently Human Merfolk then, at least for now, to include Aqualad/Garth, Aquaman II/Jackson Hyde and Andy/Future State Aquawoman?

And my thinking behind Mike Patton as avatar of Avant-Garde Metal is the diversity behind his projects (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas), not to mention his singular vocal range.
